This isn't criticism but does that anon know about the hundreds of identical ocs that exist out there? Off the top of my head right now I can name at least 3-4 dark haired white emo boy ocs who all have band shirts and skinny jeans and a purple hair streak and that's just the ones I remember (and have seen)(not judging its just what I can think of rn lol). It's literally like, fine, if you make a design that looks like someone else's. Nothing is original etc etc, eventually 2 people are going to completely independently make identical ocs it's just how it goes sometimes. Nothing to be anxious about. Most people when they see someone has an oc that looks like theirs aren't going to go "hey! Thief!!" they're going to go "oh neat!" and move along, it's chill it's fine, if making a character that looks like someone else's was bad we'd have run out of art to make by the stone age

“For there is no truth in their mouth. Their heart is a bottomless pit. Their throat is a wide open grave, their tongue seduces. Punish them, Lord, and let their own plans destroy them all.” - Psalm 5 🤔

I think the thing that side of the aisle truly doesn't realize is that everytime they bring up some petty grievance with DREAM instead of sticking to supporting caiti about GEORGE just proves George's first response correct about their hatred of Dream. Now that they presented that and the people looking from the outside see that everyone now knows what's going on here. I've seen a bunch of commentary channels talking about how there's a certain divide and the fact all these dumbass ccs are still trying to make this about Dream is only going to prove to the people outside of this that this about their hateboner for Dteam, and not about caiti.

Ashley Wagner on X: "In light of today’s figure skating news- believe survivors. No one wants this to be their story. People who come forward with experiences of SA gain nothing and relive their trauma. The story published today was horrifying but is another step forward in making skating safer." / X

I can't stop thinking of that story of the Palestinian photographer manipulating the Israeli photographer. And also her reaction.
It reminds me of the sociology concepts Cixin Liu explores in his books and his idea of "chains of suspicion." In a network of suspicion, it's impossible to tell who is benevolent and who is malicious. No one can tell who anyone else is. So everyone reaches the same conclusion regardless of whether their intentions are benevolent or malicious. And that conclusion is that everyone is capable of potentially annihilating you unless you annihilate them first.
But Cixin Liu's chain of suspicion describes interactions between advanced civilizations in space. He emphasizes in his books that Earth sociology is different. Chains of suspicion are supposed to resolve quickly on Earth because of our shared ecology and biology. Humans communicate through shared circumstances and love. And that communication breaks a chain of suspicion. A textbook example of this would be photographing shared landscape and bonding over love for the same land. That's supposed to break the chain of suspicion.
The Israeli photographer is benevolent and did everything right to build peace and trust according to Earth sociology. But after realizing artists and intellectuals in Gaza are active in Gaza's terror regime, she changed her sociology. She said no one in Gaza is uninvolved. And that seems extreme. She is now saying the same thing that many people in Gaza say about Israelis. Everyone is locked in a chain of suspicion. So regardless of whether they're malicious or benevolent, they think the same way. People will say "how can you think this about the other side after what you've been through?" But how can you not? When you can't even bond over shared love for art, land, and life, what is left? How can you even begin to break the chain of suspicion?
I don't know. But I don't think Palestinian intellectuals and artists will be interested in breaking that chain of suspicion anytime soon. I think the Israeli photographer is 50% correct. No, not all Palestinians are involved. But, at a certain level of status and class, Palestinians are definitely involved.

Ngl though it was Twitter and other ccs that convinced her that being a woman = be perfect human being. I saw so many posts, even here, screaming to not even dare to criticise woman and, as a woman (since at this point you always need to say it), it is genuinely worrying. Just look at how many people and female ccs jumped with this mentality and is making more harm than good.
You, as a woman, will not be perfect. We are not superior, we aren’t “innocent poor victims that always tell the truth and never make mistakes”, and we’re not absolutely not the “hero do everyone” simply by being a woman.
We’re human beings. All of us.
