Could you make Yandere Platonic Nine with a reader who is helping Sonic recover the fragments of the paradox prism and at the same time becomes friends with Nine?

Now that he's become a villain, I'd like to see what a Platonic Yandere would be like.

Sure! Recently finished Sonic Prime so I am excited to write Nine in his "Villain Arc" lol. I have two Nine concepts to do but I'll have to figure out how as the general one may be similar to this 😅

SPOILERS FOR SONIC PRIME SEASONS 1-3

Yandere! Platonic! Tails Nine Concept

Pairing: Platonic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Clingy behavior, Sadism, Violence, Fear of abandonment/loss, Jealousy, Isolation, Kidnapping, Threats, Delusional behavior, Forced companionship.

Nine is not used to company or friends.

Even when Sonic befriends him, he still struggles with personal connections.

When Nine first meets you, he's cautious.

You're helping Sonic... and while you both show him kindness, he isn't sure what to think.

Kindness is such a foreign trait to him.

Yet... as the events of the show continue, Nine warms up to you and Sonic.

Until his trust is betrayed, of course.

Nine would be a selfish yandere at times.

He's volatile, manipulative, and cynical.

Later on when given power, he's even sadistic.

Nine hasn't had much experience with friendship.

So when he finds such a thing in you and Sonic, he wants to keep it.

Nine has trouble trusting... but when he does, he's loyal.

He used to be so aggressive around you... yet now he's calm and even looks forward to seeing you again.

Even when held hostage, he trusts you and Sonic will save him eventually.

Nine struggles with physical contact.

It takes a long time before he can reciprocate physical affection.

Everything seems like a threat to him.

Being a loner tinkering with machines is all je really knew...

Then you came into his life with a smile and a heart full of hope.

Your positivity is irritating at first... yet now he adores it.

He's happy to consider you and Sonic his friends.

Right up until Sonic ignores his wants with the Prism.

Yandere! Nine would definitely occur around Season 3 of the show.

Recall how determined he was to take Sonic back to The Grim? Yeah....

Nine wants nothing more than to create a new world where you, Sonic, and Nine can be happy.

Yet Sonic only ever talks about Green Hill and you look at Nine with stupid sympathy.

Why don't you both get it!?

He just wants you all to be happy!

Long story short, while Sonic tries to gather aid... I imagine Nine would keep you in The Grim with him.

Nine's trust with Sonic has been shattered... but Nine doesn't want to believe you'd betray him too.

Who cares if Sonic doesn't want a new world?

Maybe you'll understand where Nine is coming from....

Nine still makes the Alpha Grim Bots to scout Sonic, but he keeps you in the Citadel with him.

Nine may be delusional when it comes to you.

He refuses to believe you'd leave him too... you may even play into that until Sonic finds a way to resolve this.

Reciprocating his delusions may calm Nine a bit.

Deep down he is scared of losing you.

He knows he'd be better off alone... yet he doesn't want to let you go.

You both can make The Grim your home.

The Prism can shape it in any way you both wish.

Nine may even try to make creations to impress you.

Who needs Sonic anyways? He can make you a robotic one.

Actually... you don't even need that... Nine is your best friend now.

He can just use Sonic as a battery and keep you.

Nine is sadistic when he has the Prism, he doesn't care who he has to hurt if it means he keeps you with him.

He claims he's a loner, but ever since he met you, he hasn't wanted to leave you.

Even to the point where he hugs you willingly now.

Nine is jealous when you admit you still miss Sonic...

You don't need that traitor.

If he has to... he'll kill him and whatever allies you made to keep you.

You should learn that you don't need to rely on anyone else.

Anyone but Nine will disappoint you.

Nine wants to be a good friend for you.

Not entirely having a healthy grasp on what friendship is, it comes off twisted and possessive.

He's upset you won't just reciprocate fully anymore.

Why aren't you positive anymore?

Even when Nine hugs you and makes you creations with the prism... you don't smile.

... Nine can fix that... he'll find a way.

Soon... Nine will use Sonic's energy to make you both happy in The Grim...

