“I have a date tomorrow guys.”

Everyone’s head instantly lifts up from their phones at this sudden announcement, collectively drawing their attention at you. You weren’t expecting all of them to gasp and swap such looks of genuine confusion. It’s starting to make you think maybe this situation was a lot more serious than you’ve bargained it out to be.

You couldn’t fathom it either honestly, the realization of you going out with someone probably won’t settle in until you’re physically on the date. Based on their initial responses though, you might regret everything you’re about to say, but it’s far too late to retract any of your statements now.

“No way.. with who??” Danielle is the first out of everyone to ask.

Taehyung chimes in as well, “Yeah, who’s the lucky person? They’ve gotta be something seriously special to be talking to you.”

Well, you suppose you could put it that way.

You already have a preconceived notion of what they’re going to think of this “idea”. Mentally preparing yourself to receive a flood of questions and critique from your close friends.

“Actually… I rented him. For the week.”

Now they’re all looking at you like you’ve officially lost it. The room got scarily quiet, no one wanted to be the first to speak. You should’ve anticipated on their reactions being like this, it isn’t everyday someone just openly admits to buying a partner online. Nowadays there’s a lucrative market for just about anything, when you stumbled upon an ad for this service called ‘RentABoyfriend.com’ you didn’t think much of it. You laughed the concept off at first, thinking how lonely people must be to buy someone else’s time.

But the ads kept popping up, they wouldn’t stop showing in almost every YouTube video you were watching— even one of your favorite YouTubers promoted them before! So one day you finally decided to check this website out, you wanted to see what the hype’s all about so you signed up just for shits and giggles. You weren’t expecting to actually be somewhat interested in trying this thing out, but after going through a couple different profiles and reading hundreds of positive reviews you were practically sold.

“You rented out a boyfriend..? Seriously ___? Being in your twenties it’s kind of embarrassing to say you’ve never done those things, but you thought what better way to try it out than renting a full-on experience that can give you just that? Well minus the kissing part, but you can make it work.

Your rental boyfriend texted you the location to meet at, it was near a train station so you both could see each other out in a public open space. The outfit you wore was fairly simple, a black mini skirt with warm tights underneath and a cropped turtleneck sweater. You accessorized the look with some dainty jewelry, a thin scarf, and knee high boots to pull everything together. It wasn’t something you usually wore but you had certain clothes you saved for a special occasion like this.

Upon your arrival, you notice him standing near a vending machine and waves over at you with the biggest smile plastered on his face. You awkwardly wave back, giving a soft smile as you slowly walk up to him. He looks even better in person, you don’t even feel adequate enough to be in such a gorgeous man’s presence. No wonder he’s so popular on the site, he’s practically unreal.

“Hi, you must be ___. It’s so nice to finally meet you, might I add you look really beautiful today, I think you’re making my heart race just by looking at you. Happy Valentine’s Day!” Changbin introduces himself, buttering you up with some sweet compliments before handing you the most insane bouquet of roses you’ve ever seen.

You take the flowers and almost stumble backwards from how heavy they were, “Wow, thank you!” Changbin prevents you from falling, quickly coming up behind you to get your balance back.

“Careful honey, can’t have you injured on our first date!” He voices with concern, “I hope you love the idea I came up with, I’ve only been to this place once before but I’m sure it’s still as fun as I remember it, let’s go!” Eagerly grabbing your hand to begin the journey, he turns around again to examine your body language.

“You seem a little tense babe? Do you need a massage?” He asks in a concerned tone again, this is all really beginning to freak you out. You know this is what you signed up for but this was all starting to feel a bit too personal, all the nicknames and sweet talk he’s giving is just something you aren’t used to.

“Uh, no! It’s o-okay.” You shook your head, denying anything suspicious going on. Truth be told you were barely able to contain your composure right now.

Changbin keeps on insisting, “The massage is included in the package so you don’t have to worry about getting charged extra.”

“N-no it’s okay, really. I’m just nervous that’s all, sorry I just don’t meet up with guys…” you shyly admit, finding it hard to look him in the eye.

He nods in understanding, “No need to be nervous with me sweetheart. I’m here to make you feel as comfortable as possible.” The smile he flashes at you instantly makes you warm on the inside, he seems like a genuine, caring person. You think things might go well for you after all.

The rest of the night was full of only good vibes and laughter by the end of it all. Changbin took you to an adult arcade that had old video games like Pac-Man, Super Mario, and Space Invaders, the other side was a bar where people could sit, drink, and socialize. He bought all your drinks that night, let you use up most of his tokens and overall had the most fun you could’ve ever had with someone. He was so easygoing but also knew when to act super caring and would be all lovey dovey with you. He was gentle, nurturing, and could have conversations about anything. You loved that he’d randomly drop some interesting fact you never knew about, or talked about a certain niche topic that he’d go on multiple rants over. It didn’t feel like you were renting someone out to date you, it felt natural— like you’ve known him for longer than a couple hours. The next day you wake up to Changbin blowing your phone up this morning. You had over 26 messages from him, which was pretty excessive in your humble opinion. The first thing he said was good morning then he goes on to express how fun yesterday was and he can’t wait to do it again. He even sent a couple mirror selfies of him at the gym, ‘conceited much?’ You thought. But then again, if you were Seo Changbin you’d probably be full of yourself too.

For today’s date you wore a pretty red sundress that made your skin glow in the sunlight. It’ll definitely get him to compliment you even more— which you secretly love when he does. Changbin calls you before he heads out to the date, letting you know how excited he is to see you again. You couldn’t stop smiling like an idiot on the train as you made your way to the destination, thinking about what he’s planned for you two next. This time you’ll be meeting up at a park but you still have no clue what you’re doing.

Changbin texts you where exactly he is in the park, it was pretty huge so it took you a while to get to him. As you get closer you see him sitting on a large blanket by the lake, on top of it were a bunch of different foods and snacks scattered all around that came out of a huge picnic basket. You were speed walking at this point trying to get to him. His arms opened out for a hug and you lean right into him, what you didn’t expect was for him to suddenly stand up and lift you in his arms to swing around you like a doll.

“Put me down I’m scared of heights!” You squeal out in fear of being too high up in the air. Maybe you really should’ve taken the bio on his profile more seriously when he mentioned certain things.

Finally putting you down after minutes go by of you protesting, Changbin sits you back onto the blanket. He brought an assortment of breads, cheese, fruits, lemonade that he made himself and a couple seltzers. You’ve never seen anyone put such time and effort into a date before, even being here with him is like living in a daydream. He was definitely succeeding in making you feel comfortable, which is something you never thought was possible with men. He actually took his time getting to know you and didn’t sound arrogant whenever he talked about himself, Changbin was so different than other guys who’ve tried hitting on you in the past. He was actually respectful, intelligent, and could easily carry a conversation without long, awkward pauses.

He was literally everything you’re looking for in a guy. But you’ll be seeing him for this week only then it’s bye bye forever. That revelation makes you a little upset, but you try pushing those thoughts in the back of your mind. It’s irrelevant and unnecessary to think about. Yet you can’t help but wonder about certain things though, wanting to know more about his job and what it’s like on a daily basis for him.

“Can I ask you something? I need you to answer it honestly.” You say out of nowhere, hoping that didn’t come out as weird as you thought.

Changbin nods, “of course, shoot.”

“How many clients do you usually get?”

This question definitely catches him off guard, he’s never really been asked this before and he’s debating on if he should as it might be a breach of privacy.

“I don’t think I can answer that, sorry.” He responds in the nicest way possible, but deep down he wants to know why you’d want to know how many other people he sees a day.

You were going to push him a bit more to try and get an answer but you decide to let it go and just enjoy the rest of the picnic. You didn’t want to bring the mood down with your odd questions and/or end up making him feel so uncomfortable that he won’t want to see you anymore. It was definitely something you shouldn’t have asked but you were curious to know anyway. Overall besides that small incident, you had another wonderful time with Changbin and couldn’t wait for tomorrow to come any faster.

Changbin had a foolproof way of getting you to blush like a giddy high school teen whenever he texted you. He’d always refer to you as ‘pretty girl’ or ‘princess’ which gave you insane amount of butterflies. You loved how clingy he could get and would double text when you don’t reply fast enough, always needing constant attention from you which you never minded giving.

He texted you at around three in the afternoon, proposing his next plan for today’s date.

‘Let’s go out for drinks tonight, it’s all on me ;)’

You liked his message, replying that you’ll be there and put a series of hearts at the end. Speaking of hearts, yours is fluttering at high altitudes from the way you can’t stop thinking about your “boyfriend” Changbin. This has been better than anything you could’ve expected, you never want this week to come to an end. It’s only been three days but you’ve begun to grow feelings for him, they weren’t too strong just yet but they were most definitely there. You couldn’t let that halt you from having a good time tonight, you’ll have to accept it soon enough he’s not your actual boyfriend. He’s doing this because you paid him to, if it wasn’t for your money he wouldn’t be here right now.

‘This relationship is purely transactional’ you unfortunately keep reminding yourself of the reality you’re in. Psyching yourself out of this sudden somber mood that’s consuming you, distracting your pessimism by raiding your closet for some cute clothes to wear tonight’s date. After what seemed like hours of tearing your entire room apart, you decide to settle on this sparkly black mini tube dress, pairing it with a leather jacket and more platform shoes because you’re obsessed with feeling tall. Once it’s 7 PM you head out to the bar you’re seeing Changbin at, he was already waiting for you inside the place. Eyes instantly lighting up when he sees you coming towards him, just like he always does he motions for a hug, pulling you in tightly like he hasn’t seen you in years.

His hugs felt so cozy, like sitting in front of the fireplace on a crisp, snowy winter’s evening. You never wanted to escape the warmth of his arms, it was one of those forms of physical touch that felt so overly personal to you. The thought of him hugging someone the same way he hugs you slightly enrages something in your spirit but again, it isn’t your place to get genuinely upset over him doing his job. You’re not entitled to him exclusively, but you feel like if you keep this up feelings will only continue to develop. This wasn’t something you considered when going into this and now you feel like you’ve just made a huge mistake.

“You okay babe?” Changbin notices you acting a bit strange, choosing not to pursue it after telling him you’re fine. He knows something’s wrong but doesn’t want to mess up the flow of the date, instead he orders a drink for the both of you and switches on to a lighter subject. “Let’s go shopping tomorrow at that new centre that just opened last week. I need to buy some new AirPods, I accidentally lost one of them in a taxi..”

“Sure,” you nod at his suggestion, in desperate need of some new clothes anyway. “Sorry about your AirPods, that sucks!”

He takes a sip of his bubbly drink that’s now on the table, “Eh, it’s okay this is probably the fourth time this has happened so far.” This has pretty much become a regular occurrence for him by now.

