dog cafe dates. the excitement he has when he sees multiple dogs running to him. seungcheol hadn’t touched his dessert when tapped your shoulder, “yn look,” he whispers to you when you see a dog in his lap, sleeping peacefully. and wow, it makes your heart melt, “do you want to feed it?” you give him a snack for the dog, the dog immediately jumping at the sight of it. looking at the dog who is licking seungcheol’s fingers, it would definitely remind you of his dog kkuma. seungcheol would hold your hand as both of you would talk about pets. this date was definitely such a serotonin boost for seungcheol and you would know that he might visit this café more often.

yoon jeonghan

lego building dates. “flower lego set?” with music filling the room, you and jeonghan would have different things to build, “there’s so many blocks…” you mumble to yourself as you look at jeonghan who’s calmly working on his lego set. “i finished the other flower,” jeonghan would always tell you when he’s finished with each pieces. each lego building with jeonghan will never be awkward, his hums with the music and the sound of clicking of legos, this date with him is always calming. as both of you finally finish building the lego set, he would smile as he places his flower bouquet lego set next to your orchid lego set. “let’s build a castle next,” he jokes, making you playfully slap his shoulder.

hong joshua

pottery dates. pottery has become one of joshua’s many hobbies, and he thought maybe he could show off his neat skills. “you’re doing amazing yn! love the handle of the cup,” joshua would compliment you doing the little fixes of your cup, joshua would also try to help you out with your cup, hands touching, “here, so you do this…” he quietly says as he guides your hands, smoothing out the clay. even when he’s focused on painting his plate, you would see him stealing glances at you. you’re painting stars and (◠‿◠) in your cup, which joshua would notice and give you the same eye smile. both of you would place your finished products in the coffee table and place paper flowers in the cup.

wen junhui

picnic dates. “okay, three, two, one” as junhui removes the blindfolds, you are welcome with the morning light, and junhui’s warm smile. wine glass are filled with refreshments as you both share stories and just enjoy each other’s company, you also take pictures of junhui from time to time. playing with junhui’s hair as he’s resting his head on your lap, he looks at you with eyes that are too much for your heart to handle. “question, do you love me?” he asks you, even though he already knows what you’re going to answer. with all your heart, you love wen junhui.

kwon soonyoung

amusement park dates. the atmosphere is filled with energy and screams of both kids and adults. both of you hold hands after a fun go-kart ride, “maybe we could grab something to eat,” you mention before soonyoung goes to a full stop before running to the large rollercoaster “let’s go ride that rollercoaster!” as soonyoung drags you closer to the ride, you feel a pit on your stomach, seeing the large loops and hearing the loud screams of the people. the ride would be shaky as you’re taking deep breaths, you look at soonyoung who’s telling you how much he loves you and how he’s going to miss you and everyone, you begin to become teary eyed, not because of soonyoung saying he loves you, but because you’re almost at the drop.

jeon wonwoo

videogame dates. so many games to choose from, maybe switch games, or maybe stories with storylines. “we could play bread and fred,” you mention as wonwoo looks it up curiously. wonwoo’s room could be filled with screams, seeing your own character literally face plant would be the most funniest and stressful feeling you have ever felt. “if we jump at the same time–ah AHH,” wonwoo screams as his character accidentally falls with you. but at the same time it could be filled with tears. as you tear up from playing a sad game, wonwoo would wipe your tears away, cuddling with you.

lee jihoon

sleepover dates. “it looks so pretty,” jihoon looks at your bright smile at the pillow fort that he made for you. there would be bunch of snacks laid out neatly and the tv is airing one of jihoon’s favorite anime (what a nerd). as jihoon rambles about the beautiful gem that is cardcaptor sakura, he looks over to you sleeping, as much as he wants to watch you sleep, how dare you sleep on his essay. you jolt awake, feeling a bit of pain on your forehead. “i haven’t finished talking and here you are sleeping,” jihoon says as he steals the blanket from you. “it’s too cold!” you get closer to jihoon, cuddling close to him. “i’m too tired for this..” you say which makes jihoon laugh, “yeah, i’ll tell you about it tomorrow, just get some sleep,” you look at jihoon with tired eyes before saying quietly, “goodnight..”

xu minghao

dinner dates. “you look handsome tonight darling,” minghao smiles before gently holding your face and kissing your lips. the mood of your home is romantic, rose scented candle is lit and piano is quietly playing in the background. minghao would tell stories of his family and many more you haven’t learned about. clinking your glasses, minghao shuffles in his seat before giving you a small box. “i thought you might like this…” as you open the box, you find a small silver necklace, decorated beautifully. minghao smiles when you give him a tight embrace.

kim mingyu

shopping dates. mingyu is literally going to drag you around each shop that catches your eye, like would notice you would be eyeing at an outfit at the window before mingyu is just casually saying, “wanna buy it?”. even with the tags in your outfit mingyu would immediately be taking pictures you as if you are an actual model. “yn, what do you think of my fit?” don’t forget to give him compliments when he comes out of that dressing room looking stylish. “i think this ring looks pretty on you,” mingyu shows you a lovely ring before sliding it on your pointer finger, see now you guys have matching rings.

lee seokmin

joyride dates. seokmin would blast the speakers with his favorite songs, having a fun time just driving around. “can i press the horn?” seokmin at first would look at you confused as you are unbuckling your seatbelt, BEEP BEEP, it would go quiet before seokmin would burst out laughing. you guys would have food bought from mcdonalds and park at some empty parking space. “stop stealing my fries!” seokmin slaps your hand away. you guys would stargaze at the sky, taking a sip of your drinks. “isn’t the sky beautiful tonight?” he looks at you curiously, before thinking about what to answer. “yes. you’re beautiful tonight,” he answers, as he gives your hand a tight squeeze.

