Studyblr Intro Post™

I already had an intro post but I'm revamping this blog now so here we go again

About me:

- I'm a Latin American student in my second year of university, getting a Bachelor's degree in Animation

- I am an adult, queer, and use he/him pronouns, you can call me Icarus

- I have ADHD, which means that even though I'm formally studying Animation, I may be interested in 112 different things at any point in time

Blog stuff:

- Mostly chaotic academia shit, tips for studying with ADHD, photos of my journal and desk, and maybe rambling about topics I'm interested in

- Posts about my study schedule, classes, topics, grades, etc etc

- Maybe, maybe, I'll share some of the artwork I do for classes. Just maybe.

My interests:

- Art and animation, obviously. My main interest is in 2D game animation, but that might change as I progress through college

- Language learning. Currently, I can speak Portuguese (native), English (around C1/C2) and Japanese (B1)

- Biology! Mostly human biology, but biology in general fascinates me

- Music of any kind, good or bad, as long as I can vibe to it I'm in

- Journaling, planning, organization, stationery supplies, I love paper and anything you can do with it

- History is also a big interest of mine, but usually I'm more focused on niche topics like the life of a specific person or a particular time period of a specific country or culture, that kinda stuff

That's basically it, I just wanna interact with people in the studyblr community and share tips and photos and whatnot, studying is fun so I wanna share that fun with more people ^^

February / week of 11-17

• Didn't really fill it all up because I was very tired and fatigued the whole week. I was also stressing out towards the end of the week because I need to pack for a 4-day work trip.

• One of my stressors was the fact that my commonplace journal has been out of stock for the last two months lmao and I was afraid that it might be phased out already so I messaged the company last week and they said that it's just really out of stock. I don't know but that still stressed me out so I stopped myself from commonplacing for like the longest time and did my research instead in the hopes to find a new book to work with. Unfortunately that made me a lot more stressed because I can't find any good replacement - my current one is just perfect for all my needs. Then this morning, I awoke to a notification from the company's official shop saying that it has restocked! So I ordered two and am actually pondering if I should order one more or is that too overkill 😅

Updated weekly, starting monday, april 10th! (Minus cals/day, those come tomorrow)

Intermittent Fasting: 530pm-930am -> 500pm-930am (half hour increase)

Other Fasting: it's one of my fasting weeks, so I will likely fast ~40 hours either monday night to wednesday morning or tuesday night to thursday morning (I will know for sure tomorrow)

Exercise: adding a mile of walking per day for a total of 3 miles! (I usually do more than that anyways, so i figured I should just make it consistent)

Other: as mentioned before, im gonna start posting mealspo, so I'm working on that (:

It's the weekend, and i'm excited for next week's changes to take place! Today is also my lowest goal date of this week, though I technically hit this goal on multiple other days this week, lol. That's how the stone rolls, I guess
