rao bits from my brain i made HIM very op and hes basically the devil

rao is a primordial entity that ruled over hell. he doesn't remember his own origins, as he has existed since before time and when "there were only monsters" like the soul king. he did not interact with shinigami until after the three worlds split. rao began raining chaos to torment the soul king for trying to seal hell away from the other worlds, eventually gets bored and begins making contracts with souls. rao worked for the gotei 13 under a contract with yamamoto and was basically a kido teacher and stand-in captain whenever they needed one. rao vanished after a major battle, that happened over 180 years ago, where he ended up in a state of existence and nonexistence. the echos of hell eventually reawakens rao.

rao's is a he/him [get it?? his infernal majesty also in a gender has no meaning type of way]

his eyes/horns/tail were not visible to shinigami during his contract with yamamoto. he has a few monster forms.

How I feel about this character: 

her character is so goddamn tragic, she lost her lover and then she was finally starting to heal and be happy again, and it all fell apart !!!! it hurts !!! it hurts so much !!! she lost herself in grief and pain and manipulation, and it hurts so god damn much. she lost everything and then she lost it all again and then she lost herself in it all and it took twenty years and thousands of deaths to try to bring her back. she was grieving, and all that could be thought to be done was to erase her pain, who she was, because it was that or panic and let her tear the world to shreds like it had torn her. god. she is also a silly old lady

unpopular opinion:

idk if this is unpopular, but she was partially at fault for the maligula incident. i do not hold it against her. in the end, it was theodores' fault, but she knew she was in an unstable state of mind, and she put herself in a volatile situation anyway. i understand why she did and probably would do the same. but she is not completely blameless, and in fact, acknowledging this really adds to her character and the tragedy of it all in my opinion

One thing I wish would happen in canon:

let her talk to augustus post game let them sort that out let them grieve together
