Nicolas Brown Valentine's Day Headcanons!
Warning(s): None!
Tumblr media
— Celebrating and spending the day with Nicolas is very interesting.
You'd wake up to the smell of breakfast. As you look rub your eyes, you see a plate in front of you with a bouquet of your favorite flowers laying right next to you.
As you look to your right, you see Nicolas sitting on a chair with his head resting on his palm with a small smile on his face.
Thank you. You'd gesture to him as you watched him chuckle, as your hand and fingers intertwined with his. Nicolas would soon move your hand towards his face, giving your back hand a smooch You couldn't help but smile sheepishly.
Since he is deaf, Nicolas would leave little notes or poems around for you to notice and read. Expressing each reason as to why he loves and cherishes you dearly.
Throughout the day, the silence between the two of you is golden. Nicolas doesn't seem like the type of person to do big celebrations. Simply being together and understanding one another is enough without sharing notes.
Nicolas would even take you back to places the two of you went out / first met. A trip down memory lane for the both of you, as the two of you guys get to reminisce the glorious days before making it official.
COOKING. TOGETHER. Words cannot describe how much I see Nicolas enjoying making your favorite meals / snacks. Feeding each other as the once cleaned kitchen is now a mess.
Nicolas would surpise you with some gifts! Gifting you items that could represent or reflect a certain moment in your relationship and possibly the near future between the two of you.
It'd even be a bonus if one of the gifts were handmade. Such as the big heart-shaped floral wreath that he handed over! Now, whenever you pass the door, you can admire the time and effort he put to make it beautiful.
Photo Album! You showed Nicolas all of the photos you took on your camera. Whether at the park, in the crib, or at your dates.
He really loves picnic dates. They're so simple, unlike having to stress yourself for arranging fancy dinners. Why not just go to a park and enjoy the outdoors while eating while displaying affection to the love of your life? Perfection combination.
— During the evening, a pampering session WILL be happening. No questions asked. Cuddling. A massage. Taking a bath together. Playing a game of cards. Anything! It's a good thing to help Nicolas unwind after doing jobs with Worick or the mafia.
Slow dancing. Even though he cannot hear, he can definitely feel the vibrations coming from loudspeakers as the two of you dance in your small shared bedroom.
Nicolas is the type of guy who doesn't seem to stay asleep. He HAS to venture out somewhere just because. It'd be the middle of the night, and he'll wake you up to come join him. At least the two of you get to enjoy an gaze upon the quiet serenity.
Coming back from the midnight stroll, he's instantly cuddling with you. Making sure the covers are shielding the both of you from the cold wind coming from the slightly open window.
Nicolas would kiss your forehead, as a sign of goodnight, watching you drift off to sleep. His arms around you tightening up. Nicolas swore to himself to protect you from any danger coming your way as he slowly fell back asleep. ❤️

Cuddling a yautja
Summary: you had a hard time sleeping, so you went to go get a late night snack but ended up falling asleep right next to your yautja friend while watching a movie with him.
Contains: some wholesome platonic cuddles
The endless buzzing of the ship's interior slaving away to make sure it runs well was somewhat of a soothing noise that you've gotten used to after the past couple of months. Maybe buzzing wasn't the right word... more like humming or the sound of vibration. Almost every night you fell asleep to that noise, but this night you just couldn't. It didn't have the soothing touch you had experienced last night. Laying on your plush floor bed, your gaze wondered around your metalic room.
To the books that hung from your wall on smooth selves, from the warm yellow Christmas lights that dangled from the ceiling and the various other objects of entertainment, memorabilia, or every day use. Your mind could not just rest as your eyes grew tired. Huffing in agitation for your lack of rest, you sat up, tossing the furr skin blanket off of your body. You pressed your back to the cold metal of the ship's interior and closed your eyes.
You recalled the first day of agreeing to go on this mission, but you never truly knew what you were getting yourself into. You recalled how you freaked out seeing this alien ship from the outside and in. You recalled how meeting another life form that didn't originate from earth made you extremely anxious, nervous but excited. It's not everyday that you get to be part of a crew where one of your members wasn't human. The thrill of learning everything you could about them was something you never found boring. Even though it's only been a few months, you have grown pretty close to this alien. Closer than to any human you've known.
