Notes from the AHWM Explanation Livestream
This will be long, so fair warning! If you're on computer, you can press the spacebar to skip this post if you want!
There was CG smoke for the bomb
The last shot was running after the bomb goes off, filmed during the day
Many cursed images
(0:56 - Guns Blazing) November 5th = gunpowder treason & plot (a reference)
Ethan is the one yelling during the run
Helicopter/Car was filmed in a place formerly known as Spiderwoods (spiders, snakes, and bugs everywhere)
Mark's patented method to get rid of snakes is to tell them to fuck off
There was big black snake near the library
Chica snore-grumbles
Most of the choices were pretty evenly split in the video data
The guy who owned the field in Helicopter/Car also owned the helicopter
It was hard to get the cameraman to know that the camera is an interacting character
They filmed up to 10 pages a day
Prison was the first 2 days of shooting, as well as the part with the most characters/extras (12 people)
Mick gets typecasted in roles of authority
The Prison location is a functioning mental hospital
John was a Prisoner, first mate, and is a realtor IRL
There is no "why" to recording this to keep a broad audience and have fun after Mark was in a depression and made WKM
The Gregory Brothers / Schmoyoho made 2 renditions of I Don't Wanna Be Free (which is on Apple/iTunes/Spotify)
The musical was a production/recording nightmare on the 2nd day
They had 20 minutes max. to learn each segment; they had a choreographer helping them learn the dances
The original vocals didn't have the accent
Mark had to do the vocals, acting, blocking, etc. in 30 mins
Mick was supposed to cross frame during the top-hats-part, but they had already recorded it; the producers weren't comfortable telling Mark "no" yet, so they had Amy do it
The smashed bricks were styrofoam; Mark was typed to a rope that was pulled
The director of photography was Phillip J Roy; he took a pay cut to work on this project
Yancy's sleeve tattoo is the whole map again
Yancy's tattoos are Tiny Box Tim and Mark/Dark across his knuckles; those were Makeup's ideas
The Musical was only 1/4 of a recording day
There was 3 work weeks of shooting (15 days)
Day By Dave made a remix
Yancy was named "Prison Mark" until the fight scene started to be made in post-production, where he needed a name; Mark liked Yancy and Amy was very against it originally
Yancy killed both of his parents; Mark knew people were gonna fall in love with him anyway
"Yancy stans, go, march on"
Yancy has an emoji bandaid
Heapass (canonically) makes an appearance in Thanks and also Yes Please; he had "Heapass" on a cast, but it was on the wrong side from the camera
Holt Boggs (the cell guard) is an amazing man; he was overqualified ("soft hands")
The cell was in a green-screen soundstage, so there was more improve
Yancy was supposed to be hidden in the ceiling or beside the bed, but under the bed turned out better; he's hidden under the bed the whole scene
The Red Gemini was the camera that they used for this project
Mark just runs off frame in Thanks and also Yes Please
The audio-only part was very convenient for filming and fitting for a 1st-person perspective
Yancy's talk at the gate was Mark real-acting & the late shot of the 1st day of filming, which made all of them realize that the project could actually work
Yancy WANTS to be in prison; he knows all the ways out - he'd leave if he wanted to
The items in the box are more representational achievements
Mark needs our help to promote AHWM, through liking the video(s), commenting good things, and spreading the project; the performance of this dictates the ability to make another similar project
Mark worked for FREE for 5 months, taking no cut of the budget for himself
"Yancy is just Prison Mark with amnesia" "There could be a time-skip there; it could work"
Robert Rex, "a god walking amongst mere morals;" has always wearing the same thing; Mark didn't know that he was going to do different accents
Amy is the hand with the feather-duster
The Warden's desk moves into the hallway after a smash-cut
Mick's line had to be rewritten so it can be ambiguous; you can only tell if you were looking
The Warden embodies "big strong hands," something Mark writes into dialogue a lot (along with "trust you me"); everytime he touches something it cracks (his desk, Yancy's shoulder)
Pulling stuff from behind Mark's back was on-the-spot
The dirt joke was a prop-person and Mark throwing buckets
Mark helped Holt Boggs make a short video
HOLT BOGGS
The truck in Prison was a one-take-wonder; they actually bashed the truck through the wall in a such a cartoony, perfect way
The Bob/Wade skit was a reference to Prop Hunt
Mark comparing the disappointment of people not liking the video to a cup of dirt under the Christmas tree
The lid to the sewer says "a heist with markiplier"
The sewer was in an actual sewer treatment plant, which took about a week of filming; some parts were flooded so they couldn't film there; this place was scheduled to be torn down
Mark forces us to choose the Light Tunnel first
Cranbersher, GrittySugar, and Lixian collaborated for the Light Tunnel; it was originally going to be live action with a green-screen and a pre-made raft; Cranberser offered when he had a 3-month break from other projects
Amy notes that Mark did a lot of "falling"
Mark had to carry a 200 pound man and a heavy camera rig to carry Y/N
There was poison ivy, snakes, spiders, etc. on the island
The Game Grumps voiced the aliens; Erin originally was meant to play the Warden & Danny was meant to play one of the guards
Many roles fluctuated due to scheduling
Getting abducted is a reference to ADWM ("not again!")