Then you and him will be happy... he knows it... he just has to wait... then you'll smile at him again, your dear best friend...!

how would the rise or mutant mayhem twortlezzz react to have a short gremlin friend? Like would reader is short (maybe mikey's height or a bit taller) and she is a bit chaotic. Very blunt and slightly aggressive and at first seems kinda harsh but actually is very sweet once you get to know them. Also mood swings (me fr fr)

As for the chaos, he probably wouldn’t mind it as long as you're being safe

He would probably join in most of the time but he has oldest sibling syndrome :((

He does his best to keep you from danger please don’t make it too hard for him

Most times I do see him joining in on the chaos if it’s just around the lair

If it’s on patrol don’t expect him to be so careless though he is impulsive at times Raphie worries

As for your aggressiveness, I see him as the type of person to just chill and wait for you to come back when you’re doing your thing like: 🧍‍♀️

Big man is lowkey terrified of you despite the fact he’d be towering over you

I’m not gonna lie, you being kinda harsh at first would kinda put him off

Once you warm up to everybody and you properly hang out with him he’ll be a lot more open to being around you

Okay, I’ve been emboldened by your recent assertion that you don’t bite and differences in opinions are okay. I also have a genuine question for you. Mine is re: Roy and Jason. It is my understanding that pre new 52 Roy fell in love with and made a baby with a literal assassin. I’ve seen so many references from Roy fans that given Roy’s pre new 52 characterization, he could/would never become friends with Red Hood Jason. I am unable to square the circle of that reasoning in my mind, given his history with Jade/Chesire. If you were interested on espousing on this topic, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Roy and Jade's relationship never lasted in the end (despite how desperately they've loved each other) because she would not give up that life and he could not compromise on someone that close to him killing. Roy is more than willing of working with and even understanding people who use lethal force (I think I've mentioned a few times that him teaming up with Jason temporarily would work for that reason), but he can't be heavily involved with that person long term, in any way. He's an incredibly flexible character when it comes to the types of people he can get along with, and he has more love and understanding in his heart than most. But Roy draws a line for himself. He couldn't even stay in the outsiders long term because he belongs where the traditional heroes are. You can see where the difficulty is in trying to make Jason and Roy best friends, or even in carrying out a team-up as long term as RHATO.

Separate from the morality conflict, Roy also has a specific dynamic with many people younger than him that I think we forget to take into account. His interactions with people noticeably younger than him (while he was in his mid-late 20s) generally seem to follow him trying to be a leader and guiding figure, with the younger person learning from him. His friendships with those people is rarely ever the same as the friendship he has with people his own age. Jason's ~7 years younger than Roy, and is around 19-21 in the years after UTRH. That would make 26-28. Roy's experienced fatherhood at this point, he had relationships and ups and downs and established a place for himself in the hero community. Jason is a teenager who's really only just now realizing there's a life ahead of him. Any dynamic they have will need to take all of that into account. This is a huge part of why they don't work as each other's best friends.

I know you didn't ask for that last bit, but I was thinking about it a while ago and I don't think we talk about it enough. It's just as much of an issue with Roy and Jason being best friends, or anything along that line, as morality is.

If you see more aggressive assertions about how Roy would hate Jason, then that's probably frustration more than anything. Roy's entire character has been replaced by for the sake of Jason and Roy's RHATO dynamic. It's not surprising that anger makes people exaggerate or believe that because they're so personally sick of seeing it. I understand that and honestly, if Roy was my favourite character, I'd never want to hear about Jason near him either lol

#or maybe the whole mia fiasco in seeing red because it would make sense for roy to be angry at someone messing with his little sister's head #(but roy is a pretty sympathetic person and jason didn't actually want to hurt her so he still wouldn't hate him imo)#they could have a friendship and bond (esp bc roy met jason when jason was a kid! he's seen how jason's changed and roy would understand #that jason's been through a lot) but it can never be the type of friendship roy has for ex the fab five #and sidenote: i should word things nicer. im so sorry if 17 yr old me was a little bit evil #turtle mail #jason todd #roy harper

You don't understand,, how obsessed I am with their friendship omg 😭 (lil warning these are prolly ooc but I really tried 😭😭 I promise) (feel free to add on to these I love seeing other ppls hc's!!)

Ok throwback to my Ponyboy HC's post where I said Dally is really supportive of Pony's hobby in art!!!!!

Dally might be (secretly ofc he would never admit it) like the #1 fan of Pony's art, besides Johnny and Soda obvi

He really likes watching him sketch and paint, it's memorizing to him and he can't fathom how it looks like a picture from a camera almost, he tells him that too. ("I dunno how you're able to do that so quickly, Pone." "It looks like a photograph almost.")