As the date progresses, things continue getting better. You’re both laughing, engaging in much deeper conversation than ever before. You definitely had more than enough alcohol in your system by now, feeling congested and claustrophobic as more people came into the bar. Changbin takes note of your discomfort and asks if you want to get some fresh air outside, you wasted absolutely no time to agree.

While you two were outside continuing your chat about some wild conspiracy he read about online, Changbin’s attention was soon drawn to a different building nearby. Gazing up in confusion at his sudden outburst of excitement, you wonder where he could be leading you next.

“Noraebang!” He shouts loud enough anyone miles away could’ve heard that, he’s now grabbing your hand to frantically drag you along with him.

You were never one to carry a tune but Changbin was actually very good at karaoke and singing in general, he had such a lovely voice. You could seriously listen to him sing all night— which you basically did since you kept begging for an encore until it hit 4 am. That’s when you both decided to finally call it a night, you wanted to pay for the Uber since he’s paid for all the drinks and every other expenses for today. You felt bad because you were the one renting him to be your boyfriend yet he’s constantly shelling out money left and right. He still insisted on paying and ultimately won the whole debacle, making you swallow your pride and get into the Uber with him. Changbin’s definitely not just someone you’re going to forget about after this week is over. You dread the day this all comes to an end, wishing there was a way to relive these moments again and again.

“I’m a little under the weather today, sorry I can’t make it Binnie.” Your voice is hoarse from coughing and unbearable throat pain. You’ve already consumed half a bag of cough drops, throat lozenges, and random cold medicine you’ve found in your cabinets.

He sounds mildly disappointed, but springs back up with a new proposal, “I can come over and bring some soup if you’d like!”

You appreciate his gesture but still refuse, you know he’s only saying all this because he has to, not because he wants to. “N-no you don’t have to, I’m sure you can go see other clients today. One less person to worry about right?”

The call went silent for a minute, he wasn’t quite sure how to respond to such a deprecating comment.

“I don’t want to see other clients, I want to see you ___.” He sighs, unwilling to give up so easily, “I’ll be at your place soon, m’kay?” He hangs up before you could even respond or say no again.

You had no choice but to wait for Changbin to show up now. Before you got sick, the last two dates you went on were debatably the best so far. You had gone out shopping together, accidentally wearing almost the same kind of outfit. Changbin was wearing a white graphic tee with blue baggy jeans and you wore something practically identical. The two of you looked like a real, official couple and people would stare as you walked hand in hand, it really did seem like the perfect relationship on the outside.

You got even closer when he came over the following day, resulting in you two cuddling while watching movies and baking cookies. He’s expressed that he’s never been to another client’s home before but it wasn’t “technically” against any rules. The more you kept hanging out together, the harder it was coming to terms with the fact you’re actually falling for Changbin. He made every experience with you more exciting than the last, which he did exactly that night. When the cookies were done you fed a piece to him, making little airplane sounds as you do it, he eagerly takes a bite of the chewy treat and compliments both your efforts.

“These taste way better than I thought, oh my god they literally melt in your mouth. Try it!” He takes another cookie from the tray and feeds it to you this time.

There was something so overly domestic about that moment you couldn’t shake the feelings of wanting to kiss him right then and there. But you can’t. If you did such a thing you’d never be allowed to see him again, plus you don’t want to be known as that one creepy client who just couldn’t keep their hands to themselves. As you were cuddling on the couch though, things may have taken a turn for the better… or worse?

Changbin would “yawn” at the movie and subtly wrap his arm around you, he’d subconsciously pull you in closer and it didn’t make it any better that you were under the same blanket. You weren’t complaining at any of this though, you were pretty much in heaven. It took everything in you not to look up and stare, gluing your eyes to the movie that was displayed on the TV. But as the night progressed you were practically snuggling up with him like he was your real boyfriend. The way he’d run his fingers gently down your back, soothing you in a way that could lull you asleep. His touch was the most relaxing thing ever, you were so calm with him and loved how he brought a side of you that’s never been shown. After this encounter you can no longer deny the way you feel— you are officially falling deeply in love your rental boyfriend, Seo Changbin.

The sound of your doorbell ringing alarms you of a new visitor, who was none other than your “boyfriend” waiting patiently outside the door for you. You feel and look like death itself, coming downstairs to answer the door still in your PJ’s and hair a disheveled mess. Every five seconds was interrupted with you coughing your lungs out, barely able to speak above a whisper. Changbin looks thrilled as ever to see you, even when you clearly don’t look your best he’s still coming up to hug you tightly. His hugs are always blocking off your airways from the way his muscles squeeze you, it’s even worse when you’re sick— practically gasping for air.

“Sorry babyy, I just missed you so much. I couldn’t stop thinking about you all day and soon as you said you’re sick I dropped everything to go make you this soup. It’s a specialty I make whenever my friends are sick, the perfect remedy to cure my princess.” He goes into your kitchen to heat up the soup in your microwave, making you wait patiently on the couch as you’re wrapped up in multiple blankets.

Your body feels like it’s -2 degrees, you were freezing. The crazy thing is your thermostat was set to 80 degrees, it was definitely you that was the problem. He propped your feet up on the table, rested a tray in your lap and set the bowl of soup on top. Brushing a couple strands of hair out your face he looks at you intently, examining your symptoms as if he’s a doctor.

“It’ll be okay soon love, I’m here to nurse you back to health again. Can’t see my pretty baby sick like this, makes me all sad.” He pouts, giving you a soft head pat like you’re a delicate kitten.

He takes a spoonful of the hot soup, slightly blowing on it before telling you to open up so you can eat. You don’t know what’s gotten into you but you feel like he’s gone too far with all this. It’s not fair for you to continue on if it’s just become torture now. He’s practically dangling in your face that you’ll never have a partner as perfect as him in your life.

“I- I can’t do this anymore Changbin..” you say lowly, refusing to eat the soup he made.

“What do you mean? I’m just feeding you soup, it’s my duty as your boyfriend to-”

“This isn’t real… none of it is. I’m stupid for even doing this but I was lonely.. I’m sorry but I’d prefer something that isn’t temporary.” You cut him off to express your pent up frustrations, ready to be let down and rejected by him as gently as possible.

“Then let’s make it real,” he proposes without any hesitation, “honestly I stopped faking it around our third date, it was all me after that. I never said anything because well… this is my job and I’ve never fallen for a client before so this is still all very new to me..”

You’d be screaming right now if you weren’t sick, instead you’re internally freaking out at this confession, it feels like your hearts doing cartwheels and somersaults.

“Seriously?” Eyes widening as you look at him, suddenly your body heat rises and you know it’s not because of the soup or the layers of blankets that’s covering you.

He nods, “I thought it was kinda obvious when we kissed yesterday..”

Oh yeah… you forgot that did happen. You thought it was another fever dream you might’ve just made up in your head. You shared your first kiss with someone you deemed so special and important to you, someone you never would’ve guessed could come into your life and shift the entirety of your world like magic. There was no one else in existence you wanted more than Changbin.

“Doesn’t that mean you’ll have to quit your job? I don’t want to be the reason you stop making such good income.. I’ll feel so bad.” You knew deep down you didn’t feel that badly about him quitting to date you instead. It was just the thought of him leaving something he’s been doing for years behind all for some girl he’s known for simply a week.

He shrugs at your comment, “I’ll be just fine, I was planning on finding a new job soon anyway. It gets kinda old after a while, I felt like I was on autopilot most of the time. You were able to get me to open up and show my true self, I could never thank you enough for that ___.” Changbin couldn’t resist the urge to plant a kiss to your forehead.

After everything that’s been said and done. What you’ve come to understand is that love is learned, a development that takes time to grow and blossom into something extraordinary. Just like learning a new language or a musical instrument, we learn love from society and cultures we’re raised in, it’s a beautiful thing once we know how to cherish it. Your newfound romance with Changbin is something you’ll learn to cherish forever and ever.

BANG CHAN would be the first to wake up. He's been practicing how to pronounce 'nobo borsho' properly all night. You're fast asleep, excited at the prospect of New Years coming the next day. As soon as it's midnight, he pokes the side of your stomach. "Shubho... shubho nabo borsho babe," he says with the biggest smile. (Ugh. This man.)

LEE MINHO is watching you pick out the best, most fresh hilsa for nabo borsho. You are not settling for any less. He watches you talk in rapid Bengali with a smile on his face. When you're finally home, he's already put the leftover rice in water and is standing in front of you with an eager smile, aprons and spatula in hand. (Bonus: He remembers to but kashundi! Get yourself a man that buys you kashundi!)

SEO CHANGBIN is helping the rest of the Bengali cultural committee where you live haul the numerous boxes of prasad from the truck to the distribution center. He flashes you a big smile, enamored by you. Living with you has caused him to pick up enough Bengali to slightly understand what everyone is saying. Regardless of that though, he is all the thakuma's favorite. (Because why not?)

HWANG HYUNJIN watches you get ready. He knows you're not good at putting on a sari, and so, after numerous Youtube tutorials, he pre-pleats your sari and keeps it ready for you. When you shoo him out of your room to go socialize, he helps your younger cousins in making a rangoli, thinking of you fondly. (No wonder it suspiciously looks like a rose with your initials.)

He even picked out your outfit and jewelry, and it couldn't be more perfect. He gets you food and water as soon as you're off the stage and smothers you with kisses. (He would probably offer to sing a duet with you too, and who knows, you might just take him up on that offer.)

Hi. Do you have any tips on how to grow your sims platforms? I keep tryig and posting and I hardly get any interactions or followers. Idk what to do. I wish bigger creators would help out smaller ones more by reposting the content so it gets more views. Its so hard starting out

Hey! Yeah, I have a few tips I can share! This is gonna be long so beware!

I keep seeing this sentiment reiterated about larger creators. I get it, but I think everyone's missing one thing in regards to it: you already have access to the same audience they have. Just like you they grew their platform. Maybe it was a stroke of luck from a viral post or something, but they still had to start somewhere. What it takes is getting your content to hit the algorithm. That's all! So even if a larger creator never looks your way, you can still grow and curate an audience without their help. Small accounts are what make up big accounts after all.

You NEED good SEO. I'll talk about TikTok specifically. If you want a boost in visibility then get on Tik Tok. Properly tagging your content is the key to working the algorithm in your favor. I think people believe the more tags the better. No. The more accurately tagged, the better. The hashtags "TS4", "The Sims", and "The Sims 4" are always trending. You should always use those tags. The rest depends on the kind of content you're posting. I'll use my most viral video as an example. My Stormveil Chateau post on Tik Tok got 141.6K views, 22.3K likes. Since it was for a maxis match build I used the following tags: #thesims4 #sims4 #ts4 #simstok #ts4cc #fyp #sim #sims4tok #sims4maxismatch #sims4build #sims4builds #ts4build #ts4gameplay. Most of the tags are related to TS4 and TS4 builds. I wouldn't include anything about CAS, mods, etc. It wouldn't fit the post. Don't flood other tags in hopes of getting more views. It'll just bury your post under a bunch of random content. People have to be able to find your content.

