- lance has a gossip problem and zero media literacy. after a long day of single-handedly running two regions pokemon leagues, he likes to go home, lay down on his bed on his stomach, and read gossip magazines kicking his feet in the air

- after green’s inaugural ball, whitney did an interview where she told the world that green was gay. she did the same thing to gold after he didn’t want to make out with her, and she’s done it to a bunch of other guys, too. the problem is that every guy does end up being gay. whitney has an insane gaydar and unfortunately it’s 100% accurate

- green started giving lance father’s day gifts (with cynthia’s encouragement), so lance drinks his coffee out of a “world’s #1 dad” mug

- after they got married, kiyoshi and elan moved to mele mele island in alola, where kiyoshi got into mantine surfing and elan started working at the trainer school

- lance was 26 when green became champion, so he’s 34 in present canon. if you remember in chapter one, lance refers to himself as “almost thirty”, which is because he’s dramatic and loves to over exaggerate everything. in one year, he’ll be calling himself “basically 40”

- after green confirmed that he was gay, the tabloids kept reporting on his romantic life in the exact same way, just now about every man green is seen around