Pony always tries to downplay his talents and Dally (ofc in his mean/tough love Dally way lol) tells him not to do that and to not sell himself short

Dally truly believes Pony could be famous from his art. That he could get out of Tulsa and make a name for himself. He doesn't really know how to communicate that to him besides the rare compliment here and there.

Another throwback to the post where I did the hc that Johnny and Dally will sit in and listen to Pony read,,

Dally doesn't like reading, never really cared for it. He thinks Pony reading all the time is a little funny and he'll tease him abt time to time.

When he first finds Johnny sitting in the lot with Pony and Pony reading one of his books out loud to Johnny he obviously had to interrupt and obviously sit with them (they're happy to include him btw they don't mind 😭😭)

Dally will not. Shut. Up. He asks Pony abt a million questions abt the book. ("Well why'd the guy go and do that?" "Why's he stupid?" "Wait what happened before that?" "What's that ladies name again?" "Wait What's she look like again?")

This is one of the very few (and probably first) times Pony talks back/sasses Dally ("Why don't you be quiet and let me finish reading the page? And then maybe you'll know what's happening.")

Idk how to explain this but Dally is def the type of friend to feed into his friends delusions 😭 or like hype them up for something they definitely SHOULD NOT do,, like ykwim?? And he def does it with Pony

He definitely encourages Pony to get into a little bit of trouble, just a tiny bit.

Obviously Pony can get in trouble on his own and he does plenty but Dally just encourages it a little bit more lol

He calls it "getting Pony out of his comfort zone" while Darry calls it "peer pressuring" (there was def a conversation/argument abt it 😭😭) (Dal: I am NOT peer pressuring him, I'm getting him out of his comfort zone. Dar: yes you are Dal! Dal: No I'm not! Pony do you feel peer pressured?! Say no. Pony: No... Dal: See?! He's fine. He's having fun!)

Dally 100% keeps Pony out of any real trouble tho, the kind that'd get him sent away or seriously hurt. He'd never encourage him to do something bad enough to warrant those things.

Ok, Dally is actually really nice but in a mean way. Like he's aggressively nice where no one's sure if they're being threatened or complimented or insulted. He's no different with the gang

If Pony or Johnny are like really bad at something Dally will threaten the rest of the gang to lie and be nice 😭😭😭 he won't be nice because it's not expected of him but he'll make everyone else be nice.

One time Pony tried to bake a cake and for some reason he just can't bake. He can cook fine but not bake. So it was like awful but ofc the gang tried it.

When Pony isn't paying attention Dally turns to the gang and straight up threatens them. ("This thing tastes like shit but you're all gonna tell him it tastes good or I swear I'll shove your faces into the cake.")

Dally has no idea WHY he does it, cuz he's not nice (he is) and he doesn't care abt Johnny or Pony's, or really anyone's, feelings (he does he's just emotionally constipated 😭😭😭)

Dally still is kinda mean to Pony though, not mean but like teasing?? Like in a big brother way

Sometimes he just says things without really thinking abt it or randomly teases him (like Pony reading all the time and being a nerd and not talking to girls)

One night they're both sitting on the porch smoking and it's kinda late and Dally randomly just says "ya'know I don't really mean it, right?" And Pony says yeah and Dally just nods and they go back inside.

After that Dally still teases him and stuff but Pony kinda knows now to not really take it heart cuz that's just Dally being Dally.

From an outsiders perspective it does look/sound like Dally is just being and a-hole 😭😭 but the gang just knows him enough that it's some weird love language he has to just be mean to them 😭

Whenever Dally's about to do something really stupid/dangerous/illegal he threatens Pony and Johnny to not do it

Before he does anything he'll look both of them in the eyes and either tell them to beat it incase the police show up or back up and hideout

He looks directly at Pony and goes "Do NOT tell Darry I did this infront of you or else." ("Do not, and I mean do not, EVER do what I'm about to do or I'll beat both of you.")

Dally is basically like the only one rlly allowed to be mean/tease Pony (in his head at least 😭)

Dally makes fun of him plenty and Pony just rolls his eyes and laughs. Dally will ruffle his hair and punch him in the arm and all that.