Mark loves MatPat's scenes and acting (Build a Shelter)
There were so many mosquitos near the Cave and the actors couldn't put on bug spray because they had to preserve their makeups
There was a giant hole in the Cave from which grasshoppers rained down
They were a mile into the cave; they weren't able to staff them for 3 days, so they recorded for 2 days and had fo cut some shots
The Cave freeze-frame was unscripted; the camera director didn't tell cut and it was too funny
The Hermit was originally supposed to be Jacksepticeye but scheduling errors were in the way
Mick was originally supposed to be Crazy Ed
When the sound-guy didnt have a sound effect, one of them riffed something at the mic and it was modulated to fit as best as possible
Mark's camera loses signal/battery power
Mark has done the hot-wire-while-moving in Car before (van videos)
The blue flash during Car is you from the future/another timeline
Mark was actually driving the car; someone flashed the blue light so it was a bit dangerous
Tyler and Ethan make appearances as Zombies
Tyler actually let Mark hit him with a rock
There was a dead beaver in the shed during the Zombie Apocalypse
The Zombie Apocalypse shots were in VERY hot weather
The barricaded front door but very open back door was intentional humour
Ethan's zombie handshake was thought up on the spot
Moe was the man screaming from the fire and zombie attack, making everyone behind the camera laugh
Rosanna Pansino sings opera & speaks Chinese
The Scientist had to be broken up (the cuts are in the gunshots)
243 is a chemical identification symbol in an actual laboratory, nothing meaningful to the plot
The code leads to the AHWM website
What's truly inside the box is the real timeline, which is the team making the project
The room where the monitor was in (Amy, script manager, etc.) was locked out and no one could see what was going on, only hear it through headsets
Mark threw 2 dummies (main video, Absolutely Not!)
Chica likes to climb through the cords underneath Mark's desk
The true/canon ending is For The Greater Good, which leads to ADWM
SodaPopIn hasn't really done this before, but he went with it because he was told Mark was nice; he continued even during harsh weather, many planes, and a long take/monologue
The sandwiches are a callback to ADWM
The montage endings were inspired by the ones Amy made for ADWM
There was never any time set aside to get photos for the montages, so they had to continuously get pictures
Catherine makes an appearance in the Warfstache bit
Warfstache is just a meta joke > you respond by writing in the comments as a survey, producer Catherine is more powerful than the video-editing, ringing the bell for notifications
They rented the same place for the Warfstache bit that they used to film all the other previous Warfstache bits
Dark inserts himself wherever he feels like being
There is charity (#TeamTrees) merch for each of the egos/Mark characters in this project (including the new ones)
Edge of Sleep's last episode aired yesterday (as of the stream - 6/11/19)
A "reverse" charity livestream is happening soon
The next project(s) are already in the works
SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT HEIST
Amy originally wasn't going to work on this project until they went to Texas; she became Creative Producer once Mark put himself into too many places
Iba originally auditioned for the man in the burning truck, but his voice was so good he became the seer/guide
The project has been "cooking" since May
The next project would be a completely different project, not a continuation
SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT HEIST
Regular uploads start again tomorrow (7/11/19)

StarKid Homecoming Review 7-25-19 Show.
WARNING THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR STARKID HOMECOMING. IF YOU WANT THE SHOW TO BE A SURPRISE PLEASE GO BACK NOW, BECAUSE ONCE YOU START READING THERE IS NO GOING BACK.
This review is what I can remember because my mind is jumbled.
Before the show even started I was able to meet the amazing Corey Lubowich who I just said thank you to for everything he does and got a picture with him. (Thank you Corey!) I also got to say hi to Tessa Netting who I’ve followed for years and took a photo with her. She’s the sweetest!
Okay so Act 1: Darren came out and did a intro. Then they started with the most recent musical
TGWDLM: it was amazing! Also in TGWDLM Mariah sang Jamie’s part but we soon would see why because Jamie slayed “it is time to die!!” The screams for that OMG, then Robert did Show Stopping Number and the audience lost their cool. He was so amazing!!
On to Firebringer: I liked seeing the vine (“I don’t really wanna do the work today”) performed live (lol) and it was neat but I honestly know nothing about the show except the work today song and “the duck is Lord” so I was confused a bit. I need to watch Firebringer. They also performed the finale song.
TTO- they sang Gone to Oregon which was great and then they did Naked In A Lake which made me so happy because it is my favorite song from TTO, then they did Speed Run and OMG how they managed to sing and dance just WOW.
Ani- We got to hear Mark, Clark and Nick Gage sing which was awesome!! Meredith was in this one too. I loved Ani and it’s one of my favorites so I was glad it got some love. They performed Ani, With My Own Eyes and Back on Top.
Twisted - they did No One Remembers Achmed including the infamous Tiger F***er and when Robert said that cheers were so loud, then one of my favorite Starkid girls Britney Coleman came out and sang a thousand and one nights with freaking Carlos Valdes!! I screamed so loud because I love the Flash and I was so excited to see him! Then Dylan, Rachel and Jeff sang Happy Ending.
Holy Musical B@tman- Nick Gage sang the title song (Holy Musical Batman) solo which was so nice I liked seeing him get some of the spotlight. They did Rogues Are We which I love and Super Friends with Nick Gage as Robin instead of Nick Lang because I assume Nick L. didn’t want to perform because he is in charge of everything. (LOL)
Starship- Mariah and Alex Paul dueted Status Quo and it was beautiful, then Dylan came out and did Kick It Up a Notch which I cheered so loud about (Sorry other fans for that) and then they did I Wanna Be and Brant came out and I lost my cool again and cheered loudly.
MAMD - MAMD Joey acted very dramatic before beginning the song which was hilarious, Joe W. came out running dropped the mic and sprained his ankle in the process, then AJ sang listen to your heart and my heart soared (I love AJ.) and then Ali Gordon and Alle-Faye came out and sang part of Ready to Go then everyone came out and joined in for the song that is how they ended Act 1.
There was a fifteen or so minute intermission before Act 2. Before Act 2 began Nick Lang came out to introduce the second half of the show. You all I cheered so loud for him, it is not a secret on here that I love Nick Lang. So I was happy to see him (I also saw him talking to Matt before the show and waved at him when he looked my way, but I am not sure he saw me. It was pretty dark.)
