#gay lil punch & the hand going right back into his coat pocket lol #idk what this subplot was for but. cute #mash #i guess with that episode with the french lady. she was saying how sorry she was that he isn't much of a boy at all #bc he's never carefree and never lets himself experience the whimsy. it's good 2 see him experience the stupid stuff for fun #(also that ep was like. my family won't ever accept you with your unconventional ways => reading it with DOS being closeted..... poignant) #which is why i think him + klinger subplots are so fun. klinger is impulsive and wild and sometimes v basic #and drags charles into situations he'd never find himself in. and charles seems annoyed but when hes with klinger #he lets himself be 'stupid' and enjoys doing the stupid stuff. he's not verbally nice to klinger still.. calling him dumb and all but #i think klinger is such a great guy bc he knows that's how charles expresses himself and he's just afraid to let things happen to him. #and he keeps on going back to charles for his enterprises and adventures and includes him. and charles has changed a lot thru him u know. #anyways.

The part of me that couldn't stop laughing at the game's name and the concept of "Edgelord Pinnochio Bloodborne Clone" can no longer fathom thinking of the game as anything other than "AMAZING!!!!!!! SO GOOD!!!!!!!! THAT TEAM SHOULD BE SO PROUD!!!! WHAT AN ASTONISHING CREATIVE ACHIEVEMENT!!!" I already knew I was on the "i'd recommend this to anyone who likes these types of games or wants to try them" team, but now that is 10000% And even better, it has filled me with so much art inspiration after exploring its world and collecting beautifully designed costumes. The world building/world design is so, so so so very actualized and charming.

#yackin #my favorite way to describe the story/writing of this game is #that it vibes like one of those fanfics that is written by an exceptionally talented 17 year old #because it's full to the brim with nothing but earnest whimsy and heart on its sleeve cringe #as in the type of cringe that wraps back around to being endearing due to how honest it is #because the cold hard world and bitter critics haven't stomped it out of them yet #so it's a real treat to see a polished game that plays smooth as butter have that sort of story #it's shocking how good the experience is with such a tiny team #it's just nice to get to read/experience a story with great gameplay that feels very Untampered With by moneybag CEOs #it might be my favorite souls style game now #anyway hi I woke up at 3 am today

Percy is interesting to have headcanons for because of how much is like subtext based and just reading heavily into things he says/does

like yeah ofc we know canon things about him but theres still alot of stuff you can mess with or just straight out interpret completely differently

him liking Divination as an easy example

I considerd it canon for a long time and still think of it as always true for any Percy I write because i can't see why else he would recomend it in the way that he does in cos if he didnt like actually like the class?

like it's the first one he gives Harry saying he recommends the class even. Then goes into two other classes and talking about family members who are each really into those individual topics

like to me it just reads as like.

I like this class. Dad liked this class. Charlie liked this class. So you just need to find a class you think you'll like Harry.

but ive also said that to people and got back "yeah I think he was just giving Harry a few easy class options" so it's still pretty subjective depending on how you read it
