My head is spinning, my local rock station played The Falling Sky and I was on cloud 9 but then my dad butted in and said, “is this your Greta Van Fleet guy? He screams too much!” and then the DJ totally butchered it and said that their new album “Starchasers” was coming out on the 21st
“Zero passion” let me remind you that the whole FITF era got Picking Sticks MV, shot on iPhone in friend’s basement MV, “watch me I’m cool and I come from a small city”MV. Just let Harry promote his music the way he wants to and don’t complain if he’s happy and resting.
I really have to bite my tongue here not to lash out at you because you’re acting like a dick on purpose. So let me explain it so maybe even you can see logic through all your spite.
You. Can’t. Compare. Louis. And. Harry.
One has access to a huge digital marketing budget, the other hasn’t.
When Columbia promotes Harry’s next song doing less than the bare minimum, it is irritating. Especially when Manos Xanthogeorgis the Co-Head of Columbia’s Digital Marketing smugly inserted himself into the You Are Home campaign as the employee of the year, making it a point how it was their priority to provide the best and most creative ways to digitally promote their signed artists…
You can and you should expect a bit more than a copy/paste Eroda campaign with backwards written words and a website using a stock photo of a yellow feather boa or the most uninspired suemonella-esk TikTok account I’ve seen in ages.
I can say for myself, if Columbia wanted to summon the circus (read: the Larries) it didn’t work.
But maybe you’re around here new and you’re totally blown away by it all. Maybe at the end, this campaign is exactly the level of depth and cleverness that is for you and Columbia did well because now even you can get a low threshold access into clowning. Just keep Louis out of your mouth.
I can’t leave my door closed bc my cat will paw incessantly at it and meow like I’ve abandoned him. I can’t leave it ajar or he’ll spook me every time he thrusts it open with his little body. So I have to use a mask as a rubber band to tie the door knob to a nail on the wall so the door only opens partially and then it immediately shuts.
