after reading other peoples experiences, ive gotta talk about something that ive noticed is a pretty common thing amongst certain types of kin servers. and thats just… blacklists that are both user compiled and extremely strict.

this never made sense to me. especially if said blacklist is 400 miles long and has some of the wackiest shit on it. i actually still have access to the one from kin walmart, here are some of my favs:

- the word “bounce”

- the phrase “bouncing ball”

- mother mentions (all forms: mom, mother, etc)

- oranges (the fruit)

- school/mentions of schoolwork

- therapy

- Talking about private conversations/going to have a private conversation in a public setting

- any mention of the ocean

im also going to say, blacklists are fine. user compiled blacklists are okay but… i think there should be a better way to manage them. especially in spaces that have 100+ members. no hate to anyone who has these triggers either. i just think that there’s a line. there should be a line. and most times, ive found that the line is nonexistent. it should be up to user’s specifically to adjust their experience accordingly. im so sorry that i want to talk about the bouncing ball i stole from dollar general, maybe just dont read the conversation.

i understand that this take can be somewhat controversial, its why i don’t… talk about it without hiding behind anonymity. but i think, especially in kin spaces, blacklists are almost… idk.. taken advantage of?

NO YOU'RE SO RIGHT IS THE THING. there is a point where you need to be responsible for yourself and not place the responsibility/blame on others for not remembering every trigger on a mile long blacklist. you have to know when to step away from a conversation if there's a topic that triggers or upsets you, not demand everyone else conform to You. especially if it's extremely specific (such as the bounce example you gave) or extremely vague and frequently mentioned (moms, school, etc.). there's a lot of issues with those kinds of things and if you're in a Public space with lots of people, you gotta be responsible for your own well-being. it's different if it's a smaller group of friends, of course. there's a difference between 'friends' who continuously overstep your boundaries/comfort and large servers where people are just going to make general discussion about whatever.

the amnt of servers ive been in w mile-long user-compiled blacklists where people throw a gd Fit if you so much as allude to one of the 5000 "problematic medias" theyve put on the bl.... ok not that much actually cuz im thinking of one example in particular i was in multiple servers w. but you know. and a lot of shit can just be like. squicks or stuff they don't like, rather than something that will genuinely trigger them.

i swear some kinnies just can't manage big servers in general. once i was in a server of at Least 100 members - that was not even a kin server, it was for smth else but had a lot of kinnies - where there weren't any like, actual chat moderators (just some ppl who had permissions for unrelated reasons). there was a user-compiled blacklist that was rarely updated w requests, and one day out of boredom & frustration with the lack of organization, i went and sorted the long ass list by Category and Alphabetically. i was not even a mod i just DID THAT. the admins of that server sucked so bad they didn't know how to manage anything and were generally some of the worst people on the planet.

hi guys, today's my brother's birthday, everyone wish him a happy birthday. anyways i really didn't have a reason to make this post, but here goes.

if you don't know what stuyvesant high school is, that's fine, you don't need to. if you do know what it is, then great, you'll know how prestigious it is. i already hinted at this in my aug 2022 post, but here's an official confirmation.

and i'm surprised no one realized sooner. the path traced out in this post perfectly lines up with the area around the school. and the photos in this post were literally taken from inside the school.

one thing i valued really highly was my ability to balance both my school life and my tumblr blog (i'm surprised i managed to do so in hindsight). the 2020 pandemic definitely made it easier, as my 10th and 11th grade years were now spent in front of a screen where i could be online all day.

i graduated as a pretty average student academically, although the one thing i regret is not utilizing the available resources as well as i could've.

the reason i had a public meltdown on tumblr in jun 2022 is because i was scared to make much the same post you're reading right now. i was going to college and couldn't stay active online for much longer, and i wanted to do a face reveal and quit tumblr for good (the quote "you either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain" greatly informed my actions during this time).

but many months have passed since then, i've been allowed time to reflect, and i realized that– i'm not a two-dimensional character. i don't die at the peak of my fame. i'm still alive.

i still hold the value of an education in high regard, though that may sound cheap coming from someone who poured hours a day into an online fandom. it's just... my story is one you can learn from, not one to be replicated. stay in school.

will i be returning to using this blog regularly? probably not. i realize there's nothing here for me to have fun doing anymore, and mineblr is a shadow of its former glory—no matter now much i wish for it to be otherwise.

maybe i'll reconsider when deltarune ch. 3 comes out. or if minecraft has a second renaissance. or if the GD community takes off here, or better yet, if update 2.2 comes out. or if the walten files ep. 4 comes out. could you imagine that?