Alright you all I don’t remember the exact order they were in but we have reached The Potter Musical part of Homecoming. Are you ready? We are about to Go Back To Hogwarts.
As I said Nick Introduced Act 2 which was everything Harry Potter related and Nick told us thank you for the support and that he loved us. (WE LOVE YOU NICK!!)
GBTH - Darren came out and the cheers were so loud. He began singing the song and everyone was singing along which was magical. Then Joey came out and my ears hurt from how loud everyone cheered they sang their voice and did the floo powder power arm waves then the amazing Bonnie entered and OMG the cheers for her were so loud and went on so long they had a hard time starting again. It made me cry to see how much love Bonnie got. Then Lauren came out and sang Draco’s part I was kinda gutted they didn’t sing the Cho Chang part since Tyler was there to do his part but oh well. After Lauren sang everyone came out on stage and Dylan entered from the back of the theater and WOW he held that note for welcome so long. Amazing!!! Darren said something about never being able to find the swimming pool and Tyler did his infamous “Hufflepuff’s are particularly good finders” which got major cheers and I barely heard Dylan’s reply. The energy just got GBTH was so amazing. Truly magical I got goosebumps!!
After GBTH they sang Harry Freaking Potter which is always amazing & sadly I don’t remember much from this part.
After Harry Freaking Potter I do not remember what order the sang the songs in and I do apologize for that. I do remember what they sang however. I do know the two finale numbers and the end but that’s coming in a few more paragraphs.
Darren came out after one of the songs with his guitar and had us sing with him because he could not remember the words to “Cho Chang” the line “Wanna take you up to Winnipeg that’s in Canada” was so loud and Darren was like “Alright you guys know this song.” After that he sang The Dragon Song which he really hates some of the lines he wrote. All of us in the Audience sang the “la, la, la’s.” Did I mention Darren hates some of this song?
After the Dragon Song Darren took his guitar and went back to stand near the band and Lauren and Joey came out and so begins Granger Danger. Joey and Lauren shook hands before the song began and Lauren during the second “What? What the hell is this?” part when she and Joey are overlapping looked down at her crotch like in the show, I was laughing at that. She kills it with her acting and her voice.
Bonnie came out and sang part of The Coolest Girl before being joined by Meredith and they dueted the rest of the song and it was beautiful. Also two bada** Hermione’s on stage together. LOVE IT.
Darren sang To Have a Home which made me tear up. I relate to that song so much and was just thinking of how much StarKid truly means to me during this song. We all were home together in a theater in L.A. watching people we love do what they love. I get chills from thinking about this part. This was truly the part of the show were I thought to myself HOLY CRAP I AM ACTUALLY HERE. (Apologies to the guy sitting next to me for my crying.)
Brian R. and Joe W. came out and sang Different as Can Be complete with the back to back part. That was awesome and I love Joe and Brian’s voices so I was so excited to see them sing together.
Joe W. came out and sang To Dance Again and everyone clapped and sang along, I loved Joe’s energy during this song because even with a injury he was dancing around the stage and doing the Voldemort jumps etc. He gets major props for that. Also Brian R. and Darren came out during the “On your feet” part and Darren did all the dances Brian sang and at the final chorus he Brian R. and Joe W. did a kickline together. I DIED.
Tyler came out and I lost my voice cheering for him. (and Nick and Jon) I’ve been dying to see Tyler perform since the very beginning and he is one of my favorites and way back when my friend and I briefly ran the Tyler Brunsman Street Team. Tyler of course sang Guys Like Potter with Joe Moses joining in of course. You all I know I am repeating myself but this was magical, I love this song and Tyler and Joe M. so I was in awe.
AJ Holmes turned after one of the songs to the audience to say “enough about this Potter boy their should be w new wizard” or something along that line I can not remember word for word and someone shouted “what is your fantasy” and he did the entire Gildroy becoming a mouse Prince monologue. I loved it so much and was dying of laughter. Especially when he shouted at us “WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?” AJ then sang Wizard of the Year complete with the female backup. I loved hearing AJ sing.
Joey came out and sang Sidekick. When he sang “Am I the hottest?” he got the biggest scream and it was so funny to hear him sing “No I’m not” after that.
Jamie came out and began singing Not Alone with Darren, Joey and Bonnie joining her during the song. This is another song that hits me right in the feels. I truly believe this is a StarKid anthem because I know I’ve felt alone a lot in life and this song has gotten me through so many bad times. StarKid has gotten me through bad times. One of my favorite parts of the show.
Brian R and Robert came out and dueted Everything Ends and were joined by the whole cast. The mood for this song was very somber and this song is just so moving.
The whole cast came out and did Voldemort is Going Down and even had us stomp our feet in time with them during the song so Joe Walker could hear it in the back and be scared.
Sadly this is the last song and it was of course Days of Summer. Just watching everyone dance together and sing along was a joy. Then Darren invited us to all stand on our feet and join in for one more singing of Going Back to Hogwarts with them. I screamed Ravenclaw really loud to make my fellow Ravenclaw’s proud. After that it was time for the bows and everyone clapped and cheered and Brian R. stayed on stage with his fist raised for a long time, so Nick Lang came out and was all “Brian the show is over Voldemort is dead we won.” something along that line. Then Brian goes “dead?” mimes skipping a rock and sinks to his knees. About that time Joe W. came out and they did the whole “Is okay good part” then rang to each other and stood back to back before being joined by the whole cast singing Not Alone again and then we sang GBTH again and the show was over. We all clapped and cheered for a long time and AJ and Clark had to wave us out of the theater.
