Tumblr media Tumblr media
those harry pics gave me major new husband!harry vibes so here we are, hope you enjoy !
MASTERLIST | MY PATREON
//
The Caribbean sun, the man you loved and your friends. There was definitely no better way to start the year.
In good old fashion, you decided to travel down to Anguilla for New Years, just like you did back in 2019 and it ended up being one of your best trips ever.
You were soaking up some sun, laying comfortable on a beach chair and occasionally sipping on the fruity drink Harry provided for you earlier, totally blissful as you enjoyed the moment.
That was until a muscular body that you knew too well blocked the sun for you.
“Enjoying yourself, gorgeous?” Harry asked, in his shirtless glory and wearing just some black swimming trucks.
“I was a few seconds ago,” you teased, “You know, before someone interrupted me.”
“Heyyyyy,” he used his topical fake hurt voice, “That’s not a nice way to talk to your husband.”
You smiled at this, feeling butterflies on your stomach as he called himself your husband.
It happened after the end of the tour and before his infamous haircut. Your weeding took place on your Italy villa and all your close friends and family were there to celebrate your love. It was a beautiful and intimate ceremony that everyone always would hold close to their hearts.
The public and fans still had no idea about it and you loved how much you were enjoying your marriage with that kind of privacy.
“That’s right, you’re my husband now,” you said as Harry squeezed himself next to you on the beach chair, “I can’t bully you like I used to.”
“Mr and Mrs Styles, come join us!” Jeff’s voice interrupted was Harry was about to reply and made you turn your heads his way, noticing that your friends were gathering around to watch the sunset.
“I think we’re good mate,” Harry replied sassily, “Don’t feel like sharing my wife right now.”
Your friends laughed at this, yelling some stuff like “you’re whipped!” and “she must be sick of you.
“You’re mean to them.” You joked, closing your eyes and leaning into him, feeling his hands rubbing up and down your back.
“They deserve it, they haven’t let me be alone with you all day,” he shrugged, making you roll your eyes and look up at him, holding his jaw and rubbing the stubbled skin of his chin, “Besides, an I mean for wanting to love on my wife?”
“You’re not,” you said, grazing his bottom lip with a smile on your face, “You drive your wife absolute mad.”
Harry smirked, throwing his head back at your words and grabbing your chin to kiss your lips.
“I love to hear you call yourself my wife,” he smiled widely, his eyes full of love and glee, “I still can’t believe we’re married, It’s the best thing that happened this year.”
You only smiled, connecting your lips again before Jeff’s voice interrupted you one more time,
“Seriously lovebirds, get in here. You already had your honeymoon!”
Harry groaned as he let go of your lips, standing up and facing your friends.
“Fine, we’ll join you,” he grabbed your hand to walk towards them, “Don’t you hate when lonely people ruin the moment for happy couples?” Harry said to you, making the entire group laugh.
“We’re literally married!” Glenne said, pointed to herself and Jeff.
Harry only shrugged with a smug face, sitting down beside Tommy and pulling you to his lap, laying his chin on your shoulder.
The sun sank lower, painting the sky pink and golden. Harry's arm was around your around your waist and he occasionally placed kisses on your shoulder as you engaged in conversation with your friends.
"This is perfect." You leaned back into him, whispering so only he could hear him, his heartbeat steady against your back and his breath hitting your neck.
"Absolutely perfect," Harry whispered back in agreement, his lips grazing your skin as he nestled closer.
You were starting the year at one of your favorite places, surrounded by your friends and as husband and wife, and you couldn't wait to see what 2024 had in store for your perfect life together

⋆ ˚。⋆౨ৎ˚ Property of Leo Valdez
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
content: leo valdez x daughter of poseidon! reader warning: major references to sexual stuff (like integral part of the story, folks), language, aged up for obvious reasons probs like 19-20 ish, author's note: i know for a fact I didn't completely come up with this concept myself. I saw a headcanon a few months ago that mentioned this idea and then i wrote it into a full fic bc i loved it so much. and I have since lost it, which is more than a little disappointing bc i would love to give credit where credit is due. if any of yall run into it, lemme know and i'll give them credit. anyways, i figured we could use a full fic in after all those hcs!! this was just collecting dust in my drafts so let's full send this baby.
leo and y/n weren’t really ones to follow the rules. it goes all the way back to their time on the argo ii. after coach hedge was gone and buford the table was put in charge, y/n had started to have really intense nightmares. like, wake-the-whole-ship-up-with-screams intense nightmares. she stopped sleeping in hopes of avoiding it. one night, she had been talking to leo, where she promptly passed out against his shoulder. it was the first peaceful night she’d had in a long time, they both knew that. so, y/n started spending her nights in leo’s room. it only took a little bit of rigging of buford to leave them alone. easy enough of a task for leo. it was a habit they couldn’t seem to break, slowly being unable to sleep without the other being in the same room.
it worked out just fine on the argo ii, but back at camp half-blood was different. chiron had noticed the closeness between the two and sat them down, reminding them of curfews and how campers of the opposite sex weren’t allowed in other cabins. he was basically letting them know he had his eyes on them. it scared the couple off for less than a week.
it started with them sleeping in bunker nine, figuring it to be a loophole. then, following a late night on the beach, y/n begged leo to spend the night with her in the poseidon cabin. he couldn’t say no to her puppy eyes, but he was slightly worried he was gonna drown on his own spit the whole night. they typically tried to avoid the hephaestus cabin whenever they could, too many of leo’s siblings around at all times. still, there were times in which percy wouldn’t let leo into the poseidon cabin, earning him a pillow to the back of his head from y/n. which is why they still frequented bunker nine, just like tonight. leo and y/n walked back to the poseidon cabin, only to be beaten by percy and annabeth, causing percy to guard the door with a small frown.
“sorry, coves, but we got here first,” he mused, to which y/n stuck her tongue out at the younger boy.
“i still hold seniority,” y/n whined, leaning into leo’s side as she crossed her arms.
“yeah, by like a few months,” percy argued back, rolling his eyes.
“so what?! that still counts!” y/n insisted, glaring at the younger boy.
“come on, coves, we’ll go,” leo interjected before the two actually started fighting, giving the girl a warm smile. she huffed, turning around to head to bunker nine before stopping right before percy closed the door. she bounded up the few steps, wrapping her arms around him in a quick hug.
“sleep well, dude,” she said, in hopes of clearing the air. she knew they weren’t actually fighting but she didn’t like going to bed with even a hint of a fight.
“you too,” he replied, giving her a squeeze and smile before heading into their cabin. y/n quickly caught up to leo, wrapping her hands around his arm as they snuck their way into the woods towards bunker nine.
it wasn’t too long of a walk, the time flying as they quietly laughed among themselves, enjoying the night so far. leo pushed the door open, gesturing for her to walk through in front of him. y/n patted his chest as she passed, heading towards the dorm area that was off the side of the main garage area. y/n was pulling her hair out of the braid it had been in all day, her hair naturally laying against her camp half-blood shirt. leo smiled at this, catching up and wrapping his hands around her waist from the back, laying his hands flat against her stomach and pressing his lips against her neck.
“what are you doing, valdez?” y/n breathed out, her breath hitching slightly as he gently sucked against her pulse point. she could feel the smirk of his lips against her skin, causing her smile to widen as well.
“hopefully? you,” he replied and y/n laughed, leaning back against him, allowing his hips to meet with her lower back. a groan left his lips at this action and y/n smirked before pulling away from his loose grip, putting an extra sway into her hips, just to piss him off.
“w-where are you going, cariño? Get back here,” leo argued, eyes snapping open as he followed after the girl. she turned a blind corner and he followed, just in time to catch her tugging her shirt off. she looked over her shoulder at him, walking backwards towards the bed in just her bra and denim shorts.
“what? did the repair boy lose his cool?” she mocked, tilting her head at him. leo shook his head, taking quick steps towards her and settling his hands against her waist, pulling her hips against his with a smirk.
“no, no. but, i’m gonna make you wish i had lost my cool,” he muttered in response, moving a hand up to cup the girl’s breast through her lace bra. a moan gets caught in her throat, y/n throwing her head back. he smirked, pulling her closer and planting kisses against her skin.
“leo,” she breathed out, a huff following as the boy unbuttoned her shorts and pulled the zipper down tantalizingly slowly. she shoved her hands under his shirt, running them over his lower abdomen, slowly lifting the shirt as her hands went higher. leo laughed lightly at her, pulling away from her marked skin as he grabbed the shirt and pulled it the rest of the way off, flinging it somewhere into the room. once the shirt was off, she smashed her lips against his, earning a shocked noise from the boy.
“y/n, gods,” he all but groaned, leaning forwards as she leaned back before they plopped down onto the bed. y/n laughed, looking up at leo as she breathed in heavily. he was using his arms to keep himself from completely putting his body weight on her.
“you look so good under me, baby,” leo whispered and y/n smiled up at him, gently setting a hand against his cheek.
“i gotta admit, the view’s pretty good from down here, too,” she replied back, leo breathing out a laugh before closing the distance between them once more. this ended a few hours later, the pair a tangled mess of limbs under the covers, leo’s body curled around y/n’s. the next morning, leo was jolted awake by a loud banging in the bunker, the boy hazily looking out the door leading to the room, being met by festus, who puffed smoke out of his metallic nostrils. leo huffed, sitting up and glaring over at the metal dragon, but ensuring that y/n was completely covered.
“festus, dude, keep the noise down. didn’t get much sleep last night,” leo yawned, glaring over at the dragon before glancing at the nearby alarm clock, instantly waking up as he saw the time.
“shit. y/n, honey, you gotta wake up,” leo muttered, gently but also rapidly trying to wake the sleeping girl. y/n tried to ignore him, attempting to nuzzle into the sheets. normally, leo’d just let her sleep in but he couldn’t today. he took another panicked glance at the clock before reaching onto the bedside time and grabbing the water bottle he kept there for safety reasons. just in case y/n ever got hurt in the bunker, he’d have a way to make it go away. he unscrewed the cap before dumping it on her, the girl shooting up with a gasp before glaring over at him.
“leonidas samuel valdez! you’re dead to me!” she screamed, flicking the water that she could off onto him.
“yeah, you can thank me when you’re not late to training with the hermes cabin,” leo barked back, jumping out of the bed and tugging on a pair of jeans. y/n leaned over, looking at the clock before her face went pale.
“shit.” “that’s what i said. Get dressed,” leo stated, throwing her an orange shirt before he scrambled to a wardrobe and pulled out a shirt for himself, rapidly doing the buttons.
“no, like, i’m gonna be in serious shit, leo. fuck me,” y/n whined, pulling the shirt on and pushing the neckline off to one side as it was baggy before reaching for a pair of shorts that she left a few weeks ago, refusing to put the ones from last night on.
“already did, baby, that’s how we got here,” leo muttered back, earning him a smack to the back of his head as she ran past, tugging on her shoes as she went.
“ow!” he called after her, grabbing his belt and resting it against his waist as he glared after her, the girl flipping her hair so she could put it in a high ponytail.
“you earned that one, hot head,” she bit out, tying her hair up and making to sprint out the door before turning back and giving the boy a rushed kiss against his lips.
“sorry. i had fun last night and while this sucks, i wouldn’t trade last night for anything,” she told him, offering a quick smile before moving to leave.
“me too. but, uh, y/n?” leo called, rubbing a hand on the back of his neck.
“what?” she asked, hopping as she tied the laces on one shoe. “put your hair down. you have, uh, a few…” leo trailed off, gesturing to his own neck in reference. y/n groaned, pointing back at the boy with one hand while the other pulled her hair down.
“back on the naughty list, valdez,” she shouted, sprinting out of the bunker before leo could stop her again. and he truly did try, noticing his fatal mistake as the girl spun around. it wasn’t her shirt he’d thrown to her, but rather one of the extras he kept around for himself. he mainly kept it as a throw away shirt to wear while he worked, something he didn’t mind rubbing grease all over. it was old and well loved, which is why the neckline was so saggy. and proudly printed on the back in his handwriting were the words ‘property of leo valdez.’ initially meant as a way to keep his grabby siblings away from his shirts, but now its meaning made leo’s heart soar and cringe at the same time. man, he was in for a big lecture when she noticed.
“sorry i’m late, just caught up doing stuff,” y/n huffed as she ran into the archery area, quickly picking up a bow and quiver of arrows. she spun around and squinted her eyes at the hermes kids before zeroing in on the stoll brothers. she jutted her hip out and gave them a pointed look.
“what?” “does ‘stuff’ go by the name of leo?” connor asked, causing the rest of the hermes kids to burst into laughter. that was quickly interrupted by an arrow grazing the boy’s shirt, ripping a clean hole next to his ribs. connor looked up, mouth dropped and eyes wide as he was met with y/n, still holding her bow towards him, a new arrow notched.
“wanna try again?” she asked, raising an eyebrow at the boy. connor swallowed thickly before shaking his head. y/n lowered her bow, rolling her eyes.
“thank you. now, let’s get started, yeah? unless anyone has any last smartass comments they’d like to share with the class?” y/n dug in, crossing her arms, scouring the crowd for a moment before allowing a smile to grace her lips as she clapped her hands together, “Great! now, who wants to learn how i hit connors shirt without hitting him?”
the hermes kids were quick to learn and the lesson finished fast, leaving y/n to clean up. she was unsticking the arrows from the hay bales and thought back on the hermes kids. she figured maybe the shirt had grease on it or something that she couldn’t see. y/n began making her way towards her cabin in hopes of changing into a new shirt when she ran into percy, who immediately did a double take upon seeing his sister's shirt.
“you’re joking,” percy bit out in shock, staring at his sister with a rage she had never seen directed at her before. y/n jumped at his voice, pressing a hand to her chest.
“what?! why so much attitude, this is literally the first time i’ve seen you today-” y/n argued, pushing her hair out of her face while she tried to catch her breath.
“nope. nope. let’s go, y/n, now,” percy insisted, grabbing the girl by her shirt and dragging her towards the forge. he was muttering curses under his breath and y/n was so confused, trying to get him to let go of the shirt.
“percy?! what the hades! let go-” y/n shouted as he finally let go, the girl stumbling to stay up right as they were at the doors to the forge, catching the attention of all the hephestus kids in there. leo turned his head too, before wincing at the sight before him.
“this better be a fucking joke, valdez. start laughing or i start stabbing,” percy growled and leo held his hands out, trying to sooth percy.
“look, i thought it was her shirt! i didn’t know which one it was, i’ve got so many of those damn shirts! it was honestly an accident. come on, percy,” leo insisted, taking small steps away as percy walked forwards. y/n’s brows furrowed more as she looked down at the shirt, not seeing anything wrong with it.
“you let my sister walk around with that shit on her back!? i’m gonna kill you,” percy argued, pointing back at y/n, who’s head tilted. leo shrunk even more, swallowing thickly.
“she still doesn’t know?” he asked, his voice pitchy. percy then spun around to his sister too, eyes wide.
“what- wait a second-” y/n huffed before taking one of the nearby shields and setting it up, using the metal as a sort of mirror. the two watched her read it and she looked back at leo with a gaze he couldn’t quite read. then, she burst into laughter, tears quickly pooling in her eyes as she clutched her stomach. percy and leo shared a glance, equally confused.
“uh, baby? you’re-…you’re not mad?” leo questioned, tilting his head at her. y/n wiped away some of her tears, still trying to catch her breath.
“no, i am,” she replied, still giggling a bit, “but- i almost made connor stoll look like a pincushion over this shirt.”
“so you’re fine with that being advertised?” percy asked, crossing his arms with a frown. y/n was finally calming down and she rolled her eyes at him, still smiling though.
“i mean, the shirt’s not wrong,” she shrugged, patting his shoulder as she walked past. she then poked a finger into leo’s chest, now frowning at him.
“though, if you ever let me walk out in this shirt again, i’m throwing you in the lake. Got it?” “yes, ma’am.” “damn straight. now, i’ve got to go change then get lunch. i’ll see ya boys,” y/n said, pressing a kiss to leo’s cheek before walking off. once she was far enough away, percy smacked leo’s chest, causing the boy to keel over.
“what was that for??” “dunno. i’ll tell you when i find a reason,” percy shrugged, walking away.
the day carried on. leo was quick to find y/n before lunch, pressing kisses after kisses to her cheek as an apology. y/n eventually pushed him off with a laugh as they walked into the dining pavilion. they got their plates together but parted ways since they had to sit with their cabins. y/n pulled her hair back, eyeing the honey on her sandwich since she didn’t want it in her hair. percy started speaking as she sat down, yet to look at her though.
“so, i was thinking maybe we should do a movie night-” he stopped as he looked up, his eyes catching on the hickeys that littered his sisters neck, his eyes twitching. the neck of her shirt was cut off, allowing it to slip off her shoulder and her hair was tied back, allowing him to see all of them. y/n looked up as he stopped speaking before following his gaze. her eyes widened and she jumped out of her seat.
“percy-” “three,” he started, calmly wiping his hands and pushing his seat back. y/n yelps before moving towards the hephestus table, quickly gaining leo and everyone else’s attention too.
“we’ve got to go. now! move it, fire boy!” y/n insisted, grabbing hold of his arm and tugging him up.
“what-” leo argued, letting her drag him though.
“two,” percy continued, pulling his pen out of his pocket, inspecting it like he had all the time in the world. leo’s eyes widened as they landed on y/n’s neck then twisted back to percy.
“yeah, running’s a good idea. Go, Go, Go!” he agreed, quickly taking the girl with him.
“one,” percy muttered before jumping up and chasing after the couple.
“i’m gonna kill you! it’s gonna be painful! you’re gonna wish you never met her!” he yelled after them.
“never!” leo shouted back with a laugh, dragging the girl behind him.