Visually appealing content performs better, period. Y'all give the aesthetic girls hell but they know a thing or two about working the algorithm. I'll give them that! People like things that look nice. Now, that's not to say you need to purge all the color or character from your game. You don't have to follow a certain style trend. Curate your own personal style. Do what you do to the best of your ability. Whatever you post, just make sure it's good quality. Focus on sharpness, clarity, etc. If you wanna curate a particular look then go for it! But most importantly, having clear clean images or videos is the main thing you need. And you don't need a beast of a PC to do it. Sharpen your images and videos before you upload them using Capcut or something. Make sure the lighting is nice. Make sure it's a good resolution for the platform you're posting on. A quick tip: Adding dof to lower quality images makes it look better! See how the left photo looks more clear than the right? A little bit of depth of field helps so the pictures don't fall flat.

Pick a primary social to promote your secondary ones. Usually your primary social may be the one where you have your largest audience. For me, it was Tik Tok. On there I'd promote my Patreon, YouTube, and Tumblr. You just released some cc? Post something about it on Tik Tok, let your audience know they can find it on your Tumblr. Use one to promote the others.

Slow organic growth is STILL growth. Growing your audience is one beast, but maintaining it is a whole other thing. As someone who has gotten shout outs from larger creators, that initial boost ALWAYS dies down. And socials like YouTube will not hesitate to tell you "Hey boo, your shit's failing now. You kinda suck." Been there, felt that. Boosts from other creators and giveaways don't have much longevity. Most times that audience will leave. On occasion you may get a few who stick around, but most won't. That's why it's important to build your audience organically. Yes, it may take longer but they won't just dip out after a few weeks. Things take time to grow. Things take time to curate. Understand you are BUILDING something. It takes time!

And lastly- if you just really want the numbers and it doesn't matter what content you post, then here's what you do: Sell. Still use good SEO, still try to have high quality photos, but give people something to consume. People like to see what they can get. Post some builds, cc, whatever. If you're not a cc creator, then do cc finds, mod reviews, tutorials, build recommendations, lookbooks. People love a good cc haul. They wanna see what they can get. And that's not to say people that make this sort of content don't care about their content. I know they do and it's a lot of work! It still takes time and effort to curate. It's just HOT right now! Especially maxis match content. It ruffles less feathers because a wide array of the Sims community has a vicious vendetta against alpha cc. (Yeah ion know. They will "uncanny valley" and "just play IMVU' you to death. If I say what I think it is.. My people know.) But if you really just want thousands of followers, then there's a way to do it.

With all that said, I know how annoying it is to constantly hear to not focus on numbers but don't. CREATE FOR CREATION'S SAKE. Do it only because you enjoy it. Growth for me has come as a byproduct of me doing whatever the hell I wanted. I make Lykaia because I want to make Lykaia. I love that people love it but it is for me. Not to be an influencer, or to inspire, or to receive praise and accolades. I love everything about the process. Hell, I love the stress that comes with it! I have four scenes to film and I'm still not done editing the ones I have filmed. The episode is supposed to air on MONDAY. I fucking love working down to wire. It's stressful as hell but it feels good! If it's out there, the audience will soon follow. Always. Take your time. Be grateful for where you're at every step of the way. Enjoy the process! And remember that all it takes is one post to take off.

Being one of the first Stray Kids, Bella was one of the closest with Chan. Since he was an older trainee who had been in the company for a long time, she really looked up to him.

When he stayed days at a time in his studio, Bella would always be seen entering the room with food, presumably for the elder boy. She was also a good help to him when he produced new songs, singing, writing lyrics and what have you, she had Chan's back and he was thankful that she was always there.

While he mostly seen as a father figure to most Stays, there have been several moments when the fandom ships them together from the several interactions they have with each other.

Bella cares for the mentality and health of their leader while Chan cares for her safety and well being. A wholesome ship, and we love it.

When the first met, Bella did not like him as she assumed he would be arrogant and pretentious because of how handsome he looked, but she soon realized that he was very kind and caring to everyone around him, it didn't take long for Bella to befriend the older boy.

When they met, they instantly clicked. Despite Bella being older than Han, the two got along very well. Han is known to be very touchy with Bella, from hugs to cheek kisses, you name it. Sometimes it may be a bit too much for Bella but Han at least knew when to stop.

They are very well known as pranksters within the group as well as in the company. Because of their notorious prankster nature, they were nearly punished by JYP himself, however Bang Chan were able to stand up for them and prevent that from happening.

Bella is Han's safe place. When he's stressed, sad, angry of just doesn't feel like doing anything, she's the first person he goes to. They'll spend the day easting, laughing, making jokes, playing games and even dress up. The two act like best friends, but sometimes fans wonder if there is something going on behind the scenes.

Bella is mostly known to be cold regarding her appearance, despite her being a cheeky, funny and cuddly girl. This is why fans admire this ship extremely because of the polar opposites that show: Felix who is a literal sunshine and Bella whose smiles are beautiful but sometimes rare.

On their off days, they love to bake. With Felix who is an amazing baker and Bella, who practically lives in the kitchen, the members tend to gather in the living room whenever they're in the kitchen whipping up something delicious. Even Chan who is normally holed up in his studio.

Felix admires Bella as she is one of the few older female companions aside from sister and mother. He is known to be very cuddly towards her and definitely won't hesitate to do. (he has done it before, live too)

It's not a surprise when someone spots the two goofing around in public. If it does happen, Seungmin is most probably carrying several bags or a Day6 album or a stuffed animal, all the while Bella was trailing behind him with a solemn look on her face. No doubt it he forced her to buy it for him.

Seungmin often teased her, like Changbin, for her height. Despite being younger, he was taller than her. Bella did not take it seriously as she was used it, but would often show that she is irritated.

Despite the teasing, the two actually have a caring friendship for one another. Even if he doesn't show it, Seungmin will do anything for Bella. She in turn cares for him and makes sure he is healthy. They also have recordings of each other singing along to different songs. When Stay heard this, it was immediately dubbed as one of the best moments of SeungElla.

When they met, Bella's motherly side was awakened. The urge to take care of him was strong, considering how he was so young at that time. Fans believe that was the reason why I.N got used to her affection.

I.N is sometimes seen buying food for Bella whenever she is called on to mentor the younger trainees in the company. Despite being the maknae of the group, he treats Bella like she is younger and takes care of her. When it is that time of the month and her cramps are bad, expect to see I.N the first one out of that door to go to buy snacks for her.

The maknae has several times shown the fans his caring side towards his Noona. When Soyeon met her, she found her adorable. Who wouldn't? The leader approached her first, making Bella very flustered and scared, and they talked whenever the camera was not on them. By the end of the show, they had each other's number vowing to call whenever they were free.

From then on, fans saw from their socials that they hang out every so often and were happy that the two idols were getting along well and not being influenced by the toxic 4TH Gen Netizens.

Well, that was what she thought. That was why she was surprised when she met Yunjin on M!Countdown when both Stray Kids and the newly formed IVE were present. At that time, she was so busy she could keep up with the affairs of other groups, so she never knew that Yunjin re-debuted in a new group with another member from IZ*ONE, Wonyoung.

After the show, she ran into Yujin and they talked. Because she had kre-debuted, Bella gave her some advice on how to handle herself in the industry, cause it was not easy. However, when she was about to leave, Seungmin and Han showed up out of nowhere and revealed that Bella was a WIZ*ONE. They ran away before Bella could kill them and Yujin got a good laugh out of that. From that day onwards, the two were friends and always kept in touch.

The two girls met, weirdly enough, at a gym where JYP and HYBE idols sometimes worked out at when the company gyms were too full or when they wanted to just be away. Bella was with Changbin at that time, as usual, and Kazuha was by herself, if you don't count the bodyguards.

Bella had seen her struggling a bit with some of the machines and had gone to help her. Safe to say, Kazuha was flabbergasted. She was so shy she could barely speak. Luckily Bella understood her pain and started a conversation. From then on, the two were talk smoothly and Kazuha was able to get Bella's number. She was so happy she went to brag to her members, who told Kai, who told Bella.

The two met, in real life, after two months of talking at a restaurant. Stray Kids were going there for a Friday night dinner to celebrate the success of their album. Coincidentally, LE SSERAFIM was also going to the same restaurant, but for a casual hangout.

Bella went to Ni-ki, knowing he was a foreigner, and began to speak Japanese with him. The male idol was so excited hearing someone speaking his home language. The two talked for a while and were able to exchange contacts before Bella had to leave. After that, the two always talked with one another and met up whenever they could.

I let out a deep sigh as I laid back onto my bed, pulling the covers back up and over my body as I had been previously before, sitting on FaceTime with my best friend Yeonjun, ranting to him about all of my problems.

He’s such a good friend.

I’m ranting about my boyfriend Changbin, and I love him, and no I’m not cheating on him with Yeonjun. I get shivers just at the thought of me doing anything like that.

He’s just… he overworks himself and whenever he comes home, he greets me most times, but he’s always on his phone whenever he’s around me… and it feels like he’s losing interest in me.

I know he loves me, believe me. I think he’s just depressed, and no matter how much I try to get him to talk to me he just won’t open up.

It’s worrying me, Because usually he’s a mushy clingy baby whenever he’s around me.

“You know how it is, Y/N. He’s an idol, and he’s having a comeback soon, he’s probably worn out because he works for a douchebag, JYP is tough, I’m so glad I didn’t get in there.”

He sighed, explaining a possible answer to me, knowing that he was right, making my heart ache in worry and pain for Changbin.

“Well, do you have any idea of what I could do to get him to pay the slightest bit of attention to me Mr. Choi Bighit idol duDe.”

I mocked him, causing him to roll his eyes sassily before a soft smile teased at both of our lips, shaking his head before he seriously began to think of something that could work.

“Well… you know after a long day you usually get on YouTube and watch random shit. And I saw this prank that might work,”

He spoke, causing me to immediately roll my eyes and shake my head in response to the idea. I already know what he was gonna say. One of those mean stupid ass couple pranks.

“No Jun. Those are mean and I’m trying to get him to pay attention to me and not leave me.”

“But they work! He won’t leave you. Come on, if you're THAT desperate then at least just listen to what I have to suggest.”

He rebutted, causing a deep exasperated sigh to escape my lips as I shifted in my spot and thought about it for a few moments.

