Well damn, stuckygirl, tell me how you really feel.

I deleted the first comment and they took the time to add a second immediately so I guess I'll leave it till they get bored.

I don't get it, why is it so hard to just keep scrolling or stick to the Stucky pairings. The filter has "Exclude" for a reason. I like to pair Bucky with several different people in what I read and what I write.

Okay. Now that I've gotten some sleep, I can make a proper post.

I know I'm new to the RP side of Tumblr, it was nice to come back to a hobby that I hadn't touched in over a decade. I had forgotten how rewarding and all consuming it is.

i think the perception of artistic skill as an innate quality one has or hasn’t, rather than a product of work and effort, has contributed to the societal devaluing of art degrees. “why pay someone money to learn how to make art when you could just make art” like, yes, but also: consider many forms of art require highly specialized skillsets that may be dangerous when you don’t have training. welding, printmaking, pottery, hell certain kinds of painting require safety equipment and mitigation of fumes, caustic chemicals, or risks of silicosis if you don’t know what you’re doing. even cheap acrylic paint shouldn’t be poured down the drain. beyond health and safety, the foundation of digital and traditional art is a lot of learning how to observe, and learning how to execute techniques for effect. obviously college is not the only way to go about this, but giving folks money in exchange for their knowledge and time is uhhh. a pretty universal aspect of all trades.

There needs to be a word for the fandom phenomenon where a skinny, (often blonde) white man will get excessive attention & love from fans for no reason other than he is a skinny blonde white man. He could have the personality of a brick, look average at best if not actually ugly, and have 5 lines of dialog or 2 minutes of screentime and people would still make content for him regardless (often in favor of more interesting, main, nonwhite & female characters)
