#which Thor 1 Loki has in abundance
worstloki · 3 years
Note
Ok, so, I did the math, and if both frost giants and asgardians are 3 times denser than humans and Loki weighs 525 pounds, that is the human equivalent of 175 pounds. Which is actually very average for someone of his height. Loki gets made fun of for being a twink when really he's just normal lmao
loki doesn’t get made fun of for being a twink he gets made fun of for not being a beefy beefcake because that’s what asgard believes is the ideal male body type

Clint: wbu Steve?

Bucky: I think I may be having a midlife crisis.
Tony: okay 1. You’re 20 and 2. You shouldn’t have gone an’ knocked up a woman at 17
Nat: Tony!
Bucky: You’re acting like you didn’t get some at 17 Tony
Bruce: he has a fair point.
Nat: and anyway Riley’s too pure for your insults Tony
Bucky: uwu
Tony: you have officially turned into every teenage girl Barnes
Nat: anywayyyyyyy, Thor how’re you coping with your brother’s “phase”
Tony: I am starting to think Loki’s goth phase isn’t just a phase Natalie, I caught him walking around in a skull T-shirt with chains this morning
Clint: oh daym
Steve: what are you going to do?
Thor: I am going to show that I respect him by buying him some flowers!
Clint: What abt a chain tho?
Nat: wait, does anyone wanna go to laser tag at some point?
Tony: oooh yes!
Bruce: yeah I’m down! :)
Steve: I’ve got time yeah thanks
Bucky: I never back down from a laser tag game
Nat: great! I’ll book it with Tony’s card
Tony: wait what?
Bucky: oh shit, I’ve gotta go, Riley’s just run away somewhere brb
Clint: oh damn.
Bucky shoved his phone hastily into his pocket and looked around, desperation filling his eyes as they searched for any sign of his daughter. The bushes swayed with the evening breeze and very few people strolled around campus, either going on a walk, meeting up early with friends or getting food. The young adult heavily sighed out of relief when he caught sight of Riley, excitedly chatting to a man, who James quickly identified him as one of his other friends, Sam.
Braking out into a light jog, he made his way across campus to the pair while also trying to avoid bumping into the other students that were now staring at him, in college he was basically known as the fuck boy. Not that he was, the only reason behind it was that he had a daughter at 17 and everyone apart from his friends never saw past that.
“What’re you doing here munchkin?” He asked the small girl who was now shyly smiling at her father. Sam chuckled at the duo and turning his attention away from Riley, “wasn’t her fault dude, just telling me how she’s going to chemistry class tomorrow, can’t wait to see that” he said with a sly smirk on his face.
Bucky mentally sighed, yes it was going to be very tough tomorrow. Not only was she very restless, but she also was very talkative and wouldn’t put a filter on around people older than her, which most of the time could be very offensive. “Yeah! I promised him I’ll be good!”
“Oh really? Well I kinda hoped you’d have something to say to Professor Demon”
“Sam,” he groaned and ran a hand through his hair “his names Damon, if he caught you sayin’ that then we’d get suspended so quickly dude” Riley giggled and looked up at her dad innocently “and then we’d go poor because you suck at getting jobs”
“He sucks at everything” Sam mumbled, earning a glare from the other man. “We better go get some food now, there’s literally nothing in the fridge except a can of tuna, some ketchup and packets of sour sauce from takeout awhile ago”
“Oof man”
The walk to the diner that he had decided on going to after he couldn’t be bothered going grocery shopping was a long one. Riley insisted on stopping for every dog they saw, to ask to stroke it. “Ri’ baby, we can’t keep stopping, we gotta get back to the dorm before it’s your bedtime”
The pout she sent him instantly melted his heart before he realised she knew exactly what she was doing and he readjusted his grip on her hand so she didn’t end up running away again like she did earlier.
-
“Ri’ what do you want?” He asked the child once the waitress had come over asking for their orders. She gave a nonchalant shrug and turned her attention back to the video that was playing on Bucky’s phone that he had given her for the wait. “M’kay so, can we get a,” he took a pause to take a quick glance at the kid’s menu on the table “chicken nuggets and chips please with… chocolate milkshake?”
Riley nodded and the waitress, who from the name tag on her apron, was named Elizabeth, began to write down both his and her order but halfway through gave a quick glance up to Bucky, but when he caught her cheeks flooded red that made his daughter snort.
“Is that all sir?”
“Riley shut up” he quietly told the girl as Elizabeth walked away with her head down. “She was flirting with you dad” she laughed making him jokingly nudge her across the table “Oi, and anyway she’s not my type munchkin”
“Well don’t be too loud, the creeps staring at you dad”
He didn’t mean to, but without thinking his head whipped round to instantly make eye contact with the woman who was biting her lip, her eyes now as big as plates. His cheeks heated furiously as he immediately turned back around to face his adorable giggling daughter. “You better like those chicken nuggets munchkin cause I’ve got to go through this to get them”
“I will dad, I like chickens”
-
“Riley, come on you gotta get some sleep” he groaned once she’d slid onto the sofa where he was writing his assignment last minute for the fifth time that night.
“But dad,” She whined and pulled on the sleeve of the college logo sweater he had pulled on without even thinking about it once they’d got home as he had only just realised he had a paper to write, “I’m not tired and I don’t want to be alone”
His eyes softened at the pleading look on her face that would get him to do anything she wanted him to “m’kay baby, how about we go into into the bedroom and you try to get some sleep while I finish this up”
She nodded enthusiastically and he picked up the study books and paper in one hand and Riley in the other, deep eye bags could be found on his face from the lack of sleep that he had spent pulling all-nighters working on college work and began to make his way into the small room that had a single bed pressed up against the wall with a mattress next to it, an abundance of blankets on both.
He set the small girl onto the single bed and lowered himself down into the smaller one, using the bed frame to press his back against and using a hardback book underneath the paper to rest on.
“Why do people stare at you?” Bucky only just heard Riley mumble as her eyes struggled to keep open. He stopped writing but kept his hand in the same place while grinder his teeth, wondering what to say. “Cause baby… people don’t really think that I should have you this young,” he struggled to find the words as he felt his daughter roll onto her back to listen “but they don’t understand that I love you a lot, don’t I munchkin?”
Riley giggled behind him and uttered a small yes. “At least they haven’t tried to take me away again”
The young man's breath hitched in the back of his throat at the memory flashed through his mind. They’d been watching a movie with Steve after their classes and a knock had sounded on the door.Apparently, Child services had been called by one of the students and they tried to take her away but he wouldn’t let them, they had threatened to take him to court because the living settings were not meant for a child but 17-year-old Steve had calmly spoken to them outside the room while James had been on the edge of a panic attack inside.
“Yeah, scared me Ri’” his horse voice answered back making her eyebrows scrunch in confusion “I’m not going anywhere dad. Well, unless I die but y’know”
He sent her a bitch face look over his shoulder which made her uncontrollably giggle. Bucky chuckled and set his attention back to the essay while absent mindedly talking to her about random things.
“Is Loki gonna be at the laser tag place?” She asked and added on excitedly “oooh can I come dad?!”
“Sure doll, let me tell the guys”
Buck: we got plus ones on this laser tag thing?
Bruce: whyyyy??
Thor: oooh if that is the case I would very much like to take my brother!
Nat: oh are you bringing Riley then?
Buck: yup
Steve: I don’t see why not
Tony: I’m off to speak to this really hot girl
Clint: what that spice girl?
Buck: do you mean pepper?
Clint: ah yes!
He chuckled at the screen and chucked his phone to the side while looking up to his daughter on the bed above him, going to tell her they approved before stopping and smiling to himself as he caught sight of her peaceful, sleeping form.
Without waking her up, he got off the mattress and tucked in the blankets, quietly laughing as he retrieved the earbuds she had borrowed in the diner from her pocket. “Night munchkin”
-
Bucky groaned as the ringing of his phone awoke him, the technology next to his ear from when he had fallen asleep sat up. “Wha’?”
It was so early in the morning that he didn’t even have the energy to think of a proper sentence, never mind say one.
Steve: hey guys make sure your ready, it starts an hour after school
Clint: Steve. School. Finishes. At. 6. Pm. What. Tf. Do. You. Mean. It. Starts. In. An. hour. After.
Nat: we thought you could do with a late start
Tony: fuck you Romanoff
Clint: ten bucks says she’s smirking rn
Buck: ughhh
Bruce: I feel exactly the same way
Buck: no you don’t. I spent up until 6 am doing that English essay I forgot about
Tony: oof
Bucky: I will physically be running on caffeine this morning so be ready
He took a look around the messy room before deciding he would clean it another day and raised himself onto his feet before making sure Riley was still on the single bed asleep. He made his way to the tiny kitchen that held a mini-fridge, microwave, kettle and an oven with two counters on one side to make himself a cup of coffee that he was depending on if he had to spend an hour of his day running around in sweaty gear and a fake gun while making sure his daughter didn’t run away to get some sort of snack.
“Fuck” he mumbled as the loud whirring of the kettle started, sure to wake Riley up. “I’m tired” he heard a voice groan behind him, making the man whirl around, instantly making eye contact with his daughter. Sighing out of relief and returning back to the drink he was previously making. “So am I doll, yet you can’t have coffee”
He made her go get dressed and brush her teeth while he had a mental breakdown over what he was going to do about the paper he didn’t manage to finish before he fell asleep last night.
“Dad,” Bucky looked up to find Riley once again dressed in a pair of Joggers and a baggy T-shirt that she’d dragged out of the very few clean clothes in her draw “someone’s messaging your laptop”
She struggled to hold up the open device that showed multiple emails from one of his professors questioning his performance in class for the recent weeks. He inwardly cursed and took the laptop from her to begin emailing her back, choosing to ignore the insults she had thrown at him and his daughter in the middle of it.
“She is so full of-“ he stopped halfway through the sentence, noticing that Riley was sat next to him, quietly playing a YouTube video on his phone. “Whatcha watching Ri’?” He asked, his attention still focusing on trying to be professional in the email back. “c- c-“ she struggled to pronounce the word so she passed it to him.
“Commentary channels?” The man asked with a laugh, thinking about how most parents wouldn’t even let their 4 child near a video like that but yet again he wasn’t like most parents. He was 20 and had to do this alone.
“Oh yeah”
“Come on munchkin, we gotta get to first period before we’re late” he told her and grabbed his backpack to quickly shove his college things in before glancing at the digital clock on his phone and scooping Riley up so they could get there quicker.
Halfway through the panicked running across campus, the small girl decided she needed a nap and fell asleep against his shoulder, making Natalia laugh as they passed.
As soon as he arrived in the classroom he knew it was a bad idea when 11 pair of eyes fell to his, heavily panting and holding an asleep 4-year-old.
