Junior Guard Captain Garazeb and Underworld crime prince Sasha fall into each other's orbit and hard. This is the 'verse where they have complimentary force powers; Guard (Zeb, empath) and Watcher (Kallus, heightened senses). you can check out the sketch phases of this here. Zeb characterization and general Lasan HCs courtesy of @sidhebeingbrand
Not ten minutes after meeting, Sasha tries to use Zeb as his ticket off Coruscant, which creates something of a diplomatic incident.
The Kallus' aren't a very powerful underworld gang, but they don't want to lose Sasha and are more than willing to become a pain in the surface's ass to get him back. Zeb's superiors don't want any of that, but there's a hiccup; Zeb and Sasha are already 'bonded'. Their auras compliment one another, and have more or less interlocked in what little time they've known each other. Untangling them now would be a process. That, and Sasha has told them some concerning things about how his family treats him and his gift.
So the plan becomes; parlay with the Kallus Family down in the Underworld.
It goes better than expected, all things considered. Sasha's family wants him to stay and are willing to accept assistance from the Lasat, because they're under no illusions that their family's way of doing things is working. Sasha's magic has always been more than either his brother or grandmother could handle. If the Lasat are willing to spare a teacher, the Kallus' will put them up and treat them like family.
Which means Zeb is going to stay.
Sasha is furious. He wants to stay with Zeb, yeah, but he wanted to go with him to Lasan. Not ruin the guy's whole career by getting him stuck in the frozen ass-end of Coruscant's basement sectors.
There's one place Sasha goes when he's feeling trapped and overstimulated. At the bottom of level 1996--a level comprised entirely of the piping needed to keep the above levels running--is a giant empty space where the next level should be. Over a hundred stories of nothing between the pipes of '96 and the sewage pit of 1994. This is where Sasha goes to worship his god. The Lasat know him as the Bendu--the one who walks in the middle--but in the north-eastern sectors of the Underworld, they simply call it 'The Void'. It isn't the kind of god to lend its favor, but it is there all the same, and it will listen. Sasha comes to it often to vent his frustrations, to scream into the dark, and this time, Zeb follows.
The whole thing freaks Zeb out. He's a good, devout child of the Ashla, and this big yawning pit his bonded feels compelled to dangle over scares him shitless. He respects the Bendu, respects Sasha as a child of the Between, so he doesn't interfere. Zeb does, however, reel Sasha into the safety of his own arms the second his crazy little human is done.
That's when this conversation happens. Across their bond, in the privacy of their auras, Zeb promises the next time he sees the stars, Sasha will be there beside him. "I know why it calls to you now, the emptiness."
A shiver works its way through Sasha. "Why are you like this?" he asks, pressing into Zeb's space, forehead to forehead. "You just promise like it's nothing."
"To be your Guard is everything. I do not want another bondmate. Terrifying small human."
Sasha's laugh is a little wheezy and broken. He forces a grin as he asks "what if?" aloud, pretending it's a game, a new way to tease the overly serious Guard, and that there's no growing fear he may misstep and give Zeb reason to abandon him.
Zeb says he doesn't know, but then counters; "what if I steal you?"
The question is left unanswered--they aren't alone in the 1996 and need to get going--but it isn't forgotten. Nor Zeb's promise that one day, the two of them will hunt the stars.

No Order 66 AU where Anakin leaves the Order after the war ends and he and Padme end up retiring to Naboo to try to raise the twins together, but neither of them ends up feeling particularly satisfied with life on Naboo (for Anakin it just doesn't give him any purpose the way he desperately needs and for Padme it's always been this perfect rosy dream and reality doesn't measure up), so they end up leaving the twins behind a lot so they can pursue other things and are pretty absentee parents in general. They mostly end up getting raised by Padme's parents instead, and while they're perfectly good guardians for the twins and raise them kindly and love them a lot, there's always an obvious elephant in the room regarding who ISN'T there.
This causes a bit of a rift between Luke and Leia because while Luke is trying to keep the peace and give their parents the benefit of the doubt as he moves on and figures out his own life with what he DOES have, Leia is less willing to just forgive and forget.
Luke ends up becoming a pilot working for the royal palace for a while, but Leia goes into politics (something she'd entered while younger because it's what her mother did and she'd been hoping it would get Padme's attention and bring the two of them closer; it didn't work out that way at all and now Leia's sticking with it at least partly to spite Padme) as an aide for her cousin Pooja who is now Senator of Naboo.
And it's here, once she finally makes it to Coruscant and starts working in the Senate, that Leia meets Bail Organa, still working as Senator of Alderaan. The two of them click IMMEDIATELY and Bail ends up becoming Leia's mentor in politics, as well as the person who actually introduces her to the Jedi themselves. Anakin and Padme had never really bothered to do so, both because they were so rarely around, but also because they had chosen not to give Luke and Leia to the Temple and decided at that point that it would be easier to keep the twins and the Jedi separate. Bail of course has no such compunctions and even if he knew about Anakin and Padme's feelings on the matter, I imagine he'd find ways to allow Leia to accidentally bump into some of the Jedi while she was on Coruscant. If he just so happens to double book himself for lunch with both Leia and Obi-Wan, it's hardly anything malicious and they may as well all eat together!
Leia finally feels like she has a parent who gives a damn about her, someone who acts like a parent to her, the parent she's always wanted. Her grandparents had always been incredibly kind and they obviously had to do a lot of parenting, but they'd always been very strict about making sure the twins saw them as GRANDPARENTS and not their actual parents, which just make the absence of their parents that much more obvious and painful. But with Bail, she's finally got someone who doesn't care that Anakin and Padme aren't there and doesn't feel the need to create a wall between them for Anakin and Padme's sake. Bail takes her under his wing, teaches her everything she knows, allows her to explore things she'd never been allowed to explore before, connects her to even more people who can help her understand herself better than she's ever been able to before. THIS is what a parent was supposed to do for her and she knows it, THIS is what selfless love looks like from a parent and she THRIVES under it for the first time in her life.
She eventually decides not to stay on as Pooja's aide because she has no real desire to become a senator for Naboo at any point, but she IS good at politics and desperately does want to help people any way she can, so she starts up some sort of organization of her own to help people around the galaxy (and connects it to the Jedi because deep down she KNOWS she was supposed to be one of them even though that path is now closed to her). But she doesn't go back to Naboo, she doesn't make her home on her mother's home planet.
She goes to Alderaan instead. And this time, she gets to stay there for the rest of her life.

pairing: anakin skywalker x reader
summary: you and anakin have an argument over his relationship with senator amidala
warnings: arguing
words: 1.4k
a/n: yet another imagine based off of a taylor swift song and i’m not mad about it. requests for anakin are open! as always, i hope you enjoy! much love! <3
-—————————⋆。‧˚ʚɞ˚‧。⋆—————————-
You were currently in a heated argument with your boyfriend, Anakin. We both have been tasked with guarding Senator Amidala while she is here in Coruscant on business. You noticed how touchy she is with Anakin. You brought it up to him and he thinks you're overreacting. Now you are in a screaming match in his living quarters.
Anakin was standing up, arguing with you very intensely. You couldn't deny your jealousy towards the other woman, which had come about over the past few weeks.
"And why do you not have this level of friendship with other senators?" You yelled at him.
Anakin just looked at you, and rolled his eyes. "Oh come on, don't even start with that. I would have never thought you of all people would be jealous."
He looked irritated, as his hands were on his hips. "She's just a work friend, that's all."
"Okay." You roll your eyes. "You don't even try to brush off all her advancements. You just sit there and let her flirt with you. Of course I would be jealous." You yelled.
Your face was blood red and you swore there was probably steam coming out of your ears.
"She's not flirting with me.." He said, looking at you in annoyance.
"She's just being friendly." Anakin said. His eyes started to water a little, realizing you were starting to make him angry.
"I can't believe you're accusing me of this. Nothing is going on with her. We're just friends. Is that so hard for you to understand?"
Anakin's voice was loud and almost yelling.
"I don't think anything is going on between the two of you. I'm upset because you don't even try to set boundaries with her. How would you like it if some unbelievably attractive man were to be all touchy with me?" You try to reason.
Anakin's expression turned to annoyance, as he listened to your words.
He rolled his eyes and shrugged.
"I trust you. You should be able to do the same with me."
"I swear, I'm just friends with her, nothing more... Can't you just understand that? " He said, his tone and facial expressions growing even more upset as he continued speaking, realizing that you still didn't trust him.
"I do trust you Anakin, but that doesn't change the fact that it's upsetting to see a beautiful woman constantly flirting with my boyfriend!" You scream, tears starting to fill your eyes.
"Well, maybe you shouldn't be so insecure." Anakin said, now fully frustrated with you.
"I'm not allowed to have friends now? It's not like I'm flirting back." He added, rolling his eyes again.
"I trust you. Why can't you do the same with me?" Anakin said. "Do you even know me at all? Do you know how I feel around her?"
Anakin's tone became more defensive, and he looked away from you. This argument had gone on for a few minutes now.
"Fuck Anakin! Are you even listening to me?" You scream once more.
Before you even knew what you were doing you threw your phone across the room, directly towards Anakin.
"Hey, what the hell is-?" Anakin yelled as he was almost hit by your phone.
He looked extremely annoyed by your response.
"I was listening to you, but you seem to think so highly of yourself that I'm not allowed to have a god damn life!" Anakin said, trying to hold his anger. His expression became completely enraged.
"So I'm not allowed to talk to other women? I'm not allowed to be friends with others? Is that it? Should I cut ties with everyone but you? Is that how this works?" Anakin yelled.
"I told you already! I don't care that you have friends, as long as they don't drool all over you. And the worst thing about it is that you let it happen." Tears were now streaming down your face.
"You know what, I'm done." You storm out of Anakin's quarters, slamming the door behind you.
You headed to your room to cool off.
Anakin looked at you in shock, as you stormed out of the room.
He just stood there, not really knowing what to do.
He took a sharp breathe in and out, and put his hands on his hips.
"What the hell.." He said to himself, as he went back to his quarters, sitting down on his couch.
His expression went from frustrated, to angry. He couldn't believe you would just leave him like that. He was hurt.
You got back to your quarters and laid in your bed. Sobs were racking your body. You couldn't believe Anakin couldn't see where you were coming from. But you also felt awful about the way you acted. You decided that in the morning you would text him and ask him to come over to talk.
You rolled over and went to sleep, anticipating texting Anakin in the morning.
You woke up in the morning, feeling a little better about what had happened in the late hours of the night.
You grabbed your phone, and texted Anakin. We need to talk.
You hoped he would respond soon, since you really wanted to try and explain yourself, and talk things out with him.
You were waiting for Anakin's reply, as you laid in bed for a few minutes, your mind going to what you would say.
After about ten minutes you heard a knock on the door. You knew it was Anakin.
You opened the door to Anakin standing there wearing a clone trooper helmet. You had no idea how he got his hands on one.
You gave him a confused look.
"You know, incase you decide to throw anything again." He spoke through the helmet. You could practically hear his smirk.
"Ha Ha. You are so funny." You roll your eyes and let him in.
Anakin walked into your quarters and took off his helmet, looking as serious as ever.
He had seen the text asking him to come over to talk, and he didn't want to leave you hanging.
"My love, I got your text." He said, his gaze soft and gentle, as he sat down on your bed, leaning against the wall.
"We should talk. We both messed up last night, and I think we should fix that." He explained, not looking to point fingers at you or make you feel worse than you already did.
"I agree. I'm sorry for storming out like that last night. I appreciate you for coming over." You smile weakly.
Anakin smiled back at you.
"It's okay, honey. I'm sorry that I got so mad at you, but.. you have to know that nothing is happening between me and Senator Amidala."
He put his hand on your cheek, and looked directly into your eyes.
"I swear. Nothing is, I'm telling you the truth. If I felt something else, I would tell you. I love you, and I hope you know that I would never do anything to hurt you."
"I know, Ani. You are truly the best thing that has ever happened to me. You take the time to memorize me, my fears, my hopes and dreams. I just love hanging out with you." You look into his blue eyes.
"And let's be honest, no one else is going to love me even when I'm screaming in their face and throwing a phone at them." You giggle.
Anakin smiled at you, laughing slightly at your remark about throwing the phone at him.
"I'm glad we're able to laugh at some of our fights." He looked at you, still smiling.
"And you are very wrong, by the way. You are beautiful, you have so many friends, you're amazing."
"But you're right. I love knowing everything about you." He said, before kissing your cheek again. "I love you so much."
"I love you too and I promise to always stay, no matter how bad our fights get." You place your hand on his cheek.
"Well, if you leave, who am I going to fight with?" Anakin said jokingly. He then let out a deep sigh, closing his eyes, not wanting to think about you ever leaving him.
"Never leave me. Please." He said, slightly opening his eyes at you, his expression turning from love to fear.
He then pulled you closer to him, not wanting to leave your side.
"Let's always keep each other together. Forever."