Worried Thoughts
Mihawk x gn!reader
Summary: he thinks you’re afraid of him, but really you feel more comfortable here than anywhere else. If only you could figure out how to explain that.
Content: fluffy cozy piece. Just a hint of romance. Reader is autistic.
Warnings: reader is somewhat insecure about their autistic traits.
A/N: Couldn’t get this idea out of my head, so I’m sharing with all of you. It’s been a long time since I wrote any fanfic so I might do more, I might not, we’ll see. Story is based on live action Mihawk with some inspiration from the little bit I know about the anime. Enjoy!
—————
He’s frustrated with you.
He doesn’t let it show. Mihawk is too controlled for that, too stoic. Besides, you’ve come to learn the look of casual disdain he wears is for everyone, not just you.
But he’s still frustrated with you.
You can see it in the little things. The slight furrow of his brow. The way he watches you over his book. The long, drawn out sips of wine.
It’s the things you’ve learned to look for after a lifetime of having to watch and analyze and try so hard to fit in. A lifetime of trying to be normal.
Around Mihawk though? You don’t feel that need so much.
It’s why you let your eyes drift away from his intense, piercing gaze. It’s why, though you’re still afraid to let yourself stim too much or let too much excitement shine through when a special interest topic comes up, you do let yourself chew on your lip. And sometimes, when you catch yourself rocking because the silence is just a little too much, you don’t make yourself stop.
But still, he doesn’t quite understand it. He thinks you’re afraid of him.
You should be. Honestly you’re not sure why you aren’t. He’s the worlds greatest swordsman. He’s probably the most powerful person in all the seas. He wears that power like a cloak, holds himself in a way that warns people to step away. Step back.
You saw it in the village last week, when he had you sail with him to a nearby island so you could help pick up supplies. Folk recognized him and feared him.
To be honest, you thought he would leave you behind there. After all, he has no reason to keep sheltering you. It’s been a month since you washed up on the beach of his own gloomy island, a month since you barely evaded the monsters that live there and found your way to his door.
He let you stay, and you figured it was because of how pathetic you looked at the moment. A shipwrecked survivor on the brink of death, looking more like a drowned rat than a human.
It’s not that you’re actually pathetic. You’re not weak. Or at least not too much so. Honestly, you can hold your own against most folk back home, and you know how to sail a small ship just fine. Or at least, you thought you did.
That storm wounded your pride and has you questioning your seafaring skills.
The point is, you can take care of yourself overall. Though, you quickly learned after you first set sail a few years back that being the best in your village means nothing when so many folk out there are as powerful as gods. Competent or not, you’re nothing compared to the great warlord.
So why did he let you stay? Why was it, when you were getting ready to turn and walk away after setting foot on the village island, he handed you a small crate of supplies and said to not fall behind? Why was it he let you get back on his ship and sail all the way back here with him?
You haven’t asked him yet, because you’re a little afraid that maybe he’ll change his mind. You’ve come to like your life on this isolated island.
But you’re getting away from yourself again. Letting your thoughts drift. It’s been a week since that village visit and now you still sit within Mihawk’s vast and rather chilly castle, hyperaware of his piercing gaze digging into your head.
“You don’t need to be so afraid of me.”
His voice makes you jump, and you realize that you’ve been rocking where you sit as you stare at the book in your lap.
“I’m not,” you manage. “I…”
Your eyes latch onto the book. You’ve been reading it for a couple of days, but you’re having trouble focusing today. Whenever you look at the words, it makes you think about how yesterday you launched into a long analysis of the adventure genre and how it really is such a shame that people don’t appreciate this book as much, since even though it was one of the first of its type there’s been so many books that have built on it since that now it seems almost predictable.
Mihawk didn’t seem bothered at the time, but now you look back at it and you’re sure he must’ve been annoyed, or at the very least bored. You’re still kicking yourself for not taking the time to check his expression when you went on that endless monologue.
“You act afraid.”
You take a quick peek out the corner of your eye, watching as he casually sips from his wine glass. Firelight flickers across his face, lighting up those vivid eyes and casting a golden hue across his dark hair. He’s not looking at you anymore, but you know that he’s still aware of everything you do.
When you find your attention catching on his chiseled chest, you quickly force your gaze away.
“You are a warlord,” you say, trying to be teasing.
“An astute observation.”
“I’m not afraid of you though.” You close your book and with it close your eyes, trying to find the right words. Trying to get them all untangled. “I… I just don’t like eye contact. With anyone.”
“I see. That is reasonable.”
It’s not the response you expected. You’re used to people judging you when they learn how are you are. You’re used to people underestimating you and assuming the worst.
You glance back up at Mihawk, then quickly away to the fireplace instead. “I’m not very good with people,” you continue, “It’s not that I don’t like them, but I don’t always understand the rules of society and stuff. And I don’t always do things the way other folk do.”
When you peek back, he’s lifted a single eyebrow. You blush. Surely he’s already noticed that. Surely you’re being silly as you explain the obvious.
“The rules of society do tend to be rather boring.”
The way he says it, so straightforward as if it makes all the sense in the world… you feel relieved giggle bubble out of you.
“I suppose you really aren’t afraid of me then,” he says, just the slightest twitch forming a smile at the corners of his lips. He tilts his head slightly, then adds. “I was thinking about your theory yesterday. It was… Intriguing.”
Something flutters in your chest. A feeling that you never really thought you’d have for somebody so dangerous. Joy. Excitement. Perhaps even some infatuation, if you’re being honest with yourself.
His castle might be vast and chilly, but it’s also comfortable. And you’ve come to truly enjoy these times where you sit together in front of the fireplace, simply existing near each other. You’ve come to enjoy just being around him.
“Would… would you like to talk about it more?” You can’t help the hope that creeps into your tone.
“That would be pleasant.”
And so, you finally let that wall down just a little further. You let yourself start talking without holding back, let yourself feel comfortable.
When he rises from his chair and walks to stand closer to your own, his hand just barely brushing your shoulder, you let yourself feel a little bit at home.

"Quit pushing!"
"But you're in my space!"
"If you guys don't behave, I will turn this car around!"
The squabbling in the back seat cut short as Leon glares you.
He leans over and flicks your arm when you’re not looking; you hiss at the sting, smacking him on the forearm in retaliation.
"Leon," his dad warningly calls out from the driver’s seat, looking at him through the rear view mirror.
"What?" he glares at you still, rubbing the smarting skin, "she literally started it, I was just paying her back.”
"Yeah, but you know better," his dad sighs before moving his attention to you, “please let’s all just get along and enjoy our day.”
You smile, “Of course,” turning your attention to Leon you bat your eyelashes, “I am so sorry, big brother.”
"Whatever," he rolls his eyes, flipping you off once his dad turns back to the road.
Your mom claps her hands, “Look alive kids, we’re here!”
"Finally," Leon breaths out, opening the passenger door and slipping out once his dad parks the car.
Everyone piles out of the vehicle and makes their way to the back hatch. Your stepdad opens it and pulls out the coolers holding food and drinks.
"Here make yourself useful,” Leon sneers as he shoves a tote full of towels and sunblock into your arms.
Your mom pats you on the back, “I got the beach umbrella so we’ll go find a spot!”
You stick your tongue out at Leon and turn along with your mom to walk along the boardwalk to the sandy beach below. It doesn’t take long to find a decent spot, staking down the umbrella and tossing the beach blanket down onto the sand. Leon sets down the coolers near the side while his dad hands out the beach chairs to be setup.
Once everything is in order, you sit back on your haunches with a sigh. Rooting around through your own bag, you grab a few things and stand up.
“I’m heading over to the changing rooms,” you jerk your thumb behind you, to the wooden building, “shouldn’t take long.”
Your mom nods, “Okay, make sure to lock the door. Actually Leon, walk with her. You never know these days.”
You roll your eyes and walk backwards, “I’m totally fine mom, you can see the building from here.”
Leon’s dad nods at him, “Just maybe walk over that way with her and if it seems fine just mosey on back.”
Leon smirks at you, “You heard’em, little sis.”
He gets up from the blanket and walks over to you; spinning you around, he gives you a gentle push to walk forward.
“I don’t need the help,” you snip at him, elbowing his side so there’s more space between you.
“Hey I’m just following orders. Besides,” he leans more into your space with a leer, “maybe I just wanted to see what kinda bathing suit you picked out.”
You roll your eyes, tamping down the heat that washes over you from his words.
“Whatever, perv,” you climb the wooden steps and find an empty room.
Hesitating, you look back at Leon before stepping inside, “Are you going to be out here?”
His arms are crossed as he leans against the banister, a deadpan expression in his face.
“Unless you want me in there with you, yeah I’ll be out here.”
Nodding, you completely step into the changing room and shut the door. It’s pretty nondescript but just something about it is giving you the ick. A low noise comes from behind the wall, probably just from someone changing in the next room.
You tug your shirt off, already wearing a bathing top underneath— you just wanted to swap it for the more colorful one you brought along. A weird sound next door has you jumping in place.
“Leon?”
“Yeah?” you can hear his muffled voice on the other side of the door.
Another raspy noise comes from the other side of the wall giving you goosebumps. You swing your door open and gesture him inside. His mouth opens, probably about to make fun of you, when the look on your face cuts him short.
He enters the changing room with you, keeping quiet as you hold your finger up to your lips. The strange noise happens again but louder, making you press into Leon’s side, hands gripping onto his thin tee shirt until your knuckles blanch.
You both stand still, ears cocked and listening as that weird noise happens again. Leon reaches out and raps his hand hard on the wall. The noise stops and you both hear something scurry away from the wall.
“Don’t change in here. We can go to the car,” Leon whispers to you, eyes serious, “definitely gonna report this to whoever’s on duty. Fucking creep.”
“Leon,” you whisper back, relief making tears prick your lash line, “thank you.”
“Hey, of course,” he murmurs softly, warm palms coming up to cup your jaw, “you’re okay. I won’t let anything happen to you, promise.”
You nod in his hold, pressing into his body even further. Your hands come up to wind in his hair and pull him down. He takes the hint and presses your lips together, kissing you softly.
Leon pushes until your back is flat against the wall, never breaking his kiss.
“You’re my girl,” he growls as he kisses a hot trail to your ear, tongue dipping inside, “no one gets to see you but me.”
“Leon,” you whimper, tugging on his hair as he nips at your neck before kissing down to your clavicle.
“Wish I could do more right now,” he murmurs into your skin, dragging his mouth down to the swell of your breasts in your bathing suit top, “just gonna get a little taste and we’ll head back, okay?”
Nodding, you have no idea what you’re agreeing to, when Leon noses the fabric covering one of your breasts over until he can suck your nipple easily into his hot mouth.
“Just a taste, princess,” he whispers, moving over to the other hard bud and suckling.
He keeps you pressed to the wall as he lathes and sucks on your nipples until they’re hard and swollen. Your bathing suit bottoms are soaked with slick when he finally pulls back, eyes dark and heated.
He slips his fingers under your top and pulls it upright, letting go with a snap. You cry out from the sting on your puffy nipples as your top now covers them.
“C’mon, we need to head back before they come looking.”
“But..”
He grins at you, teeth gleaming, “What is it? Is my little sis feeling needy?”
You nod your head, “Please, big brother, I’m so wet.”
His fingers dip beneath the band of your shorts and bottoms to glide across your slippery clit. You cry out and bury your face in his chest.
“Oh? She is,” he coos, “she needs me so bad huh, princess?”
He dips his head lower, whispering filth in your ear and making you rock against his fingers as they circle your pudgy clit.
“Mmm I’d love to get on my knees and kiss your pretty pussy all over,” he licks the shell of your ear, “she loves getting kissed by big brother, always so fucking wet after I makeout with your cunt, isn’t that right?”
“Uh huh,” you whine, “feels good. Big brother makes my pussy so wet.”
“Fuck,” he grits out, fingers circling and pinching your clit over and over, “when we get home, I’m pushing you down and railing your little princess pussy, got that? I’m gonna use you all fucking night, so you’ll just have to keep that hole wet and ready for me. Can you do that for big brother, huh?“
“Yes, yes, please, want that,” you slur, thighs tensing as your orgasm winds tighter in your belly, “want big brother to fill me up.”
“Don’t worry, I will,” he laughs meanly, “you can only get off if I’m creaming in this tight cunt anyways.”
You whine and hump down into his fingers, “Love it, love getting your creampies.”
“God damn, princess,” his fingers slide across your clit roughly, “cum for me, get my fingers soaking wet.”
“Oh, Leon, I’m—“
You shudder in his arms, muffling your moans in his shirt as you shake apart on his fingers. Riding out the soft tremors, Leon finally slips his hand away and laps up the clear slick webbing across his fingers.
“So fucking juicy,” he growls, free hand coming up to twist one of your nipples making you whine, “can’t wait til we get home.”
He kisses you one last time before opening the door, letting you leave first. You both look around but luckily the whole area is deserted. He gives you a little push toward the stairs.
“Go catch up with them, I’m gonna look around for whoever’s in charge and file that report.”
You watch Leon’s broad back as he walks around the corner and warmth flutters in your chest as you make your way back over to your mom and stepdad.
“Finally, thought you two got lost,” your mom smiles, patting the blanket, “let me put sunblock on your back and shoulders and you can skedaddle.”
Your stepdad looks over at you and then glances around, “Where’d Leon get off to?”
“He said he’d be back, needed to do something.”
He nods and goes back to his book. Your mom finishes up with the sunblock and puts it back in her bag.
“Make sure to drink plenty of water.”
“I know, mom,” you roll your eyes good naturedly, “I’m gonna go wade for a bit, see if I can find any cool shells.”
“Have fun,” she plops her big sun hat on her head and lays out on the blanket.
You wander down the beach until your toes meet the small waves kissing the shore. Wading out into the warm water, you take in all the people. It’s really nice and peaceful even with all the racket; easy to let it fade into the background with the sound of the ocean echoing in your ears.
“You wanna build a sand castle?”
Leon’s voice behind you makes you jump, quickly turning to face him.
“You serious?” you squint at him, still feeling out of depth with the whole fiasco earlier.
“Yeah, let’s go build one,” his eyes are something else with the ocean reflecting off the already prismatic blue, “I know where the good sand is.”
You smile, reaching your hand out to see if he’ll take it. Surprisingly, he does. He leads you back away from the water but not too far in order to reach the ‘better sand’.
"This is a lot of fun," you murmur, brushing shoulders with Leon as you try to dig out a moat.
"Yeah even if you’re complete shit at it,” he smirks, side eyeing you.
"Hey," you push his shoulder, leaving a damp hand print on his shirt, "I’ve made like three sandcastles in my life, so lay off.”
"Doesn’t matter,” Leon shrugs then laughs, “I'm going to absolutely destroy this when we're done.”
You frown, "But why?"
“It’ll just wash out with the tide otherwise.”
You roll your eyes, “Such a dork. Think I might go for a swim since it’s gotten hotter just sitting here.”
"I'll go with you," he stands up and slips his shirt off making your mouth feel dry, "don’t want you to drown while my back is turned”
You mock salute him while trying not to stare at his chest, "Aye, aye, captain."
Leon ruffles your hair, "Last one in the water is a rotten egg."
He takes off running with you right behind him.
“You’re such a cheater! You didn’t even countdown!”
"Snooze ya lose, princess,” he laughs, splashing into the ocean before whirling on you and grabbing you around you waist.
“Hold your breath,” he murmurs hotly in your ear before he’s pulling you under with him.
You’re not under long and Leon brings you both back up to the surface with you holding onto his biceps for dear life.
“You’re such a jerk!” you yell, salt water running into your eyes making them sting, “I’m going to murder you!”
“Like to see you try,” he laughs loudly, faking like he’s going to dunk you before yanking you back to his chest.
Your hands wrap around his neck while your legs wrap around his waist, squeaking as he fakes dipping you both under again.
“You’re so mean,” you pout as he wraps his hands around your hips.
“What else is new, princess,” he laughs, shaking the water from his hair.
He eases out a little further, holding you in his arms as he treads water.
“Can’t wait to get home,” he murmurs, kissing your neck.
“Leon,” you whine, “anyone can see us.”
“Yeah? We’re too far off for them to know what’s happening. Just kiss me, little sis.”
You sigh as he places more soft kisses on your neck.
“You got me?”
Giving him a puzzled look, you nod, “Yeah…”
He slowly lets go of your hips and once you stay buoyant, he grins.
“Since the waters up to our shoulders,” he smirks, hands coming up to grope and squeeze your breasts, “I’m gonna have some fun.”
“No, don’t,” you squirm, but don’t let go; letting him touch you like this is exciting.
“Aww, you’re so cute when you’re lying.”
He pulls the cups of your bathing top down exposing your breasts to his greedy hands. Pulling and tugging on your nipples has you rocking into him with a moan.
“Leon,” you keen, head laying against his shoulder, “we’re gonna get caught.”
“Fuck,” he groans, pinching your nipples extra hard, “I’d love that, love to see someone know that you’re getting off on big brother playing with your sexy tits.”
You whimper and press your chest harder into his hands, “Gonna get in trouble.”
“No we won’t,” he chuckles, letting his fingers tease across the swell of your breasts and circle your hard buds, “‘long as you can sit pretty and take it, I’ll play with these cute fucking tits the rest of the day.”
That visual alone makes you rut against his chubbed cock with a moan.
“Like that?” he laughs and pinches your nipples too hard making you squeal.
“Think you can cum like this? Rubbing that hot pussy all on me while I suck on your nipples?” his voice rumbles in your ear
“Uh huh,” you shudder nails digging into his back.
“So hot,” he turns his back to the beach and shifts you up higher so can dip his head and latch onto a swollen bud.
You lose track of time, letting Leon suckle and bite at your nipples til they’re puffy and sore as you rub off on him, cumming twice before he even pulls away.
“Probably need to go back in,” his voice is hoarse while his eyes are nearly dilated black, “been out here for awhile.”
Your brain is total slush at this point and you agree wholeheartedly.
“Thirsty,” you mutter into his neck as he fixes your top.
“There’s water in the cooler,” he double checks to make sure you’re both presentable before wading back to the beach.
Once the water’s waist high you drop your legs and walk next to him, pushing your shaking muscles to keep you up. Once you get back to the blanket, your mom is reading and your step dad’s conked out with sunglasses on his face.
You smile and flop down next to Leon who hands you a cold water.
“Thank you,” you keep your voice low.
He shrugs and cracks open his water and drinks it in like two seconds.
“You kids about ready to go?”
Your mom’s voice sounds sleepy.
“Seems like you two are,” you tease making her laugh and she taps your stepdad’s arm.
He jostles awake with a snort making you giggle as Leon grins.
“We’re ready to go honey,” your mom kisses his cheek.
“Of course,” he stretches and yawns, “Leon you feel like loading up?”
“Can do,” he stands up and starts bundling things in his arms.
You stand and start collecting the little things he doesn’t have the hands for; you both walk over to your mom’s SUV and Leon sets his stuff down and grabs your armload.
“Go grab them and the blanket and we should be set.”
“You don’t want—“
“I got it,” he pushes you with a shit eating grin on his face, “trust me.”
You squint at him suspiciously but listen and go grab your parents and the folded up beach blanket.
When you get back, you see Leon somehow finagled the beach stuff in such a way that you end up sitting in his lap on the drive home cause there just isn’t enough room otherwise.
His dad pokes fun at him, “Must’ve gotten too much sun eh son?”
Leon rolls his eyes as he tugs you onto his lap in the third row seating, “Like I haven’t heard that before.”
Your mom laughs, “Well just make sure to be safe back there.”
“Will do,” you and Leon chime in at the same time making her laugh again.
As soon as your stepdad leaves the parking lot, Leon’s hands are under your shirt plucking and tweaking your overstimulated nipples. You twist in his lap, placing your legs on either side of his seat, facing him to eagerly makeout. It’s not long before you’re grinding against his bulge.
He fishes his dick out, grabbing your hand and guiding you to jerk him off.
“That’s it,” he whispers, “stroke it. Fuck wish I was in your mouth.”
“Me too,” you kiss him sloppily as he pinches your nipples hard.
“Y’wanna suck big brother off? Mmm but our parents would hear it wouldn’t they? That tight throat choking on me.”
“Mmhmm, I’d gag so much,” your hand eagerly strokes his dick, “you’re just too big for my mouth.”
“But not for that pussy”, he growls, moving one hand from your nipples to slide under the leg of your shorts and swim bottoms to tease along your slit.
You have to kiss him to stop the moan from giving you both away.
Once he pulls back, Leon smirks at you, “Gotta keep quiet or they’ll find out what a slut you are.”
You pout, “Just feels so good.”
“Let me stick it in,” he whispers in your ear, “just let me slip the tip in, ‘m so hard it hurts, princess.”
“Just the tip,” you agree, slipping your shorts and bottoms off.
He pulls the foreskin back on his fat tip to spank against your clit making you bite your lip hard. Pressing into your soaked cunt, the head stretches you open making you sigh.
“Don’t you want the rest?” he coos sarcastically.
“You said just the tip,” you mumble against his mouth.
Leon listens for about half a minute before he grabs your hips and forces you to sink down. Force is a strong word as you easily go along with it.
“So bad, taking me all the way into this tiny pussy,” he teases, mouth pressed against your ear, “making me stretch you out on my cock like you just can’t help it, princess.”
You rock down on him muffling your sounds by pressing your face into his chest. Your body is ramped up and ready for another orgasm easily, the coil of arousal tight in your belly already.
“Mmm, sucking me in,” he hisses, hands digging into the meat of your hips hard, “been fucking edged all day, so this is gonna be messy, princess. Cute pussy’s bout to be filled to the brim.”
You lift your head and let your hazy eyes meet his making him curse under his breath.
“You’re cockdrunk,” he laughs meanly, “gonna make me cum cause a’your needy fucking face.”
He grinds up harshly into your fluttering walls as his thumb swipes over your hot, swollen clit.
“Want it, big brother,” you whimper, eyes teary as your orgasm begins to reach its peak, “please, want you to cum inside me.”
“You’re getting a nice load princess don’t worry,” his grip on your hip keeps you in place as he ruts into your pussy and circles your clit with his thumb, “squeeze me, squeeze down on my cock and I’ll give you want you want.”
You kiss him messily, tongue licking into his smirking mouth as your climax shakes your body to pieces. You feel as your pussy tightens down on his cock so hard it must hurt but Leon likes it if his groan’s anything to go by. Your fluttering walls milk his cock as he ruts up one last time and spills inside your clenching pussy.
You pull away from his mouth, both of you panting against each others lips, just sharing the same space as you cum together.  His cock kicks and throbs as sticky jizz fills your cunt, hot rope after rope of cum shooting from his fat tip.
Your pussy pulses and clamps rhythmically, aftershocks making your thighs shake as your hands grip onto the upholstery of the seat.
“Hope you’re not too tired,” he grins, “told you I’m gonna rail you when we get home and I still mean it.”
You rock down on him with a mewl, “Can’t wait, big brother.”