As the soothing cold metal wall began to warm up from your hot skin, you leaned forward and rubbed your face. You peeled open your eyes and sluggishly stood to your feet. Unlocking the padlock door, you exited your room and placed your hand on the wall, trailing the lines with your fingertips as you walked. You knew everyone was asleep by now, so you made sure to step quietly. It was easier to do so with some kind of padding on your feet, but your feet were bare. You just liked how the freezing metal felt compared to the slightly humid and muggy air of the ship.
Perhaps a late night snack would be able to get your mind to finally rest. The walk to the kitchen wasn't too long since the ship was a decently small one. Though it could hold well over 20 crew members, the design of the ship itself made sense and wasn't as confusing as the other ships you've been on. But then again, the other ships you've been on weren't alien in origin. You were somewhat surprised to see someone was already in the kitchen at this time, but when you realized who it was, your surprise left and it was replaces with understanding. The alien, the predator some called it, a yautja others said, the only alien on board that also owned this very ship, was cutting up some fresh vegetables and meat.
He turned his long-haired head towards you as you walked in. The metal jewelry in his hair-like tendrils hit together in somewhat of a musical way like wind-chimes in a breeze. His bulking but soft stature and body shape gave him the nickname "Big Papa" amongst the crew since not many knew how to pronounce his actual name correctly. His pearcing crystal watery blue eyes followed you as you sleepily grabbed an apple from the small fruit basket that had been undisturbed for a while. All the while, he kept chopping away. He slowly clicked his tusks together as he focused his attention back to the cutting board.
You still weren't used to the strange noises he made, but you found all of them fascinating. Just like his reptilian skin and earthly colorations. But the thing that you found the most striking about him was the brilliant crystal blue thin striped lines on his tendril hair. You leaned on the counter as you ate the sweet crisp and juicy apple. Though you struggled to keep your eyes open, your mind was still trailing off. The feeling of loneliness creeped in which caused you to rub your face and rub under your eyes. Big Papa picked up on you not feeling well. He had a knack for sensing ones emotions.
He ceased his chopping and you looked up at him. His mandibles rubbed together slowly, thinking. "What?" You grumbled. He let out a chuff with a small trill, turning his head to the cutting board and dumping the chopped pieces into a bowl. From what you gathered with the time spent with him, he couldn't speak English, but he understood it well enough to function with this crew. Sometimes he used a translator to speak to you and the others if things were dire or important, but most of the time he would gesture, grunt or mimic speech to communicate.
You finished your apple and he placed a hand on your should. Clicking his tusks together, he gently moved his hand to your back and rubbed it. You felt a wave of calmness hit you as you closed your eyes. You could feel yourself drifting to sleep when he suddenly stopped. A little disappointed, you opened your eyes to see him placing the bowl of chopped vegetables and meat into the cooling storage unit. It wasn't exactly a refrigerator, but you often called it that. The both of you exchanged glances before he left the kitchen. You threw the apple core into the compose bin and drousily walked over to Big Papa to catch up with him, "Wait-"
He stopped and gazed down at you, his eyes filled with such a tenderness to them. "Could we hang out for a while? I'm having a hard time sleeping... and I don't really wanna be alone." He nodded in response. He headed to the recreational room he had made just for the human crew. You followed right behind him. You almost felt like a kid following a parent due to the height difference. Though he was bulky, he tried to make himself as little indimidating as possible. The rec room had a couple of things from Earth like couches, chairs, board games, wooden tables and a TV with many DVD movies to watch. Big Papa grabbed one of the DVDs and was careful to take it out of its case. He had learned the hard way that DVDs were fragile after trying to take one out from iys case the first time around. He places it in the player and turned on the TV. This technology was very primitive to him, but he found it fascinating anyways.
