Treasuring Voices

There were voices in his head.

He doesn't know where they came from, or who they were. All he knew was that they were there from the beginning.

[The beginning of what? Him, perhaps? When was this beginning? He couldn't tell you]

They were fewer back then. Back when his name wasn't known to all, before the blood God, before the king of Minecraft, before everything. Back then, they'd come and go as they pleased, never really staying.

[And it hurt when they didn't. When they left. He doesn't know why. He doesn't know why he cares.]

But that doesn't last very long. He trains and trains and trains, he works hard, ignoring his sweat and harsh breaths of exhaustion. He hones his skills, his mind, and he wields them like the realm's deadliest sword.

[And it pays off. The voices stay longer and newer voices pop in everyday. They grow louder and louder by the day as as more voices join the chaotic symphony. His symphony.]

All know him as Technoblade now. The Blood God. The Slayer of many. Awed looks and whispers follow him now. They look at him and see a God. Someone indestructible. He sees the fear in their eyes. He couldn't be more pleased.

[He finds out he could when the voices begin creating for him. He doesn't know how, but he sees their creations—their paintings, chronicles, books, stories, masterful works of art made just for him. He treasures it all.]

He has never felt more alive. He soars like a hawk over battlefields, striking down like he had never known mercy, revelling in death as it spills by his hand like hot blood.He was on top of the world Truly, he was invincible. After all, Technoblade never dies.

[The voices screeched, they begged for blood. "Blood for the blood God", they screamed in harmony. And he loved them too much to deny them.]

He was invincible. But not for long. He senses this long before the voices do, this sick rot inside him, a wound left untreated, raw and festering. He cannot save himself, this he knows. He must accept his fate and go with grace.

[The voices do not take it well. They wail and screech, they beg him to stay, to not go. But they know it's all in vain. What must happen will happen, and in no way can they cheat death herself]

He knows when his time comes. He senses death. Hears his mother's footsteps, the rustling of her many skirts, feels the familiar cold chill as she slowly walks to his bedside.

[They weep. Soft wails echo through his head as more and more creations are pushed into his mind. Lullabies, messages of goodbyes, masterful works of art made just for him. He treasures them all.]

Something I love about Techno is how he just. Asked for money. Asked for subs. No shame. He made it to his brand. When other creators would be like "hey- youtube statistics- if it's okay please subscribe? It costs you nothing.." and whatnot (no shame btw, totally cool) meanwhile Techno was like "Give me your money, guys! Sellout timer, become a channel member right now! Wast sums of money!
