i’ve noticed a strange increase in interactions on my blogs from users who have the weirdest combination of beliefs ever

like it’s fine to have any opinion you want ig but how tf are you a physical therian and say that psychological or spiritual therians are invalid 💀

or how are you queer but invalidate other queer teenagers by saying stupid shit like “most trans teens are just following a trend” or “asexuality isn’t valid, it’s just a phase” and on top of that claim to be a conservative 💀

how are you mentally ill but turn around and invalidate other mentally ill people (ex. saying someone is gross for not cleaning their room due to depression because you also have depression and you can keep your room clean) 💀

sometime between age 10-13 I completely believed I was physically nonhuman, a werewolf specifically. I remember telling one of my friends, with a very serious and hushed tone, saying they weren't allowed to tell anyone else. I remember being distressed that I hadn't "unlocked the ability to transform yet", and I spent so much time in the forest and around dogs to make myself feel better. I remember desperately reading anything werewolf related online in some attempt to understand why I couldn't transform. I remember sneaking out at night to go into the forest and howl.

looking back on memories like these, I'm never sure whether I was actually experiencing delusions or whether it was due to my DID. it wasn't scary to me or anything at the time, just distressing that my body didn't match what I felt. in an odd way I almost miss the feeling? it felt almost carefree to be so detached from reality.