“Sir he’s late” a girl, younger than him moaned to the teacher who was now shrugging his shoulders “I don’t care”
“But professor, why’d he bring the baby?”
Bucky had enough of everyone staring at him, he readjusted the bag on his back before making his way to the back of the class, sitting in an empty seat in between Sam and Tony and placed Riley on his lap.
“That’s a good question Jaimee, Barnes?”
“Couldn’t find anyone to look after her professor” he mumbled in response, making sure to be loud enough to hear. “No babysitter?”
“Can’t afford it sir”
He didn’t once make eye contact with anyone in the room, instead putting his attention on the books that he was bringing out of his bag. “You alright man?” Tony whispered across the desk and flicked a pen at him, “Oi” Bucky hissed as the metal came in contact with the side of his head making Sam laugh loudly at him.
“Dad,” a mumble was heard quietly, making the older man look at his daughter, eyes that were previously closed were now looking up at his wide with pleading “I’m hungry”
If he was anywhere else in the world he would have sworn loudly, but right now he was in a class with 10 other students and his daughter. “Okay baby, but you're gonna have to wait for a while, we’re in my class but I’ll get you something after okay?”
She nodded and rested her hair back against his chest, making him smile slightly as he went back to taking notes of the class. “I’ve got skittles,” Sam held out the family-sized packet of sugary sweets making Riley do grabby hands towards it. Without asking Sam gave her it, earning a goofy smile from the girl. “Thank you dude but she’s literally gonna get the biggest sugar rush possible now”
“Aha, can’t wait to see that”
-
By halfway through the period Riley was already rocking back and forth on the balls of her feet, on the spot next to Bucky’s chair, his hand holding hers to make sure she didn’t run up to the front and distract everyone. “Dad, are you going to work tonight?”
“Yeah munchkin, not for long though, you can stay with Stevie. How about that?”
“Yeah, m’kay”
Suddenly the professor spoke up, directing his attention to Bucky “Barnes, the symbol Sb stands for stibium or stibnite. What is the modern name of this element?”
“That doesn’t sound like English dad” Riley loudly whispered to him, making the class laugh, “and what do you think the answer is?”
The girl pondered for a second and looked at her dad with seriousness drawn upon her features “...tell me,”
-
“Laser in the house!” Clint exclaimed in excitement once everyone had found their way to the front of campus where they’d agreed to meet.
“I like lasers,” Riley gushed while smiling brightly making most of the young adults chuckle, Loki however, did not. “Why did you have to bring me?” The man grumbled, sending a death glare towards his brother.
“Why are you dressed like that?”
“Riley no-“
“Did you go through childhood trauma to endure this?”
“Ri’ you can’t ask-“
“Why is there a child?” Loki asked as if he had only just noticed she was there. “She is Barnes’ daughter brother” Thor said and gently patted her head, making her scowl.
“You have a daughter?”
“I’ve had her for 4 years dude”
“Oh”
Steve grabbed his phone from his pocket and glanced at the time “guys we’ve gotta be there in half an hour we better get goin’”
“Alright Rogers, you really do like to keep track of time don’t you?” Tony asked and rolled his eyes making Nat nudge him in the ribs. “Tony, I’m not that old”
“You're 21, everyone else is 20 punk” Bucky teased him but stopped when he sent him a death glare. “Erm, I’m not 20.” The young girl pointed out while everyone else started making their way to the entertainment place. “Smart girl Ri’”
“Wait, do we need to decide the teams?” Bruce asked everyone once Bucky and Riley had caught up with the rest. “Ooooh,” Clint exclaimed with wide eyes “dibs on Natasha! She’s got good aim.”
“I’m gonna stick with you. Power team” Bucky whispered down to the stupidly smiling girl as she nodded furiously. By the time everyone had chosen their teammates and managed to agree, the group had arrived. “This’ll be great” Bruce sighed once they’d caught sight of the room of light-up vests with attached laser guns.
“Rules,” a middle-aged man who looked like he’d given up on life, walked into the room with a clipboard in hand “No Running, No Physical Contact, Hold Laser with Both Hands, No Climbing, Players must be careful when manoeuvring around interior arena walls, Please let us know if any of your guests suffer from the following: Asthma, epilepsy or suffer from seizures caused by fog or strobe lights.”
Everyone was quiet for a second before Steve quietly spoke up with a blush “I have asthma, sir.”
The worker took a pause and pondered for a moment, as though this had never happened in his whole 68 years of working there, “just… don’t start a fire alright?”
They all nodded in agreement, just happy that he’d been let in, and began to enter the massive room where the game was about to take place. “Right, so, let’s not rugby tackle people like you did last time,” Steve said and mostly directed it to Thor who smiled sheepishly “cause- err, there’s a kid, yeah, Riley, that’s it”
Bucky chuckled and picked up the fake laser gun as the lights began to darken, “let’s get this party started”
As soon as the words left his mouth, chaos ensured, young adults setting off running to find a place to set-up camp. As he wanted to be fast, Bucky quickly picked up Riley and began to run towards a pillar so he could hide behind it, so he’s able to get a good view of people.
“How does it work?” Riley whispered from the spot of her back pressed against his chest so she could also see and indicated towards the gun. “Gotta put your finger on the trigger” he instructed and took ahold of her index finger and brought it over to the weapon, placing the rest of her hand on the handle while her other one held the underneath of the top part, trying not to drop it.
The whole room was silent for a good 5 minutes before Bucky decided to make a move, taking hold of the collar of her jacket to gently pull her up with him. Not holding Riley’s hand as she would have ended up dropping the laser gun if she didn’t have two hands on it.
The two of them scouted out the place trying to be quiet so they didn’t get caught. Suddenly, making them jump, a loud zapping sounded in the distance, indicating that someone had found an enemy. He began to run away from the sound, after making sure his daughter was following and attempting to find somewhere to hide again but this time he didn’t find a deserted place.
“Aha!” Nat yelled and jumped out from behind a pillar while aiming the laser at Bucky’s chest. His panicked yelling and screaming filled the air as he made a run for it, completely forgetting about his teammate left behind and the rule “no running”. Suddenly, before he could brace himself his body went flying, his foot getting stuck on a stray shoe that belonged to Thor. At the same time Steve had jumped out, meaning to get the man in the chest, but instead Bucky had landed on him, using him to muffle the landing, earning an “ow man...” in return.
Bucky wanted to move, he really did, but he just couldn’t. He was in a trance, his and Steve’s baby blue eyes made eye contact, without knowing what he was doing, Steve’s body involuntarily leant up: closer to the younger man. His lips never looked more inviting, but all of a sudden a yell broke out in the room.
“Dad! Help! Nat nearly got me!”
The father scrambled up off the floor, his mind going a million miles an hour about what just happened and why it was wrong. He was his best friend. He should only see him as a friend.
Without meaning to, he ran away from him, not bothering to even spare Steve a second glance in search of his daughter, who was now cowered in one of the room's corners, trying not to get shot. Bucky chuckled slightly at the tactic and crossed the room, luckily not being noticed by Tony and Nat who were having a shoot off at each other from their opposite ends in the room.
“Nat nearly got you Ri’?”
“M’ yeah and you weren’t there.”
Guilt coursed through the mans veins as he remembered that he’d left her, but before his mind could go wondering to the events after it, he stopped himself, “sorry munchkin”
“Is’ okay, just don’t do it again dad”
He silently laughed at the sincerity in her voice and grabbed her hand to lead her away from the battle scene so they could get somebody else in the laser tag game. In quiet discussions they settled on Bruce, the one who was most likely to not be paying attention, and if he was it would still be easy to take aim without him seeing.
“Come on Ri, we got this.”

Dating a tattoo artist
Imagine: being a tattoo artist and your boyfriend being part of it
This was a fun idea I had. I hope you like it. Enjoy ❤️
Victor Creed
Tumblr media
-he is here for it
-since his loooooonnnnggg life is well long he loves to tells stories of tattoo artists he met Japan, Brazil, New York, New Zeland...
-and you can bet that he will have the most elaborate tattoo you can think of since he said so
'You want a tattoo? From me?'
'Yes, I trust you.'
'That's the problem, Vic, you could end up with a dolphin tattoo on your arm.'
'.... Well... I still trust you?'
-after that, he was a little bug just to be on your good side which you took full advantage of
Being on top, commanding him? Sure
Handing you the remote even though it's next to you? Of course
Helping you choose an outfit even though you are indecisive and he has a short fuse? Hell yeah.
-when the day came you tattooed him a small quote that described him
"Tough times never last but tough people do"
(Robert H. Shuller)
'I love it. Thank you kitten.'
Loki Laufeyson
Tumblr media
-Since he was in the cell for most of his life (in my universe that's the worst thing happening for him, he didn't die nor his mother) he doesn't know what a tattoo artist is he thinks that's an alternative art form he is supportive
-after you talk to him describing the definition of tattoos and the art behind it he is very much perplexed
'So mortals pay you to pierce their skin with black ink to paint...something????'
'Tattoo something on their skin and yes.'
'With pain in mind?????'
'Yes, and it looks awesome.'
-when he heard the story of your tattoo shop he decided to tag along to see the magic
-he saw how men and women tattooed others while they squirmed in their seats he chuckled at the sight of it
'Darling you could have told me.'
'What?'
'You torture people with the needle machines and coax them into paying you. Brilliant.'
'Suree~~~~'
-he stayed with you to help you with the pain giving without a medical license
'I'm a God. I'm above it.'
'No one is above the Inspection.'
Thor Odinson
-since his depression and weight gain he is very much informed of the world of MTV tattoo show "How far is tattoo far?"
Tumblr media
-so he very much thinks that tattoos are a stamp of disgrace
-and keeping that in mind he is frazzled why are you doing a job like that
'You are a shame barer?'
'Shame-what...? Thor! I'm not. The show is a disgrace to the tattoo world.'
'Shame~~barer~~~'
'Just come with me and spend one day and see it for yourself.'
-Thor is reluctant much to his words but still, you sat him down in the waiting lobby he chats up the customers a.k.a big muscular dudes that are already tattooed from the neck down
'So... what is your shame? What horrible deed have you done to come here?'
'Excuse me!?'
'You must be here to condemn your shame by immortalizing it with a flesh sticker.'
-at this point, the muscle dude stood up ready to attack Thor but you intervene quickly
'Marc, stop!'
-the man turned around hiding his tight fist behind his back
'Y/n, already done? That's fast.'
'Marc, you know that you were released 7 months ago and you are still on parole. Come on. Stop it.'
'He insulted me and-and my tattoos. Your tattoos. You know how am about your work.'
-Thor hears that as stands up grabbing Marc's arm examining the tattoos in amazement
'My darling, I want that felsh sticker as he has.'
'.......... Sure........ Wait here. Let's go, Marc. I need to vent.'