He sat down on the couch opposite of the room from where the TV was mounted to the wall and you sat right next to him, a couple of inches away. The couch dipped down drastically from his weight and it felt like you were going to fall in right next to him. As if you were being sucked into a black hole. He hadn't taken much time, to your knowledge, to watch any of these movies. Seeing an alien like him watch something that was human was amusing to you. It was more of his expressions that you found funny and how he reacted.
You suddenly remembered a question you wanted to ask him from earlier today but didnt have the chance till now, "Hey, do you mind us calling you Big Papa?"
He looked down at you and shook his head no. He clicked his tusks together and turned his attention back to the TV. Halfway into the movie, you began to drift to sleep when you felt a warmth and pressure around you. It felt comforting and safe. Something you haven't felt for a long while now. You felt the need to open your eyes. You saw Big Papa's arm around you and you realized you were leaning against him. You were slightly embarrassed, but you felt too comfortable to move. You closed your heavy eyelids again and everything around you grew silent and distant.
When you woke up, you were smooshed between him and the cushions of the couch. He had his arms around you like a body pillow. His hot breath heaved down on your head but surprisingly it didn't stink like half of the other men's on the crew. You couldn't tell what time it was, but you felt like it was early. You couldn't hear any other movement on the ship from where you were. As you laid there, with his arms around you, you felt as if all of your stresses, all of your negative feelings, you felt that they just didn't exist anymore. It has been so long since you've laid with another being in a platonic way. You didn't want this to end.
You nuzzled your face into his chest, listening to him breath. He took in deep long breaths as he slept and it reminded you of a sleeping dragon. You still felt sleepy but now your mind was active. You realized that you've never cuddled up with this hulking mass of an alien before and you would've never guessed he'd be the type to cuddle. Maybe he was lonely too? Your thoughts were interrupted when he began to shift in his sleep. He placed a leg over yours and the heavy amount of pressure almost felt uncomfortable. Your body sunk into the couch and you shifted to try and feel a little more comfortable with the added weight on you. When you were finally comfortable again, his grip around you slightly tightened and now you felt you were being smothered and constricked.
You gave up on moving and just tried to relax. Closing your eyes, you already thought about the daily chores you'd have to do. Almost every day was the same which started to make you bored. You had all of the chores memorized by heart at this point. Most of your chores involved cleaning. Clean the kitchen, the bathrooms, the halls. Stuff like that. Big Papa would get upset if his ship was even slightly messy. You noticed how he liked things very clean and organized. The organization part you didn't understand though. He organized in a sort of messy way, but it was still organized... to him at least.
You moved an arm to reach over his side, but the air was surprisingly cold, so you moved it back to the warmth that had been accumulated between the both of you. Big Papa was like a heater. You thought it was strange since he was reptilian-like. You would think he was also cold blooded, but apparently not. You suddenly felt someone staring at you, so you opened your eyes just to see one of your co-workers looking at you and Big Papa. This co-worker was an early bird and she usually woke up around 6 am. She held a cup of coffee in her hand and her phone in the other.
"Don't you dare." You whispered. She grinned and took a picture of you being smothered by the alien. You knew this wasn't a devious act since she had a hobby of taking funny or silly pictures amongst the crew. The crew nicknamed her Pinkie because of her upbeat and hyper personality. It was also somewhat of an inside joke.
"This is so going into the scrap book." She whispered back and walked over to one of the tables nearby. Since the rec room was close to the kitchen, everyone ate their meals here. Soon, the other crew members would be waking up and you really didn't want to be teased for cuddling an alien, even if he was a good friend to you. You sighed and decided it would be best if you'd fall back to sleep. At least you wouldn't have to know who saw you like this. This time, it was easy falling asleep unlike the struggle you had last night. You weren't asleep exactly though, somewhere in between awake and asleep. You could hear everything around you, but when you had woken up again, Big Papa was gone and you had a large fur blanket covering you. You felt a little sad but relieved.
You sat up and stretched your body while yawning and rubbing the sleep from your eyes. You folded the blanket and set it on the arm of the couch. You made your way to the kitchen where a couple of your co-workers were making themselves breakfast. Time to get ready for a new day on the ship.

Last Christmas, I made my niece think I forgot to get her a gift. After she reassured me it was okay, I pulled out "this small thing I had that she might like". Then let her open the gift bag with an Nintendo Swtch.
