So It’s You
Pairing: PTG’s Yuto x OC [Lynn] || PTG’s Hongseok x OC [Alice] Genre: college!au, slice of life, slight fluff, slight angst Word Count: 9,551 Summary: Yuto's been finding love confessions on his phone for a while now, but doesn't know who it could possibly be from yet he doesn't delete any of them and hopes they're not from his friends who know his pass-code. All he knows is that she's been into him for more than a year and they've interacted on numerous occasions, but not long enough to make an actual lasting impression for him to grasp who she could really be. Hongseok's known around campus for being super hot and every girl's wet dream to which he doesn't mind sleeping with them if intoxicated enough. He ends up sleeping with someone he doesn't quite remember and the only thing he has of hers are her panties and cell phone. Of course the owner of these doesn't really want anything to do with him, but she has to find a way to get her things back without him actually finding out who she really is. part two {Chances}
Warning: implied sex, drinking, college life stuff, and young adult theme more or less. not proofread either since i’ve last shared it. lol
this is where i learned who my sister’s actual bias was. also this is where i learned that i had three potential biases and didn’t know who to choose or which one was my actual bias in the group. lol but this was my first fraternity story ever and it was super fun to write even though i have no idea how that greek row life is and so had to do minor research and from what i’ve seen in movies. lol anyways, happy reading and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
Hongseok finally woke to the sound of an annoying ringing sound that kept disturbing his sleep to which he thought was a part of his dream. He groaned while rubbing his temples from the on-coming headache that was seeping in due to the party last night. It then became silent and he let out another groan as he flopped back onto his bed only to rise again a minute later when the ringing tone sounded again. "What is that?" He asked while looking around his room not seeing anything that could make the sound for he knew his own cellular device had a different ring tone.
Hongseok ran a hand through his messy hair, removed the blanket from his naked body, and cast a confused face as he usually slept in his boxers and a tank. The male tried to think back on what had occurred last night and remembered the party, but it was fuzzy. The last thing he remembered was making out with some chick in his bedroom, but had a feeling he knew her. "I wondered why she left in such a hurry this morning." He smirked as he stood up to stretched his limbs while letting out a yawn before slipping on his boxer briefs. Hongseok later spied something bright at the foot of his bed and reached out to take a hold of it.
Before he could look at the item the annoying ringing sound came again as he turned his head to find the source. He followed the sound to a black dress ripped completely from the back on the other side of his bed and he picked it up. "I wondered if she left this behind on purpose." He chuckled while glancing at the underwear in his left hand and the dress in his right before searching it to find a mobile device in its pocket. "I didn't know dresses had pockets." He mumbled before looking at the cell phone and sliding a thumb to turn off the alarm clock. "Who would choose a class at eight in the morning?"
He stared at the purple underwear and black dress again. "Better yet, who was she" Hongseok stared at the phone again. "Well, whoever she is, I'm pretty sure she'll be coming back for these." He smirked as he messed with the phone to access it, but it just showed the lock-screen of the night sky and clouds. "Hmm, too bad I don't know the pass-code unless she's the simple type." He pressed one, two, three, and four, but it didn't unlock the device. "Okay, maybe she's not." Just then he felt the phone vibrate and Hongseok saw a name flash across the screen. "Koala Girl?" He slid the green icon to answer it. "Hello?"
"Hi." A female voice came from the other side. "I'm a friend of the person's phone you're talking with." "Oh, right. Hi." "May I ask who this is?" "Hongseok of PTG." He heard a loud gasped and couldn't but help smirked at that. "She has you under Koala Girl, but I'm sure that's not your real name." "She would and no. Anyways, do you think we could meet to retrieve her phone?" "Am I meeting you or her?" "Me." "Tell your friend that I want to meet her instead." There was a paused and he heard muffled voices on the other side before the friend spoke again. "She said no." "Either I meet with her or she doesn't get her phone back."
"But that's not your phone." He heard another female voice speak and he chuckled before speaking. "Tell your friend that I have some of her personal things to return to her since she left them behind in her hurry to leave this early morning." Hongseok heard more gasps and muffled voices that sounded like they were laughing and the one he probably slept with telling them all to 'shut up' and 'to mind their own business'. "Fine. I'll meet you." Came her voice as she took over the phone call. "Today at six o'clock at the fountain in front of the school." "Okay. See you then." "Yeah, sure. Bye." Hongseok laughed and wondered who she could be.
~~~~~~~~~~
"No wonder you didn't meet us for pancakes when we left because you were having sex with a Phi Tau Gamma member." Lynn laughed as she took back her phone from Alice who was sitting beside her on the couch with their other two roommates. "Shut up, Lynn." Alice groaned as she hid her face with a throw pillow which was yanked away by her other friend, Katherine. "You got that wasted last night that you actually slept with a frat boy?" "Ahh, this is so good to be true!" Jasmine exclaimed as she patted Alice's foot with excitement. "Don't even start, Jasmine, and Kat, I wasn't that wasted."
Alice groaned again, but Jasmine continued anyways. "And here you were telling me that you can hold your own and won't do anything naughty or stupid, especially with a frat boy. More specifically, Hongseok." Jasmine giggled as Alice tried to kick at her friend, but kicked air instead. "Shut up." "Wait, did you guys use a condom or no?" Katherine asked a second later. "I have no idea, but I need to go buy me the pill later." Alice rubbed her face as Jasmine cheekily grinned. "Or you can wait about two to three months to find out." "Shut up, Jasmine. It's nothing to joke about and besides I don't need to find out about that."
Katherine slapped Alice's thigh. "But you do need to find out if you got anything from him. He has slept with a lot of girls." "Maybe guys, too." Lynn added, but the other two looked at her. "What? You never know." "I doubt that." Jasmine disagreed as Alice rolled her eyes. "Seriously, shut up, guys. Stop talking about my personal life. I'll go to the clinic tomorrow or maybe later today after I buy the pill." She looked at the trio. "Happy with that?" "Yes." Katherine nodded as Jasmine shook her head. "I still want the details of what happened last night." "No." Alice declined as Lynn re-worded Jasmine's question.
"Well, I wanna find out what you left behind, Alice." Lynn mused as she tugged at the long black and white cardigan that her friend was wearing. "Maybe it's why you're wearing something of his that doesn't belong to you and nothing underneath." "Ugh, I know but it was the first thing I saw and threw on." Alice admitted. "I panicked when I was searching for my panties when I heard him moving and the only thing I could think of was to get out of there as soon as possible." "Ah, that makes so much sense now." Katherine chuckled as she returned the small pillow to Alice. "I'm still surprised that you still slept with Hongseok though."
"So, Alice, is he great in bed like how all the other girls on campus make him out to be?" Jasmine asked with interest as Alice tried to shoo her away. "All I'm saying is that I was sore and aching when I woke up." "Ooh and how was his body? You cannot not forget about that. Heard he's like a Greek god." "I don't know, Jasmine. I'm trying not to remember." "Well, you better remember when you meet him in less than ten hours since you're skipping class." Lynn informed as Alice groaned again into the throw pillow. "I need a plan to make sure he won't find out." "What plan?" They chorused. "I don't know, but it'll come before then."
~~~~~~~~~~
"Well, look who's up before ten this morning." Hyunggu mused as he saw Hongseok entered the kitchen all dressed for the day. "I know there has to be a reason for that because you're class doesn't start until two. So what is it?" "I'm pretty sure it has to do with the little honey that snuck out of here at six this morning and was wearing his favorite cardigan." Wooseok chuckled as he took a bite of his cereal. "Ah, so that's why I couldn't find it." Hongseok let out with a sigh and turned to face his fraternity brothers after taking a sip of water from his water bottle. "Did any of you get a good look of how she looked like?"
"No." Jinho answered as he spread jam onto his toast and bit into it. "She hid her face with her hair when she bumped into me on her way down the stairs this morning." He chuckled. "I was surprised she was able to navigate with those killer heels she got on along with her hair blocking her view." "What? Are you trying to find her?" Hyojung asked while playing a game on his phone. "I'm surprised she didn't stay in bed with you like the others." "Maybe she found out that Hongseok isn't all that now that she got to experienced the moments with him." Changgu mused as he entered the kitchen and grabbed a can of soda out of the fridge.
"That's not it at all." Hongseok rolled his eyes as he pulled out Alice's phone from his pocket. "I'm meeting her later this evening to returned her phone and some of her other things that she happened to leave behind." "Well, at least it's not a Cinderella story." Changgu laughed after taking a swig of Cola and thumped Hongseok on the back with a curious face. "But this is the very first time that you're actually meeting up with one of them after sleeping with them. Especially to the point of returning something of theirs when you never do." "She just seems different since she's the only one that ran off before I could tell her to go."
Yuto entered the kitchen still with his bed hair, but dressed for the day. "I wish I was lucky as you, Hongseok." Yuto said as he pour himself a bowl of cereal. "What do you mean?" Hongseok asked with a puzzled look. "There's a lot of rumors and you have to live with the good and bad of them." "Not that part." Yuto dismissed as he pulled out his mobile device and searched for what he wanted to show them. "I've been finding these little love notes on my phone for months now, but I don't know who they're from." He placed the phone onto the table with Hyunggu grabbing it first. "Hope they're not from you guys because that's wrong."
"We like pranks and all, but we don't mess with the love stuff, Yuto. Hwitaek made sure that we didn't." Hyojung stated as he set his phone down after losing in the game. "Besides, is your phone locked or no?" "I have the pass-code set that's why I hope it's not you guys because y'all know what it is." Yuto reasoned as everyone gathered around Hyunggu who was smiling throughout reading the contents. "This is so freaking cringe-worthy." He used his finger to scroll to one of the notes he found interesting. "This one talks about how Yuto is such a prince and that she would never be good enough for him since he's extremely handsome."
Hyunggu went to another one as Jinho read it this time. "I don't even know why I like you, but I just do." "Read more, read more." Wooseok urged as this was exciting for him. "Okay, here we go." Hyunggu swiped to another one with Changgu reading it before he could. "It's like I want you to look at me, but I turn my head every time you do." Hyojung plucked the phone out of Hyunggu's hand and read the latest entry. "I don't know what to talk about, but I wanna talk to you. There are many things that I would like to say, but I don't know how. I guess that's why I leave these notes on your phone instead."
Hongseok looked over at Yuto with a smile. "I think you got yourself a secret admirer, Yuto. Are you sure you don't know who it is?" "Yeah, it seems like you see this person often with how they're leaving the messages." Changgu reasoned as Yuto took back his phone and went through it once more. "I don't exactly know who it is, but I do know that we have to know each other for more than a year though." He finally found what he was looking for. "Because I must've talked to her countless of times whenever we have our parties, have those events at the campus center, and during class."
Yuto handed the phone to Wooseok before speaking again. "Because this is the newest entry from last night's party." Wooseok read it out loud. "My friend who's majoring in psychology told me that a crush lasts for no more than four months, but my crush for you has been for a year already. The funny thing is that she says if it goes beyond that then I'm in love. How can I be in love with you when I only attend the PTG parties and somehow end up in at least one class with you every semester? We don't talk that much or for that long. It's always in passing and just small talk. I'm pretty sure this is one-sided and you don't feel the same."
