I've had depression my whole life and I've had long periods where I was suicidal, and I've always thought it was selfish for people to expect you not to kill yourself just because it would make them sad. And I do still sort of think that, a little.

But now all I can think about is how my friend will never be the same. She'll spend the rest of her life second guessing everything she ever did.

How do you come back from that? How do you go on to lead a happy life? Is it even possible? It makes me sick just thinking about it.

Had a nightmare where I was living with my mom, and she'd taken my dog (a dog I have not actually seen since I was 12 when we had to sell him) to this daycare and left him there for a few days. I wanted to bring him home already, but when I texted/called her to ask where he was so I could go pick him up, she absolutely refused to tell me where he was.

I got upset and tried just searching for nearby doggy daycares to try calling them one by one, but there were so Many of them. Complained to my sister who happened to be nearby, and she was like "Oh he's still at [company name]?" And I was like "Which one".

Finally got something useful out of someone, but then when I called the store to ask if he was there, the one who answered was my manager from work, the one who spread lies about me storming out of work when she'd let me go home. She practically sobbed out the word "No" and hung up, and every time I called back, it was either silence or her answering to mumble something at me.

Creepy gap below the bathtub. They found a way around the barrier I'd built from a tote lid and the cabinet shelf SOMEHOW (because cats are made for crime) so now I installed a child safe lock and also am going to obtain some bricks to fill in that gap
