I’ve gotten a bunch of new followers in the last few days (not like a post-viral-post bunch but a noticeable number) and several of them are surely bots. Others appear to be human and just new here which I think might mean that my blog is getting recommended to people which is a little weird but I guess kind of flattering? Anyway…

If you are a human and just started following me please do at least one of the following:

Change your icon to anything other than the default or a lady in a bikini

Put something in your title text even if it’s “Not a bot” or “New to tumblr”

REBLOG SOME POSTS! This site runs on reblogs. You don’t have to find the perfect thing just reblog anything you like.

You can even write your own post! Write an intro post about what you like and what you’re looking at on tumblr or what fandoms you’re in.

Failure to do any of these things will get you blocked and reported as spam.

My main fandom is Harry Potter. I have a whole Harry Potter dog au on my art blog if you want to check that out. I also reblog a lot of Doctor Who and Warrior Cats content. This isn’t just a multi-fandom blog, expect posts about cute animals, science, computers, history, religion, cool artwork, memes, all sorts of stuff.

My ask box is open on both blogs. Ask me all sorts of random stuff or just send boops. I will answer questions about my art & au on my art blog and all other questions on this blog.

I try to keep politics and NSFW off this blog, and I will not answer questions about either. While I post art tutorials and references that I find useful, it’s not what I primarily post.

Just wanted to say hi to all my followers and welcome to all the new folks that have followed recently!

Thought I’d do a friendly PSA in case there are any new folks who came over from places like Twitter, TikTok, Instagram or other social medias:

Tumblr is a unique trash fire - and different from other social media sites - in that the only way it works well is by click the little “reblog” button in addition to the “like” button. Don’t get me wrong, likes are very much welcome and appreciated but the only way to get anyone’s stuff out There and seen is by using the reblog button.

Very different from, say, Twitter where things like quote-tweeting (twitter’s equivalent of reblog) are discouraged and considered “stealing attention from the OP.” Not so on Tumblr. Reblogs are how we share things with each other here. It helps content creators know that you liked something and want to share it with your friends.

It’s encouraging because it gets content in front of more eyes which drives engagement even more. More people get to see the cool thing and more creators feel encouraged to make stuff because other people enjoy it so much.

I like to think of it like this:

Likes are cake, reblogs are cake and ice cream

Hello all, I hope you’re all doing well 🥰💕!

I just wanted to say Hi and Welcome to the new followers I’ve gained recently and give you guys an update on how things are going 🥰!

Currently I am a *little* behind in requests (as in I haven’t written any in 2 days 😭) but I’ll try my best to catch up! I have…roughly 15-20 requests i think, but I’m not too sure.

I have some more HC’s and Fics coming out the next couple of days that I hope you enjoy, One is a YamiChar and the others are Xreaders. I have a few questions to answer regarding Leopold and I have an Alistar oneshot that’ll be coming up in the next couple of weeks.

I also have my COTF: Series chapters that I’m working on as well as Dandelions Wishes, I’m even working on Fractured a bit but that’s still very much in the beginning parts of the chapter.

There’ll also be a bit of a, hm, surprise for you guys in the coming days that I hope you all will enjoy 👀!

I’m also nearing 600 followers so I’m going to try and come up with event ideas, but I still have 4-5 500 follower requests to do, so it might be a while. But if you guys have any suggestions for what you’d like to see in a 600 event please let me know 🥰💕!