Wooseok was about to hand the phone back, but Yuto told him to scroll further down to read more. "I don't want to read it." "I'll read it then." Changgu grinned as he took the phone in his hold. "You're a cute guy, Yuto. Also manly and very nice, but the more I think about it, it doesn't make sense for me to continue on like this. I don't know how many of these messages I've left on your phone or how many you have actually read and probably even deleted without reading any of it. It won't change anything since you don't even know who's confessing to you. Sorry for bothering you. This will be the last one. Take care, Yuto."
"You really need to find out who this is, Yuto." Jinho advised Yuto as Changgu returned him his phone. "You've kept her messages and read them yet she doesn't even know that." "How can I when I don't even know who she is." Yuto defended himself as he saved the last note with the others. "Besides, how am I at fault when she's the one writing me these love notes without revealing who she is on my phone." He huffed a bit annoyed. "I'm not popular like Hongseok and have all the ladies lining up for me to sleep with. I'm also not talkative and don't socialize often like you guys. I have no idea where to start in searching for her."
Hongseok rolled his eyes after hearing the comment about him. "I don't have the ladies lining up for me to sleep with them, Yuto." "Yeah, that's a lie." Hwitaek said as he entered the kitchen while giving them all looks as they greeted their president. "Yeah, yeah. Good morning to you all, too, but how come you guys didn't show up at the booth to help set it up?" Hwitaek asked them once he grabbed a water bottle from the fridge and directing the conversation elsewhere. "I have Yanan and Shinwon taking care of the major things right now while the others are doing the tedious stuff."
He eyed his friends. "I need my main people to be there, too, so that the lower members don't think the higher ones are getting away with everything and being lazy." Hwitaek explained before taking a large drink of water. "We're trying to help Yuto find out who has had a crush on him for over a year now and has given up on loving him because she thinks it's one-sided or not." Hyunggu explained and continued while casting a thumb in Hongseok's direction. "And we're also wondering why Hongseok wants to meet up with this girl who didn't stay after they fucked."
"Yuto's story I can believe, but Hongseok's I don't believe it at all." Hwitaek scoffed as Hongseok defended himself. "What's so hard to believe my story? It's true." "Because as long as I've known you, Hongseok, you're the chased not the chaser." "I'm returning her a few things that she left in my room she forgot to take." "Like I've mentioned earlier, Hongseok," Changgu interjected, "You never returned any of these girls their things. You just toss them out." "That's true." Hyojung agreed. "Changgu has a point." "Guys, let's give him a break." Jinho intervened. "We'll just see how it turns out later when he does return it." "Okay." The others agreed.
Hwitaek then looked at Yuto with a puzzled look. "How does this girl even end up with your phone to leave you these love notes anyways?" Yuto shrugged. "No clue. It goes missing during the party, but it's returned to me at the end of the night." "Maybe you should just leave your phone in your room." Hyojung advised as he returned to playing games on his phone again. "But what if the same girl attends the party and can't leave him anymore messages." Hyunggu argued as Wooseok looked over at him. "But she just said that that was the last one so I don't think there's going to be more." "That's sad, Yuto." "I told you it's not my fault."

Lynn appeared at the PTG's booth just as they were close to finishing setting it up. Shinwon spotted her first and greeted her with a warm smile. "Good morning, Lynn." "Morning." She scanned the faces, but didn't see the one she was hoping to see despite what she came to realize last night. "He's not here." Shinwon confirmed with a smirk as she rolled her eyes. "I didn't come here for him, Shinwon." "Of course you didn't." He cheekily smiled at her as Yanan joined them. "Morning, Lynn." "Morning, Yanan." She smiled at him as Shinwon pouted. "You never smile at me when I greet you." "Because you're a brat." "That's true."
"Anyways, why are you here?" Yanan asked her as he offered her a seat to which she took and he joined a moment later. "I have a favor to ask the both of you." Lynn told them and Shinwon interrupted her. "I'm not confessing to Yuto for you." Shinwon declined as Lynn rolled her eyes. "I would never ask you to do that." "Oh, really? Are you actually going to talk to him instead of leaving little love notes on his phone all the time?" He smirked. "You owe me for giving you the pass-code and his phone." "Yeah, just like you owe me for all those study notes I lent you since we've known each other." "How about we call it even then?" "Okay."
"Besides, it's only you two out of the others PTG members that know my thing for Yuto." Lynn reminded them before casting them all a narrowed look. "And you guys better not say anything to him or I'll tie you up, covered you in honey, feed you to the ants, and then set you both on fire." "Wow, that's harsh." Shinwon frowned as Yanan interjected. "Wait, let's get back on track you guys. Lynn. What's the favor?" Yanan asked to get them back on topic. "Oh, right. Thanks, Yanan. Anyways, it's nothing too big. I just need your help later this evening with something." Lynn told them in a nonchalant tone.
"It's nothing illegal or anything if that's what you're assuming it's about." She laughed. "Wait, why are you asking us? Don't you have your other friends to help you?" Shinwon asked a second later after checking everything on his clipboard as Lynn rolled her eyes. "That's the reason why I need your guys' help because it's to help my other friends. One friend actually." "What exactly do you want us to help you with?" "You can't tell your PTG members that you're helping out, but it involves Hongseok." "Now you've moved onto him and left poor Yuto behind?" Shinwon gasped taking a seat next to her as Lynn smacked him. "No. That's not it."
She then went back to explaining. "I just need you guys to distract Hongseok when he meets one of my friends to return her her phone. When I give you a signal that's when you guys appear to talk to him and while he's busying talking to you guys my other friend who's the actual one he's supposed to meet is going to steal back her phone and run off with it while the other friend he thought was my other friend is there to confuse him." "Wait." Yanan held up a hand. "I think I'm the one that's confuse with all of this." Lynn simplified it. "I just need you guys to talk to Hongseok when I give you the signal." "Okay. That makes more sense."
~~~~~~~~~~
Katherine felt a soft pat on her left shoulder as she turned around to face Hongseok who was already smiling at her. "Hi." He greeted her as she hoped the awkward smile she was giving him wasn't obvious. "Hey to you, too." Hongseok tilted his head as he looked at Katherine better while neither of them said anything else to each other. Katherine broke the silence. "So, about my phone?" "Oh, right. This?" He pulled Alice's phone from out of his pocket and held it casually in his grip. Katherine reached for the device, but Hongseok moved it out of her way. "First answer this question."
"What question would that be?" Katherine asked with a nervous chuckled as Hongseok smiled playfully at her. "You're not her are you?" Before Katherine could even process the question she saw Shinwon and Yanan running up to them to join them like what Lynn had told her the plan would go. "Hey, Hongseok!" Shinwon greeted the male as he clamped a hand onto his shoulder. "Are we interrupting?" "Hopefully it's nothing too important." Yanan said from Hongseok's other side as Hongseok cast his friends a weird look. "Didn't I tell you guys about it?" "No." They feign like they were clueless about it.
Just as Hongseok was going to tell them again he felt the mobile device slipped from his fingers and darted his eyes to see what was the caused of it. His eyes followed the hand that took a firm hold of the cell phone and towards the owner of it and saw that it was her who was wearing his cardigan and made the connection. "It's you!" He called out just as Alice turned around to make a run for it and Hongseok gave chased pushing past his friends and Katherine. "Hey! Wait! Stop! I just wanna talk to you!" Hongseok called out to Alice, but she continued on and didn't stop.
"I hope your friend is a fast runner." Shinwon mentioned to Katherine as Yanan shook his head. "No, that's not it, Shinwon. It should be that 'I hope your friend has good stamina'." "I'm not sure." Katherine admitted as Lynn appeared next to them a bit annoyed. "How did it go? I hope I didn't miss anything. Some couple were asking me to take photos for them, but they totally could do it themselves." Katherine looked over at Lynn. "I have no idea, but Hongseok's chasing Alice and I hope she doesn't get caught." "Well that's her plan, not mine. So she has to deal with it." "True." "Let's go grab dinner." "Call."
~~~~~~~~~~
"Fuck my life." Alice repeated under her breath for the nth time as she continued to sprint through the campus in hopes of out running Hongseok, but remembered he actually worked out and would probably catch up in a minute. "I seriously did not think this all the way through." She told herself as she could feel her lungs burning and legs growing tired since the adrenaline rush was winding down. "You can do it." She psyched herself upon hearing his footsteps not that far behind her. "Just find a fuckin' place to hide before he can spot you." She scolded herself as she stuck the phone into one of the cardigan's pockets for safekeeping.
A few seconds later Alice felt Hongseok clutched onto the back part of the fabric and she panicked by trying to pull herself ahead so that he couldn't get a firm grip. Unfortunately for Alice her condition was becoming weary and she could feel the strong grip of his holding onto the fabric with ease and preventing her from moving quickly. So on impulsive she slid her body from out of the cardigan to free herself and ran off without her mobile device with the last burst of energy she could muster to not get caught by Hongseok who eventually slowed down in confusion upon her behavior.
He bent over holding onto his knees as he caught his breath. Hongseok looked up to see Alice's figure getting smaller and smaller before turning a corner and disappearing altogether. "She's faster than I thought." He said once he caught his breath. Hongseok stood up right as he looked down at his cardigan and noticed that one side was drooping lower than the other side and checked the pockets. He chuckled as he pulled out her mobile phone. "All of that running and it's still with me." Hongseook shook his head with another laugh. "She really must not want me to find out who she is, but now I really want to know who she is."
~~~~~~~~~~
Alice entered her dorm where it was only Jasmine who was finishing her homework in the living room. Jasmine looked up to see her friend without the cardigan and an angry expression on her face. "So I take it that it didn't go well?" "Yeah." Alice confirmed as she crashed onto the sofa. "My dumbass panicked when he grabbed me from behind and I took off the stupid cardigan that had my phone in it to run away without him seeing how I looked like." Jasmine shook her head with a smile as she returned back to her notes before her. "I don't know why you're so worried about him knowing who you are when you've slept with him already."
"Because I told him I would never sleep with him even if I was drunk and wasted if the moment for it to happen ever occurred." Alice admitted as she lied on the sofa while Jasmine looked over her shoulder at her friend. "Really? When did you say that?" "Last semester." "Is that the first time you've had class with him?" "No. I had two classes with him my freshmen year. Also I was going to have a class with him this semester, but I switched out to another at the last minute." "How come you never told us?" Because I thought I would be able to get my phone back." Alice rolled onto her stomach, but her face was still facing Jasmine.
"Hongseok and I were paired up for this Chinese class last semester and I was getting fed up with all the girls in our class coming to bother us, well Hongseok, whenever we were working on our joint assignments." "Mmhmm." "Hongseok made a comment that I was getting jealous or something like that when I told the girls to stop bothering us halfway through the course. I told him that I wasn't jealous and didn't even like him." "But you did like him didn't you?" "To a degree, yes, Jasmine, but his reputation bothered me and so I didn't act on my feelings for the guy because of it."
"Uh huh and then what after that?" "Anyways, he said that I was lying as every girl likes him and all I had to do was just say these stupid magic words or whatever and I could experience the full experience of what every girl wanted to experience with him or whatever it is he does with them. Och, so annoying." Alice huffed before speaking again. "Then I said those words before telling the teacher to switch me with someone else the next day." "Were you able to switch partners?" "Yeah after that assignment was over." Alice let out a sigh as she maneuvered onto her back this time and stared up at the ceiling.