Hii! First things first, I LOVE ur fics and ur blog! It's my first time requesting a fic since I'm always worried about overwhelming the writers. No pressure at all to write the fic okay??
I wanted to ask if you could write some spicy Crosshair x fem reader? Soo for the prompt I'm thinking Crosshair probably gets so jealous and worked up over the day watching you(reader) interact closely with other men, specially regs. He makes sure to mark you up and kriff you so good so you never forget who you belong to. Lots of dirty talking. He's sweet in the aftercare tho since he's a softie.
Also, if he spits in ur mouth that would be the cherry on top and chef's kiss, but it doesn't have to have that 🙊🙈🙈
Hiiiii sweetie 🥹
Thank you! That’s so so so kind to say it made me smile 🤩😁
I am so here for giving sexy Crosshair some loving 🫠🫠urhh he’s just a HOTTIE! I hope I captured him in the right way as I’ve never wrote for him and I hope you like this likkle bit of filth 🥵🥵hehehe

Another long day of listening to Nala Se , yes her knowledge is second to none and you had learnt a great deal but you could think of something else you’d much rather be doing right now.
You wonder at the far depths of your mind why you had been transferred from the medical base on Coruscant to Kamino however deep down you weren’t one to complain. If it meant you spent more time with a certain clone then maker you’d stay here forever and always. Crosshair had intrigued you from day one a total asshole but stars above you wanted him, his domineering stance, his conceited aura, the feral look in his eyes each time you pass each other, the animalistic look a one that could kill each time a reg gets a little to close to you. Yet nothing had happened and you were so desperate for his touch it kept you awake at night.
Finally back at your private quarters you had a chance to relax your mind and body until a loud knock pulled you from your thoughts.
“One moment” you call out pulling your robes over to give you some form of decorum.
Crosshair stands at your door leaned against the frame, swirling that toothpick at the side of his mouth, his arms crossed over his muscular lithe body, he glared at you, his jaw was clenching yet he remained silent.
“Crosshair- are y-you ok? What’s wrong?” You ask confused chewing your bottom lip.
You swallowed hard and the stoney silence did nothing to hide it. He scanned your body approving the silk of the fabric draped around you hugging your curves.
“Crosshair- what’s going on?” The authority in your tone causes him to raise a brow. A low chuckle escapes his lips. His usual expression unreadable yet something primal, something dark flashed behind his amber eyes.
He moves towards you closing the distance between your bodies, tension already boiling over. You quickly cover the remainder of your bare skin, Crosshair being as perceptive as ever notices. His gloved hands clutch at your wrists.
“Ah ah ah” his voice demanding and oh maker so fucking sexy.
“Take it off” he demanded.
Your eyes widened and a breath hitched in your throat as you slowly unwrapped your robe letting it drop the ground exposing your naked body. One hand reaches out to skim across your delicate flesh.
“Good girl- you don’t know what you do to me do you?” He growled his eyes blown wild with lust. He stalks you, backing you closer to the cool of the wall with each step he takes.
“What I do to you…?” Your voice bewildered.
“The regs… I’ve seen how close you work with them I’ve seen the way they look at you princess” he rasps , caging you in at the wall both fists planted at the side your head.
“Could the regs do this princess?” He scoffed whispering against your ear. He plunged two fingers into your moist core you gasped and wriggled in response. His fingers began to explore your tight pussy sliding in and out at a gentle pace. His free hand clasped around your throat, only allowing for a small amount of your to fill your lungs.
“Oh Cross-“ your soft moans cut off by his lips crashing against yours, the kiss was hot heavy and possessive. His fingers begin to relentlessly slide in and out, your juices soaking his fingers.
You moan and pant into his mouth, tongues and teeth collide as you begin to grind against his palm, a beautiful friction buzzing inside of you shooting blinding pleasure throughout your body. His pace only quickens pushing you closer and closer that sweet release.
Crosshair breaks away from the kiss pulling his fingers from your wet cunt. His eyes lock with yours. He studies your face before forcefully grabbing your chin the wetness from his fingers damp against your skin.
“Open” he growled
Obediently you part your lips and open your mouth looking up at this clone you’ve wanted for so long allowing Crosshair to spit in your mouth. Swallowing his spit you ran your tongue across your teeth, a feral glint sparkled in your eyes.
“Good little princess now bend over for me.” He hissed through gritted teeth.
You got on all fours for Crosshair back arched and ass sticking out , your fluttering cunt anxiously waiting for him to ruin you. He positioned himself behind you rubbing his throbbing length up and down your slit, quiet gasps fell from your lips.
“Please” you plead
“Patience princess” he scolded, his voice low, gravely.
His thick pulsating member sheathed fully inside of you brutally filling you with no warning. He began fucking into you mercilessly. Each thrust hard and deep smacking off that spongy spot your legs trembling as he fucks into you with such force. He leans down nipping and biting at your flesh relishing in the way you squirm and groan as his teeth mark you.
The sounds of wet squelching, his balls smacking against your skin and pitiful grunts and moans fill the small room.
“That’s it take me princess take my fucking cock in your cunt I know how fucking much you wanted it”
He growls into your neck placing open mouth wet kisses where his lips can reach.
“Uh fuck oh Crosshair harder” you whine and groan underneath him , the pace almost painful but never taking away from the burning coil tightening inside you.
“Regs won’t fuck you the way I do princess- you belong to me”
Your pelvic muscles tighten, the blistering heat ablaze across your body burning more and more, sharp gratifying sparks tingle through each vein as Crosshair continues his relentless pounding, your cunt throbs around him you moan louder gripping the soft sheets under your clamy skin.
Your edging so close to that beautiful feeling of pure rapture. You feel every vein every rib of Crosshairs fat cock fucking you senseless. He can feel the way your walls flutter around him, his thrusts erratic as he leans down into you clutching your neck the other engulfing your heavy breast.
“Fuck” Crosshair groans sinking his teeth into your neck.
“I’m gonna uh fuck Crosshair I’m gonna cum” you whine, eyes screwed shut, your breathing laboured.
Rocking your hips back into his harsh thrusts whimpering incoherently your body betrays you and cum hard, your eyes roll back , your vision blurs stars shooting across the back of your eyes , your pussy convulses.
Screams and moans floor the air.
“You sound so fucking pretty when you cum for me like a good little whore” Crosshair groans are strained as his calloused fingers curl roughly into your hips.
Your pathetic moans cause him to succumb to the blinding gratification and he coats your walls with his warm seed.
“Mmmm fuck good girl” his voice low husky, dark.
Creamy cum spills out from your ruined pussy dribbling down your thighs. Your bodies fall limp against each other. You feel his lips graze against your shoulder blade.
Tender sweet kisses litter your salty skin, a taste he gladly welcomes.
Crosshair slides of out of you achingly slow taking pleasure in the way your face contorts knowing you enjoy how this feels. You watch as he begins circling your clit before pushing back some of the mixed cum that falls freely from your swollen cunt.
A dark feral look splashes across his face.
“Lay back princess i want to taste that sweet pretty cunt.”