But the minute someone who isn't Darry or Soda or himself says something rude to Pony he just gets so mad 😭

One time he threatened Steve cuz Steve said something to Pony. ("You better shut up and leave the kid alone, Steve.") (Steve's confused cuz like not even 5 seconds ago Dally just called Pony an idiot or something 😭😭)

He's especially this way with socs and authority figures

And it's not like Pony can't defend himself or anything, Dally knows he can but he just gets mad anyways and again he just starts talking before thinking and next thing he knows he's nearly throwing hands with someone cuz they were an a-hole to his friend lol

He's basically the "only I can be mean to him and no one else can" type of friend 😭

Ok this post got a little out of hand 😭

I had waaaaaay too much fun with this I just really love talking about and making hc's 😭 I'm still trying to nail down Dally's personality so if (which he probably is,,) he's ooc sorry 😭 I literally can't help taking the characters and literally changing sm abt them from canon 😭😭 it's truly a problem but I will try to get him right 🙏

I very much respect non-binary or trans people. If i'm talking about man or woman, i'm talking about cis-men or woman i know, because often, due to societal coding/standards, there can be differences depending on the gender. But it could very much apply to you if you are non-binary or trans. Just take what resonates and leave what doesn't, as spiritual people like to say.🫶🏻

If you don't agree with my observations, please don't send any hate. It's personal observations that i'm posting just for fun. Especialy my very specific observations can only apply to certain people. So don't take anything you read too seriously. It's not a science, just pop-astrology!😎

So let's go!

Moon 3rd House: I have this placement and if i am going through something, i always need some close friend to talk to. And i feel like, if i had siblings i would probably always talk about it with them (if the relationship was great). I just really need to talk it out, sometimes it doesn't even matter who exactly it is. 🗯 I also am a singer, and this placement can indicate great singing abilities (not bragging lol), or just being great at expressing your emotions verbaly/ vocaly. You might also use singing as an emotional outlet (i did that when i was little and too shy to talk to people about the stuff i was going through). 🎤

Aries Moon: Aries Moon can have really big emotional outbursts and can be very direct and aggressive in communication without even noticing. They aren't necessarily always like this, the ones i've met were actualy very confident talkers and quite patient. But if they get too emotional or you say something that gets on their wrong nerve, they can have quite extreme reactions or be very mean, without meaning to. 🤬Also, some kind of sport might be a great emotional outlet for these people. 🥊

Saggitarius MC: I've heard this thing about Saggitarius MC being seen by the public as the "bad guy" which might not be true for everyone, but i've actualy noticed it in quite a few famous people. Billie Eilish has this placement for example, and one of her most famous songs is literaly called "bad guy". She is also known for this more dark and emo aesthetic/ music and is said to have created the new music genre "emo-pop". ☠️

Scorpio Venus: I personaly have this placement, and when i love i love DEEP, which can also lead to possesiveness and overjealousy. But i am very loyal, and just by my moral standards (my Venus is in my 9th house), i would never cheat on my partner.🖤

Scorpio Mercury: I also have this placement and i loved talking about deep stuff since i was little, and i also have no problem talking about taboo stuff. There is almost nothing that shocks me, and so sometimes i can also tend to overshare mine and others secrets, because i thinks that it's not that big of a deal, even though later on i realize it might actualy be. 🫢

Saturn in the 7th house: You might go through very messed up romantic relationship stuff at some point in your life that could very much traumatize you. It's a fucked up placement to be honest, i wouldn't wish it on anyone. (Cheating, compulsive liers, etc.). One famous example is Johnny Depp. 💔

Saturn 4th house: Your home life could be filled with fucked up experiences, especially in your family. It can go from just very stern parents to domestic abuse. You might need to free yourself from that and bild your own, secure home to have a happy and well regulated home life. 🏠

Jupiter 12th house: Could very much have a lot of secret enemies. People you considered friends might just suddenly cut contact or block you, for no apperant reason. But you could also, depending on what's going on subconciously with you, give off very weird vibes, which might be the reason people react to you like that. Some people just can't pinpoint why they don't like you and keep a friendship with you because they feel bad, and someday just cut off the relationship without explenation, because exept for the weird/bad vibe they get from you, they couldn't tell you why they don't like you. I'm not saying it's okay, but this might be the reason. People can really feel what's subconciously going on with you. So you really need to work on you subconcious stuff and listen to you intuition/ the universe, so you can tell which people are bad for you and which ones are not. Your strong intuition and connection to the universe is one good side of this placement, which can bring you a lot of great stuff if you tap into it. If you heal and give off very good vibes, you could maybe attract some amazing people and even heal people just with the vibe you give off. 🪬