This could work… I’ve also watched these videos on YouTube and most of the time they work.

“Alright whatever loser just tell me what it is, but that doesn’t mean I’m gonna do it for sure… I just wanna know.”

“SO. There was this one I saw where she waited until they both got in bed at night, and when he came back from the bathroom she was scrolling through her exes Instagram, sighing dramatically and falsely of course. And her boyfriend had already noticed this and was already pretty mad, but then she said I miss you out loud, and it was… this whole big thing. And eventually they made up by the end of the video.”

It was almost as if Choi Yeonjun was proud of himself for bringing up such a dumb ass idea, leaning back into his chair with his arms crossed, his face smug as I sat there, my eyebrows scrunched together as I was so highly unamused.

“How in the world do you find that entertaining, I mean… Why would you intentionally hurt your partner?” I questioned.

“Y/N, it’s not real. It’s completely fake. If you do it, it makes him realize maybe I’m not treating her well enough and I need to step up my game.”

Okay… even though it’s mean… I have to admit that the psychology does seem pretty convincing…

I sat there and thought for a few moments, subconsciously biting on the inside of my cheek as I debated my options, looking at Yeonjun’s face, a deep sigh escaping my lips as I shook my head.

I can’t believe I’m gonna do this.

“Fine. But if my relationship falls between the cracks I’m blaming you Choi Yeonjun. I will set fire to twt about you know WHAT.”

“I’m hanging up now you little shit.”

His eyes narrowed as he rolled them soon after, grabbing his phone as he uncrossed his arms, waving at the camera before hanging up the phone, leaving me to sit there in silence with my own thoughts.

Yeonjun should be the last person I take advice from…but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to try.

***TIME SKIP***

I’m going to quite literally explode into a million pieces.

It was currently 10:30 pm and there was no sign of Changbin anywhere. Not even a Text yet, and he always texts me when he’s on his way home so he can grab dinner beforehand and asks me what I want…

All of a sudden my tummy began to rumble at the mental cue, a sigh escaping from my lips as I looked out the living room window, down at the city in front of me.

This prank has been weighing on my mind all day, and I even went and bought a new shirt in the men’s department and had it on since so maybe he’d think it was someone else’s….

That sounded less cruel in my head but whatever.

Without even another thought, the sound of the keypad filled my ears, my eyes widening as I perked up and made my way over to the front door as he had walked inside, my heart beginning to race.

I missed him so much.

“Hi baby, how was workies?”

I asked softly, as he turned around to face me, a soft but tired smile taking over his lips as he ruffled my hair and walked past me and headed into the kitchen, bag of food in his hands.

Well at least we’ll get to eat together.

I thought to myself as I followed him into the kitchen as if I were a lost puppy, a slight pout on my face as he didn’t even notice my new shirt, sitting down at the bar, waiting for him to sit across from me…. But he never did.

Instead he set the bag down in front of me and turned around to head upstairs to the bedroom, causing me to take ahold of his hand, my heart practically broken into a million pieces at this point.

“Baby, sit down and eat with me! You had a long day, you must be hungry.” I pleaded.

“I’m not hungry Y/N. I ate with the boys. I’m just exhausted, okay? I just need to sleep. I’ll be upstairs. I'm gonna shower.”

He said, his tone so nonchalant it felt as if my heart was going to burst any second. Letting go of his hand, I nodded and let my eyes trail after him until he disappeared upstairs into the bedroom.

I guess it's prank time.

After putting the food in the fridge to be eaten later, I headed on back upstairs after him. Once I was in the bedroom I heard the shower running, sitting down at my vanity and beginning to unwind for the day.

After taking off my makeup and putting on my moisturizer and night cream, I quickly put on my pajamas and my glasses and crawl under the covers, my back facing the bathroom door.

Eventually he had finished his shower, and I was scrolling through my exes page, about to quite literally barf in my mouth because I cannot even stand the thought of this mother fucker.

Hearing the door click open, I act as if I don’t hear it, a sigh escaping my lips as per cue as I continued on, my heart breaking even more, not because of my ex, but because I felt stupid… having to do this to even get his attention.

Just notice me god damn it.

I then felt him lay next to me, the click of his phone charger and the sound of a sigh slipping past his lips as I felt the tears begin to prickle at the brinks of my eyes, the lump in my throat so big.

Hearing him settle in and finally stop moving is when I completely lost it….

I can’t do this stupid prank.

I started sobbing. Turning off my phone and practically throwing it on the nightstand, burying my face in the pillow as I felt my body practically melting as my heart had finally shattered.

How could he not even acknowledge me in the slightest? Am I really not important to him anymore?

I heard the light click on as I tried to steady my breaths as I cried into the pillow but I failed miserably. A few moments later I felt two arms wrap around me, and pull me to sit up straight…

I knew it was Changbin.

Not wanting to face him, I quickly took my hands and covered my eyes with them as I continued on with my cries… but it didn’t take him long to take hold of them and force me to look at him… I finally broke down.

“I tried to do Yeonjun’s stupid fucking prank to get your attention but I just couldn’t… I just…” I tried to catch my breath from crying so much and trying to talk…

“I just want you to love me again. I want to have even an ounce of your attention. Do you even love me…”

I finally managed to get out, feeling my breathing begin to calm down as the crying became less uncontrollable, his eyes looking in mine as they were filled with worry, his eyebrows scrunched together making him look all the more handsome.

I love him so much…

“Y/n what in the world are you talking about?”

He questioned, causing a huff to escape my lips, shaking my head and looking down at my lap.

“I just… don’t feel like you love me anymore. And I was trying to get your attention today… by wearing a stupid shirt I bought at the men’s section, and I was scrolling through my exes Instagram… to get your attention, per Yeonjun’s recommendation…. But I’ve consistently failed.”

I took a deep breath and wrapped my arms around him, and buried my head into his shoulder, my tear stained cheeks soaking his black shirt.

I heard him let out a sigh as he pulled me onto his lap, feeling his hand on the back of my head as he pet my hair softly, calming me down almost instantly.

He always knew how.

“Baby. I’ve just been busy. And I… seriously just haven’t had any energy lately… with the comeback coming soon they have been pushing us to our limits. But I guess I let it get the best of me. I didn’t know you felt like that.”

I looked up at him to see the pout on his lips and the tear run down his cheeks as I sniffled myself and kissed his cheek.

“I just miss you…”

“I know my sweet baby. But… I’ve been neglecting you, and I know that. You don’t deserve to be treated like that. Regardless of the schedule tomorrow… I’m going to take a break. I’ll take tomorrow off and spend it with you.”

I shook my head in response to his words, feeling his thumbs wipe my tears from my eyes.

“No, binnie, I don’t wanna be selfish. That’s your job and I shouldn’t get in-“

He cut me off by pushing his lips onto mine, humming softly before he pulled away and looked into my eyes, taking ahold of my hands and interlacing our fingers.

“I’m doing it because I want to. Because I love you.”

He whispered softly and I nodded in response, my heart nearly skipping a beat.

“Good girl.”

I practically turned into jelly at those words, thinking for a few moments before taking his shoulders into my hands and pushing his back to the bed, reaching back over and clicking off the lamp my heart nearly racing out of my chest.

“Y/N what are you…”

“Let me take care of you.”

The horrible emails in a YouTuber's inbox

I have a public contact email on my YouTube channels, which of course means it gets scraped by absolute hordes of spambots and mailing lists for crappy mobile games.

That's okay though, that's what filters are for, and I'm not much bothered by it.

Sometimes, though, you also get Legitimate Business Emails from real, actual companies who want to do real business with you. They market various services, multi-channel networks (no fucking thanks), SEO optimization and all the rest of the industries that perch on the side of influencer marketing and Content Creation™.

Most of these emails aren't worth talking about, they're just business. They're usually couched in excessively cheerful "Hello! My name is Content Influencer Specialist Assistant Manager, and we here at Influencer Service Provider absolutely love the content on your [[INSERT CHANNEL NAME HERE]] channel!"-language, pretending that they've watched even thirty seconds of anything you've made. It's annoying, but inoffensive, it's just how this kind of business is done.

Today, though. Today, my friends, I received a motherfucking EMAIL. A promotion for a service which seems to be motivated entirely by spite and contempt both for my work and for my audience as a whole.

There are two things I want to especially call your attention to here. First is the absolute 24 karat solid gold INGOT of a throwaway line, "boost channel stats and income without wasting your time on new content creation."

If I spent a whole week workshopping ideas, I don't think I could write a sentence that more completely communicates contempt both for my work and the ethics of my job, but also a single-minded drive for money as the only metric of any real value.

The other thing I want to draw your attention to is EIGHT FUCKING STREAMS?? EIGHT??? Four plus four goddamn motherfucking CONCURRENT streams, running 24/7 on my channel, constantly regurgitating my videos for no other reason except to game YouTube's recommendation algorithm and make the line go up?

Further down the email, they helpfully link a helpful and informative article they've written, which contains further magnificent wisdom:

I have stared into the Abyss too long, and this email is the Abyss staring back into me. This is an omen, a prophecy of the monster I could become.

If I ever become someone who runs eight continuous streams of re-runs, and who regularly shuts down and restarts these eight streams of continuous re-runs just to force them to show back up at the top of the YouTube recommendations, I beg of you, take me out behind the wood shed and put me out of my misery.

I summoned all of my powers of professionalism and politeness, and drafted a response:

Presumably, this is just someone whose job is entirely metrics optimization doing a very, very poor job of writing an email to a person who actually gives a shit about their job from an artistic point of view. Presumably it's just bad marketing copy.

But it thoroughly derailed my mind from getting any real work done today, so I am taking revenge by writing a blog about it, and hopefully you have... well, "enjoyed" might be the wrong word; hopefully you have been mildly fascinated by this peek into the garbage that populates the inboxes of YouTubers.

I'm serious about that wood shed thing, by the way. Like, whack! Just a quick, decisive strike to the back of the head, make it clean.

Shownu, Jung Taekwoon, Go Eunsung's Anatole | THE SINGLE 🔗

We met Shownu, Jung Taekwoon, and Go Eunsung, who played the fatally attractive Anatole in the musical . This time, the three Anatole became each other’s ‘love enemies’.

Shownu: This is a song-through musical inspired by the 70 pages of Volume 2, Chapter 5 of Tolstoy's War and Peace. It premiered in Korea in 2021, and this is its re-run.

Taekwoon: The fact that it is a full-length musical with almost no dialogue and only singing may be of interest, but is an immersive performance in which there is no distinction between the stage and the audience, and the audience's participation is so high that they are part of the work. It's even more special in that respect.

Jung Taekwoon also described the character Anatol as ‘stupid’ on Seo In-guk’s YouTube channel.