Summary: Wolffe's wife suddenly dies, leaving him a single father in the middle of a war.
Pairing: Wolffe x Fem!Reader
Characters: Wolffe, Cara (child OFC), Comet, Sinker, Boost, Plo Koon
Tags & Warnings: heavy angst, mention of death, off-screen death, spousal death, reader is not the spouse, grief, hurt/comfort, family fluff
Word Count: 1.2k
Author's Note: Things are still crazy right now, but I am managing. Thank you to everyone who has reached out. I appreciate it! This is another transitional chapter. Not much happens, other than the plot moving forward. You know, the meaning of "filler episode" really changes when you write 😅 The chapter isn't exciting or emotional, but it's still important to the overall plot and contains context for future chapters. As always, please enjoy 💚

Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4 - Part 5
Part 6 - Part 7 - Part 8 - Part 9 - Part 10
Tumblr media
The ride over to the Jedi Temple is quiet once Cara settles on Wolffe's lap. Most children fall asleep to the lull of a moving ship or speeder, and Cara is no exception. Wolffe doesn't mind, though. He prefers her to be asleep and peaceful than awake and chaotic. She's been through enough already, and yet, the tragedy is nowhere near over. Not by a long shot. Deep down he knows the funeral is going to rip off every band-aid he and the others have meticulously placed.
They can lie, dance around the truth, replace facts with illusion, and carefully craft misdirection, but at the end of the day, they can't hide it forever. The pain is painted across all of their faces. A grim truth they all know but refuse to acknowledge, even for Wolffe. No one wants to speak it aloud out of fear that maybe, just maybe, if they don't say it, it won't happen. But while trying to conceal it from Cara, they have disillusioned themselves with their own blank stares and frowns.
Wolffe stares out the window and watches as other speeders fly by, lost in his thoughts about the future. Not many clones think about the future, because it's not in their brain chemistry to look beyond anything other than their immediate present, but that changed for Wolffe after he met his wife. There was a moment where it felt like he unlocked a part of his brain. The part that wants to survive and thrive, instead of fight and die. It's a fleeting feeling, but there nonetheless.
He's wondering, not only about the funeral, but what comes after. What will he do when he gets a new assignment? He can't stay on Coruscant forever. No clone can. Wolffe scoffs at his own thoughts and corrects himself. In reality, the only clones who can stay on Coruscant forever are the Coruscant Guard. At this moment, Wolffe thinks they're lucky, even if they don't. Fox would kill to be back on the battlefield, and Wolffe would trade his command with Fox’s in a heartbeat.
However, Fox has his own life to lead and his own things to worry about on Coruscant. This is just how life is for the clones. It's a luck of the draw in who gets to be a commander and who gets stationed where. To the Republic, all clones are the same, so it shouldn't matter what clones go where, but to the clones, sometimes, it does matter. Clones who haven't been around long enough don't understand, and those who have, don't live long enough after they find out.
Wolffe is pulled from his thoughts when they arrive at the Jedi Temple. He peers out the window at the towering structure and breathes deep as he feels his heart rate increase. He's never been enthralled with the Jedi like other clones; finding their religion strange and their battle tactics even stranger. Perhaps it's the deep-seeded Mandalorian genes coursing through his veins that makes him wary of the so-called peacekeepers, even if Rex tries to convince him otherwise.
The only Jedi Wolffe remotely likes or cares about is his own. General Plo Koon saved him, Boost's, and Sinker's lives, and for that he owes him his undying loyalty. The rest he disregards. He serves them as he should, like any good soldier who follows orders, but that doesn't mean he has to like them or worship them. It's the Jedi that caused him to lose his first battalion, even though he alone received the demerits for it, much to his general's disgruntled displeasure.
To stand at the precipice of the Jedi Temple with the intent to leave his beloved daughter in the care of these Force-wielding wizards that aren't his general makes his skin crawl. Even with his disdain for the Jedi, it's still better than the alternative of Cara entering the foster care system, or even worse, being left in the care of her grandparents. That thought alone makes Wolffe bristle. At least with this arrangement, he can come and go within the Jedi Temple without explanation.
"Do you want to put your armor on?" Comet asks from across Wolffe.
Wolffe moves his gaze from the window to look down at Cara, who's still asleep in his lap, and then up at Comet. "Whenever I put my armor on, she thinks I'm leaving."
"Understood," Comet nods. "I'll have Aug– Warthog lug it to your new quarters."
Wolffe chuckles.
"I'll grab a box," Sinker says as he exits the speeder.
"I'll grab the other box," Boost says as he also exits the speeder.
Comet, Cara, and Wolffe are left alone in the speeder and Wolffe isn't keen on moving.
"You really don't want to do this, do you?" Comet asks.
"Would you?" Wolffe retorts, his disdain bleeding through. "Would you leave your kid with strangers? With Jedi?"
"It's not that bad," Comet says.
Wolffe huffs and looks back out the window. "You'll never understand."
"Guess not," Comet sighs. "I'll probably die before I fall in love and have a kid like you did."
Wolffe snaps his gaze back to Comet and glares at him. "Don't get insubordinate with me, Trooper."
"Wouldn't dream of it, Commander," Comet says before leaving the speeder.
Wolffe tilts his head back against the top of the seat and groans. He is such an idiot. Even after everything Comet did for him following his wife's death, everything he did for Cara, Wolffe still has the audacity to bite at him like he's some random shiny that stepped out of line. Pathetic. At least he continues to live up to his namesake, whether he's proud of it or not, because when you corner a wolf, it will lash out. He needs to get his fears, anxieties, and his temper under control.
"Daddy?" Cara says sleepily as she stirs on his lap.
Wolffe tilts his head back down and smiles. "Hi, baby."
Cara whines. "I wanna sleep."
Wolffe picks her up so she's sitting on his legs instead of laying on them, much to her protest. "Not yet. We need to get settled in our new room first, then you can have a nap."
Cara whines and wriggles against Wolffe.
"I know," Wolffe soothes as he exits the speeder and sits her on his hip. "Daddy wants a nap too, but can you stay awake for me for a little longer?"
Cara groans and moves restlessly in Wolffe's grasp.
"Close enough," Wolffe sighs.
Wolffe carries Cara towards the edge of the stairway leading up to the Jedi Temple, where his general and men are waiting for him. He grips her tightly in his arms, afraid that at any moment someone is going to rip her out of his arms and he'll never see her again. It's not an entirely irrational fear. The Jedi take children away from their parents all of the time. What makes his daughter so different from those children? What if he leaves her here and never gets her back?
"Calm yourself, Commander," Plo says when he senses Wolffe's trepidation through the Force. "There are no enemies within these walls, only the enemies we bring in from within ourselves."
Wolffe heeds his general's words of wisdom and steadies himself. He stares up at the daunting, stone stairway, takes a deep breath, and releases it slowly. He's as ready as he will ever be, and he hasn't even gotten to the hard part yet. Nevertheless, he steps forward, and his men step forward with him in solidarity. A silent march up the Jedi Temple steps towards a new normal. A terrifying new normal, for both him and Cara, and this is only the beginning of it.

57 - 83, correspondence in a haunted house :3
Codywan, warning for Order 66 and all that implies. Apologies to @ilthit; I know these aren't your blorbos. And apologies to everybody whose blorbos they are for the angst.
---
The hut looks utilitarian from the outside, in the ugly way all buildings designed for hostile environments do - a squat, ugly thing, trying to protect life in the Tatooinian deserts that are so unforgiving to it. It reminds Cody of the war, of efficiently designed ships and makeshift shelters. Obi-Wan always hated the war, despite excelling at it.
"This isn't the kind of place I expected you to settle down in."
Cody's voice is hoarse. Who's to say from what. Lack of use. Too much of it.
"And yet, you found me." Obi-Wan's words flow the same way they always did, smooth like honey and crisp like fresh water, despite his having spent the last however kriffing many years as a hermit with no one to talk to but his personal demons.
Tatooine in general is nothing like the places Obi-Wan used to be most at ease, back when they worked together. He was at home in the lively cityscape of Coruscant, and enjoyed sojourns on planets teeming with green, living things.
"Cody, I-"
His voice is closer now. Cody didn't hear him move.
"Still not one for materialism, I see."
He slowly makes his way through the main room, stepping around sparse furnishings and careful to keep his eyes off the sleeping area.
"Well, a nexu can't change its stripes."
Obi-Wan is in front of him again, as if by magic, or some Force trick. There's a softness in his voice, and it sinks into Cody's gut like a vibroblade.
"I thought I changed." He stares at the ground because he can't look up at Obi-Wan, and he can't look back at the bed.
"Oh darling, that was never you."
"It still is me. I shouldn't have come. I should have stayed away."
"I've missed you."
Obi-Wan's feet shuffle into view, soft cloth coots and soft leg wrappings silent where Cody's beaten armour creaks with each breath he takes.
To be fair, they are rather heaving breaths.
"I've missed you too. Once I could again."
He's through the kitchen, now. There's a pantry to his left, and a bathroom to his right. That's the extend of the hut; there's nowhere else to go.
Obi-Wan stays in front of him, even as he turns around.
"I mourned you. I thought I killed you. When I heard rumours that you were still alive, I couldn't help myself."
There's a side door in the kitchen. He should go there instead of back to the living area. That's where the bed is.
"Cody, dear. You came all the way to see me. Won't you look at me? I promise, all that could happen already has."
He can hear the ventilation unit running to the side. Despite its reassuring hum, Cody can't breathe properly.
"I thought I was safe for you."
"Calm yourself, Cody. You are safe for me now."
They are standing close enough now that, underneath his armour, the hairs on Cody's arms stand on edge.
Cody gives up and looks up. He never could help himself, or he wouldn't have come in the first place.
Obi-Wan's eyes are blue, so blue, and the skin around them is lined with crow's feet and sorrow. Even now, the smile they crinkle with is sad.
"There you are, darling," he says. He's so close, and yet his breath doesn't cool the sweat on Cody's face.
Nothing more does happen as Cody looks at him and Cody, Cody finally gets to see him.
It already has, after all.
Through Obi-Wan, blue, blue, blue like the sky and just as untouchable, he can make out the shape of the corpse tangled in the sheets, a curl of steam still rising from the blaster hole C-2224 put between his eyes.
Good soldiers follow orders, the Jedi are traitors, and Cody sinks to the ground while the illusion of the man who paid for his mistake asks him to breathe.

