Halfway done with NaNoWriMo and so far so good. Didn't do the best today, got rained on after like 10 minutes of archery and later today after 3 hours of Zoom calls in a row in the evening Word crashed due to fucking Windows Updates

Lost two paragraphs even though autosave and I'm saving every 5 minutes or so which was upsetting. Couldn't remember the wording and had to try and come up with it again.

But at least I got something done

The chapter is finished now. Hope tomorrow I'll feel better but I'm pretty exhausted now, maybe tomorrow is finally time for a 0 word day.

My mom informed just today that my American (second) cousin and her husband and baby daughter are going to visit my parents’ cottage tomorrow and she was hoping I could drive grandma there as well.

Which is fine. Better than spending the Midsummer’s all alone I suppose.

But I haven’t seen my cousin in more than 15 years I think and obviously I’ve only seen her husband/daughter in pictures only, so, I’m kind of. Curious? Nervous? I don’t know.

i know the people who specifically got to the boat on time probably doesn't matter too much, but the visual of seven or so people on this giant cruise ship, knowing how many people got left behind is something that can drive me so insane. when the bomb goes off, they've gotten far enough away for the damage to be minimal. none of them really feel anything at all at first, just watching all hell break loose from the railing of the boat. fit, phil, tubbo, charlie, roier, bagi, and etoiles. maybe mouse as well, if only able to board by the skin of her teeth. for some, the emotion hits like a truck. for others, the empty feeling lingers in their chest for hours on end.

most of them settle in to some extent, eventually. etoiles begins helping phil with his freshly broken wings (tubbo would try to help however he could, but he doesn't have as much medical experience as etoiles.) charlie would show tubbo and fit the control room, to see if they could figure the boat out, lest they drift aimlessly into the middle of the ocean. mouse and charlie try their best to shoot the shit for a little while, maybe look for fresh food, water, and beddings for everyone. bagi helps them with the latter, because even if it fucking sucks, they should try to survive, for all the people that didn't. roier can't bring himself to do much of anything. by sunset, they have a little set-up of blankets and pillows in the bridge. but come nightfall, they're all on the bow of the ship, staring up at the starry night sky. their little group of escapees, left to drift for who knows how long.

none of them sleep that night.

they have now revealed another character for ride kamens, hayate, and it looks like he's a kr jin homage? glad they confirmed that it's not only titular riders getting representation, but still, a pretty off the cuff surprise for me

yeah, Jin is a welcome pull, but a pretty weird one! I saw the post when it dropped (don't ask why I was looking at twitter at 3 AM) and the replies were. very confused. :') nice to see some Jin rep though! and if this opens the door to characters based on more deepcut riders, all the better!

of course, if they really want to stay true to the spirit of Jin, we know what he'll be like

Howdy! This is a rework of a comic that I made in the late summer of last year all in one evening in a hyperfocused fugue state because I am totally normal about Trigun (and Vashwood)... Then me and the friend that gave me the Vashwood brainrot decided we were going to make our own little Vashwood zine and I definitely wanted to come back to this to see if could improve upon it. The original lives here if you want to take a peek.

I feel like I've grown a bit in a couple of months and I'm itching to draw some more Vashwood stuff for our little zine as a kind of self-indulgent project. I went to play Stardew Valley but instead my computer has decided to throw a BSOD every five minutes for no clear reason that I can get from the event viewer, so I guess I'm waiting for the memory diagnostic to run instead and that's going to take...at the speed it's going and the amount of RAM I have...all night at minimum. Yaaaaay. >:\ I can fix it, I'm pretty sure, but man, let me play Stardew Valley. I was excited about the update.

I'm so glad I write on my phone. I'd shit the bed at least as hard as my computer is if I had to stop just because SOMEONE decided to throw a goddamn KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE multiple times in a row and die instead of doing their job. Like bro come on I throw errors all day and you don't see me shutting down about it, Dagstjarna.

(That's my computer's name, and also a FFXIV RP character, but that's traditionally how I name electronics. The only real exception was The New Hotness, my previous desktop.)