Steve Rogers
Tumblr media
-Steve knows what tattoos are since he has seen the stick and poke of his fellow soldiers but never a photorealistic tattoo in your portfolio
-he is very much intrigued how you made that look like a real person on someone's skin knowing very well there is no eraser
-loves to ask how do you achieve such colors that simply jump out or how you make a fabric that of a shirt or some patterns, he is armed with questions
-and since he is an art wizard himself he loves to have a painting duel with you, you paint on his skin with watercolors and he paints on the canvas
-that's one of his favorite moments
'What did you draw?'
'A dolphin kissing a penguin.'
'What?!'
'Just kidding I painted the building in Brooklyn where you lived.'
'Did I tell you how much I love you?'
Bucky Barnes
Tumblr media
-this man thrives to see you fulfill your dream and passion
-especially when he picks you up, he parks the car exiting it and walking in seeing you talk to your employees and customers exchanging stories and laughs even though in the near distance is the buzzing sounds of the machine guns
-you see him and grab his hand giving him a peck on his lips as a cheeky grin is stuck on his face
-as you talk about your day he always asks the question
'Were there any wusses?'
-alluding to men who cried out form the stinging pain, eventually tapping out to take a break
'Yes, a big dude Marc. Ordered a neck tattoo with details. Tapped out in 15 minutes.'
'I knew it!'
-he enjoys in the hilarious stories you can make up... I mean tell
Bruce Wayne
Tumblr media
-you already know the drill he has money he will give it to you but politely delined
-he tried to help with purest of heart but still, the answer was no
-he loved to see your shop filled with many customers as he walked incognito, sunglasses and a cap saying he wasn't a private appointment with the head tattooer
-Let's just say you were pretty much in tears of laughter as he reveled his face
'At least you tried, Bruce.'
-he loves to talk about tattoos and the process of healing if it's on top of a scar
-you are hooked on the conversation and even make him some sketches
'A huge dragon on your back with black and gold lining.'
'Okay but how about initials of my parents?'
'That sounds... Better much much better.'
-so the day of his tattooing comes you tattoo in his inner arm putting the letter T. & M. W.
'Thank you Princess.'
Clark Kent
Tumblr media
-Clark loves to see the vast tattoos so much that he wants one but he knows that his body will "absorb" the tattoo too fast making it disappear in a few months maybe weeks
-but still, he loves to see how your gaze is sharp focused on the tattooing even when HE walks that is how much you are focused
'Alrighty, Marc you are done.'
'Thanks, Y/n, you are the best.'
-Clark also loves to hear the influx of comments of your artistry even if he's a little jealous
-he loves to see just how much you are happier to follow this insane passion
'You are an inspiration Y/n.'
'Why?'
'Because... You just are.'
Arthur Curry
Tumblr media
-you already know that Fishman is tatted to perfection and he is here for a tattoo lover as well
-if you ever have someone asking for a Maori style tattoo Arthur will be a fair judge, that's what he says
Case#1
'Why do you want a Maori tattoo?'
'Um, sir beca-'
'It's Mr. Aquaman. Continue.'
'Oh, sorry. Mr. Aquaman, I want it because I find them cool.'
'Just cool? Do you think that the abundant culture of Maori people is cool? Go home boy.
Case #2
'You want a Ta Moko? Do you what that is?'
'Sur-sure, it's a tattoo of the Maori people.'
'Ufff... Do you know how much of a meaning Ta Moko carries? Why don't you go to the Yakuzas and get a tebori.'
'They would kill me.'
'Of course, and I'll whoop your uncultured ass with my two hands.'
-you turned to the now pale boy
'Run.'
-the man ran like the wind as the Aquaman caught him easily giving him a cultural lesson of Ta Moko
Orm Marius
-he kinda has a small soft spot for tattoos especially those with a loving meaning lover, family...
-and he likes to "inform himself" about it so he asks a ton of questions even asking what kind of tattoo would suit him
'I think a small red tattoo would suit your taste.'
'I like the tattoos who can hold audios.'
-with that sentence, he left you frazzled as you google and got the special ink kit gifting it to Orm as a present for being a nice guy and not killing anyone
-he immediately records his audio in secrecy and handing you the ink
-after you tattoo the ink you hand him your phone with the app to scan the audio
'Hey, Orm. I'm just reminding you that I love you. So much. It's Y/n if you forget... Somehow.'
-later that day you doused him with kisses
Joker
-that man oozes with tattoos *cough*damaged*cough*
Tumblr media
-and you can bet that he wants more of them he brings into your home the whole tattoo parlor just so he can have a private session with sex mixed in
-you gladly tattoo him patching up some of his tattoos he has outgrown them
'Why did you tattoo Kick Me on your back?'
'I won a bet.'
'Are you sure you won?'
'For sake of this question I did.'
-you cover the kick me tattoo with a large red dragon with green eyes
-he stands up looking at the tattoo in the mirror
'Sweets, you just got a huge tip.'
Duncan Vizla
Tumblr media
-for him, tattoo nowadays are dumb in his time tattoos were means of solidarity with people who are bounded by the same ink and gun
-but keeps his mouth shut about it not to offend your dream even if it's tattooing dancing hotdogs
-he loves to pass your parlor when he finishes grocery shopping just to see you in action
-he loves to arrive at the parlor if you are doing a night shift just to keep you safe and in good company
-he loves to bring you lunch and watch you eat it with such content and happiness
-it melts his heart and just wants to make you more food
-but as he is present for the good he is here for the bad
-if he is somewhere anywhere you just need to call him and he is there in a minute be it a drunken person not wanting to exit or an aggressive man trying to grope someone in the shop
-he is ready to kill them if you say so
'You okay sweetheart?'
'Um-yeah...Thank you Donut.'
'Nonsense. That's my duty.'

Temptations of Time
Tumblr media
A/N: My first fanfic ever uploaded on here.  Super nervous.  Hope you enjoy! p.s this is not canon, just a storyline that I came up with, doesn’t really have anything to do with marvel except for the characters and Asgard.  Also sorry for any mistakes.
Synopsis: You were taken from your home when you were too little to remember the truth.  You are the last surviving royal from your home, and in an attempt to continue the royal bloodline of your family, Odin, King of Asgard, arranges a marriage between you and his son Thor.  Despite this, over the years, you have culminated a friendship w/ his brother Loki, and though you are promised to Thor, you long for something more between you and his mysterious brother.
Pairing: Loki X Reader
Chapter: 1/?
Words: 2,393
Warnings: None
This was a world of games and faces, and I knew that in order to survive, I was going to have to put on the best performance of my life.
It was my job never to question.  I sat in apprehension, waiting for him to return to the courtyard, wondering why he had been whisked away so vivaciously.  I wanted to know so badly, but I knew if I pried, he would treat me with that same cold distance he did the time I had asked about his brother.  He asked me that day to never question what happened in his life when it came to his family or the throne, and I made a secret promise to myself that I would never again disappoint him.  I had hated the way his eyes had darkened and his soft smile had then turned into a sharp frown.  I vowed to never be the cause of such an expression again.  I picked a beautiful golden flower by the side of the bench I sat on, trying to distract my mind.  I touched the velvet petal, slowing plucking one from the flower, playing the old game of ‘he loves me, he loves me not”.  I was interrupted in my game, when Loki sauntered back into the courtyard.  He had been gone for what I guessed was an hour, and I could see the lines on his face that showed, to him, it had seemed an eternity.  I wanted to make it better for him, but I found that when he came back with such an expression, there was nothing I could do to help except simply sit with him and entertain whatever he wanted to speak about.  Today it seemed he wanted to sit in silence.  I went to place my hand in his to show my support, but he moved it away, which hurt me more than I thought it would.  I could see that today there was no place for me here.  I went to move, and I half expected him to try and pull me back, but he did no such thing, and instead, let me walk out of the courtyard, leaving me feeling dejected and empty.
I walked back to my chambers in somber silence.  I hadn’t expected that reaction from him.  Why had he come back to the courtyard, knowing that I was waiting for him there, just to treat me so coldly, not even really looking for my company?  I resigned to the thought that I would never truly be able to know the way his mind worked, and that I would never know where I stood with him, which made me feel even worse.  Near the entrance to my chambers, I saw my maid on her way to the kitchens.  She seemed in no hurry, so I stopped her to ask if she would bring some tea to my room.  She replied with a quick chirp of “Yes Mistress” and strutted off.  I needed to take my mind off of what happened, and drinking a cup of tea while reading was perfect.  I opened the door to my chambers and was instantly comforted by the strong smell of lavender.  I insisted that my room always smell of lavender because it reminded me of my home.  The only thing I could really remember about it was the strong smell of lavender, which I had learned from many books, had grown in abundance on my home and was the main trading crop, the source of its great wealth.  I closed the door behind me, trying to trap in as much of the lavender as I could, and walked over to the towering bookshelf that stood in the corner of my room.  The books that lined the shelves were some that I had collected throughout the years, but many had been gifts upon my arrival to Asgard.  As one of the only surviving royals from my home, word got around, and many came to celebrate my survival and my new promised ascension to the Asgard throne.  Odin had sworn he would keep the treaty he had started with my father, and in a show of good faith, I would be married to his eldest son, and heir to the Asgard throne, Thor.  I had no say in the matter, and at first I didn’t really care.  I hadn’t known any different, and I was too young then to understand what marriage truly meant.  As I grew older though, I found that I learned to hate this proposal, and I grew close to Thor’s brother Loki in a mutual hatred for the family that we were brought into.  It wasn’t as if I hated Thor; in fact, I had barely even spoken to him since the first few months that I had spent in Asgard.  After that we grew distant, and though one day we were said to be married, we never really found the need to seek conversation with each other.  I suppose it would have been nice if we could have built our relationship over the years, but I enjoyed the friendship I had made with Loki; in fact, I found myself hoping that Loki and I would be something more.  I realized how long I had been standing, staring at my bookshelf when my maid came over and asked if there was something wrong.  I assured her that I was fine, and took my tea from her, promptly asking her to leave.  I gave up trying to find a book, realizing that I would probably be too distracted to read anyways and decided to take my tea out to the balcony.  The sun was in its last stages of setting, and a beautiful golden glow had settled over the gardens surrounding the castle.  I could think of no greater view.  I leaned on the guardrail of the ledge and placed my face in my hand.  I watched as the sun slowly descended, thinking about all that I wanted, and all that would never come.
