I don't think I can properly explain just how happy this scene made me

They've been drawing a lot of parallels between s1 and s2, so I was hoping we'd get another scene of these two talking about Ed's struggle with his identity now that Izzy's had some character growth

Now that he almost died, but instead got to live and to feel miserable and be accepted and cared for by the crew as a result

Now that he realized that you can grow into a different person, a person that feels and cares for things, and it not being "a fate worse than death"

He got to live and grow, and now he knows how to accept and care for Ed in the way that he needs

currently in mourning, i hate everything

i had such (at this point i know, unrealistic) hopes for all of supercharger team, but ESPECIALLY haruto so it physically pains me that he didn't make it. i don't even know what to say tbh. he's one of the reasons i started watching the show, and one of the first episodes i watched live was him making it during the first elimination (literally tuned in right as he was bawling lol). i just hope he finds success because he is such a gem. ugh.

loosing all of supercharger is devastating tbh. i like pretty much all the trainees left but can think of a few i'd have swapped out to save someone from supercharger team.

also kuanjui makes me so upset. with his mood at emca and the fanmeeting, i kind of knew but it still hurts. he deserves the world, and i can't imagine how hard it was going through the process as a global AND independent trainee. it seems like he at least had the yuehuas and hao espeically as support, but i can only imagine how hard it was to be the only one in over me who didn't make it... i hate this SO MUCH

so so so happy hao stayed p02 but i am seriously concerned for the final. i don't really like fully getting into conspiracy but the way there's been multiple instances of the norms being changed in a way that disadvantages him is worrying (p02/p03 chairs being in the back instead of up front this elim, him having the killing part in over me but not being center in the thumbnails/graphics like the others with kp, not showing him choosing his part for the final song) plus him and ricky are the only chinese trainees left... anyway he is my one pick and i won't be wavering from that.

also so so happy seungeon and ricky rose in rank too... i truly love all the yuehuas and am super curious as to how many will be in the final group... they're all great and although nothings locked i think yujin, hao, gyuvin and ricky all have a shot.

hao basically forcing mnet to show the dance break choreo with hanbin, we love a smart king... (((still nothing of the hao and kuanjui choreo making tho >:( what were they talking about on the bed)))

i had a meeting so i missed pretty much all of the last section plus p05-p01 and the 18th spot, so i'll watch that on friday. i hope hao gets the killing part tho, at this point it's just between him and matthew....

also my work schedule worked out that i'll be able to watch the finale live, thank GOD. i'm excited but also terrified lol

somehow instead of saying "as a treat", I've started using the phrase "for morale", as if my body is a ship and its crew, and I (the captain) have to keep us in high spirits, lest we suffer a mutiny in the coming days.

and so I will eat this small block of fancy cheese, for morale. I will take a break and drink some tea, for morale. I will pick up that weird bug, for morale.

no offence but the reason tumblr is “dying” is, well, yes, of course the cursed like/reblog ratio and the change in user behaviour (because of people being used to how instagram and tiktok work) BUT also the lack of weekly shows. i say it with my whole chest, they don't produce captivating and engaging stupid weekly tv shows anymore because streaming killed that so you have spikes of activity here when Something happens in general fandom or up to three days after a new season of whatever drops and then it's a wasteland. this is obviously an old woman yelling at a cloud missing supernatural and the vampire diaries and pretty little liars and all these other shows type of post but honestly give me back weekly tv shows where i have something to watch for 40 minutes almost every day of the week after work so then i can read and reblog it on tumblr give it back for the sake of my sanity

the funniest part of any Robin meeting the JL is that every Robin is so distinctly different from the previous one in terms of personality and vibes that the league literally gets backlash. and like, I don't blame them. not to mention that they are non-meta children that dress as a traffic light and fight crime alongside batman in gotham on a nightly basis. i'd also be a bit concerned. Batman, literally The Night of Gotham personified in the League's eyes, coming into a JL meeting: This is Robin, my crime-fighting partner. 11-year-old Dick Grayson, dressed in the brightest primary colours possible, vaguely hidden murder behind those eyes, never stops moving even for a moment: Hi! Superman: That's a child. That's-- Bats that is a child. You let a child--? Batman, deadpan: You try to stop him. Would you rather he try and murder a grown man with a wire?

Batman: This is Robin. 12-year-old Jason Todd, with the biggest grin on his face, about 3 books in his hand, stars in his eyes and a distinct street-kid drawl: Hey!!! Green Lantern: That's ... that's a different child. What?? Jason: I stole his tires :) Batman: Tried to. Jason, stage whispering to the League: basically did. Green Lantern: that is a different kid, right?? I'm not seeing shit??

Batman: This is Robin. 14-year-old Tim Drake, bo staff clutched in his hand, a wary and tired expression on his face, more on the quiet side, the literal walking definition of don't judge a book by it's cover: hello Flash: Where do you even find these-- Tim: I found myself.

Batman: This is Robin. 17-year-old Stephanie Brown, literally blonde, with a shit-eating grin, eyes full of nothing but mischief and the most explosive personality you've ever seen: hiya!! Superman: I give up. Stephanie: I know, I have that amazing effect on people.

Batman: This is Robin. 13-year-old Damian Wayne, a literal wet cat that will hiss at you, has a sword, the most judgemental stare you'll get from a teenager, ready to jump anyone there: Green Lantern: WHY DOES HE HAVE A SWORD?! Batman: ... he came with the sword.

Apparently, my decision to be silly and make fanart of someone's writing (because I genuinely enjoy the story the person is writing and I was struck with inspiration upon reading a particular scene) has benevolent and wildly unforeseen consequences.

I apparently gained a bit of control of the canon because said writer really loved the art and decided what I drew/draw is canon.

2. Writer put said artwork into the document of his story right below the scene, so now it's IN the story where people who read the story will see it (with a link to me)

3. He sent the artwork to all his friends and people he knows because he was so excited

Wholesome interaction and I watched him do all that in real time, good stuff. However...there are two more consequences I was notified of today...nearly a full week after I gave the artwork.

Seeing the artwork caused his friends to become interested in reading and hearing about his story, which means more people are reading what he's writing and giving him critique on the story (which he actively asks for).

Apparently, upon seeing the art, his writer friends got a sudden second wind to pick back up writing they'd abandoned for a few months. Because, I quote, "seeing that someone enjoyed {his} writing enough to take the time to make art of it gave them the motivation that maybe THEY can write something that will inspire someone to also create something." I have accidentally caused a writing frenzy among his writer friends and my silly idea to make art for someone has had a butterfly effect for people who I don't even know.

Uhh...I'm pretty sure there's a moral here but I am tired and have a great deal of emotions about this.
