When you love a character but don’t want to be associated with the Waifu crowd because you don’t vibe with self-insert BS and feel despair when after  years of relatively tame fanservice, the writing decides to suddenly shift into maximum player pandering for literally no good, discernible reason, much to the grievance of people who previously loved the writing for treating its characters respectfully by not making them vehicles for self-insert fantasies, completely dismissing previously-established relationships and characterization. Total whiplash.

the hold the old yt men still have on dictating the narrative in this sport. threatening even their most successful driver of all time throughout his career wasn't enough. robbing him so he doesn't outshine the other yt man they put on pedestal wasn't enough, now they need to meddle with the results of his first ever championship after 15 years, the one where he had nothing to do with what happened. salivating at the possibility of getting to pull him down once again.

they wouldn't dare bring these mistakes up if it even had the slightest chance to affect one of their beloveds. doesn't matter if they succeed or not, them just proposing it in such a way and directly claiming his championship is illegal, is all you need to know to understand why they're doing this. they're not doing this for fairness, they're not doing this for justice, they're certainly not doing this for massa. it's clear, why this is exciting for them—possibility of humiliating lewis once again.

it's their way of telling him that they can take it all away, if they want to. a bunch of disingenuous, vile, racist men never letting a single opportunity go by without reminding f1's only black driver that you're here because we let you be here, we can take it all away. and f1 media & fans cheering them on just so they can mock the man.

I've been hanging out with my 'fellow teens' more recently cause of this charity work I'm doing, and it's like so strange how different their experience is. like I know I'm kinda a shut in who missed a load of the typical things you do at my age but it's just strange to see it be undoubtedly true. before I knew that I was missing out on something but I never knew quite what, I just guessed there would never be a chance to understand but like this snapshot is strange. Some of it sounds so uninteresting to be honest and I think the things I consider fun are not aligned with them. idk I just think I always assumed there was some divide between me and others my age but now I have to actually speak to them and the divide is like. painful sometimes lol