boo seungkwan

arcade dates. as soon you guys would walk in, there’s so many things to do in this bustling arcade, should you and seungkwan shoot some hoops? play fighting games? you find a thriller shooting game, taking him as he says, “wait! what if we actually die..!?”. after trying to save seungkwan from a bunch of zombies, you notice seungkwan’s eyes sparkle, the claw machine has a stuffed bear that has the vibes of seungkwan…? “UGH! THIS CLAW MACHINE IS RIGGED!” seungkwan sighs in frustration as he looks at his game card, he has one more try. looking at you gives him a bit of hope, as he looks at the toy, carefully, it drops. you and seungkwan scream in excitement, quickly grabbing the bear, seungkwan looks at you before giving you a quick kiss.

chwe vernon

ice skating dates. vernon was always the type to try out new activities and this one was another one on his bucket list, “woah, woah,” the cool air brushes against your face as you slowly put your skates on the ice ground. vernon, of course is easily gliding on the ice rink. he would try to help you get used to skating, though it usually causes both of you to slip on the ground. “vernon, don’t think i could do it anymore…” you tell him, “ai, come on get up, get up,” he takes your hand, pulling you up. “let’s take things slow, ‘kay?” vernon holds your hand, as both of you carefully move around the rink. though there was a bit of shaking and nervousness from you, vernon is willing to take things slow for you.

lee chan

beach dates. “chan! how do i look?” ‘wow, can i marry you right now?’ is what chan would say to you, but he can’t form any other response but just “wow,”. you and chan would collect sea shells, looking the most prettiest one and showing it to each other, “mine looks prettier,” you say, “no! mine is better!” chan retaliates. other cute things you guys would do, hand holding while walking along the shore. it’s sweet and all until would suddenly push you close to the water, falling in the process. “you little shit!” chan laughs at your predicament, “wait yn! no AH!” you grab chan into the water getting him soaked. “now we’re even,” you grin as chan laughs, tackling you.

It's the final EP!!!! Where will I get my next serotonin boost then? 🥺🥺🥺

1. Achi's cherry has been officially popped (hehe *wink wink 😏). He has now lost his mind-hearing power. However, Karan, it's too early in the morning to be this cheesy though 😅😅😅

2. Awww. Achi's new co-workers are so sweet (even though they prioritise playing football above all else 😂).

3. Why is Rock holding the monitor though? 😅😅😅 Also, holiday bonuses is the GOAT.

4. My SingJan heart 🥹🥹🥹 Rock represents all of us in the workforce that have unrealised dreams. Pai is right though. Nobody can really stop you from doing what you love as long as you have fun doing it. That fan sign though 😂😂😂

10. I will never understand parents avoiding necessary conversations with their kids. It's not as if the issue will go away if they ignore it. Karan's mum is every bit of a cvnt (along with the silent, useless father).

Big Sis Karin is the real MVP. I just want to slap Karan's parents (especially the mum) after Karin's monologue. Karan stopping himself from holding Achi's hand because he noticed his Mum is looking is very fvcked up (it broke something inside of me 😭😭).

Karan is lucky to have Achi, but I think he is even luckier to have Karin as his concerned, protective big sis.

I'm really happy with how this series turned out to be (although they did not show when Jinta will lose his powers too lol). So far, GMMTV remakes are managing to give proper respect to the originals without becoming a copycat. I think with this series, we (and by we, I mean the PolCa fans) can breathe in relief that TayNew is really back.

Now, to wait for 23.5 degrees 😭😭😭

Can you give me a few art tips i want to be able to draw sin kiske too

I am not the greatest at explaining things or giving advice. These tips are just what many artists have already said and points that *I* personally agree with or have helped *me*. The reason why I am putting emphasis on myself is because everyone is different so what helps *me* might not help you. These things you will have to figure out yourself, BUT there are many MANY art tutorials from different artists with different styles so maybe you can find something there! Anyways moving on-

Don‘t think too much and just DOODLE DOODLE AND MORE DOODLING

I am serious, turn that brain off and start doodling. I had this mental barrier for sometime (that I am still struggling with) where I just didn‘t feel confident in my art and didn‘t even wanna START drawing, bc I felt like everything sucked ass. But just turning that brain off and mindlessly doodling is so SO great because it doesn‘t have to be perfect or anything AND through the repeating motions of sketching you‘re training your hand to become better at making nice smooth strokes. Sketching mindlessly is honestly very theraputic for me, cuz I just get to have silly fun. There‘s no pressure in doing things. AND sometimes doodling mindlessly can lead to great ideas.

Tracing/Referencing

Ik there‘s lots of discourse about tracing and referencing in the art community, but I can only tell you that this has been extremely helpful for me and getting my anatomy right. While tracing helps getting the placements of body parts and lines right, referencing really helps train your eyes what to look for. You‘ll start to recognize familiar shapes that are prevalent in almost all body types or certain things that are almost always there in nature. Tracing can also help you get more familiar in the way that you draw certain things. These techniques are all about familiarizing yourself with whatever you‘re trying to draw (bodies, faces, landscapes etc) and engraving it into your mind. Ofc if you decide to post something where you traced or referenced something it‘s always good to show your sources, but this is mostly something to do in private.

Take breaks, treat yourself with something nice :)

Art can be tiring, so be sure to always ALWAYS take breaks when you feel like its about to get frustrating and maybe eat something, do something else to replenish that art juice, yeah? Breaks can last however long you want. Whats most important is that you won‘t start hating the process cuz this shit can be mentally taxing so breaks are super important. Even if the break takes a year or something, art can always wait and its not like you‘ll immediately forget all your skills that you have gained yk? Maybe you‘ll get rusty but muscle memory is one hell of a thing. You‘ll get the hang of it in no time!

Get shiggy wiggy with it

What I mean by this is to just have fun. Art is supposed to be enjoyable, so I say go crazy, go stupid with it. Like who gives a shit if its stupid or cringe? Just have fun! Don‘t let someone ruin the fun in art for you, okay? These people stink anyway smh my head… they just don‘t understand the joy of creating a beautiful art piece about ur favourite charaters doing dumb shit or kissing each other. (Just uh… don‘t get illegal with it)

Get obsessed with something. I am very serious about this

Unironically, getting obsessed with a character or franchise has helped me a lot to keep being motivated to draw. Like a character that just makes you so so happy that you just keep drawing them (I mean, look at me 💀), which goes back to the first point. Being obsessed with something can keep you drawing something for a long time. And it gives you a big ass serotonin boost. However-

Try something new!

