Week 13 - Landscape Panoramic

I’m submitting this, even though I know it does not fit the rules of the weekly challenge. It was not taken this week, but in August 2016 at Coca Cola Park, Allentown, PA while attending an Iron Pigs baseball game. The storm rolling in was just too spectacular…never saw anything like it.

Week 3: Artistic Ice

Taken with my iPhone 6 while sitting in my car in the middle of the road.

On the way to one of my favorite picture taking spots, the road is narrow and winding with no place to pull over. I passed this once and had to circle around to get there again. Would love to go back and try lighting some sections from behind with my Litra Torch fitted with some colored gels.

Not “artistic” on my part, but I found it beautiful.

Taken at Lock Ridge Furnace Park in Alburtis, PA. An old iron furnace with many interesting opportunities for this week…but the arches are a favorite.

Week 31 - Landscape in B&W

Seven hours in the car today, driving out and back to visit a friend, and my picture comes from one of my favorite places fifteen minutes from home.

Very nice composition and I think I see a little cross processing in the tone.  It works really well for this scene @whereanglesgo-troublefollows!

Week 26 Challenge: Lost, Abandoned, Forgotten

It was a beautiful peony. The palest of pink, cut from the garden and lovingly brought inside. It was used in a photo that appeared on Tumblr and it graced my kitchen table for a few days after that. When it’s beauty started to fade, I set it outside at the edge of the garden, unable to toss it in the trash. It deserved better…and still looks beautiful…though different ❤️

Catalpa bignonioides. Commonly called Indian Bean Tree. A native American tree with orchid like blooms. Their fragrance is heavenly ❤️
