This quote from Goncharov (1973) in relation to soukoku has been haunting me from before I even got to that scene in the anime (the full thing is: Katya- Of course we're in love, that's why I tried to shoot you/ Goncharov- If we really were in love you wouldn't have missed). Violence as a tool for communicating emotions, especially love and hatred, especially love and hatred makes me go feral- how could I not think of the iconic quote that says that katya's miss was a sign of a lack of love/a fake love when chuuya didn't miss? Just... losing it over here.

this may sound fucking weird but as someone in my late 20s i'm so continuously impressed with younger people in the tes fandom. esp people who only joined within the past few years. not only because they're insanely talented and creative (which they are, holy shit) but because watching their ideas and their art/writing evolve over time has been fantastic. the fanfic writing server has quite a few members in their early 20s and i'm constantly astounded by the lore they develop and the things they write. again, apologies if i sound fucking weird, but i derive a lot of joy from this.

#inspired by mori telling me about her nano project mostly. this fandom may be a cesspool but there are some VERY incredibly talented people #i think this is what keeps me in this fandom tbh #i dont know of any other fandom that affords its fans such an extreme amount of freedom or creativity #or a fandom where the fans take advantage of that freedom #tesblr. i love you. despite everything. mwah.