Summary: Jake and his wife enjoy a beach day with their three kids.
Master List
Tumblr media
With the spring heat settling over Miramar, the Seresin family made their way down to the beach. Jake had the day off and intended to spend the full day with his family. Especially because he was probably going to be sent on deployment at some point relatively soon.
The beach was mostly full of surfboarders and a few small groups, so the Seresin family had their pick of the patches of sand. And unsurprisingly, little JJ—Javier Jacob—Seresin, the eldest of the Seresin bunch, marched ahead of his parents, leading his way through the sand to a spot of his choice.
“Right here?” Jake asked JJ after he tossed his toys down on a patch of sand.
“Yeah,” JJ agreed, pointing at the sand. He tossed his toys on the ground, claiming the area for the Seresin family. JJ barely let his parents set down their bags and get his siblings in order before he turned to the waves. "Can we go to the water?”
“Not without me,” Jake stated firmly, leaving no room for argument. “Remember, you can’t go into the water without Mommy or Daddy.”
“And you need some sunscreen too,” Jake’s wife called, pulling out the sunscreen. “Come here, JJ.”
JJ pouted a bit, but he eventually trotted over to his mom, who was in the middle of applying sunblock to his little brother, Charlie, who was far less antsy than JJ to get to the water. Charlie was by far the most cautious of the Seresin siblings, taking after his mom more. JJ, on the other hand, dove into everything head first.
And that was why Jake wasn’t going to let him anywhere near the water without supervision.
Once Charlie and JJ had their sunblock on, Jake turned to his wife and held out the tub of sunscreen. Wiggling his eyebrows suggestively, he turned around for her.
“Don’t be afraid to really get in there, Mrs. Seresin.”
“Oh, don’t worry. I’ll make sure I cover every inch, Mr. Seresin.”
And, well, Jake’s wife wasn’t going to complain about getting to touch her husband. Even if they had to be a bit subdued because of the publicity and children present. Three kids definitely took their toll on their own shared intimacy, so they managed to morph into horny teenagers whenever they could actually get their hands on each other.
Once she covered his back in a layer of sunscreen, Jake turned around for her to get his chest. He could have easily done it himself, but neither of the two of them were complaining. Locking eyes, Jake’s wife bit her lip to fight a smirk as she teased the patch of skin right above his swim trunks.
“Careful, Mrs. Seresin. There are little eyes around,” Jake replied, as if he wasn’t leaning into her touch. He leaned down and rested his forehead against her own. “But there won’t be later.”
“All set,” Jake’s wife stated, giving him a love pat on his ass. “You’re dismissed, boys.”
Jake snuck a kiss from his wife before bending down to help his two sons with their puddle jumpers. With both boys safe in their floatation gear, Jake scooped Charlie up and into his arms and took JJ by the hand to lead him down to the waves.
“Call if you need anything,” Jake replied, glancing over at the still sleeping baby.
“We’ll be fine. Have fun, babies!” Jake’s wife cooed to her sons. “Be good for Daddy!”
“We will!”
“Don’t feel obligated to follow your own advice,” Jake winked, earning a look from his wife.
“Shoo,” she laughed, waving her hand. “Go to the water. Or JJ’s going to run away from you.”
Jake headed down to the water while his wife took shelter in the shade of the small umbrella that Jake set up when they arrived. Baby Evelyn Seresin was peacefully sleeping in her carrier. Jake once remarked that Evelyn could sleep through just about anything and it looked like she was keeping up that streak. Settling into her chair, Jake’s wife turned to the water to watch her boys.
JJ was running around in the waves, giggling and screaming as he kicked at the water. Charlie was still on his dad’s hip, staring at the water with clear distrust. Jake was obviously trying to encourage him to touch the water, but he wasn’t successful. Reading her book for a bit, Jake’s wife suddenly looked up when her daughter stirred. She picked her daughter up and into her arms to settle her.
“I know, I know,” Jake’s wife cooed, patting her daughter’s back. “Come on, let’s go see your brothers and your dad, huh?”
Slowly getting up from her chair, Jake’s wife made her way down to the waves with her baby resting against her chest. Evelyn was only a few months old, but it took absolutely no time whatsoever for her to get the three Seresin boys completely and utterly wrapped around her dainty little finger.
“Hey, look who woke up,” Jake called when he spotted his girls. He leaned over to press a kiss to his wife’s lips and then his daughter’s head. “Want to go for a little dip, Evie?”
With practiced maneuvers, Jake took Evelyn while his wife took Charlie into her arms—the Daddy’s Girl and Mama’s Boy. Charlie happily clutched onto his mom, who he knew wouldn’t force him to touch the cold, dark waves. And Evie picked up her head just a bit to blink at her dad.
“Hi, Princess. How’re you feeling?” Jake cooed, rubbing her back.
While his wife turned to entertain JJ, Jake carefully squatted down as the waves trickled up again. He kept a solid grip on his daughter, but lowered her little feet down to the water. Evelyn let out a noise when the water brushed against her toes, but she didn’t cry or complain. And when she started to kick at the water, Jake couldn’t help but laugh.
“There you go, baby girl. Look at you! You’re going to be a swimmer, I know it,” Jake praised his daughter, pressing a set of kisses to her head.
When the sun drew higher in the sky and the beach started to grow full, the Seresin family made their way home for lunch and nap time. Working as a team, Jake and his wife got all three kids cleaned up, fed lunch, and down for their naps.
“Are the boys asleep?” Jake whispered to his wife as he stepped out of the nursery.
“They knocked out the second that their heads touched their pillows,” she mused, chuckling lightly. “I think that we tired them out. What about Evie?”
“She’s sound asleep,” Jake reported, closing the door carefully.
“I think that we have some time,” Jake’s wife stated suggestively, smiling at her husband.
“Lead the way, Mrs. Seresin,” Jake replied, matching his wife’s smile.
Grabbing each other’s hand, the Seresins hurried down the hallway to their shared bedroom. A quick joint shower and change of clothes later, the sound of snoring echoed down the hallway. Jake laid on his back with his wife curled up onto his chest and the both of them absolutely passed out.
Maybe younger versions of themselves would have wanted to spend every second of their free time catching up on their limited intimacy. But for now, a shower quickie would suffice. They had more hours of sleep to catch up on than anything else, after all.

Hello! I'd love to request Jacob responding to his imprint having an asthmatic attack. One that's bad enough they have to get paramedics to get her on oxygen until they can get to the hospital to get medication to calm the asthma attack. I'm sure poor Jacob would just be losing it. <3 Please and thank you!
Hhiii!! I love Jacob and this request so I had a blast writing this piece. I must warn you, I don’t know asthma attacks that well so I had to google a lot!
I hope you enjoy it, I tried my best! Keep it coming with the requests, I love doing them!
Tumblr media
It’s a beautiful summer day and you’re hanging out at the beach with your imprinter boyfriend and the rest of his pack. The boys are playing football, which always gets a little rough when they’re all together while the girls are hanging out, chatting and drinking.
“Baby, check this out!” You look over to Jacob as he sprints down the beach towards you, does a flip and lands perfectly next to your towel. “Amazing babe” you kiss his cheek and a big smile forms on his face. Embry drops down next to Jacob and puts an arm around him. “Come on Jake, you can cuddle all the time you want later but now it’s boys time” Embry grins at you and you smile back, laughing a little at his joke. All of a sudden you start coughing a little, making Jake turn towards you with big eyes.
“I’m fine babe, really. Just a little cough, now go! Have fun” you smile at him. “Yeah we’ll take good care of her!” Emily tells him. He hesitates but follows embry anyway. You cough a little again but you wave it off to the other girls. You open your book again and try reading the same chapter but you can feel your chest becoming tighter and the panic sets in.
With fear in your eyes you try to find Emily’s hand while trying to focus on your breathing. Emily is talking to Kim when she feels you touch her hand and turns around towards you. “Y/n? What are you-, oh my god, okay!” Emily becomes frantic as you’re breathing becomes heavier. You face becomes pale and you can feel the cold sweat form on your forehead. Kim runs off towards the boys the moment you start wheezing. “This isn’t good y/n! I’m calling 911” Emily starts running around, calls 911 and puts it on speaker so she can comfort you while talking to the dispatcher.
You wheeze uncontrollably and you feel warm hands cover your shoulders. Jacob pulls your back into his chest and he intertwines your fingers with his. “Breathe for me baby, please just focus on your breathing okay!” His voice rings in your ear and you can barely hear him over the sound of your wheezing. You can feel the panic in his body, he’s shaking and his hands are clutching yours. “They’re almost here!” Your wheezing stops but your chest won’t stop tightening. “Good girl, just focus on your breathing” Jacob sounds relieved but you can see his mind racing with different emotions.
As soon as the ambulance arrives and the paramedics give you the help you need and put you on oxygen, Jacob start calming down. You slowly start to get your breathing under control and they do their check ups. You turn your head to look at your boyfriend and you see the tears in his eyes. You stretch your hand out to him and he grips it tightly.
“I told you it was an attack! I know you baby, I know when it’s happening. You have to trust me when I tell you” he rubs his thumb across the back of your hand. You look around the pack and see all their faces scrunched up in worry and relieve. “You okay?” You look back at Jacob and nod your head. After getting the all clear from the paramedics, you all decide to call it a day. Jacob takes you home.
“You’re gonna be on my ass when I let out just one cough, aren’t you?” You look over to him when you lay in bed together watching the movie you picked out. “You fucking bet I am! Do you know how anxious I was? Or still am, you need to tell me baby, you need to talk to me when you feel something, a cough, a sneeze, I don’t care, talk to me” you grab Jacob’s hand and squeeze it. “I will, I promise. I love you Jake” you lean over and kiss his lips.
“And I love you, pretty girl. Even if you sometimes scare the living shit out of me”

