My brother's theory on Pat Maine
His theory is that Pat did in fact see Wendy Davis... more specifically, he saw her Taken repeating his later talk about her beef/moose jerky.

Scrolling through all of the old posts on my blog from the very beginning has been quite the journey. However, I just got to all of the Wendy Davis stuff (which was around June of 2013) and it's not that I had forgotten about that, but so much has happened since that it feels like a weird small drop in such a bigger bucket. It's a very surreal thing for so many reasons. And I learned that I am still very angry about it.

PBS: Video: NewHour: Texas Monthly's Wayne Slater: Previewing The Governor's Race in Texas
Kire Schneider on Google+ The New Democrat on Facebook The New Democrat on Twitter This is Texas Democrats’ best opportunity to win the Texas governorship since 1990, when Anne Richards won this seat.  I’m not saying State Senator Wendy Davis is going to win this race, because she is definitely the underdog.  I am saying that she can win this race, and it could become competitive, somewhere…

Pirates of the Caribbean au (just the first three movies though): Tweek as Elizabeth, Craig as Will and Kenny as Jack. Kyle as Norrington is so funny to me ksldksmkz. Clyde would be Ragetti, though I'm not sure who would fit as Pintel (maybe Jason? Idk). Gibbs is a tough one, maybe Stan. Wendy as Anamaria.
I need Henrietta as Calypso. I don't care about Davy right now (Damien could maaaybe fit, but I'd make their relationship platonic)
Bebe as Barbossa, I love the friendship/rivalry between Jack and him, and I think it would fit Kenny and Bebe perfectly jksdks. Also I LOVE the idea of her marrying Tweek and Craig <3
Cartman could be Beckett 'cause he's an asshole.

And screaming again because Wendy Crewson’s facial expression reached an impressive level of Lambert Side-Eye™️ in the same episode.

Happy Birthday J.M. Barrie!
Today we share illustrations from the first American trade edition of Peter and Wendy (Scribner’s, 1911) and the second American edition of Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens  (Scribner’s, 1910) to honor the birth of Scottish playwright and author J.M. Barrie, born May, 9th 1860. Peter and Wendy is illustrated by F. D. Bedford, while Kensington Gardens is illustrated by Arthur Rackham.
Barrie is best remembered as the creator of Peter Pan, modeled after the sons of the Llewelyn Davies family, whom Barrie would go on to serve as guardian after the death of father Arthur (d. 1907) and mother Sylvia (d. 1910). The character of Peter Pan first appeared in Barrie’s 1902 novel The Little White Bird. A portion of that novel about an infant Peter was extracted and reprinted by Barrie’s English publisher, Hodder and Stoughton, in 1906 as Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens following the success of Barrie’s 1904 stage play, Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up. The stage play later served as the basis for the 1911 novel, Peter and Wendy.
While Peter Pan remains Barrie’s most enduring creation, he enjoyed much success on the London stage, including Ibsen’s Ghost (1891), Quality Street (1901), The Admirable Crichton (1902), The Twelve Pound Look (1910), and Mary Rose (1920). He was also involved in several campaigns to challenge censorious policies affecting British theatre.

🎀 This was an idea that came to me in my sleep some nights ago: doing a drawing of Alice from Hanna-Barbera’s “Alice In Wonderland” paired up with Wendy Darling from Disney’s “Peter Pan”. The reason being is that I wanted to do a drawing of two different characters the late Iwao Takamoto assisted in either designing or animating. In his early days at Disney, Takamoto was an assistant to Milt Kahl on “Meldoy Time”, “Cinderella” “Peter Pan” and a clean-up artist for Marc Davis for “Sleeping Beauty”. Hanna-Barbera’s Alice does bare a resemblance to Princess Aurora and Fern from “Charolette’s Web” looks somewhat similar to Wendy. As a character designer for Hanna-Barbera, Takamoto definitely displayed how both Milt Kahl and Marc Davis influenced his designs for several leading ladies like Penelope Pitstop and Daphne Blake. ✨

Reading @nightingaletrash's Prototype/VTM crossover makes me want to write about Wendy's little fucked up NYC coterie and their various misadventures as they try to keep NYC under Thomas Arturo's control
and I just realised how chaotic all the personalities involved are bc:
Exhibit A: Wendy Taylor, the spymaster, who's ADHD chaos personified and basically Jack Sparrows her way through life
Exhibit B: @orodrethsgeek's version of Eric Oyama, the bodyguard/shadow sheriff, who is blood bound to Thomas Arturo willingly because the blood bond shuts up the Brujah contrarian nature (which he finds exhausting) and compels him to go along with Thomas's wishes, but isn't so strong he doesn't also fucking hate the guy and want to shove him in a locker from time to time, especially when he does shit that puts his (Thomas's) life at risk
Exhibit C: Adelaide Davis, the assassin. Enough said.
Exhibit D: Thomas Arturo, the True Prince, aka King Bastard himself
Exhibit E: Hellene Panhard, the Only Sane Man of the coterie, who constantly gets migraines from watching the chaos that is Wendy', Eric' and occasionaly Adelaide's constant arguments (with running commentary from Thomas, when he doesn't join in). She would be so much happier if Thomas fired the rest out of a canon into the sun and just kept it him and her, thank you very much, and will you STOP letting your spymaster boss me around THANK YOU.