We need more wholesome prank channels and less bullying disguised as pranks

This was a really long time ago, but I remember when me, my mom, and my Aunt where stranded at an arcade after our car broke down. We where a really REALLY long ways from home too and stuck for hours.
This amazing waiter and waitress gave us food, drinks, and ice cream (all completely free of charge) the entire time. They'd even make regular conversation with us to make sure we where comfortable and ok
I will never forget them, I don't know where they are or doing now, but I wish them nothing but the absolute best life can give them

Wholesome lil story for disability pride month:
I went to the dentist last week and the hygienist asked if I wanted to watch anything on TV. The screensaver was an aquarium so I was like, nah this is fine. Then I look up and there's an even BIGGER TV on the ceiling so I point to it and she says, yeah those are new! Cool huh? Sure you don't wanna watch anything? I shrugged and gave her a thumbs up at the aquarium.
The moment she tilts the chair back I start drooling, like, badly. I know my file has notes about my autism/disabilities/meds that cause this (and I'm not able to close one side of my mouth, bad combo) but they were busy and I'd never seen her before, maybe she didn't see it.
Anyway she's clearly struggling to wipe me up and she goes, "Ah so you're going for the immersive experience, I like your style." 💀
This girl had me laughing so hard, it was just so damn cute the way she said it 😩 I offered to hold the gauze/keep myself clean and she was like "Nothing I can't handle!" she was so patient with me!! MVP for real 🙌

{✮~*~A Feathered Menace~*~✮}

✮Enjoy!✮
I don't need them. The thought had burned into Voidwalker's mind- branded, even. It stayed in the forefront of her thoughts, it sent white-hot rage coursing through her body every time the memory played, ravaging her mind on a destructive loop. By now, it'd become a blur of shouting. She couldn't recall much else of it anymore. Just that the argument had been the last straw.
All she knew right now, was that she didn't need the clan in her life anyway. She could live her life just fine on her own. ...Right?
Where would I even- No, don't think like that. That's a coward's way of thinking. Voidwalker snarled to herself. You'll find somewhere. You have to find somewhere. Anywhere but back to them. You don't need them. For the god's sake, you can do this on your own!
Voidwalker, once again, began to stalk forward with her shoulders hunched. The leaves were rustling, murmuring against her ears alongside the naturally eerie winds of ShadowBeaver's Domain. branches that she had to push through creaked in warning when she shoved them out of the way, almost like they were advising her against trying to venture out.
That didn't stop her. You don't need anyone or anything getting in your way!
Where to go was something to worry about later. Who cared where she went? Her parents, probably. But she didn't care about that. In fact, Voidwalker went on, smacking a stray mushroom with her tail and watching as the glowing plant flew into the darkness. I hope that I never have to see their mugs ever again.
...
The ground beneath her talons began to turn mushy, and soft; the glowing giants of WispWillow Grove had become fewer and fewer, indicating that she was no longer in a place where the grove's mushrooms could shoot up to challenge the trees. Followed by this: the dark pine trees that she knew so well were beginning to give away as also, and VoidWalker caught glimpses of the long, drooping vines of swamp trees instead.
She stopped, did she want to go this way? She wasn't a fan of that bog that some other dragons called home. Driftwood Drag was messy! No, she'd go the other way. She preferred the other way. Anyway but into that swamp, really. Then again, going east wasn't an option either: if there was one thing that VoidWalker hated more than the swamps, it would be LightWeaver's domain. Leaving the only real option being going to the Earth flight.
Then again, that wasn't so bad: she could make a pitstop at the Plague domain that way, maybe do some studying. Wander for a bit, maybe-
"Bap!" What in the name of ShadowBinder was that? Voidwalker swung her head around, she scanned the area with a sharp crimson gaze. There, she spotted the rustling of dark leaves. The skeletal-looking dragon spread her wings to appear bigger and curled her lip back into a snarl at whatever was stalking her. They'd be in for a world of pain if this was some sort of sick joke!
