It’s really all too easy to fall into the trap of thinking, “I’m not really that interesting of a person; it’s not worth it making friends cause I’m just going to be weird; I have no worth outside of what I do for others.”
It really is worth it; we’re worth it. Not everyone is the right friend to pursue, but we’d be much happier if we stopped thinking of ourselves as that person to everyone. Our own passion and interests are enough. Our own individuality, whether we perceive it as lacking or not, is worth it.
We deserve friends. We deserve love. We deserve happiness.
