When Louis returns home after a morning radio show and an outdoor photoshoot, to say he’s delighted by the sight that awaits him would be an understatement. It’s more than a welcome sight to find Harry home and parsing through a recipe book whilst sat daintily atop the kitchen counter. Particularly so dressed up the way he is.
Or: Louis comes home to his pretty wife.

Can we know a little more about your book!!! 👀
Pirate treasure-hunt adventure set in a fantasy world (partly because I like worldbuilding and partly because I don’t want to deal with historical accuracy) with a healthy dose of the supernatural to spice it up

I came across a lot of posts about love in the middle of tragedies and they involved Hadestown and I cannot sit by and say nothing when someone brings up the most beautiful musical ever written so you’ll have to listen:
It’s based on greek mythology. It follows the story of Orpheus and Eurydice and also Hades and Persephone. It’s beautiful and it’s heartbreaking, it will destroy you but it’ll also make you want to fall in love.
It has the most romantic Broadway song in it. Orpheus and Eurydice are one of my favorite tropes because she is one of those “I hate everyone else in the world but you” kind of people, and in this song she lets down her guard and just asks him please never leave me. It’s beautiful.
When we get a glimpse of just how much Hades loves Persephone, the beginning of his love, when he had nothing, just his love for her and that was the only treasure he possessed. To relive that and then see the current status of their relationship, it makes you hurt for them even though we know he’s not a good man and she’s struggling herself. It makes you realize how hard love is, how much you have to take care of it.
So then, after you’ve been through the whole thing. You’re reminded of why we love people, why we go through hell and back for someone, why we hurt for some people. Because that’s what love is, it’s an old song, it’s a sad song, it’s one of our favorite songs, and we’ll keep singing it through the end of times. In tragedies, and in happy endings, because the love was there and that’s just worth the notice. It was so beautiful to live through it and that is what matters.
“Orpheus?”
“Eurydice…”

I think it would really benefit people to internalize that mental illnesses are often chronic and not acute. Some of us will never be able to jump the hurdle of managing illness, much less sustaining a sense of normalcy. Many of us will never "recover," will never manage symptoms, will never even come close to appearing normal - and this is for any condition, even the ones labeled as "simple" disorders or "easy-to-manage" disorders.
It isn't a failure if you cannot manage your symptoms. It isn't a moral failure, and you aren't an awful person. You are human. There's only so much you can do before recognizing that you cannot lift the world. Give yourself the space to be ill because, functionally, you are.