Leo Sun men: I can't explain why, but every Leo sun men I've met has done some marshall art at some point in their life, and even quite successfuly. It doesn't matter if karate, jiujitsu, taekwondo or kickboxing, just something where it's about fighting. 🤼

sunoo (academic rivals to lovers!): sunoo was your biggest (and only) competition. you had always been the perfect student, the best grades, the teacher’s favorite, that was, of course, until he showed up. he managed to beat you in everything or to at least be as good as you. at first it didn’t bother you that much, but he was definitely smug about it, and that indeed annoyed the living shit out of you.

he was undeniably pretty and if you weren’t so caught up on being better than him, you would’ve certainly fallen for him bad the minute you first saw him. and then the unexpected happened: your teacher paired the both of you for a project. she was either insane or genius, no in betweens. as much as you hated the idea, a part of you was excited to show off in front of him.

he’d offered for you to work on the assignment at his place, and that’s were you found yourself. you were awkwardly sitting on his bed, fidgeting your fingers trying to come up with the best answers to the complicated questions your teacher gave you. he was staring at you and you could feel it, which only made you more nervous. you didn’t even know why you felt so awkward around him like that.

“you okay, Y/N?” he asked laughing. you looked up at him ainda scoffed an untrue “great!” making him giggle. he was so adorable you wanted to explode (cute aggression hehe) but you obviously ignore that urge. after a few silent seconds, he got up from his seat in front of you and made his way to the bed, sitting next to you.

“am i crazy or do i make you nervous?” he asked suddenly, almost making you choke on your own saliva. you looked at him with wide eyes, quickly changing your expression to seem unbothered by his statement. “yeah you wish” you answered. “really? not even a little bit?” he asked again, this time moving closer to you, if that was even possible. you looked up at him and hummed in denial, not really being capable of forming actual sentences.

“really?” he asked again, while slowly cupping your cheek and pulling your face closer to his, connecting your foreheads. you held his face gently and gave him a soft and passionate kiss, which he instantly reciprocated. you only pulled apart for the need of oxygen, smiling wide “still hate me?” he asked smugly, which you rolled your eyes to and gave him a small bump on the shoulder.

jungwon (neighborhood crush!): your mother insisted that you’d go welcome your new neighbors with her, which you weren’t so hyped for, until you met their son, of course. jungwon must’ve been one of the cutest guys you’ve ever seen, his big cat-like eyes were truly mesmerizing, and his smile made you melt instantly. besides, he was so nice to you, you and him had started a sweet friendship ever since. you weren’t close per se, but he was becoming your favorite company.

you’d often meet at the little café he worked in, which you thought suited him so well to be honest, everything about jungwon was comforting. today wasn’t any different: you were studying in your usual corner of the shop, your coffee mug now empty for a while, waiting for his shift to end so you could chat and walk back home together (and hopefully grab some dinner on your way).

“finished your assignment?” he appeared next to you, like a curious cat, making you jolt. “fuck, you scared me!” you put your hand on your chest, trying to recover. “sorry! didn’t mean to. my shift is over, do you wanna stay any longer?” he asked, concerned that you were stressed over your studies. he was definitely a sweet guy, and you’d be lying if you said it didn’t make a billion butterflies fly around your stomach once in a while. “god, no, please let’s just go home” you said and quickly grabbed your things.

there wasn’t really any conversation happening during your ten minute walk, which is something you got used to already with jungwon. the silence became somehow comforting after a while. jungwon truly couldn’t stop staring at you. he think you looked so cute, messy hair, a little pout on your face from the stress, he just wanted to hug and squeeze you right there and then.

although he’d never do that, he couldn’t help it, he needed some kind of contact with you. that’s when he boldly slipped his hand in yours and held it like it was a normal, everyday thing for you. he didn’t look at you, just kept walking and occasionally rubbing small circles on your palm with his thumb.

you were definitely flustered, but you wanted that to happen as much as he did. you didn’t even question him and just tagged along on the same unspoken plan of pretending like it was normal. when you arrived to the front of your house, you almost forgot to let him go, which he noticed and got all blushy about (hehe so cute). “well, thanks for walking me home” you said, fidgeting your fingers. “it’s okay, i don’t live so far away” he joked and flashed you that sweet smile of his.

you laughed and were ready to turn on your heels when a hand grabbed your arm, “Y/N, wait” he said softly. you looked at him confused and waited for him to continue talking, but instead he leaned closer to you a left a sweet small peck on your lips, cupping your cheeks gently. “i’ll see you tomorrow?” he asked smiling, like he didn’t just turn you into a human tomato. you muttered a small “uhum” which made him chuckle.

