I diagnose you with:
Tumblr media
Give Leo another hug I beg of you
Donnie cuddles him for like 8 hours what more do you want
Do you want him to not be dissociating during it? Do you want him to actually be aware of the physical comfort? I’m no miracle worker
(thanks!! 💙)

So while I haven't even really started on Vivian's story, I already have an idea for her child with [redacted]. Save me.

Tap tap tap.
It was rhythmic. Mind numbing. Soul sucking. Repetition.
Tap tap tap.
They weren't really sure why they still stayed put. Any grip on their mind had long since been relinquished. They took a deep inhale, chest expanding with the oxygen.
Typically they didn't mind the sound. If they did, they would have gone insane long ago. They would have found it more difficult to pull their tired body out of bed and get to work. But today was different.
Tap tap tap.
They were going to snap.
Tap tap tap.
They were going to break.
Tap tap tap.
They were going to shatter.
Tap tap tap.
They were going to go silent. And all that would be left would be that infernal tap tap tapping.

BOOM Chapter summary : Will remembered about a thing Dustin once said about bats. How they found their way by screaming, and hearing the sound come back to them, distorted. This was exactly what it felt like.
@will80sbyers you know the drill ! exits dabbing into the sunset

I'm not sure if this needs a warning but better safe then sorry
💖⚠️mentions of blood and death ⚠️💖
It's called Vasovagal syncope. Being told that at the ripe age of 14 is strange it's comforting to know that it has a name that she wasn't totally dramatic for fainting at the sight of blood as her mother had told her.
Sadly for Penny she has had to see more blood in the few hour... Days... Months.. then she's seen in her whole life.. taste it as well. It's something that will stick with her for life. The tangy metallic taste, the too thick to be water too thin for anything else feeling... The images of the choir their still lifeless body's the empty looks in their eyes is also something that will stick with her...
"What's your favorite ride?"
She forgot for a bit that Ricky is here... How long has he been here... How long has she been... Why are they here... Is this a punishment...
"I'm not sure.... I've only ridden the Cyclone and well..." penny whispered she doesn't seem to be able to much else anymore
That stupid smile is back.. it's infuriating how can he smile like none of this is happening that all those previous rounds mean NOTHING... Why is it so hard to look away from him...
"why don't we go on some rides then? We really can't solve anything if we're stressed out of our minds.."
She doesn't put up a fight against it. It would take to much energy.

one of the most infuriating things about becoming an adult is when you realize that it actually is 10x easier to solve problems by making a phone call vs literally any other communication method

You guys rlly don't realise how much knowledge is still not committed to the internet. I find books all the time with stuff that is impossible to find through a search engine- most people do not put their magnum opus research online for free and the more niche a skill is the less likely you are to have people who will leak those books online. (Nevermind all the books written prior to the internet that have knowledge that is not considered "relevant" enough to digitise).
Whenever people say that we r growing up with all the world's knowledge at our fingertips...it's not necessarily true. Is the amount of knowledge online potentially infinite? Yes. Is it all knowledge? No. You will be surprised at the niche things you can discover at a local archive or library.

i say i like tragedies and everyone’s all like ‘why do you like sad stories? are you depressed?’ and never ‘how was the catharsis? was the catharsis fun?’

[image id: a four-page comic. it is titled "immortality” after the poem by clare harner (more popularly known as “do not stand at my grave and weep”). the first page shows paleontologists digging up fossils at a dig. it reads, “do not stand at my grave and weep. i am not there. i do not sleep.” page two features several prehistoric creatures living in the wild. not featured but notable, each have modern descendants: horses, cetaceans, horsetail plants, and crocodilians. it reads, “i am a thousand winds that blow. i am the diamond glints on snow. i am the sunlight on ripened grain. i am the gentle autumn rain.” the third page shows archaeopteryx in the treetops and the skies, then a modern museum-goer reading the placard on a fossil display. it reads, “when you awaken in the morning’s hush, i am the swift uplifting rush, of quiet birds in circled flight. i am the soft stars that shine at night. do not stand at my grave and cry.” the fourth page shows a chicken in a field. it reads, “i am not there. i did not die” / end id]
a comic i made in about 15 hours for my school’s comic anthology. the theme was “evolution”

15 were from Saudi Arabia (a powerful/oil-rich country the U.S. works hard to maintain diplomatic relations with)
2 were from the United Arab Emirates (also a powerful/oil-rich country the U.S. works hard to maintain diplomatic relations with)
1 was from Egypt, 1 from Lebanon.
None of the hijackers were from Iraq.
None of the Sept 11 hijackers were Iraqi.
None of the 9/11 hijackers were from Iraq.
