SYDNEY SWEENY at the Tory Burch SS23 show at New York Fashion Week on September 14th 2022 wearing TORY BURCH
As a brand ambassador, it was no shock to see Sydney at the Tory Burch show. I thought her look was absolutely adorable, it had almost a school uniform vibe. I loved the necklace and how it looked with the neckline. I thought the mini dress was so cute, and I loved how the skirt flared out a bit. My favorite part was the footwear. I thought the black heels looked so amazing with the frilly socks. I thought they were just so adorable.

SYDNEY SWEENEY at HBO’s Emmy Awards After Party on September 12th 2022 wearing vintage VERSACE
Sydney definitely went for a sexier look for the after party, as she should! I thought this vintage Versace dress looked amazing. It was a great follow up for the Oscar de la Renta dress.
I’m a little back and forth on the dress. I really want to like it, but it almost looks like the draping is the slightest bit unflattering, especially in the bodice. I do really love the color, I think the green looks amazing on Sydney. I also think the mixing of fabrics is super cool. It’s a very interesting dress that looks pretty on Sydney.

Quinn talking about going on a Hōkūle’a through Polynesia and Olivia telling him she supports him and he should paddle to Fiji is great representation of how no one seems to know that Fiji is not apart of Polynesia.

The white lotus s1 thoughts
Spoilers below:
Well, I have to admit the dialog was very unserious in many instances, not to mention how insufferable some of the characters were, but I found myself picking up on their emotions. The music starts off by creating an unsettling feeling that slowly builds up as the episodes unfold. Each character seems to portray a distinct feeling.
Tanya's character embodies loneliness in its isolation and severity. My stomach would turn each time she tries to form a connection with people around her. She's swallowed up by her grief, confusion on where she stands with her mother, and lastly, how dysfunctional her relationships have been with men.
It's definitely curious how those characters are rich and literally evil, but the audience is still receptive to the intense emotions being conveyed.
We later on see Paula explain why her friend is jealous, but when Olivia's POV rolled on, I felt her betrayal even if her way of going about things wasn't ideal.
When Paula has that fight with her and Olivia takes her family's side, it solidifies her role as the outsider. She was on vacation, and it wasn't meant to last. This is her reality in the world as well as her role in this friendship.
Did I predict the ending? Yes, but I don't think that's the show's entire focus.
I really liked the story's pace and character building, even if the plot seemed too on the nose.