All in all it was an amazing night and I will never forget it. I am sure I am forgetting some things that happened and I do apologize for that. Thank you StarKid for an amazing ten years, I love and adore each and everyone of you. I can not wait for what is next.
All My Love,
Jo

How You Get The Girl
Request: Could you do a Tyler Seguin imagine where he meets you at the All Star game where you're performing at? Maybe Jamie or another player introduces you?
A/N: So I got a little carried away with this one. And honestly, I don’t know how I feel about the ending. I could probably write forever about this man. He’s just such a fine specimen.
I hope I was able to capture the idea you had. I had some writer's block today and had some trouble coming up with the story line.
I’m very much down to write more about this man. Seriously.
Word Count: 2392
Warnings: Cursing...probably.
Song Credits: How You Get The Girl; Taylor Swift
You had been in your kitchen, in your pajamas eating cookie dough from the container when you got the call.  This year you would be performing at the NHL All Star Game. You spent the next fifteen minutes was spent dancing around your kitchen with your cat.
“Puck Mumma is going to perform at the All Star Game!” You say kissing his nose. “Do you wanna call Uncle Jamie with me?”
You open your mac and bring up Skype. Within a couple rings, Jamie’s face appears on the screen. “Puck!” He exclaims. “And (Y/N)! To what do I- Hold on.”
“Who are you talking to?” You hear in the background. “Uh no one Seggy.” Jamie replies. “Who’s Puck? Who’s (Y/N)?” “A cat. Leave me alone. I’m busy.” You hear Jamie yell. Then some shuffling before Jamie’s face returns to the screen.
“Sorry about that. Seggy’s over.” He explains. “Seggy?” You laugh. “I will never, ever understand you hockey boys and your nicknames.” “So you must have some exciting news. Puck looks like he’s been subjected to a little too much affection for his taste.” Jamie raises an eyebrow. “So are you going to tell me or do I have to beg? You wouldn’t make Jordie beg.”
“Because Jordie is my second favourite, next to Juice.” You let out a laugh at his face. “But no, you don’t have to beg…this time.” “Well?” He prompts after a few seconds of silence. “I’m performing at the All Star Game the year!” You exclaim. Puck sees his opportunity and jumps down, running away. “What?” Jamie jumps up knocking his computer over. “Oh sorry. But that’s amazing. Then I’ll be seeing you sooner than I thought.” “You will. Are you ready to represent the Central Division?” You ask. “Yeah, it’s going to be Seggy and from the Stars.” He rubs his neck. “You’re going to do great.”
Jamie’s POV
“Why are you so secretive all of a sudden?” Tyler asked. “I’m not. What are you talking about?” Jamie evaded. “That.” Tyler pointed at Jamie. “That is what I’m talking about. Dude, you got a secret girlfriend we don’t know about or something?” “What? No.” Jamie denies shaking his head. “See that makes me really think you do. Is she pretty?” Tyler made eyes at Jamie. “Yes, she’s pretty. No, she’s not my girlfriend.” Jamie says monotone. “Can we just go to the rink?”
Tyler was pissed. He didn’t understand why Jamie would keep something like this from him. Jamie felt bad. Really bad, but his friendship with (Y/N) wasn’t ever something either of them were too public with. Mostly because every guy (Y/N) even looked at she was suddenly dating. Jamie agreed it was better if they didn’t go around screaming their friendship to the world.
Jamie almost let it slip a few times. The first was when Tyler threatened to hack his computer. But Jamie knew wouldn’t be able to hack it so he relaxed.
The second time was when Tyler played (Y/N)’s new song on repeat for three days. But it was a catchy song, so the secret was safe.
The most recent time was earlier today actually. And it was on the tip of his tongue. But, (Y/N) let the cat out of the bag first…and on Livestream too.

“Jamie, come watch.” Tyler was giddy. “(Y/N) is live and is announcing something.” “Yeah, she’s-“ Jamie stopped himself. “I mean, sure OK.” “Shhh,” Tyler quiets Jamie. “She’s starting.”
“Hi, there!” (Y/N) waves. “So as you all know, we’ve been super busy getting ready for tour.”
“Well, that’s not all that’s been in the works. The first thing I want to say is thank you. Thank you all for being so wonderful and nice to me. ‘How You Get the Girl’ is number one in over twenty countries. So thank you!
“So I guess you guys have earned it. My next album, min älskade titled in Swedish as a tribute to my mothers family, will be released on February 14.”
“No freaking way!” Tyler jumps up throwing his hand in the air. “New album.” “You are way too excited for this.” Jamie pulls out his phone recording Tyler doing his happy dance. “Wonder what it means?” Tyler questioned out loud. “It looks like you can comment, ask her.” Jamie points out. Tyler quickly types this question and hits send.
“Seggy91, seriously?” (Y/N) laughs. “My best friend calls his friend Seggy. How weird. Anyways, Seggy91 wants to know what the name of the album means. Well, it translates to My Beloved.” “This album is a bunch of songs that have been written, over time, and just haven’t fit on an album yet. As you can probably guess, it’s a bunch of love songs, break up songs, and a couple older songs you guys know but haven’t been released. Like ‘Showtime’.”
“MissBekaBoo wants to know when my next concert is. Well, my next concert will be opening night of tour. But, my next performance will be soon. Really soon. And the brings me to the next announcement.  On January 28, I will be performing at the NHL All Star Game.”
“Well, that’s all the time I have today. Don’t forget to tune in to watch.” (Y/N) waved to the camera and then the screen went black.
“So is there anything you want to tell me?” Tyler turned and faced Jamie. “Because that’s a pretty unique nickname for two people to have.” “Uh, I know (Y/N)?” It comes out as more of a question than a statement. “We’ve been friends since, well since forever.” “And you never thought, oh I don’t know, that maybe you should tell me?” Tyler asks sarcastically.