Hello there! I love your May The Force Be With You so much that I am requesting one! Here’s mine: The reader calms Cal down when he is using the Dark Side (During Jedi Survivor near the end when he’s chocking Lan Denvick) but you choose the reader calms him down.
oki doki!
I'm right here
Tumblr media
Pairing: Cal Kestis x Fem reader Summary: Cal seeks revenge by using the dark side of the force against the hidden base of the Imperial Security Office. You arrive just in time before he does something crazy Warnings: Blood, violence, fight, chocking, spoilers of jedi survivor, angst but fluff ending kinda (If I forget something let me know) A/N: This is my first request, sorry for the delay, btw I had to research the game to write this lol
Tumblr media
Cal walked with sure and furious steps towards the base, wielding his saber that now shone bright red ready to attack anyone who crossed his path. The red light contrasted with his green eyes and gave him a menacing look, Cal wanted revenge, to avenge the death of his friends and his seething anger toward embracing his dark side. You stayed on the ship praying that nothing bad happens to him or that he doesn't cause a lot of blood to flow. You understood Cal more than anyone and how painful it is to lose a loved one, especially when they had already lost someone before.
Finding Lank Denvik sitting behind a command desk, Cal approached him with BD1 slung over his shoulder. The redhead's gaze showed no compassion or patience.
"Cak Kestis"-Lank said
"Listen carefully, deactivate the alarm system now"
"Or what? You're a Jedi, I know what you're capable of and what you're not capable of."
Denvik took out a blaster that he had hidden but Cal was faster and took it out of his hands thanks to the force. The freckled man took out his own gun without stopping pointing it at him.
"On the comms. Now"-The redhead said impatiently and intimidatingly, knowing that one mistake and he would just have to pull the trigger.
After deactivating the alarm Cal explained that he was there because of Bode, and saying that he found him thanks to a tracker. Unsurprised, Lank, as if accustomed to her pathetic carelessness, simply casually commented that Bode's reports indicated that the two of them had become quite close since Coruscant. Cal's gruff expression softened slightly as he lowered his gun slowly, something in his brain clicking, as if his gears had been set into motion.
"You were the one who sent him to infiltrate my team.."
"That's right, he was my weapon for a long time, he was very effective. Not like those armored idiots in the inquisitorious"
"So it's true, Cere died because of you"-Cal's gaze became hard as steel again as he gritted his teeth.
Lank leaned forward in his seat. "No, there are still months until Operation Jedha"
"You're lying!"-The redhead used force by clenching his fist to push Lank's back against his seat and immobilize him.
"The empire burned the archives led by Darth vader!!"
"Lord Vader? I have to stop this while I can"
The man approached the commandos again but Cal extended his hand firmly and pushed him back again in anger.
"Don't you understand? He lured you here to destroy me! They're coming! I'll be a dead man unless-"
The redhead clenched his jaw, tired of listening to him speak, without thinking twice he drew his fist towards his chest and Lank's head hit the table making a thud. Cal looked at him with a sullen expression, the only thing he felt was displeasure for that man. With his black inquisitor suit, to go unnoticed, he decided to head towards where Bode was always with his droid at his side. When she arrived she saw Bode's daughter Kata packing her bags, the little girl explained that that was what her father had told her to do because they were supposedly going on a trip. At that moment Bode entered the room, when he saw Cal his muscles tensed, the redhead took a step with a predatory look in his pupils but Bode extended his hand in a stop sign and explained his past. That he was a Jedi Knight assigned as an undercover agent during the Clone Wars. Bode also talked to him about how he met his wife and they had Kata and the deal with Denvik. Cal let his guard down a little at Bode's story but that was his only mistake. Using force, Bode pushes him making him fall on his back and escapes with Kata and the compass alerting the imperials.
Cal, flushed with anger and with dilated pupils, leaves the room without being able to stop Bode and his daughter, just at that moment dozens of imperials are preparing to shoot him. Cal wields his saber embracing the dark side and faces the soldiers, dodging and blocking each blow while with his red saber he cuts the armor and flesh of the Imperials. He is an unstoppable beast, like an enraged bull he cuts the skin and impales several imperials without much difficulty, the desire for revenge and anger moves him as if he were carried away by a wave or ocean currents. Memories of all the people he received love from and then lost came to his mind. He no longer knew how to differentiate between anger and sadness, a whirlwind of emotions debated inside him but an emotion stronger than the others surfaced and won everything. Hatred.
Meanwhile in the Mantis
You and Greez were waiting for Cal to finish his mission. Since you were used to fighting you already had your uniform and your blaster on your belt, you nervously felt it to know it was still there. Greez reassured you by telling you that Cal knew how to defend himself and that he would be fine, but Cal knowing how to defend himself is exactly what worried you. Many times you had seen him succumb to the dark side of the force and you had to hug him so that he would return to the light, you hoped that this time it would be different, that Cal would not make too big a massacre. But you couldn't blame him, if he were you you would have done the same, he was just hurt and he needed to somehow vent those feelings into something to make sure Cere's death wasn't in vain.
Suddenly a roar and screams shook the Mantis and made the ground vibrate. You two had to hold on to your seats to keep from falling to the ground. You looked at Greez with concern and fear, you had to get out of there as soon as possible. After the tremor passed you jumped up from your seat and headed towards the exit of the ship. Greez stopped you screaming
"Wait! where are you going!?"
"I need to find Cal, he's the one causing this."
You adjusted the blaster to your belt and were about to leave when he grabbed your arm firmly, you turned to look at him with a frown.
"No, no no wait! Don't do anything stupid. Trust him"
You removed his hand with a distressed gesture.
"You don't understand, he is in contact with the dark side, he has no self-control. I am the only one who can stop him!"
Before Greez could say anything you jumped off the ship, landing on one knee on the cold floor of the base and ran like hell. Greez yelled something at you but you didn't listen, all you thought about was finding him. You ran and ran with your hair flying in the wind wishing it wasn't too late. At your sides there were imperialist soldiers on the ground dead and bleeding, you looked away in horror.
"Please don't let it be late"-you prayed in a low voice without stopping running
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Cal continued massacring soldiers, he was breathing heavily and his hair had stuck to his sweaty forehead from the effort. The lightsaber gave off red sparks like fire and hummed with every cut and movement, the freckled man did not notice the fatigue, the hatred and aberration he felt was like pure adrenaline injected into his veins and drove him to continue attacking no matter what. When there was no more imperial, Cal, breathing like a rearing horse, deactivated his saber. You were still running around the corpses when you finally saw him, you felt your heart beat out of your chest and with slight relief you trotted towards him. Cal saw you and a look of surprise wrinkled his forehead, he didn't expect to see you there.
"Cal!"
You shouted his name as you quickly approached him with a small smile and great relief, at least he was still alive. You were not even a meter away when your smile faded and with horror you saw how Denvik was approaching Cal from behind with a blaster in his hand.
"Watch out behind you!!"
The redhead already saw it coming, so returning to his sullen and enraged gesture, he unsheathed his saber and blocked the shots with ease while he attracted Lank with the use of force, preventing him from moving. Cal raised his saber and held it tightly dangerously close to the man's neck, the red glow shining on Cal's face and giving him a menacing look. You closed the distance between you and Cal and came to stand close to him at his side, scared of what he might do.
"Come on Jedi, if you're going to kill me, do it now. Do it!!"
But Cal had other plans. He put his saber away and raised his clawed hand, levitating Lanken as he writhed and put his hands on his neck, coughing. Cal was choking him.
"Cordova, CERE! THEY ARE DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU!! And now you're going to pay for it..."
Lank was beginning to cough and gasp for air, his face was turning slightly purple while his eyes wanted to pop out of their sockets.
"Cal, enough is enough..!"
Your cries of fear and anguish were words inaudible to Cal as if they had been carried away by the wind. He couldn't listen or even reason, he only had eyes to see Lanken die, the man who made him suffer so much and took away his friends, his family. Cal's gaze fell on the man's face as it went from violet to pinkish red, and a slight grimace of satisfaction crossed the redhead's lips for a moment. Cal seemed to enjoy his suffering, using force was much more pleasant than if he had impaled him with his saber, a slow and painful death was what Lanken deserved. You, horrified, placed a hand on Cal's tense shoulder, hoping he would listen.
"Cal listen to me, I'm here, please don't do it. Don't become a murderer like him."
Cal didn't seem to listen, he just kept seeing his enemy, you tried to attack from the other side.
"Do you really think this is what Cere or Cordova would have wanted? Prove that you're better than him."
You grabbed the freckled man's cheek, forcing him to look at him. He looked back at you, blinded by fury, but you didn't care.
"Cal look at me, this won't make them come back, please come back to me, I'm begging you"- you cried.
The redhead's face softened and he released Lanken who fell abruptly to the ground while holding his chest and coughing and retching. For a moment Cal seemed to come back to himself, as if a blindfold had been removed from his eyes and his gaze softened, once again showing that sweet and gentle look that made his green eyes shine with heavenly intensity. He looked around as if seeing it for the first time, realizing the damage he did, feeling a little guilty under the sad sight, you approached him and rested your forehead against his, grabbing his cheeks gently.
"It's okay, it's over"
You rubbed your forehead against his like horses would and then hugged him tightly, burying your face in the crook of his neck, not wanting to let him go again. He sighed, holding you and he relaxed his body as if you had lifted a great weight off of him. As you slowly peeled yourself away from the hug, you noticed that his eyes were watering. You tenderly wiped away the tears that surrounded his cheek with your thumb. You understood Cal's pain more than anyone and you didn't want him to suffer alone because he wasn't alone, and he never was. You gave him a sweet kiss on the lips to reassure him and assure him that you would always be by his side supporting him and then feeling slightly better he gave you a shy smile, the one you missed seeing so much.
"Let's go back to the ship, Greez must be worried"
You told him as you placed a hand on his back and you both walked tiredly towards the Mantis.