Jasmine cast Alice a sympathetic look. "How did he respond to that?" "Not sure since he only showed up whenever we had tests and I was more worry about my grade because my new partner was fuckin' hella dumb as fuck." "Wow. Not sure what to say about that except wow." Jasmine said with a shake of her head as she played with her pen while thinking of something. "Yeah, but it's whatever, Jasmine. Now I'm more worried as I don't even know how to get my phone back from Hongseok." Alice sighed once again as she turned onto her side facing away from Jasmine while closing her eyes to mope in her misery.
"I know you're phone is important, but what about your actual panties?" Jasmine asked a second later as Alice groaned since she had completely forgotten about that. "They were my favorite set, too. And hella expensive." "Ooh, so you went all out last night didn't you?" Jasmine chuckled poking her friend as Alice swiped at the air. "Shut up. You guys said it would be popping so I thought I would just make it count since it would be the only frat party I would attend in my college life." "True, but c'mon, Alice, it's a frat party and no one told you to take shots after shots and play all those drinking games." "I was just having fun."
Jasmine's phone dinged a few times and she checked the messages as a slow smiled creep onto her face. "I think I know how to get your phone and panties back." "How?" Alice asked not bothering to changed her posture. "Lynn and Katherine messaged that Phi Tau Gamma's having another party tonight in celebration for an event they held earlier today." "And?" "We attend the party, get someone to distract Hongseok long enough for you to sneak into his room and get your things back, and boom you're in the clear." "And if it isn't in his room?" "I doubt he would be carrying them with him." "Then what makes you think his room won't be locked?"
Jasmine grinned mischievously. "Well, Alice, we'll just have to wait and find out by going now, don't we?" "Ugh. I don't want to." "It'll be fun." "That's what you guys told me last night and looked at how much fun had caused me to be in my situation right now." "That was your own fault, but you'll be fine." "That's what you guys told me last night, too." Jasmine chuckled as she playfully slapped Alice's back. "Like I said, Alice, you'll be fine. It's not the end of the world." Alice remained quiet before letting out a puff of air as she finally turned to face her friend. "Fine, but we're definitely getting my things back for good." "Gotcha."
~~~~~~~~~~
"Ladies!" Hwitaek greeted the female quartet as the president of the fraternity he found it to be his duty to greet the guests. "Drinks are in the kitchen and out back whichever direction you're heading to." He grinned at them before speaking again. "There's some beer pong tournaments going on inside and outside and you're more than welcome to join in at any moment if you like. There's also a keg stand competition happening in about ten minutes in the living room if you're feeling it." "Aw hell yeah." Jasmine grinned. "I'm down." "Just head that way and you'll see someone in a gorilla costume taking sign-ups." "Cool."
Jasmine walked off leaving Alice to look at her betrayed. "This bitch." The other two laughed as they thanked Hwitaek before moving along to let the others behind them get inside. "So what now?" Katherine yelled over the music as Alice looked around as she was feeling a bit overwhelmed being back at the Phi Tau Gamma house so soon. "I dunno." Alice admitted with a defeated look. Before the other two could suggest something someone interrupted their moment. "Hey, ladies. Enjoying yourself?" Shinwon asked them as he noticed they didn't have anything in their hands. "Here."
Shinwon offered them three bottles of beer that were still sealed as the trio took it and Shinwon realized that Lynn was a part of the trio. "Oh hey you." He grinned at her before casting the other two a grin. "I'ma borrow your friend for a bit and return her later. Please do enjoy yourself." He dragged Lynn away before she could protest as Katherine and Alice looked at one another. "So I guess the plan will just have to work with just the two of us." Katherine shot Alice an awkward smile making Alice sigh. "It has to since I don't want to be here for that long anyways." Katherine dragged her towards the stairs. "Alright, let's do this."
~~~~~~~~~~
"What am I doing in your guys' meeting room, Shinwon?" Lynn asked the male when he shoved her into the large room that was off limits to everyone except the higher members of the fraternity. "Just chill. Here." Shinwon offered her a familiar phone as she shot him a look. "I told you earlier that I'm not writing anymore love notes to him." She pushed the phone back towards him, but Shinwon still pushed it towards her to take it. "Just take it one more time." "If you're pulling a prank on me, I swear that you're gonna be swimming with the fishes by tomorrow morning." "Just take it, Lynn." "Why?" "Because I care about your feelings."
Lynn scoffed. "If you did, Shinwon, then you wouldn't be doing this. I'm not gonna be hung up on one guy forever." "I care because you never confessed who you really were to him. How do you know he doesn't like you back?" Shinwon asked as Lynn stared at him. "Because I overheard him say that he already liked someone when a girl from our history class confessed to him a week ago." "How do you know that it's not you?" "Because he said she was from his math, writing, and science class, Shinwon. I only have history with him. Now get the fuck off my back and let me enjoy the party. Okay?"
Shinwon stared her down still with the offered phone between them. "Just write one last confession and tell him who you really are so that you can ease your heart and mind." Lynn was growing annoyed with the situation. "I don't want to, Shinwon. So stop trying to bring it up because I don't want to deal with it." "Stop running away, Lynn. For as long as I've known you, you usually just take care of it without bullshitting. Now you're bullshitting because you're afraid of rejection." "I'm not afraid of rejection." "Then what are you afraid of?" "That I won't get over him even if I know that he doesn't like me back." Lynn admitted with a sad tone.
He looked at his friend with a worried and sad expression as he pulled her in for a comforting hug. "Listen, Lynn. You won't know unless you handle it and take the risk." "I'm not helping you if you happened to be in a similar situation, Shinwon." She told him as Shinwon laughed. "Don't worry about that. Worry about yourself first." "You should be doing the same then." He chuckled as he released the female and Lynn smiled at him. "Thanks." "So does that mean you're going to make one last confession?" "Yeah for your sorry ass." "Love you, too." "Shut up." Shinwon laughed as Lynn took Yuto's phone from him one last time.
"I'll be back and check up on your later." He told her as he began to walk away before Lynn stopped him. "Wait, why am I in here?" "Because no one will disturb you because no one comes in this room except the ten of us in the higher positions." "That's dumb." The male laughed as he told her he'll be back in half an hour or so before leaving the room. Lynn sigh as she sat down at the table and placed her unopened bottle of beer off to the side not in the mood to drink it. She just stared at the phone where the note application was already opened and ready for her to type away.
"I hate that guy." She muttered despite a small smile appearing upon her lips. "Alright then. Just one last message revealing who I really am and Yuto can judge from there or not. Whatever he decides isn't up to me." She told herself as her fingertips hovered over the keyboard while her mind thought of what to write to him. "I don't know what to write." She sighed several minutes later as she pushed the phone away, placed her forearms onto the table, and rested her forehead against them with another sigh. Too absorbed in her moping she didn't hear the door opened and closed until she recognized his voice a second later. "So it's you."
~~~~~~~~~~
"Do you even remember which one is his?" Katherine asked Alice a moment later as the two maneuvered themselves through the hallways and lingering bodies here and there. "He has a poster on his door and I remember passing by four doors before I reached the stairs." Alice informed her friend as the two looked for the room with a poster on it. "Okay, like four doors in total or like four doors on the left or right side?" "Four doors on the left side because I was leaning against the wall to help me keep steady." "He must've fucked you pretty hard, Alice." "It was the headache from all the drinking." "Sure." "Shut up, Katherine."
Katherine chuckled before noticing the door with the poster on it once the duo passed by a few doors. "Oh, is this it?" She pointed as Alice turned to inspect if it was the right one. "I think so." Before Katherine could say something she heard the doorknob turning and she pushed her friend passed the door to the other side. Hongseok came out of it looking a bit stressed and made his way downstairs. Katherine had pressed Alice head against the wall so she didn't see Hongseok coming out of his room. "You can let me go now." She said as her friend released her. "Oh, yeah, sorry. Anyways, that's Hongseok's room."
"How do you know?" "He just came out of it." "Is that why you pushed me and practically shoved my head against the wall?" "Yeah." "Wow." "Whatever, Alice. Just go inside and I'll stand guard." "Seriously?" "Yes, seriously. Now go." "Fine." Alice reluctantly agreed as she gave Katherine her beer bottle before entering Hongseok's room and closing it behind her. She was welcomed by the semi-darkness with the moonlight casting it's glow from the only window in the room. "I'm surprised it's not locked, but I honestly hope my things are in here." She mumbled while steadying her beating heart and feeling around the walls for the light switch.
Alice found it a few seconds later as she took a minute to adjust to the brightness before surveying the room and saw that it was actually pretty clean and neat for a frat guy's room. Alice shook the thought away as she focused on the real reason why she was in the room in the first place. "Okay, Alice. Just find the damn phone and your expensive ass panties as fast as you can so that you can get the fuck out of here and back into your own damn bed." Alice scanned the room first before moving to where she noticed a phone on his bed and picked it up. She tapped the screen and was welcome by the familiar lock-screen. "Yes."
Alice tapped the screen again to enter her pass-code when she noticed that she had to wait due to the wrong pin being entered incorrectly ten times. "Goddammit, Hongseok." She muttered with a shake of her head a bit annoyed now that she had to wait to access it. "At least I got my phone back though." She smiled as she pocket the mobile device just as she heard the sound of a lock clicking. Alice tensed as she slowly turned to check the door and hoped she was hearing things. She wasn't as she saw Hongseok casually leaning against it with a satisfied smile and his hand on the doorknob. "So it was you."
~~~~~~~~~~
Lynn remained how she was as she knew Shinwon had set this all up and she just fell for it. "That mother fucker." She muttered as she heard a chair scraped against the hardwood floor and she glanced up to see that Yuto had took a seat across from her. They stared at one another without saying anything until Yuto coughed into his fist and directed his attention away from her. "Shinwon told me that I would finally meet the person who's been leaving the notes on my phone, but I didn't think it would be you." Lynn tilted her head in confusion. "What do you mean by that?"
Yuto returned his eyes back onto Lynn before looking down with an awkward smile gracing his face. "Um, well," He began as he scratched his head, "Its just that, it's you." "What about me?" "I thought you liked Shinwon." Yuto admitted as Lynn burst into a fit of laughter at the absurdity of ever dating Shinwon. Yuto gazed at her with a sheepish expression as he tried to understand the reaction she was expressing. "That's so funny. He and I would never work out. We're just really good friends." Lynn explained to Yuto who let out a relieved breath that she didn't notice.
Silence fell upon them once more as they sat there not talking and avoiding eye contact. Yuto remembered his phone and took a hold of it as Lynn watched him messed with it. "Y'know, Lynn, it stressed me out to have these notes on my phone where I had no idea who the person was or how they looked like." Yuto started talking as Lynn stayed quiet. "I couldn't put a concert voice or a face to any of these words, but I always thought about this one girl and hope it was maybe her leaving me these messages." Lynn bit her inner cheek to not feel envious of the girl he thought about and knew it couldn't be her.