Taekwoon: In the play, Anatole is a character who promises love to another woman named Natasha, leaving her spouse behind. Hedonistic narcissist. She could be described as a ‘golden lover,’ but she seems to be a person who just sees things. The reason she doesn't keep taking off her wedding ring is because she doesn't take it seriously. In my view, I don't think Anatole made any definitions of right and wrong, regardless of social norms or opinions. When I was researching the character of Anatole, I thought of a person around me. A person who makes you click your tongue. (Laughs)

Inner tee is Coperni, jacket is Bonbom, pants are Dsquared, shoes are Balenciaga.

Since each person's interpretation of Anatole was different, I think the way he expressed it would have been slightly different. How did you apply and express that interpretation to your body?

Taekwoon: I tried to make a difference in Natasha's attitude towards people other than Natasha. Don’t we also put on a slightly different appearance than usual in front of the people we want to appeal to? In reality, he was an ordinary man, but when dealing with Natasha, he tried to show his appeal through exaggerated speech and a sloppy gait.

Eunsung: The background of the musical is Russia, which is famous for ballet, and I thought it would be good if people would think of a ballerino when they see Anatole's gait and posture. The appearance of lowering the shoulder blades and lifting the chest tightly, as if wearing a corset. From the first appearance, rather than showing a light appearance as if it will fly away, it has an elegant and restrained appearance that is easy to fall in love with, and gradually reveals its foundation as it progresses. I thought that would add tension to the play and paradoxically make the character more attractive.

I think the singing style was different from usual and it was also different from how I prepared for the performance.

Shownu: Of course, it’s my first time, so there are difficulties and pressure. But what I needed was not how difficult you thought it was. If you think it's difficult, you can't start anything. My personality itself is like that. So I didn't even think about it being difficult. I sang it the way I felt without trying to change my singing style. I had a hectic day asking questions, learning, and practicing with my seniors and brothers. I'm still in a daze. I don't think I've become comfortable enough to recognize that it's difficult. (Laughs)

What did you think after your first performance?

Shownu: Are you hungry? Ah, I meant it to be funny, but it wasn't very funny. sorry.

Taekwoon: I’m not saying that for nothing. Shownu usually takes really good care of himself. To show off my good side, I don't eat much or eat snacks. After you run around and play passionately on stage, only then do you feel at ease and feel hungry. Among the outstanding musical actors, there is not a single one who lives like a hedonist. Most live like practitioners or athletes, training to develop their skills to the highest level their bodies will allow. Due to the nature of the job, self-management is very important, and Shownu's qualities are already visible.

Shownu: Eunsung is a mood maker and, above all, he has great drive. Eunsung is always the one who gathers us all at once and makes reservations for places. He is handsome and sexy to men. Taekwoon is really gentle, warm and delicate. He really cares about the people around him. But it's sexy.

Eunsung: Shownu is really attractive in appearance. She doesn't talk much and only says what to say. He has a sweet personality, but he also has a good body, and when the opposite sex sees him, he seems to burst out laughing just by standing still.

Shownu: Hyung, it’s all a meticulous strategy. (Laughs)

Eunsung: But actually, that’s the worst. They disarm people and take no responsibility.

I would like to ask one last question. For the audience coming to see , what are the three actors' favorite parts?

Taekwoon: ‘Balaga’. It's the hardest, and I feel the most alive.

뮤지컬 <그레이트 코멧>의 아나톨로 함께하고 있다. 뮤지컬 <그레이트 코멧>은 어떤 작품인지 간단한 소개 부탁한다.

셔누: 톨스토이의 <전쟁과 평화> 중 제2권 5장에 해당하는 70페이지 분량에서 영감을 얻어 만들어진 성스루(sung-through) 뮤지컬이다. 국내에서는 2021년에 첫선을 보였고 이번이 재연이다.

택운: 대사가 거의 없이 오직 노래로만 진행되는 성스루 뮤지컬이라는 점도 흥미를 끌 수 있겠지만 <그레이트 코멧>은 무대와 객석의 구분이 없고, 관객이 작품의 일부일 정도로 관객의 참여도가 높은 이머시브공연이라는 점에서 더욱 특별하다.

정택운은 서인국의 유튜브 채널에서 아나톨이라는 인물을 ‘병맛’으로 표현하기도 했다.

택운: 극중 아나톨은 배우자를 두고 나타샤라는 다른 여성에게 사랑을 약속하는 인물이다. 쾌락적인 나르시스트. ‘금사빠’라고 표현할 수도 있겠지만 그냥 보이는 게 다인 사람인 것 같다. 결혼반지를 계속 빼지 않는 이유도 그걸 심각하게 여기지 않기 때문이다. 내가 보는 아나톨은 사회적 규범이나 시선을 개의치 않고 옳고 그름에 대한 어떠한 정의도 내리지 않았다고 생각한다. 아나톨 캐릭터를 연구할 때 내 주변의 어떤 인물을 떠올렸다. 혀를 끌끌 차게 만드는 인간.(웃음)

이너 티는 코페르니, 재킷은 본봄, 팬츠는 디스퀘어드, 슈즈는 발렌시아가.

각자 해석한 아나톨의 면면이 다르다 보니 표현 방식에서도 조금씩 달랐을 것 같다. 그 해석을 몸에 어떻게 적용하고 표현했나?

택운: 나타샤와 나타샤가 아닌 다른 사람을 대하는 태도에 차이를 두려 했다. 우리도 어필하고 싶은 대상 앞에서 평소와는 조금 다른 모습을 장착하지 않나. 사실은 별볼일 없는 남자지만 나타샤를 대할 때만큼은 과장된 말투나 멀끔한 걸음걸이로 어필하는 모습을 보여주려 했다. 은성 뮤지컬의 배경이 발레로 유명한 러시아이기도 하고, 사람들이 아나톨의 걸음걸이와 자세를 보며 발레리노를 떠올렸으면 좋겠다고 생각했다. 견갑골을 내리고 가슴을 딱 들어 코르셋을 찬 것처럼 곧추선 모습. 첫 등장부터 불면 날아갈 것처럼 가벼운 모습을 보여주기보다, 반할 만한 우아하고 절도 있는 형상에서 뒤로 갈수록 조금씩 밑천이 드러나도록. 그게 극에도 긴장감을 주고 역설적으로 캐릭터를 더욱 매력적으로 만들 거라고 생각했다.

톱, 팬츠, 스카프는 모두 아크네 스튜디오.

평소와는 창법도 다르고 퍼포먼스를 준비하던 것과도 달랐을 것 같은데.

셔누: 물론 처음이라 어려움과 부담감이 있다. 그런데 나에게 필요한 건 그걸 얼마나 어렵게 생각하느냐가 아니었다. 어렵게 생각하면 아무것도 시작하지 못한다. 내 성격 자체가 그렇다. 그래서 어렵다는 생각 자체를 안 해버렸다. 창법을 애써 바꾸지 않고 내 느낌대로 불렀다. 선배와 형들에게 질문하고 배우고 연습하며 숨가쁜 날을 보냈다. 아직 얼떨떨하다. 어렵다고 인지할 정도로 충분히 편안해지지 못한 것 같다.(웃음)

처음 무대를 마치고 무슨 생각을 했나?

셔누: 배고프다? 아, 웃기려고 한 말인데 별로 안 웃겼다. 미안하다.

극중에선 셋 모두 동일 인물을 연기하지만 오늘 화보에선 한 여자를 동시에 사랑하는 세 남자라는 가정으로 콘셉트를 잡았다. 서로가 서로의 연적이라면, 가장 견제하는 상 대의 매력은 뭐라고 생각하나?

셔누: 은성이 형은 분위기 메이커고 무엇보다 추진력이 좋다. 우리를 한꺼번에 모으고 어딘가 장소를 예약하는 것도 늘 은성이 형이다. 잘생겼고 남자가 봐도 섹시하다. 택운이 형은 정말 젠틀하고 따뜻하고 섬세하다. 주변 사람들을 정말 잘 챙긴다. 그런데 섹시하다.

은성: 셔누는 외모부터가 정말 매력적이다. 말이 많지도 않고 딱 할 말만 한다. 성격은 서글서글한데 또 몸은 좋고, 이성이 봤을 때 가만 있어도 저절로 웃음이 흘러나올 것 같다.

셔누: 형, 그거 전부 치밀한 전��이다.(웃음)

은성: 그런데 사실 그게 제일 나쁘다. 사람을 무장 해제시켜놓고 책임을 안 진다.

마지막으로 묻고 싶다. <그레이트 코멧>을 보러 올 관객들을 위해 세 배우가 가장 좋아하는 파트를 하나씩 꼽자면?

택운: ‘발라가(Balaga)’. 제일 힘들고, 제일 살아 있음을 느낀다. 셔누 나도 ‘발라가’. 가장 격정적이라 뜨겁다. 그 곡을 할 때 정말 배우와 관객이 하나가 돼 모두가 땀으로 뒤범벅된다.

은성: 물론 ‘발라가’다. 발라가야말로 <그레이트 코멧>의 정체성과 같은 곡이라고 감히 말할 수 있다. 거짓말 조금 보태면 발라가가 끝나고 분장실에 들어가 땀으로 젖은 신발을 두 손으로 짠 적도 있다.(웃음) 그만큼 재미있으니까 얼른 예매를 서두르시라. 꼭 경험해보았으면 한다.

RECENT SEO & MARKETING NEWS FOR ECOMMERCE, March 2024

Welcome to my roundup of SEO and marketing news and useful resources for ecommerce businesses, March edition. There is a lot going on with Google, and some really strong marketing pieces this time around, so let's get right to it.

SEO: GOOGLE & OTHER SEARCH ENGINES

Google launched both a core algorithm update and spam updates on March 5, with the spam update ending on the 20th. Core updates now include the Helpful Content algorithm. In early observations, Etsy and Reddit both picked up visibility in the UK.

The Helpful Content algorithm updates late last year destroyed a lot of sites’ Google traffic. Avoid the things they had in common. You can read the full study here.

Ecommerce sites were some of the biggest losers in Google visibility in 2023, with Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Etsy, Target and Best Buy in the top 10 of sites whose Google appearances slipped.

New to Google SEO? They’ve revamped their SEO starter guide for people like you. And if you are more advanced and want to learn how to optimize your website product pages, this is a good overview.

Reminder that if you want to rank on Google for a search term, you need to look at what is already ranking, and make decisions based on that content. [video and transcript] This works for most search engines, not just Google.

Yes, Google crawls “high quality” content more often. I used to refer to this as Google thinking the page is “interesting”, so I guess I will need to change my wording...

While Google sends the most traffic to websites, people spend a lot more of their online time elsewhere. Market where people are, not just where your stats say they came from.