anyways, i'll leave you with a few additional fun facts you might not have known:

1. goops callout post "hi yall! today, i got my feelings invalidated by the one and only PYRO!! the one who leads the tam chats!! he and some of his mods decided to create troll accounts to raid TAM!! he didn't tell some mods from what i saw, and made a mod deal with their bullshit!! they also tried to sell stolen art!! then, i left the casual chat because one of the mods admitted to trolling (they tried to say it wasn't them earlier, they also only admitted to it because some more people knew what they were doing), and i was uncomfortable!! then, pyro pms me!! and i tell him that i was uncomfortable being in the chat because one of the mods were talking abt the situation!! and i tell him what they did was wrong!! then, he says that everyone is fine with it except for me, and says that i'm exaggerating!! yay!!"

pyro quickly came in and said that there was a lot to unpack about the situation; and that lin was lying. according to him, he and the mod team of tam would test the helpers by simulating a troll attack on the public chat. goop felt uncomfortable with that, and left the casual chat. some mods were confused/worried[?] and contacted pyro. pyro pm'd goop to talk about iit. the screenshots he(pyro) posted are cropped, [so iit iis questiionable iif there was anythiing else that wasn't mentioned, or iif pyro purposefully

goop pov: - pyro invalidated his feelings - pyro didn't tell some of the mods about the troll raid [proved wrong, questiionable] - the mods tried selling stolen art [ii don't have proof about thiis rn, so questiionable] - he told pyro what was making him uncomfortable - was told that he was overreacting [hiinted at, not with those exact words. siince the screenshots were cropped, can't be confiirmed.] - "@pyro778 i think saying “everyone else was fine with it except you and _____” was hinting that you thought i was exaggerating 😐" (copypaste, goop's words)

pyro pov: - he politely asked goop if he wanted to talk about what was happening - lin refused to tell what was making him uncomfortable [proved wrong later on.]; and was acting rudely. - the majority of the mods agreed with the troll training - there was one offliine person who diidn't reply to the troll training? [should have waiited for them] - lin was purposefully lying to cancel him. [wrong, iimo. goop wasnt lyiing. he diidn't seem to make any attempt to cancel pyro at all, he diidnt mentiion iit on the notes] - lin was lying about the mod team [questiionable.] - "that’s exactly what we were trying to do. Lin is making up lies in an attempt to cancel me or somethin" (pyro's words, copypaste)

part 2 . the "leaving the chat" discussion pyro told goop that he shouldn't leave the chat, as he was a mod. in reality, goop is a helper. [even so, ii beliieve that thiis shouldn't have happened. even iif goop iis a mod, he has all the riight to leave the chat iif he feels uncomfortable. attemptiing to make him come back "because hes a mod" iisnt any professiional.] "@willyoucomewithme so let’s say a mod sees a situation going on, starts to handle it, and then leaves the chat. Now what? Do you see how that wouldn’t work? We can’t just have mods leaving the chats without any sort of warning or explanation" (pyro's words, copypaste) [thiis iisnt the case. as far as iim aware, liin diidnt leave duriing a siituatiion, so thiis example iisnt really valiid. and, agaiin, goop iis completely free to do what he wiishes. iif goop felt uncomfortable, he diidn't have to *iimediiately* giive a notiice. thiis also iinvaliidates goops feeliings.] "Lin stretched the truth and just straight up lied in this post" (copypaste, pyro's words) [ii dont agree, but thats a personal opiiniion, and iid rather not drag iit as iit may affect thiis post.]

"please grow up" [ii thiink that, at thiis poiint, thiings started to go down.] pyro told goop to grow up [as ii understand, drop the subject? forgiive and forget? not clear to me.], to which goop replied "grow up?? no, i won’t let some person who people look up to invalidate my feelings." (copypaste, goop's words)

he also stated that making a callout post was petty and immature.

according to pyro, if you cant handle stressful ideas, it isnt a good idea to stay as a mod. [agaiin, liin iis a helper. and to be honest, thiis comment speciifiically has me wonderiing some thiings. as someone who has already served as mod to diiscord servers and some amiinos, and saw many dramas and confliicts, thats wrong. some mods cant handle stressful iideas because iit harms them. iit doesnt mean that they arent capable of working as a mod.] willyoucomewithme also stated that they were a mod for some years (almost 5) and that they recognized pyros behaviour as unprofessional. goop commented that "you said if people are uncomfortable, we’ll make an apology wheres the apology? i’m uncomfortable." [ii dont know much about that, no proof was giiven about iit, so ii cant confiirm]