Camp Crystal Lake: Chapter 2
Tumblr media
Requested by @yellowjacketsbuzzbuzz
Joel Miller x f!reader (romance/horror)
Setting: Camp Crystal Lake
The reader is taking on the position of a camp counselor at the infamous Camp Crystal Lake. While she begins to enjoy her summer, even crushing on the camp director Joel, a killer lurks in the woods unbeknownst to anyone.
I made my way back around to the front of the cabin to find a young man and woman of about my age on the porch. He was a muscular, shaggy-haired blond guy sporting a hat and she had a head of bouncy curls and wore a big smile as she looked at him. The two of them, arm-in-arm, noticed me right away.
“Hey!” The girl gave a friendly hello.
“Hi.” I smiled and waved back, retrieving my suitcase first before reaching for the gym bag.
“Jeff, go help her!”
“Oh, sure. Yeah.” The blond guy, Jeff, hurried down the set of steps.
“Oh, it’s fine,” I assured him, but he heaved the bag up over his shoulder before I could resist the help. “Thanks.”
“No problem.”
“I’m (Y/N),” I introduced myself, waving at the couple as I walked side-by-side with Jeff up onto the porch.
“Sandra,” the girl held out a hand and I shook it. “This is my boyfriend, Jeff.”
“Hi.” He nodded, still holding my bag. It looked light as a feather on his arm.
“Thanks for carrying that, you don’t have to,” I assured him.
“Come on.” Sandra waved me into the cabin, “There’s a pretty decent room upstairs,” she explained. “I can show you if you’d like.”
I nodded, “Sure. Yeah. That’d be great.”
Sandra patted Jeff on the butt of his jeans, making him turn and smirk at her. “Second floor, tough guy.”
“Yeah, yeah,” he responded, rolling his eyes with a lopsided smirk.
I snickered to myself at their interaction but ultimately followed them up the staircase, taking in the collection of faces that lingered in the open living room area.
“This is (Y/N),” Sandra announced as the three of us clunked our way up the wooden stairs, “We’ll be right back.”
The cabin was more spacious than it looked. I passed the loft area at the top of the stairs and took a short, rustic hallway down past a pair of bedrooms. In one of them was a pair of bunkbeds. In another were two twin beds side by side.
“Those two have been claimed,” Sandra informed me.
“That’s fine,” I said, “I’m not super picky.”
She nodded toward a room at the far end of the hall, “That’s Joel’s room, the director.”
Jeff made a face, “Not trying to share a wall with the boss man.”
Sandra laughed, “We took this room.” She used her thumb to motion to a closed door, “But once the kids come we alternate bunking in the main cabins with them every other night.”
“We better get the same nights off,” Jeff remarked, making her smirk at him.
“What rooms are available?” I asked.
“These two,” Sandra said, motioning to the two doors closest to Joel’s, on the left and right. I pushed one door open, seeing another set of bunk beds and a twin on the opposite wall. The other had a set of twins.
“I don’t mind roommates,” I claimed. After spending four years at a university, it didn’t bother me. I enjoyed being around people. “I might take the bottom bunk over here.”
“Not the top?” Sandra asked with a laugh.
“I know, I’m weird.” I laughed with her, “I always preferred the bottom. It always had a little extra room.”
“That’s true.” She motioned, “Jeff, to the right.”
“Yes ma’am.” He slugged my bag into the room I chose and tossed the bag onto the bottom bunk. “There ya go.”
“Thank you,” I said, “For helping me bring my stuff up.”
Jeff flexed, “The beach is that way.” He pointed with his finger, making both Sandra and I laugh.
“He’s a meat-head,” she claimed, rolling her eyes.
“I’m good for something.”
“Thank you,” I repeated, “Really.”
“Want to come meet everyone?” Sandra asked, “I know more are coming but the people we’ve met so far are nice.”
“Yeah.” I nodded eagerly and then couldn’t help but add, “Joel seems.. cool.”
“Hot, right?” Sandra asked.
I glanced up at Jeff, who just laughed. And so I responded, “Sorta, yeah.” The two of us laughed and I could see Jeff was comfortable enough in the relationship to give a nonchalant eye roll.
“He’s like forty, calm down,” he joked.
“Jealous?” Sandra asked.
“Ehh..” Jeff shrugged and then scooped her up off her feet, making her giggle and give him a quick kiss. “Just a little.”
“Aww.” She continued to laugh and they linked hands as they made their way down the staircase a step ahead of me. I’m not going to lie, I liked them already. They didn’t seem like one of those annoying couples that fought all the time or who was too lovey dovey. My first impression of Jeff and Sandra was that we could end up getting along quite well. I already enjoyed their lighthearted goofiness.
I glanced at the front door as it swung open as we neared the bottom of the staircase. It was Joel.
“Hey boss,” Jeff greeted with another lopsided grin. He adjusted his hat and leaned an elbow on the banister.
“Can I propose a first informal meeting?” Joel asked, glancing around the room, finding my gaze last.
I nodded and followed to where people naturally gathered on the couches around an unlit fireplace topped with a television. There was a tall, lanky red-headed guy who was goofing around with a dark-haired guy with wavy hair and blue eyes. I heard one of them address another girl of about my age as Teri. She looked like a model with hair just below her ears and, what I would consider, a perfect physique. She held a little white dog under one arm.and sat beside a short, dark-haired girl on the couch.
“Hi, I’m Mark,” another guy wheeled over in a wheelchair wearing a red football style jersey.
I introduced myself and exchanged a handshake. “Nice to meet you.”
“Alright guys.” Joel’s voice snapped me back to reality and I found a seat in a chair beside Mark. “I know everyone is getting settled and some of you had long drives, so I’m not going to put you up to too much today. Tomorrow we’ll get a little more serious. There’s a lot of painting to be done, we definitely have to straighten up the dining hall and when Annie arrives she’ll take the lead on what she wants done in the kitchen.”
“Who’s Annie?” Jeff asked.
“She’s going to be our lead cook,” Joel informed us.
“Does she get here tonight or are we ordering pizzas?” The redhead asked, making everyone laugh.
“You guys didn’t pack peanut butter and jelly to make in your rooms?” Joel joked. He smiled wide just after, “For ttonight, since there’s only a handful of us here for a little while, I bought a bunch of hamburgers and hotdogs. I figured we could have a little barbecue, maybe get a fire going-”
“Tell ghost stories?” Mark asked, again making everyone laugh.
“Sure,” Joel said with a shrug.
“The legend of Jason,” Jeff added, “I think everyone knows that one.”
“Did you get stuff for s'mores?” Sandra asked Joel.
He raised his eyebrows, “Actually.. I did.”
The small crowd cheered and Joel laughed.
“Okay, okay,” he waved his hands to settle everyone down.
“Can, uh.. Since, like, the kids aren’t here yet,” Jeff began but Joel cut him off.
“You want to know if you can drink,” he assumed.
“We’re all over 21.” Jeff looked around, “Right?” Everyone began to nod.
“I’m the old goat at 25,” Mark joked.
“24, I’m right behind you,” the girl sitting next to Teri told him with a wink.
“When the campers arrive, there is a zero tolerance policy on alcohol,” Joel explained, “But..”
“But..” Jeff said with a grin, leaning forward.
“But, in the couple of weeks before they arrive, as long as it doesn’t interfere with your work and the progress we need to make, I don’t mind if you have a drink here or there at night.”
More cheers.
Cool, I thought. But I didn’t have any booze on me.
“I’m not gonna lie, we have two thirty packs in our trunk,” Jeff explained, making a face, “You know, just in case.”
“So, just to clarify,” the red head asked, “Is the rest of the day a freebie? Like barbecue, swimming, getting to know each other?”
Joel gave a slow nod. “But I’m going to have jobs posted for you that will start tomorrow at noon. And then every day thereafter starting at eight o'clock in the morning. Fair?”
“Fair,” the group said collectively.
“Alright,” he said, “Well, finish getting yourselves unpacked. And then enjoy yourselves a little tonight. I know you’re giving up your entire summer for this, so work hard for me but enjoy the last few weeks of freedom.”
“What time should we BBQ?” Jeff asked.
Joel shrugged. “What do you think? Five? Six?”
People looked at one another and began to nod, exchanging glances and agreed to meet out back near the lakeside in a few hours.
I wandered back up to Joel and smiled. “Thanks for letting us ease into this.”
“I know you guys probably had a long day,” he said, “And everyone should get to know each other before we really get into it.”
“I think my ride was the shortest,” I told him with a laugh. “I’m a townie.”
“So am I.”
“Really?”
Joel nodded. “I thought the town needed to be revived a little bit. I know this place has a bad reputation, but maybe we can make a difference and rewrite the script a bit.”
“Yeah, I think that’s a good idea,” I said to him with a nod.
“You majored in child psychology?” he asked.
I smiled wide and nodded, “Yeah.”
“So, you get it then.” He shrugged, “These kids need the outdoors these days more than ever.”
“Definitely.” I nodded. “I think it’s great what you’ve organized here for the kids.”
“I hope we can at least make a little bit of a difference.”
“We will.” I nodded to him. His smile back at me made me blush.
The two girls from the couch came to introduce themselves and Joel gave a little wave as he made his way to Sandra and Jeff.
“I’m Vickie,” said the shorter of the two.
“Teri,” said the other.
“I’m (Y/N/),” I said back, attempting to make small talk with my fellow co-workers.
I then met Ted, the redheaded guy, and Scott the dark-haired guy. It wasn’t long before we were helping Jeff cart the beer down toward the wooded beach area, where we met Joel who supplied most of the food.
“If only Annie were here,” Ted teased, once we were all gathered ready to eat, drink and be merry as the sun began to set.
“We need some firewood,” Mark claimed, staring at the empty pit inside the circle of bricks at the woods’ edge.
“Oh, I got it,” I said at the same time that Joel said he’d take care of it. We looked at one another and shared a little laugh. “We can carry twice as much between the two of us.”
Joel smirked and nodded. “Come on. Safety in numbers, right?”
I joined him on the short walk toward the cabin where he’d been chopping wood earlier.
Jeff shouted to us as we wandered up a short path away from the beach.“Beware of Jason!”