I can see you (Javier's Version)- a Javi P one shot by @proxima-writes
I love a good file room fuck with Javi, so obviously this was just my style. I also love the way Javi gets all frustrated with the teasing. Him crumpling up that note UGHAGH. And then the way you ended it? I won't spoil it, but it made me giggle. I cannot believe you don't write Javi regularly. You nailed it.

------- SERIES <333 -------
These are series I keep tabs on in a separate spreadsheet and check once a week to see if they've been updated. Most of these have been recommended before, but they deserve all the attention.
I know some people don't like to start reading WIPs before they're finished, and that is valid, but these are worth it. Oh and some are complete and I just haven't finished them yet. It's my personal spreadsheet so it's a little messy lol.

Luke's inner conflict surrounding attachment and the Jedi code from my Dinluke fic
“Love and compassion are the Jedi way.” “But not family.” Luke is again stabbed by that brief, painful conversation. Sometimes moments of it will play out in his head and it’s as if he’s there again, except in his mind he stays and doesn’t leave, and he has an answer for Din when he says that the Jedi way is incompatible with the Mandalorian values of family.  “Luke. It's normal to be afraid for the people you care about, but that doesn't make it okay to push human connection away. Yes, it might be hard to figure this out as a Jedi, but what you're doing right now is avoiding your fear, which isn't going to make you any less afraid or the reality that bad things do happen any less painful.” Leia has always been wiser than him. “I believe the Jedi lost their way. Instead of dealing with how we felt in a healthy way, we were encouraged to push our fear and anger away, and many of us, Anakin included, bottled it up. He was… scared of something, and nobody helped him, or reassured him, because it was about your mother and he’d broken the Jedi code to be with her.” Ahsoka became completely disenchanted with the Jedi. And Luke doesn’t blame her — not after what she went through. It’s no wonder she struggles to associate herself with the name. In her view, the Jedi failed his father, she failed his father — even though there was nothing anyone could have done to prevent him from turning to the dark side.  He… he would never have made the choice his father did. If it came down to it, if it was Din in his mother’s place — “I can’t choose you, I can never choose you. Can you really tell me you understand that?” Din brought a hand up to his helmet. “I don’t know.”  What did Din mean then? He didn’t know if he could understand putting someone above everyone and everything, including what you believe in?  “Had she said the word, I would have left the Jedi Order to be by her side.” And even Ben. Why would he have had to leave the Order?  The point is — It all comes back to — Leia.  “…what you're doing right now is avoiding your fear, which isn't going to make you any less afraid or the reality that bad things do happen any less painful.” He wants to make Din understand, maybe by pushing him down and kissing him, because why the Force shouldn’t he love someone like that? Yes, it’s terrifying, but he’d sure rather love Din and have that than end up like Ben (sorry, Ben) who for some reason had the idea that loving someone equalled selfishness and destroyed your ability to put anything or anyone above the person you love and therefore was the antithesis of the Jedi code. “Attachments lead to pain, pain leads to suffering. The path to the dark side, it is.” But Yoda didn’t mention that pain is caused by fear of loss. Fear of loss is a result of one’s inability to accept that loss is part of life. Attachment does not mean love. Attachment means… a desire for control over things in life that cannot be controlled. Being tied to them. And as much as Luke loves Din he would never want to be tied to him in that way. As a Jedi, Luke must love with acceptance that everything he loves he may one day lose. Otherwise, he risks following in the footsteps of his father. Can he do it?
Further:
Context for the story: Luke is trying to rebuild the Jedi Order, falls in love with Din (who decides to embrace being the Mand'alor after being inspired by Luke), has a terrifying vision that his attachment to Din will lead to pain, and pretty much runs away to Leia on Coruscant where he tries to figure the whole thing out.
Ahsoka has gone anti-Jedi because she had a traumatic experience and still blames herself and everyone for what happened to Anakin. This is a character flaw she may or may not overcome in this story.
When Din says "but not family" implying that he believes family goes against the Jedi code, he is in the wrong and later feels immensely guilty because 1) it's mean (he was upset) and 2) his idea of family is mightily messed up, having been raised by a cult. The extremity of the guilt he feels is, though, irrational, because he has a lot of issues and he was having a panic attack in the scene where he reflects on what he said which messes up your judgement (source: personal experience).
I will revise this section because I don't think it represents Obi-Wan's feelings for Satine (I'll need to think about this more):
he’d sure rather love Din and have that than end up like Ben (sorry, Ben) who for some reason had the idea that loving someone equalled selfishness and destroyed your ability to put anything or anyone above the person you love and therefore was the antithesis of the Jedi code.
Luke fully recognises here that Anakin's own choices led him to becoming Vader. (Something Ahsoka still struggles to accept.) If this is not something you agree with please DNI with this post or with me, because I will not change my opinion.
Save for that, I would absolutely appreciate any comments or insight (I may not take them into account, but I'd be interested to hear them anyway because I want to offer as rich an insight as I can into this issue and discussion is super great for that). Also I think I might have clarity issues in this passage so if anything is unclear feel free to let me know (kindly - I am human).
Also important: I am NOT writing a Luke who 'gives up' being a Jedi because omg Din Djarin! They are both incredibly interesting characters in their own right with their own beliefs that are integral to who they are and I intend to do them as much justice as I can.
If you read the story (which I will link below) please be aware that it is a first draft and therefore I don't feel that it perfectly expresses all of the messages I want to get across. Still, huge thanks if you give it a try!

I Wish You Would Come Back
Words: 584
Warnings: probably poor writing and OOC characters but whatever
Star Wars Masterlist Main Masterlist 1989 (TV) Event Masterlist Join My Taglist
Just letting it know that I'm having that Anakin this happens before the events of AOTC as well as immediately after
Kinda having this lowkey based on the relationship between my OC and Anakin, which is why Y/N is a bounty hunter
Also oml I'm so sorry for how bad this is, I tried though, I really did
Also sorry for this taking so long and basically ending in an open way, that was on purpose
This is the "I Wish You Would" part of my 1989 event!
Anywho, enjoy
Love Z <3
Y/N stood outside her ship as Anakin walked up to her. Her arms were crossed as she tried to remain stoic. As the events from those days in the past year weren't real. That they had never happened. That the feeling she had gained for the training Jedi weren't real at all. She knew why he was here and she knew she had to accept it.
Afterall, she had a year to pretend it never happened. She should be used to it by now.
"Thanks for the help. Obi Wan and I really appreciated it."
She smiled, "Of course. You know I'm always willing to help you two,"
She watched him let out a breath, "Also...about what happened the other night, at the club, let's just...forget about it? Just like last time. It's in the past."
She clenched her fists, "Really? Is that...is that really what you want?"
"What I want doesn't matter. The code matters. I can't throw away being a Jedi for...for you."
"But you could for Padmé Amidala?" She muttered before letting out a long breath. "Whatever Anakin. I'll see you next time you guys decide that you need help and advice from a bounty hunter with an odd code."
"Y/N--"
"Go back to Obi Wan, don't want him to think we're doing something against your code."
"Do you hate me?" He whispered.
She sucked in a breath, "Just go."
--------
Y/N stared out the window of her apartment on Coruscant. It was a recent purchase. She couldn't really explain what it was about. Why she bought the apartment. Maybe it was that she had a pretty good view of the temple. Maybe it was because she thought she'd have a chance to see him again, to explain her outburst.
She knew that he thought that she hated him now, but he still had no idea what she had never said to him.
Sometimes she wished that he would come back. That he would pick up the transmissions she would send. She wished that he would know she would never forget him.
--------
Y/N looked down the ally, seeing the face of the man she had known for years now. She had heard about what had happened on Geonosis. About what happened to Senator Amidala. She let out a shot of air, he looked different than before, almost as if he was exhausted. She saw, even from the distance, his braid was gone.
And before she even could stop it, his voice was leaving her lips. "Anakin?"
He looked, almost surprised, as he saw her face. She could tell that he wanted to run away, but she could see that something begged him to stay. He walked towards her, no longer hesitant, but completely sure.
"Y/N." His voice was rougher than the last time she saw him. He had a small glimmer in his eyes. "What're you doing here? Thought you hated Coruscant."
"More bounties. Many people are in the underworld part of Coruscant." She moved her hand to methodically fiddle with the strap that held her blaster in. "You look different."
"Yeah?" He gave a small smile, "You do too. In a good way."
"Yeah." She sniffed, "About what I said last time, I didn't--"
"I get it. You were angry. Rightfully so. I led you to think that you...that I would break my code back then."
Back then. The words echoed in her ears. "And now?"
She whispered, "I don't know."

Clone oc Specter x fem!Reader
Word Count: 1878
Song: Empty Crown by YAS
Rating: 🔞 MATURE!! 🔞 MINORS DNI 🔞
Contents and Warnings: self-harm/talks of suicide (Specter), blood, abandonment issues, off screen character death (not Specter or reader), trauma and pain, Post Order 66, just the saddest most painful fic I've written to date I am so sorry
Summary: It's rare to see a clone trooper outside of imperial control, especially on Coruscant. Specter asks you to meet him for a drink, and the night doesn't go as you'd expected.
Author's Notes: PLEASE HEED THE WARNINGS!!!! This is a heavy fic!! If you are in any way triggered by anything that is up there, DO NOT READ THIS FIC!!!
I will NOT be putting the taglist on this one because of the contents of this fic. Please read at your own discretion. "The Midnight Tavern" is a nightclub with live music and an escort service that my partner and I created for our Star Wars OCs.