The morning brought a harsh light in through the window.  I could hear the faint chirp of the birds outside, and the smell of lavender had all but escaped out of the room, but I didn’t mind because the smell of the morning dew brought in a sense of freshness.  I didn’t want to get out of bed, but was prompted to when my maid entered, setting today’s attire on the chair near my vanity.  I looked at the oversized dress and imagined the suffocating fabric slowly slithering around my neck, choking the life out of me.  I wished that I didn’t have to dress is such constricting dresses, but King Odin always insisted that I wear clothes that represented the wealth from my home, so that people should never forget the power that I held, and where I came from.  Today’s dress was a deep blue color.  It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever laid my eyes upon, and I found myself wondering why today’s dress seemed to be so over the top luxurious.  I pulled back the satin covers to my bed and swung my feet over the side of the bed.  I looked at my pale legs, wondering why no matter how much time I spent outside, I never seemed to gain any color.  My reflection was that of a ghost as I watched myself cross over to my vanity in the large mirror resting in the corner of my room.  I watched as I was slowly transformed under my maid's hand from a simple girl into the statuesque figure of a Queen.
It was only when I opened the door to my chambers that I understood the occasion for the fancy attire.  A guard was standing with extreme vigilance outside my door, which wasn’t unnecessarily odd, but when I went to move out of my doorway his hand shot out.  Within it contained a letter.  I recognized the King’s writing on the front, and new instantly that something strange was going on.  I hardly ever had the honor of receiving council with the King, despite who I was and the fact that I was one day supposed to be the Queen.  I opened the letter with an immense sense of trepidation, hoping that it was not something terrible.  Inside it read “Your presence has been requested by the King in the Throne Room”.  These were dangerous words that could mean a continuous amount of possibilities.  Perhaps he had decided that I was no longer worth the trouble and he was going to cast me away.  Or, maybe he had decided that I would no longer marry Thor, leaving me with no claim to any throne.  I folded the letter and handed it back to the guard, who then began to move forward, signaling for me to follow as he lead me to the Throne Room.
The halls outside the throne room seemed disenchanting today and I passed by them, desperately trying to keep up with the guard in front of me, who wasn’t weighed down my miles of fabric.  I could feel the color draining out of me as I went through every possible scenario of what was going to happen when we reached the throne room.  The floor felt slippery under my feet, and it seemed that at any minute, my legs were going to give out underneath me.  I had made a vow to myself that I would always remain strong, but it was in moments like these that I was reminded that the smallest of things could reduce me to nothing but shaking hands and nervous twitches.  We approached the doors, and two guards standing on either side opened them slowly, making my entrance into the room look much more grand than how I felt.  What I saw inside the room made me begin to quake even more.  It wasn’t a full room as I had expected it to be, but instead just contained King Odin, and few guards who stood to the side of the room.  Out of all the scenarios, I had never imagined that Odin would have wanted to speak to me in such a personal manner.  Whenever we spoke, there were usually other subjects in the room, or at least other members of his family.  I realized that this much be far more worse that I had first thought, and prepared myself for utter devastation.
I walked into the room, trying to hold as much composure as I could, maintaining the guise of royalty and confidence.  I wanted to appear as though this was another simple day, like this didn’t frighten me at all.  Odin sat on his throne, looking like a golden statue.  His robes glinted from the light of the sun and cast a blinding shimmer into the room.  He looked magnificent, a god in his true form.  I was captivated, and almost forgot about the doom I was approaching, until I saw his face.  He looked stoic.  Nothing would break him, and he regarded me as one regards an insect, with little or no interest, ready to smash it if it gets too close for comfort.  I felt small, weak, and insignificant.  How one person could make someone feel that way by just sitting in a chair, I would never understand.  Though I suppose I would never have to if this “meeting” was going to go the way I thought it was.  I stopped in front of the stairs that led to his throne chair and fell to my knees, bowing forward until my chest hit the cold floor.  He regarded me with cold eyes until I saw him move his hand in a gesture for me to rise.  I slowly lifted myself from the ground, worried that if I made too fast of a movement, I would upset him.  The silence in the room was uncomfortable to say the least, and I felt like I was being suffocated by it, but I could do nothing but wait for the King to address me.  At last he finally opened his mouth to speak.
“Princess y/n, you have been requested here today to speak about the arrangement that was made between yourself and my son Thor.”
I wasn’t exactly sure if he wanted me to respond to this, so I sat in silence waiting to see if he would continue.  When he didn’t, I nodded my head in a simple gesture of understanding, which seemed to suffice.
“It was first decided that you would be married when you turned 25, which is the customary age for royals to be married from your home, and to which I agreed because I believed that it would show the true unity of the cultures of our two kingdoms, but due to certain circumstances, it has now been decided that you shall be married within the month.”
I felt a numbing sensation run throughout my body, and a sharp ringing in my ears had begun.  I didn’t know how to respond to this, and it wasnt like anything I was going to say would change anything.  Once King Odin decided something was going to happen, it happened, no matter what.  I wanted to escape from here.  All this time, I had never truly believed that the wedding was going to happen.  It was a part of the distant future, something that I didn’t need to think about; in fact, refused to think about.  The fact that I would now, in a month, be married to a man whom I did not know made me feel suffocated.  The only person I truly had feelings for was Loki, and I had no idea where to even begin when it came to him.  I felt like I had forgotten how to breathe, but I knew that I had to say something quick, something that would make Odin believe I was happy, despite how I truly felt, so that I would not appear ungrateful for his hospitality.
“I thank you Your Majesty for your never ending hospitality, and am delighted to hear that our Kingdoms will soon be united.”
He gave me a wave of the hand, dismissing me from the throne room, and though I wanted to bolt from the room, I held my composure.  This was a world of games and faces, and I knew that in order to survive, I was going to have to put on the best performance of my life.

10. The King and the Spy
Returning to your homeland is not as simple as you first had expected because you need to enter the country relatively unseen but with enough pomp and prestige to be noticed upon arrival in Sjöblik.
Why?
There are two viable ways to gain access to the court in Midgard while having a chance to listen in on the people in power. One is through subterfuge where no one knows of your presence, but that would require a small and trustworthy number of allies already in place – people willing to harbour a criminal although it may cost them their own lives in case things go wrong. Another way, the one Loki deems the safest, is for you to take the role of a noble lady who has come from far away in the hopes of establishing an alliance between the two countries. It is vital for the cover to be irrefutable in order for this scheme to be anywhere near possible, and so he has arranged for meetings and called in favours abroad.
At least he’s coming with me. Dressed for the cold weather and wrapped in furs, you are pressed against Loki’s chest as Magni gallops across the snowy landscape towards the mountains in the horizon to the west. Behind them lies Asgard which is where the next part of your quest will be set in motion.
Although the steed is faster than any normal horse, the journey takes weeks. Time that is spent jostled about with few ways to alleviate the grinding tediousness as Loki squeezes every hour possible out of the day to travel in. The stops are few and short, even at night when the king shows how well he is suited to the kingdom as he finds shelter from the coldest winds.
It is not the weather that makes you tremble, though. Although you do your best to keep eyes on the target and contemplate any line of action, it does little to distract your thoughts from the fact that the two of you will have to part with no guarantee of seeing one another again. Perhaps your former captor feels the same. At least he holds you tight and murmurs soothing words when sleep does not come easily until he finally places a hand upon your face, willing a dreamless rest to lull you.
And then one day, the mountains are no longer in the distance. Instead they rise tall and impenetrable before you as proof of why this range has been the natural border for thousands of years. Of course, Magni and his master are undeterred, plowing uphill and weaving through the jumble of crags and cliffs hinting at how often they must have come this way before. This is madness. The mountains near your home-village were not near as grand as these, but already they had been dangerous during the winter due to the snow above the treeline. These? These are giants in comparison and the winters here are clearly not to be trifled with, meaning that it would be suicide to attempt crossing them.
You open your mouth to say as much, ready to yell against the howling wind, when silence engulfs you. No snow is whipping about, not even a breeze is stirring the silken strands of the horse’s mane. The last turn has brought you all inside a cave partially shielded by large cliffs like jagged teeth which now protects anyone inside from the rage of the elements. You cannot see how far the haven reaches into the stony heart of the mountain, but it sounds as though it may be much further than you are sure you are comfortable with.
“It is no cave, my dear. This passage is ancient, and I am one of few who knows of its existence,” Loki explains calmly as he lifts you off the horse, “I have told my brother of it and he will meet us hallway through…but we have to walk from here on.”
Swiftly the bit of gear is moved from the horse’s back to yours and Loki’s. Magni is already tripping by the time it is done, eager to get out of the dark confines…but not before headbutting you affectionately in return for scratches between the ears. Then the horse is gone, leaving the place colder or quieter.
Even with your eyes used to the dark it is hard to make out much else than dark shades in a lightless void, and you are grateful for Loki’s hand which finds yours and begins to guide you further away from the entrance. Carefully, he leads you over the uneven stone, to where the walls come creeping in until you can hear the echo of your heartbeat which is much too fast for your own liking. And just as you are about to stop, sure that you can go no longer in this emptiness, a green light appears in midair suspended as an orb above the god’s fingertips. It is not strong, but enough to keep the darkness away and to show which way to go, where to place your feet. Best of all, it illuminates the figure that you find yourself trusting more than the king you went to war for.
There is no time under the mountains to prove the days slipping away. No sun or moon or stars to show which direction you travel in. It is just Loki and you in an eternity of silence which is only broken by the hushed voices of either you or him – it is too loud to speak normally. Sometimes, there is the distant gurgle of a stream or the dripping for stalactites. It is not all bad, though. There is no freezing winds, no snow that weighs your clothes as it begins to melt, and you have in fact been able to shed a few of the restrictive layers which in turn has had another effect. When the two of you lay down to rest, Loki’s long fingers are able to find ways past the fabrics and furs. Every inch of your body feels his caresses as both of you remove the clothes piece by piece, wanting more than each can give safely and greedily accepting what there is to take.
Then comes the moment when faint voices whisper through the tunnel, making you tense until Loki smiles encouragingly in the light of the green orb. It is part of the plan. There is nothing to fear. And soon you come face to face with a broad man who is smiling jovially as he embraces Loki under the light of torches. Blond hair is tied back, reddish beard rumbling with laughter that stands in stark contrast to the powerful body threatening to dwarf anything in the vicinity. Thor. They look nothing alike, but then they wouldn’t ‘cause they’re adoptive brothers, you admonish yourself seconds before your hand disappears in a huge fist.
“Lady [Y/N],” Thor beams, brushing your knuckles with his lips, “your courage is valued in Asgard an Jotunheim alike. Come! The rest of the journey will not be as tedious!”
The words are undoubtedly not meant as an offense, yet you see Loki bristle and decide to stay close to him to keep him at ease while following his brother past a few bends of the tunnel until reaching a wider path. It appears to have been hewn and a few torches are hanging in the ancient sconces. There would probably be quite a bit to learn from studying the surroundings, but your attention is caught by the vessel. It’s a longboat. But it is more than that…or something else. You are unsure mainly because it apparently is suspended a foot or two above the dusty floor with no visible ropes keeping it there. Both men are tossing the luggage on board without paying attention to how you are taking in the sigh with your mouth gaping. It’s impossible. You have seen magic at work before, so you know what is going on even though Loki’s tricks pale in comparison to this.