Levi Week Day 3: Shy & Blushing | Affections & Fondness
@leviweek2023
Tumblr media
To celebrate your second anniversary together, Levi takes you to see the beach for the first time.
Tumblr media
Pairing: Levi Ackerman x fem!Reader
Tags and warnings: Back on my soft Levi agenda :3 Fluff, established relationship, canonverse, civilian!Reader, takes place a short while after the beach scene in S3. Mild NSFW (very brief descriptions of oral sex, F receiving). Mild as it may be, I still don't want minors interacting.
Word count: 3.5k
A/N: So I haven’t written anything in a while but this event is helping me get over my writer’s block little by little! I missed the first two days sadly, and this is also a day late, but I wanted to at least get something done for Day 3 lol. This is based off a really cute dream I had a few months ago about a beach date with Levi, but I never got around to writing it, so this was the perfect chance to finally put it into words. I am absolutely incapable of writing anything other than soft sappiness lol. Hope you guys enjoy reading!
Tumblr media
Before today, the biggest body of water you’ve ever seen was the lazy, winding river that runs right down the middle of your home village, where all the merchant boats come in, where all the kids go to play in the sweltering heat of the summer. You practically grew up in the river. It is a second home to you.
And yet it doesn’t hold a candle to the ocean in the slightest.
Miles and miles of pure blue stretch out far beyond the naked eye, the rolling waves on the horizon glinting as they catch the sun’s rays. Untouched by mankind, there is a serene quiet to the air, punctured only by the splash of water making land and the occasional bird cry.
Such a place could only ever exist in myth, or so you thought.
“It’s like something out of a fairytale,” you whisper in awe.
You feel Levi’s eyes on you from behind. “Yeah,” he says quietly. “Yeah, it is.”
The two of you are coming up on your two-year anniversary as lovers, and the Survey Corps’ last expedition to the coastline a couple months ago had inspired him to take you out to the beach to celebrate. He had wanted to show you it’s raw, untouched beauty, before the infrastructure development plans are put into motion.
The way the dry sand shifts under your bare feet catches you off guard. Soft, warm and pliant, which isn’t what you expected at all. The sensation makes you giggle. You can’t help but lean over and touch the sand with your hands, picking a handful of it up and letting the tiny grains slip through your fingers.
“Beware of the sand.” Levi says next to you ominously, taking off his forest-green cloak. “Before you know it, it gets everywhere.” He’s decked out in full uniform and gear. Even though Paradis Island has been declared clear of titans, Levi refuses to take any chances.
You look over your shoulder back at your lover, grinning giddily. “Guess we’ll just have to wash it off in the ocean, then,” you declare, heading right towards the sea. Gone is the soreness from days of camping and riding through endless grasslands, your arms clenched like a vice around Levi’s waist as you tremble atop his horse, feeling all too exposed without the safety of the Walls. Only curiosity and joy remain, propelling your feet towards the water.
“Shit—wait, don’t go too far,” Levi calls. You turn back. The reins on his horse are gathered in one hand, both of your cloaks and your shoes in the other. “I’m going to set us up under that tree over there. It’s hot and Mercy needs some shade.”
You tilt your head. “Okay. Need a hand?” You reach for your shoes and cloak to carry them yourself, but he shakes his head.
“It’s fine, I got it. Besides, I can tell you’re practically shitting yourself with excitement to go frolic around.”
“Mm.”
“So you can go ahead. Just not too deep, I know you can swim but the waves might be stronger than you think. And watch out for poisonous shit and don’t pick any sea creatures up. Hange got stung by this weird-ass blob called a jellyfish because they got too cocky after picking up several non-poisonous things despite me telling them every five seconds to not do that, and their hands were covered in welts for a fortnight.” Revulsion passes across his face for a moment as he recalls the memory.
Confused, you frown. He hasn’t told you this story yet. “What’s a jellyfish?”
“Fuck if I know. That’s what Arlert said they were called. Just watch out.” He leans forward and kisses your cheek tenderly. As he pulls away, you notice his ears are flushed. How cute.
“Alright, alright.” You laugh, and follow it up with a kiss to his cheek. “I’ll be careful. Come join me soon, yeah?”
The slightest of soft smiles graces his face as he nods, before you turn around and jog back towards the sea, lifting your skirt above your knees.
The sand grows colder, wetter, firmer under your feet, a change that rips another joyous laugh out of you. As you approach, the sea moves forward, as if to greet you, and a small wave splashes gently over your feet. You giggle.
“Hello, ocean,” you murmur, kicking the water to gently splash it back. “It’s nice to meet you too.”
A quick scan of the shallows revealed no sea critters. Bummer, you were hoping to at least see what a jellyfish looked like—what kind of an explanation is ‘weird-ass blob’?—but you suppose not seeing one is better than an accidental sting. Lifting your skirts up higher, you wade deeper into the ocean until the water reaches your thighs before looking back at the shore.
On the beach, Levi spreads out his spare cloak as a mat underneath a tree. Next to him, his horse, Mercy, sits and takes a well-deserved rest in the shade after a long journey. He then strips himself of his jacket and boots, before folding them neatly into a pile next to your camping packs. He does the same for your cloak and footwear that you’d discarded carelessly earlier, too caught up in excitement. As he loosens his cravat, Levi’s head turns back towards the sea, evidently looking for you, and offers you a little wave.
You wave back enthusiastically. “Come join me!” You call. As fun as frolicking in the water sounds, you don’t want to do it all by yourself.
Another handful of minutes is spent taking off his gear and straps, before he walks out towards the sea. You wait excitedly, as he slows to a stop, just a hair’s breadth away from where the water stops.
Levi rolls up his trouser legs and tentatively tests out the waters with the tip of his toe.
You grin.
“Don’t laugh.”
You purse your lips. “Not laughing.” He’s just so endearing.
He was like this too with the river near the Queen’s Orphanage, where you work as a teacher. One day, Historia took the orphans to the riverbank to play and invited Levi Squad to spend the day off there with her. You’d waded into the water and beckoned him to follow, only to find him standing hesitantly on the riverbank, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. There aren’t many rivers and lakes down in that shithole where I grew up, are there? I can’t swim to save my shitty life, you remember him saying. Eventually, you’d coaxed him into standing ankle-deep in the river, and he’d ended up watching over the children that didn’t want to venture any deeper either. After all, they had all come from the same place he did. On expeditions and even now on this camping trip, Levi uses a bucket and rag to wash instead of submerging himself in rivers or lakes like everybody else does.
“It’s okay.” You say reassuringly. “It’s hardly any different from standing in the river.”
He gives you a very familiar look of exasperation. “Give me a break. I didn’t get into the ocean when I was here with the others, and I still can’t fucking swim.”
“That’s fine. We don’t have to go any further than knee-deep.”
He nods. Despite that, Levi still lingers with his toes barely in the water. Slowly, you get the feeling that his hesitation has nothing to do with his inability to swim.
You purse your lips, holding in a laugh. “I see. You’re scared of jellyfishes, aren’t you?”
He blinks, deadpan. “You’re hilarious. I’m not scared of jellyfishes.”
Your face splits into a grin. “Yes you are.”
“I am not. This is ridiculous.”
“If a jellyfish was to show up right now, what would you do? Hide behind me?”
“If a jellyfish was to show up right now, you’d be the one hiding behind me, just like you do whenever there’s a spider in the house.” Levi crosses his arms and gives nothing away with his expression, but his ears are turning redder by the second.
You give him a teasing look. “Sure, sure.” And even if you did end up being scared of a jellyfish, you know Levi would help you without a second thought. Just like he does with the spiders. “You know, I still have no idea what a jellyfish is. How would I hide behind you if I don’t know what I’m supposed to be hiding from? What even are they?”
“Freaky little fuckers, that’s what they are,” he grouses.
“Okay, well, we’re not going to let a stupid freaky sea creature ruin our fun, yeah? We know that they exist now, and since you’ve seen one, you know what to look out for.” You hold out a hand. “We’ll be okay.”
Levi’s eyes drops towards your hand, clearly debating on whether or not he should take it. He’d been too shy to show any sort of physical affection towards you when Historia and his subordinates were also present, even though everybody was off-duty that day.
Now, though, there is nobody watching.
Just how the both of you like it.
Levi searches your face for a moment, before he quickly snatches up your hands, and takes another step into the water. A new wave rolls in, harder than the rest, and crashes against both of your calves, soaking the hems of his trousers and your skirt.
“See? All fine.”
Still holding onto your hand so tightly his knuckles begin to whiten, Levi scans the waters with narrowed eyes. “Mm hm.”
This won’t do. He’s still far too tense, far too on edge. What you wouldn’t give for him to be able to relax without feeling guilty about it. Concerned, you squeeze his hand.
“Hey. How about we get out of the ocean for a bit? You said we were going to stay here tomorrow for the actual anniversary too, so there’s absolutely no rush. For now, we can walk along the beach as far down as possible and then back up here again. The sun looks like it’s going to set soon too, so it won’t be too hot for us. You won’t have to worry about leaving Mercy alone for a short while, she won’t overheat.”
Bit by bit, the tension seeps out of him as he considers your offer. He squeezes your hand back.
You smile. “Let’s go.”
———
As you walk along the beach, two bright red, shelled creatures make you yelp as they abruptly cutting the two of you off in your tracks, scuttling sideways. You also come across the occasional pretty seashell that Levi offers to hold in his pocket, before eventually stumbling across a strange mass washed up on the sand.
Levi flings an arm in front of you. “Stop.”
“What the—” Realisation strikes you quickly. “Is that a jellyfish?”
He nods stiffly.
“So that’s what it looks like… well, you’re right. It is a weird-ass blob.”
“This one’s triple the size of the one Hange picked up.” Levi informs you in a whisper.
“Um, is it dead? It’s not meant to be out of the water, is it?”
“Don’t know. Don’t think so.” Levi looks back out at the sea, tugging on your hand slightly as he slowly inches backwards. The sun is beginning to set. “Should probably turn back anyway.”
“We could just walk around the poor thing, if you want to keep going.” You offer him a reassuring smile. “But I don’t mind either way.”
He shakes his head, the tugging on your hand growing stronger. “It’s been too long since I’ve fed Mercy. And the sun is setting; we need to set up our tent before dark. Come on, let’s go.”
He’d fed his horse not long ago, but you just suppress a smile of endearment and let Levi eagerly steer you away from the beached jellyfish. You squeeze his hand in comfort, and he squeezes back in thanks.
As the sun sets, the sky burns. Above you lies every shade of red, orange and yellow imaginable. The sight is gorgeous.
But not more so than Levi himself.
You’ve always attested to his beauty, though he’s always quick to say otherwise. But if he could see himself today, alight from the sunset glow, you aren’t sure even he could deny that whatever higher forces are out there took their time shaping every feature of his to perfection.
And he says he’s the lucky one.
As the two of you walk, hand in hand, you both gradually drift sideways towards the ocean, until the two of you walk ankle-deep in water, feeling the sand get drawn in and out under your feet as the ocean ebbs and flows.
Despite his nerves from earlier, Levi had chosen to walk on your left side, the side exposed to the big expanse of ocean. Content to stroll in silence, to simply take in this beautiful feat of nature around you, you notice Levi looking out to the sea every now and then, admiring how the light glints off the waves. Even the curve of his cheek—which is all you can see when his head is turned away from you like this—just fills you with an inexplicable joy. As Levi looks back in front of him to see how much farther the two of you have to walk, you notice his expression is softer, content. Dare you say it: he’s happy.
“It’s really nice seeing you like this.” You murmur, voice barely audible above the breeze.
He looks back at you. “Hm? Like what?”
“Like you’re at peace.”
His breath hitches. At a loss for words, Levi’s pinky curls around yours as he looks back out at the ocean for a moment.
“I have you to thank for that.”
The words are accompanied with an awkward clearing of his throat and a blush so undeniable he could not possibly pin it on the reddish glow of the sunset.
“The last time I was here, it wasn’t like this. It was… All I could think about was…”
He pauses, exhaling harshly, as his feet come to a stop. You come around to face him, taking his other hand. In times like these, you’ve found it’s best to not say anything, to give him the room to gather his words. It’s hard for him to express his feelings and thoughts, and from the small glimpses of his past he’s revealed to you, it’s not difficult to see why. There is no room for vulnerability in the life he leads. And yet, he tries for you. You’re so incredibly proud of him, beyond what your own words could ever express.
“Hange and my squad were having the time of their lives. Armin’s dream to reach the ocean came true. But all I could think about was how everybody who didn’t live to see the ocean should have been there to see it. How much they would’ve loved this place, just like you do.” He swallows thickly. “Then Eren, that brat, he… he goes and ruins the mood for everybody else. He goes and reminds us all of what awaits on the other side of the ocean. As if we could ever forget.”
You remember reading the article about it in the papers. How your blood had gone cold. How faint you felt at the realisation that everything Levi and his comrades fought for, shed blood for, offered up their hearts and lives for, had been for a truth uglier than anyone could possibly imagine.
No. It’s not like you could forget either.
“And if that wasn’t enough, he goes and contemplates what it will take to finally reach the freedom he thought was beyond the ocean. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out what his first thought was.”
You feel sick to your stomach. The hurt and shock on your face must be clear as day to him, for Levi shakes his head and pulls you in closer to him, a hand rubbing your back.
“Fuck, I shouldn’t have told you that,” he says quietly. “Sorry. I just… before today, that was my first and last time seeing the ocean. This time… this time is better.” Voicing it makes him blush once more. He looks away again. “Much better.”
Reeling from his words, all you can do is bridge the gap and pull him in close for a hug. Inside, there is a sinking, sickening feeling that things are only going to get worse for the Survey Corps from now on.
You close your eyes. “I wish this could all be over,” you mumble into his shoulder. He’s warm under your touch. “You must be so tired.”
In response, he holds you tighter, his body melting into yours, and sighs.
———
On your way back, you feel Levi taking quick, stolen glances at you when you’re looking elsewhere. Every time you turn back to look at him, he’s whipped his head in the opposite direction and is looking out at the ocean, presumably to hide his blush.
You grin to yourself, and look in the opposite direction. Beyond the sand lies a more firm, grassy area with those unfamiliar-looking trees just like the ones you left Mercy under. You and Levi quickly agree that once you get back, you’ll go a little further inland to set up camp, since he’s wanting to avoid getting sand in the tent.
In your mind, you replace a patch of the grassland with a cosy cottage facing out towards the sea. You can almost hear the sounds of joyous laughter being carried by the wind: yours, Levi’s, and perhaps a third voice, much younger, much less burdened by the weight of the world.
The two of you make it back to where you started with still some daylight to spare. You give Mercy some water, and prepare dinner from the packed rations, whilst Levi, having proven himself capable since he does this every time he goes on an expedition, walks a little further inland and puts up the tent.
The moment you two crawl inside and lay down your sleeping bags, Levi presses a searing kiss to your lips. It isn’t long before his head is between your thighs, bringing you to the edge. Always willing to give. Your fingers weave through his silken hair, and tears of pleasure—tears only Levi has ever managed to draw from you—sting at the corner of your eyes.
When you come, he comes—untouched. And after the two of you gather yourselves and clean up, he’s looking at you ever so fondly, like he will never get the chance to look at you again.
“If I could give you the world,” you say, pulling him closer (it will never be close enough), “I would.”
“I don’t want the world,” he mumbles, leaning down to kiss you, “I never have. I want you.”
———
Long after you’ve fallen into slumber, Levi lies awake, mind racing.
I want you.
He means it in every sense.
Out on the beach, walking beside you and admiring your breathtaking radiance, he’d come to a realisation he should’ve come to a long time ago: he wants to marry you. The question had lingered at the tip of his tongue the entire way back, but he had managed to hold back on asking you right there and then by looking away, catching his breath, letting his burning face cool with the breeze. He couldn’t let himself ask you in that moment. If he was going to ask you to spend the rest of your life with him, he was going to do it properly, with a ring that shines as brightly as you do.
It’s kind of ironic, how this entire trip to celebrate your two-year anniversary as lovers, would’ve been the perfect time to propose, yet he’d been too slow to realise it until now. He decides that the moment he gets back to the Walls, he’s visiting the nearest jewellers.
He’s always been that way, Levi supposes. It had taken him years after your first meeting at that teashop to tell you how he’d felt, and he almost never told you at all. For so long, he had been convinced this could never be in the cards for him. Everybody he has ever loved meets the same tragic fate, and he’s scared that one day, you will too.
But if you ever do meet that fate, he knows in his heart of hearts he will never regret loving you.
He reaches over to pick up his pocket watch. It’s dark inside the tent, but his eyes have always been keen, and he can make out the positions of the hands.
Fifteen seconds to midnight.
He takes a moment to look down at you in fondness. Your cheek is squished against his chest, soft lips parted to let out slow and deep breaths, your arm loosely draped over his side, legs entangled with his.
Ten seconds to midnight.
He dares to mouth the words. Will you marry me?
As if in response, you snuggle up closer to him with a sleepy sigh.
Three, two, one.
“Happy anniversary,” Levi whispers, heart full, and closes his eyes.

They lied. Everyone who had toed that line between life and death, they fucking lied. There was no bittersweet flash of memories before your eyes. You didn’t have a lot, but shit—there’s gotta be something worth showing you, worth reliving, before you close your eyes forever.
The minutes pass, you feel the growing chill along your limbs from the steady flow of blood from the various bullet holes in your torso, and still—nothing. Not a goddamn thing.
Just Rick.
Rick bolting across the sand with your name falling from his lips. You can’t hear it, there’s a distinct shrill ringing in your ears that seems to be drowning out the chaos around you, but you see the movement of his mouth, the strain of his throat as he yells.
He comes to land on his knees next to you, a shower of cool sandy grains flicking up and dusting your black tac shirt. It glistens under the light of explosions and gunfire, and you briefly wonder in morbid curiosity how much of your blood stains the beach beneath you.
“Jesus. Oh, oh darlin’—”
You hear him then, his broken and strained mutter cutting through the surrounding ambush.
“Hey Colonel,” you rasp with a barely there smile, a sticky hot trail of liquid leaking from the edge of your lips, “how’s it lookin’?”
Those pretty doe eyes dart over the destruction of your body, his hands ghosting over your wounds in what feels like hesitation, anxiety. Which ones can be smothered with a cheap and easy dressing? What one needs the most pressure applied?
Going by the rate your body seems to be numbing, cooling in the breezy night air, they’re all pretty shit. At least there's no pain. Shock, adrenaline - whatever the fuck it is, you're thankful for it.
“Fine,” he mutters, rough gloved hands instead coming to rest on your cheeks, thumbs brushing away the coarse sand and half dried blood splatters covering your skin, “you’re gonna be just fine.”
“Damn,” you breathe heavily, brows briefly coming together, “I never thought I’d hear you lie to me. None of that shit. No, no.... you gotta make it something good, Colonel.”
Confusion pinches his pretty face through the pain, and you give another strained smile.
“The last words I’ll ever hear—make ‘em… they gotta be good.”
“Don’t talk like that, you hear me? You’ll be fine. Backup’s comin’. They’re comin’, and we’ll get you patched up, and you’ll be right to back to bein’ a pain in my ass, okay?”
Oh, sweet soldier.
No.
It doesn't work like that.
They don’t send help for people like you. Suicide Squad, remember? It’s in the name. You knew what you were signing up for. He knew what you were signing up for. This is it. You’re just another classified file thrown through the shredder at the end of the day.
You blink tiredly up at him, “No one’s coming, Flag.”
He shakes his head in firm denial, strong jaw rolling in an effort to remain cool and collected.
“No, they... they have to.”
“Somethin’ good, Flag,” you remind him quietly, a heaviness now seemingly coming to rest along your limbs.
Is this it? Can’t you just have one more minute? One more minute of him crowding your vision? You don’t need a last minute life montage, not when he’s here, not when he’s carefully dragging you further into his warm embrace.
Please, just a little longer in his arms.
“Okay… okay. The—the first time you smiled, it felt like the universe aligned.”
“Oh, fuck me,” you splutter with a sudden roll of remaining energy, chest heaving and lungs screaming as you choke on a weak chuckle, “that’s a… a new low, even for… f’your s-soft self.”
“Thought you’d like that,” he drawls quietly with a grin.
It’s brief, tainted with agony stricken tears, and falls from his face the second it stretches his lips. No, sweet soldier. Smile. It’s okay.
Maybe… maybe this is why your life isn’t flashing before your eyes. It’s because it’s here—he’s here. You didn’t really have anything before this, before the Squad, before Rick. You were merely a shell of a person in your cell, angry with the unfair world and the hand you’d been dealt from childhood, but when he came along?
He gave you a chance, saw something in you no one had before. He provided you with the Squad, with friends. He got you out of your cell and into the fresh air with a new outlook. He trained you, laughed with you, ate with you in the crappy mess hall despite the frowns from his co-workers.
He saw you.
He saw you for everything you were, not for what people thought you to be.
“Think you’re the… the closest thing I’ve e-ever felt to love, Colonel. Thank you.”
It’s a decent goodbye, you decide with the final beat of your heart, slackening in relief and embracing the call of the abyss with a leftover curl still tugging at your lips. Better than you’d been led to believe you deserved, better than what Waller threatened you with.
You got a good ending.
He feels the weight of you in his arms, sees how unnaturally still your chest has fallen and how your eyes seem to stare just past his shoulder. It shakes him to the core. His heart beats at the base of his throat and he can’t help but call out to you one more time, despite knowing you’d never answer.
“Darlin’?”
You can’t be gone—not yet.
You can’t be gone, because you didn’t get to hear him say it back. He needs to say it, he needs you to hear it. He murmurs those three little words over and over, breathing them into your skin wherever he can reach, willing you to stay just long enough to hear them, long enough to know you were loved.
You need to know you’re loved.
Bile builds in his throat at the thought, but he has to leave you behind; alone, broken and bled out on the sandy beach for a sweep team to deal with later. He wonders as he runs through the dense jungle, but he’ll never know if you did manage to hear his broken, tear filled I love you’s.
He hopes with everything in him that you did.

