TIME FOR A PINNED POST

HELLO THERE! My name is Shazzbaa or Shazz (she/her), or InkDemonApologist if u wanna do the username but like we all have Ink in our names in this fandom so sometimes its confusing i know. My main is @shazzbaa, and this is my Bendy and the Ink Machine sideblog! I joined the fandom late, in early 2020, and I’m partial to the human employees. I think Sammy Lawrence is a big dumb jerk but also I love him, ITS COMPLICATED; I’m a multishipper but my big OTPs are JoeyxSammy (derogatory) and JackxSammy (affectionate). @inkyvendingmachine is my partner!

I’m happy to receive asks, though I’m pretty slow to answer and can’t always answer all of them, but it’s no bother to get a neat question! I just skip if I can’t think of a good answer. Feel free to resend a question if it’s been a while and you’re still curious. I am usually too shy to answer compliment anons but I appreciate u! I do not take requests, art trades, or commissions; I’m just here for fun. Please don’t ask me to draw specific things! ESCAPE AU: My “the crew escape the Studio, restored but changed and full of lingering trauma, and have to figure out how to live with each other” AU that I develop with @inkyvendingmachine. You can find a summary page about it over here! There’s not a continuous storyline but sometimes I do lil comics or fic.

CTHULHU AU: aka Call of Cthulhu: Haunted Hijinx, which is actually a tabletop game where we’re all playing batim characters in a divergent timeline. @minnie313 sent this to me a while ago because the questions reminded her of Jo/Danny, and I found it in my drafts half filled in, so I thought I’d finish it (deleting a few questions that I know I’ve already done in another meme).

Who spends almost all their money on the other?

Danny would spend all his money on Jo if she let him, but she won't. Instead, he channels the impulse into improving his room and making it a nicer place for her to be when she stays the night (which is only when his brother's away). Jo notices that he's acquired a new bed and a warmer duvet and some high-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets, and comments on it approvingly, but it doesn’t occur to her that all these things are for her benefit, and Danny feels shy about telling her.

Which one tells the other one not to stay up all night and which one stays up all night anyway?

Danny tells Jo not to stay up all night, but she doesn't sleep well on her own and is always messaging him at two in the morning.

Which one tries to make food for the other but burns it all by accident, and which one tells them that it’s okay and makes them both cookies?

Danny can cook according to canon, so I’m going to say Jo is the food burner because she gets distracted. He arrives with a bag full of shopping on a Saturday night so he can do breakfast for them both the next morning.

Which one reads OTP prompts and says ‘Oh that’s us’ and which one says ‘Eh, not really?’

Danny’s the one who reads the prompts. Jo’s the one who says ‘not really,’ but secretly she thinks it’s sweet.

Which one spends all day running errands and which one says ‘You remembered [thing], right?’

Danny runs the errands and Jo asks if he remembered the thing, which he almost always did.

Which one drives the car and which one gives them directions?

I’m torn on this because I can see Jo making Danny drive, but I can also see her wanting to be the one in control of the car.

Which one does the posing while the other one draws?

No idea. I don’t think either of them can draw.

Which one of your OTP overdoes it on the alcohol and which one makes the other stop drinking?

Considering that this is an actual subplot from canon, I think it's safe to say that Jo is the one with the problem and Danny's the one trying to stop her embarrassing herself in public or blowing up her liver.

Which one screams about the spider and which one brings the spider outside?

For a tough person, Jo is surprisingly terrified of spiders. Danny would just kill them, but she makes him take them outside instead.

Which one gives the other their jacket?

As gangly as Danny is, I doubt he could ever squash himself into any clothes of Jo’s, so he gives her his jacket.

Which one keeps getting threatened by the other’s older sibling?

Jo does. She and Scott already had a somewhat prickly relationship, but it's become more awkward because he doesn't like Danny being involved with her. He says Danny can't take this sort of thing lightly and is going to end by having his heart broken, which may or may not be true. (Although, Jo is worried about that as well, and is doing her best not to let it happen.)

Who’s the first one to admit they have feelings for the other?

Danny admits it first. He's terrified and thinks Jo is going to murder him, and if she doesn't murder him, he thinks he'll probably lose his his job over it. When neither of those things happen, he's almost too shocked to be happy.

How good would your OTP be at parenting?

I think Danny would be good with Jo's son, but he'd be more like an uncle or an elder brother than a parent figure. They wouldn't have any children together because of Jo's age, and because she knows that realistically a single child is almost more than she can handle.

Which one types with perfect grammar and which one types using numbers as letters?

Danny types with perfect grammar. Jo's in a hurry, bangs out her messages however, and can often be heard crossly saying, 'You knew what I meant, Danny.'

Who gets attacked by a bully and who protects them?

I think they'd both protect each other. Jo may be hard on Danny sometimes, but I’m certain she’d destroy anyone who actually tried to hurt him, and he’d probably throw himself in front of a train for her, so yeah.

Who comes home from work to see that the other one bought a puppy?

Jo wakes up late on a Sunday morning and finds the puppy in bed with her, all fluffy fur and hopeful, adoring eyes (which could also describe Danny, but anyway). She blinks at it in sleepy confusion and it licks her face, and then Danny appears at the side of the bed and swears that he'll feed it and walk it and take it to doggie daycare, and her son will love it, so pleeeease?

Which one gives the other a piggyback ride when they’re tired?

Danny offers a piggyback ride, and Jo says 'you must be joking' and keeps walking.

Which one competes in some sort of activity and which one does the overzealous cheering?

I’m not sure about competing, but I do know from canon that Danny watches Jo on television and cheers as she takes down the opposition, so there’s that.

Who takes a selfie when the other one falls asleep on their shoulder?

Danny would like to, but knows better than to actually do it.

Which one holds the umbrella over both of them when it rains?

Taller one holds the umbrella, so that's Danny's job.

If your OTP went on vacation, where would they go and what would they do? Who would take the pictures?

Hm...probably to some faraway location in another country, and they’d behave like ordinary tourists and look at waterfalls and rock formations and things. Jo would be one of those people who just naturally turn brown in the sun, and Danny would be burnt to a crisp no matter how much sun cream he put on. He'd be the one who took the photos.