That was two weeks ago. Tyler was pissed. Jamie understood. He would be too if Tyler had a secret best friend, who happened to also be his celebrity crush. Jamie knew how to fix it though.
(Y/N)’s POV
“Are you ready Puck?” You ask your feline friend. “Mumma is excited. Are you excited? Are you the Prince of Meows?” “(Y/N), you’re on in 5.” Someone with a headset says. “Alright. Thanks.” You hand Puck off to your head of security and start the walk to where you are set to enter the ice.
“And now, with the very first live performance of her most recent single, (Y/N)!”
The music starts and you walk out.
“Stand there like a ghost Shaking come the rain, rain She'll open up the door And say, are you insane, -ane?
Say it's been a long six months (Oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh, oh oh) And you were too afraid to tell her what you want, want (Oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh, oh oh) And that's how it works It's how you get the girl
And then you say I want you for worse or for better I would wait for ever and ever Broke your heart, I'll put it back together I would wait for ever and ever
And that's how it works It's how you get the girl, girl, oh And that's how it works It's how you get the girl, girl…”
The performance went off without a hitch.  You take out your in ear’s and hand your mic off to your sound guy. You see Jamie walking towards you with Puck in his hands. “Jamie!” You yell. “And Puck,” Jamie adds. “You can’t forget Puck.” “Who could forget Puck.” You say taking him from Jamie. “Because he’s the best kitty in the whole world. Aren’t you Puck? Who’s the best kitty?”
“So, I actually have a favor to ask.” Jamie says taking a seat on the chair in your dressing room. “OK? Why are you being weird Jamie?” You say taking your shoes off. “I might have kept the fact that we’re friends from Seggy…” Jamie trails off. “And well, he's a little upset with me. But I’m sure if you-“ “You kept me a secret from Seggy? Oh, the horror.” You say dramatically and put your hand on your head. “Let’s go. Introduce me to this Seggy.”
“Tyler, can you come here for a second.” Jamie calls into the dressing room. “I guess.” He stands up, half dressed. “Uh, maybe throw a shirt on or something.” Jamie says walking out.
You stand with Jamie.
“You need me for something Captain?” Tyler says pulling a shirt on. “Yeah, I’d like you to meet my other best friend. (Y/N).” “Holy shit.” “(Y/N) actually.” You laugh. “But hey, I’ve been called worse.” “Tyler.” He says. A blush appearing on his face. “Big fan.”
“Well, I’m not needed here. So I’ll just take Puck and go.” Jamie says. Tyler gives him a noncommittal ‘yeah, sure.’.
From Dallas Stars, Hot One: So are you coming to tonight's game?
To Dallas Stars, Hot One: The answer hasn’t changed since the last time you asked. Yes.
From Dallas Stars, Hot One: OK. And you’re going to wear my jersey, right?
To Dallas Stars, Hot One: Yes, Tyler. Are you OK? Did you hit your head?
From Dallas Stars, Hot One: I’m fine. No I didn’t hit my head.
From Dallas Stars, Hot One: But if I did, would you kiss it better?
From Dallas Stars, Hot One: Because if the answer is yes, then yes I hit my head.
To Dallas Stars, Hot One: You’re being weird again.
It wasn’t unusual for Tyler to flirt. He’d been doing it since the All Star Game. He got your number from Jamie and kept in touch.
Tonight was the last home game of the season. Tyler had been asking you since February to come to a game. This marks your tenth game since the All Star Games. Normally you’d just wear a Dallas shirt. But two weeks ago, Tyler sent you a jersey. His jersey. And since then he’d been asking you to wear it to a game instead of your normal shirt.
Obviously, you haven’t. Not yet. Because it would only start rumors. But tonight you said to hell with it and pulled the green #91 jersey on.
Tyler was one goal away from a hat trick. One goal. You were on the edge of your seat. He skated past you on his way to touch gloves with the guys on the Stars bench and gave you a wink.
Tyler was getting ready to face off in front of you. There were only 25 seconds left on the clock. The score was tied 2-2.  He caught your eye and pointed to you then to the net.
“This one is for you.” He mouthed.
He did it. He actually did it. You jumped out of your seat and cheered with the rest of the crowd. Hats flooded the ice. The camera panned to you and you were on the jumbotron, You didn’t even care about the shit storm that you would wake up to tomorrow. The Stars had won. Tyler got a hat trick.
“You did it!” You exclaimed running to hug Jamie. “You guys won! I’m so proud of you.” “Thanks (Y/N).” Jamie let you go. Tyler came up behind you, his arms wrapping around you. “What no hug for me?” His brown eye shined. “I mean, I guess you can have a hug too.” You say as though it’s a difficult task. ‘Good job out there tonight.” “Are you impressed with my amazing hockey skills? Much better the Chubbs over there right?” He asks, still holding on to you. “Yes, much better.” You agree with him. He’s still holding you. “What’s gotten into you, Ty?”
“Let’s give them some space. You've all me (Y/N) before, the novelty should have worn off by now.” Jamie says ushering everyone away from you and Tyler. “Good luck Seggy.”
“Ty, what’s going on?” You ask. “Nothing. Why do you ask?” “Well for starters, you're still hugging me.” You laugh. He blushes and let's go. “And Jamie just made everyone leave.” “I have something to tell you.” He says rubbing his neck. “Jamie’s just giving us some space. If I’m going to be embarrassing myself, the fewer people who witness it the better.” “What are you talking about?” “I like you.” He says quickly. “Well, I’d hope so. Otherwise, I need to find new friends.” “You’re not understanding me (Y/N). I like you. Like before I met you, you were hands down my celebrity crush. Ask anyone. God, it’s so embarrassing now. And then I found out that Jamie not only knew you but was friends with you.” He pauses to catch his breath. “Then Jamie introduced us. And I am so lucky I didn’t fall on my face. Because really, I wouldn’t have been surprised.”
