I would like to share a picture of my Velcro Dog.

I realized why Gin gets so anxious when he doesn't see us for a long time.

A year ago 3 of us left the house and were out the whole day. In the evening, only 2 of us came home.

Gin greeted me and had his head on my knee as I cried on that horrible, horrible day.

I wanna gush about Captain so I'm gonna gush about Captain:

He gets all excited to have his collar put back on after a bath and sits politely before jumping onto my knees to let me have better access to his neck☺️

He's very cute when he snores sleeping all curled up on the rug or his little bed ❤️❤️❤️

He's always by my side some how like a little guardian and he's always got an eye on the door basically(he's only got one eye anyways so how literal)

His little brown eye filled with love ❤️ 🥺

He's my little old man and I love him very much!

I have the ultimate question

Us human beings have done SO many HORRIBLE things. We've destroyed forests, poured trash into the ocean, deliberately HARMED each other, and so, SO much more.

So, like, the fuck did we do to deserve dogs? They're these wholesome bundles of joy and affection who can do little to no wrong unless forced to. They keep us happy, help us stay active and healthy with (at least) weekly walks, etc.

Dogs are morally better than humans ever will be and we just don't deserve them

I have a theory. I think dogs have a slower perception of time. That's why they always freak out when you've only been gone for a few minutes. They think you've been gone for hours when you're wondering why they're so excited when you get home. If your gone for the whole day, they think you've been out the whole week. I could be totally wrong about this because I don't have a professional view on it, but it seems like a reasonable answer. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