Drawing the same thing over and over again is great, but it can get stagnant really quick. So sometimes you have to try something new, stuff that might be difficult or things you aren‘t really confident yet (like hands. Yeah I know, its a nightmare). Doing this will make your skillset much bigger and may deepen your understanding on how stuff works cuz this art stuff is really interconected. Like, if you know one thing then maybe you can also do the other.

Take it slow. Be easy on yourself

There is ALWAYS this constant need to improve. Especially on social media, where artists are expected to improve in lightning speeds or post the perfect art pieces (and tbh some of these might be self imposed too). But you really, you don‘t. Just enjoy it at your own pace, be proud of the stuff you made. Save it, keep it and look back on it to see how much you‘ve improved. Don‘t view art as something you need to be perfect at, but just as something that makes you happy. An outlet for your feelings. Something to do when you‘re bored. Or stuff like that, cuz it‘s really not that serious UNLESS you want it to be like a job or something. So be patient, because art is a marathon, not a sprint. There is no need to hurry.

Aannddd if you wanna be able to draw Sin specifically then channel your inner whimsical creature, become jolly, be silly and get shiggy wiggy with it :)))

Hello! I was just reading your ask replies and thought I’d send one of my own:-)

Sometimes I wonder if I’m reading too much into jikooks relationship w/ each other - they clearly are good friends! But sometimes I think maybe I’m just seeing things, when it comes to something perhaps “more”.

But then when instances happen like jungkook starting his live (on white day no less) at 8:11pm (when we think that 11/8 or 8/11 is an important number to jikook) I’m like hmm ok…. And there’s been so many other things like this, surely it just has to be TOO big of a coincidence ?? Because it keeps. happening.

I can think of many times this number has popped up, even like one time Jungkook included it on his Instagram story when it wasn’t even that time in Korea when he posted it.

I just don’t know !! I never know what to think haha. it’s not just number theory that makes me believe in jikook but it’s one little subtle thing that seems to keep cropping up

Yeah, I think for a lot of people, it’s the suspicious moments for them that just keep adding up, you know? To be honest, all the theories can sometimes be a little much for me. Not to say there’s nothing to them, they just seem to rely so heavily on cultural nuances that I don’t completely understand or have context for, and to be honest, I never needed them to see something going on between them. It was just the very obvious stuff that stuck out to me, which is that:

They do seem like best friends. But when said best friends also seem like they’re probably very likely both queer/into men, and also sort of seem into each other, then it’s not out of the realm of possibility to wonder if something more is going on. They do a lot of things that best friends do (watch the same tv shows, have a billion and one inside jokes, spend so much time together that their other friends mix up their names, always gravitate to being in each other’s space). They just also do things that seem kind of… sexually charged sometimes? (Getting visibly distracted/flustered by attractive pictures of each other or flashes of skin, checking each other out pretty obviously, biting each other on the neck hard and long enough to leave a mark because the other wouldn’t stop spinning them around in their arms 😬, posting sexy thirst trap birthday wishes for each other, calling each other sexy, touching each other much more than strictly necessary, just straight up flirting wow there are a lot of these).

And it’s just… usually when you have two best friends who are sexually attracted to each other, that’s a pretty solid foundation for a pretty solid relationship. For most people it’s kind of a no-brainer, actually. That’s not to say the relationship will inevitably last forever, if it’s even official enough to be a relationship. That’s for them to know and define, not us.

I’ve accepted that we’ll probably never really know, and that’s okay. I want them to be safe, and happy, and at peace more than I would ever want my suspicions confirmed. I don’t really need them confirmed anyways — I have fun watching original content and the occasional Jikook serotonin-boosting compilation, and joking around on here with other people who see and appreciate their magic with me. It doesn’t have to be that serious. Welcome to the club 🥰

Long time no see

This isn't going to be a normal post, with the date, and a fun little summary of my day

It's going to be a bit of a rant about my life recently

Nothing too triggering, just me explaining something that happened recently and how I feel about it!

content I will be covering: depression, grieving, neurodivergency

I've been feeling a bit depressed recently, which I thought was weird until i realised one of the reasons was hormonal, and then realised the other reasons. This week was the anniversary of the death of a loved one, and another loved one is starting chemotherapy and I'm at university and won't be there.

Realising why I felt so shitty has helped me feel a bit less shitty, but when the depression was worst I really struggled to keep up with university work. I did my assignments and submitted them on time, early even, but lecture content went over my head and I was zoned out for pretty much all of them

To make matters worse, I have a new hyperfixation that has hit harder than other recent ones for whatever reason, and that has meant what energy I do have has been spent engaging in that - serotonin and dopamine boosts and whatever.

Plus! I've not been sleeping well! Probably due to my flatmates (and their friends) deciding our kitchen is the best one to be in, talking and laughing loudly until 3am.

Anyway, the main reason I made this post was to talk about how I struggled asking for help with my situation. Yes, I complained about it to people, but I always ended it with "I'll be fine".

Today, I admitted my friend how it really helped when he explained the lecture content to me - he was doing it as a revision technique for himself but when I actually focused on it he made much more sense than the lecturer.

So we decided that once a week we will spend a couple hours going over the lecture content in a much more informal fashion, so that we both understand it.

I've also decided I will go to bed earlier and wear my Loop earplugs to sleep better.

We will see how this pans out, but hopefully these small steps will help me get closer to fully understanding my course.

[insert clown emoji] but this was such a cute little sentence !!! i hope you enjoy it!! my favorite fact about kanda is that hes into gardening bcos it is THE CUTEST FACT EVER i thank hoshino every night before i go to sleep for that honestly !!! <333 it got a little out of ahnd so im putting some of it under a read more !! :') <3333 (also i do not know a lot about gardening so this might feel like a random set of plants but thats bcos theyre the only plants i know IJSUFHUSEFHSE)

The first Sunday in May is an important day in your household. It’s repotting season in Kanda’s small indoor garden. You help him as much as you can with great joy but must admit that you don’t really have the same green thumb as your husband does.