“Ty…” This might be the best day of your life. And you have multiple Grammys.
“Please say yes.” His eyes pleading. “Please?” “Ty, you haven’t asked a question.” You laugh. “Seriously, Seggy, you’re fucking this up?” You hear Jamie yell from outside the door. “Go away Chubbs!” Tyler yells back. “Will you be my girlfriend?”
“I think I can arrange that.” You smile.
“It’s official! Guys Seggy has a girlfriend!” You hear Jamie announce. You and Tyler walk out only to be greeted by Jamie and the rest of the All Star Players.
“And that’s how you get the girl, boys.” Tyler tells the younger players. You laugh at him. He’ such a goof.
...
“You know what this means right?” You ask. “You can write lots and lots of love songs and make your army happy?” He says with a smile.  “Well, yeah that, but you know what else?” “I might have to get security?” “What?” You laugh. “Have you met your fans of the male variety? They’re going to want me dead.” “Alright, you’ve clearly thought about this.” “You have no idea.” He says pulling you close and kissing you. “You have no idea.”
“Are you guys done with the PDA? Because I want food and (Y/N) is the only one with a car.” Jamie says walking in covering his eyes.
“It’s all clear, Jam-Jam.” You say.
The three of you walk out. There are still a good number of people hanging around the arena. There are lots of signs both for you and for the various players. Tyler gets a panicked look on his face.
“It’s going to be alright.” You kiss him. Lights flash and you can hear the fans screaming. He smiles at you taking your hand. “So about that security?”

Not Safe: Part Two (C.H)
Tumblr media
warnings: religion??, cussing, not very gentleman-ly calum, cheating
a.n: here it is! not as good(and long) as i expected it to be but i needed to upload something lollolololl...
Sundays were the worst. Yes, because of church. Yes, because of school the next day. Yes, because it was Sunday. Normally church would last like 3 hours, 4 hours maximum? No. This town went all out. This town would have church in the morning from 9:30-12:30, go home to get a good little rest, maybe a little early lunch, late brunches, and then come back to church at 4:00-7:00 for evening prayer and “fun games”. Normally some teens would skip the evening session but then they’d have to go to this praying thing on Monday to make up for the time lost on that evening, depending on how chill your parents were. Some usually still had to go. There was no escaping God in this town.
It was morning prayer and here she is again, not in any juvenile band garb but in a nice frilly sundress that was threatening the topple to the ground with how thin those spaghetti straps were. Her hair was up in a tight ponytail but multiple baby hairs managed the poke out from the tens of bobby pins jammed in her hair. Her feet was already starting to hurt from the high wedges that made her look tall and presentable and not at all a slut, at least that's what her mother stated when she bought her the shoes. She straightened out the dress while staring at herself in the mirror, letting out an exhausted sigh. She looked to meet her own eyes and furrowed her eyebrows. What would it look like if she had a lot of makeup on? Like highlighter, bronzer, deep red lipstick? What if she looked like the gorgeous, curvy, promiscuous women that went to her school? “Y/N!” her mom’s frilly voice yelled from the bottom of the stairs. She caught herself rolling her eyes and still continued to roll them all the way and let out another defeated sigh. She grabbed her fancy, flowery, $120 wristlet that yes, her boyfriend bought her, and journeyed her way down the mahogany steps to meet her family already dressed up in their fancy church clothes, her mother and sister fixing their necklaces in the mirror besides the door and her brother and father fixing each other’s bowties. Her eyes met her mother’s who admired, but secretly judged, her as she made her way down slowly.
“You look beautiful, darling,” her father said, fixing the cufflinks on his blazer. She joined the rest of her family at the bottom of the steps and quickly checked the notifications that suddenly started to blow up her phone. All of them was from Dara. Her eyebrows furrowed and after giving her parents a quick “i’ll be back” glance, she stepped into the kitchen to quickly ring her friend.
“Whatever this is, can you“
“Do not go to church today!” Dara screamed, interrupting whatever she was going to say. By the loud crunching of potato chips on the other line, Dara was probably laying on the couch, catching up on some dumb reality show.
“What are you talking about?”
“Calum Hood is gonna be at the church today!” Dara screamed, the phone picking up the small cracks in her voice and the rustling of her sleeve against the mic. Calum Hood is going to church? He knows what a church is?
“How do you know this?” Y/N asked suspiciously, turning to see her family impatiently wait for her. She shook her head and quickly made her way to the car, making sure the volume was low.
“It's a long story but, Jordan asked if they could grab brunch, aka blow him from behind the school, and he said no to her, saying that he was gonna go to church today!”
“Since when does he come to church?”
“Probably after the little encounter you two had on my porch Friday night.” She could see her smug face already. Sure, their little encounter they had was…something. It was a slight touch to the cheek. A whisper in the ear. But that couldn’t have possibly encouraged him to get up and walk into church. The last time Calum Hood was seen somewhere religious, he was probably 13 and he had put out a cigarette in the holy water well that sat at the front of the church.
“Well I doubt I’ll see him. Hanging with Tyler, remember?”
“Of course. The town star!” She chuckled at the end and Y/N let out a breathy laugh herself, making her mother turn around in her seat, giving her not a disapproving look, but a look that says “get off the phone and spend time with your family.”
“I gotta let you go. I’ll talk to you after,” and Y/N quickly hung up her phone before Dara could let in a "goodbye". A couple seconds before she put her phone down, her phone received a text message and picking up, she saw the text notification from her brother.
