Oh dear, that's a temptation the wererabbit just cannot resist. Hopping from one foot to another in indecision for a moment, he decides that it's probably safe enough and he can go pick a carrot. As a treat. For the road. Maybe there's nobody home! They won't mind, surely.

It had been so long since his last heat cycle that the familiar stopped keeping track. And now here he was, laying under a tree in nothing but his smallclothes as prickling head overtook his entire body.

Merrick was gone, off attending to urgent business. He could wait for her. Probably. Or he could head into the village if every small movement didn't send more blood rushing to his cock. Trying to be in cat form was worse, as he would likely hurt someone before finding any kind of relief.

He's so distracted that he doesn't notice the smell of another creature until they're already in the carrot patch. He stiffens, eyes glowing like beacons as he gets to his feet and stalks forward.
