But probably passenger pigeon, since I'm biased towards birds (as you are well aware-) and doves in particular! The huge flocks of them coating the sky must have certainly been a sight, one that I would have loved to have seen. Alas, I was born over 100 years too late... 😔

hhooggurgh, don't mind me, just gonna be ranting-
I certainly don't like this feelin', man...! It's been cropping up a lot more lately... Wish I could ignore it better, but oh well.
Just feeling lonely, differently than usual, and I don't like what it implies. Not like anything is gonna change in that manner for me anyway - I had a chance, one that I shouldn't have had, and it likely just caused me and someone I cared for dearly to be hurt worse than when I initially rejected him...
...Wish I'd never felt that way, because I don't think I'd be feeling quite like this had I not had a taste of it... gaaahh...
I miss the kind of me I was then....... I miss how I was years ago, but after everything these past couple years it... feels so much harder to be open and affectionate like I used to... I still try, but it's... scary now. I worry it'll get used against me again. That more of me will die, that I'll lose myself further.
...who would want this kind of broken me anyway? ...imreallynotworthlovinglikethat...
I've gotten real bitter... I don't like it a bit... but I suppose like anything, like all the rest of this, I've gotta work through it as best I can...

I do just wonder sometimes... what do I keep doing wrong?
I know it's... not always the best to linger, and you won't always be told, but......
.....it'd be nice to know...... and i wish i could notice or fix things..... rather than screwing up so frequently...

life feels like a dance i can not seem to learn or get the hang of