"But now seeing you right before me, Lynn, it actually eases my heart and mind to know that the feelings are mutual." Yuto smiled at her as Lynn made a face between confusion, disbelief, and suspicion. "You're kidding right?" She scoffed as she folded her arms against her chest and leaned back in her chair. "I'm pretty sure Shinwon put you up to this, didn't he, Yuto?" Now it was Yuto who looked at her with a mixture of confusion and sadness. "What do you mean? Shinwon just told me to come here because he knew who was writing the secret love letters on my phone and I instantly agreed to it."
Lynn still didn't believe it. "Yuto, there's no way that you would like me back like this. It has to be a set up because it feels like a scene from a drama." Lynn continued on her reasoning. "Beside you told Sue that you liked another girl from your science, math, and writing class the other day. I only have you in history so you can't like me." Yuto chuckled as Lynn glared at him. "This isn't supposed to be funny, Yuto." "I'm sorry, Lynn, but I think you misheard me." "Oh, enlightened me then." Lynn rolled her eyes as she directed her eyes everywhere else, but on him.
Yuto leaned forward and rested his arms onto the table's surface while smiling at her. "I told Sue that I did like a girl that was in my math, science, and writing class." "I already said that." "Yes, but you assumed it was in my current classes. I'm taking neither of those classes this semester." "Wait, what? That makes no sense, Yuto." Lynn shot him a disbelief look as he chuckled at her facial expression. "The keyword is 'was', Lynn. I liked the girl who was in those three classes with me previously." He pointed a finger at her. "The girl I like is you." "No way. You're lying."
Lynn shook her head still not believing him as Yuto let out a sigh, but remained patient. "Okay, Lynn, last semester we had writing together, right?" Lynn nodded her head as Yuto continued with a small smile. "The year before that we also had math for the first semester and science for the second one. You were the girl in those classes that I liked even though you didn't pay attention to me and ignored me." "I ignore everyone, Yuto." "Very true." Yuto agreed, but cast her a knowing look. "But you didn't completely ignore me since you have feelings for me, too."
"I had." Lynn corrected, but she knew that wasn't so and she knew that Yuto probably knew that, too. "Right." He drawled with a slow smile as Lynn avoided eye contact with him, looked off to her left, and slouched in her chair. "So now you know who's been leaving the confessions onto your phone, Yuto. Can I go now?" Yuto let out a chuckle as he leaned forward with an amused expression. "Why do you wanna leave so soon, Lynn, when we're just getting to know one another better?" He placed his phone back onto the table. "I feel the same way and it's not one-sided, Lynn."
Lynn watched as Yuto stood, glanced away from her as he began making his way around the table while he continued to speak, and tapped his fingertips against the table in the process. "So this changes everything because I do like you, too, and you can't leave not when I've been stressing for the past year wondering who my secret admirer was when it was you all along." He stopped near her chair as he leaned down to gaze at her while Lynn leaned away from the male due to their proximity. He chuckled as he placed both hands onto the arms of the chair and maneuvered it so that the chair and Lynn was facing him.
"So what do you say, Lynn? Do you want to leave now?" "Yeah." Lynn answered in a neutral tone with an equally neutral expression causing Yuto's face to fall and he let out a sigh while backing away and stranding up right again. "Alright." He motioned towards the door. "You know how to find your way out." Lynn got out of the chair and slightly stretched her limbs. "Yeah, but which way is the bathroom because I need to pee." "Wait, what?" Yuto asked confused as Lynn smiled at him. "I need to use your bathroom, but now that I think about it I may just go back to my dorm and used my own toilet instead."
Yuto still looked at her clueless about the change of topics as Lynn laughed at his cute expression. "I'm sorry. I just wanted to mess with you, Yuto." Yuto seemed to recovered upon hearing that. "Wait a minute. So you just wanted to leave to use the bathroom?" "Yeah." "Not because you didn't like me anymore and wanna give us a chance?" "I mean Shinwon did work hard to get the both of us together so I guess we can since it's out in the open." Yuto let out a relieved breath as he smiled. "I'm happy to know that." "Anyways, Yuto, wanna walk me back to my dorm and probably get to know each other better?" "Yeah, Lynn, I would love to."
~~~~~~~~~~
Alice let out an awkward laugh. "What do you mean? I was looking for Changgu's room and clearly this isn't his so I'm gonna go now." She babbled saying the first name of a PTG's member with the same status as Hongseok that she remembered she had a class with this semester. Hongseok stepped into her path causing Alice to instantly back away with him still coming towards her and trapping her between his dresser and his body. Alice instantly planted both of her palms against his chest to keep an arm's length of space between them so that she didn't feel overwhelm by their sudden predicament. "Whoa, there. Back up."
The female tried to push him further back, but Hongseok barely budged as he smirked at her cute attempts of trying to keep him at bay. The male instead placed his hands on either side of her hips causing Alice to jerk back against the dresser before leaning against Hongseok a moment later out of habit of bumping into things. "I didn't know you were so eager to get back into my arms, Alice." "I'm not, Hongseok." She glared while trying to put some distance between the two of them again. "Could you like back up, please?" Alice asked as Hongseok slightly obliged because she asked him ever so nicely, but still kept his hands on her hips.
Alice felt his hands on her and she tried to pried his hands away, but it was futile. "Could you like not touch me?" She eyed him as Hongseok grinned smugly. "But I thought you love my touches." He slowly moved his hands from her hips to wrapped them around her waist and pulling her closer against him. "Even though you said you wouldn't sleep with me even if you were drunk and wasted if the chance for it to happen ever occurred." "The fuck? You actually remember?" Alice said with a suspicious face. "How could you remember that? That was last semester and I'm sure you've fucked a lot of other girls on campus to even remember that."
Hongseok rolled his eyes, but cast her a charming smile nevertheless. "Technically that's true, but you really hurt my feelings. So that's why I remembered your words, Alice." "I hurt you?" Alice scoffed with a shake of her head. "That's totally absurd, Hongseok. How could I have hurt you?" "Because you traded me for that dumb kid who sniffed his hands every time he scratched his head." Alice cast him a weird look. "Wait, Hongseok. Are you talking about Chinese class when I asked the teacher to switch partners after that incident at the library?" "Yeah." He replied in a salty tone.
Alice chuckled silently as she couldn't believe the words she was hearing. "You're telling me that you were salty about us no longer being partners in Chinese class and that was the reason why you barely showed up for the class?" "Yes." He stressed with an annoyed looked as Alice continued to laugh within his embrace. "Oh my god, this is so funny. The Hongseok was just salty that I didn't want to be his partner for a class and retaliated by not showing up for a majority of the class." "It's not that funny." "It is because there were plenty of other girls that wanted to be your partner." "Yeah, but they weren't you."
Alice held up a hand. "Hongseok, please don't." She said in a flat tone. "I don't need you to recite some drama scene bullshit that would distract me from our situation." She then frowned. "Which reminds me why were you able to come back into your room when my friend was supposed to be on the look-out to warn me?" Hongseok chuckled as he wrapped his arms tighter around Alice who suddenly remember their position and tried to squirm her way out of it, but it was of no use as Hongseok smiled. "Well, I saw your friend that pretended to be you earlier today and I explained our situation and she seemed fine with the explanation."
"Um, excuse you, but we don't have a situation." Alice informed as Hongseok laughed. "I beg to differ." He squeezed her tighter and Alice glared at him. "Can you stop squeezing me and give me some space, please? You're invading my personal space." "I'm pretty sure you didn't mind that last night." "I was intoxicated and clearly wasn't thinking right, Hongseok." "No, from what I recall, Alice, we were playing beer pong and you lost against a bet of us making out a second later." "No. I lost because you kept flashing your stupid abs causing my partner to be distracted by them and wanting to lose so she could make out with you."
"Clearly, I chose the better partner." "Wrong. You followed me around like a lost puppy wanting to play a game of King's Cup." "So you do remember what happened last night." Alice was about to countered, but saw the smug look that Hongseok was giving her and knew that he already knew that she did remember what went down last night. "Ugh. I knew I shouldn't have given in to the girls' pleas when they wanted to attend one of your stupid frat parties last night." "Well, Alice, I'm glad you did come." "So you can add me to your gallery of all the girls you've fucked during your college years, Hongseok?"
"When you put it like that of course it sounds horrible, but I had to distract myself from constantly thinking about you since we first had class together." "Seriously, don't be so cliche, Hongseok." "I'm being honest." "So basically you're telling me that you had sex with all of these girls so you would temporarily stop thinking about me?" "Yes." "Bullshit." "I know it's going to sound odd that I've liked you since then, Alice, but you never gave me the time of day and figured you didn't want anything to do with me." "Of course I wouldn't when your fangirls constantly followed you around and sent death glares at any other girl that was near you."
"Listen Alice. Why do you think I was always in the library when you were there." Hongseok confessed as Alice tilted her head in confusion while he continued to explain. "Because it was the only place where they wouldn't followed me to and your favorite place to hang out even if you've already gone there a few times. I would spend hours there to just get a moment with you even if we weren't spending it together." Alice was trying to process the information as she remembered seeing him there many times, but always disregarded the fact that he was actually there.
Alice rubbed her face as she was feeling overwhelmed and like that she was in a drama with what Hongseok has told her tonight. Hongseok removed his hold from around her waist and took a hold of Alice's hands to bring them away from her face. Alice watched as he brought their held hands to their sides just as he talked and she glanced back up to see his eyes staring into hers. "I know I'm not the most ideal guy or whatever with what my reputation is and all, but seeing how our situation has turned out like right now I really would like for us to have a chance to see how this would seriously go."
Hongseok released a deep breath before he squeezed her hand out of nervousness and trying to reassure himself a bit. "Will you at least try to see where we'll go, Alice?" Alice contemplated the possibilities and agreed with a nod. "Sure, Hongseok. I guess we can since we're already talking about it and it's out in the open between us now." He broke out into a silly grin as Alice gave him a judging look. "You look too happy right now." "Because you agreed to giving us a chance." "What if I take it back?" "Then I'll just have to share with the lower members your panties that you've left behind. Ow." He rubbed his chest where Alice punched him.
"Don't you dare. Those are my favorite pair and I would like them back." Alice told him with a firm look as Hongseok chuckled. "I was thinking of keeping them as a memento if our situation turns sour." "Ew, gross. Pervert." "Not if I wash them and frame it." "That's just creepy." Hongseok laughed as he wrapped his arms around her body and pulled Alice against him. "How about I give them back after we go on an official date right now?" "How about you give it to me now and we postponed our date and give me some more time to process all of this?" "No. It's better when it's fresh and ready to go." "You're unbelievable." "I know. So let's go."