Not all plants are repotted today but he usually goes around and inspects the plants the two weeks up until today to determine which needs a new pot and which can stay in their current ones. It’s a fun experience for you, to see your oh-so-stoic husband so relaxed, talking to his plants as if they had life – which they do of course, but you seem to disagree on what kind.

In front of the worktable there’s seven plants situated. Next to the table there’s two bigger pots requiring new soil, he says. Next week you’re going to attend the flowers in the garden outside and it’s also the time where Kanda blossoms. This is your favorite season.

There’re two cacti in need of new pots and Kanda looks in the back cabinet after some in appropriate sizes for them, ranting about how his Monstera has grown so much in the last year that he might need to buy a new bamboo stick for it. “Didn’t we buy one a month ago?” you ask, situating the plants after which you know how to help with. You hear him sigh, “no that was the one for our tomatoes.” He sounds almost exasperated but after being married for so many years you detect the small smile – he’s happy to share any and all thoughts about these subjects.

“Come and help for a sec,” he says and you go to him. He’s looking at two decorated flowerpots – one with lotuses on it, the other with a simple and green pattern. “Which do you think fits the current corner over there?” he points to the corner filled with a good section of plants you’re not entirely sure of the names of – you know one is a Snake Plant, because he bought it recently. They’re all dark green in hues so you decide on the lotus one – to give it some color. He grunts out a thanks and kisses your cheek.

You’re situated by the table, currently replanting a Spider Plant – or so you’ve been told – meticulously. Kanda’s already on his third plant but with your tongue sticking out, you’re still carefully letting the soil off of the roots. Kanda’s given you pointers before but he’s learned it’s best to let you do it in your own tempo. Before he gets up to repot the bigger ones, his hand gently grabs your face to get your attention and turns it towards him, “you’re so concentrated you’re not even listening,” he muses with a smirk, “I wanted to ask for a kiss.” He clarifies before he leans in. You lean into him with a smile before he pulls away and bops your nose with his pointer, “I’ll be on the floor, if you’re so scatterbrained and suddenly can’t find me.”

You want to rebuke him but all you do is stick your tongue out at him before you get back to work. Your fingers are dirty with soil but the serotonin boost it gets you feels nice, reconnecting a bit with nature. You think this might be why Kanda enjoys it so thoroughly.

When you’re satisfied with the loose roots of the plant, you start to fill the fresh soil into the new pot halfway, making a hole in the middle so that you can gently sink down the plant. You then put soil on top of the newly situated plant and with a proud nod, you call to Kanda so that he can praise you. You hand it to him and he grunts out a positive hum, nodding approvingly, “not bad.”

With newly sprouted confidence you go to grab another handful of soil, a new pot, and the cactus that’s to your left. It’s the taller one with three … sprouts? You’re not sure what to call them – you’d classify them as three cacti but Kanda’s assured you that they’re not.

You’re not completely aware of your surroundings or your thoughts you because before you get to lift the cactus off of the ground and towards you, a prickling sensation and sharp pain erupts in your entire hand. You yelp out and drop the cactus immediately – even though it hangs on to you for a few seconds longer than you’d like.

Kanda’s up immediately at your sound of distress, his reflexes serving him well. You whine as you drag your arm towards you to inspect the damage but Kanda takes it before it reaches your face. He inspects it with a small chuckle.

“I’ll go get the tweezers.”

You’re whining at every needle he pulls out of your taut skin. The need to pull your hand back and close it to a fist is strong but his grip on your arm is stronger. He tuts at you, “you really are an idiot, huh?”

“Not fair! You distracted me with your handsome face!” you argue with your underlip jutted out in a pout. He chuckles, “my back was turned to you.”

I'm a little late sending you this sorry. I know you got an ask a while ago about Buddie and the 911 show.

I am a Buddie fan and a 911 fan. I can tell you 100% that we do not want hellers in our orbit. They're the ones that always make up the drama and spread their toxicity throughout the Buddie fandom. They're the ones that constantly make the BNF's have to constantly reassure and soothe and try to calm the drama that they've stirred up. They're constantly crying queerbaiting and prove that they don't understand the word they're throwing around because this show has excellent queer representation already. They constantly hate on both actors that play Buck and Eddie, claiming that if the actors don't whole-heartedly embrace Buddie going canon then they're homophobic. I cannot tell you many times Ryan Guzman who plays Eddie has been labeled as homophobic by this group because he has called Buck and Eddie brothers. Which if you watch the show, they have become that. While both actors are okay with the show making Buddie go canon if that's how the cookie crumbles, it isn't enough for hellers. They're the ones that hate the slow burn route the show has taken and even forced the other actor, Oliver Stark, to remove all of his posts from social media about an episode that revolved around his character about a month ago. He was so excited for this episode and shared that excitement with fans via social media. After he got such an overwhelming negative response, he removed it. The episode got tanked on IMDB at first even though it was one of the most beautiful episodes they had done this season, especially for his character. The drama reached a boiling point. And it continues to because the show has Buck and Eddie casually dating women again.

It's just insane. Hellers are the worst. Trust me when I tell you, we don't want them in our fandom. Normal destiel fans checking out the show, sure, but not hellers. Anytime I see someone like Alyssa or Nat tweeting about Buddie, I cringe. Because they don't understand the show they're watching, how the writers work and how hard they are actually working to try to give them what we all want when it comes to these two guys, and they spread all of that misinformation and toxicity that some people actually take as gospel. And then we're left to deal with all of it as are the actors and writers. It has been an exhausting past few years, I'll tell you that.

Hellers shouldn't be allowed in any fandoms honestly. Not if they can't behave.

Hellers being assholes is always a current topic (they never stop).

I'm sorry they've infected the 911 fandom. It's one thing to be disappointed if a ship you like never happens, but to bully and harass not only other fans, but the actual creatives themselves is absolutely abhorrent behavior. I recommend (if you aren't already) using the block button liberally.