California Love
description: Joe pops the question at your favorite spot in the world 🫶 (little bit of smut but not too much)
“up up up!” you shake your boyfriend awake excited to get the day started.
“Joe the plane leaves in 30 minutes, i’m going with or without you my love!” your voice trails off as you enter the bathroom packing last minute essentials. Looking around you double check to make sure everything is packed; deciding to throw in the fuzzy handcuffs last minute, cause why not?
You hear Joe’s morning groans and can’t help but smile to yourself. You loved your annual summer trips, they were always so perfect, Joe was off from football for some time now and you two really got a chance to just soak up time together. This year he wanted to take you back to California, it’s been a while since you guys have been but he knows it’s your favorite getaway spot.
“babe do you know where my grey jeans are?” Joe joins you down stairs as your pour a coffee.
You quickly turn your back to him trying not to give away the fact that you donated them to goodwill last week. “mmm no haven’t seen them, but Joe were staying on the beach anyway i don’t think you’ll need jeans.”
He pouts as he head back upstairs to grab the last of his belongings. Smiling to yourself you yell to him. “I’ll start packing the car!”
The two of you arrive to the landing strip where the jet was waiting. In all honesty you and Joe were not frequent private jet passengers, it always felt like a waste, but he insisted that we took the jet this time. Crew members greet the two of you, helping you unpack the car. Joe takes your hand as you approach the plane, the small action still bringing warmth to your body even after being with him for years.
Taking your seats, a crew member hands you a mimosa to which you graciously accept.
“Let me know if I can get you two anything else, enjoy the flight Mr. and Mrs. Burrow, we’ll be in Laguna beach before you know it.” The man finishes as he exits the main cabin. You turn your head to Joe to see his reaction to the name mix up, but his eyes are glued to the runway, hand still grasping yours. You just giggle to yourself and pull out your headphones, shuffling your playlist and lying your head on Joes shoulder. You close your eyes as you feel the plane begin takeoff and feel Joe lie a kiss on the top of your head.
“y/n we’re here” Joe nudges you awake.
“you slept for the entire flight, I was so bored.” he frowns as you two exit the plane.
“Well I was up until 3am packing your bag you swore you wouldn’t forget to pack” you respond poking him in his side.
An uber picks you both up from the airport, dropping you off at the beach resort. It was easily the most jaw dropping resort you’ve ever been to and the suite was absolutely stunning.
Dropping your bags on the floor Joe pulls you onto the balcony, “Look at this view, we can see everything!” He excitedly scans the shore line below seeming full of anticipation which kind of surprised you. Joe usually was laid back when it came to vacations and typically found a way to incorporate football into them, which he promised he was avoiding these next 3 days. He even assured you he had an itinerary in store which you were excited to see play out.
“I know it’s so beautiful, we have so much of the day left cause of the time delay, what should we do?” You both walk back inside the suite and Joe wraps his arms around you from behind.
“I could think of something.” He smirks at you in the mirror and you playfully push him off.
“No Joe not right now, later” you laugh “i need sun! The uv is 10!”
He dramatically rolls his eyes, “fine let’s go to the pool, but i can’t promise i’ll be able to help myself if you where that blue bikini.” He smirks giving you hopeful eyes.
“oh don’t you worry, i’ll wear my wet suit” you wink.
After a long day of sitting at the pool and even doing some shopping, you and Joe enjoyed a beautiful dinner overlooking the ocean. Dating Joe has obviously come with so many luxuries, but no matter how many experiences you too have, there’s just something so special about being in his presence. Knowing that no matter how busy his world gets, he always comes home to hold you through the night. It’s nights like these when you look back upon the span of your relationship and how far you two have come together, it could bring tears to your eyes just thinking about your future together.
Entering the suite, you notice a vase of flowers left upon the dresser. You smile at Joe and he brings you in for a kiss.
“You’re being so lovey dovey Joseph I don’t know what’s gotten into you.” You giggle between kisses. He unzips your dress not daring to leave your lips, pushing you back unto the mattress.
“You just look so beautiful tonight.” he purs against your neck as your dress hits the carpet. Within seconds he has you against the pillows, moving quickly down the center of your stomach with kisses. You giggle as you feel his scruff against your soft skin. you arch your back as you feel his fingers dragging across your body as he continues to leave marks along your thighs.
“Joe, please I need you baby.” You arch your back at his actions.
With that he slips a finger inside of you, causing you to moan instantly. He adds another one as he begins to thrust into you, increasing his pace.
“you like that baby?” he pushes on, knowing damn well you do.
“Yes joey please don’t stop,” Your moans only increase when he presses his tongue to your clit, lapping at your sweet juices.
You feel your orgasm building up as you tug at Joes locks. His hair was growing out so quickly and it felt like every time you had your hands in it now, it was a little longer. You gave it one hard tug which Joe expectedly moaned in response to.
“Cum for me y/n” Joe rapidly pushes into you smirking against your center.
“Oh Joe!” you yelp
As your climax hits you feel him lapping up the residue of your orgasm. He brings himself up to your lips once again, not wasting any time. The rest of the night consisted of several rounds of Joe making you scream which you couldn’t complain about.
The next morning your eyes fluttered open at the view of the sea from your balcony. You felt the rise and fall of Joes chest as you laid there for a few moments. You feel a hand run through your hair and look up with a smile to Joes morning face.
“Good morning Joey.” You stand up heading to the shower when Joe reaches out for you.
“Hey wait I have a surprise for you,” he says reaching into the end table. He pulls out a pamphlet and hands it to you. It’s a certificate for the resort spa, the best in orange county.
“Oh my gosh Joe I needed this, thank you my love.” You pull him into a hug and he smiles.
“Go pamper yourself today my love, we’re going to dinner later too.” he stands gathering some things.
“Awh, what are you going to do all by yourself today?” you feel bad realizing Joe will be on his own.
“Well…um i know i said no football…but i kind of planned to get some throwing in today, I know you wanted a football free trip but it’s only a couple hours and-”
“Joe babe it’s okay” you giggle, “I know a trip without training in unheard of. Go have fun, i’ll meet you back here later.” You kiss his check and head off to the shower.
The next few hours were absolute heaven. Filled with facials, massages, pedicures, and lots of mimosas. You felt like an entire new person walking out of the spa and hadn’t realized how late it had gotten. It was already four by the time you had left.
“Joe you here?” you call out entering the suite.
“No” he responds
“Hey you!”You join him in the little living room, sitting with him on the couch.
“Was the spa everything you dreamed of and more?” he asks pulling you into him.
“Yes it was, how was your workout?” you ask.
He pauses almost looking confused for a moment, “oh! it was good, great actually.”
“that’s good.” You snuggle into his lap, but he abruptly stands up.
“No ma’am we have a dinner to get to” he commands.
“Joe” you laugh, “where are we going?”
He leans down close to you and smiles, “cant tell you, it’s a surprise.” He kisses your cheek and walks off into your shared room.
“Joe!” you yell, “We don’t do surprises! How do i know what to wear?”
“Come look on the bed!” he yells back.
Walking into the room you smile at the gorgeous red dress he had laid out on the sheets. It was strapless and had the most perfect slit to it, you couldn’t believe he picked this out.
“And these”, Joe comes out with a pair of Prada leather slingbacks that went perfectly with the dress.
“Joe this is unreal” you respond so shocked at the gesture.
“Where are we going dressed like this?” you question again which he of course doesn’t respond to.
You slide on the dress and applied your makeup, carefully curling your hair, making sure everything was perfect. Dressed like this, nothing could be out of place. Joe joins you in the bathroom to touch up his hair and you couldn’t help but to be taken aback by the button down and slacks Joe had someone figured out how to wear. You thought for sure the Looney Tunes sweatshirt or Seinfeld sweatpants would make an appearance.
“Wow…you look fancy” you say leaning in for a kiss.
Joe gives you a wink and takes your hand, guiding you to the living room.
“Let’s take a walk before dinner, I want to see the sunset.” He says. You notice a slight change in his demeanor, not a bad one, just an unrecognizable one.
As you both slowly stroll through the resort and out to the beach, the sky becomes breathtaking. You lock arms with him and walk along the pavement adoring the view.
“Isn’t it so beautiful Joe?” You look up to him with a smile, but he just nods in return, eyes glued to something in the distance.
“You okay?” you ask, he turns his head down and smiles.
“Never better my love”
You continue the walk passing few people along the way, you figured Joe would want to turn back soon, but instead he makes a turn, leading you onto a paved path that led to the shore. You weren’t familiar with this spot but figured maybe Joe had seen it at some point. You feel him squeeze your arm a little and you giggle at the gesture. There was no one around, this felt like a little escape for the two of you, it was beautiful.
As you near the end of the pathway, you notice flowers, so many flowers. Scattered along the pavement, they picked up a bit with the wind. Each petal had its own glow with the reflection of the sunset. That warm hue the sun lets off as it ends the day reached the both of you, making you feel as if you were the only two people in the world. Distracted by the scene infront of you, you didn’t even notice that you two had stopped walking. Joe picked up a flower and put it behind your ear, bringing a blush to your cheeks. You watched his body so carefully, his face was so full of love, you just wanted to kiss him; but before you could do so, he was down on one knee.
“y/n…” he opens the top of the little velvet black box.
You couldn’t tell if your heart was racing or skipping beats.
“These past 5 years have been full of so many experiences, and the whole way you were always right there by my side, you’ve always been my person. I know I don’t always say it enough, but I love you so damn much, I wouldn’t even be close to the man I am today if it wasn’t for you. I’ve know since the beginning that I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and spend every last moment with you in my arms. y/n will you marry me?”
“Yes” you can barley weep out. Joe instantly slides the ring on your finger and brings you into a kiss. You both have come together like this so many times, but this time was different, this time felt like the force of all those other kisses coming together in one.
You pull away cupping his face and wiping his tears, him doing the same. He picks you up spinning you around as you squeal. This was easily the best moment of your entire life.
After watching the sun finally set in each others arms, Joe reminds you of dinner. You both follow the path back up to the sidewalk and continue on towards the restaurant. As you walk up the steps, you notice far too many familiar faces at once.
You’re smile widens as both of your family’s surround the two of you in hugs and tears. Both sets of parents were in instant tears at the sight of the ring. You look up at Joe with a silent “thank you” and he smiles.
As everyone sits down for dinner the conversation starts about how Joe managed to pulls this off and the little white lie he told about his training this morning. Your mom explains how he had to figure out a way to pick up everyone from the airport and set up the proposal without you finding out.
You couldn’t believe any of this was happening, it all felt like a dream. Looking around at the group of people all cheering and laughing with one another, you realized you were looking at your new family all together.
“You’re my fiancé now,” You turn to Joe with a smirk.
“No, You’re my fiancé now,” he says pulling you closer to him.

dad daemon targaryen x daughter reader please? he was the one who spent the night with rhaenyra not criston.
he left after the wedding without knowing shes pregnant. After few months she gave birth to a white haired girl with unmistakably violet eyes like her dad. 10 years later he saw her at his wife’s funeral and he just knew she is his
maybe some angst, drama especially since she’s her mother’s heir and all the attention is on her perhaps it ends with fluff
AN:Hi, I hope you like it x
You held your brother’s hands as the boat slowly came ashore for the funeral of the Valaryon daughter. It hadn’t been long since the news of Harwin Strong’s death had reached you all. Not that it hurt you. But you knew your brothers; well, Jace was mourning. He wasn’t as stupid as people thought.
The cold air brushed past you and the soft, bright locks of yours moved in the wind. “I’m sad.” Jace whispered to you. “Shh, little one.” You whispered back and moved to kneel down. Luke cuddling to your side. “We’ll be okay.” It was the only comfort you could bring them both as you kept them close.
“We are here now.” Rhaenyra gently whispered to you three as she moved closer. She took Luke’s hand. Jace stayed cuddled against your side as you both followed your mother. Your eyes looked to find Alicent staring at you. A soft smile came over your face as you looked at the Queen.
There was no animosity between the two of you and sometimes you seeked comfort in her company. You bowed as you walked past. Your hand was still holding Jace as you moved onto the sand. The soft breeze moved past you as the soft, bright locks that were so noticeably against your brother’s colour cascaded down your back.
Thankfully, the sombre mood of the day allowed you to fall into the background and away from prying eyes. You missed the looks that did come your way as the service continued. Daemon looked over to his niece and her family. His eyes widened as the service for his late wife began. What had been hidden from him?
Thankfully, you were looking down as you played with Jace’s fingers. You missed the looks from Daemon’s daughters too. The speaking continued and a soft frown came over your face as you realised what they were talking about. You tightened your hold on your brothers as you finally locked eyes with your mother’s uncle.
But he wasn’t staring at your mother. Only you. It had you more confused as you ducked your head once more as his laughter sounded out. You decided on ignoring it as the service slowly came to an end. Your mother pressed a soft kiss to your cheek before asking you to take the boys outside.
“Come on then.” You hummed and reached for some drink for the three of you whilst cheekily picking at food. You didn’t notice the soft smile coming over Daemon’s lips as he watched you.
~
“You did not tell me about her.” Daemon whispered to Rhaenyra as they walked the beach together. The Princess began to play with her fingers as she continued to walk with him. Her heart was racing. “I know.” She admitted; ducking her head down as she tried to explain why she hadn’t done so.
“She is mine?” Daemon continued, even though he knew the truth and Rhaenyra tried to not get offended by such a question. “Of course.” She whispered and wrapped her arms around herself as they continued to walk. “I’ve missed so much of her life.” He whispered mostly to himself as he too looked down.
“I’m sorry.” Rhaenyra whispered, playing nervously with her fingers as she slowly came to a stop. She reached for Daemon’s hand as a soft smile came over his face. “It’s fine.” He whispered. “I can have her in my life now.” He whispered mostly to himself as he thought back to seeing you.
“She’s beautiful.” He muttered. “She is.” Rhaenyra smiled before looking up and locking eyes with him. “You should go to her.” Rhaenyra whispered with a soft smile as she took his hand. “She’d like that.”
Daemon had taken Rhaenyra’s advice and began to search for you. Apparently you enjoyed being outside rather than hidden away. A soft smile came over him at the thought; you were just like him. Your little dragon settled beside you as you cooed and gently petted her beautiful scales.
A soft gasp escaped you when you heard branches breaking behind you. The small creature of yours huffed and stood in front of you. “She’s precious.” You looked down at your dragon with a soft blush. “Thank you.” Your eyes locked onto Daemon now as you whispered it out. Your hands are moving to clasp behind your back.
“She’s small.” You whispered out; chewing nervously on your bottom lip as the silence moved past you both. Only the harsh wind gives you comfort. “She’ll grow.” Daemon promised; his smile widening. “Yes.” You hummed, stroking her scales once more as she huffed. You watched the little blood, red dragon move into the distance.
The silence once more came over you both as you stared into the distance. The evening is darkening around you. Daemon moved to stand beside you. For a moment; he was unsure on how to proceed. “You are my father.” It was you who broke the silence as you ducked your head; thoughts running wild.
“I am.” Daemon whispered. The Prince saw no need to lie to you. Not like he had been lied to for years now. “Why did you not come for me?” You whispered it out to the world. Your troubles and insecurities falling from your lips. “I did not know you existed.” The dragon ducked his head in shame.
Your heart broke at the news and all you could think about was why your mother had done such a thing. Daemon could easily read your face; you were so much like your mother, he thought as he reached for a lock of your hair. “She did what she thought was right.” Daemon defended Rhaenyra even as he felt slighted too.
“I will never leave you again.” Daemon promised as you slowly turned around to face him. The sun is setting around you both. You hated how the words had such an impact on you. “I promise.” He continued and brought you against his chest. Your arms instantly wrapping around him,
You burrowed into his chest and fought against the tears threatening to spill. You felt complete. Nothing could change that now. His fingers moved through your hair as he gently rocked you. “I’m happy you are here.” You babbled out; the words muffled but he heard them. “Me too.” Daemon whispered, pressing a soft kiss to the top of your head.