Sadly, Google has stopped providing caches of website pages in its search results. While you can still see the caches of some pages by using the Google search Cache:[page link] as in cache:https://cindylouwho-2.tumblr.com that will eventually stop working as well. Bing still provides caches, but unfortunately both it and the Wayback Machine do not crawl often enough to give really recent results most of the time.

SOCIAL MEDIA - All Aspects, By Site

General

A US study of social media use found that the most popular site was YouTube, with 83% of adults using it. Two-thirds of American adults use Facebook, while TikTok is up to ⅓ of the US population.

Because they do change periodically, here are the latest image and video sizes recommended for the top social media platforms. [infographic]

Bluesky is now open to everyone - it was previously invite-only.

Facebook (includes relevant general news from Meta)

Meta has introduced several changes to its Ad options, applying to Facebook and Instagram.

Meta had a great 4th quarter in 2023, with revenue, users, and earnings per share up. “Fast-growing upstarts Temu and Shein, which originated in China, have been pouring money into ads on Facebook and Instagram. Li said on Thursday that revenue from China-based advertisers accounted for 10% of sales for the year and 5 percentage points of growth.”

Instagram is still beta testing longer Reels for some users.

If your account is a brand account, you can now run ads on Instagram with coupon codes right in them. (Some Facebook users can already do this.)

Among other recent changes on LinkedIn, the algorithm is now looking to boost important content longer than just the first day or two after publication.

Pinterest has its own stats package, called Pinterest Analytics, but only for “Business” accounts. They show how many people clicked on the outgoing links, how many people saw your pin on their screen, and much more. Here’s everything you need to know.

Reddit successfully launched on the stock market this past week, but questions remain about how this will change the site.

Google is paying Reddit to scrape its content through the API instead of from the web.

Snapchat

Snap was a little later than most tech companies doing layoffs recently, waiting until February 5 to let 10% off staff go.

Threads

Threads is so new that the algorithm is bound to change a lot in the next year, but for right now, here is how it works.

TikTok

There is an overwhelming amount of info out there on the US attempt to either ban TikTok or force its sale, and much of it is incomplete, so I will let you Google to your heart’s content if you want to learn more. If you are relying on TikTok to drive sales, this would be a good time to make sure you diversify your promotional strategy.

You can now track trending terms on TikTok through the Creator Search Insights section. “Creator Search Insights will highlight frequently searched topics, which creators can organize by category (for example, tourism, sports, science) or tailor to their content type with the “For You” option. Additionally, creators can filter for “content gap” topics, which are highly searched but have relatively few videos on TikTok covering them.“

TikTok may be testing a photo app, which would obviously compete with Instagram.

Twitter

What? Twitter may have lied about its Super Bowl ad performance? I’m so not shocked.

Tumblr

Tumblr will be selling data access to AI companies.

YouTube

This is a pretty decent article on YouTube SEO.

(CONTENT) MARKETING (includes blogging, emails, and strategies)

Small and micro-businesses need an email list. An email list is:

portable (unlike most social media followers or marketplace buyers)

is available to almost everyone, as we all need at least one email address if we are online

less susceptible to the whims of algorithms (unlike SEO, marketplaces, social etc.)

I keep seeing people argue that no one opens emails, but the chart in the article above is proof that is still wrong. (My blog email list averages close to a 70% open rate, depending on the topic and the time I send it. My jewellery email list - which I hardly ever send to - still has an over 30% open rate. My click rates are well above the industry averages, usually 30 to 40% of all recipients for the blog list. These are much better numbers than social, and astronomically better than my clickthrough rate on Google and other search engines.)

According to a US study, Generation Z is skewing the traditional marketing funnel. “Per Archrival’s data, 77 per cent of Gen Zs and 79 per cent of millennials in the US are actively seeking style inspiration at least monthly, with almost half of those looking for style inspiration on social media. When asked where they learn about new brands, products and experiences, video reigns supreme: YouTube is the most popular platform with Gen Zs, followed by TikTok, then Instagram.”

Boys Planet: Unaired, unaddressed auditions, reviewed

Hey there. So, these are the auditions that we didn’t get to see more than maybe 1 second of, if at all. I’ll let you know what I think of them, and/or give you info to aid you if/when you watch the videos yourself on Youtube. When I give an age, it will be in the international system; when I say “currently ranked,” I mean, as of the end of Episode 1/ beginning of Episode 2. Here we go!

Attention

The performers:

Seo Won is 22 years old and currently ranked 18.

Jang Ji Ho is 18 and currently ranked 72.

Both are in the nugu group NINE.i, which debuted in March 2022. Winnie, the Thai idol who performed in Kokobop with Nice, is also in NINE.i.

Seo Won -- that’s his full name -- is a dancer, per kprofiles dot com, and is apparently really into makeup, so there’s that. Jiho is a rapper and is the younger brother of Go_U from Blitzers, if you follow them. If you’re wondering, Winnie is listed as a rapper. So none of them is known as a vocalist.

The Song:

Attention by New Jeans, which was the song of the summer for me in 2022. Fucking love this song. I actually am not wild about most New Jeans songs but I could listen to this every day and never get sick of it.

My take:

I love the song, and I respect what they were going for, but this performance didn’t work out. I’m evaluating them as much for the practice video as for the actual Star Level Test (SLT), because they did much better in the practice video, and we know they may have been completely exhausted during the filming of the SLT.

One big problem in the official SLT is that they transposed it to a new key and then the boys couldn’t find the note to start with. It was all wavery and wonky. I don’t even know what note they should have started with, but not that note. I’m not even sure whose fault it is. Considering, however, that neither of them has a vocalist position in their group, I actually think they have vocal potential.

It’s especially a bummer because I think they could have killed it if they had just started on that right note, and it looks like they were maybe doing something interesting musically. I actually really like how it sounds in the practice video -- it’s kind of cool.

As for the dancing, Seo Won was noticeably better than Jiho. He does that body bend to “Attentionnnnnnnn” much better. His angles are sharper, he has more power and looks more comfortable on stage.

Side note: I am super over what I guess I’ll call “Blood Sweat and Tears” style choreography in Kpop. A great example of what I’m talking about is the choreo for “Sugar Rush Ride” by TXT. Love the song, love the guys, hate most of the choreo. It’s all that shoving your arm forward, touching your body, touching each other, putting your hands over each other’s eyes, making it seem like you’re using magic to move each other’s bodies, all that shit. It was perfect in “Blood Sweat and Tears” and now I wish it would cease. More importantly, whatever they were trying to do didn’t fit the spirit of the song. It reminds me of when Lovelyz did a weird “sexy” version of Achoo for Queendom. It was a big mistake. You have to honor the lyrics of a song -- if you do a different version, there has to be a reason.

That’s not exactly their fault, though. I bet they prepared this themselves, without any help from an agency or choreographer, and while it interfered with my enjoyment of the performance, I’m not going to ding them too hard for it.

The judges said:

Seo Won 3 stars ⭐⭐⭐

Jang Ji Ho 2 stars ⭐⭐

It seems fair to me, actually.

It’s weird because this was presented in the show’s editing as if it were terrible -- we in the audience saw Jiho getting his 2 stars, not Seo Won getting his 3 stars. MNET!!! :: shakes fist::

Should you watch it?

I’d watch the practice video instead, in which they both sing so much better. If you watch it, Seo Won is in the purple and Jiho is in the gray.

Bloom Bloom

The performers:

Cha Woong Ki age 20, currently ranked 10. He used to be in T01 under the name Woongi, where he held the position of “vocalist.”

Oh Sung Min age 21, currently ranked 17. He used to be in T01 under the name Jerome, wher he held the position of “vocalist/visual”.

They’re both signed under WakeOne, just like the team that did ATEEZ’s The Real, and the Global Team with Min, Hikaru, and Anthonny, who did Glitch Mode. They’re actually the same age as or older than all the members of The Real, but are dressed to look cuter and younger. I don’t know why. Sung Min in particular looks much better when he’s styled to look his age.

I mean.

Quick note on T01:

This group was the result of a survival show called World Klass and was originally known as TOO. They had some rough times and were treated really poorly by their agency, there was an agency dispute, they changed their name, etc. You just get a bad vibe from the whole thing. But TOO had potential. I think their cover of TVXQ’s Rising Sun for Road to Kingdom might be one of their finest moments. If you want to look for our two trainees, watch the bottom left corner where the singer and lyrics are shown. Sung Min’s stage name Jerome looks like this in Korean: 제롬 and Woonggi looks like this in Korean : 웅기

Oh, and Pentagon went on Road to Kingdom, as well, which means that Hui has likely met both Woong Ki and Sung Min before, if only briefly.

The Song:

Aww, Bloom Bloom pow! It’s a cute song and I’ve always liked it. But like most songs by The Boyz, it’s a bit too high pitched for most boys to sing comfortably. Spoiler alert, I guess.

My take:

Quick reminder: Sung Min is in the suit, Woonggi is in the hat.

They really throw themselves into it, bless ‘em, but at times I see fear in their eyes. For the first minute or so, Woonggi actually has better vocals, and then as he tires it gets worse and worse until it’s really sad. Sung Min, to his credit, executes a difficult vocal run at about 1:09 in. As for the dancing, it’s not bad, but doesn’t seem like the world’s most difficult choreo, and Woonggi gets really out of breath even though it’s only 90 seconds long.

The judges said:

Cha Woong Ki 1 star ⭐

Oh Sung Min 2 stars ⭐⭐

Again, it seems fair to me, but pretty depressing for debuted idols who already won a reality show.

Should you watch it?

I’d say no. It made me sad. The practice video is moderately better, if you have the urge -- not nearly as cracky. If you watch the practice video, Woonggi is in pink.

Freak

The performers:

Han Seo Bin is ranked 70th.

Park Ji Hoo is ranked 47th. He’s the one who told Hui “I just got here!” in episode 1. He looks different here than he did there -- I guess he did his hair differently.

Both are only 16 years old, and both are signed to H1GHR MUSIC, which is known for being focused more on rap. It’s home to Code Kunst, who basically never makes a bad song. So it makes sense that they’d rap for their audition. And it makes even more sense that JiHoo wouldn’t want to sing to Hui.

The Song:

I hadn’t been familiar with this song before, and it didn’t exactly catch my fancy. Sorry, Zico fans! I guess I’m more of a Loco fan.

My take:

They’re not bad rappers, gotta say. I don’t know Korean nearly well enough to tell how good their pronunciation is, but their tone sounds ok to me. They also really threw themselves into their performance, acting out the lyrics, really going for it.

The choreography isn’t necessarily super difficult but they make big movements and their balance is good. Seo Bin gives it more in the dance department, lifting up his legs much higher, making bigger reaches.

The few lines they sing don’t sound great, but they’re here to rap.

