Where the fuck is the Cross Guild plotline going
Like Crocodile and Mihawk allowed Buggy to do his thing until now because getting rid of him wasn't nececary, but we've gotten to the point where Buggy has straight up riled up his men who are all behind him, not Crocodile and Mihawk, to go get One Piece, and while the two could easily wipe the floor with them, it just seems like it'd be a waste of everyone's time
I just can not imagine the two being at all willing to go along with Buggy on the quest for One Piece, not in a million years, since the other two's interests are literally the opposite, but with the way the men are riled up it's not like they'd be able to unconvince them to follow Crocodile instead
But also Buggy does have that ship ready
And didn't they imply the three remaining Seraphim have been sent to Empteebluffs???
What if the Seraphim do show up and it's up to the only two capable fighters in Cross Guild to deal with them and Buggy just flees with whatever crew he can muster while no one is looking because god knows it's his last chance???
But even if Crocodile and Mihawk abusing Buggy until he grew a spine was a required event to get Buggy to join the race for One Piece, it'd still be strange for Oda to make Cross Guild A Thing if it only gets disbanded soon after without anything else coming from it?? (Like if they get disbanded immidiately then why did they need to be established to begin with, if Crocodile and Mihawk have somewhere else to be/end up in some other situation then surely Oda could've skipped the Cross Guild-part)
So are Croco and Mihawk just going to go along with Buggy's plans because they can't be bothered to put up a fight (and if they're stuck on the ship with him and Buggy's crew it will be like two (three if you include Daz) against hundreds- again, the two could easily kill them all, but is it worth the effort???)
I just. Where the fuck is this plot thread going man

Every day I hope we'll be fortunate enough for Molly to stick around longer in the animated nein, that Taliesin--who said his favorite part of TLOVM is throwing in new twists to surprise fans of the stream--will get the chance to keep Molly longer and explore some of the backstory and plot points he never got the chance to--

I was reading the novel and this time something caught my attention that I don't know why I had overlooked it before, and that is how Athy talks about her life in the orphanage. Athy says that the children in the orphanage knew things that the children should not know, that she had to fight for what she wanted and that when she left that place she felt a kind of freedom.
To me, that screams abuse.
It bothers me that the fandom so overlooked the fact that Athy was abused not only in her first life (neglect) but also in her second life and I'm sure it must have been hell. I wish the manhwa had put more emphasis on this because many fans overlook Athy's trauma when she is literally the character who suffered the most.
Yes, to me it's canon that Athy was heavily abused in her second life. Adding to what you said, I remember her mentioning having to literally fight for food (a bowl of rice), or how they got a single sad birthday celebration per month. That's also where her initial fixiations with candy, money and her genuine love for studying come from, as Athy herself admits, she never had those kinds of luxuries (she mentions having to eat expired food in a "haha funny" way, but if you think about it for two seconds, it's just tragic. Like, she died from overdosing on sleeping pills to deal with the cold). I know a thing or two about how orphanages operate from my field of work and acquaintances, and kids in those institutions suffer from abuse in all sorts of ways while being completely ignored by society. I'm not from Korea, but going by what Plutus wrote and reading about the subject, the situation seems to be similar or even worse.
If I want to get overanalytical, part of her depression while living alone could be a consequence of the treatment she received at the orphanage. It's super common for kids in those situations to end up with depression, PTSD, having issues forming emotional connections, facing prejudice, etc. It's also canon that she was verbally and physically abused at her workplace. Athy treats her death as an accident, but in my opinion it's implied that it was a suicide, perhaps not in an "active way", but her behavior was edging the line. Which is again, common for people with that background. I think this plot point is interesting, as to my knowledge suicide is a taboo subject in East Asia. Most manhwas don't have their FL reincarnate after that.
I get what you mean, that part of Athy's trauma is often overlooked, but it probably has to do with most people not reading the novel and with Athy herself not really acknowledging it. She mentions her life as Lee Jihye at the beginning of the story, and then very rarely brings it up. But if anything, that's pretty consistent with how Athy deals with her trauma and negative emotions, refusing to acknowledge they exist until their weight is too heavy for her to endure. I like this piece of characterization a lot, but it leaves us with many questions that are hard to answer when Athy herself doesn't remember or actively tries to forget the trauma from her past lives. You could draw some parallels with Lucas and Claude's respective ways of dealing with trauma, loss and trying to forget (but Athy's mindset is more healthy and not so self-destructive lol).
Also yes, to me Athy is the character that has suffered the most by far. Not like this is a competition, but *gestures at LP* and the fact that she was a working class woman in Korea while the other characters (sans Lucas and Diana, I guess) are and always have been rich aristocrats in pseudo-France says enough /hj.