Maybe, I Could Be
Pairing: PTG’s Yuto x OC [Chaewon] || PTG’s Hui x OC [Chaeyeon] Genre: college!au, slice of life, slight fluff, slight angst Word Count: 9,034 Summary: Chaeyeon and Chaewon have moved on from their ex-boyfriends, yet they somehow keep on coming back. Not sure what they can do except repeat the same words over and over to tell them that they're done and won't return to them at all. Somehow along the way, both girls end up getting help by their step-brother's friends that they've only officially met a week ago. They just hoped it doesn't worsen the situation even more. part two {Obviously}
Warning: possessive and jealous ex-boyfriends (GOT7′s Mark & JB), some young adult theme, um... unhealthy relationships of love and friendship of sorts... more or less.
i just needed to use names and so the GOT7 boys aren’t portray as they are in real life and are actual biases of my sister and i. so yeah, it was easier that way to write like so. but other than that i do not condone those in real life. i didn’t even think about it as i wrote this out and it just came and i honestly think it was just because i’ve witnessed this with my family and friends and so how it partially came to be. anyways, but uh... happy reading i guess and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
"Invitation, please." The young PTG member who was doing door checks for the Phi Tau Gamma's event asked both Chaeyeon and Chaewon when it was their turn to enter inside the Phi Tau Gamma's house. The sisters presented their invitations while they waited for him to mark the tickets. "Once inside, you're unable to leave when the event starts. Once you leave, you can't come back in." He reminded them as both females nodded while passing him and through the doors to head on inside. "This is a pretty big house." Chaeyeon commented while following Chaewon as they followed the signs of where to go.
"Well, it is a frat house, Yeon. What do you expect?" Chaewon laughed as Chaeyeon rolled her eyes. "I know that, but I just don't get why Gu wanted us to come to this event or whatever. He's not a member is he?" "I don't know. I never asked him." Soon they came upon another young PTG member who was standing outside the door that would actually lead them inside the main area. "Hello. Please placed your invitation into one of these ten boxes." He informed while pointing at the blue and black boxes that had pictures of the PTG members on them. "Whoever invited you, but let me marked your wrist with your seats first."
"Oh." The sisters said as they placed their invitations into their step-brother's box upon seeing his face although no name was associated with it. "Okay, thanks. These are for you." The young male spoke again as he handed each of them five golden pieces of paper. "Please don't lose these. You'll need them for the event when all the stages have been completed. It's necessary so do as your told once they announced further details about what to do with them." The male explained before letting the pair passed on through after they nodded indicating they understood what he meant.
Once inside they were amazed to see almost all of the seats completely filled. "This must be some event if Hyunggu wanted us to be here." Chaeyeon said as Chaewon smiled. "Probably. I just know he was excited about this." "I guess, Won, but Gu better show himself later. I didn't skipped out on my 'me time' for nothing tonight." "Stop being a loner. You don't do anything anyways on Saturdays. So you need to get out more." "No I don't, Won." "Yeah, yeah, let's go look for our seats." Chaewon lead them to their designated seats which weren't that hard to find due to the large letters and numbers placed for easy access to direct them.
"Hello everyone! Thank you for joining us tonight." Another young PTG member who was the MC announced once everyone was settled and the event began. "We have some lovely stages for you all to enjoy tonight from our members who put on this show for our very first charity fundraiser we hope to make as a monthly thing from now on." The MC explained. "The golden tickets you were given are votes that actually helps to which of these charities it will go to based upon the five members who wins. So when all is done, everyone will come up and placed one golden ticket between which five of the ten stages you liked the best."
The crowd began chattering as the MC continued once he quieted the audience. "Also, the actual event ticket you used as your invitation to enter from earlier that you placed it into a box of who you were invited by. This will actually help with another thing we're trying to do monthly as well." He clapped his hand excitedly. "Now, this is the real fun. There are ten performances as we have a one on one battle with our ten members." He announced the first round challengers. "For our first stage it's Shinwon versus Yeo One! Which of the two are going to captivate you guys with their emotional vocals?! Let's find out!"
Shinwon came on the stage first accompanied by a keyboard. "Hey, Won, it's your best-est friend in the whole wide world as so he claims." Chaeyeon said with a chuckle. "I didn't know Shinwon could play the piano." "Oh yeah. I completely forgot about that." Chaewon answered with a laugh. After Shinwon, Changgu came out as Chaewon nudged her sister with a sly look. "Hey, Yeon, there's your best friend that likes to bug you all the time." Chaeyeon rolled her eyes, but didn't say anything. "Both of them were amazing, weren't they? Give them a round of applause." The MC said before announcing the second challengers.
"Now getting into our second stage it's Yuto versus Kino! They'll be showing us a spectacular performance and it'll be a showdown between the both of them and which one of them will blow your minds?! Let's find out!" Yuto came out and Chaewon suddenly had heart eyes. "You can stop drooling, Won." Chaeyeon teased as Chaewon rolled her eyes. "Not even." After Yuto, Hyunggu walked out soon after as Chaeyeon looked at him weirdly. "Did he mentioned going by Kino to you at all, Won?" "Um, I really don't remember. I think Gu mentioned it once or twice. Shit, I don't know."
"Whoo! They sure heated up the room, didn't they?" The MC joked before continuing. "Alright. We're halfway through and we have E'Dawn versus Wooseok as they go at it to show us who's rap is the best! Of course, that all depends on who you all side with in the end. So let's find out!" When Hyojung came out Chaeyeon recognized him. "Hey, that's one of Hyunggu's dancing buddies that likes to tease him a lot. I didn't know he went by something else." Chaewon nodded. "Maybe it's a PTG thing or something." "Makes sense." After Hyojung's performance, Wooseok came out with a familiar beat that Chaeyeon groaned. "I hate this song."
"You hate everything." Chaewon deadpanned as Chaeyeon smiled. "True. Luckily his voice isn't that bad." "I like it." The MC came back out after Wooseok's performance while doing a little jig and laughing after doing it. "Awesome sauce. So far it's been amazing and now we're bringing the mood down for our next stage with Yanan versus Hongseok! Which of these will win your hearts as they confront you with sweet ballads?! Let's get it on!" Yanan came out first with Chaewon letting out a loud cheer. "Whoo! Yeah, go Yanan!" "You know him?" Chaeyeon asked as Chaewon nodded. "Yeah, he's in my statistics class and has such a lovely voice."
Once Yanan finished Hongseok came out next with Chaewon nudging her sister constantly. "Stop that." Chaeyeon told her, but Chaewon did it again with a playful look. "Oh, c'mon Yeon. It's your boy friend. As his girl friend you need to cheer for him." "Seok doesn't need my cheers, Won. He has plenty of fans for that. Besides, now that I think about it I think he tried inviting me to this thing before Hyunggu did." "And you being you, he knew that you'll won't come." "Yup." "Rude." "Not even." When Hongseok finished the MC came out once more while clapping.
"Those two performances really touched my heart. Those feels really hit the heart." The MC pretended to wipe away a tear before announcing the last round of challenges. "Now, our last two performers will showcase their awesome vocals! It's Hui versus Jinho as they put their vocal power to the test! Who do you think has what it takes?! Let's get it on!" When Hwitaek came out Chaewon was already nudging her sister with a laugh. "He seems like your type." "I don't have a type, Won." Chaeyeon rolled her eyes. "I'm usually right, y'know." "Yeah, that's what you said about Jaebum." "Still your type despite his controlling attitude." "Shut up."
Jinho went next after Hwitaek was done performing. "Aww, it's little cutie Jinho!" Chaewon cooed as Chaeyeon laughed. "You know how much he hates being called cute, Won." "I know, but he doesn't have to know that." "True, but I honestly didn't know that some of the guys we know were apart of PTG." "Me either." The MC appeared once again when Jinho was done as he clapped and cheered for all the performers. "Alright, ladies and gentlemen. Now that all the stages have been cleared we'll invite all of you to come on stage to cast in your votes. Don't worry, everything has been labeled." He told them with a smile before continuing.
"Anyways, the results will be posted on our social media accounts tomorrow. If you haven't followed us yet, then please do so as you'll all be better informed about anything regarding Phi Tau Gamma." The MC said with a laugh. "Now, if you all come up to vote that would be great. Please don't push one another as we all want this to go smoothly as possible. Once done, you'll be shown out and thank you all for coming! Have a great night people!" He finished as the crowd quickly stood up to cast in their votes, but the sisters sat where they were while they waited for a majority of the people to go through first.
"It wasn't that bad. It was okay." Chaeyeon commented as Chaewon grinned. "I knew you would have fun." "Yeah, yeah, whatever Won, it was fun." The younger woman then cast the older woman a sly look. "Good, because after this we have somewhere else to be." Chaeyeon groaned. "Ugh. I knew you were going to drag me somewhere else, too." "That's right." The pair then got up when the crowd died down as they went up to cast in their votes with Chaewon having a difficult time in voting for some of the stages while Chaeyeon knew who she already wanted to vote for.
Chaewon struggled between Hyunggu and Yuto. "Ugh, Yeon. Who should I vote for?" "Well, Won, I'm going to vote for Hyunggu for sure." Chaeyeon laughed. "Just vote for Yuto. The little bro won't know." She suggested as Chaewon did just that a moment later. "He better not, unless you tell him." "Yeah, unless I say something, but who knows if I will or not." "Probably not." "Exactly." The sisters continued on before being directed out of the house once they were done casting their votes. "Alright, let's go." Chaewon said as Chaeyeon followed her sister. "Where are we going?" "Oh nothing special. Just gonna hang out and eat." "Yeah, right."
"Wonnie!" Shinwon exclaimed upon seeing Chaewon first when she and Chaeyeon entered the burger joint. "Hey, Shinwon!" She greeted him back as the duo hugged and he spotted Chaeyeon behind her while letting Chaewon go. "Hey, Yeonnie." He grinned as she waved at him, but saw his facial expression and reluctantly went in for a hug. "Hi, Shinwon." "At least sound happy when you see me." He pouted as she rolled her eyes. "You got Won for that." "Oh right. I forgot you have your boy friend, Hongseok, over there." He teased while indicating with his head in Hongseok's direction. "Shut up."
Shinwon placed his arms around both sisters' shoulders as he led them to their large tables. "Hey, guys. Look who showed up." He announced while letting them go as the group of nine looked over at the trio. Chaewon went around the table hugging those that she knew, but didn't want to leave out the others and hugged them as well who were opened to the gesture and hugged her back. Shinwon ended up with a hug twice. Chaeyeon stayed put as she watched her sister hug the guys leaving Hyunggu to come over to her and hug her first. "Hey, Yeon." He greeted with a grinned as Chaeyeon shot him a small smile. "Hi, Gu."
"I'm glad you guys came." He said once Chaewon was done hugging the others. "Of course, little bro." She smiled at him. "Had to convinced this one hardcore though." Chaewon said as she pointed in Chaeyeon's direction with Hyunggu hugging Chaewon afterwards with a chuckle. "Hehe thanks, Won." "You're welcome." He glanced at Chaeyeon. "Glad to see you interacting, Yeon." He chuckled as Chaeyeon rolled her eyes. "Okay, Gu, you saw me and now I'm gonna go. You got Won now." "Aww, Yeon, don't be like that. Your boy friend was just asking about you."
Hyunggu teased as he motioned his head at Hongseok who waved at the duo with a warm smile. "You guys are so annoying." "You still love us." Hyunggu grinned as he led his step-sisters closer to introduced them to the rest of his friends. "Guys, I think most of you met them already, but not formally." He began, "These are my sisters, Chaewon," He tilted his head to the left before tilting it to the right, "And this is Chaeyeon." Before Hyunggu could introduce the names of his friends to his step-sisters, the others sprouted their own questions and concerns a second later.