The judges said:

Han Seo Bin 4 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐!

Park Ji Hoo 4 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐!

I think I would have gone more 2-3 stars -- I’m not convinced they can sing on key, or do more difficult choreo. Maybe 2 for JiHoo and 3 for SeoBin.

Should you watch it?

Considering that the judges gave this 4 stars, maybe you should!

Gambler

The performer:

Lee Ye Dam is 20 years old and is currently ranked 45. He went on the show LOUD, in which JYP and Psy both judged and picked their favorite trainees… and both of them picked him! He ended up picking Psy, and then getting eliminated in Round 7, so he did pretty well.

He’s signed with LM entertainment, which was founded to manage former Wanna One members Yoon Jisung and Kang Daniel -- they seem interested in soloists, not boy groups, so it makes sense they’d want an all ‘rounder and that he’d audition on his own.

The Song:

This is the song that made me a Monbebe and was my most-played song of 2021, so…. yeah. Think it’s fair to say I love this song. If you’re not familiar with it, watch the dance practice for it -- it’s much better than live versions because one member got injured and didn’t perform live and blah blah just trust me.

My take:

Jesus H Christ. YeDam goes out there and raps like Joohoney and then sings and dances like Shownu, all by himself. This isn’t an easy passage to rap, and this isn’t easy choreo to pull off, but he does it. Yeah, he started to run out of air here and there, he needs to work on his breath control, some notes were too high for him, but this was tough and he did amazing. Listen to the Space Council roaring with approval in the video. This was a really impressive audition. I think I would have given him 4 stars.

The judges said:

4 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐! Sanity reins!!!

Should you watch it?

Fuck yeah.

Love Scenario

The performers:

Choi Seung Hun is ranked 46, and at 14 years old, is the youngest in the competition. His slogan, per his intake form, is “I’m not good enough, but I’ll do my best.” He has been an actor since he was 6 years old, and has acted in around 30 drama series and 3 movies between then and now, working steadily, usually playing the young version of other characters in flashbacks.

Jeon Ho Young is ranked 81, and is 18 years old. He’s also an actor, having appeared in 4 or 5 dramas and a movie.

The Song:

A classic, and for a good reason. One of those songs that after you’ve heard it a few times, you almost can’t imagine a world in which this song doesn’t exist -- as if it’s always existed.

My take:

Oh, this is really bad. Ho Young in particular looks terrified, and little Seung Hun sort of executes dance moves without actually dancing. Ho Young’s vocals are actually pretty ok, if you listen past the terror. Seung Hun’s vocals were within range of the key, which is better than some of the other auditions.

I checked out their practice video and Ho Young’s vocals are much better there, enough for me to feel like 3 stars wouldn’t have been insane. But their dancing and performance is still quite stilted, especially for little Seung Hun.

The judges say:

Little Choi Seung Hun gets 1 star ⭐, and I agree completely. Like obviously not ready to debut, but not 100% hopeless.

Jeon Ho Young gets 2 stars ⭐⭐, and again, fair. Someone who has displayed some skill acquisition in progress, though they are equally not ready to debut.

Should you watch it?

No, don’t bother, unless maybe you know them from their dramas.

Lullaby

The performers:

Jung Ho Jin turned 20 on Feb 27 of 2023, and is ranked 48th. His hobbies include eating and talking, and he used a ton of exclamation points on his intake form.

Kim Min Hyuk is 23, and ranked a sad 90th out of 93. He likes learning new things.

Park Gwan Young is 22 years old and ranked 61st. He was on another survival show called Stars Awakening, and made it close to the end. His motto is, in English, “4 Seasons Boy 4 You!”

*Jo Eun Woo* is 18 and has already left the show. I think he left really early in the process, so we don’t even have info on his initial star ranking.

The Song:

Possibly my favorite GOT7 song, or at least, quite high on the list. Check it out if you’re not familiar. There is actually a decently non cringey English version, too.

My take:

Jung Ho Jin in the blue shirt was, to my eyes, a pretty good dancer. Decent footwork, good angles, I don’t know, it looked good to me. He had a maniacal grin the whole time, and I think he’d do well to dial that back, but I’ll take that over stone face. He also mouthed along when he wasn’t singing, which I guess isn’t unheard of in Kpop but I disapprove of it. His singing was very weak. I’d give him maybe 2 stars, mainly for the dancing.

Kim Min Hyuk did ok, I think. He hit that first note perfectly, and a lot of the time he sounded ok, though fell a bit flat when he was dancing harder. He also took the term “ad lib” seriously and didn’t hit exactly the same ad libs as the original song had, which I don’t hate, but maybe the judges did, no way to know. His dancing seemed good to me. His biggest problem is I don’t think he smiled once -- he looked miserable.

Park Gwan Young has the most stage presence, and looked like he was actually having fun performing. His singing was in the vicinity of the key most of the time and sometimes actually on it. His dancing and footwork looked good to me, though again I’m not the best judge of that. Arguably the best in the group. Maybe his experience being on another survival show before helped him feel more comfortable than the others.

The judges say

Jung Ho Jin in the blue shirt earns 1 star ⭐. Enh, I see why.

Kim Min Hyuk with the actual adlibs earns 2 stars ⭐⭐ , which seems basically fair.

Park Gwan Young with the not terrible singing earns 2 stars ⭐⭐ . Yeah, fair. He needs to work on his pitch.

Should you watch it?

I wouldn’t bother. If you prefer, you can check out their practice video -- they’re more relaxed and rested in that and their vocals are much better. I mean, based on that video I might have given Park Gwan Young three stars (he’s wearing a tie in the practice video). He’s got a charm to him, actually.

Maniac

The performers:

Haru is 17 and is ranked 53rd. He’s not signed with any agency, and claims to be good at vocal mimicry.

Riku is 18 and is ranked 93rd, aka, last. He’s also not signed with an agency, and his motto is “I will charm you with a lovely figure.”

The Song:

It’s not my favorite Stray Kids song, and I feel like it’s a tough choice for an audition song, because no one can do Felix’s deep parts but Felix (or maybe Wyatt from ONF?). But they probably didn’t choose it.

My take:

Neither of them hit the vocals quite right, though Haru was a lot closer. Both of them were better at rapping than singing. I actually think their dancing wasn’t bad, and they did seem to commit to the performance pretty well. I can see why this wasn’t aired -- it wasn’t nearly bad enough to be funny, but not good enough to be actually good.

Judges say:

Haru is given ⭐⭐2 stars.

Riku is given ⭐1 star.

That seems fair. I might have given them both 2 stars, but Riku’s pitch was a bit too shaky perhaps.

Should you watch it?

Enh, maybe, I don’t know, probably not. If you want to watch it, you may have to search for “스타 레벨 테스트 maniac” to find it. (that says “star level test.”)

UN Village

The performer:

Wumuti is 23 years old and ranked 49th. He’s been on a ton of reality shows before this -- 3 Chinese ones and 1 Korean one (Under 19 -- one source says he withdrew early, but someone else says he made it to the end, I'll be honest and say I don't know). Here’s a promo photo from one of his early appearances, and no, I have no idea what he’s wearing.

The Song:

I’m an EXO fan so of course I love Baekhyun, but this song was never my favorite. I don’t have a good reason why. It’s fine, just didn’t stay long on my playlist.

My take:

Wumuti says in his intake form that this is one of his favorite songs, and it was an ambitious choice. It’s a difficult song to sing, and he does a decent job with it, considering. His vocal color isn’t nearly as thick and distinct as Baekhyun’s is, so his performance will never compare favorably to the original. He also has trouble with some of the highest notes. However, I appreciate that he held a real microphone and tried to show his vocal abilities. There wasn’t enough dancing for me to evaluate, really, but I get the sense he at least has rhythm.

Judges say:

2 stars ⭐⭐. I think they may have dinged him for his lack of dancing, because I think these vocals should have earned him 3 stars. He does a bit untrained -- I wonder how good he could be if he can work with Solji and the other vocal trainer and learn how to support his higher notes. He also needs to work on his vocal agility (ability to move through many different notes in a row).

Should you watch it?

I think so. He’s pretty good.

Veil

The performer:

Wang Zi Hao, from China. He’s 21 years old and ranked 29th. He claims his specialty is Krump.

The Song:

Lay, as a sorta-member of EXO, has all my support. He’s charming and multi talented. This song doesn’t quite catch my fancy, I’m sorry to say, but I could see how someone else would like it.

My take:

First off, can we put a hard pause on head to toe black shiny leather? Sigh.

Zi Hao is a big fan of Lay, which makes sense, and you can see why he wanted to do this song. Still, it was an interesting choice of song for an audition, because it’s in a mixture of English and Chinese. I think it *should* be ok for a trainee to audition in a language other than Korean, but you very rarely see it. (It’s possible he sang in English the whole time -- I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure.) His vocals seemed pretty pitchy to me. I think the dancing was good -- his movements were big and sharp and confident.

Judges say:

3 stars ⭐⭐⭐ That seems high to me because of his vocals, but he was on key some of the time, so I guess they were a little kind.

Should you watch it?

I’d say probably not, but I won’t warn you away from it or anything.

Who

The performers:

Lee Dong Yeol is 24 and currently ranked 26th.

Lee Hwan Hee is also 24, and ranked 38th.

Both are members of a relatively nugu group called Up10tion; Dongyeol goes by Xiao and is the lead dancer, while Hwanhee uses his real name and obviously is the main vocalist. You’ll hear his Baekhyun-eseque vocals all through their tracks -- in the way that some groups have a “face of the group,” he’s the voice of this group. You probably don’t know their fantastic song SpinOff, but you should, it’s good.

UP10TION debuted in 2015, under T.O.P Media, home to TeenTop (check out “To You,” find a dance version) and MCND (Check out ‘Crush.’ I swear, it grows on you). UP10TION, as the name implies, was once a 10-member boy group. Several of their members have terminated their contracts with T.O.P., but a few of those stayed with the group anyway, so there are 7 members active now. However, apparently a bunch more will see their contracts expire in March of 2023, so the timing here is pretty obvious.

(Side-note: When will K-Pop agencies learn not to put the number of members in the title of the group? Imagine if Exo had been called like, Exo-12. Sigh.)

The Song:

Enh? It's obviously trying for that quirky, stripped down sound, but it’s so stripped down as to be just that bit boring for me. I can see why they’d want to do a song originally performed by a duo, but with this song, there’s nowhere to hide, vocally. It doesn’t suit Hwanhee’s voice, either, for some reason. He sounds best when he belts.

