Excellent video giving a tour of the restoration work being done at The Pacific Rim Institute on Whidbey Island. I had the good fortune to be able to visit while their fields of camas and golden paintbrush were in bloom. I highly recommend making the trip out to see them in the spring time!

building – 400 1st St, Langley, WA 98260 The restaurant at the Inn at Langley was one of the reasons we traveled to Whidbey Island, besides also wanting to escape the Texas heat.  Chef Matt Costello started the restaurant in 1989 and now also is co-owner of the Inn.  However his cooking duties have been passed to a fellow named Landon and the tasting menu we looked forward to has been dumbed down…
