Hello! I'm back with another oddly specific request, if that's all right? My request is for prompts of a doctor in a low-fantasy setting coming upon an injured nonhuman, if it wouldn't be too much trouble. Thank you in advance!

Her breath caught in her throat at the sight of him. A man-- a fish?-- lying nearly unconscious in the shallow waters. His skin was decorated with blue scales, flared gills on his neck as if they were gasping for air. He had a tail and fins in place of legs. What was most alarming, however, was the angry red gashes on his back. It looked like he had been hit by a boat or a jet ski, and was too weak to swim away. She cautiously approached him, and he looked up at her with red-rimmed eyes. "I don't know what you are," she muttered, trying to keep her voice unthreatening, "but please let me help you."

There was a werewolf in his backyard, littered in gunshots and limping. It left a trail of blood where it walked. The wolf was wild. Too afraid to allow him to get close, but just scared enough to know that it needed his help. The night would be over soon, and he was worried what would become of its injuries when it turned human again. He would be patient, though. Just to make sure that they would be okay.

They found a vampire unconscious in the woods. She had been caught in the sun, skin red and blistered like a severe sunburn. All they could smell was burning flesh. They lifted her, hooking their arms under hers so they could drag her to the shade.

Don’t get me wrong, werewolves are freakin awesome, but I think what a lot of people don’t realize is that wolves aren’t hostile to their own pack as media makes it seem. There’s no “alpha wolf” ; if there are wolves in charge, they’re usually the parents of the other wolves. In other words, wolf packs are one big happy family.

But HYENAS on the other hand?? Testosterone-fueled female domination. The smaller males are the lowest ranking in the hierarchy and they are stuck like this. They get food that females don’t want. Hyenas eat their prey alive and crunch bones. Cubs often suffocate before they can even be born because they are birthed through the female hyena’s unique clitoris, otherwise known as a pseudo-penis — and yes, giving birth through this is incredibly painful.

Even though spotted hyenas are technically not related to canidae, I still think they should be considered as werecreatures in fiction. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

I love terrifying beasts who live for the hunt as much as the next person, but I adore monsters who aren't that smart and kinda clumsy too. Nagas who get their own tails tied in a knot or stuck around furniture. Werewolves who get irrationally scared at things like vacuums and the doorbell ringing. Vampires who run into doors and windows, not realizing they're closed. Merfolk who accidentally beach themselves and refuse to accept help out of embarrassment. Centaurs accidentally bumping things over and scaring themselves, leading to them knocking another object over. They're adorable. I love them.

Imagine a couple in the 18th century: the husband is a simple gentleman, not too wealthy but also not poor. He mingles with the middle and upper classes in fancy events, a true gent who adores and respects the hell of his wife. How gentle and kind she was and how she was steadfast in her actions and of intelligent mind.

He always talks so fondly of her, but the other gents spread rumors of the man being ill of mind bc they never saw his wife before.

But his wife does show up one day and it's this 6ft towering beauty of butch stature and an ominous aura that quickly turns very polite and lady-like when in the presence of company she likes.

As soon as she senses someone is hostile or mean to her husband she emanates this very dark aura that causes shivers to run down the targeted people's spines. She shatters her glass once when she overhears a particular group of gentlemen badmouth both herself and her husband.

When the couple gets home the lady of the house kicks off her shoes, and stretches her legs, which become longer and thicker.

The fine black hair turns coarse and long, and her husband helps unfasten her bodice before her bones shift too much and rip it apart. She yawns, her jaw elongating and widening, showing off her sharp canines and intense yellow eyes. She stretches out on the coach, her husband setting her bodice aside to plop her heavy legs on his lap. She's careful to avoid accidentally cutting him with her claws.

Her tails begins to slap his chest happily when she feels his hands begin to knead her tense muscles and she releases a soft howl at her husband's caring attention.

One ear perks up when their neighbor shouts from outside:"Silence that damn mutt of yours, Twinkson!"

The couple paid him no mind.