part two here !!
̩͙✧ ₊˚. ೃ
y/n and her brother, ao’nung, were hanging out with his best friend, rotxo, when the sully family arrived out of the blue.
she walked behind her brother and spotted the dark blue skinned na’vi. she tried to look at them closer out of curiosity once they were on the beach with them but ao’nung slapped the back of head to stop her.
“ow!”
“don’t go near them.” he scolded. she mocked him and went to stand by his side.
she she looked toward them again, she spotted a pretty girl her age, studying the village persons while tugging a fishnet around her.
y/n smiled softly before kiri turned to spot her. her expression softened but she quickly looked away when a tsurak flew over the family.
they ducked in fear and looked over to see it was y/n’s father, chief tonowari.
he landed in the water and cautiously made his way toward the family while still walking with pride.
they talked for a while, ronal insulted the family, ao’nung made fun of them, but y/n was too distracted to pay attention.
she didn’t even pay attention when her mother started to insult the children, calling them demons and showing off their disfigurements.
well, she didn’t until she caught a glimpse of kiri’s face.
they calmed down and tonowari managed to convince ronal to let them stay.
and he later assigned his children to teaching the newcomers children how to swim and live in the water.
“this is ao’nung, tsireya, and my youngest, y/n.” he said proudly.
“thank you. thank you- uh, this is my son neteyam, kiri, our daughter..” jake sully pointed to kiri.
y/n smiled at her and kiri shyly returned it.
“my son lo’ak, and our youngest daughter tuk.” he patted tuk’s head gently and she smiled brightly.
tsireya offered to help take their things to their new home and y/n was about to go with her.
tonowari held her back for a moment though, with a stern look.
“i will only tell you this once. be nice and do not cause trouble.”
she sighed with irritation.
“i mean it.”
“you always assume the worst of me, father-“
“y/n.”
“okay! okay, fine. i promise.” she shrugged. he nods and sends her off to help the family.
the second y/n turned around, she rolled her eyes with the most annoyed face any teenager could make.
she made her way to kiri’s ikran, watching the creature with caution.
“hi.. uh, i’m y/n.” she said to kiri.
“i know. nice to meet you.” kiri nodded.
“here, i can help.” y/n took a heavy bag filled with kiri’s extra clothes and accessories from her hand.
kiri smiled softly. “thank you.”
“follow us. we’ll take you to your new home.” she nodded.
they walk across the woven bounds walkways to an empty marui. kiri hesitated while entering the marui, seeing how different it was to her old home.
“do you not like it?” y/n asked kiri.
“it’s okay. just very different:” kiri shrugged,
“you will get used to it soon. uh, where should i put this?” she asked kiri.
kiri shrugs and looks around the little corners in the marui. they settled on one and they put kiri’s stuff down.
“i should go. we’ll be in the reef later for your lessons. i’ll see you there, right?” y/n asked, trying to hide her excitement.
“yeah. sure.” kiri shrugs, not looking up.
y/n frowned a bit. she didn’t want kiri to be disappointed with her new home.
“i know you probably miss your old home but you’re going to love it here in the reef.” she said to her quietly.
kiri looks up at her. “i hope so.”
y/n smiled and left the marui after briefly greeting kiri’s parents. she followed her sister to the beach near the coral reefs.
her and her siblings and rotxo waited around on the beach for the children to arrive.
“i can’t believe we got stuck with the forest freaks.” ao’nung grumbled.
“shut up!” y/n snapped while sitting atop a boulder.
he glared at his sister. “how would you like if you moved to a whole new place and the kids there made fun of you?” she grumbled.
“well, it’s not me, so who cares.” ao’nung muttered.
“hey, she’s right.” tsireya scolded.
“whatever. this whole thing sucks.” he muttered to rotxo.
he laughed quietly when the silly kids arrived.
“hi!” tsireya greeted.
they all waved and mutter quiet greeting while tuk was so eager to say hi to them.
they told the kids about the reef and the animals that lived within it and the metkayina friends didn’t think twice about diving into the water.
the group swam into the open waters with animals and coral making their home shine with color and beauty.
as they swam deeper and deeper, closer to the ocean floor, they noticed the omaticaya kids kept floating near the surface.
y/n looked over at her friend, rotxo.
“what’s wrong with them?” he signed.
y/n simply shrugged and looked back up at them.
tsireya signed to them, “come swim with us.”
they held out theirs hands with confused faces and y/n couldn’t help but laugh.
as she stared up at them, she noticed that kiri wasn’t with the two older boys and her little sister.
the friends swam up to the surface to talk to them.
“what’s wrong? are you tired?” y/n asked them.
“you’re too fast. wait for us!” tuk whined, wiping her face and breathing heavily.
“aw!” y/n muttered.
ao’nung and rotxo caught up with his sisters.
“you are not good divers.” ao’nung said.
“maybe good at swimming through trees, but..”
tsireya slapped the back of his head before he could continue.
“you’re just not used to it. we’ll teach you how to swim like us.” y/n said to them.
“alright but what’s this.. finger talk? we don’t know what you’re saying.” neteyam asked, waving his fingers.
“sign language. we can teach you that too.” tsireya said to him.
“wait, guys, where’s kiri?” rotxo asked the group.
her brother started to look around them.
“kiri?”
“where’s kiri?”
y/n looked around the surface and kiri wasn’t anywhere there. she dived into the water and swam to the coral reefs near the village.
she found kiri swimming with an ilu and smiling while petting it.
y/n smiled at how pretty she looked and swam closer to her.
once she approached her, she waved her hand to grab her attention. she waved her hand, gesturing to kiri for her to follow her and the two girls swam back up to the surface.
“i found her. she’s okay.” y/n breathed out once they were with the rest of the group.
the kids ended up spending the days together, teaching them to hold their breath, teaching them sign language, and about the animals and how to ride them.
y/n’s crush on kiri grew larger by the day, and so did kiri’s.
one day, kiri wanted to be on her own. not in a lonely, depressing, no-one-likes-me way.
in a cute aesthetic alone girly way. she laid in the shallow waters by the beach, facing down and watching the crabs hide under the sand.
when ao’nung and some of his friends were wandering around the beach, they found kiri in her position.
kiri was entranced by the animals until the bullies came to ruin it. she heard them say something and lifted her head up to see who was saying things.
“hm? did you say something?” she asked kindly, standing up to look at them properly.
ao’nung’s smirk grew. “are you some kind of.. freak?” he asked.
his other friend continued teasing. “he asked if you were a freak.”
the others laughed under their breaths.
kiri scoffs. “no..”
she tried walking past them but they surrounded her.
“are you sure? i mean, you’re not even real na’vi.” ao’nung chuckled.
“just look at your hands.” he pointed to kiri’s hand.
kiri tried ignoring them but they wouldn’t get out of her way.
ao’nung then got a hold of her hand. “i mean, look at them!” he laughed tauntingly.
kiri glared at the boy and snatched her hand back. they started making fun of her other attributes before her brother come up to the beach to tell them to back up.
y/n had just finished hunting and was making her way down the beach, from the far side of the village.
then she saw her brother and his friends pulling lo’ak’s tail and pushing him around, calling the siblings names. she grew incredibly furious.
she dropped her things on the sand and rushed over.
she pushed her brother off of lo’ak.
“what’s wrong with you?” she scolded.
“y/n, go home. we’re just having some fun.” he said, rolling his eyes.
“it doesn’t look like they’re having fun.” she responded.
she turned to look at kiri. “are you okay? are you?” she asked lo’ak.
lo’ak scoffs and steps away from the friends to stand by kiri.
“we’re fine.” kiri said.
“listen to your big brother, little girl.” one of ao’nung’s friends said. he shoved her shoulder and she glared at him.
“don’t touch me.” she hissed
“what are you going to do? cry?” he teased, pushing her once more.
“you’re friends with these freaks now?” another asked y/n.
ao’nung stepped in. “alright that’s enough.” he shoved them away from his sister.
he looks down at her. “just go home. you’ll probably make things worse for us anyways.”
she rolls her eyes. she looks at the siblings who were now joined by neteyam, who was out swimming and heard all the yelling before coming to see them.
“come on. let’s get you home.” y/n sighed out,
they started to walk off the beach with y/n behind them and the friends started taunting the siblings as they walked away.
y/n heard all the hurtful things coming out of ao’nung’s mouth and was disappointed. she had looked up to him her whole life and then she finds out that this is the kind of boy he wants to be.
“she’s a freak just like that one.”
y/n sighs and turned around. the one who most annoyed her was the friend that looked like rotxo. but was uglier.
“what’d you say?” she slowly made her way to the boy.
“i said you’re. a. fre-“
before he could finish, y/n threw her fist into the boy’s jaw, making him stumble backward, and then another time. this time and uppercut to the chin, making him fall over.
she shook her hand a bit, feeling her knuckles pulse from hitting him so hard. she looked down and her knuckles were bright red.
“y/n!” a stern voice called out. y/n paused in fear and glanced over to see her father charging over to the group.
they all tried shuffling to get out of tonowari’s way before he looked at the scene in front of him.
the boy’s nose was bleeding and was being held by his friend and the siblings were watching in fear, amusement, and admiration.
in that order. neteyam was scared for y/n, lo’ak thought she was the coolest person ever, and kiri didn’t know whether she wanted to be her or be with her.
“we’re going home.” he said quietly. he stepped aside and y/n started walking down the beach while holding her fist in her other hand.
as y/n walked past kiri, she smiled softly at her before continuing.
once the father and daughter were in their marui, he didn’t waste any time in scolding her.
“what did i tell you? hm?” he asked.
she sighed. “do not cause trouble.”
“but you go ahead and cause trouble anyway.” he grumbled.
she kept her eyes down at her feet, still holding her fist in her other hand.
“you are constantly disobeying my orders. what am i going to do with you?” he sighed angrily.
“father, ao’nung and his friends were making fun of kiri and her family. i was defending them. i didn’t-”
“that doesn’t mean you can hit people. ” he said angrily.
she sighed and looks down.
“you will be punished. no riding your ilu for a month, do you understand?”he said, pointing his finger at her.
y/n looks down at her fist before up at her father again.
“yes, sir.”
tonowari nods leaves the marui for her to be on her own and y/n tries her best to scream quietly.
she didn’t want to be alone at home, so she left and went back to the beach to patch up her fist.
she was struggling the wrap the bandages around her hand and kept cleaning up blood so it would spill everywhere.
“need some help?” someone asked. y/n looks up and sees kiri’s head peeking out through large plants growing out of the sand.
“oh.. kiri, hi.” y/n smiled.
kiri walks over and sits with her legs crossed in front of y/n.
she helped clean the wound before slowly wrapping it.
“you punched that boy.. because of you? right?” kiri started.
“what?”
“you punched him because he called you a freak.” kiri repeated.
“no, i punched him because he called you a freak.” y/n said.
“you didn’t have to do that, you know.” kiri sighs.
“why?” y/n muttered.
“he’s right. i am a freak. you shouldn’t punch people because they’re right.” she said softly.
“kiri, he was not right. you are not a freak because you’re different.” y/n said.
kiri stays looking down at her hand.
“but i’m still different.”
“so? it’s good to be different. do you know how boring it would be if we were all the same?” y/n said, laughing slightly.
kiri laughs along too. she finished up with the bandages and turns y/n’s hand over so her palm is facing up.
“i think your hands are cool.” y/n said.
kiri looks at her with an amusing look. “what? really?”
y/n nods. kiri smiled and looked back down at their hands.
“and i also think it’s cute how you have small fangs.” y/n chuckled.
“that’s a weird compliment.” kiri said looking up.
“i mean what i say.” y/n shrugged.
kiri laughs slightly. “no one’s really said that to me before. my brothers usually make fun of my fangs.”
“why? you’re so cute.” y/n smiled.
kiri’s heart was pounding outside her chest. she never thought of herself as cute until y/n said something.
“you know you don’t have to say.. these things right? i know i’m weird,-“
“kiri, you are not weird. and you are not a freak.” y/n grumbled.
kiri’s eyes widened at her sudden change of tone, making y/n laugh softly.
“i know you think that because you’re born from a human that you’re weird and different and a freak but honestly?.. you’re really cool!”
“huh? how am i cool?” she laughed.
“well, first this hair. it’s so silky and thin.” her hand rose to kiri’s short hair and she fluffed it up and down.
“you don’t have to sit for hours having your hair braided, do you?” she asked kiri, taking her hand back.
“i guess not, but-“
“and your hands! come on, compared to yours, mine are more weird. look.” she put her hand up to kiri’s and they put their palms against each others.
kiri’s hand was slightly bigger with her pinky finger sticking out.
“and what are these? you have hair on your face.” y/n put her fingers up to kiri’s eyesbrows and she traced them with her thumbs on each hand.
“uh- okay, y/n-“ kiri sputtered, pulling her head back slightly.
“so cool! you’re like a super na’vi.” y/n muttered in admiration.
kiri laughs and takes her wrist, taking her hand away from her face. her grip softened and she held y/n’s hand in hers.
“you’re my friend now.” y/n said.
“and it’s important that my friends are comfortable with themselves. and know how to care for themselves.” she continued.
it seemed almost impossible for kiri to look y/n in the eye. she felt that if she would, she’d kiss her and wouldn’t be able to stop.
“it’s important you know who you are. you are not a freak. not a weirdo.” y/n said. every word that poured out of her mouth was true.
kiri breathed out and finally replied. “i’ve been told things like that my entire life.. but i don’t think i have believed it until you said it.” she said, sounding almost surprised.
“why is that, kiri?” y/n asked. she was genuinely curious as to why kiri was just now believing this.
y/n’s face was now just an inch away from kiri’s. she wanted to kiss her but wasn’t sure if she actually should.
neither of them were sure. but they knew they very much wanted to.
kiri’s head mixed with how she should answer y/n and whether she should just kiss her.
they still held each other’s hands and y/n was beginning to lean into her.
“i think it’s because.. i like you. more than i’ve ever liked anyone.” kiri said softly. she grew lost in y/n’s bright blue eyes that shined like aquamarine.
y/n’s heart picked up the pace, hearing kiri’s words. she smiled softly before leaning in closer and kissing kiri.
all their problems disappeared in an instance. kiri’s hand went up to y:n’s head where she held it.
they pull away for a moment to look at each other before smiling into another kiss.
y/n’s bandaged hand went to the back of kiri’s neck as she kissed her, feeling ecstatic now that she knew kiri felt the same way.
after years of believing it was bad for kiri to be different, it wasn’t until she met her that she realized that being a freak is not who she truly is.
and it’s time she stopped believing it.

And maybe some make out
night ride
author’s note. HIYA MIZU!!! i’m glad to know that there’s more minhyun enthusiasts than me n zanna fr fr!! thank you for the req and i hope you enjoy it, even tho it’s a lil short :(

“oh come on, it’ll be fun!”
there’s a mischievous smirk dancing on your boyfriend’s lips and you’re not sure if you like it even one bit.
“baby, i know you’re a professional… however, i can’t help but feel scared. so no thank you” you grunt and poke his chest that’s adorned by a leather jacket. minhyun grins and grabs your hand, pulling you closer. the sudden impact causes you to stumble and straight-on bump into his chest.
“oh come on, just a little ride” your boyfriend hums, his voice next to your head causing goosebumps to grow hot on your skin “no one will see us, i promise”
minhyun knows you like a back of his hand. and he sees that you’re debating it – which could be already considered a victory.
“okay, fine. whatever” you grumbled, still not fully convinced. minhyun gently grabbed your chin with his calloused fingers and planted a sweet kiss on your lips.
“we’ll be safe, if you’re worried. and i can get you food afterwards…?” he tilted his head like an innocent and intrigued puppy but he was quite the opposite – a mischievous cat, that’s bribing you into doing something he wants.
mere moments later you found yourself clutching into minhyun’s broad and toned back like a koala. you thought you were squeezing the life out of him with the tightness of your grip.
the view was beautiful, you had to admit. the lights in buildings of afar were flashing due to the constant, fast movement. the black night sky contrasted with them beautifully, the panoramic of the city at night starting to creep up into the top 3 of your favourite views. with hwang minhyun, your one and only boyfriend, being a proud winner and holding the number 1 spot.
the helmet you had prevented your hair from blowing into all the directions. in the comfort of the blinking stars and passing by other cars with an unimaginable speed, you allowed yourself to relax (obviously not letting go of your grip).
minhyun took off his helmet and ruffled his hair, the corners of his lips going up in a teasing manner.
“so? it wasn’t that bad, pretty?” he hummed, taking off yours. you pouted, looking at his handsome face.
“mhm” you mumbled.
the place where minhyun took you was a beach. he parked his motorcycle at the parking that had a view of the seashore, the waves crushing with a soothing sound.
“it’s beautiful here” you sighed, lips slowly turning into a smile.
“not as you, though” he grinned and his gloved hand cupped your cheeks gently. “a kiss for your badass boyfriend?”
“ah, don’t be so cocky now” you giggled and nodded, letting him know that he can kiss you.
minhyun’s lips landed on you softly, letting himself enjoy the moment. he tasted like vanilla and smelled like it too – his cologne filled your nose due to the proximity. your boyfriend kissed away the remains of the stress that the night ride caused. but with that prize at the end of the road, you were willing to go to such trips more often.

The Waves of the Eternal Sea
PROLOGUE: "A REFUGE"
author's note: so sorry to the people who wanted to read Tourmaline's story, and never got to!!! Instead, I gift you the prologue of a new story of mine to make up for it! It's set in fukuoka, japan!