"I thought you only had one sister named Minju." Wooseok said in confusion. "Chaewon's your step-sister? Since when?" Shinwon asked surprised while looking over at Chaewon who shrugged with a smile. "No way Chaeyeon's your step-sister, Kino, or she would have said something about knowing you." Hongseok said looking over at Chaeyeon who just smiled at him. "That Chaeyeon is the same Chaeyeon that I always bug about sharing her jelly snacks with me?" Changgu asked while pointing at Chaeyeon who glared at him. "Yeah, Changgu." "It's Yeo One." He corrected. "Mmhmm." "You still owe me jellies." "No. I don't."
"No, wait. I'm confused. The Chaewon in my statistics class is the same Chaewon who's your sister, Kino?" Yanan asked as he tried to process the information while Chaewon laughed. "Yeah, Yanan, that's still me. The one and same Chaewon." She confirmed as Hyunggu put his hands up to quiet his friends. "Long story short, our parents married one another over the summer and now we're siblings. They're my step-sisters." He clarified causing everyone to calm down. "Ohhhh." "C'mon, let's get settled now that we're all here and the food should be coming out soon." Hyunggu said as he motioned for his sisters to sit on either side of him.
Chaewon sat next to Jinho while Chaeyeon sat beside Hyojung. "I always thought you were Kino's girlfriend." Hyojung laughed as Chaeyeon scoffed. "This kid's girlfriend?" She pointed at Hyunggu. "Yeah, right. More like his mother since he's so mischievous and such a troublemaker." "No I'm not." Hyunggu defended himself. "You're just naggy." "I know right." Chaewon agreed. "Now you know my pain for these past years." "She's not that bad." Jinho reasoned as Chaeyeon leaned over her brother and sister to give him a high-five. "She just has her moments." Chaeyeon frowned as she retreated back without her high-five while Jinho laughed.
"Anyways, did you two enjoy our performances?" Hwitaek asked just casually starting conversations. "Oh, yes, it was amazing!" Chaewon said with excitement. "All of you were great." "Who did you vote for?" Yuto asked casually, but his eyes seemed to have lingered on Chaewon a second longer. "It's a secret." Chaewon answered with a playful laugh as Chaeyeon replied with the truth in a neutral tone. "Yeo One, Kino, E'Dawn, Hongseok, and Hui." "Oh, why, why, why?" The others asked when their names weren't called or were called and wanted to know why Chaeyeon said who she voted for.
She finally got her moment to explain. "Sorry Shinwon, but I like Changgu's voice a little more." Chaeyeon pointed at Changgu who smiled at her. "Alright, so you don't hate me." "I still do, jelly stealer." "I said I would paid you back." "Yeah, that's been like a year already." "I'm still working on it." Shinwon faked pouted as he interjected on the conversation. "What, Chaeyeon? Like that? Our friendship out the window just like that?" "You're Chaewon's friend more than you are with me, Shin." Chaeyeon rolled her eyes at Shinwon chuckled. "I know, Yeon, but you're easy too tease." "Am not." She grumbled.
"Anyways," She continued on before throwing a thumb in Hyunggu's direction. "Because he's my brother, obviously." "That can't be the only reason, Yeon." Hyunggu said as Chaeyeon dismissed him. "Yes it is." "Wow." She ignored him with a smile. "And I know him a bit better." She directed a thumb at Hyojung who patted her on the back. "That's good to know that you chose me because you know me better than Wooseok." Hyojung chuckled as she smiled. "Yup." Then pointed at Hongseok with an aloof expression. "Hongseok is just because he's Hongseok."
"I still can't believe you didn't come when I invited you way before Kino did, Yeon, but you still came for him at the end instead of for me." Hongseok sulked as Chaeyeon smirked. "You have your other fangirls to impress, Seok." "But you're still my best girl friend, y'know, Yeon." "I know." "Wow." Chaeyeon laughed with a shake of her head as she then looked over at Hwitaek while motioning her chin at him. "And I thought his performance was more engaging and fun. Sorry Jinho." She apologized to Jinho with a small smile as Jinho pouted. "I thought we were friends." "We're not really friends." "Rude." "You got Won, anyways." "Still."
Chaeyeon stood up while speaking. "I need to use the restroom. I'll be back soon." "You better." Chaewon remarked as she glared after her sister's retreating back. "I don't think she'll be back." Hyunggu chuckled as Chaewon agreed. "I know." She then looked about the table and realized that her sister and her were the only females at the table. "Um, are there any other girls coming, too?" "It's just us." Hongseok answered with a smile before becoming playful. "Feeling shy, Won?" "No." She then looked around her surrounding and over her shoulders with a face. "I just don't want to get attacked by any of your fangirls."
"We don't have fangirls." Wooseok said with a confused face. "Phi Tau Gamma is pretty popular." She stated while pointing at Yanan with a laugh. "I feel so bad for Yanan during class because all the girls surround him and talk about stupid stuff. When they aren't surrounding him then I get glares when him and I are partnered for a lot of the assignments because none of them get paired up with him. It's really annoying." Chaewon then looked over at Yanan. "I think we should stop working together. It's getting in the way of my studying." "I'm sorry." Yanan apologized as Chaewon chuckled. "I was just joking." "Oh. I thought you were serious."
"Won's never serious." Shinwon remarked as Chaewon grinned at him while making a gun motion at him. "Only sometimes." "Hi!" Their waitress greeted them as she brought out their food with the help of another waitresses. She then spotted Chaewon and frowned. "Um, you're part of the large group, too?" "Yeah. My sister and I just got here." "Oh, I see." She said and then ignored Chaewon as she and the other waitress passed out the boys' food and left without taking Chaewon's order. "The fuck." She looked over at Hyunggu. "That's why I told you to put in our order because girls like them do this when it's a only bunch of guys."
"Sorry, Won." Hyunggu apologized with a sad expression. "We did tell them that we had two more people joining us and they were okay with it." "It's whatever, Gu. Don't worry about it. That's them." "Here, Won, you can have some of my shrimp pasta." Jinho said with a smile as he took the plate from beneath his rectangular bowl and started transferring some of his pasta contents to share with Chaewon. "It's okay, Jinho." "No, take some. I know you like pasta just as me although I can share unlike you." Chaewon smiled. "Very true, but thanks, Jinho." "You're welcome, Won."
"Hey, Kino." Hwitaek called for the younger male's attention after a few more minutes have passed. "Aren't you concern that your other sister hasn't come back yet?" Both Hyunggu and Chaewon instantly turned to Chaeyeon's empty seat with the others doing the same a second later. "How long has it been already?" Yuto asked as Changgu's eyes shifted towards the direction of where the restrooms were located. "I think it's been at least twenty minutes by now." "You think she fell in?" Wooseok joked as some of them chuckled.
"Maybe she did make an escape." Hongseok chuckled with a shake of his head. "She usually does and only a handful of times does she stay." "Maybe." Hyunggu nodded as Chaewon shook her head. "Although she would, but I drove so she can't leave unless she take the bus which she won't since she forgot her wallet." "Sounds like Yeon." Jinho chuckled as Yanan spoke a second later. "Oh, there she is." Yanan said as he pointed upon seeing Chaeyeon returning, but his eyebrows furrowed. "But she looks a bit mad or something." "Hey there, Yeon." Hyojung greeted her.
"Took you long enough to come back." He teased a second later, but Chaeyeon didn't hear him as she whispered into her sister's ear. "We gotta go." "Why?" Chaewon asked before looking at Chaeyeon and frowned. "Have you been crying?" "That's not the point, Won. Let's go." "The food just came and I just started eating." "We need to go now. Seriously, Won." Chaeyeon urged as her eyes darted elsewhere while Chaewon turned to see where her sister was looking and groaned. "Oh shit." She let out upon seeing a few people she didn't want to see and wished she listened to Chaeyeon a second ago.
"Well, what do we have here?" A male voiced asked as the ten members of PTG turned their attention to the seven GOT members standing before them with the Jaebum speaking while he cast a look in Chaeyeon's direction. "This is where you would rather be, Yeon?" "Don't do this here, JB. We've been done for months now." "I'll deal with you again later because we're not here for you and I now. We're here because of Chaewon." "They've been done for months now, too. So don't do this." Chaewon stood up. "It's okay, Yeon. It's not our fault that they can't drop their issues and always have to bring it up every time they see us."
Chaewon turned her attention onto one particular member of GOT. "This is so embarrassing, Mark, and you and I both know it." "I'm just asking for another chance, Won." "And I said no so many times, Mark. I don't get why you can't comprehend that." "C'mon, Won. Gamma Omega Tau's a whole lot better than Phi Tau Gamma." "I don't care. Just go already." "Not without you, Won." "Mark, we're not together anymore and you know that. You have Jessica or Holly or whatever her name is now." "But she's not you." "Should've thought of that sooner, huh? Now please just go." "I'm not going until you take me back."
"I think both of them said they don't want anything to do with you, so why don't you just go?" Hyunggu advised while standing up alongside his step-sisters. "This doesn't concern you, squirt, so back off." Jaebum glared at Hyunggu before Chaeyeon moved to stand in front of her step-brother and sister protectively as he cast her a look while taking a step closer causing the rest of PTG to stand up as well in defense mode. "What? Is this the new little boyfriend of yours you've left me for?" "No. He is." Chaeyeon pointed at Hongseok and in an instant Hongseok made his way to Chaeyeon's side and squared of Jaebum.
"I don't appreciate you hounding my girl friend and her sister when they already told you to back off. I would suggest for you and your crew to leave before something ugly happens." Hongseok said in a firm tone while placing his arm to move Chaeyeon behind him. "People are beginning to stare so I don't think you wanna cause a bigger scene than you already have." "Fine." Jaebum relented, but cast dark eyes onto Chaeyeon who glared back at him. "We're not done." "The same to you too, Won." Mark added still staring at Chaewon who just rolled her eyes as the seven members of GOT finally left the group of twelve alone.
Chaeyeon lightly back-hugged Hongseok while letting out a relieved breath. "Thank you so much, Seok." Hongseok patted her hand with a warm smile. "You're welcome, Yeon. Any time." Chaeyeon removed her arms from around Hongseok while Hongseok patted her head. "Just be more careful." "I will." "Good." Hongseok returned back to his seat while Chaewon slightly smacked Hyunggu in the butt playfully. "Next time, Gu, just stay out of it. Thanks though." "What? I can't protect my sisters?" He glanced at them as both sisters shook their heads. "No, because then it causes more drama." Chaewon stated as Hyunggu rolled his eyes.
"Then what about Hongseok? He protected Yeon by being her boyfriend." "Because that's just our deal since we've known each other whenever we need help in situations like the one that just happened just now." Chaeyeon explained as Hongseok nodded. "Yup although Yeon needs my help more than I need hers since we agreed to doing that." "Yeah, okay, when one of your fangirl gets it into her head a little too much next time, don't call me." "I was only kidding." "Sure." Chaeyeon then glanced around at the others who all were now seated with an apologetic expression. "Sorry that you guys had to see that."