My take:

This made me really sad. I would like to believe that Hwanhee can do so much better, because I love his studio vocals, and I know how tired and stressed they’d have to be. But it sounds so strained and painful. And then Dong Yeol sounds like… well, it sounds like he better be a really, really good dancer. Luckily he is. Neither was very presentational -- it was like watching a dance practice, not a performance. It really seems obvious that that bit in the choreo where one sort of tickles the other one on the chin, that’s the “killing part.” And during that killing part, Dong Yeol doesn’t actually touch Hwanhee. Look, I don’t care about skinship or whatever, I care about committing to the performance. Either do that move all the way, or don’t do that move if you’re uncomfortable touching each other.

The Judges say:

Lee Dong Yeol gets 2 stars ⭐⭐

Lee Hwan Hee gets 3 stars ⭐⭐⭐

Yeah, I think that is actually pretty fair.

Should you watch it?

Probably not. If you do want to, it’s really hard to find when you search for it, so you can use this link. It’s not that it’s atrocious or anything, but I just have to believe they could have done better -- or maybe they can’t, and that’s sad too.

Have you ever felt in love at least once in your life? In love to the point of wanting to give everything for that person? In love to the point of being able to commit the worst just to have that person look at you?

If so, you should understand Felix's feelings. He worked from home as a translator of English books and translated them into Korean to make them accessible to everyone.

Spending almost every day at his home allowed two important things:

Number one: he could stay in his pajamas or underpants all day long and get up at the time he wanted (he tried to defend the fact that he was not the typical gamer but unfortunately he checked all the boxes)

Number two: spend his days watching from the window of his living room his handsome and seductive neighbor Seo Changbin.

Let's face it, Felix had fallen under the charm of the brunette, he liked everything about him. His muscles giving him an impressive and tall build, his curly hair that he often hid under a cap or a bob, the little laugh he had when he teased someone. In short, he really liked everything about himself....

He even liked it a little too much ...

Let's just say that he sometimes did things that bordered on morality or even on legality just to observe him from afar or to get to know him better. He justified this mostly by shyness and his fear of approaching him as if following him around and threatening the least person he spoke to was simple shyness.

But until now he had never gone that far...

He had seen the brunette leave early this morning, leaving the blonde the opportunity to infiltrate his home with his material in hand. His goal? Enter his house and visit his house. He saw from far the warm light that emanated from the living room, sometimes he also saw his room but since he installed curtains he sees almost nothing so it was the opportunity to see what was missing right?

He had watched dozens of tutorials on youtube to learn how to pick a lock and had even bought the necessary adhesives!

- "Huh...why is it so complicated?! The videos showed that it was simple though" he cried before miraculously the door was unlocked allowing him access to the oldest house.

He slowly entered the room and looked at it with admiration as if it were a masterpiece. He knew that the poor brunette was a busy music producer and it showed in the look of her untidy living room, although compared to the house he had inherited from his parents, his was more like a pigsty than anything else. He chuckled as he decided to do the housework for himself, picking up the sheets of paper on the floor to organize them and put them on the coffee table. And then picking up the many food wrappers scattered throughout his living room. It's crazy how a gym rat like him could be addicted to junk food! But now that Felix thought about it, he was sure he had noticed that Changbin had recently put on a lot of weight, his hips were much wider and no talking aboit his butt that he kept staring for afar , enough to notice how he started to waddle with all those fat he was caring and although he was wearing oversized tops, the Australian could definitely make out a soft belly pushing against the fabric or his chest that no longer look like a muscled or tone one but more line a women B cup chest.

-"Oh my little dwaekki ~ you're only getting more beautiful by the day, I'm going to have to start taking care of you soon" he hummed before traveling to the equally messy kitchen to find more and more junk food, but at least the dishes were done "You're filling up like a little piggy, aren't you? No wonder you're getting fatso quickly" he added before chuckling and inspecting his fridge which although it contained, he even allowed himself to take a small box of strawberry milk which he sipped as he went upstairs with a feline walk.

He quickly came upon his room which he inspected from top to bottom without forgetting to take from his dirty laundry basket one of his sweaters whose smell he sniffed like his beloved. "It's like you're hugging me," Felixen added, hugging the piece of cloth to himself before walking over to his desk and finding a small black notebook that he decided to inspect out of curiosity. It was like a kind of diary except that here it listed the weight gain of the brunette which seemed quite voluntary. The first two pages were happily glued together so he couldn't read the beginning but the rest was still funny.

It kept daily records of the weight, measurements and calories consumed by the brunette, sometimes accompanied by a few photos of her bare chest to show the evolution (which he did not hesitate to take one or two for his future solitary pleasures). Ir was so cute to see how his tummy started to hang out from his pant , my god if he keep continues to read one more sentence from this notebook , Felix will definitly need some help down here.

So after closing the book a bit dazed , Felix hung around Changbin's place for a long time before going home proud of everything he had recovered from the brunette.

And if only he knew that during this time across the street someone had broken into his house, that someone had also cleaned his living room, nibbled on the few brownies on a plate in the kitchen table and waddled over to his bedroom to take a nap in his bed. Pretty similar, right?

Have you ever hurt someone for love? Hit a guy who was a little clingy with your crush? Or intoxicated the meal of that neighbor who was a little too intrusive in your crush's life?

If so then you'll understand Changbin'q feelings

He'd had this huge crush on Felix ever since the redhead moved in, ever since he rang his doorbell with a plate full of brownies to make a good impression on the neighborhood.

He loved everything about him. His angelic smile, his attire, his deep voice, his slim body. When he found out that he was translating books, he just checked out the books that Felix had translated, and when he was in the studio with Chan, he sometimes asked him to teach him English or Australian slang.

But one day he had made a great discovery... It was a day like any other, a thursday afternoon when Fleix had gone shopping, giving the brunette about 45 minutes to infiltrate the blond's garden and with a router with access to his internet history in order to discover if the little sunshine was as pure as he looked. He discovered a great passion for the group twice, tutorials to learn dances, makeup tutorials but especially a lot of videos around the content feederism and related to weight gain.

He smiled that day when he discovered that his beloved loved fat boys and that's when he thought that he might have a chance. For a few years since he had started to build muscle, he had been looking for a way not to be thin, he was advised to build muscle and that's what he did but on the other hand he liked to eat too much so that at 25 years old he had a body covered with both muscle and fat. Maybe if he stopped going to the gym and ate a little more, he would become beautiful in Felix's eyes?

That's when he decided to take a notebook and write down all his accomplishments. It's a pity that Felix didn't take the first pages when it was written in big letters "WEIGHT GAIN DIARY FOR SEDUCING FELIX ♡♡♡".

In fact, he hadn't even noticed the brunette lying on his bed as he seemed to fall into a semi-food coma after indulging earlier in bulgogi with his friends. He was so full he could barely stand, yet he continued to nibble on Felix's brownies, which were his second obsession after his sunshine. He didn't even notice the crumbs he was leaving...

And he didn't even bother to wake up until Felix returned...

Speaking of Felix, here he was coming in.

He was surprised to see his living room tidy when he was sure he hadn't touched anything. The surprising thing was the little crumbs of what appeared to be brownies that seemed to form a path to the floor.

So equipped with a knife to defend himself, Felix climbed calmly as he suddenly became stressed. As he approached, he heard a faint but loud noise as if someone was firing a trunk gun, still freaking out the blond. But once he entered his room his pressure was quickly relieved when he saw that it was only Changbin sleeping on his bed. The sounds were only him snoring softly. Despite this Felix could not contain his joy at the sight of this scene, his belly was exposed as it seemed the oldest one had outgrown his shirt.

- "So you're in love with me too? Oh Binnie you don't know how this fills me with joy" he whispered before caressing her cheek before kissing her and adding in a semi inaudible voice "I promise you that you won't run away from here" before giggling and wooing the brunette before going downstairs in the direction of the kitchen assuming that when he woke up, Changbin would be a little hungry.

And he was right, although before thinking about his appetite, which had made him gain such a big and wide belly that rested on his thick thighs, he had to realize that he was locked in Felix's house and at the sight of the noise and the delicious smell of chicken, the blond man had returned.

His heart suddenly began to beat wildly as he thought of a way to get out without alerting Felix. He had thought about going out the window but a quick glance at his stomach and ass made him realize that it was not a good option. But he had no other choice so he opened the window and was about to do so when the door of the room suddenly opened leaving Felix in a yellow apron with a very full tray in his arms.

-" Jagi what were you trying to do?" The blond man shouted in amusement, leaving a confused Changbin to face him.

- "J-Jagi?" he repeated, "What's wrong with that? Would you like me to call you something else? I also have, my love, sweetie, honey, Binnie, hyungie-" "No no Jagi is fine I'm just... confused" he cut off, standing by the now wide open window.

- "About what? I should be the one surprised to run into my hot neighbor sleeping in my bed! So either we play this scenario for a long time or you let me feed you all the good food I've prepared for you" Felix smiled widely letting all the love he carried at that moment for the brunette who had his heart beat so fast this time for the blond before aquiesser to sit on the bed as if he was bewitched by him.

-"Well, good dwaekki ~ good thing I got there in time, you could have been hurt really bad trying to get out you know? I think my window is way too small for you" the blond added with a pout as he took a piece of chicken and gave it to Changbin who didn't hesitate to bite and chew hapily. He was quite amused by his words, so it was the window that was too small and not him who was too fat with his 118 kilos of muscle but also definitly pure fat.

-"You're right, I could have missed a very good service by the best maid" he teased, making the main man concerned gape and blush and hide his blushing cheek with one hand while continuing to feed the brunette "Stop or I'll make the front door too small for you" he threatened in a tender voice, although deep down the two young men were not against the idea

Besides, the meal was done calmly and for the first time they talked as a normal conversation would be done when they met in the house of the other.

In the end, their obsession with each other had driven them into each other's arms and before they could even say it out loud, they were already owned by each other.

And then finally after a few years, they lived a perfect life as a couple, well definitely out of the norm but perfect for them. Felix was managing his work from home, the housekeeping and a husband who was too greedy to go around the house to find where his "adorable and precious Boki" had hidden his package of chocolate filled cakes.

In just three years, Changbin's weight had doubled dramatically, his whole body was covered with fat that hung and shook with every step he took. He waddled with every step he took, having to support the weight of his rear end, which was getting heavier every day, not to mention his gut, which made a good pillow or sofa for his beloved Felix.

But he had succeeded, he had made him too big for the front door, and then the day he saw him come out and turn to the side, He had not ceased to praise him for "letting himself get so fat" while the brunette only said in a romantic tone "I did it so that I wouldn't have any reason to stay away from you" when the main reason was that he couldn't resist his food, he was far too greedy for that.

With the years he knew how to be less violent with those who approached Felix but he remained nevertheless sticking to him while Felix allowed himself some acts of violence towards those who treated his Binnie badly so beware because Felix would be able to kill for the love of his Binnie!