“Are you ready?” The green eyes full of concern and a tad amusement manage to capture yours.
“Yes.”
You allow him to help you on board, nestling you snugly between furs before he too finds a seat with his arm wrapped around you. Thor seems content to be given the position by the tiller. At least he grins and blinks before palming a globe inserted in the transom, launching the longboat into a mad speed which makes you want to scream and close your eyes. Instead you keep watching straight ahead, praying to anything and anyone you can think of that the maniac will not get you all killed. Gentle fingers brush away stray hair that has been plastered onto your face by the wind before cupping your cheek coolly. This time you welcome the darkness without objection.
A bath and a warm meal have done wonders, but the confidence is faltering as you follow the two brothers through the grand halls of Valhalla towards the throne room where Odin supposedly is waiting for you. This was not part of the deal. You swear under your breath as you try to smoothen the green dress, fighting against the flowy material that does nothing to insulate against the air...but then, why should it?
You had slept through most of the journey, only waking occasionally to eat or refresh yourself by the streams you passed as you headed towards the fabled City of Gold (a name you preferred over the actual meaning “Hall of the Dead Warriors”). Each time you woke, the changes in the landscape were monumental as the snow diminished to give room for what looked like an eternal summer. Warm air would waft gently against your skin, carrying on it the scent of flowers and fertile earth. Everywhere was an abundance of life whether it be wild or bent to the will of the inhabitants sowing the fields, tending to the cattle.
Even here in the castle can you hear the distant birds singing playfully, adding a soothing background to the already calm surroundings although neither seem to affect you much. You are dressed like a noblewoman, on your way to meet a king from fables that have been told since before your grandmother was born because Asgardians (and Jötun, you are beginning to suspect) live much longer lives than your kind. How long has Loki lived? The thought morphs in your mind. Just like it is the case with Odin, the stories of Loki predates your own birth even though he looks about the same age as yourself. How long will he live? Glancing up at his chiseled face, you realize the implications – he will outlive you.
Maybe he feels your gaze because he turns to meet your eyes, a wry smile upon his lips. “Odin is old and wise. Do not be fooled by his appearance…he sees and hears much more than you would suspect.”
The king of Jotunheim looks away, dragging your attention along to an enormous set of doors which the guards on duty open without any questions.
The hall beyond is larger than any you have seen before with grand pillars and gold inlaid patterns depicting plants, and creatures locked in eternal battle against fierce warriors. It is with a certain smugness that you notice both men and women in the decorations – no one here attempts to subdue their female counterparts. The same seems to be true for the guards stationed with regular intervals by the walls on either side as you walk behind the brothers who have taken the lead. You wish it were possible to reach for Loki’s hand, but you know this is neither the time nor place for it and settle instead for the safety of the human wall walking in front of you.
Unfortunately, it means that you are unprepared for the sight that awaits you. Thor and Loki bow lightly before stepping aside which is your cue to kneel, but you nearly forget as the scene is revealed: upon the dais is an entire group that surround the golden throne on which Odin sits. He seems old, though by no means weakened. A single steel-blue eye pins you to the place, giving the sensation of seeing into your very soul in a similar way that Loki’s green orbs has done time and time again. As you sink to the floor, you fight to look only at the colourful stones beneath even if you sense the two shadows descending the steps to circle you.
“Father,” Thor’s voice booms through the hall, “this is [Y/N  Y/L/N], the former Midgardian soldier whom Loki has harboured and helped see reason.”
A soft snout grazes your cheek, the breath from it warm and mingling with the smell of dog, and you do your best to ignore it. To supress the shiver running down the spine. Then Loki steps nearer and the creatures move away, allowing you to release the air that has been sticking in your lungs.
“A defector, and one who is willing to actively work against her king.” My king’s not in Midgard, but you do not openly contradict Odin. “Tell me, why should I believe your claim?”
Why don’t you believe Loki? “Your highness…” A low chuckle from Loki makes you pause, but no one else has heard him. “I suppose that…that I’ve no intention to convince you, king Odin. All I can do’s explain the life I’ve had and how my understanding of…the Midgardian incursion and the deceit of my people has brought me to make this decision.”
Cool fingers stroke your shoulder briefly as a way of letting you know that your answer is acceptable. Thus emboldened, you are able to face the king (the All-Father) when he asks you to and the questioning can begin.
…   LOKI’s PoV   …
It is hard to watch Odin’s wolves, Geri and Freki, circle the poor girl without stepping in to protect her, and eventually Loki does give into the urge although it earns him a glare from the king. Few people dare oppose him (and few find the need to), meaning that the rare occasions are ill received – more so when it is Loki who speaks again his father. Adoptive father. Once Loki had learned the truth, many things began to make sense and he learned to pick his battles carefully, following the example of the woman who has raised the jotun prince as her own child. This time he stands his ground like a pillar planted solidly for the sake of providing unwavering support to a person lost in a storm.
[Y/N] appears small as she stands before the throne with her fists clenched in determination not to give in to the fear. Part of Loki swells with pride at the tenacity, another part wants to steal her away from the drilling interrogation and the scrutinizing eyes. I cannot. No, the Midgardian is as feisty as she is adamant in her decision.
“I’m afraid you misunderstand, your highness,” her musical voice penetrates his spiraling thoughts, “so allow me to clarify. I’ve not made this decision, to infiltrate the court of my homeland and spy on my so-called king because king Loki or you need the information.” Shocked murmurs rise and [Y/N] waits for the Asgardians to quiet down before continuing. “I do this for the people. It seems we’ve been lied to. Tricked to serve a cause that doesn’t exist. Abused and suffered in order to maintain a living standard for a select few who don’t care for the rest of us at all. I ask you, Odin All-Father, what makes a nation if not those who dwell within the borders? If the people suffer, doesn’t the country suffer?” Loki can see a greyed eyebrow appear above the patch covering the empty socket and he knows the words have struck a cord within the old ruler. “I need to learn the truth. Need to…to show my people what’s going on. If it happens to serve your cause too, then fine, but whatever I find that’s what I’ll act upon. I won’t become a tool once more, expected to serve, unquestioning regardless of the prize the common folk pays.”
A slight movement by the throne draws Loki’s gaze to Frigga. You see it too. The subdued smile on the queen’s face speaks of the same emotions that a whirling within Loki, and he knows that even if Odin himself does not approve of the Midgardian then he will be…convinced by the sweet words of his soulmate. Yes, Frigga understands.

Loki X Reader
Warning: dirty dancing (?), sexual insinuation, swearing.
Part 1 | Part 2
The first kingdom they were visiting was Flora. It was ruled by a sweet little fairy. Thanks to Derek, you were welcomed in every kingdom. The kingdom of flowers and plants was famous because of it’s abundance of, well, flowers and plants. Everything seemed shiney and a little bit fogged like a dream “Welcome!” the fairy said in the sweetest tone “You’ll find a little surprise in your room. Hope you enjoy the stay. Oh! And as usual we’ll have the welcoming ball tonight and tomorrow we’ll have the meeting during our lunch.”.
Night was just a name, it was never dark in this kingdom. As soon as you got into your room you found out that the little surprise were candies and drinks “Sweet” you stated as you devoured everything. So did everyone else except for Loki. After you ate, you felt sooo tired that you decided to take a rest. Which lead into a nap. You woke up hours later, feeling a little bit dizzy. Still, you got dressed to the ball. This time you picked a green dress, full of flowers and an irregular bar. Again you opted for a braid but only two strings of the front of your hair matching in the back and falling with the rest of your curly hair. You ate more candy before leaving your room to the garden where the ball was happening. As soon as you stepped in the grass, you notice you were barefoot but didn’t care. You continue to walk towards the group dancing in a big circle and joined them. You didn’t know why you were doing it.
After a while, you noticed there was more candy and ate it, increasing your dizziness. As you turned you could see everybody dancing. But not just any dance. They were body to body, holding each other closely. You saw Violet and Loki, your brother and the queen, Natasha and Captain, Thor and another fairy. You felt the urge to dance like that too. You searched for a lonely body in the dancefloor but instead felt somebody rubbing their body in yours in a serpentic dance. You joined the fairy who approached you and was passionately dancing till you felt hands on your shoulders “Is this the way a princess should behave in her first visit to a kingdom, princess?” smirked Loki. “Jealous much?” you snarked back. “Not as much as you when you saw me dancing with Violet.” he hit back. “I see you were enjoying soooo much” you said as you left pissed off to your room. You ate every missing candy in rage and layed down waking up only in the morning finding youserlf still dizzy.
You heard music coming from the garden and followed it. Walked through the tree walls of the palace in your last night’s clothes to find a group of little girls smiling and dancing around this golden egg. One of them invited you to approach and so you did. She handed you the egg as the other girls runned away from you laughing. When she stood in front of you, alone, you noticed: it was you. Younger you. She smiled and disappeared following the other girls.
Sure that you had what you were looking for in this kingdom, you ran to your brother’s room. You opened the door without knocking to a disturbing surprise: your brother and the fairy were wrapped in sheets, probably naked, passionately kissing. You slammed the door as soon as you opened it. So you decided to look for Violet so she would help you spread the news. You decided to knock this time, and you had to do it 10 times but never was answered. So you decided you could tell everyone by yourself. Walked to Captain’s room “Go away!” he screamed. Okay, this was not very Captainy. When you knock in Natasha’s room nobody answered it. You skipped Thor’s due the awkward sounds you heard coming from it. It was almost lunch time and your dizziness kept strong.
Almost giving up and only because it was in front of your room, you decided to knock in Loki’s room but as you reached the door it opened up. He had his black and green suit on and a smile of somebody who knows a secret. “I think I found what we needed from this kingdom.” you said walking inside his room. Noticing that he didn’t eat his candy, you went for it “You really shouldn’t, princess...” he tried to stop you. You put the egg down to eat the candy as you faced him in a classic childish act and was stopped by an indescribable wave of desire. You wanted that man. No, you craved him. You walked in his direction till your lips met his. You felt like your dress was too much and took it off in seconds, getting more and more investive in Loki “Princess, I really want to do it but I’m afraid I have to stop you” he said helding you back as you fell asleep in his arms.
-----------
“What have you done to us?” you stormed in the dining room where the fest was being served wearing you undergarment dress.
You saw all of your team mates in similar outfits “Princess, why don’t you sit down and eat while we meet?” said the queen enjoying herself. “Okay, what happened here?” said Thor a little confused. “Well, my brother, you fell in the oldest trick: poisoned food. Flora fairies has the habit of... procreation.” explained Loki who also seemed to be having the time of his life. “Oh, and you couldn’t have warned us?” you bursted. “I’m the God of Mischief. Now tell me, how did the Goddess of Ambition got drugged and followed fairies sugestions?” Fuck. “Can we get out of this place?” Natasha was sick of it. “We can but don’t you want perhaps to put on some clothes?” Loki smirked.