Slowly losing my breath, I could barely feel like I had the strength and energy to run anymore. I wanted to run away so badly. I so desperately want to just abandon everything and just run away from this situation. School, poverty…barely being able to feed myself…having to put up with everything my mother says to me and every time she has a whole childish tantrum, sometimes for a reason I’m not even sure of. I’m just a kid! What is a twelve-year old like me supposed to do in this wretched situation?!
Though…at this very moment, as I stop to catch a breath and calm down, I realize I’m at the beach I’ve always loved visiting as a kid. A tear trickles down my face, as I recall all the happy memories I’ve had at this place. Somehow, just looking at the sea seems to calm me down instantly. Slowly, I sat down on the cool sand and wiped my tears, quietly enjoying the view of the sea.
Just moments later, I hear steps quickly rushing behind me, steps which sound like that of a small child. Then, that very child bumped into me.
“--Ah! Oh…I’m so sorry! I didn’t think anyone would be here at this time of the night..”
It was a boy..he looked of a similar age as me…or maybe as tall as the other kids at school would look. I could tell he must have been running away from something, too. Or maybe running from someone. He had a pretty appearance, but his eyes were red, and you could see how wet his face must have been from tears. It was obvious he was crying. It was a sad sight to see.
Looking up at the boy, I calmly said, “It’s fine. It’s not like I own this place anyway. I don’t mind. You’re here for the sea, right? If you want, you can just sit next to me and enjoy the view.”
At least, from my perspective, I seemed calm. The boy probably thought so, too. Without a word, he sat down next to me and started to stare at the sea longingly. It was a strange look on his face, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I had the exact same expression on my face, too. Maybe it was a few hours or so that had passed by, but it had been a long time since we started, and that was when the boy started a bit of conversation before he left.
“...How old are you? You’re smaller than me so you’re younger than me, right? Or you could be the same age as me, maybe. Sometimes people don’t look the age they are. Oh! Speaking of, what’s your name? I'm Shiro Aikawa!”
Shiro seems to be a pretty talkative boy..bright and positive, too. I do wonder what could have happened to him before coming here, but I’m sure it’s not my business to ask. I hesitated a bit before speaking, and looked up at the night sky for a bit, then looked back at him.
“M-my name is Emi..Shimizu, I’m…twelve.” Looks like my nerves are worked up again. Maybe I’m just not that used to speaking with other people yet. I was doing pretty good earlier.
Shiro’s eyes lit up. “Twelve! Woah! Hehe, we’re the same age! I actually just turned twelve today! Or yesterday? I’m not expecting a happy birthday or anything though, it’d probably have ended by now, after all. Plus, I think the sun is rising…”
“I-I see. Happy birthday. E-even though it’s over, I do hope you had a great one. I’m glad you got to see the sun rise, at least” I smiled at Shiro as I wished him a happy birthday.
He scratched his head a bit and chuckled. “Haha…well it wasn’t the best, but probably better than the other ones I’ve had so far. Still horrible, though. But seeing this pretty view and getting to talk to you made it better. I should probably get going now..It was nice to meet you.”
I nodded to him as I saw him slowly disappearing into the distance. I think…I may not be as alone, for now. I hope we’ll see each other again.
Eventually, we would get to see each other often, both upset with their lives, we ran to the sea. Sometimes, we would talk about our troubles, but not all the time. Other times, we would just leave each other alone and bask in each other and the sea’s company. The fish looked so peaceful swimming down there. Perhaps I could dare to even say there might be hope lingering by for the both of us in the future. All I knew, was that the sea…became our refuge.

Tamaki: I offered before, I told him it looked yummy and he asked me, "What's the point of it having a 5 yen shape?” I’ve been thinking about that!
Haruka: That is something he’d say! lolol but I'm sure he'll look happy when you eat it. Maybe I'll invite him to a game next time.

Tamaki: You're not my senior!!

Haruka: You know, I felt really uncomfortable at first when you used honorifics with me.
Haruka: I don't want a junior who’s taller than me lolol
Tamaki: Even though he's tall, he's still a cute junior 🥺
Tamaki: "I'll be in a band with my senior!” something like that
Haruka: Well, Yotsuba in the drama was somewhat cute.
Haruka: He was too timid to express his own opinion. He has a talent for composing, but he lacked confidence. 🥺
Tamaki: Hehe
Tamaki: Ismin was really good too. He gave me a boost when I was feeling down about my lack of self-confidence .
Haruka: You mean when he sang a cappella?
Tamaki: Yeahhh!!
Tamaki: "I want to show off to the world that there's someone who can write such amazing songs!”, and then he sang for us!

Tamaki: Really felt like a youthful moment
Haruka: Well, I guess…
Tamaki: Speaking of youth, I forgot to do my English homework for tomorrow.
Haruka: Weird way to remember but I’m glad you did at least?!
Haruka: We’ll have a mini test on the vocabulary from this homework.

Vacation Gone Wrong
Law insists on taking you up to a cabin in the mountains for his short mini vacation off work. But once you arrive, you start to realize this certainly isn’t gonna be an ordinary trip to a cabin.
Warnings: My attempt at writing something scary, but also keeping it somewhat fluffy. So idk how good it is, lol. Modern au, suggestive comments, but no smut (Also: part two with smut? Yes or no)
Tumblr media
You’d always known Law was the type of man who enjoyed a quiet vacation where he didn’t have to be concerned with going places all day. He’d taken you to small beach houses for just the two of you, stuff like that. But this was a whole new level of “quiet”.
A cabin. Up in the mountains.
You knew how gorgeous the mountains were up there, but you also knew of all the freaky things that happened. Supernatural things. But of course, Law was the type to brush those things off, saying it’s all stupid stories for horror.
You’d looked up the cabin online, and it did seem quite nice. There were other cabins around, so if a murderer went after you, at least you had somewhere to run to. There was also a small town nearby, slightly down the mountain, so at least civilization wasn’t too far. But still, you couldn’t shake the feeling that something about this was odd. Maybe you were just paranoid.
So, the day came where you packed your bags and hopped into the car with your husband and white fluffy dog in tow. Hey, at least you had a big scary dog to scare intruders away. Although, Bepo was more of the cuddly type, unfortunately (or not?).
At first, the car ride was fine. You and Law took turns playing your favorite CDs, played stupid billboard games, and just talked. But then as the road became more wooded and narrow, that feeling crept back into you.
“Law, I feel weird,” you mentioned.
“Carsick?” He asked.
“No, like, I have a bad feeling about this. Anything could be up there.”
The man just rolled his eyes and smirked at you. “Oh yeah, I heard there were reports of a man wandering the woods at night, targeting women with (color) hair and big fluffy dogs.”
You smacked his arm, “Law! Stop it! I’m serious.”
“But I’m not,” he said, placing his hand that wasn’t on the steering wheel onto your thigh. “I’ll protect you, k?”
Then it was your turn to roll your eyes, “yeah right. I’ll be dead before you even believe me when I say there’s a serial killer in the house.”
Law chuckled. “Now I’m being serious, honey. I will protect you from whatever it may be.”
You felt his palm gently squeeze your thigh, and you relaxed just a little bit. Maybe this wouldn’t be so bad, right? Law’s super intimidating, naturally, so he would be able to protect you.
Sighing, you thought to yourself that you hated the overthinker inside yourself.
The cabin was nice, probably nicer than it had looked in the photos, despite being somewhat old. There was a small kitchen to the right and a decently sized living room with windows that looked out to the mountains on your left. There was also a bedroom and bathroom in the back, along with a deck.
In the five hours you’d been there, you double, triple, then lost count of the amount of times you’d checked that the doors all locked properly. Law had tried to tell you it was fine the second time, but he knew that nothing could ease your mind.
So he started making dinner, trying to at least pamper you a bit to calm your nerves. He made your favorite dish and served your favorite drink for you.
Sitting at the dinner table together, he smiled at you. “I told you this would be nice, (y/n)-ya.”
“Yeah, I guess. The views are breathtaking, but this setting is just too perfect for a horror mo-“
“Enough,” Law said, “nothing will happen to you. You know that I would kill someone for you, and that Bepo can be protective when he needs to. We’ll be okay.”
“I know, but-“
“Love,” he sighed. “What can I do to get your mind off it?”
“Hmm… we could watch a movie, I guess.”
“No horror films,” Law noted. “They’ll only make it worse.”
“Right…”
You were limited to the DVDs that the owners of the cabin had available. At least the TV was somewhat newer, though. You’d probably break down if it was a box TV, imagining the ring girl crawling out the entire time.
You picked out your favorite (non-scary) movie, and Law set it up, turning the TV on. You nearly jumped five feet in the air when it turned on to a static screen, the volume being way too high.
“Law! Make it stop!” You yelled.
“I’m trying!” He muttered through gritted teeth, trying to get the remote to work.
Finally, he got it to the DVD player input, where the selection screen of the movie awaited you. He pushed play and put an arm around you, pulling you close so he could drape a blanket over both of you.
With the movie now playing, Law holding you close and Bepo curled up at your feet, you suddenly felt a lot safer.
You were now about an hour into the film, and it had since become completely dark outside, resulting in the other areas of the cabin completely dark. The only light was emitting from the TV and a singular lamp you’d left on. Because you were so distracted by the movie, you didn’t quite notice this for a while. Until…
Out of the corner of your eye, you could’ve sworn you saw a shadow that wasn’t there before. But as soon as you turned your head to look, it was gone.
Probably nothing. After all, you hadn’t really seen anything.
Until then you swear the shadow was now moving, almost a figure walking down the dark hallway. You completely turned your head this time.
Law noticed, quite obviously as your head was previously leaning between his shoulder and neck, and the movement had alerted him.
“Y/n-ya? Something wrong?” He honestly didn’t even sound concerned.
“I thought… I saw someone…” you whispered, scared of speaking loudly for some reason.
“Babe, you need to stop thinking about that stuff. There’s nothing here that can harm you.”
“Maybe it won’t harm me,” you began saying, “but… I swear I can feel it watching me, even now,” you finished, voice shaking.
“Y/n.”
“It- it’s probably staring right at me, waiting-“
You let out a scared gasp when Law’s hand was suddenly holding your face, turning it toward his own and away from the hallway so that he could kiss you, deeply. Instinctively, your hands wrapped around him and you pulled yourself close.
“Law… what are you doing?”
“Gotta do something to distract you,” he stated, “if this movie ain’t working, how about we turn it off and go to bed.”
“B-but, what if I have nightmares-“
“I think you misunderstood me,” he sighed. “I’ll keep distracting you, in bed.”
The following morning, you woke up sore but well rested. Honesty, you hadn’t even thought about the shadow since when you thought you’d seen it.
You were surprised to see that Law wasn’t in bed with you. However, your fluffy white companion was curled up beside you. At least he’d left Bepo with you, wherever he went.
You sat up and stretched, grabbing your phone off the wooden nightstand, and seeing a text from Law that read;
“I’m at the town just down the road. Grabbing groceries. I’ll be back soon. Bepo is with you to protect you.”
You rolled your eyes at his last comment, setting your phone down and getting up.
You decided a shower was needed, as you hadn’t taken one since before you’d left for the mountains. So you stepped out of the bedroom, making sure to wake Bepo and have him follow you, and then headed to the bathroom.
As you stepped into the bathroom, you decided you’d leave the door open so Bepo could come in and out. You didn’t want to lock him in, but you didn’t want to leave him alone either. Or maybe you just didn’t want to be alone.
Stripping yourself of the little clothing you had on, you stepped into the warm shower and closed your eyes. The hot water dripped down your figure, and you relaxed.
Until you swear you heard a noise.
Opening your eyes, you peeked out from the curtain to see Bepo laying on the floor outside the shower. Must’ve been him, you supposed.
Closing your eyes once again, you started massaging shampoo into your scalp, almost forcing yourself to relax.
Then there was another noise. A door opening and closing.
Law must’ve been back! Now you finally weren’t alone. Well, alone with a dog.
“Law? I’m in the shower, babe!”
No response. Odd.
You figured he would join you, until moments went by and he never did. You’d heard Bepo get up and leave the bathroom, but that was it. Not even the creaking of the floors from Law walking around.
Finally, you finished your shower and stepped out, wrapping a plush towel around yourself. You grabbed the dirty laundry and stepped out of the bathroom, looking toward the kitchen. For just a second, you saw Law’s figure, walking into the pantry. Had he been putting away groceries all this time?
“Law, I’ll be in the bedroom. Also, don’t know why you’re not talking. Not that it’s unlike you, but you can at least respond to your wife.”
No response, again. Rolling your eyes, you walked away into the bedroom, shutting the door behind you. Maybe just a bit harder than you normally would, so he’d know you were annoyed.
Just as you finished putting a shirt on, you heard Bepo bark a couple of times, and then a door opening and closing once again. Then, a voice.
“Bepo, what’re you barking at? Where’s y/n?”
Wait. What.
You just told him where you were! Was Law now not listening to you as well?!
You stepped out of the bedroom, a confused look on your face. “Law, what do you mean where am I? I just told you five minutes ago.”
“What? Y/n-ya, I just got back. Right now.”
Your eyes widened, face going pale with fright.
“Wh-what do you mean? I just saw you when I got out of the shower?”
“You saw me?” He questioned.
“Yes! I heard the door open and close while I was in the bathroom, and when I walked out I saw you walk into the pantry!”
“I’ve barely walked five feet into the door, let alone gone into the kitchen, y/n. What are you talking about?”
Chills went down your spine, and without thinking you ran to your lover and wrapped your arms around him, shivering.
“Law, I’m telling you, something is odd about this cabin!”
“Hmm… are you sure you didn’t imagine it? Did you hit your head while I was gone at all?” He asked, running one of his hands over your head.
“No! I’m serious. But… wait. Bepo was barking at something.”
“Yeah, and he never barks at me when I come home…” Law noted in a more serious tone.
You frowned. “Law, I wanna go home. This place is weird.”
“Let’s just… see how today plays out.”
Later that day, you were laying on the couch, wrapped up in blankets. The incident from earlier had honestly slipped your mind at this point.
Law was in the kitchen, cooking dinner again. He hadn’t said what he was making, but he’d been in there for quite a while. Right now, you could smell oil heated up in a pan, along with the sound of Law chopping something up.
You yawned, thinking that maybe you should take a nap before dinner. You didn’t quite sleep last night, for various reasons, so you were really quite tired.
Then you heard Law.
“Y/n?”
You opened your eyes, sitting up and looking behind you towards him. “Yeah?”
Then Law looked really confused. “What? Didn’t you just walk out onto the deck…?”
“No. I’ve been laying here the whole time,” you told him.
“What the hell…?” He mumbled.
“Okay, Law, this isn’t fucking normal. We should leave.”
He was silent for a moment, but began nodding slowly. “After dinner we’ll pack up. Spend the rest of my days off at home.”
You let out a sigh of relief, glad that you’d be out of this horribly creepy cabin.
During dinner, things were relatively normal. It had started raining in the time between Law seeing a fake you and right now.
The two of you ate in silence, other than Bepo’s loud chewing as he ate the meat Law cooked him on the floor. Spoiled as ever, was he.
There had been a few creaks here and there, but the two of you had chalked it up to the storm causing it. It was an older house, after all.
But other than that, nothing but the sound of rain pattering against the windows and roof.
“What can we do at home, since we’re not staying here,” you wondered.
“Just… relax, I guess,” Law said.
You’d quietly nodded, trying to think of literally anything else to do. If you had to do nothing but sit around, you’d keep thinking of whatever this thing was that kept imitating you and Law.
Without any other occurrences, the both of you finished dinner quietly and put the dishes in the sink. Law began washing them, and you decided you’d start packing up for you and also him, to make things go faster.
But when you opened the bedroom door…
You let out a shriek, staring in horror as all of your things were scattered on the floor. You certainly hadn’t done it, Law would never in a million years make such a mess, and Bepo had been beside you the entire time! Which meant…
Law ran in behind you, his hand landing on your back to somewhat comfort you as he stopped his movements.
“What the hell happened?!”
“I… our stuff… it… threw it all over the floor while we ate?”
“Shit, we gotta fucking leave,” Law cursed, flying into action to start picking up the mess. You went to join him, not even realizing you were about to cry.
This stuff only happened in movies! This was beyond ridiculous, and you were terrified.
At lightning speed, you and Law got everything together and started rushing it all out the door and into the car.
When you went back in for the final bag, you felt a breeze rush through your body, despite none of the windows being open. And then a deep voice, whispering in your ear;
“Get. Out.”
You screamed, holding the final bag tight and running outside to the car, where Law was turning it on, Bepo already inside.
“It fucking told me to get out! What the fuck?!”
Law grumbled something about this place being cursed, getting the car ready and quickly turning it around to drive off.
You were just glad to finally be out of that cabin.
Upon returning home, Law had apologized for not taking you seriously at first. But really, was it his fault? Of course seeing shadows and having a weird feeling sounded dumb. But then you thought of the other stuff, and it still scared you despite being hours away.
You’d cuddled up with your lover and beloved pet in bed, feeling much more safe now.
“So… any other ideas?” You asked.
Law’s arms gently squeezed you from behind, and he sighed. “Well, not really. I did have one idea, though.”
“and what’s that?” You questioned, turning your head and raising an eyebrow at him.
“Finding every possible spot in this house for me to fuck you in,” he relied with a smirk.
You shifted so you could raise an arm and playfully smack him. “You’re so crude,” you whined.
“Then you think of something,” he rolled his eyes.
“Hm… well, I never said I wouldn’t do it,” you said with a wink.
