do any of your stories have happy endings

yes, just not any story i'm currently working on here.

i feel like just because i make depressing stories like pkmn-monochrome or other pokepastas, people get the impression that i'm a nihilistic person or i just don't like happy endings, but that's not true. my original characters pretty much all have angst that eventually leads to recovery and happiness, but you just can't see that from me here because this account (and everything it's associated with) is entirely specialized for my pokemon creepypastas, which are horror stories by nature and horror stories don't typically end happily. since that's all you see from me here, it's fair to assume that's all there is to me, but i really do enjoy happy endings even if i haven't had the chance to share them with the world yet.

I've played it a little. It's pretty funny, and the basic idea is clever, but the pacing is a little weak and there's a lot of pithiness that sounds funnier when explained out of context than when it actually happens.

this is theoretical of course, but what if myra played two pmd games at once (i doubt squirtle can be in two places at the same time)

i don’t believe that the squirtle from explorers of sky is the same character as the one that appears in the rescue team DX demo at the end. but i think the narrator is, to some extent, “cursed” to repeat history every time she picks up a PMD game and answers honestly. because narrator is, at heart, just like squirtle, no matter how much she refuses to admit it.

so the two squirtles wouldn’t be the same character, but they’d have the same goal/motives.

does the world your pokepastas happen in tend to be the same earth or are there a bunch of alternate timelines

you know, i never really thought about this but it’s an interesting question!

i like the hilarious implication that all pokepastas take place in the same universe and that there’s a lot of angry sentient pokemon out there.

i think maybe, the way i see it, the kind of creepypasta where a pokemon or trainer turns sentient takes place in a world where that kind of thing is possible. tommy boy is set in a universe where demons are real, forever mine/skye is in a universe where ghosts are real. if the cause is supernatural or malevolent AI-based, for the most part, maybe they all take place in the same universe, but it’s not the same as ours.

however, pokepastas like fallen leaf, pokemon black, lost silver, glitchy red, strangled red, and tarnished gold - these kinds of pokepastas where the story is just about a hacked cart created by an ambiguous developer... i like to think that they’re set in our real world, and the ROMs just haven’t been dumped/uncovered yet, and their creators never stepped forward. it’s certainly more fun that way, rather than viewing it entirely as a work of fiction!

what do you think about hypno's lullaby (and the fnf mod)

i’m gonna say i’m not the biggest fan of the fnf mod and leave it at that. i don’t want to get into the specifics of why, because 1) it’s a long and complicated answer and 2) i consider it impolite to publicly go off about someone’s fan-projects.

it’s one thing critique a pokepasta by an anonymous author, but these are people who put a lot of effort into a project and i can respect that. there’s just things about it that don’t hit it for me personally.

as for the original hypno’s lullaby itself, i think it’s never been one of my favorites due to its over-simplicity. it’s just a poem based on a canon pokedex entry, and that’s all. hypno’s motives are vague on purpose, and because of that, it’s not all that interesting to me.

i think it’s also been spoiled for me because some people like to make distasteful jokes about hypno and the whole child kidnapping thing in general.

it’s implied that hypno may be kidnapping children for the purpose of sustaining itself by feeding on their dreams, but i think peoples’ knee-jerk reaction is to pervert it to be something worse.

that’s not the intention of the original story, but it makes hypno as a character very uncomfortable for me to discuss regardless.