“I suppose you found the egg, princess?” said the fairy to what you nodded “As you can figure, it’s a symbol of our fertility. It brings new things to life.”.

(Loki x reader) Can’t sleep pt.5
Tumblr media
A/N: I made this angsty, I apologise. I hope you guys like it tho! I’ll try to make the next chapter more fluffy
Warning: Injuries/comatose, etc
Words: 1305
Pt.1
Pt.2
Pt.3
Pt.4
Loki sat on a discoloured uncomfortable chair in the hospital waiting room, silent and afraid. He hadn’t spoken for quite some time and Thor who was sitting next to him, was getting more and more concerned by the minute. Loki didn’t just feel sad, he felt numb. He felt helpless. He was so used to be able to do something to help. Now, all he could do was wait.
Thor put his hand on his brother's shoulder hoping for some kind of reaction, even if it wasn’t a friendly one. He hadn’t moved, spoken, and had barely blinked for the past two hours of them waiting. He just wanted him to react to his contact and show some sign of movement, but he didn’t even stir. He simply stared at the floor, occasionally fidgeting with the skin of his cuticles which caused his fingers to bleed. Thor also felt helpless that he couldn’t do anything to help ease his brothers pain. That’s all anyone felt at this moment. Helplessness.
“Loki please talk to me, it won’t help to dwell on your pain” he said, his voice low and mellow. Loki finally made eye contact with him, continuing to pick at his skin with agitation.
“I wasn’t there” he said, staring at him.
“No. Loki you can’t put the blame on yourself. None of us can. It was not in our power to manipulate the outcome, whatever it may be” Loki scoffed slightly, however there was not a hint of amusement in his voice.
“...whatever it may be” he repeated back to Thor, which caught him off guard for a few moments, left silent by his words.
“I promised I’d protect her” Loki said, his voice finally breaking as well as the walls that guarded his fragile emotions. Thor looked up at him, registering what he had just said.
“Are the both of you together?” he asked. Loki could only muster a small nod. Thor exhaled deeply, unsure of what to say. He was afraid that Loki could lose yet another person that he cared so deeply for, and there was nothing he could do.
“She’ll be okay Loki, she’s tough. Her bravery and strength rivals many a warriors of Asgard. This is nothing compared to what I’ve seen her face before, I have hope” he said, a sad smile on his face as Loki looked up at him, smiling at the memories of you.
“I know. I just wish I could do something” he said, looking down at his hands again which were still bleeding.
“We all do. I have many friends in there. All we can do is have faith, Y/N would want you to” he said. Loki nodded and continued to stare at his hands, still deep in thought. Thor sighed a little and handed Loki a small tissue. Loki looked up at him strangely before Thor explained.
“To clean the blood. You always used to do it when father went off to battle. I guess you never outgrew it” Loki smiled a little and took the tissue from him, dabbing at the blood.
“I’m surprised you could find something I haven’t outgrown” he said thoughtfully, smirking at him.
-------------------------
An hour had passed and Thor and Loki were still sitting in the waiting room with the other Avengers, waiting for more results. Natasha and Sam were the only people they’d heard about so far. Natasha had been blasted against a wall, and it had fractured one of her ribs and left her with several broken bones. Sam had his arm broken in several places, a severe concussion, and a bruised rib. Both were going to be okay. No information had been released on you and Clint however. So when one of the doctors walked in, a clipboard in his hand and a serious expression on his face, everyone stood up and walked towards him.
“Anything new?” Tony asked, a serious tone in his voice. The doctor nodded and looked at the clipboard.
“Mr Barton is in a stable condition. He has three broken ribs, a broken leg, and a gunshot wound to his opposite leg. He conscious now if you wish to speak with him. Meanwhile Miss L/n is in a serious but stable condition. She has a broken arm, two gunshot wounds in her leg and stomach, and a partially collapsed lung. She’s still unconscious and we’re unaware of when she’ll wake up”
“Can we see them?” Steve asked, concern also in his voice.
The doctor nodded at him.
“Yes, however I recommend at least one or two people to see Miss L/n” he said, which left Loki and Thor looking at each other in unison.
“Let’s go and see Clint, then we can each check on Y/n one at a time” Tony said, and everyone else nodded as they walked towards Clints room, all except Thor and Loki.
“Go and see her. I’ll give you a little time” Thor said, smiling at Loki. Loki nodded in acknowledgment and smiled back a little.
“Thank you, brother” he said, walking down the hall to where you were kept. He hesitated in front of the door, not looking in just yet. He inhaled deeply before moving in slowly. The moment he saw you, it felt like his heart had just collapsed.
You had some kind of tube down your throat to help you breathe, and your right eye was covered in yellow purple bruises. You also had several nasty bruises along your arms as well as a cast on your left leg. You were so still and quiet, the beeping of the heart monitor was his only indication that you were alive.
Loki’s breath was stuck in his throat as he hovered by the door, staring at your comatose body. His hands were shaking and a tear finally streamed down his cheek.
“Y/n…” he breathed, moving closer to the bed and kneeling on the floor, holding your hand gently.
“Y/n….if you can hear me, I’m here. I’m here Y/n” he said, kissing your hand hoping for some kind of reaction. However, you didn’t stir.
“You...you really scared me darling” he said, scoffing a small laugh as he gently stroked your hand with his thumb. A moment of silence passed, Loki simply staring at you with adoration and grief. He didn’t know how long he’d been sitting there, but he knew that he didn’t want to leave you. He wanted to make sure you were safe under any circumstance. A few tears dripped down Loki’s face as he continued to stare at you, broken and afraid at what had happened to you.  He hated seeing you hurt, it was almost as if someone had broken the only pure part of his soul that was left. He felt so helpless. Why couldn’t he do anything? Why couldn’t he save you? Why was loving you so beautiful and incredible, yet so painful and heartbreaking?
Loki sobbed silently a little, brushing a bit of hair out of your face. Worried that it would irritate you whilst you slept.
“I guess this makes up for the sleep that you’ve missed all of these past nights. The nights you comforted me, the nights we read...I haven’t felt such love for so long” he said, his voice breaking a little. He continued to stare at you, all these thoughts buried inside his head. He had nobody to talk to about how afraid he felt. The only person he wanted to talk to about Y/n, was Y/n. He dropped his head in grief, squeezing your hand a little hoping to capture you attention, even though you were comatose.
“Your lack of sleep and now your abundance of it…it’s all my fault, and I can’t save you. I’m sorry Y/n”

A Warrior’s Life
TITLE: A Warrior’s Life
CHAPTER NO./ONE SHOT: Chapter Twenty-Eight AUTHOR: wolfpawn ORIGINAL IMAGINE:
Imagine Viking Loki coming to your village, raiding and pillaging, before deciding there is something about you that intrigues him and deciding to take you back to Asgard with him. There, you are forced to learn a new life and language, and though you hate what has happened to you, you learn that Loki is not as bad as you think.
RATING: Mature.
NOTES :
1 – A torc is a beautifully designed neckpiece made of metal from the Bronze Age which is a bit before the Vikings in all fairness, but too pretty not to mention.
2 – A stoat is a cute but crafty little carnivore, sleek and small. Google it, it’s adorable.
3 – Irish castles had huge differences in design, but your basic tower house design usually had a design of the higher in the building you went, the more private it was; so public areas on the bottom floor, usually something like a dining hall or the like, then the next floor would have something like general living quarters, and finally, at the top, the sleeping quarters, I have put the throne room on the second floor, not for any particular reason.
Maebh bent down and picked up Thor’s discarded sword, it was far heavier than her own, before walking over to Séan, handing it to him. He took it, his eyes wide and darting between her and the large dead man on the floor. “Séan, you have done so much for me already, but may I ask a boon of you?” she requested.
“Anything, my loyalty to the true rulers of Ulaidh will never falter.” He bowed.
“Please remain with me until all that is required is done here these evening.”
“Of course, my Queen.”
Maebh gave the man a small smile before she turned to the Midgardian warriors that were still awaiting instruction. “More of them went outside in search of their fallen.” She informed them. “They will need to be dealt with.”
He looked at her for a moment unsure of what to do, before he began to turn. “What of the King?” One of the others asked. Maebh looked to him and realised he was not even of her age.
“She is the daughter of King Aodh, and the rightful ruler of this land, Cathal is no more than a treacherous beast, killing the king and attempting to kill his heirs, he holds no power.” Séan declared. The young man silenced and followed his commander out of the room.
Maebh turned to Cathal who was still kneeling on the floor with his hands tied. “It appears all around you are even more fickle to you as they were to my father. Perhaps you should have taken such fickleness as a warning.” She smiled.
“You are more callous and sinister that I could ever have imagined.” Cathal acknowledged reluctantly. “You put even myself to shame. Earning their trust, then getting them to willingly return you here with an army of warriors at your disposal, using them to get rid of my forces, and then sending them to their slaughter, you truly are as ruthless as a stoat.”
“I prefer to think of myself as a fox.” She winked.
“Maebh?” a voice called from the hallway outside.
“Still in here.” She called as the man entered the room. “Did you find it?”
“Just where you said it would be….THOR!” Loki shouted as he noticed his older brother lying on the floor with blood pooling next to his head. “Maebh?” he looked to his wife for an explanation.
“He’s fine, right Thor?” She turned her head to look at the warrior.
Thor groaned as he rose from the floor. “I could have done without you cutting open my head.” He patted the flesh wound with his hand. Blood stained it when he pulled it back. “Some warning would have been nice.”
“We did not really have time to formulate a plan.” She shrugged. “I had to think of something on the spot, we were grossly outnumbered. Besides, your shock added to the believability of it. I am just glad you were able to realise what I meant when I said “I would not break my word on our little deal.” Thor grinned back at her.
“You little bitch!” snarled Cathal.
“As I said already, needs must. I could not let anything happen to my family.” She smiled.
“Is the area secured?” Thor asked Loki.
Loki nodded. “There were a few more that came down the stairwell as we were rounding up the last of them, but they were easily taken care of.” Loki then went to the greying man who was wielding his brothers’ sword, eyeing him studiously.
“Loki, you recall me telling you of a man called Séan of Armagh, this is he.” Maebh indicated to Séan, speaking in Midgardian as to put the man at ease. Séan looked over at the dark-haired man and then to Maebh. “Séan, this is my husband, and a prince of Asgard, Loki. And the man whose sword you have is his brother, Thor, the crowned prince.” Séan stared wide-eyed at the blonde warrior.
Thor looked over at the older man with a large grin. “I will be wanting that back once this is over.” He indicated to his sword, and Séan nodded silently, still in shock.
Loki walked over to Cathal, who was still kneeling on the ground and inspected the scar on his face. “I see Queen Clodagh did quite some damage.” He commented snidely. “Though for all you have done, it seems somewhat earned from what my wife has told me.”
