It’s funny, now I’m almost 32 and I’m back at that same company and I’ve got some power of authority (I yell at folks for not clocking in and out and I handle all the bills lol) and my boss trusts my opinion. We had someone get fired a few months back and when I went into my boss’ office later that day I said “I don’t know what it is about this girl but I didn’t like her from the second I met her and that’s only happened one other time with…you know.” (The coworker I mentioned in the previous ask.)

lmao it's really all got to do with how senior you are and i really hate it... at the same time i can't not assert myself because people who are more senior have 0 right to think they can say whatever they want
