So many people think Stancy getting back together ruins Steve’s season 3 arc but that’s not true. Steve’s season 3 arc was not about getting over Nancy. The chance for that ended when they chose to make Robin a lesbian. Steve’s season 3 arc is about him finally learning to judge people for their character and not their popularity or lack thereof. He finally realizes superficial things are not important and befriends someone he never even noticed in high school because he was afraid of how it would affect his social status as King Steve. He realizes Nancy was right and all these things he believed in high school were bullshit. None of that will change or be negated if Stancy get back together in season 5.

I love Nancy, she's badass, but omg she has flaws, you know, like human beings do.

I must say I hate that everybody's agreed that Steve "is shitty boyfriend"(including Steve himself)

Like, bitch, where?!?

Let's see: he had not the best reaction when found out that some weirdo sneaking and making pics of his girlfriend's undressing, then he found out that she kinda cheating on him with that same weirdo.

And I must say, Nancy was shitty girlfriend not only for Steve, but for Jonathan too...or we forgot season 3 where he's like: I really need this job for my family and my future. And she's like: who cares, I need to show to those assholes that I 'm worthy...

I think like since Nancy with Jonathan she's more like Steve of season 1. So I'm glad to see her friendship with Robin and more time spending with kids and Steve.

I mean, in season 4 she sees how Steve grown-up... I think we'll see it's her turn to grow in season 5...at least I hope so.

I love my characters have flaws, recognise them and grow, luckily earning their happy ending

Yes, call me bias and Stancy stan

And yass, Steve needs to be protected at all costs

I do think you guys should make a stancy exception like your rovickie exception because there really is hardly any content for them out there that isn't "stancy in the background/stancy breaks up/stancy hate each other/stancy is toxic/etc." genuine stancy love is basically a rarepair at this point

Hi! So while I totally understand what you mean, I don't think we're going to be making an exception for any other canon pairings aside from Rockie and Argylen (considering we have no idea if we can even constitute Argylen as a canon pairing to begin with.)

While the fandom may not make a whole lot of content for Stancy, they still have a good amount of source material in the show. They have about a season and a half of content where they're together and lots of hinted chemistry in S4, whereas Rockie has only a couple of scenes together and often gets overshadowed as many sapphic ships do.

This isn't to say we have anything inherently against the ship and the people who subscribe to it, it just doesn't necessarily fit this blog's purpose. I hope you understand.

Though if you're looking for active source blogs that are dedicated to Stancy alone, there's @wheelerharrington! I know there are others but I can't find them at the moment and I think this is the main one that posts on a semi-regular basis.