The man glared up at the dark haired prince. “Your wife? She deserves nothing better than to be a barbarian’s whore.” He spat.
Loki’s green eyes darkened with fury before anyone could say anything, he kicked Cathal across the face with his boot and a painful crunching noise resounded around the otherwise silent room as blood began to flow freely from the fallen kings’ nose. “How dare you speak of my wife in such a way, you disgusting little rat.” He snarled, his tone seething, and even Maebh was startled by his reaction.
She walked over to the two men. “Loki, it is alright.” She said soothingly, as she put her hand on his chest gently.
“I will have no man speaking of you in such a manner.”
“I know, and I am grateful, but he is only trying to anger you, do not give him the satisfaction.” She spoke in Aesir as to unnerve Cathal. She turned to Thor “Take Séan and get him to tell you who is truly loyal and see what they say.” Thor nodded and Séan looked to her.
“What is happening?” he asked fearfully.
Maebh walked over to the man. “I am afraid I must ask one more favour of you. Thor will ensure no harm befalls you at the hands of both the Aesir and any other if you aid us. We need you to tell us who is truly loyal to Ulaidh, and who is only here as pawns for Uí Neill. Those who are a danger to the Aesir and the local people will be dealt with accordingly. As your reward, you will be given a better home and an abundance of lands, as well as a higher title.”
“I’m afraid I do not fully understand.” He admitted.
“I am not remaining on Midgard, as soon as we are done here, I am returning to Asgard with my husband to care for my son.” She explained.
“What of the kingdom?” he asked apprehensively.
“It is to be freed of Cathal’s rule and all loyal to him so that it will be free of his influence by Uí Neill. It is to be controlled by you on behalf of the king of Asgard, Odin, my husbands’ father.” Séan stared at her anxiously. “I know what you are thinking, and rest assured, he wants little to do with Midgard, it is merely for him to have a base to attack Mide, when the time is right; all he asks in return is a small fee, the same as when my father reigned, and a place for his warriors to reside when on voyages. This dwelling will be such, and you will be in charge of its keep, if you so choose of course. Please understand, you are under no obligation to accept.”
“My queen, but what of your claim.”
“I relinquished such as my dowry.” She explained. “No marriage could have taken place without it, and with my family long dead, I had nothing else to bestow on the king.” Séan nodded understandingly.
“Do you accept what is being offered to you?” Thor asked, looking at the older man.
“I do.”
“Then let us make our way to the others, and begin the process.” He smiled reassuringly. Séan was apprehensive but ultimately joined Thor as he walked out of the room.
Loki and Maebh looked at each other for a moment before turning to look at Cathal, who was still trying to stem the blood flow from his horrifically broken nose. Maebh stepped toward her uncle with Loki behind her, his arms encircling her waist as he leant in and kissed her neck. Cathal grimaced in disgust. “So are you going to tell me the significance of this?” Loki asked as he pulled out a gold torc with intrinsic designs on it and held it to his wife.
“It was made for me by my father, the sign that I was his to be his successor. It was my most prized possession.” She replied, looking at it.
“Was?”
“Well, I have you now, so it sadly has been forced into second place.” She joked, laughing as Loki held her close and kissed her again.
Cathal glared at them with utter contempt at their affectionate displays. “He is of the Midgard mindset that this is inappropriate is he not?” Loki asked, refusing to speak in anything but Aesir now they were alone so to confuse the disgraced king.
Maebh held her hands over his. “Indeed.” She confirmed. “What are you thinking?” she asked seeing Loki’s mind at work. She got her answer when Loki slid his hands over her body, his eyes daring the older man to utter a word. Maebh chuckled at his actions. “Naughty!” She scolded.
“I am merely showing my wife some affection; it is hardly like I am taking you on the throne room floor.”
“If that occurred, I think he would die of shock.” Maebh laughed.
Loki grinned menacingly. “There’s an idea.” He began to untie the straps that held her armour at her thighs. As expected, the Midgardian man’s eyes widened and his lip curled up in sheer disgust, but he remained silent. “Try and control your blushing.” He smiled wickedly. He slipped his hand up her bare thigh, most of which was visible because she had torn off some of her shirt to cover his arm wound. “How far do you think we have to go before he will crack?” Loki slipped his hand closer to her core.
“What debauched and vile beings you are.” Cathal sounded repulsed.
“Guess we found out.” Loki chuckled in Aesir before turning to the other man and speaking Midgardian. “Why, because we enjoy our wives? Surely wanting to pleasure them is not a crime?” he scoffed.
“It is sinful; God will strike you down for such wretched things.”
Loki looked at the fallen man with a raised eyebrow before speaking to Maebh. “Does this God rejoice in anything?”
“Eternal misery from what I have gathered.”
“No wonder it took you so long to embrace our Gods, how could you give yourself over to them when you expected only misery,” Loki stated.
“Heathen Gods now too, my Maebh, none will accept one such as you here, your mother would weep.” Cathal spat snidely.
“Hence why I do not care for ruling here, and why I am so eager to return home. The mindset of those who reside here would never entice me to remain.”
“Could you stop playing with your kill like a cat so that we can go to sleep and get some rest.” Thor barked as he re-entered the room covered in fresh blood, and seeing that Cathal was still alive. He also quickly noticed Maebh’s bare thighs. “There is plenty of time for all of that after you kill him.” He commented exasperatedly.
“What with you pining for Sif as you listen?” Loki jested.
“In case you have not forgotten the table incident yesterday, there is little of you both I have not seen or heard at this stage.” Dismissed Thor.
Maebh rolled her eyes before turned to face Cathal, hardly able to contain her laughter at the sheer shock on his face at the matters of which they were discussing. “Fine, but only because I am weary and we have much walking to do tomorrow while laden down with goods.” She straightened her face and took her blood covered long bladed knife from her belt and stalked toward her uncle. Cathal attempted to back away, as he did so, Maebh grabbed the collar of his nightshirt and pulled him along the floor. Both princes watched as she dragged him out the door and through the hallway, following her out of curiosity. She came to the top of the stairwell and looked at Cathal, who immediately seemed to know what was coming, so he took a deep breath as to brace himself. She kicked him in the back and he fell forward, hitting off the stone steps as he fell, unable to protect himself with his hands, which remained tied behind his back.
Maebh walked down the steps at a relaxed pace, Thor and Loki walked silently behind her. At the end of the stairs, Cathal lay broken on the floor, bruised, cut and barely conscious. She stepped on him as she walked by, earning a pained moan. She dragged him into a kneeling position by the hair against the wall. “Get up.” She snarled maliciously.
“Go to Hell.” He spat back, blood dripping down his chin.
The brothers finished descending the stairs and dragged the man to his feet. “Walk,” Loki growled dangerously.
“What is the point if I am to die regardless.” The man argued.
“The level of suffering you will endure is the point.” Maebh did not turn to look at him as she spoke.
“Where are you taking me?” He asked as she walked on.
“Outside, so all will see your treason.” She answered; she said no more as she exited the building.
Standing on the grass outside in the darkness were the many Aesir, outnumbering all that was left of the unarmed Midgardians and a few of their families, who stood like startled sheep among them. On the ground lay all those loyal to Cathal and to Uí Neill, with either their throats slit or their chests pierced. “So you kill all those who oppose you?” Cathal commented looking to the dead.
“All those who are a threat, no detriment comes to those who pose us no harm, especially women and children,” Thor stated, putting extra emphasis on the last part for the king’s benefit.
“You could never possibly understand,” Cathal stated, his injuries slurred his speech somewhat.
“On the contrary, I understand perfectly.” Loki declared matter-of-factly, earning a somewhat confused look from Thor. “I too am the younger son of a king, never to take the throne due to a more than capable elder brother, and he too has heirs, but unlike you, I do not take out the injustices of my father on my brother. And it would never have even entered my thoughts to kill or injure him and his young family.”
“So instead you follow him around like a loyal hound, hoping for scraps from his plate. When he is king he will cast you aside like a dirty rag.”
Maebh grabbed the man by the throat. “Is that what you have convinced yourself my father did to you, simply cast you aside? You had the finest home bar ours, a large majority of the best lands and well-stocked lakes and rivers as well as plenty of workers, my father spoiled you, and well you know. But you decided it was never going to be enough, you wanted it all.”
“I was better suited to the throne, he said himself that he never wanted it.”
“You were never suited to it; your time in rule shows your incompatibility with it. You could never see the forest for the trees Cathal. My father was the only option, for you never were one.”
The older man futilely attempted to rise and strike her, but Loki struck him back down immediately. “Say your prayers.” He suggested coldly cutting the rope that bound him.
Cathal blessed himself, earning baffled looks from the princes who both looked to Maebh in utter bewilderment, her face told them that she would explain it later; they watched as Cathal’s lips moved silently and he blessed himself again when he completed them and turned to Maebh. “You are twice the traitor I could ever have been. Selling your lands, body and soul to these heathens, breeding with them like a stray animal.”
“I care little for the opinion of one such as you.” She responded coldly. “Are you ready for your judgement?”
“Only the Lord can judge me.” He looked to the heavens.
“There is no God for you, only fools talk to the clouds.” Maebh laughed condescendingly.
“I’ll take my chances with my beliefs.”
“As I will mine, though if you think you will ascend to your pathetic heaven after everything you have done, I fear you might be more delirious and without mind than I previously thought.” She laughed. She placed her dagger back on her belt and unsheathed her sword. “Farewell Cathal, rot in Hel.” Without another sound, she placed both hands on the hilt and swung the sword with both hands and sliced through his neck. Blood sprayed from the wound and stained the sword, her and the ground. Maebh watched as the bruised and beaten torso of her uncle fell lifeless to the floor and his head rolled a short distance before stopping.
Both the Aesir and Midgardians alike watched as she silently walked back into the dwelling without looking at anyone, sword still in her hand and blade scraping along the ground. Loki and Thor looked at one another for a moment before Thor nodded and Loki followed his wife.
She had already ascended the stairwell before he even returned inside. He took the steps two at a time as he made his way to the throne room. He was slightly shocked to not see her there. Loki turned and went to go up the second flight of stairs he had gone up earlier to retrieve the torc on Maebh’s request, jumping over the body of the man Maebh had used the dagger on as he silently attempted to sneak up on them when she had told Loki of her quest to retrieve the neckpiece she had hidden in her chambers years before.
When he reached the top of the second flight of stairs, he walked along the corridor, giving a quick look into every room he passed for the briefest moment before moving to the next, as he suspected he knew which one his wife was in. He opened its door and sure enough, he found her there, sitting at a window. “Maebh?”
Maebh was staring out into the darkness; the lands were in shadows as the moon moved in and out of the cover of the passing clouds. She could barely hear Loki’s voice in the background of her mind as she thought over the evening’s events. She stared at him blankly as he sat next to her, his face filled with concern.
