ok but genuinely? taking leftover food home from your foodservice/restaurant job should be so normal. it should be 100% allowed and condoned and encouraged. sharing it, too. giving stuff away at the end of the night.

companies could be jumping at this opportunity too! helping people! lower food waste! it doesn't necessarily make them extra money directly, but people will hear about it and think "oh, that's cool, i should buy from there" and then the company will make more money. and it's helping people who can't afford food... have food. that should be worth doing!
