I don't think I've ever shared this here. This is not in fact an alternative Trigun Stampede opening. It's just "When I'm Gone" by Where Giants Fall over the Trigun Stampede opening minimally edited. It's crazy how much it fits Vash.
Everyday of Trigun's Eyeshine 10 day week your art/writing prompt will be, you guessed it, a song by Eyeshine!
Eyeshine is a band fronted by Vash's English dub voice actor, Johnny Yong Bosch. If you like this, maybe in a month or so we'll have "Where Giants Fall week", for his newer band!
Q: How do we draw an art prompt based off a song?
A: You can use the lyrics as inspiration for a scene, a comic, or pick just one of the songs from the whole week and make an animatic if you're bold ;)
Don't forget to use the hashtag #TrigunsEyeshineWeek
watching the sdcc panel and i am just very :) about how sweet their answers to “what are some of the micro moments from the game that have stuck with you the most over the years?” are. taliesin saying what the fuck is up with that which was the first like The Party Gets To Know Each Other moments of c3. travis saying asking his wife if he could kiss her in campaign. marisha going way back to the cannonball competition in campaign one. ashley choosing the beauyasha date but also just the silly goat noise matt made. liam adding onto that to compliment matt roleplaying grass so well and then saying his favourite moment was writing a story for laura and reading it to her as caleb for jester. and then matt saying that was his answer, and that his favourite moments of the game are when they find ways to give gifts to each other whether tangible or not. and sam saying his favourite moments have less to do with the story and is more so when he can just. see his friends across the table from him. when marisha perches and when laura and ashley are (badly) drawing dicks and liam saying he loves when sam sneezes and ashley tells him to stop it and just. yeah. they Are an extremely popular online powerhouse, but i’m so happy that they’re also friends building a world together out of gifts to and love for one another.
like i Am so enamoured with the characters and the world of exandria but the moments when you can feel the love that those people have for each other reach out from behind the stained glass of their performances (to steal a metaphor from brennan lee mulligan) are so extremely special and i am endlessly grateful that they decided to share their silly little home game with the world.
“queer spaces should be inclusive of people who don’t enjoy sex and who have “strange”, negative or repulsed relationships with sex” and “sex is an important aspect of lgbt community, history, and activism and queer people should be allowed and able to talk freely about sex without stigma or shame” are ideas that can and should coexist.
but like maybe bill had a point if i saw a man that wasn't yet infected w The Horrors but was very clearly intending to run headlong into them I'd snatch him up and ruin him for anyone else too
oc idea where a sleepy girl is constantly pulling all nighters to get assignments done so when shes asleep shes out for the night. the borrower in the house gets too used to that fact and tries going for her coffee and sleepy girl wakes up
I’ll color this eventually but omg Raya’s almost foot taller than John after she becomes a IV
So lore wise, braiding her hair is very important to Raya since it’s the only form of affection she remember from her mother [her relationship with her parents was complicated]. ODST!John tries but it always send her into a fit of giggles after he’s done
But in the actual storyline, it takes the Chief three tries and he gets it down, but that’s a story for another time and a drawing for a different day.
To those who watched 98!Trigun & Trigun Stampede in English, did you know you can hear Vash singing about his feelings and what he goes through in Trigun? Like, literally? Here you go.
BTW newbie Trigun fans, Johnny Yong Bosch, who voices Vash in both the dubs, is a singer. His old band is called Eyeshine, and his new one is called Where Giants Fall. You can find both on YouTube.
also a Dirk Gently WIP whenever just for kicks. from the ongoing Forces Unseen sequel

“Holy shit,” Todd said, hearing Dirk come in through the door he’d left propped open. “Did you know we can see the Washington Monument from here?”
Dirk joined him at the window and wrapped an arm around his middle from behind. He was suddenly feeling a bit clingy, like he was going to need to front load all the cuddles he could get, which was abjectly ridiculous. Todd had never shied away from that, if anything it was Dirk who’d been jumpy lately about tender little moments like this. Still, Dirk couldn’t shake the feeling that he’d be wanting more of this later but might not be able to get it. He hooked his chin over Todd’s shoulder and squinted out the window, not sure what Todd was referring to.
“The bloke on the penny’s house?” he asked, not seeing it. “I don’t think he lives in DC anymore, Todd.”
“What?” Todd asked, pulling back a little to look at him before pointing at a large lit-up obelisk surrounded by illuminated American flags. “No, that. I’ve only ever seen it in movies, National Treasure didn’t prepare me for the real thing.”
“Ohhh,” Dirk said, comprehension dawning as he held Todd close to his front. “You mean the giant pencil statue.”
“The giant—Dirk, that’s the Washington Monument. As in George Washington? It doesn’t even look like a pencil.”
“Doesn’t look much like George Washington either,” Dirk mused, and whatever retort Todd had been about to fire back was interrupted by the sharp trill of Dirk’s phone.