“Maebh, are you alright?” He asked her again, looking at her to gauge her reactions. Her face had blood across it in a diagonal line from slicing Cathal’s neck. She was also covered in dried sweat and mud from their days of travelling, but even in all of that, her grey eyes remained large and filled with conflicting emotions. She simply nodded silently. “It’s done, you avenged them.” Again she just nodded, so he simply sat across from her, staring into the night.
After a time Loki heard voices and footsteps on the stairwell and along the hall. He looked to the door as his brother entered. “We are going to sleep for the night.” He announced wearily when he saw them inside. Loki nodded, and Thor looked to Maebh, then back to Loki who shrugged slightly. Thor raised an eyebrow but said nothing more as he turned to leave.
“Where is Baldr?” Maebh asked causing both men to look at her. “I have not seen him since we left the tree line and you have been in charge since as far as I have seen.” She added.
“He was badly injured by an arrow on our charge. Adding that to his other injuries from our other battles and it is not looking too well. We leave at first light as I believe we may be able to get him to Vanaheim to recover. We only lost two in all, Kollr and Eirik.”
Maebh recalled to herself how she had told Kollr not to die until they were at their destination. She huffed out a small laugh; both brothers did also, recalling the conversation she had with him the first day of their training.
“Why this room may I ask? There is bigger than this up here.” Thor pondered aloud as he looked around, then he realised a reason for its significance. “This is your old room, is it not?” he asked Maebh.
“Yes.” Was all she responded, Thor took one more quick look around, nodded to himself, and left.
“So are you going to tell me what ails you so my dear, considering you got what you have been wishing for for the last six years?” Loki inquired.
“I am finding it hard to process that after all this planning, all my hours of thinking of it, it is done.” She attempted to explain.
“And what else is irking you too?” She looked over at him. “Come now, you are well aware that I know you too well to not but realise there is more that is tormenting you. So tell me.”
“They speak the truth, all of them.” Loki looked at her confused, signifying he had no idea what it was exactly she was speaking of. “Those we have killed, they called me a traitor, and I am. They say my family would be ashamed of what I have done in marrying an Aesir, I believe they are right.”
Loki was unsure of what she was implying. “Are you saying you’d rather stay here? You’d rather we were not wed?” He could not hide the hurt in his voice.
“No, I do not regret it; I regret what it means regarding my family. I have effectively desecrated the memory of my siblings. I am raising the son of one of their killers, I am bedded by a man who came to our lands to kill and pillage, and I find myself unashamed by it, which in itself is shameful.”
“We seldom get to marry for love in our ranks, it is all about treaties and political ties, is that not what our marriage can be viewed as; it has formed a bond between Asgard and a part of Midgard. Would your father not have wanted the fighting to stop, to ensure there would be no more conflict between the two lands, and allowing you being happy in the process?” Loki asked.
Maebh remained silent for a moment before laughing. “You really are something else to contort this into somewhat of a good thing. I really cannot commend your quick mind enough.”
“Well, I am renowned for such. Come, get some rest, we have an early start and a long day.” Loki stood and took Maebh’s hand to guide her to the bed. “After all that is happened today, you need to let your body process it,” he added as he began to remove some of his armour.
Maebh agreed and removed her own also, washing her blood covered face and sweat covered body as she did so using a water basin in the room, before collapsing into the bed beside Loki, allowing his strong arms to wrap around her. “It is odd, to be somewhere I knew so well, but yet I feel like I do not know it at all.” She placed her hands on his and turning her head so to allow her to kiss him, which he happily reciprocated. “You know, we consummated our marriage in your childhood bed, now we are in mine.”
“Really, this is the bed?”
“There are scuffs from my shield training as a child along the frame, it’s the same one.”
Loki laughed. “Why am I not surprised?” he slid his hand down her body. “So shall we give your childhood room the same treatment? Is that what you are suggesting?”
“Sounds like an idea. I think this may be the first time in all the time we have been away from Asgard that we can have some time alone without interruption.” Maebh shifted her legs to allow Loki more access to her body.
“What are the chances Th…?”
“Do not jinx us.” She ordered, silencing Loki by pressing her lips to his.

Weekly Roundup #4
Happy Monday, everyone! I told myself that I wouldn't hunt as hard this week as I did the week previously, and wouldn't you know it... I failed. 😫 I failed hard. I failed so hard. I didn't mean to get carried away, but I saw one thing that I liked and then another that I could use for project A, and then I couldn't get this without also getting that. You know how it goes. This week's haul was massive. Thirty-six, count 'em, THIRTY-FUCKING-SIX figures in what is the largest bounty so far. ost of them were in multipacks, but that just means I got more bang for my buck. I also got a few things that aren't figures this week as well. That's rare for me, I know, but when yer crafting a tiny plastic world of imagination, you need to, you know, actually craft that world. That's enough of the jibber-jabber; let's check out the haul for Weekly Roundup #4:
Tumblr media
First up, we have a single loose figure. He's some sort of knight, judging from his armour, and I'm going to use him as a background piece. He's cool looking. No articulation other than his axe that goes up and down in his hands, but since he won't be the focus of any scenery, he's not hindered by his limitations. This is a Schleich figure, and is probably the only one I've ever owned.
Tumblr media
What year is it? 2018? Then why do I keep buying twenty year old toys? Because they're my heart and soul, that's why. I actually already own a Black Cat, loose out of the package, which I bought eight or so years ago. She came in her packaging, so I have all her accessories and everything. I didn't buy these off of eBay for Black Cat. No, I bought this lot simply for the Jessica Drew Spider-Woman. I have this same figure, but the dark blue and white Julia Carpenter version. I don't know if I've mentioned it previously, but I'm not a fan of Spider-Man AT ALL, but I own more of his action figures than any other character. That collection includes his allies and villains, of which this is my second Jessica Drew figure, with the other being an older Marvel Legends figure. I'll likely resell the Black Cats just to free up space.
Tumblr media
I'm not super pressed on these WWE zombies, but I told myself that I would buy all of the third wave so I can make an awesome Halloween diorama. I would've waited until closer to that holiday to scoop them up, because Five Below has a healthy stock of them, but as you can tell from the photo these were on clearance at Target. Sure, I only saved a wee bit over a dollar for each figure, but that's three plus dollars that can go towards something more important. I'm only missing one of the set of six and that's the 'Phenomenal One'. I'll own him soon enough and I'll get started on that diorama.
Tumblr media
Here's that bit of random that I have to get every week. I saw these little toilets in Five Below one day when I was with my kids, but they were five bucks a piece, and the way my wallet is set up... Let's just say that they stayed where I saw them. Then I saw more at a different store, and they were cheaper, but I couldn't justify the price still. When I saw them in Target on clearance, I grabbed two. I don't know if that's enough. I bought them simply to set up some bathroom scenery. Their for 5"/6" figures, so my new favourite childeen won't get to experience them, but you can't have yer cake and eat it too. The Ready Player One figures were bought at FYE, for dumb cheap. For those not familiar with the slang, in this case "dumb cheap" translates to just over two bucks for them. I had been eyeing them in Target for a few weeks, because they're 1:18 scale and they're not what most people collect, but they were too much at Target, even after they hit clearance. I'm glad I saw them when and where I did. I scooped them right up.
Tumblr media
I was trying to post these photos from least excited about to most excited about, and to a certain extent I've succeeded at that, but I'm actually very excited about this lot. They were all bought at Collectors Corner, as was most of the remaining items. I bought both the Mace and Lando as potential fodder for modifications to the Rage I bought a few weeks ago. Sadly, I couldn't get Lando's head off, and Mace's didn't fit onto Rage's body, so I still at the drawing board with Rage. They're cool figures. The Lando is probably my second or third favourite figure that I bought this week. He's damn cool. Lieutenant Yar was just a random purchase. I have some ideas for her, but we'll see.
Tumblr media
So here's the thing: you can't collect 3.75" figures without at least getting a whiff of G.I. Joe. That brand is inarguably the one that made the 1:18 scale line what it is. With that being said, Joes are dumb expensive. Like, really bloody expensive. And they're hard to find in the wild. That's why lines like Lanard's The Corps, which has been riding the wave of Hasbro's Joes almost since the beginning, is an excellent fill-in. The two three-packs of figures weren't even twelve bucks. I'm not sure right now, but I don't even think they were ten bucks total. That's insane. Then there's the US Army figures. I didn't even care too much about them, but I wanted their accessories and setting. They'll blend in perfectly with the other soldiers.
Tumblr media
We're getting down to the nitty gritty here. Fun fact: I've never typed the phrase 'nitty gritty' in my phone prior to the previous sentence, but auto correct knew that that was what I was going for after only typing in the first word. I digress. If you've been paying attention to the way I do the photos, I typically keep DC figures with their brand, and I do the same for Marvel. This week I've got a healthy amount of each, and I wasn't entirely sure which brand deserved to go on last. Ultimately, I went with Marvel because of volume. Simple as that. Now that that's out of the way, I would like to add that these DC offerings are fine figures. The Hawkman is fantastic. As the same with all the DC figures I've bought, I notice that they lack the same size and articulation as Marvel, but that doesn't stop them from being good toys. Hawkman looks cool in animated form. I honestly can't imagine him being in a more realistic sculpt. By the way, everything in this photo is from Collectors Corner. The last time I was there, there were three of the Green Lantern film two-packs, but this time there were only the two. I honestly only went back to pick up all three. The other characters were Kilowag and Ranakar. I'm disappointed that I missed out on him, but I'll get him eventually, along with some other Lantern Corps members.
Tumblr media
Another thing Collectors Corner had an abundance of the first time I went was 3.75" Thor-related characters. Last time I picked up a bunch, but they also had multiple actually Thors that I didn't pick up because I didn't really like the look of Chris Hemsworth. They didn't have any this time, although I had decided to buy them if they had. While I was searching high and low for Kilowag, I came across most of what you see in this photo buried at the bottom of the bin they were in. The Spider-Men are meh, but the Lokis are amazing, and the Daredevil is the best figure I got this week. He actually was on a peg, so he was easier to find. The Spider-Man Homecoming two-pack was found at TJ Maxx, and what a find it was. There were three of them, and I was contemplating getting at least one more but decided against it. I haven't seen that film, but the suit Spidey is rocking is fucking sexy. Vulture is Vulture, and he's cool, too, but I was more impressed with the Spider-Man. It's crazy; although I don't care about Spider-Man, he's still managed to be the most numerous figure in my quickly growth 1:18 scale universe.
Well, there you have it folks. Another week, a other crazy, THRIFTY haul. I'm proud of myself, and I mean it this time when I say next week I'm going to take it easy on the figures. I'll be super busy with work so I won't have any time for figure hunting. 😉. Have a good week, y'all.
