There is this question about Circe (the novel) which haunts me:

Why to invent a relationship with Hermes only to make it senseless? What's the use of it? 🤔 Being pure invention anyway,why to create something based on nothing? I would have been entertained also from a mere "friends with benefits" kind of union. But as Circe said in the novel, she didn't even considered him a friend. What's the point then on two "absolutely nothing" ending with her hating him for..absolutely nothing,just random? 🤡

I am probably biased, but I am sure Hermes might have used better than this.