That shock of white hair always seemed to catch your eye in the neon lights. You'd never seen Specter at The Midnight Tavern without his brothers there, but this time he was alone. You take your time getting to him, stopping just shy of his side to wait for him to notice you with a smug smile. "You like me."
"Kriff you're annoying," his glare, and his words, did absolutely nothing to hide the fact that his arm pulled you closer into him, thumb running over your shoulder as he surveyed the bar, "Lucky you're so pretty, Cyar'ika. I'd be less inclined to keep you around if you weren't." Yet still, his actions betray his words as he pressed a gentle kiss to the side of your head.
You can hear him whisper to you, "Thought about you the whole time we were apart," and you feel blush bloom across your face.
"I missed you too Specs," you tease, leaning into him a little more with your arms around his middle, "What happened, where did you go? With the jedi, the-" he effectively shuts you up with a kiss that knocks the wind out of you. He dips you a little, and your hands to find purchase on his back as you grip his shirt.
When Specter pulls back, his eyes show pain that wasn't there before the end of the war. "Not here... can't draw attention." He kisses you once more before setting you back on your feet.
You swallow thickly, dazed, butterflies in your stomach, "Do you... want to leave? We don't have to stay here, we could take a walk?"
He simply nods, arm around your shoulders, not wanting to let you go even for a second. You'd be lying if you said you wanted him to let go, anyway. Your arm goes around his waist, the other hand lacing your fingers with his as his hand draps over your shoulder. You liked that he was clingy with you still, at least that much hadn't changed.
The air has bite to it, cold with an impending rain. Before you can shiver, Specter takes off his jacket and puts it around you. That's when you notice the bandages wrapping his arms, red lines of blood showing on the white gaux. "You're hurt... Specter, what happe-"
"An order came in." He snaps, breathing harsh, eyes dark, "We were told-- it doesn't matter. None of it matters anymore. My brothers- we're hiding, I can't be out long, I just-" his shoulders relax, warm breath causing clouds of steam in the cold, "I needed to see you one more time."
The phrase sits strange in your mind, and you want to ask him what he means, but suddenly he's pushing you against a wall. Your breathing hitches as Specter's body shields you from passing Corries, as if he wasn't the one who'd be taken if he was recognized. This close, you can feel his warmth, his heartbeat visible under his shirt. You're not sure if it's the close proximity, or the adrenaline of the moment, but the heat blooming in your core makes you blush, "Specter..."
"Shh", with his hand on your mouth, it only makes that burning heat more intense, "We have to get out of here, know a place to lay low?"
You guide Specter back to your flat, not too far from Midnight Tavern. He chuckled, "That's why you preferred it over 79's."
"Well, that, and Midnight's never let anyone get hurt or drugged," You're quick to add, "Not that 79's is! It's just... different in a smaller club, especially when their headliner is also the bouncer." You get a chuckle from Specter with the last bit, and your heart feels warm.
Now in the safety your studio flat, Specter's hands are on you again. He feels greedy, almost, the way his hands trail your body almost too rough, but never harder than you like. He tugs your bottom lip with his teeth and you instinctively open your mouth for him, moaning into that rough kiss. Possessive, you think. That's the better word, he's possessive of you. You belong to him.
When your hands touch his arms you recoil fast, pulling away, "Specs-" you push his face away, and a look of horror flashes across your eyes when you see blood on his face where you'd touched him. Specter reaches up to hold your face, concern in his eyes, "Did I hurt y-"
His eyes go dark again, looking at the bloodied bandgaes on his arms, "Kriff... you have anything for this? Bacta patch, gaux?"
As you hurry away with a nod, you hear Specter drop himself onto your bed. "Do not ruin my sheets!"
"Not yet anyway! That's a team effort," he chuckles, but when you return with tears pricking the sides of your eyes, his humor fades. His mouth is dry as he looks at you, voice softer now, "Bunny hey... no, I'm fine, really. Just-- just some cuts."
He tries to take the bandages from you, but you hold them away, "Let me see."
"Bunny, no, I--"
"Specter let me see your fucking arms." You know his habits. You know what he does when he loses someone. You know that everything is messed up right now and you don't know why, but you know something terrible happened to him specifically.
Tally marks. Fresh, all over his arms, dozens. The red cuts mar his skin in painful lines, and his lip wobbles as you look up into his face with fear, "I ran out of room..." You've never seen Specter cry before, but his quiet, broken mutter breaks into tears.
"Why didn't Wraith dress these? Fuck Specs, what happened to you?" As you dress the wounds, wrapping them tight after spraying them with bacta, you notice there's a dark patch under his shirt, and your stomach drops, "No..."
You don't ask as you pull the shirt off of him, seeing a small square bandage over his left pectoral, directly over his heart. You pull the soiled bandage off, and cover your mouth. Six tally marks, fresh, bigger than the others. Specter swallows hard, his body shaking, "Athena's dead."
"No, no, how- how do you know, maybe she-"
He snaps, yelling now, his hands on his head, eyes shut tight, "WE SHOT HER!"
You sit in silence.
Specter doesn't move, he looks like he's vibrating, holding his breath, holding in all the pain in his heart. When you reach for him, he pushes your hand away, but you lock your fingers with his, and grab his face with the other, making him look at you, "You're not dying on me, Specter."
He hiccups, shaking his head, "No, no I-"
""I needed to see you one more time,"" you parrot his words back to him, anger in your eyes, "That's not something you say to someone you plan on sticking around for. Now tell me what the fuck happened to you."
He chokes through his story. Order 66. The nightmare that came to life. Phantom pulling the trigger. Athena's fearful expression as she hit the ground. That curse being broken as soon as she hit the ground. The roar they knew so well, Dax'Malkin now hunting them, broken and turning toward the dark side. The brothers splitting up in the chaos, losing each other.
"I don't know who I am anymore... what I am. We killed our little sister, our fa- Dax, he's... Banshee left me," he breaks again, hugging himself tight, "He left me... we promised, and-- I went back to The Crypt, but it wasn't there, Ban wasn't-- WE PROMISED!!"
You dress the tally marks on his heart, placing a soft kiss over the bandage, and then press your hand firmly in the center of his chest, "Lay down. I'm going to get you some water, and something to eat. You're going to finish all of it, and then we're going to lay down, and I'm going to hold you, got it?"
You wait for him to nod, then help him get his boots off. Once he's comfortable in your bed, you head to the kitchenette and fix yourself and Specter something quick. Two small bowls of soup, but it was enough. "Hey, sit up for me, come on."
Specs does as he's told, but doesn't bother with the spoon you hand him, only drinking from the side of bowl because it's all he can really muster at the moment. He looks deep into the bowl, eyes glassed over, "You know... I don't think I'd be here without you."
"Shut up," you elbow him a little as you settle in beside him, drinking your soup in the same fashion, "Of course you would be."
"No." Specter lets his arms down, gaze still fixed on the bowl in his hands, "You're the reason I didn't kill myself that day. That's-- that's such a shit thing to put on you, kriff... I just-" he covers his eyes, tears flowing again, "If I'd lost you too, there'd be no reason left in the fucking galaxy to go on."
He turns to you, his head on your shoulder, "There's nothing left but you... my whole life was made for a war that's over, everything I know, everyone I loved... They're tally marks. All but you..."
For the first time, it hits you just how much of Specter's life wasn't his. He always talked about "being here for a good time, not a long time", always making a joke about his mortality, how expendable he is. "Credit a dozen toy soldier." You never believed he really thought those things until this moment, when you'd seen him raw.
"Finish your soup, Specs..." you kiss his head, caressing his face with a free hand, "You're okay... I'm here. I'm not going anywhere."
Again, he does as he's told, and manages to pound the glass of water you'd brought for him as well. He struggles with that most, choking a few times, but eventually you're clearing away dishes and giving them a quick wash. When you're back in bed, you cradle Specter against you.
His arms wrap around you instinctively, face buried in your chest. You'd been like this before, held him like this before, but it felt different now. Your hands lay against him, rubbing his back and carding through his hair. He feels heavy in your arms, the exhaustion and sorrow physical weights on him.
"I'm sorry Cyare..."
"You better be... you know you're more than a soldier, more than a brother, right?"
He nods, but doesn't speak, and you huff. "Say it, dummy. Tell me, "I am more than what I was made to be."... please, Specter."
With slow movements, Specter moves his head to be nuzzled into your neck, his nose between you and the pillow, lips on your throat. He kisses there once, before whispering, "I am more... than what I was made to be..."
"One more time, okay?"
"I am more than I was made to be."
"Good boy..." you kiss his forehead, and soon he's drifted off, feeling safe in your embrace.
You won't press him tomorrow, you think to yourself. For now, you just want to keep him safe. Just keep him with you.