Hanging? Or banging?
The church parking lot was full of dressed up families that come mainly just to show off their new Lamborghinis and Porsches. Friends come up to each other and they take their regular photos near the doors of the church where the red door was pure “aesthetic”. Men shout across the roads about their day and how intense the game was last night and moms get together to show off their kids and whatever new avant-garde jewelry they bought that they obviously don’t need. It was like this everyday. Everyone in this God-loving town got together and they start to tell each other things that they could say to each other on the other days, but Sundays just has to be the only day where they could talk about it. Boring, right? It was.
Y/N and her family stepped out of the family car and was immediately greeted by friends and some elderly people who have known their parents, or her grandparents. Her and her family were fairly popular in this town, considering the fact that her dad was the pastor of this church. He was loved and adored by everyone. He never got on anyone’s bad side and if everybody loved him, they obviously loved his family. She stands by the car as she watches her family ditch her and meet up with friends and neighbors. She watches her dad hurry into the old brick building with ten other elderly men chasing him at his feet as they rush to get the reception going. She watches her mom laugh as she shows off her little sister and the backflips she could do, making the other kids and their parents jealous. She watches her older brother meet with his football pals and they yell and laugh and clap hands and were just being annoying as usual. What a family. She leaned her head against the car and shut her eyes, feeling the bright sun brush her skin and the subtle flows of wind that came every few minutes. She let out a sigh and she was so distracted by the feeling of nature, she didn’t feel the car give a subtle shake and the presence that accompanied her.
“You look like you’re having fun,” a sly voice chuckled, making her jump and straighten her posture. When she whipped her head around, she met the brown eyes of Calum Hood, his mouth cigarette-free and his body not covered up in his rocker garb. He was now dressed in a white button up and black skinny jeans, accompanied with a black tie. He could have at least combed his hair.
“What are you doing here?” she exclaimed, pushing off from the car, looking around her shoulder to see if anyone found her interacting with the town's biggest disappointment.
“What? I can’t,” he placed a pair of dark sunglasses on top of his nose and pointed his head towards the church in front of him, people starting to pile in, “go to church or something?”
“You don’t go to church.” She could feel her hands getting sweatier again. Why does this keep happening? She grabbed the pastel pink cardigan that was draped around her shoulders and wrapped it around herself, suddenly feeling insecure.
“You get to decide that?” His lips formed a smirk, as his hand reaches to her arm to pluck a piece of lint off the fabric. She could feel the warmth in his hands through the cloth, as his fingertips lightly grazed her arm. The feeling was replaced as she felt a strong hand wrap around her waist and pull her body into a warm, almost hot, and buff body.
"You ready to go, sweetheart?" She heard Tyler's voice whisper into her ear as he jolted to her side. She didn't meet his eyes but she nodded and turned her head away from Calum. She started to walk but she didn't feel Tyler move. She felt his hand tighten around her hip and pull her closer, almost as if he was about to enclose her in a cage made of his arms.
"How you doing, Hood?" Tyler remarked, his head nodding towards Calum as he clicked his tongue against his teeth. Calum chuckled as he watched Tyler wrap his arms around her like a boy grasping a teddy bear and he chuckled and shook his head as he watched her try her best not to make any eye contact.
"Never been better." He lifted himself off the car and turned around, walking off in the opposite way, his chuckles still heard within ear shot as he chucked a toothpick into the freshly mown grass.
The light practically burned her eyes as she walked out of the church, the bright light she hasn't seen in 3 hours making her cold skin tremble and shudder. The reception was still going on but she quickly excused herself when her head started to feel heavy and dizzy. It was best to just step outside and get fresh air before she had to spend another 1-2 hours hearing about how we are sheep and how God is the sheepherder. She slowly made her way down the steps and turned around the banister of the stairs and leaned her body against the wall that was built to make the stairs more pleasing. Her feet were hurting, her head was pounding, and this dress was making it impossible to lift her arms or else the straps would snap and the entire town would get a glimpse. Her eyes closed as the wind finally started to pick up and she felt almost relaxed until a shadow blocked the sun from her view. Although it was comforting, she wanted to see who or what was large enough to cover the sun and when she opened her eyes, she saw the last thing she ever wanted to see.
"Looks like ya missed me," he chuckled, his teeth chewing at the black lip ring. Was that there before? He was back in his normal getup; a black Led Zeppelin shirt with torn jeans and Converse. God forbid anyone that takes a glance at him.
"Yes. I crave you every second of every day," she rolls her eyes and tilts her head the other way, squinting to block her vision from the blinding sun. She can hear the chuckles that echo in his throat as he leaned against the wall with her, their arms barely touching. She quickly crossed her arms against her figure, not even caring that the strap of her dress dared to fall off her shoulder.
"God, you're a fucking sight," he whispers through his teeth. She quickly spins to meet his eye, not surprised at the fact that he used God's name in vain, but the fact he had the audacity to say something like that to her. He smirked at her reaction and subtlety nodded his head, chuckling as he turned from her eyes.
"Why are you following me?" She admitted, pushing off the wall to face him, trying to get his attention. He smirks and he turns to meet her eyes, the only noise between them was the sound of their breathing and the rustling of the leaves of the trees beside them. He couldn’t help but gaze at how incredibly sexy she was, how she was trying to show off how fucking innocent she is when really inside, he could tell she was craving for something deeper than good boy Tyler Gibbs. His bottom lip makes its way in between his teeth, sucking in a deep breath before speaking up.
“Maybe I can’t get enough of you,” he sighs, straightening his posture so that he towered over her. She was taken back at how much taller he suddenly was that she didn’t even notice he had stepped up to her, the top of their shoes barely touching. His hand moves to her shoulder and the warmth that radiates off his tattooed hand gives her goosebumps all the way down to her toes. He slips his fingers underneath the small white spaghetti strap and he gazes up at her, practically feeling how turned on she was.