“okay, good night then” he said, and you leaned to give him a kiss on the cheek, wishing him also a good night. he is definitely whipped (and so are you).

ni-ki (childhood best friend!): you and riki were definitely the most cliche pair of buddies in town. you’ve known each other for so long you can’t even remember how you met, you’re his ride or die and he’s yours.

lately, you were pondering about how open you were with each other and realized he never talked about his romantic interests with you, and neither did you with him. to be honest, you were never truly interested in anyone you’ve met, maybe a few light crushes, but that’s about it. you couldn’t quite put a finger on it though, you thought maybe you weren’t made for love.

you decided to do what you always do: talk to your best friend about your concerns. maybe he’s been through the same thing or at least has good insight in what you should do.

tonight was one of your game nights. game nights meaning ni-ki would play fifa all night sitting on his bed, while you sat or lied next to him scrolling through your phone, and of course you would chat and gossip as well. he had been quiet for a bit now, unusual for riki, but he was really focused on his game, so you took the opportunity.

“riki”, you blurted unexpectedly, to which he hummed in response, signaling for you to continue. “have you ever been in love? or, i don’t know, crushed on someone?” he was silent for a few seconds, paused his game and turned to face you. “why?” he asked, suspicious.

“because i don’t think i’ve ever had, i’m worried i might never find someone…”. he chuckled lightly at your response and scooted closer to where you were “that’s silly”, he responded with a grin. you looked at him with a mixture of sulk and offense, which only made him smile wider.

“how could you ever fall for someone else when you have me by your side?” you rolled your eyes at his comment and bumped his shoulder lightly, but for some reason you felt your tummy turn. “i mean it!” you argued, now getting a sense he was mocking you. “so do i!” he threw his arms up, defending himself. “answering your question…” he leaned in closer to you, almost too close. “yes, i guess i’ve crushed on someone before”.

you nodded after a small hum and the room fell silent again, but his gaze never left your features, waiting for you to speak more. “who was your crush?” you asked curiously, and kind of jealous. “uhm, let’s see… you might know them. we’ve been friends for a really long time. they have the weirdest laugh that makes me so happy, specially because they laugh at all my jokes, even if they’re not funny. they’re really pretty, smart and kind, and they also think they’ve never loved anyone?” he said, leaning even closer every second.

you just stared at him blankly, lowkey shaking, and were somewhat happy and nervous with his confession. he started approaching you slowly, until finally closing the gap between you two in a sweet, chaste kiss. you could’ve stayed like that for hours, honestly. “i think you were right” you stated shyly, which made him chuckle and attack you with lil kisses >:( so cute pls protect

3x12, Jamie edition, part 2.

Roy seeing Jamie and Keeley hugging, asking him out for a bear, letting Jamie fist bump him and suggesting he does this, being excited about spending time with Jamie. When early in the show Roy full on walked away from fist bumping and Jamie had to fist bump himself.

THE GROWTHHHH. I'm so happy for Jamie, honestly. I'm pretty sure Roy's posted was on Jamie's wall way before Keeley's one got there, so to be best friends with your childhood hero/crush... Good for you, Jamie. Good! for! you!

If anything, if I were to choose from the inside of this triangle, it's Roy and Jamie for me. They WORK. It would fix so much if they kissed and explored each other's bodies. All that "All I need is Keeley & you stay away from here" would disappear.

However, if we're talking het ships (which I dislike but ok), it's Jamie and Keeley for me. I'd love Keeley with someone new. I'd LOVE to, with boys being together. But between Roy and Jamie. Jamie is SUCH a much bigger man than Roy. Jamie has done all the work since s1. No one held his hand, he's done all the work himself. He never ever hit on Keeley again despite all his love for her. He's been respectful of her wishes and never pushed himself on her or on Roy with "She's mine." If anything, he went with "I respect you and your relationship with Keeley" & stayed out of the way.

All Roy canonically does is pushing herself on her and on Jamie about her. Both Keeley and Jamie deserve better than an insecure man that can't get his head out of his ass. It's like one hookup, he went kind of normal, then he's back to his old ways again. Like???