It's not goodbye, not really (Echo x Reader)
Summary: Echo says goodbye to the reader.
Warnings: None really, just a lot of angsty emotion.
Author's note: this is a week late, but I wasn't sure how to do this. I was wildly unprepared for the pain of watching Echo staying with Rex. Well, the idea finally reached fruition in my head. Hope it doesn't hurt too much!
Word Count: 2.4 K
Tumblr media
You were working at Cid's that night. As you did most nights, since landing on that god forsaken planet. Cid had been kind enough to take you in, employ you and find you somewhere to stay.
It was in her bar that you first met her so-called 'mercenaries'. You immediately knew that the bounty on you would be nothing compared to the bounty on them.
It was also the first place you saw him. The stoic clone who seemed to delight in your attention and friendship. You bonded over your stories of being held captive. A certain kind of pain that only a certain kind of person could understand.
After you told him your story, your real story, he insisted on walking you home. He insisted on walking you home every time you saw him after that. He awoke in you a part of yourself you thought had been lost.
It was your usual shift at Cid's, two patrons as usual. The clones were absent and on a mission to Coruscant. A mission not assigned by Cid. She had been complaining about it from the moment you'd walked in.
Something felt off, and it wasn't just the simple absence of Echo. A presence you had grown so fond of. You felt a shift in your heart; it went from a burst of joy to a burst of pain, fear and regret. You couldn't tell what was causing it, but you knew it was nothing good.
You settled on sticking to your work and only responded to Cid when a direct response was required.
Eventually, after hours of scrubbing which had caused you to sweat disgracefully, the boys and Omega walked into the bar looking defeated. Well, all but one of them returned.
Where was Echo?
You must've let that slip from your lips because Hunter's sheepish gaze fell on you. His face contorted in pain. He quickly recovered, as if hiding some secret pain as he approached you cautiously. He knew how close you were to him. How much this was going to hurt you. "He, uh, he stayed with Rex on Coruscant." His voice was barely a whisper as he addressed you. The pain was so evident on his face. They'd lost a brother and you'd lost your dearest friend, your secret love.
You eyes fell on Omega, knowing she adored him so. Omega wiped a tear from her reddened eyes; her eyes were heavy, puffy and pained. Without thinking, you walked by Hunter and shared a nod. You bent down, grasping Omega and pulling her into a gentle hug. Her arms immediately made their way around your back. You realised you were probably the first to hug her. The brothers, as much as they loved her, were not so great at the physical affection.
As you held Omega gently, you couldn't help but cry, stunned and saddened by your sudden loss.
"He said he would be back," Omega whispered to you as she continued to hold onto you. You felt her fear of letting you go. She knew this would be hurting you as much as did her. In a way, she was grateful that somebody was finally feeling it the way she did.
"If Echo said he will back," you mumbled through your tears, "then he will be." You wanted to be strong for her but you didn't truly know if he ever would be back.
You'd heard him speak so fondly of Rex; deep down you'd always feared something like this would happen. His damn sense of right and wrong would take over. Not that you could blame him, not really. As you pulled back, you reached up and wiped the tear that fell from Omega's eye and rolled down her cheek. You caught it before it travelled too far. "Echo always keeps his word. We both know that much." You stood up and the weight of his absence seemed to push you onto the stool between Wrecker and Tech. You scratched nervously at your head.
And then it dawned on you. It was a sharp pain in your chest, as you realised.
"I never told him..." your voice was quiet and reserved. You'd hoped you'd reserved your comment only for yourself but Tech had heard it. Of course.
"Told him what?" He queried gently as he sat next to you.
"I never told him that I loved him." Tech's eyes softened as he gently put his hand on your shoulder. He almost flinched as you barked out a sarcastic, very nervous laugh. "It seems so silly now. I was so worried he'd hate me for it. So I just... never told him." Tech simply held onto your shoulder as the tears continued to fall from your eyes. For once, the brainiac had nothing to say that he thought would help. He certainly didn't know how to stop the tears streaming down your cheeks. "He did say he would comm you separately. I expected you to already know that he wasn't with us," he offered up, finally releasing your shoulder and reached for his drink.
"Y-yeah," Wrecker offered up from the left. He draped his arm around your shoulder and pulled you to his chest suddenly. He did try to be gentle. He couldn't help that he was perhaps a little too strong in the movement. A soft 'oof' escaped your lips as you curled into him softly. "something about, uhh, needing to explain it face to face. Whatever that means."
Face to face, you wondered. Your secure channel, he'd messaged you there before. As your face slackened, realisation hitting you, you reached suddenly for the comm attached to your belt.
It was flickering away; a private message was waiting for you.
How long had I missed this? How long ago had he contacted you?
"I - uh - I need to go." You said, jumping up from your seat and dashing out the door, the soft sound of Omega's voice trailing after you.
Just get to the shuttle, you almost chanted to yourself, just keep going and don't stop until you get there. You can listen to him there.
You dodged and swerved between bodies as you ran towards the dockyard. The cold bristled against your skin as you realised the sun was setting. You continued to dash between people. Slow bodies, fat bodies, thin bodies, fast bodies. It didn't matter what they were or what they were doing, you need to be faster and get there sooner.
You needed to hear this from him.
And soon.
Finally arriving in the shipyard, you were out of breath for more than one reason. First and foremost, you'd moved so fast and you certainly did not have the best stamina. You were a barmaid and occasional supply runner, not some kind of enhanced clone with a special skillset. And yet, there was another reason for your lack of oxygen. There was also this weight pressing against your chest. A weight so heavy that you thought you would pass out before hearing his beautiful voice again. If it weren't for the pressing desire to hear his voice, you certainly would have collapsed. You could already feel the tears returning as you clambered up into your shuttle, taking your seat in the cockpit. The ship was far smaller than the Marauder, but it was certainly faster. Spinning around in your chair, you loaded up the message.
"Hi." His message began so gently, as he appeared before you. He let your name fall from your lips with a soft smile. He seemed to look around him, at what you didn't know. You didn't even know where he was now. The deep rumbling of his voice made you smile softly and naturally. "I don't have long, I'm afraid. I know you will dislike me a little for what I am about to say to you," he rubbed at his neck as he spoke, "that thought alone makes me want to return to Ord Mantell."
Perhaps he was nervous about saying goodbye as you were to be hearing him explain his reasons for leaving you behind, you mused.
"I... I - argh - why is this so difficult to say to you?" He sighed softly, before continuing, a new strength in his voice, "knowing you has been the greatest pleasure of my life so far. I hope that I will see you again and I know you will probably dislike, even hate me for this, but this was the right thing to do. What the Empire is doing is wrong. I cannot stand idly by whilst my brothers are slaughtered by them." That final word, that identity, oozed from his lips, heavy and tortured. He knew you'd at least understand that much. Little did he know that you could never hate him, not now and not ever. No matter if he left you forever. You'd never hate him for it.
"Leaving you behind was one of the hardest parts of this decision. As hard as watching Omega's heart break before me," he continued on, "I - I wanted to tell you in person. But there was simply no time. Particularly when I never found the right moment to tell you... well..." he chuckled sardonically and shook his head, "it would be unfair to tell you that now. Particularly when I could not see if your reaction would be as beautiful as I would hope."
Tell me what Echo?!
"Rex said he's seen you around a couple of times, running missions for Cid when she asks. He didn't put it together until recently. Until I told him all about you. I keep seeing you around. I've seen you on Coruscant and on Naboo," he laughed softly at the memory, the sweetest of smiles on his lips. He shook his head once more before continuing, "I've seen you in my dreams too. But that isn't new." He lifted his head slightly and you felt his eyes bore into yours. You knew that wasn't possibly, not really. You knew this was a recorded message but you still felt that his action had been deliberate, particularly when he continued his thought. "Of course, I would see in you in the sweetest recesses of my mind. That is where you belong." His head suddenly whipped around, a ruckus occurring out of picture. He confirmed he would be along in a moment. You sighed, realising you must be coming to the end of his message. You kept hoping he would just say it. Say it, so you can say it back, even though he'd never hear the words fall from your lips. "I have to leave you for now. I'm sorry I couldn't say goodbye in person but it's not goodbye, not really. You will see me again, or maybe I'll see you first. Maybe I'll get lucky enough to see you out here, among the stars, somewhere in this galaxy that seems so dark now. Right," he sighed, "I"ll be seeing you, mesh'la," and that final word fell so naturally from his lips as he signs off. A combination of honeyed longing and sugared promise. His image disappears and your ship darkens round you.
You swore, in that moment, that if you saw him again that you would not let him go before you told him how much you loved him. The weight returned to your chest. He didn't know. He was out there, somewhere, and he just didn't know how you felt. You had so much regret.
What if you never saw him again, your mind wandered to the darkest corners of thought. It weighed so heavily on your chest, on your mind, on your heart.
For a moment, you glanced down at your tan trousers, noticing the growing darkened patch on your thigh. You reached your fingers out to fondle the wet fabric, and finally it became clear, as another tear fell from your cheek and onto the back of your hand.
When had you started crying so heavily, you couldn't help but wonder, raising the back of your hand to wipe at the cold tears as they continued to stream from your eyes.
After seconds, minutes, maybe even hours of being slumped in your chair, sitting in your solitude and simply allowing the tears to fall, you eventually sat forward with a new purpose. You wiped under your nose and wiped away the last of your tears from your eyes. You had to get out of her, off of Ord Mantell. Even if just for tonight. You couldn't be here, not without him. Not right now. It just didn't feel right.
With a heavy sigh, you whispered to yourself, enough.
Enough of the tears. Enough of the wallowing. Enough of the sadness.
"I will see him again," you affirmed aloud to no one in particular. Without another thought, your hands went to the controls. You lay in a flight path to the nearest moon and took off without so much as a second thought. Cleared for take off, you left. You left Ord Mantell, so you could nurse your heavy heart.
You left without even thinking about the heart broken kid you'd left behind in Cid's bar.
---------------------
Omega ran outside as she heard the familiar sound of your shuttle roaring to life in the distance.
I can’t lose you too, she thought desperately. The faint sound of Hunter calling out to her as he followed her towards the shipyard. She watched as your shuttle disappeared behind the scarlet setting sun. Hunter followed her until she stopped suddenly.
He knew she would need him, when she realised, you’d truly left her behind too. The tears began to fall from her eyes once more and Hunter sensed it. He placed a reassuring hand to her small shoulder.
“They,” her head bowed suddenly, “they didn’t even say goodbye.” Omega had whispered it so softly; the tears fell so strongly that she couldn’t choke back the sob that had escaped from her chest.
She felt Hunter squeeze her shoulder gently, as he knelt in front of her.
“Because it’s not goodbye, Omega,” he reached his other hand to her shoulder as he pulled her into a gentle hug. As he pulled back, his index finger reached to tilt her shin up, begging her to look at him. A reminder that he was still there. Even if the others weren’t. “It’s not goodbye, Omega.” He sighed, unconvinced by his own words. “We will see them both again.”