What tumbled out of the bush was no dragon. In fact, Those were not the talons or feathers of any dragon she'd seen. It was a tiny thing, too small to be a newly-hatched. Its feathers were jet black, shimmering blue in the cold light around them. Accompanied by a red accent on its head and wings. What also solidified this thing as 'anything but a dragon', had to be the presence of a beak.
A grphyon! Voidwalker realized she was fascinated by the creature for a moment; before her blood ran cold. Where ever there was a baby, there'd be a momma to follow. With this in mind, she began to slowly back away. No thanks, I don't think I can take on a fully grown gryphon yet.
However, as VoidWalker turned away to go in the opposite direction. She could hear the little Pit, pat, rustle, rustle! of the gryphon trying to follow her. She stopped in her tracks and sighed, turning back around just in time to see the baby tumble over a jagged root and skid to a stop in front of her.
VoidWalker bent down with her lip curled back once more and huffed in its face, her breath made its feathers ruffle back. All this achieved was a squeal, followed by the little monster spreading its own wings and jumping at her!
Voidwalker yelled out, tiny talons dug into her nose. The shook her head, trying to get the darn thing off, but to no avail. The baby gryphon just clambered onto her snout and made itself right at home! "Alright, listen you!" She snarled as she reached up a talon and lifted the feathered menace off of herself.
"You need to go back to your mother, because I'm not getting my talons ripped off by some angry gryphon who thought I was trying to eat her baby. Got it?" She set it down on a root and turned to leave again, picking up her pace to try and make some distance between herself and the creature.
Once again, she heard the pitter-patter of tiny talons following her. VoidWalker groaned, she didn't have time for this! She turned around and slammed her talons into the ground. "Get!" She growled, glaring down at the gryphon. "Leave! Leave me alone! Get out of here! Go home!"
And yet, it did not move. It just... Stared at her, with these glowing red eyes. Well, it had guts. She'd give it that. "Ghhhh, fine," Voidwalker grunted, scooping the fledgling up into her talons and twisting back to nestle it between her shoulders.
"Only until I reach the entrance of Earth Shaker's Domain. Then you need to skitter back off into the woods, got it?"
...
Needless to say, the baby never ended up 'skittering back off' into the woods.

for anyone who needs happy news today:
for one or two years there was this random dog named bear who would show up in our neighborhood and stand on peoples porches smiling through their windows and doors (this happened to us at least 4 times) and we'd have to walk him back to his home which was a few blocks away.
we heard from our other neighbors that this kept happening - bear would just keep showing up and smiling through their windows and they would take him home
fast forward a bit - i hadn't seen bear in a while and then found out that after enough times, one of the people in my neighborhood went to bear's house and just asked if they could adopt him, bc he clearly wasn't happy at his house, and the family said yes
i now see bear (who looks very happy and well fed) being walked around my neighborhood, still smiling at people.

I personally think fake it till you make it should be changed to stumble your way through life happily like a drunk man and sometimes you might hit a bullseye. I’ll give you a wonderful example:
I’ve never really been one for chess, like I used to play with my friend when I was really small but I didn’t know anything except how to win and where the pieces go. Fun but I’ve always been intimidated by all the good players lol.
Cut to about a year ago, I was waiting before my first class and I was sitting with a friend. A girl came over, who I vaguely knew (let’s call her A) and she sat with us. A asked me if I knew how to play chess, I said I didn’t know how to play properly but I knew the basics. She insisted we play, despite me warning her multiple times that I barely knew the game. I’m pretty sure she thought I was being humble. I was not. I caved and she pulled out a chess app on her iPad and we played.
Now before we continue I’d like to add, A told me as we started the game that she did chess clubs and school and had played in a couple of competitions. So obviously we both thought it’d probably be a quick game. We thought wrong.
As we started to play I could see her face dawn with the realisation and she learned very quickly I was not exaggerating. My moves were random, I pretty much was blindly picking pieces and moving them. But that wasn’t what frustrated her, what frustrated A was that I was actually fucking winning. I ended up playing against three chess professionals, all going absolutely buck wild, because they couldn’t strategically move any of their pieces or predict my next move because I was so random. My friend also joined me halfway through and we both grinned dumbly at our fucking dumb genius.