As a larger point, the desire to see two fictional characters get together to the point of bullying baffles me. Like... what benefit do fans receive if it happens? Bragging rights? Personal validation? A boost of serotonin? What benefit do they get by harassing others, especially the actors? It just makes the actors and others involved hate them and their ship, thus opening the doors for the creatives to actually go the opposite direction and avoid giving them what they want.

They certainly can't claim representation, because like you said, 911 already has it, and so do many other shows whose fandoms they infect. They did the same thing with Supergirl - it ended with a gay wedding, but because it wasn't the gay ship they wanted, suddenly the show's homophobic. Make it make sense!

Fandoms are supposed to be fun places where shipping is a hobby, not a knives-out cause. There are far too many entitled idiots who think the world must revolve around them and what they want.

I'm slowly starting to realize that making up a canon event for spidey Jamil is extremely difficult since he pretty much hates everyone or eventually gets into an argument with the few people he does tolerate 😭 (i was thinking the closest to —not a father figure, but a mentor— we know Jamil has would be Leona? Since he showed a lot of admiration and respect for him on Ignihyde's chapter BUT THEY STILL HAD AN ARGUMENT IN THE END AND wow Jamil cannot get a moment of peace in twisted wonderland huh) unless I'm forgetting someone in the cast he is in good terms with.

I was thinking this idea would fit best in a magicless au- at least for me, I find it so difficult to combine a magical world with a universe in which science stuff is the main world building factor at play. I mean, it's not impossible to make something up with both magic and science, but my brain is just not big enough for that tbh 😔

But yeah! About the how Jamil could get the spider powers could just be like all coincidence, he was just minding his own business, focused on something important, then SPIDER JUMPSCARE! I like the idea of it just coming from the school's lab, maybe a very smart student like Idia was experimenting in secret there. He sounds like someone who would do that, like, maybe trying to replicate something he saw on a superhero comic of his, why not

AND NOW THAT YOU MENTION THE AFTERMATH OF THE BASKETBALL GAME it would be so funny if Ace was the first one to find out about this entire thing. He has no choice but be Jamil's "guy in the chair" even though his abilities for such task are dubious at best.

BlueStar's Year In Review

Thought I might make a blog review post of sorts this year cause it seemed fun.

It's been a very fun year for me on here. I joined tumblr for the gifs, and for fan talk, back in 2015. I mainly focused on the Dominion, 12 Monkeys, and Supernatural shows. All of which have been off air for a while now but I've continued to find fandoms to latch onto, the latest being the Pedro Pascal character fandom.

I've only had good experiences with this fandom since I joined in, starting around July 2022 after finally watching The Mandalorian. I'd seen Pedro in other shows before, but that was the first role I really noticed him in (shame on my younger self for not paying more attention to Marcus Pike before).

Finding out Pedro was going to play Joel Miller in an HBO show that same month, after having discovered/watched the TLOU games in May/June 2022 and being a newfound fan of game Joel, it kinda felt like fate. And then going through most of Pedro's major movies and shows before and during the time The Last of Us show aired solidified my want to be part of the fandom.

This year has seen a shift in my blog in major ways in large part to the Pedro Pascal characters and fandom. It's still very much for reblogging gifs of my favorite characters/shows/movies, but I've now shifted to also being a very fanfic heavy blog, where before I was only posting and reading fics on fanfiction net.

I started writing fanfic for the first time in years because of Din in 2022, but it wasn't until Pedro's version of Joel in January that I started reading fanfic again (since SPN ended) and eventually started writing for other Pedro Pascal characters.

Through reading fanfic about these characters and writing for them I've truly immersed myself in a fandom again and it's been a wonderful distraction, especially with how stressful real life has been in recent years trying to find a job I can live with, and dealing with not liking where I am in life (I thought I'd have more by this age - my own house, family, etc.).

I'm really grateful for those who have had discussions with me and who have read my fics; those who reblogged and left comments and reaction gifs that made me smile (reaction gifs are so fun). While I do write for myself first, every note has given me a serotonin boost, and it has lead to me having my first ever post with 100 notes! (And it's for one of my favorite fics I've written Sweet Summer). Notes aren't everything, but they're worth celebrating! They make me feel like I'm a part of something and not just in the background. I like contributing.

It will also be based around one of my favorite things to write besides smut. Take a guess.

After Baby Fever is completed I'll be looking to start writing another series, this time for Dieter called Unknown which will share a bit of plot and humor with that Disney movie The Game Plan (hopefully - I don't write humor much) but Dieter-fied. It'll feature less sports and more romance and angst. My two greatest loves.

Okay, frens, I’m about to probably be a lot less available once NaNo starts tomorrow. Which is kinda saying something, given how I’ve been pretty absent lately. Being sick sucks rocks through a straw. 😕

However, the exceptions will be if:

I’m stalling (despite the fact I’m probably panicking that I’m not writing at the same time 🤷‍♀️)

I’m blocked (in which case I might ask for prompts just to try to get something short going again)

My writering muse* is being a little jerk (there’s no cure for this 😣😛)

(*I just caught this weird typo and left it because “writering muse” felt appropriate for some reason, lol, kinda like she’s wandering around, maybe gonna write eventually... 😛)

Again, depending on how I feel/how things are going, I may start editing and posting things just to give me a much-needed serotonin boost. We’ll see!

I’m hoping going to write “The Price” (Frosthunter, The Flash, NSFW) in its entirety because I have a total of one (1) person at AO3 who has politely asked me about it a couple of times over the past - what, year? Two years? - since I first mentioned wanting to write it. Just when I’m about give up on it, this lovely person writes me a sweet note saying how they hope I’m doing well and that I’ll still write it one day. And that gives me the strength to keep fighting on, lol!

Despite the fact that, well, Zoom isn’t usually a laugh riot, “The Price” is intended to be rather explicit smut with a humorous slant. Just how explicit and how humorous... we’ll find out together! Even if it’s just me and that one lone person over at AO3, lol!

