🎩 Common understanding of the position of pastor seems to be one who wears all the hats of ministry, but is this accurate? 🤔 The term did not get applied to the position that we know until the Protestant movement. 🕰 Pastor literarily means “Shepherd.” 🐑 So perhaps we should look to the metaphorical image of shepherd found in scripture for insight of who the pastor really is. Group of people to summon and strongly influence the action or a conduct into affair of a city.

✨It is not just a club or a community.

The church is being called out.

We are called out for a purpose.

We see the Church not just on Sundays but we see Church 24/7.

It is a movement.

We are focus up and also focus out and praying for the new things so we can clearly see into the world.

Colossians 1:18.

He is also the head [ the life source and leader ]. We are the body.

Whatever you does prosper.

The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though you feel small, it impacted the whole bread.

Carry Christ and understand that we have a role.

✨Seekf first the Kingdom of God and all of these things shall be added unto you.

God knows and He will add those unto you.

When you open the heart of God, you see people.

🙏Your breakthrough is a seed away.

For us to be an ecclesia it must happen outside the Church.

✨Simple ways. Just think of simple ways to bless and pray for people.

Understand that we are ecclesia.

1️⃣ See the world the God redeem us.

A prayer will be game changer this year of 2022. Remember what He did, Jesus go up to the mountain to pray and as He go low boom!💣🔥

miracles, healings, provisions . . .

Declare His rule and reign.

Know the value of praying.

Pray in the spirit.

Whereever you go, pray for people.

2️⃣ See your work as your worship.

And that's a wrap for the St. Jude Parish 2019 Summer Youth Program! So many people to be grateful for, -to them we say THANK YOU! But above all, our praises and thanksgiving goes out to God for being the guiding hand these past few weeks, more so today as we went to every parish church to know about its history, pray the Stations of the Cross, and venerate their sacred relics. These amazing youth are inquisitive troopers who got to learn about their faith, and their local church in such a deep and meaningful way. "May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." - Romans 15:5 (NIV) The Roman church was a diverse community. I think we can agree the same goes for today's "church" which literally consists of Christians all over the world. But it was difficult for the church members back then to accept each other, because of their so many differences. "Accepting" means taking people into our homes as well as into our hearts, so literally and metaphorically. Obviously, during this "season" the world is in we aren't going to invite complete strangers into our homes but nevertheless we share our homes, our hearts, meals and activities, choosing to avoid racial and/or economic discrimination. We basically have to go out of our way to avoid favoritism because it's so easy to fall into that trap, in any aspect of life. We should consciously spend time greeting people we don't normally talk to, minimize our differences, and seek common ground for fellowship. This is especially true for today because everyone is feeling things they've never felt, battling things mentally and/or emotionally and we need to remember to extend grace and accept others in the same way Christ accepted us — giving God all the glory! Even the simplest acknowledgment of someone makes a difference. We try so hard to avoid people and literally everything, in fear of what's around us, not even realizing it sometimes. Take the time to say hello even from a distance, or smile through your mask and wave.
