Someone on Twitter said Hyenas have to tear themselves apart if they want their babies to be born or something like that and that lines up perfectly with the fact that Ruggie's mom died on the day she gave birth to him. I am. I'm. I can't do this today.

Stupid technically canon family tree.
AE!Mikako refers to Kokoro and Mikako as Mother and Father so this happened.
So technically AE!Mikado and Mikako are half siblings because technically they have the same mum.

@txnichtgut asked: 19) sender places their coat around receiver after realizing they’re cold. ( zack/terence/theo... i am not any picky ;w; up to you it is ) - I choose Zack
Joshua couldn’t remember anything. He had been floating in the sea, clinging to a piece of wood, unconscious, probably waiting for death when a small ship came to a halt next to him and a pair of firm hands pulled him out of the water and onto the deck. And there the young man stayed when he woke up. He didn’t say anything or ask anything when the men asked him what had happened at Origin, where Clive was, if Prince Dion was still alive. All those words and names didn’t mean anything to him. If one of them had not called him by his name, telling him that they had met before and he was now returning the favor, Joshua would not have remembered even that.
All he remembered was an unbearable pain inside his chest, like something was exploding out of him, he remembered a scorching heat, hot enough to melt stone and then.. nothing. Now there was just this deep void inside his chest. Like a crucial part of him missing and Joshua didn’t know how he could fill it again.
Everything felt meaningless. Even when the mercenary named Zack, whose life Joshua apparently had saved some time ago, told him they would take him home, back to Rosaria, all he could do was stare at him. It meant nothing to him. But where else could he go? These people called him ‘Your Grace’ and it gave him the feeling that he had to belong somewhere, but was anything of it real if he couldn’t remember it?
Joshua let these men drag him along, they pretty much insisted on taking him home, and when they finally arrived at a port the journey was not over yet. Silently, as he had not bothered speaking to anyone yet, he stood by Zack’s side as they waited for the mercenary’s companions to return. It didn’t take long for them to come back, bringing a couple of chocobos for them to ride with them, but as soon as they mounted to start the last part of their journey the sky darkened.
And just as they left the village behind it started raining, no, pouring even, and within moments they were all drenched, clothes sticking to their bodies like a second skin. Joshua listened to the other men complaining and making plans to seek shelter at the nearest tavern, but he just lifted his head to stare at the sky. He didn’t have to tell his chocobo what to do or where to go, she obediently kept following the other members of her flock without paying any attention to the man sitting on her back.
Joshua was lost in his own thoughts and this somewhat eternal moment of solitude when he felt a coat being wrapped around his shoulders. The young man winced almost hard enough to fall off his chocobo but managed to keep his balance in the very last moment and as he looked up he was staring right into those oceanic blue eyes of a certain Zack Fair. The coat, as wet as it was, kept the chilly rain at bay and it was only then that Joshua realized how cold he really was, he hadn’t even noticed he shivered and this man was going out of his way to help him, so with a slight blush across his cheeks Joshua finally spoke:
“Thank you. You really didn’t have to..”