(If you ever wonder if your comment will make a difference, then I can promise you that yes, it definitely does. Just knowing that somebody cares is SO important. 🤗)

Secondly, I want to finish “Cupid’s Kiss” (Snowells, The Flash, NSFW) and “Guardian Angel” (Snowells, The Flash) at long last. 🤞😣🤞

This will probably close out my Flash fics for now. I wish I could’ve gotten them done sooner but... Life, right? 😕 I hope that anybody who still cares how they ended will get the chance to see them.

“Try” (aka the Big Beast of ReverseSnowThawne) still might randomly appear one day, despite being a thing that exactly zero (0) people probably want to read, lol. But I still want to see how it all works out and it has worldbuilding and there are already 3 chapters written so... We’ll see. It definitely has enough mileage to it to give me the 50k for this NaNo.

Over in the world of Halo... “15 Minutes” chapter 6 (John/Reader) and “Recreation” chapter 3 (Kai/maleReader) are in pre-planning. (“15 Minutes” is the rare beast of mine in that I actually have so many events still in store for it that I’ve done an outline. As a long-time pantser, that’s saying something, lol!)

“Choices” (tentative title, Noble Team x Reader, Halo: Reach) is something I’m still very excited about! It starts with the premise in chapter 1 where the reader meets Noble Team. At the end of ch1, you’ll choose who you’re going to go with and there will be links to the appropriate chapter that will conclude the story with you and either Carter, Kat, Jun, Emile, Jorge or Six (male and female versions).

I’ve always loved Choose Your Own Adventure type stories and after reading @lialacleaf‘s awesome and super fun Master Chief x Reader interactive fic “The Medic,” I was inspired to try my own variation (mine is, of course, a very simplified version, you only make that one choice of who you’re going with but still! Similiar if simpler! 😁)

I've been kinda bored with my Tamas lately, so I decided to start up some generic virtual pets to keep things interesting.

This is a Touma Pet. It's a shameless Tamagotchi knockoff 😂 but you know what? I actually like it 🤷🏿‍♀️ The pets are not super needy and the device has its own quaint charm despite its shady beginnings 👀

This is the second edition that features removable AAA batteries and a different interface than the previous version (which had blatant knockoff Tamas). It feels well made and weighty with batteries installed. It has its own original characters (12 I think 🤔) and 12 unique games you can play to earn money (including a flappy bird clone 🤣). I know people have complained about the shitty speaker quality but despite that, the sounds are adorable and fun! (just keep the volume on the lowest setting lol) There's also a lot of cute animations. You can farm and sell crops, go to the movies or amusement park, go on a trip abroad, or just go to the local park for a serotonin boost 👌🏿 There's also close range chat features and you can send your pet to another device! I just ordered another one so I can test that out.

It has some things in common with the 4u/On/Meets Tamas (changing room decor, marriage, traveling to other locations, school/work, shopping, generations) but they so far seem to handle them differently.

The only con is that pretty much everything requires the in game currency.... Except 💩 and 🚿 anyway 🙄 but honestly, with 12 different games (and farming!) it's relatively easy to make enough money to keep them happy.

For a $20 On/Meets clone, I'd say it's worth it if you like quirky offbeat v-pets. It shares some similarities with the abovementioned Tamas but it has enough original content to make it distinctly different. I'll definitely be posting more about this fascinating little critter 👌🏿

let me take you on a Journey™️

so some things you need to know about me first:

1. my obsession with pretty boys (and people in general) extends far beyond me crying about them on tumblr (which I do quite frequently). ergo pretty boys tend to pop up on my instagram feed as fashion influencers, dancers, singers, pottery artists (this is a very large niche apparently?) and most frequently: gym goers.

2. now another thing you need to know about me: i DO NOT gym. beyond not being even remotely interested in it, I also have a myriad of joint problems (shoutout jana (@disappearsreappears ) for being metaphorical cane-babes together) and therefore going to the gym and doing cool gym stuff is not really an option for me. so naturally I don’t actively engage in gym content for gym related purposes, in any aspect of my life

3. but nonetheless because I love pretty boys, and THEY love gym, I get a lot of gym content on my Instagram.

4. another thing you need to know: I spend a clinically distressing amount of time on instagram. like if you think I waste away on tumblr, instags is at least twice as bad :/

5. that means I get through A Lot of content in one day. but, while I’m pretty liberal about what content I watch and engage in, I’m quite strict about who I follow. instagram is a nightmare of suggestions and recommendations in the home feed, the explore page, and the reels so the small amount of curation I actually can do, I keep under strict lockdown.

6. therefore despite having lots of fun seeing pretty boys in my reels and smiling ridiculously at the screen as they attempt to hit personal gym records for weird shit like russian deadlifts and bulgarian split squats, I don’t just follow every pretty human i see.

7. in fact, unless I really really like your videos (/content) and they surpass my usual serotonin boost I don’t care how many times you come up in my feed I probably won’t follow you.

8. one more thing about me: I have two instagram accounts — one I created in 2013 and has been on private and will continue to be on private since then (it’s my main Instagram where I follow all my people from). and the other I started in 2021 to post more of my chaos things > that one is public and full of nonsense and I don’t follow anyone from there cause I use it purely as an memory book of sorts (it’s linked on all my tumbles so I’m not linking here but the important thing is that it’s public so anyone can see what I post < that’s important for later)

okay onto my Instagram crush and (self proclaimed) love of my life 😫

scott ho (aka @/scottoho) popped up in my reels in January this year (I think it was jan it may have been the undefined time between dec and jan but I’m like seventy five percent sure it was jan) with this sinful video (I’d like to defend myself at this point and say not all, in fact almost none of, the gym related videos that pop up in my feed are this…slutty… though I’m certainly not complaining). and I was like oh my god he’s preetttyyyyyy.

but I didn’t follow him (see above) I just liked the reel and moved on. but (for those who managed to avoid the instags hellscape) interacting once with something on there will most definitely prompt an entire slew of that account’s (and other accounts like it) content. so over the next few days I got a couple more scott related gym videos.

usually I take about a month or more to follow someone if I keep seeing their content and like it. it took me two days to follow him😫I saw an arm workout, a leg workout, and my absolute weakness, a back workout