And by some unearned luck, we won. Three professionally trained chess players had been beaten by amateurs who’s only strategy was to be capitalist pigs, taking any piece that was close to us and move any piece we felt like.
So if you ever feel like you’re too dumb to understand a concept, too inexperienced to work in your dream field. You probably are. But act like a mad man, fly into a window, and trip over nothing, because you might actually stumble into blind success.

So I went to Walmart the other day with my MIL to get a few things and when it was my turn to go through the checkout lane, the cashier looked at my crescent moon crystal necklace and asked me what kind of crystal it was. I told her it was obsidian, and she said, "I have something for you, give me one second," and started shuffling through her drawer behind the cash register. She pulled a little plastic baggy out with a crystal pendant inside, "I've been waiting for a while to give this to the right person. It's dragon blood jasper; you can only find it in Austalia," she said and handed it to me.
I felt like I'd completed a side quest or something. Out of all the people she sees come through her line every day, she picked me to give it to. Definitely something I'll never forget.

can I request a story about a cat and a duck going to space in a tiny little rocket ship together and making freinds with a star.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Stellar Friends!
Warning(s): None!
This request is adorable and cute. I couldn't pass on this at ALL. An adventurous journey with two animal creatures.
Tumblr media
As the small rocket ship floated throughout the vastness of space, Nebula looked up at the stars. There were so many of them. They glittered in the darkness, like they were on fire. The cat's tail swished idly from side to side as she gazed up at the infinite expanse above. It was a wonderful feeling. She could feel her heart beat in her ears, and it sounded as if the sound waves were crashing against her eardrums with each passing moment. She could also hear the hum of the ship’s engines, and she breathed deeply, filling her lungs with oxygen.
"I'm so excited, space! We're in space, Pulsar!" The Ragdoll giggled ecstatically, her paw and claws scraping the window. Her sea-blue eyes sparkled in the starlight. "What do you think the rest of the universe looks like?"
The crested duck rolled his eyes but didn't reply. As he always did, Pulsar ignored his companion's teasing. Instead, she looked around. "It's so beautiful... there are such different kinds of life in this galaxy," she mused aloud. "And so many planets! I can't wait to see all of them!" She tilted her head, watching an asteroid zoom past. "There's not much space in here, so please, don't move around much." The duck would say then, looking back out the window with her blue eyes sparkling and her whiskers twitching. "Space is so huge." The Ragdoll's voice was laced with excitement, and Pulsar knew she had no intention of leaving the safety of the little pod that protected them inside the small spaceship.
The more the two animals interacted with one another, however, the more it seemed like they were getting lost. Nebula was the first to realize that something wasn't right. She started to get anxious, staring intently at the starlit cosmos outside their tiny space. Even though their current position within the universe was a bit cramped, the cat's cheerful and ecstatic persona couldn't quite conceal the anxiety in her voice. "Pulsar? Where are we currently?" she called gently. The small white duck turned his head back towards the Ragdoll, pushing up his glasses. "It seems like we're lost. We're way ahead from our current destination, but..." He trailed off, not sure how to finish his sentence. His brow furrowed, and Pulsar stared up into the sky again. "We've been drifting for hours now and haven't made any progress whatsoever."
"None? But we were making progress when going through the stars -" Nebula argued. Her voice was tinged with worry, and her eyes filled with fear. Pulsar nodded. "Yes. But now... well," he paused. "... it appears like we've drifted into a pocket dimension of space." The cat's head snapped around to look at him. "What?" she squeaked softly. "It's dangerous to be out here. The temperature would rise within the ship's atmosphere, even if we were wearing our suits," Pulsar said with concern. The cat shuddered slightly. "So, we're in danger!?"
"Not quite. Not if we act fast enough."
"What about we send emergency signals?"
"They won't be able to reach us in time."
Nebula paled and leaned over Pulsar's shoulder, staring anxiously at the distant space. In her panic, she nearly pressed her face against the glass. "You mean that -" "Don't. The others on earth won't be able to reach us, however..." Pulsar looked at the control panel, pressing the yellow button. "What's that going to do?" The cat asked.