I genuinely think you should have some gay sex. That would fix you a bit, Roy. I'm sure of it. Jfc. Is it me or is Roy incredibly weird this ep? What's with "She's a woman"??? What's that misogyny? You can't talk with a woman without thinking you're back on track to dating her? Keeley told you 'No" numerous of times.

Like, I'll tag it as anti Roy x Keeley, but I genuinely think shippers also should see it. Roy is regressing so fucking fast. You call this the man Keeley deserves? I don't fucking see it. "I don't want to be just friends." Well, she's not ready, why are you pushing so hard? Asshole.

See??? "I'm so insecure, but I'm pushing myself on her so hard, it's happening, we're getting back together, step aside!"

I want to beat Roy with a stick. Like, at actual tree stick, with leaves and all, so he'd understood what he's doing, that idiot.

Anyway, Jamie is such a sweet boy, immediately asking if they're official or not. He gets it.

You tell him, Jamie. Does this change anything for me in terms Roy x Jamie? No. Lol. But omg, I am still so anti Roy x Keeley, you guys. He should learn how to be alone and how to be a decent human being and how to treat people with respect.

I see only one child here & it's you, not Jamie. Grow up. No, tbf, they're both acting like kids, "I was with her first" — "I was with her last." But Roy is.... *deep sigh* My reaction to him is basically Jamie smacking lips and raising his eyebrows. Seriously, grow the hell up.

No but I think she should sit together, all three of them and talk. They don't actually consider what the woman in question wants. Maybe she wants neither of you. In the meantime, Roy and Jamie should kiss. They're going nowhere this way.

"She made that for me." I see hints of Roy getting physical & I swear to god, if he ever touches Jamie in the wrong way, just with one fucking finger, I am so fighting Roy. I can almost see Jamie waiting for the punch and for the need to defend himself. Jamie comes first, everything else comes second. Unless you're gonna kiss him and love him & cherish him, FUCK OFF.

Overall, even with how much I ship OT3, I'm tired of when it's presented like an actual triangle/two people running after one. This is seriously going nowhere & considering this might be our episode EVER, I dislike that very much. And them bickering like children? You guys should fix it.

Like, I had a feeling Roy might try to pull off something like this since he saw Jamie and Keeley hugging and got jealous but omg. *rolls eyes* Be a bigger man for once, will you, before calling Jamie a child?

P.S.:

This sounds SO much like a Phil's interview where he said that he wanted things with Keeley to go Jamie's way. Bc he feels all Jamie's victories and losses the same way Jamie feels.

omg Joz came to torture me tonight with the fmk😂💕 ALSO THESE ARE GREAT QUESTIONS THANK YOU!!!💕 So my top five favorite Stranger Things scenes/moments: This was so incredibly difficult, they're in no particular order, and they're just little things that I could remember off the top of my head that I like a lot. I think I have more like a top 1,000 or something, so don't judge me too hard lmao.

Season 1 when Steve shows up to the Byers' house, and Nancy and Jonathan are about to fight the demogorgon, and Steve has a full on menty B shouting "this is crazy, this is CRAZY" lmao. Idk why, but that always gets me.

Season 2 when Steve and Robin are working at scoops (I think it's the beginning of episode 1) and the power goes out. Steve starts flipping the light switch, and Robin tells him it won't work, and he just flips it aggressively lol.

Season 3, Billy's introduction at the pool. The song choice, the red suit, the smoking, the homage to Fast Times all around just.... *chef's kiss.* His entrances are perfect, but that one's my favorite.

Billy's mirror scene getting ready in his room, of course. His cunty little vibes, his booty shake in the mirror, cologne sac, all of it. I'm just endlessly entertained and mesmerized by him lol.

Something dear to my heart is the friendship between Murray and Alexei. So I'm choosing the scene in the car where Murray tells Jopper to fuck already, and Alexei is just like "they haven't??" and it's so funny to me. I love those two forever <3

Chris walks outside to sit on the patio with his beer in hand. You walk towards him, sitting across from him. "I'm sorry." "Chris walks outside to sit on the patio with his beer. Chris tries to digest everything but it seems so hard to not admit to himself that he feels something different when he's around you. He knows that you probably see him like your brother and you probably will continue to treat him like one, but there is always something about (Y/N)... Chris thought.. the energy when she's around is different, she's like this calming light and her aura shines through, mostly from just her being around.