15 jan (I know the date cause I sent his vid to a friend I was crying about it to) rolls around and a leg workout pops up. INSTANT LOVE. I don’t know what the fuck was in that video but I was GONNNEEEE about it. literally just tumbled head first into obsession

and that marks the day I started looking forward to see his content on my feed (clinically down bad at this point)

he then posted this video dancing to that adorable “sure thing” trend (“if you be the cash I’ll be the rubber band etc etc.”) and I melted straight into the earth’s core and immediately saved that video to my instags. I also went through the effort of reposting that video on my public instagram account purely so he would be able to see it! and he did! and he liked my story and I cried about THAT for about eighty five days

fast forward to me screaming shaking crying throwing up about him on a daily basis and telling my friend in LA she has to pack him in her suitcase when she’s coming back because I. NEED. HIM!!!! (she said she would but she also has my soju glasses and frankly those are still more important no matter how much I love him)

AND THEN: (cause no this is not over — I told you you opened the doors to hell)

he posted this video showing what he looked like before his workout (muscles less defined, skin not as flushed, so so gorgeous) and after (muscles more defined, skin a pretty pink, the most beautiful ever!). and the caption for the video was “before the pump and after the pump // can you tell the difference?”

and me (who is delusional but also forward as hell) commented: “pretty before, pretty after ✨” which he then responded to with “ur pretty during”.

JAE I DIED????!!!!!! HOW DARE HE DO THAT TO ME????? I FUCKING PASSED OUT!!!!!!

(and yes I know he was just being smooth with it and he defs has zero idea what I look like and he responds to lots of comments etc. etc. but love is delusional and I’m obsessed so I will continue to live in fantasy world)

anyway that comment (and his reply) got some attention (I’m still getting notifications about it which is extremely annoying does anyone know how to stop them?).

alas after this he posted a video where he and another influencer did a skit where they pretended to bump into each other by accident. it was very cute and I cried about it because the love of my life is in love with someone else what am I gonna do I can’t believe this😔😔😔😔I was in heartbreak central.

and then he posted a video showing his overnight oats recipe which I then reposted on stories with the caption “two meals in this video” which he saw and liked (when you’re in love those little instagram floating hearts really be giving you all the chemicals you need) (really at this point I’m just surprised my mother hasn’t called asking why I’m publicly thirsting over someone?)

anyway, I’m stocked up nice and full on my daily scott serotonin boost when a couple days later he posts a shoulder work out and I reposted that on my stories

(guys please understand I don’t follow him from my public account I really am so fucked I go through a whole process for reposting on the off chance he’ll see it UGH)

with the caption, “my only goal this year is to be so delusional I can pretend I’ll bump into @/scottoho on the street even though we live 10’s of 1000’s of km’s away from each other // it’s working btdubs (I’m so delusional)” which he REPLIED TO with: “maybe if you come to LA” and suddenly I had a notification from him in my direct messages 😫😫😫😫😫please I could not contain myself I think I crashed the metaphorical car . I was i n c o h e r e n t about it !!!

anyway after not recovering from that at all I am fully in the thirsting business when it comes to scott and I don’t see myself stopping until I get ignored because he got so popular he just cannot realistically reply to everyone (please that’s nightmare day😭😫) < can y’all tell I like attention?

ps. he posted the cutest ramble on his stories yesterday I watched it like seventeen times I can’t believe stories disappear I need to eat this man!

okay thank you for letting me take you on this journey. I hope you can understand I’m really going through it with him at the moment (because I’m fucking on crack and also delusional) and there will definitely be more tumblr posts where I cry about him (I can’t say I’m sorry)

hello!! i thought i'd rank my faves before the new content drops in the summer!! so let's go!!

#1 - PARADISE // BAE ft. ISSA: oh man, i LOVE this one. it's feel-good, it's summer party vibes, it's catchy and smooth and everyone blends together SO well in it!! i think the english-japanese mash is super well-done in this song, it literally makes me feel like i'm being called out to have fun and get swept off my feet

#2 - GOOD TIME // COZMES ft. SKY-HI: SKY-HI'S PART ABSOLUTELY SLAPS. OH MY GOD. I COULD LISTEN TO THAT ON REPEAT FOREVER. kanata and nayuta kick off really strong too like holy shit??? i know there are people who don't like that monotone style or too much repetition but it's really soothing to me!! AND THEY DESERVE TO HAVE A GOOD TIME AFTER ALL THE SHIT THEY'VE BEEN THROUGH!!

#3 - JUMPING INTO MY WORLD // Lollipop*universe: you would not BELIEVE the serotonin rush this song gives me . . . it's catchy, it's easy to sing along to, and you can really get a taste of everyone's personal styles, which i think is super cool! and they all genuinely sound like they're having so much fun singing it!! (plus the mv is absolutely adorable LMAO)

#4 - CALL FOR FAMILIEZ // AKANYATSURA: this . . . this song hurts my heart . . . it's so GOOD but it's so PAINFUL and i love it so much!! i get so hyped up for reo's part, i always sing the "FAMILIA" along with him LMFAO. and i really like how his singing contrasts with the flow of the song!! it makes it much catchier imo. iori's part also really sells it for me bc. well. ajksdljkadaDJK i do not think i need to say anymore than that!!!

#5 - GIRAGIRA CANDY NIGHT // CLUB CANDY: this song fucks!! it fucks hard!! like if it had a physical body it would do unspeakable things!! once again iori's voice comes out on top like UGH the way he sings <333 also that part where everyone comes together one after the other?? i LOVE that it's so cool!!

#6 - Why do you like me? // Beauty & Beast: okay anyone who says they don't like this song HAS to be lying. like. the others are all my personal opinion but the objective truth for "Why do you like me" is that it is perfect!! it's so pretty and soothing and the VULNERABILITY that anne shows in it . . .