3. off-topic [iimo one of the worse parts.] slowly, the topic started to drift away from the discussion, and passed to some off-topic conversation between some users, counting pyro and a user named astolfosextraribbon. [pretty diisrespectful. just moviing on liike that and sayiing random thiings to eachother diidnt really show any concern to how goop felt, and mostly made iit seem liike a joke that could be iignored.] apparently, goop went by a panic attack because of that things and because of the off-topic chit-chatting. [ii already had paniic attacks before and ii already saw users go by one. by how goop started typiing, ii know that iit iis true, and ii hope hes ok.] some people apologized, recognizing how the situation was affecting goop, but pyro and astol didnt. pyro claimed that lin did the post, so it wasnt his fault, and that they were just trying to lighten the mood. [wrong. iit iis pyros fault for treatiing iit like a joke and just moviing on, chattiing casually. they could have just moved on to a group chat, as was suggested multiiple tiimes iin the notes. iidk iif they diid that, tho.]

4. misgendering this part mostly involves willyoucomewithme (who ill refer to as wy) and astol (astolfosextraribbon). wy and astol engaged in an argument because of the off-topic chatting. [astol kept takiing the siituatiion as a joke, apparently, iif taken onto consiideratiion theiir behaviiour on the notes] "yeah im laughing cause yall insulting me when i CLEARLY havent done the same👩❤️💋👩" (copypaste, astol's words) wy then asked astol to stop referring to them as a girl/sis/female names and pet names, as they didnt like that. [astol diidnt seem to take iit seriiously at fiirst, referiing to them as guy/diick.] yet, once they stated that they were nonbinary, they apologized. even so, it seemed to trigger wys gd [and tbh, ii hope youre doiing well, wy.]. they stated that they were doubting their own gender. no one apologized for that for a while, the topic drifted to random again, until astol referred to lin(?) and wy as "furries", which triggered wys traumas. aikoindieinside told them to "chillax", astol accused them of guilt-tripping. wy did seem to point that they had an episode because of it, tho not confirmed.

Okay, time for another long post about a cool weird thing that happened with my cards last night. I still don't know how I feel about deities, I don't know that I'll ever worship one, as that's just not me to worship. But I have felt as though there was an entity, goddess, force, something trying to reach me. Any time I've tried to glean information on who it was, I kept getting a door slammed in my face. I kept getting messages that I wasn't ready. And I was totally fine with that.

I'm unemployed right now, I'm a single mom, and I live with my disabled mother to help take care of her. With COVID-19, we don't take chances as my mom is in the high risk category. What that all means is that I've had way too much time on my hands. So I've been like a sponge, soaking up all the knowledge I can when it comes to witchcraft. Not being ready wasn't that big of a deal, because it just meant I got to do more research and keep putting off stuff I didn't really want to do.

Yesterday, I did my daily card draw, and the message was suddenly way different. Change has always been in the messages, but also the stopping in order to be ready for the changes. Yesterday morning I drew the the star, the chariot, and the hanged man reversed. I took that as a go for it.

Later that day I was prowling all the research servers, and the went to Google something about deities, and found an article/blog post someone had written about wishing people would stop using a very specific tarot spread for deity identification. Naturally, I decide to do that very spread. It was a five card spread, I wrote down what I wanted to know, and started shuffling. I shuffled for what felt like forever, and then when I laid the cards out, without thinking, I laid out 7. At first I was going to put the last two back, but decided to leave them. And the cards were all over the place. But I looked at it, and thought, "whoa, whoever this is, is not messing around.

So this is what I laid out.

Before I get into breaking down what these cards meant and how each one directly correlates to one specific deity, I want to point out where my head was at going into this.

I basically really actually got started with everything like 2 weeks ago. I'm basically still a newborn, right? Anyway, as soon as I start researching, I keep getting drawn to Deities. That's weird because I'm an agnostic and basically have no interest in higher powers. If they're there cool, if not cool. I have always believed that if there is some kind of being that could mold and shape the world, then my puny human brain can't comprehend them anyway, and it's really none of my concern. So, it's been really strange that this repeatedly keeps sticking out for me. I get the distinct impression that whatever energy is reaching out to me is female, a tie to the moon, the feeling of 3 was there, I knew it had to be associated with motherhood, and just a general overall feel of the empowerment of women. Naturally, I just kind of assumed Hecate, but that never actually felt correct to me.