"It sends a signal to anyone in the area. With this, nearby spacecrafts could pick up the distress signal and respond." "Oh, goodie..." Nebula sighed, leaning her arms against Pulsar's chair. She rested her chin on his shoulder. The two sat in silence, both deep in thought. Minutes went by, Nebula felt her eyes grow heavy as she listened to the faint humming of the ship.
Suddenly, a thud hit their window, and Nebula jumped, knocking Pulsar over as her fur stood on end. The Ragdoll whipped her head around to look at the window alarm. A bright yellow stat was the one who 'd thumped on their window, and it was staring directly at them with wide open eyes. Nebula gasped quietly in fright and scrambled backward until her back hit the wall.
"Wait! Don't be frightened!" The star cried in a panicked tone. "I was soaring by and just so happened to hit your window on accident. I'm very sorry about that." Pulsar's body visibly relaxed as the creature apologized profusely. The two exchanged a relieved glance before turning back to the creature, who smiled widely at Nebula. "My name is Sirius. How long have you been floating in space?" The star gently removed herself from the glass, now floating freely in front of them.
MPulsar looked at Nebula in confusion. The Ragdoll shrugged and gave him a confused expression. "We don't know. We were traveling for hours and ended up in this space... dimension," Nebula said slowly, trying her best to articulate every word carefully. "We need help getting out of here, or we'll be stuck forever." Sirius blinked several times. Then she grinned, looking pleased. "Oh! You two do seem like you're in a bit of a situation, after all...it's rare to see rocketships out here." The star paused, tilting her head curiously. "Could I assist in returning you two back?"
"YES!" Nebula squealed.
"Please, we need all the help we need." Pulsar agreed.
"Follow me!" Sirius exclaimed, spinning away from the glass window. "We need to move quickly and discreetly if we want to escape detection." She would say.
It didn't take long. With the power Sirius held, she easily guided the small rocketship through the dark sky, keeping a close eye out for anything suspicious. The creatures were silent, too terrified to speak up. At one point, Sirius flew them past a large cluster of black clouds, and Nebula spotted a small ship among them. She almost let out a sigh of relief before they passed by.
Eventually, they arrived at a planet. Though it was covered in fog, Nebula could tell it was the planet that the two were originally going for. The star spun towards the window again, seeing the two creatures on the small rocket ship waiting eagerly. They were still holding on to one another's paws tightly. "Oh, thank you, Sirius! You even took us to the planet we were heading for!" Nebula gushed. "No problem! I really hope to see you guys around in the cosmos, I consider you guys friends!" Sirius laughed, and the small mammal returned the gesture happily.
"How could we repay you?" Pulsar asked. "There's no need to. Friends look out for each other." Sirius said before moving away. "Unfortunately, I have to go. I'll make sure to keep in touch! Bye-bye!" Sirius said before the star dashed off into the universe, as the two animals waved watching her leave.

I’m retyping a story my grandpa wrote back in 2009 so we can make copies of it and it’s just. It’s so funny. Like, my grandpa has no idea how to write by any conventional rules and I know he dictated this story to my grandma who typed it up so the grammar is, uh, inconsistent. It’s completely unpolished. The story itself is by nature ridiculous and (by the author’s admittance) meant to be confusing. It’s so dumb. I love it. I’m retyping it in a way that I only fix typos and not grammar or anything to preserve it. I can hear my grandpa saying it out loud and I can feel my grandma’s typing/speaking style bleeding through the page. It’s ridiculous. It’s so special, especially since my grandma died this summer. I’m lovingly preserving history and also laughing at it.

When I was in college, I lived close to these two tough biker guys. One gifted the other a Yorkie puppy on their wedding anniversary. Occasionally, I'd pass by walking my big pitbull and a 6ft tall muscular tattooed tank of a man would be walking their tiny Yorkie in different outfits. She had her own wardrobe and she really strutted around.
I told them it looked like we should have traded dogs. Bet nobody messes with her at the dog park