If we accept the assumption posed in Uprising that ISOs complex white light lines on their skin was a quirk specific to them, then the mystery of Cyrus’ badass tattoos becomes all the more intriguing.
1) It raises the question of the actual difference between ISOs and Basics. Do all Basics have the potential to become ISOs, i.e. without a User given directive?
2) Cyrus only seems to get them after he’s imprisoned in the “All-Code.” Either he gave them to himself, or they’re a natural formation. Personally I like to think that his code was eaten away while he was imprisoned, resulting in circuits that would otherwise not be visible suddenly becoming visible. Like imagine someone made of flesh and bone came out of a prison with every single one of their veins and arteries lit up like Christmas lights. I do not imagine this felt like giggles and sunshine.
3) Interestingly, nobody comments on them when he shows up at the bar with Beck. Does this mean its common, or that the people of Argon are too distant from the central action to understand that lines like that hint at an ISO?
4) Within those circuits is his infamous Tron forearm symbol, which suggest that he had some control over at least parts of his light lines. Or maybe they really are just innate code becoming visible, and he became so obsessed with Tron that it literally wrote itself into his code! Diabolical.

litrlly still hate how ive never seen enough talk abt how mac n dennis Clearly banged in the back office after Maureen kicks em out n they go back to the bar... Like..
dennis’ continual lack of ability to grasp the serious situation he’s in... he’s litrlly in a state of fuckin Afterglow rn dude. like it perfectly mirrors the ‘honeymoon’ phase type of behavior Maureen embodies in the beginning of this very ep....
AND THEN THIS??
LIKE WITH ALL THE AIR OF A MAN WHO JUST PISSED OFF HIS HUSBAND N THEY JUST MADE UP SO HES TRYIN NOT TO PUSH IT AGAIN..... PLEASE??
like this is not just my ‘Headcanon’ or whatever the shit... this is fucking Written Into The Show
(less coherent rambling.. now...)
im telling u... when Dennis talks abt ‘it was a little uncomfortable.. but im glad we got our heart to heart out of the way or whatever...’ HE WAS REFERRING TO SMTH THAT JUST HAPPENED BETWEEN HIM N MAC BETWEEN LAST NIGHT N THAT MORNING?? CUZ THEN HE HAS APPARENTLY BEEN FORGETTING ABT HIS DIVORCE WITH MAUREEN THRU THE NEXT HALF OF THAT SCENE???
its all abt how they bang n dennis thinks Thats enough for them to have been ‘made up’ now cuz thats how dennis has ALWAYS solved problems... but this time its different cuz theres real Emotion behind it now. like its dawning on them both that their previously seeming ‘friends w benefits’ situation was NOT just that cuz theres clearly an emotional conflict here thats going unacknowledged... like dude... then in S6 “Who Got Dee Pregnant?” with the whole thing abt Dennis getting mad at Mac cuz he thought they were gonna go in MATCHING COSTUMES (metaphor for their relationship being fixed aka back to how it was before in s4-pre “Macden Break Up”)... but Mac changes at the last minute, cuz then he makes things “emotional” in the first two eps of s6 so Dennis is mad cuz hes all like “mac messed up our good thing...” cuz hes repressed n forgotten the fact that--- its ALWAYS been emotional. ever since meeting mac in HS u kno dennis had a big fuckin crush but then something fucking traumatic happens that same year so Dennis just totally cuts himself off to cope n Mac doesnt understand so Macden become distant... then get close again by s4.. but just as things seem to be going back to how they were like when Macden first met in like 8th grade/HS whatever... close the way they were before... but then Macden Break Up happens... so Mac is having a similar emotional reaction he’d had when they were teenagers n Dennis started drawing away for no apparent reason (to Mac’s pov) n lashes out with all the Jesus Bullshit trying to hurt Dennis as bad as Mac’s feelin. dude its all soooo.. ITS SO
(ok That last part was all more actual HC shit LOL)
