BRYAN FERRY: "It’s trying out different things — experimenting and exploring sounds and textures. Trying out combinations of instruments and so on. With writing in particular, trying to go to different places and creating a body of work that’s interesting to perform. So when we do the anniversary tour, we will hopefully be representing different aspects of the band and periods from all the albums. But at its core, it’s experimenting with musical styles. We didn’t want to be a one-trick pony."

Have you ever wondered why the nickname of @brentfordfc is 'The Bees'? The bee was the symbol of one of @bruneluni's predecessor institutions, Borough Road College (BRC) in nearby Isleworth. In the 1890s, a group of BRC students attending a match shouted the College's chant, "Buck up Bees", in support of their friend and then-Brentford player, Joseph Gettins. The name stuck like honey! 🐝

We provided engagement and wedding photography & videography service for a friendly sweet couple in Richmond and Feltham in the last Autumn. http://www.thesnapshotcafe.com/ This lovely couple is our second fun loving, geeky couple last year. We met them on a very cold foggy morning to do their engagement photo shoot. We went to Terrace Garden by the river in Richmond and Richmond Park. Regardless of the cold foggy weather, the couple was having fun and enjoyed the shoot and showing their warmth and love to our cameras and each other. We gathered in a town hall in Feltham. The wedding was held in The Garden Room, Feltham Lodge, Hounslow Register Office, West London, England. We spent around one and half hours with them, took photos and video clips for their classical wedding, followed by group shots and couple portraits. The mood and style were different from their engagement shoot. It is bright and colourful. May their marriage be just like the end result of their wedding photo - bright and colourful! Wind-powered street lights pioneered in Hillingdon

In a bold move towards sustainability and environmental responsibility, Hillingdon Council has embarked on a ground breaking initiative to introduce hybrid wind and solar-powered street lights. The council's trailblazing efforts have seen the installation of these innovative lights at six key locations across the borough, where a reliable source of electricity is unavailable. By employing energy-efficient LED bulbs, which consume significantly less power than conventional ones, the council has taken a significant step towards reducing energy consumption. These cutting-edge street lights derive their power from two environmentally friendly sources: the sun and wind. Equipped with solar panels, they harness the sun's energy during daylight hours. Additionally, a turbine positioned at the top of each column converts wind power into electricity. To ensure uninterrupted illumination even during periods of low sunlight and wind, the lights incorporate a built-in battery capable of storing sufficient power. The initial implementation of these eco-conscious lights has been carried out at prominent locations including the Civic Centre and St Andrew's Roundabout in Uxbridge. Further installations have taken place at the Grainges car park in Uxbridge, as well as council housing estates in South Road in West Drayton and Melrose Close in Hayes. Hillingdon Council now plans to expand the deployment of these sustainable street lights. The St Andrew's housing estate in Uxbridge is set to receive an additional ten units, bringing the total to twenty. Moreover, Minet County Park in Hayes will also benefit from the installation of ten hybrid lights in its car park. It is important to note that each column, in addition to reducing carbon dioxide emissions, incurs lower running costs when compared to conventional bulbs. Hillingdon Council has taken the lead in western London by embracing this cutting-edge technology as part of its unwavering commitment to resident safety and addressing the pressing climate emergency.