The males all dismissed it casually with 'it's okay' while Hyunggu pulled Chaeyeon back down to her seat. "Forget them, Yeon. Let's eat." She groaned. "Now I remember what I was supposed to do before running into them." Chaewon cast her sister a narrowed look. "You were gonna run away, huh?" Chaeyeon laughed. "Yeah." "This girl." Chaewon laughed while digging into her shrimp pasta. "So rude, Yeon." Hyunggu pouted as Chaeyeon patted his thigh with a chuckle. "You'll get over it." He rolled his eyes, but smiled. "Still, thanks for coming." "Welcome." "Okay, Yeon, now eat." Hyojung grinned as he halfed his meal with Chaeyeon. "Thanks, Hyo."
Chaeyeon was quietly studying in one of the music rooms in the Music department as she was waiting for her friend, Sunmi, to finish what she needed to finish before going on their weekly lunch date. "Hey, Yeon?" Sunmi called for her friend's attention as Chaeyeon didn't look up, but still answered her. "Hmm?" "I'll be right back. I have to see my advisor about something and then we can go get lunch, okay?" "Okay." "Thanks and I'll be back." Sunmi said as she left the room leaving Chaeyeon to herself who was almost done with her studying until she heard the door open again a few minutes later.
"That was fa-" The rest of Chaeyeon's words got caught in her throat as she stared at her ex-boyfriend before sighing. "What are you doing here, JB?" "I'm majoring in music, Yeon. I'm pretty sure you know that." Jaebum answered with a smirked as he made his way towards the female who was already packing her things. "I do, but I meant why are you here in this room." She re-worded as she shot him a tired look already done packing her things and about to go. "I honestly don't know why you keep on going round and round with this who thing, Jaebum." She told him with another tired expression. "You're just wasting your time."
Chaeyeon made her way to leave out of the room, but Jaebum blocked her path. "You're not leaving until I get what I want." "Well, you can't have everything you want, Jaebum, that's life." Chaeyeon remarked side-stepping around him only to be grabbed by her arm to face Jaebum again. "I had you once, Chaeyeon, and I'll have you again." Jaebum told her with a dark tone while Chaeyeon's body tensed with the familiar feeling as this has happened once before, but without the physical aspect of it. "You're not going to control me or my life again, JB." Chaeyeon told him with a firm voice and hoped it would stay for a bit longer.
With her other hand Chaeyeon placed it onto his wrist to removed it from her other arm. "And I would advised you to not put your hands on me again." "I'll do wha-" Jaebum didn't get to finish his sentence because Chaeyeon had push his body away from her with as much force as she could muster before running towards the door to make her escape. Just as she had got the door opened it slammed shut a second later with Jaebum's body pressed against hers trapping her between him and the door. "I told you, Yeon." He breathed against her. "I'll have you like I did before."
Feeling desperate to get out of this situation Chaeyeon placed her palms against the door to push Jaebum off of her with enough force that had him stumbled back off of her. She took this chance to turn around and threw her bag at him to distract the male further. "I told you to not put your hands on me!" She screamed while charging against him and pushing him backwards to collide with the chairs and musical stands. "I'll never go back to you! So why can't you understand that?!" She yelled at him while picking up her bag and hitting him with it a couple of times. "Stop your shit. This is my final warning, Jaebum. Leave me the fuck alone!"
Chaeyeon hit Jaebum with her book-bag one last time before making a run out of the room, but she collided against another body and tumbled to the floor a few seconds later after running out of the music room. "Whoa there, are you okay?" A male voice asked as he tried helping her up with Chaeyeon's mind wanting to get out of there as fast as possible. Before she could run away again the guy happened to recognized her when Chaeyeon unconsciously ran a hand through her hair to smooth it out and out of her face. "Are you okay, Chaeyeon? Do I need to call Kino or get a hold of Chaewon for you?"
"What?" Chaeyeon let out distractedly upon hearing her siblings' names before facing the guy and remembering him when they've met a week ago. "Oh hi, um, Hui, right?" "Yeah, that's my nickname. Hwitaek's my real name." He smiled at her warmly, but frown as he noticed her eyes darting to the left of her as if she was worried about something. "Is something the matter?" "I-" Chaeyeon didn't get to finish as they both heard her name being called loudly while turning to the source. Jaebum stormed towards the duo with Chaeyeon instantly clutching onto Hwitaek's arm for comfort which alerted Hwitaek that something was not right.
Hwitaek moved in front of Chaeyeon while moving her behind him in a protective manner upon seeing Jaebum's disheveled state. "Move. I need to talk to my girlfriend." Jaebum ordered Hwitaek once he arrived, but Hwitaek shook his head with a firm stance. "Last I heard she wasn't your girlfriend anymore." "Well, you heard wrong and she's mine again. Now move." "No. From what I can see, Chaeyeon doesn't want anything to do with you." "Fuck you man. You're not a part of this. Unless your her boyfriend, which you're not because I am, it's between Yeon and I. Now move. I won't repeat myself again."
"Fuck you, Jaebum." Chaeyeon let out in an exasperated tone. "We're not together. Can't you see I want nothing to do with you? Hwi, tell him." Hwitaek heard the nickname and continued to go along with it. "Like Yeon said, you're not together." Hwitaek told Jaebum with a calm face. "Now, if you'll excuse us, my girlfriend and I, and yes I'm her boyfriend and not you, but we're running late for our lunch date." At first Chaeyeon was confused, but she went with it not even a second later. "Yes, Jaebum. Hwi and I have a lunch date. Can't you see that I've moved on? Please get that through your head."
Jaebum didn't back down as his eyes narrowed suspiciously at the duo. "He's not your boyfriend when that other dude claimed to be your boyfriend, too, Yeon. Are you sleeping around with a bunch of guys to spite me and telling them to be your boyfriend?" Chaeyeon wanted to beat the shit out of the guy. "I'm not sleeping with anyone. Just leave me the fuck alone, JB. I don't have time for your dumb ass shit anymore. This is why we broke up in the first place." Before Jaebum could counter or Chaeyeon could continue another voice interrupted them to which Chaeyeon recognized. "Hey, JB, did it work out?" Sunmi asked with a smile.
"Really, Sunmi?" Chaeyeon turned to face her friend with a betrayed expression. "I told you that I wanted nothing to do with him and you went behind my back?" "C'mon, Chaeyeon. JB isn't the one at fault. You were the one that really made him upset with you. You're lucky that the president of GOT even likes you and wants to be your boyfriend." Sunmi defended Jaebum who smiled at the female. "If it was me, I would be super thrilled to have JB as my boyfriend." "Then he's all yours, Sunmi. I'm done with his shit." Chaeyeon told her with a disgusted look. "I can't believe you would take his side instead of mine."
Chaeyeon then shot a fierce look in Jaebum's direction. "The next time you come near me again, JB, expect a restraining order on your ass." She finally faced her supposed friend. "I really expected better from you, Sunmi." Chaeyeon ran a hand through her hair as she adjusted her backpack on her shoulder before taking a hold of Hwitaek's hand who watched the scene silently. "C'mon Hwi. Let's get out of here." "Oh, right." Hwitaek let out confused before recovering and letting Chaeyeon lead them away with neither of them glancing back as Jaebum glared after the two and Sunmi frowning upon what had just happened.
Once Hwitaek and Chaeyeon exited the Music building she let go of his hand and let out a deep breath. "I'm really sorry about all of that, Hwitaek." She apologized while turning to face the male as he smiled at her. "Don't apologize, Chaeyeon. It wasn't your fault. I'm glad to have helped out Kino's sister as one of his friends." "Yeah, thanks, but you really didn't have to go so far with the whole boyfriend thing." He let out an embarrassed laugh as the two were now casually walking. "Oh yeah. Well, Hongseok made it looked easy, but I figured it'll work again since that guy backed off when Hongseok helped you out last time."
Chaeyeon smiled at him while letting out a small laugh. "Yeah, well, Seok has had some experienced with that kind of thing that's why." Hwitaek raised an eyebrow as his interest was piqued. "Oh, so this is a common thing that happens with you often, Yeon?" Chaeyeon laughed in shy embarrassment as she thought about it. "Kinda now that you mentioned it. I need to stay away from guys. Wait, scratched that. I need to stay away from relationships in general." "Aw, Yeon don't think like that. I thought you and I were going to get lunch since you called me Hwi and we've become friends now."
She eyed the male. "It was to convince Jaebum that you and I were on friendly basis." Hwitaek pouted while also showing her puppy eyes. "And here I thought you and I were going to get lunch and get to know one another better." "Am I going to have to worry about you popping up more often in my life, too?" His expression changed as he laughed while dismissing her notion in a friendly way. "If you're Kino's sister and you'll be around more often since he finally introduced you, Chaeyeon, I think it'll be highly likely for you to see me around as often as you would not like to."
"So basically, Hwitaek, I'm going to have to worry about you popping up around me upon campus then." She deadpanned with a smile as Hwitaek laughed with a nod. "Yeah, basically." "I guess I'll have to deal with it then and I do owe you my appreciation for helping me out with my situation." "Okay, good, because I'm hungry and I haven't eaten since last night." "Why not?" She looked at him in alarmed as he reassured her. "Oh, it's nothing bad or anything. I just stayed up all night working on this music composition and just finished it a while ago." "And then you had to deal with Jaebum after that. I am so sorry, Hwitaek."
Chaeyeon apologized before speaking again. "Are you sure you don't want to sleep instead?" "And miss out on a lunch date with you? No way." Hwitaek grinned with a wink while she rolled her eyes. "You better be careful, Hwi, or my other pretend boy friend will find out." "I'm sure Hongseok will understand although he told me once that you needed a real boyfriend since he won't always be there to help you out." "Oh really?" "Yeah, he also said something about you being quite needy." Chaeyeon raised a brow. "His words, not mine so don't take it out on me."Hwitaek told her as he put a few more inches of space between them.
"That brat." Chaeyeon scoffed before looking over at him. "And what? You want to fill that role or something?" "I wasn't planning on it, but since you mentioned it now I don't mind if it helps you out, Yeon." "I don't even know you and we only officially met like last week, Hwi." "True, but you did vote for me instead of Jinho." "That doesn't mean anything." "You also called me Hwi instead of by my full name." "Because it's easier." "It means you like me a little." "I think there's something going on in that head of yours due to the lack of sleep." "Maybe or I just find you a bit interesting and want to get to know you better now that it's just us."
Chaeyeon eyed him. "You don't want to. I have horrible people skills and prefer to spend my time alone and with books." She then threw a thumb behind her. "Couldn't you tell by my ex-boyfriend and maybe now ex-friend?" "Those are only two people of many." He reasoned with a smile. "Besides, I've heard plenty of stories about you from Kino, E'Dawn, Jinho, Hongseok, Shinwon, and Yeo One." "So that means you guys talk about me behind my back?" "Yes, but they're not all bad things, Yeon." She eyed him once again as he cast her a reassuring look. "Really, they're great stories. You're quite the character, Yeon."
"And what, Hwitaek? You want to enter the Book of Lee Chaeyeon so you can join me?" Chaeyeon sarcastically asked as Hwitaek laughed at her reaction. "I'm pretty sure you already asked me, but in a different form." "I did, but it's whatever." She shrugged as she looked over at him. "I guess we can just get something to eat. It doesn't have to mean anything." He looked over at her as well. "True, but who knows? Maybe you'll want to do it again." "Maybe." "That's still a yes in my book." He laughed as Chaeyeon eyed him again. "Maybe you need a new book." He smiled. "Let's set that up for a library date next time." "Maybe."
