Obey Me Lesson 12

Spoilers ahead!

This one is the worst for MC so far.

Imagine being awake the whole time but being locked in your own body, unable to move.

While the people you love pour their heart out to you, but you can't reach out to reassure nor help them with their fair share of emotional package.

It's interesting to note that only Belphegor and Beel were able to bring something out of MC. Beel was able to hear the 'I love you' and Belphie the squeeze of their hand, even if it was just faintly. Must be because of the connection to Lillith.

What surprised me the most that Lucifer decided to kiss us in the last part of lesson 12, ultimately breaking the curse thanks to the ring of light and his bond with MC from season 2 of the OG.

Overall, the monologues of the brothers were so cute and heartwarming, and we will make sure to fulfil our vow, how could we not??

We probably get lesson 13 after the newest event. Which theme is kinda ironic because the characters feel like chess pieces for Nightbringer.

Platinum Moon (an amazing small punk rock band everyone should go listen to) just released a song called we need therapy and while everyone is extolling the virtues of the blessed poet that is Hozier and the brand new album he dropped (which don't get me wrong I adore), I have never had a stronger emotional reaction to a song then i have to this song:

"raise your hand if you get tired of faking normal raise your hands if your dark humors out of control"

"I don't want to tell my parents that I left the with a letter I don't want to tell my friend if he keeps smiling things get better"

I lived that, I am living it and I started crying on the bus listening to it sung as a kick ass punk rock song,

B } Aziraphale puts a knee down and offers his pinky ring to Crowley, saying "You are my true and only light." - Crowley is crying of joy, they already know wath dress they will wear at church.

Y } Aziraphale jumps from Heaven's gate like a canon ball and crashes on his demon puppy, inhuman screaming and crying. - Crowley is hissing and crying, they fight cuddle, damaging Earth all around, perhaps they were the second apocalypse all along.

X } Aziraphale runs to Crowley, he wants to speak, he has to, but he's too out of breath... then he grabs Crowley and kisses them, the most soft, warm, tender kiss and touch aroud the demon's neck, the proper kiss back, burning their delicat skines, their deep breath in their trembling chests, their watery eyes, fusing their lips and warms together. Butterflies are fluttering in their hearts to stomachs, pure extasy lights their old souls, Freedom, for the first time in 6000 years. - Crowley hug him back, they melt in eachothers arms, soft tears and laughters flies betwin their little kisses. They could stay like this forever, being a source of love with no reason nor shame, like infinite cosmos of smoke and stars, the etheral embrace.

One random thing I like in Moon Knight is that when Steven starts realizing that he may be experiencing ✨mental illness✨,  his immediate reaction is “I need a therapist and some professional help.”

Like, in certain shows, the character will adamently deny help and say that they don’t need it, but in this show, the main characters themselves recognize the value of therapy and that they might need some of it. Steven actively tries to seek it out in a way. I like this representation, as it shows that a lot of people with these issues do want help, because we want to find a way to stop the pain.