So the 3 of cups being the first card just kind of reinforced the sense of 3 to me, and the whole sisterhood aspects of women empowering women. I wrote down 3, sisterhood, and good times. In the spread that was supposed to be 5 cards (and I did 7), the first card was supposed to sum up who the deity was.

I love my tarot deck for the strength card the most, I think. Strength is a mama bear. Again, this confirms my feeling of being tied to motherhood. The second card was supposed to represent the deities weakness. I wrote mama bear, power, and overly protective.

The third card was the chariot, and according to the spread this was their strength, their power. I wrote down action, strength, determination, will-power.

Then I get to the 4th card, the lovers. This is supposed to be what they rule. This one had me scratching my head. Now the author said this one will be harder to figure out, because the deities could even try to be snarky with this. I didn't even know what to do with this card, but like it made sense later. As I was going through each card individually, however, I came up with nothing, and in turn wrote nothing.

Card 5 was to be their symbol or association, and I had drawn 7 card. Anyway, I began analyzing the reversed hierophant, and the reversed 2 of cups. By that point I'm feeling personally attacked. And then the King of swords felt like a slap in the face. Words like logical, smart, level headed came up, which is honestly the person I've always prided myself on being. What was that person doing trying to contact a deity? I basically had to stop and ask myself wtf I was doing.

Like all shadow work, I decided to go browse the internet to distract myself from having to think about it too much. So I start googling triple Goddess and love, even though the lovers definitely didn't feel right, I'm like what the hell? Why not? Hecate and Diana come up, well that's not right. So I decide to take away the triple deciding I could just be way off base with the whole 3 thing. So I Google goddess of female empowerment and found a list of badass goddesses, and Artemis stuck out to me. But I'm like, no, that can't be right. This peace loving hippie couldn't possibly identify with the goddess of the hunt (which was the extent of my knowledge about Artemis). I then Google goddess of sisterhood, envisioning a woman running with a girl gang fucking shit up. What the fuck do you know, but that is Artemis.

After that Google search, I decide I clearly don't know enough about Artemis, and had recently downloaded some Greek mythology books, have never had the slightest interest in Greek mythology, but I saved them in my Google drive just in case. After finding out a bit about Artemis from Google, I turned to the digital books I had.

It was crazy how each of the cards began actually tying into the mythology of Artemis. She traveled with like a gang of nymphs, which I'm sure there was some sisterhood there. She helped her mother deliver her twin brother, and became like the patron God of childbirth. She defended babies and Young girls. She only ever wanted to belong to herself and so she requested everlasting virginity. From what I read she was very protective, straight up murdered rapists, and she was strong to a fault, which made sense why the strength card was listed as weakness. Apollo challenged her to hit a target way out in the ocean that she couldn't see, telling her she couldn't do it, she did it to prove she could and there was no better sharpshooter than her. The target was Orion, the only person she ever loved. So the reversed two of cards made sense. The reversed hierophant made sense because she was not traditional, she went against the grain. Her story is far from ordinary, even by mythological standards. She was a straight up badass that lived life on her terms and no one else's. There's nothing more rebellious than a woman with such control of her own life and destiny. And of course the chariot would be her strength identification, she was nothing but action oriented. The lovers could be interpreted several ways, but I take it as a woman who loves herself so fiercely she had no need for any other kind. But also when I think of love, I don't think of romantic love, I think of the bond i share with my daughter. She fiercely loved her brother, and maybe because she helped with his birth it connected her to him similar to that of a mother and child? That of course speculation. But the lovers card could also be a jab at her eternal virginity. And the King of swords sounded exactly like Artemis.

So I'm convinced this spread is talking about Artemis, but I can't shake the aspect of 3. Can't let that one go. Don't know why. So I'm looking through the l The Greek Myths by Robert Graves, and in it he speculated that Artemis was in fact a triad/triple Goddess!!!

Needless to say, I lost my fucking shit after reading that one. I was right in what I felt about what traits I felt the energy having, and the fucking spread related with every gd card.

Oh, and apparently Artemis chose to spend most of her time in the mountains. One of my favorite thing in all of the things is the mountains of Colorado, second only to my daughter, and I even identify as connected with earth elements the most because of my love for mountains. Makes me wonder how long Artemis has been trying to get my attention 😉

Anyway, I don't know what this all means to me personally yet. I've been ridiculously drained today, it's already 11 pm, and I only just now felt like I had enough energy and focus to write this out. So haven't had much time to sit with everything I experienced and felt last night.

However, it was very exciting! And I had to share my experience!