#7 - CHILLIN' // HOKUSAI WITH AKANKYATTSURA: this one also brings me serotonin but in like!! a chill way!! reo's part also reminds me of how he is in "CALL FOR FAMILIEZ" in that it goes against how everyone else usually matches the flow, and i love that!! also the little "HAI SANSEI" in the bg are so cute?? this song just makes me feel better about myself and life in general tbh it's a lovely reminder to slow down and relax

#8 - WAVIN' FLAG // BAE: wavin' flag literally sounds like it belongs in a fantasy rebellion overthrow-the-government movie. like. it's THAT powerful. everything about it goes so hard and i have a lot of respect bc of that!! also it's just really catchy and another fun one to sing along with LMAO

#9 - For my Stella // VISTY: another song that i'm pretty sure nobody hates LMFAO. it's so bright and fun and lovely and the mv is very pretty to watch!! also aoi's part is so soothing wtf. i want them and reo just fucking up songs with their contrasts and blowing everyone else out of the water

#10 - EMBLEM // BAE + BURAIKAN IS BACK // BURAIKAN: okay so . . . i kind of cheated with this one bc i really could not decide between the two LMFAO. emblem is so sweet and fun and i love singing along to it, and the confidence boost it gives me helps a lot!! plus the mv is so aesthetically pleasing like wtf. buraikan is back is like. weirdly seductive and haunting and dark and it sucks you in like a black hole. plus the fact that the music is used for the intro videos??? IT'S SUCH A STRONG WAY TO INTRODUCE PPL LIKE WTF

lmao like all the harringrove fics are just gonna disappear when it's not at the top anymore. I love Harringrove and Steddie and honestly cannot wait for Steddie to slow down because it's so bloated right now and I kinda regret throwing myself in off the bat. I've always had more fun in fandoms/ships that are a year or two old, people who have got their little serotonin boost have left and then the serious fans come in and dish out the most delicious fics, the real shit you can sink your teeth in to. I've read a LOT of meh Steddie fics but every Harringrove one I've read has been so well thought out and aching in the best way and grounded in reality. Years of sitting with a character does wonders imo. Honestly hope by Xmas shit is done so I can read the good stuff.

(also for Steddie, Eddie tops from the bottom, I will fist fight anyone who disagrees with me)

I do feel bad for genuine fans who just want to create and enjoy fics and content without it being rushed or made out of spite towards people who really don't care lol. I've ran into a few st*ddie fans who are lovely and even ask permission to ship harringrove, which yes of course you can! I hope the whole ST fandom goes back to being stagnant around Christmas because since S4 aired it has been hell on pretty much every social media site. I think people will also get bored of Eddie or at least not be obsessed to the degree they currently are. We can hope anyway lmao

Top-5 moments of the season for you (any sport)

This is extremely long overdue because I have shit memories so I barely remember what happened especially because it's been a painful season for me so more reason for me to delete stuff from my head. (Plus I knew this list is going to be mostly about Celestino so I need to think of other moments that had given me serotonin boost hhh) Anyway, here we go!

5) F1 British GP

No offense but F1 has always been a bit boring to me and I've expected the racing to be closer this year due to the cost cap but welp, that doesn't happen unfortunately. Anyway, I remember watching this race with little expectation because I just want to fill the void of motogp summer break. But it turns out to be really interesting!! And Mick got his first points so that's a really nice bonus. Despite it all, I'm still really grateful Zhou and Alex are fine after that first lap chaos.

4) F1 Austrian GP

I thought it was coincidence and stroke of luck to get a fun race but the next weekend we are blessed with another awesome race! The podium doesn't reflect it much but it is a really fun race I had a serotonin boost that makes me go to class the next day in a good mood lol. Mick got driver of the day that race and all of my family cheers for him from what my sister tells me. It was a coincidence that my twin tunes in for the race since she usually don't and yeah, she had a blast that day especially because she's a huge fan of Mick. It was overall a really nice weekend for me and one that brings a smile whenever I recall back.

3) Moto2 Argentina GP

When Chantra won the Indonesia GP, I told my sister that I need the Idemitsu Asia duo and Cele to be on the podium together at least once this year. And then my wish come true 2 weeks later! I still think that Cele is not in the wrong in that controversial collision with Fermìn and it pains me whenever I see people blaming him for that still which makes me bitter. Yet I love the podium so much and he did awesome in that race! Plus he said in the post race interview that he meet Fermìn after the race and apologize because he doesn't want it to end that way and just hhh. That really reminds me of why he is my fav rider.

2) Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP Qatar GP

It's the first race of the season and damn what a wonderful Sunday. I only start watching Friday and Saturday session in Jerez so I don't even know Cele got pole hhh. I was gutted for Ayumu but Migno end up winning! And Cele did a dominant race and win from pole! And what an emotional win for Gresini! Basically it's a rollercoaster of emotions and I swear I look like a mad woman that day lol. But really, that moto2 race is such a huge serotonin boost especially when I hear championship leader celestino vietti for the first time and ah, that was a really wonderful Sunday.

1) Moto2 Catalan GP

Okay I will be honest. I needed that win. Especially because Mugello is so painful and seeing him on the bike and looking so heartbroken- okay. Classic Cele having a shit start and need to play catch up. I had my heart in my mouth the whole race and I can barely feel my fingers especially the last few laps. I really thought Canet got it in the bag and that little menace (affectionate) did that last lap overtake and won and I just- I was gaping like a fish, screamed and just broke down. It was relief, happiness and other emotions too and I really, really needed that. I was so over the moon it was when MotoGP about to start that I registered just how ugly that glasses he wore on the podium was lol. But that weekend is so nice it made my whole week and I still rewatch that last lap whenever I feel down because that just how much important that race is to me.

....sorry waru I end up mostly rambling about cele instead hhhh

#would have include badminton too but i didnt watch a single match this year because i cant find any stream :(((#and theres no tournament when i was home so i only know a bit from my sisters #not much of a badminton fan but whenever malaysian players win or did an awesome match it does feel good #reminds me of lee chong wei era where everyone is united and we all have a blast whenever he won in tournaments hmm #my toxic trait is concluding the whole weekend based on how cele did so yeah theres too many races being erased from my head 😔#anyway thanks waru for this ask!!#this makes me think back of all the nice races we had this year and not all races are horrible #love you 😘🫶#la réponse 💗