Jesus what was this feeling? Her stomach started to bubble and her arms felt useless, like she couldn’t even lift up a finger from where she crosses her arms across her chest. Her breathing became louder and quicker as his hands slightly grazed her shoulder as he lifted the spaghetti strap to readjust it.
“Wouldn’t want the town to see what is mine,” he whispers into her ear, his lips grazing the edge and his fingers delicately drawing patterns into her tense shoulder. What’s his? She was taken out of her lustful trance and pushed him back into the brick wall, scoffing at his delinquent behavior.
“I am not yours, asshole,” she angrily muttered, straightening her dress before making her way back to the church. He had the audacity to call her his? He was nothing but a rude fuckboy who doesn’t know how to stop. Angry thoughts that God and her parents wouldn’t approve of ran through her head. Asshole, fucker, fucktard, shit head, nuisance —
“But you’re fine with being Tyler’s?” He yelled after her, not moving from where he was, his shoulder a little sore from where she pushed him. He chuckled at how she slowly turned around and glared at him.
“I am not anyone’s property. I am not yours, Tyler’s, anybody’s.”
“He treats you as though you are his property,” he says, clearing his throat, sticking a toothpick in between his teeth.
“Why do you think you have the right to stick your nose into other people’s business?” She was in front of him again, but this time she glared at him with the darkest death stare, her finger poking at his chest. It was soft and hard at the same time. He snickered at her and shook his head, leaning against the concrete wall as she came along with him, her finger digging deeper in his chest.
“He holds you like no one else is allowed to touch you, yet he hasn’t touched you himself,” his hands now rest in his jean pockets, “he speaks to you as if you were a dog ready for a command to get your treat, but you never get it. And,” he takes in a deep breath and drops his head, giggling to himself. Jesus, what was this kid on? Why is everything so funny to him? “and you’re oblivious to the fact that he has already had sex.”
Her finger drops to her side, her eyebrows furrowing at the last statement Calum made about Tyler. What was he talking about? His smirk grows, his eyes hooded, feeling the weed from the joint he smoked earlier starting to settle in. God, she is so fucking beautiful and so perfectly naive.
She could see the redness around his eyes and the smile that started to grow like he was about to giggle again. Of course. He’s high. He doesn’t know what the fuck he’s saying.
“You need help,” she mutters, shaking her head. When she is about to turn to make her way back into the church to meet her family who is probably worried about her, or not, who knows, he grabs her wrist and turns her back to meet him, but he pulls her into his chest so she was practically laying against him. Their hips aligned perfectly with each other and the slight graze of her ass that came from his hand sent shivers up her spine.
“You don’t believe me?” he mutters, almost as if he was saddened by her disapproval. She tried her best to fight her way out of his arms but he was definitely not letting go.
“You’re high, Calum, let me go.” She tried her best to wiggle her arms out from where they were squished by both of their chest, but he wasn’t budging. He wouldn’t let her go.
“Tyler Gibbs,” he chuckled at the name, his eyes trying to meet yours, “is just as big as a fuckboy as I am, darling.” She stops struggling as her eyes met his big brown ones, decorated with red alongside the edges. What the fuck was he talking about? Why can’t he just spit it out? He notices the confusion in her face and hold her tighter, afraid that he what he was about to say next would scare her off. She was probably already scared but this feeling of her rubbing up against his crotch, centimeters away from touching each other, just made him go crazy and he couldn’t let her go.
“A week ago,” he stutters, “Tyler Gibbs walks into this party one of my friend’s were throwing. Completely threw us on our asses that the town good boy and a bunch of his friends were looking for some fun from us. He walks through the crowd, already drunk, and he just straight up, grabs a girl from out of town and starts to rub himself on her. God, the way he just rubbed up on her ass, the way his eyes hooded over—“
“Stop it,” she demanded. Okay now she was getting upset. Not really sure at who or what. At Calum, because he was probably lying. At Calum again because he let Tyler do that. At Tyler, because he did what he did. At herself, being so stupid to save herself for a guy that didn’t care about her. Her arms came up to push off of Calum but his grip continued to get tighter, enclosing her and holding her tighter as she struggled off of him.
“And then he took her to a nearby closet and that’s where you could hear,” he pauses, his voice entirely calm as he held Y/N against him, not even caring that she was probably bruising him from her punches, “precious town good boy, Tyler Gibbs, rip off this girl’s dress and the moans—“ She slapped him. She had finally managed to wiggle her arm out from the grip and slapped him on his cheek, making him shut the fuck up. He completely let go of her and she stumbled back on her feet, her eyes beginning to tear. His gaze turned angry and annoyed and right when he was about to call her rude names to intentionally hurt her, his eyes turned soft, his angry figure softening as he saw tears start to form in her now red eyes, her body shaking from either the truth or the fact that he literally held her against her will. What the fuck was wrong with him? He would never touch a girl like this, so when he realized he just did, he mentally slapped himself in the face.
“Go to hell,” she spat at him, quickly fixing her dress before dashing up the stairs, back into the large church.
Calum was completely sobers up at this point. Normally, he would shrug of those kinds of comments; “go to hell”, “asshole”, etc. But today, when she muttered those words back to him, he felt a pang of hurt in his stomach. Like someone had just punched him square in the gut, and trust me, he knew exactly what that felt like. He looked around and nobody was to be seen. No one saw that the town bad boy was just slapped by the town good girl. No one saw that he held the town good girl against his will and made her cry. He cleared his throat and went on his way, ignoring the flutter in his stomach that was aching for him to turn the fuck around.