Based on your example I'm going to assume you mean "fix it" as in a happy fix-it AU and not "fix it" as in how I would make the movie better.
Doing a fix-it where the actual fix has to happen within the plot of AOTC is harder than it seems. TPM and ROTS are a lot easier because they're the beginning and end of the story so one small change can make a really large difference, but AOTC is the middle of the story so it's a little harder to make changes that really make a difference.
I dunno, I mean, they could've sent more Jedi off to fight Dooku when he tries to run from Geonosis which could've overwhelmed him enough to be defeated which would have garnered them an early prisoner of war AND kept the Death Star plans from Palpatine. Obi-Wan and Anakin also could've just brought in more of those clones who were on the transport with them which might've helped to distract Dooku long enough for him to be defeated. They mention that capturing/killing Dooku might even stop the entire war from happening because it removes the guy who's primarily going to be RUNNING IT from the Separatist side. Dooku's already revealed a small piece of information to Obi-Wan that they could attempt to pressure Dooku into revealing more about, potentially. The main problem with capturing Dooku here is that it's pretty easy for Palpatine to find a way to free him, he's clearly got plenty of resources he can try to reach out to on the Separatist side, he can just hire Cad Bane if he needs to or something like that.
Maybe Obi-Wan doesn't lose the fight against Jango on Kamino and captures Jango so they can interrogate him about everything HE knows which could potentially lead to not just the revelation of Dooku and the droid army and the planned war, but also maybe the trap that is the clones. It's possible that Dooku and Palpatine do what they can to remove Jango from play either by finding a way to assassinate him before he can reveal what he knows or freeing him (personally I feel like they'd just try to kill him, he's not useful enough to expend the effort to free him when it's easier to kill him). I imagine Jango would be willing to exchange information for protection from Dooku at the very least. Maybe. He's ruthless and entirely without morals if we go strictly by the movie version of him, but he doesn't seem like a complete idiot either and can probably recognize that Dooku isn't going to save him and is very likely to try to kill him now that he's been captured.
It's possible that you could try to go for an AU where, instead of following Jango, Obi-Wan stays on Kamino to investigate that, but then he's kind-of making the same mistake Anakin does in this film by abandoning the mission he's SUPPOSED to be on in favor of something he decides is more important. Obi-Wan's mission is to find and apprehend Padme's assassin and while it's pretty clear Jango was INVOLVED in the assassination attempt on Coruscant, it's also pretty clear that it goes deeper than that and THAT'S what Obi-Wan chooses to pursue. He makes his report about the clones to the Council and then leaves uncovering that particular mystery to them rather than continuing to investigate himself and letting Padme's killer go free. As far as Obi-Wan is aware in that moment, they can always come back to Kamino to investigate the situation with the clones, but they may never get another chance to figure out who is behind these attempts on Padme's life and who hired Jango in the first place. And by the time they DO figure that out, it's too late and the war has basically started and the Jedi no longer really have much time to investigate anything.
By AOTC, the "fix it" relies less on someone making a different choice and more on who the good guys can capture who will provide the most relevant information to prevent a war from starting and expose the true perpetrators. Dooku can reveal Palpatine in a way Jango cannot, but Jango is more likely to make a deal and reveal what he DOES know and he seems to know enough that it could really make a difference. At the very least I think Jango would be able to reveal that this war is a sham, that the same people are running both sides of the war, and that the clones are a trap, all of which should be able to do enough damage to the Sith plot to keep something like Order 66 from happening and ultimately still lead to Palpatine's exposure and defeat.

Since I'm rapidly running out of time to catch up we're doing EVEN MORE TBB TODAY, so off to The Clone Conspiracy
GOD CORUSCANT LOOKS. AMAZING ACTUALLY. SEEING 79S AGAIN ALL GLOSSED UP, GODDAMN. Love when the future is Neon.
Slip and Cade ;A; I'm already preemptively sad knowing what's going to happen to them. Cade talking about destroying Kamino, their home... I'm of course thinking back to the trooper that reported that Kamino had fallen to Rampart, voice hesitant as he reports the destruction of his own birth place. Slip says later he was on board when it happened. I wonder if that was him.
God though, sending a message to Rampart to give him "the chance to tell the Senate the truth before I did it myself." Cade, Cade, Cade, that is an insanely stupid move WHY did you do that and not just tell the senate directly? I know it's the urge to follow orders and chain of command but oh god of course Rampart has him killed.
Listen the first time I watched this I was SO scared for a hot second that it was Crosshair taking those shots, the last time we saw him he had killed Tawni Ames and the rapid shooting Cade and then shooting the blaster out of Slip's hand got me CONCERNED. Only when he started missing constantly did I go 'okay yeah this can't be him'
Still they really do let you think that, with how little we see Crosshair this season, it wasn't out of line to think he was there with new armor.
Can't believe "Cataclysmic Storm" is what they went with. Yeah it was such a big storm on the planet known for storms that it destroyed every single city on the planet simultaneously, very tragic.
"Shifting to a military of citizens swearing loyalty fundamentally goes against the principles of this body." I'm sorry I can't get over the fact that like, I get why the troopers don't want to retire (this is all they've ever known, they don't know how else to function, they have no other support) and the bill is objectively meant to push them out of service to essentially be abandoned but this is still an insane argument. We can't shift away from our slave army to a military of volunteers it goes against the Principles of This Body. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?
Riyo coming in with the actual 'hey what if we take the secret third option of treating them like people?'
I hate Rampart being so blandly pleasant, playing like he's soooo reasonable and understanding when we know he doesn't give a SHIT about the clones.
"If anyone were to dig further into what truly happened to Kamino" which I am happily discussing in a public hallway.
The scene in the bar HURTS because like, Riyo is trying but she's still locked into not treating the clones like people who should have options. She's trying to soften the being forced out plan, but they're still being forced out and thrown into a situation they were never trained for (because they were never supposed to be people) and they're pushing back against it because it takes away their choices in their own futures. There's just no option on the table that lets clones make their own individual choice whether to stay in the military or retire, and they always expected to be dead before they were too old to fight.
I want every clone to be given all the love and support in the world, all of them no exceptions.
Still the little nod at the end when they agree to work with her, my heart <3 Riyo really is trying her best she's just limited by both the Empire and the plot restrictions of how much they're allowed to criticize the Republics use of the clones in the first place and not just the Imperial treatment of them.
Riyo has been given the worlds worst and most alarming info dump and everything is happening at once, congrats your assassination risk just went up like 500%
God Slip calling Rex to try and get him out ;_; god this poor boy
Oh no not full pensions for millions of clones, god forbid we take care of the millions of clones that we literally purchased as cannon fodder.
"If I had been present, maybe more could have been saved" yeah bro your presence totally would have stopped the storm in this story you're building that makes total sense.
Bail pointing out the blatant insanity of blaming it on, of all things, a STORM.
I'm sorry I get stuck on that how was that the lie they went with how is Rampart SO stupid?
Godddd the tension of this scene with Riyo and Slip is so good, the building musical tension, the way it peaks a few times and nothing happens to keep you extremely on your toes and then Slip gets taken out just. DAMN they're good at this.
The way Riyo's guard gets shot and he KEEPS GOING.
I just realized that last time we saw Rex he disappeared into the fog, and when he comes back in he appears out of the fog. Turns out that whole time he was just in the fog.
HATE THE SCENE WITH THE BELIEVER CLONE. EVERY PART OF IT IS CONCERNING AS HELL. Including the part where he electrocutes himself to death and we get to see flashes of his fucking SKULL.

Tell me about Jazz and Tau’s relationship?
How did they fall for each other?
I've been meaning to answer this the other day but got occupied with things. but rest assure I haven't forgotten! @magicallulu7 :> I am happy to receive asks about Jazz and Tau. (I think I'm the only one have this rarepair within this swtor community asdfghjkl)
As always, everything I talked about are heavy canon divergent and I don't really follow a lot of ingame canon version.
Ah yes, friends to lovers trope. I live for this.
Jazz and Tau met when they were teenagers at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant a few months before Sacking event took place. Jazz was a new arrival joining the Order under circumstances as the result of head trauma. The first few days she stayed at the Temple's medbay, she felt like a complete stranger due to her disability and being half sith pureblood as she was left out by fellow young students.
Ven Zallow and Master Oteg noticed this and decided to introduce Jazz to someone who can be able to communicate with her and understand her--which led to Tau and Jazz meeting for the first time. Jazz's mood lifted up the second Tau sign to her and spoke slowly for her. The only reason the Jedi Masters choose this was because Tau had experience with deafness and sign languages due to her father being deaf aswell.
They became best friends (alongside with Blizz, T7-01 and a couple of other Jedi).... and unaware the Force Bond was developing between the two. Sacking of Coruscant hasn't soured their friendship as the two helped each other and recover from the trauma of their own. Jazz felt bad about what happened to Tau when she defended her from the Sith while trying to escape, but Tau reassured her it wasn't her fault.
Several years later, their friendship grew stronger despite Tau completed her trials first and left to go into undercover mission while Jazz remained on Odessan to pursue her Trials, though there was feelings for the other started to linger but neither said anything because they believed one doesn't feel the same way.
But, they were both so wrong because the two of them reunited for Jedi Knight story arc (hello chosen ones), since that those same feelings resurfaced. Neither of them knew what to do. Tau cares deeply for Jazz and does everything for her, including fixing her hearing implants, whereas Jazz was mentally screaming about her this because she has a huuuuge lesbian crush on Tau since they started to hang out.
It's doable they began to fall in love for the other around the time when Tau had to rescue Jazz from Darth Angral at the end of chapter 1.

i was going through your bunnywan tag (because i Love bunnywan) and now i'm just thinking about someone being nasty and telling bunnywan that anakin doesn't /really/ love him. he's just a novelty. bunnywan is only here because he happened to be the first bunny anakin met, not because there's anything about bunnywan himself that's special. anakin would've done the same if it'd been another bunny in bunnywan's place. and obviously it's all bullshit but like. it makes bunnywan a little insecure.
🥺 oh 🥺
on one hand I think this bunnywan is pretty brashly overconfident when it comes to anakin and anakin giving him what he wants (there’s only been a few times he’s denied him and that’s usually because he’s off the planet and CAN’T come back to coruscant just to sleep with him, stars, obi-wan, stop asking, you’re only making it WORSE)
but at the same time I think needling and hurtful words could get to him if he sits alone and thinks about them for a really long time and he has ample opportunities to do so because anakin is always so busy….
I can see him pouncing on anakin when he gets back from one trip but he’s not trying to kiss him he’s just scenting him to try and see if he can smell any other bunnies or other people on anakin
And anakin is like?? Other bunnies??? Another one?? How could anyone handle two?
which is obviously one of the worst things he could say but bunnywan hides his hurt with little bunny snarls and teeth and sleeps in the bathtub again because if anakin’s not gonna appreciate the bunny he has and tell him he loves him when that’s OBVIOUSLY what he needs to hear, then he’s not gonna get him at all!! How’s that!!!
but really everything works out because obi-wan isn’t like other bunnies and anakin just has to remind him that—after all, no other bunny would be so brave and adventurous as to decide to come with him OR steal his crown OR annoy him until he fell in love that’s just an obi-wan thing. All the other bunnies ran away when they saw anakin. Obi-wan stayed and anakin loves him for it