Chaewon arrived first at the cafe that she and Shinwon agreed to meet at for their weekly lunch dates. She had just put in an order for her drink when someone took a seat across from her while she was reading through the menu. "Finally, Shinwon." She said with a roll of her eyes while putting down the menu, but frowned upon seeing Mark sitting there instead of her friend. "What are you doing here? Are you following me?" "Now why would I be following you? I just happened to see you come in and thought I'll join you." Mark casually said as he picked up the menu and browsed its contents. "What are you getting?" He asked.
"Stop this, Mark. We're over. Now please leave." Chaewon told him while putting her menu down and whispered so that others wouldn't overhear. "So that you can have lunch with that friend of yours? What was his name again? Shin-something." Mark said while putting the menu down as well to glare at her. "Is he the reason why you broke up with me?" "No. You're the reason why I broke up with you." "Me? What did I do to make you break up with me?" "Are you really asking me that question, Mark? It's pretty obvious of what you did when I walked in on you and what's her face."
"We really didn't do anything wrong, Won. Besides we were on a break." Mark stated in a nonchalant manner causing Chaewon to scoff at his behavior. "Seriously? We weren't on a break, Mark. You know me already. It's either a break-up or we work it out, but clearly to you it's whatever you think goes for you." She then eyed him warily. "Also you were possessive and highly jealous, but that didn't stop you from being flirty and friendly. I just thought it was because it was something typical in every relationship, but with you it's a whole other level, Mark."
"It's because you kept hanging out with guys, Chaewon. I told you that you couldn't hang out with them unless I was around with you and them." "And I told you that they were just friends. I made it clear to you that I only liked you. I never said anything about you hanging out with your female friends or being super friendly with them." "Because they were just friends, Won." "Exactly, Mark." "So?" Chaewon wanted to wring his neck for not comprehending what she was trying to point out. "Never mind. It doesn't matter." She dismissed as she picked up the menu again. "We're not together so I don't have to tell you anything about my life."
Mark snatched the menu from out of her hand as he leaned over the table. "Yeah you do because I'm still not over you." "Well you better learn, Mark, because I'm not going back to you. Besides, you were fine without me before you and I got together." She shot him a mocked smile. "Now leave, Mark." "Seriously, Won, just give me another chance." Mark pleaded as Chaewon rolled her eyes. "Another chance? No way. I forgave you once when you broke my phone when you thought I was cheating on you because all my guy friends kept messaging me. I'm not giving you another one when you were thee one that cheated."
Before Mark could countered he was interrupted by the waitress placing Chaewon's drink on the table. "Here you go, sweetie." The waitress said before looking over at Mark. "What could I get for you, hon?" "Nothing. He was just leaving." Chaewon answered instead. "Could you give me some more time, please?" "Sure thing, hon." The waitress smiled before leaving again and not noticing the tension between the two. "I was about to order me a mango sweet tea, Won." Mark said with a dejected look as Chaewon let out a sigh before looking at him again. "Leave, Mark." "I don't want to." He smiled leaning back into his seat now.
They were interrupted again, but not by any of the staff causing Mark to glare at the younger male. "Sorry, Chaewon. Class got out late. I'm sorry for making you wait." The guy said as Chaewon looked up to see who it was as she didn't recognized the voice until she saw his face. "Oh, hi, Yuto." Her face brightened upon seeing the male and Mark didn't like it. "It's all good. Not worries. The wait was worth it." Chaewon said although she wasn't sure why he was here and not Shinwon while she was about to stand up and hug the male, but Mark leaned over to push her back down. "I don't think so."
"I asked that you don't touch her, please." Yuto told Mark with a kind smile, but it disappeared when Mark stood up to square him up. "Who do you think you are to tell me what I can and cannot do?" Mark said in a dark tone while glaring. "Her boyfriend." Yuto answered without hesitation although Chaewon glanced at Yuto questioningly, but quickly hid that so that Mark didn't catch it. "Excuse me? Her boyfriend?" Mark scoffed as he cast a look in Chaewon's direction before looking at Yuto again. "She doesn't have a boyfriend. Her and I were about to get back together before you interrupted us. So you can step off."
Chaewon rolled her eyes while standing up and separating the two males from one another. "No, we're not, Yuto." She said as she glared at Mark. "Stop lying, Mark. Don't cause a scene, please. We're done and over for months already. I seriously don't understand why you can't understand that. I've told you so many times already. Now let me enjoy my lunch date with Yuto." "You're not going to enjoy anything with another male if it isn't me." Mark said before throwing a punch at Yuto who stumbled backwards into another table and grabbing a hold of Chaewon's wrist and dragging her out of the cafe.
"Let go, Mark." Chaewon told him as she tried to free her wrist. "You're hurting me." Mark continued to hold onto her wrist and disregarded everything that she was saying. "Seriously let go." Chaewon ripped her arm from his grasped and pushed him away from her once he turned to face the female. "You're not my boyfriend, Mark. I'm not your property. I am a human being with a mind of her own so leave me the fuck alone, Mark. Seriously." She told the male with a firm tone, but she really wanted to raise her voice as she felt that Mark was still not getting it despite her calm and firm tone.
Mark tried to reach out for her again, but she moved out of his way. Before he could do it again, Yuto finally caught up to them and intervened by standing in-between the two. "I don't know what your deal is, but this is between me and her." Mark told Yuto with clenched fists. "I'm not sure what your deal is either, but this actually does concern me because I already told you that I was her boyfriend." Yuto stated while making sure that Chaewon was behind him and out of Mark's reach. "And it's my job to protect her, especially from crazy and jealous ex-boyfriends who keeps on bothering her for no real reason."
Chaewon was confused on Yuto's words although she appreciated his help, but went along with him because she wanted Mark out of her life for good. "Can't you understand that, Mark? We're no longer an item. I've moved on with Yuto." Mark narrowed his eyes at the female once he noticed her step from behind Yuto. "No, Chaewon. You can't have moved on that fast. You're lying. If you give me another chance, then I'll promise that I'll be good and do you good. Just don't leave me." He begged as his expression became one of regret, but Chaewon knew that he was only faking it to get her back and wouldn't really change.
"I'm sorry, Mark, but no. I'm done with you and everything that concerns you. No more." Chaewon told him with a shake of her head. "I'm tired of telling you that we're done and over with over and over again. I'm tired of repeating myself and saying the same shit when I know that you already know that we're no more. So please understand that and just leave me the fuck alone from now on." Mark was about to countered, but Yuto interrupted him with a firm tone. "Just listen to her, please. She's done with you and has no reason to take you back again. So get the fuck away from her or I'll take care of you myself once and for all."
"Fine." Mark relented backing off, but his eyes never left Chaewon. "I could've been the best you ever had, Won, but you had to go and settled for whatever he is." He lingered for a moment longer, but saw that Chaewon made no move to come after him. "You're loss, Chaewon." Mark said with a shake of his head before turning around and finally leaving Chaewon and Yuto alone. Once Mark's figure disappeared Chaewon let out a relieved breath and jumped a bit when she felt Yuto's hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay, Chaewon?" He asked once she looked at him.
"Yeah. I'm totally fine. Thanks a lot, Yuto." She smiled at the male before frowning a bit after realizing that Shinwon never showed up. "Um, how come you're here? Where's Shinwon?" "Ah, about that." He let out with a sheepish laugh as he stood up right again. "Well," He rubbed the back of his neck nervously, "He sent me." "Why? What happened?" "Um, he had a modeling auditioned to attend to and told me to come meet with you." "That brat. Did he tell you to pretend to be my boyfriend, too?" "Uh, no. That was all me." Chaewon looked at him in confusion. "Why would you do that? Did Shinwon mentioned anything to you about Mark?"
"Not really, but I remembered the thing that had happened from a week ago." He admitted as she nodded knowing what he was talking about. "Oh, right. That thing." She brushed it off. "It's all good and thanks. I really appreciated the help. He finally backed off." "You're welcome, Chaewon. I'm glad to have helped you." The two were silent for a bit until Chaewon smiled at him. "Y'know, Yuto," She began although she was starting to become shy as the thought lingered in her head while Yuto waited for her to say whatever she wanted to say, "We still haven't had our lunch date, yet."
His face instantly lit up at the mentioned of it as Yuto tried to hide it. "Oh yeah?" He avoided eye contact with her. "I thought it was supposed to be you and Shinwon?" "Well, I mean you said you were my boyfriend and that you were running late, but I guess I can eat by myself." Chaewon said with a soft tone and shrugged. "I'll see you around then, Yuto. Thanks for helping me out." She flashed him a small smile and before she could turn away Yuto gently reached out and grabbed her hand. "Chaewon, wait a minute." He said as he used his free hand to rub his neck again. "This wasn't how I wanted to ask you out."
Chaewon cast him a puzzled look. "You wanted to ask me out?" "Yeah, I've been wanting to ask you out for a long while now, but I always assumed you were with Kino." "Kino? Really?" She started laughing as Yuto became embarrassed about it. "I didn't know at the time that you guys were just close because of your parents and were going to be step-siblings." "I'm sorry, Yuto, but even if our parents weren't dating, I would have never gone out with Hyunggu. He's not my type." Yuto let out a relieved breath, but then eyed her. "What is your style? Because you dated that guy, so I'm kind of worried."
She rolled her eyes at the mentioned of Mark, but cast Yuto a shy smile as she finally confessed her feelings. "Well, I like you, Yuto, and you don't seem like him, but I wouldn't know since we've never hung out." "Believe me, I'm not like that guy, but I wouldn't mind getting to know you better, Chaewon, for you to find out if I'm nothing like that guy." Yuto grinned as Chaewon nodded. "That's a start." "Good, because I'm starving. Now how about that lunch date being for real then and no Shinwon?" "Yeah, I would like that." Yuto grinned happily. "Great. Let's go somewhere else since that guy ruined the place for me."
The duo were walking now in a different direction from the cafe they were at from earlier. "True, but I still owe the cafe for the Dr. Pepper drink I ordered even though I didn't drink any of it." Chaewon told him with a slight chuckle. "Oh, don't worry about that. I took care of that already." "Oh, but why?" "I felt bad because of the whole situation, but it's okay. You can pay me back later." "How about I pay you back now?" Chaewon reached into her pocket, but Yuto interrupted her. "I wasn't talking about money." Chaewon smirked at him. "Oh, did you want a kiss or something?"
Yuto chuckled as he side-glanced her. "That would be nice, but I was simply thinking of a hug or another date." Chaewon side-glanced him with a playful smile upon her face. "If our lunch date goes well, Yuto, then maybe you'll get all three." His expression turned into one of surprise. "Are you serious?" "I mean, we shall see how this thing between us go since I just finally got my crazy and jealous ex-boyfriend off my back." Chaewon reminded him as Yuto smiled. "True, but I did say I would protect you from your jealous ex-boyfriend." "Yeah, as my boyfriend, but you're not." "I could be." "You could." "Let's work on it then." "Alright, then."