"Please don't see me as an asshole or something like that." You laughed, placing your hand on his leg. "I would never... because you are always going to be an asshole for me. You have been." your response causes Chris to roll his eyes and smack your hand away from his leg.

Chris pulls your chair closer to give you a slight hug. "So, we're good?" you nodded, and he leaves a peck on your cheek. They all do this, a peck on the cheek, it's like you're the youngest and they all treat you like hell sometimes, but they are very protective of you.

"We're good baby." you said as you walk away, Chris watches you go from behind. His heart dropped a little thinking maybe I won't be able to change things with her... Chris thought.

The night was fast, the moms headed to Lisa's place as they said it was quieter there than here when the kids are laughing too hard and they needed a quieter room away from the kids. "You're not with your guy anymore? I've met him right?" Scott said, you shook your head no. "He got an ex-wife, and I didn't know that." Everyone's eyes in the room shot wide, and your brothers tilted their heads at you. "I found out because she was all over his Instagram." "No!" Scott covers his mouth as he said that. You nodded your head, "Right? I didn't know cause honestly he was a little older not that old. But, who am I to judge." Leah shook her head in disbelief.

"So, how did it end?"

You shrug, "It takes a long time for him to finally agreed to it. So many visits to the office and I was humiliated too." Chris arches his brow studying (Y/N) as she casually talks about her ex-boyfriend. "He just went there?" Chris asked, (Y/N) nodded. "He was aggressive, and it didn't show until the break up. It was chaotic to be honest." "Oh gosh, does mom knows about this?" Beau said, you shrug. "I guess she doesn't, I just don't wanna make a fuss about it. It's over anyways." you replied.

"I think we should meet the guy someday," Eric added, you turn your head to your brother so fast. "What? Why?!" "Because the guy needs to know not to be all up on your ass!" Eric replied rolling his eyes at you. You sigh, knowing that you can't really get out of this. You're just hoping that whatever it is that Eric is wishing won't happen cause you're not really up to witnessing a fight.

Chris added, "I agree." you gasp at him, he puts his hands up in defeat. "Don't you dare." you mouthed.

Everyone left but Chris. You didn't even realize he was staying as you were cleaning all the mess. You turn around and find him loading the dishwasher. "Oh God, why are you still here?" "Helping you (gif)." you sigh as you wipe the counter.

"What's the deal with the guy?" he asks.

You look up to him. "What? My ex?" he nodded his head, curious. "That was it, I was with him for two years." "Were you mad because he was married?" you replied, "No, I was mad because he made it seem like it's possible to keep it from me." Chris grew too curious about your ex, he kept thinking about what he did to make you uncomfortable. "Were we talking then?" "What?" You ask.

"Were we talking like you and Scott?"

You scoff, shaking your head. "No, but we met at a party. I was with the guy, but you were too drunk to remember." Chris arches his brow as if he couldn't believe what he just heard. You roll your eyes at him.

2 years ago...

You spotted Chris in the kitchen sitting down with his head down resting on the counter. You laugh as you approach him, "Chris." You pat his shoulder, and he looks up, "Hey, (Y/N)." he said. Drunk. He is drunk, you said to yourself. "Baby." Your boyfriend wraps his arm around your waist as he shows up out of nowhere. "Hey," you said, your boyfriend looks at Chris closely. "Isn't that—" "Ssh." your boyfriend's eyes widen.

"Chris Evans?" he asks you.

You tilted your head, looking at him in disbelief. "I don't like you." Chris pointed his finger at your boyfriend, you sigh getting out of your boyfriend's grip to help Chris. "Come on, let's get you out of you here." your boyfriend stood there, looking at Chris, you don't like the fact that people do this when they know you and Chris are friends. Including your boyfriend now, he looks stupid and in awe that Chris is here in the same room as him.

Chris slurred, "I don't like him." you let out a slight laugh.

"You don't? Why?"

"He looks like a llama."

You burst out laughing. "Chris!" he lets out his cheeky hehe. You help him to sit on the couch and get him some water. You look around and your boyfriend is nowhere to be found. "Thank you. Scott's on his way." "I bet," you said.

"I don't like him." he repeats. "I know."

"No, I didn't say that." Chris rolled his eyes, and your jaw dropped. "Christopher, I wouldn't lie to you. Especially, you know yourself when you're drunk." You lean against the countertops, you didn't realize how much you miss hanging out with Chris until now. Your relationship with him wasn't always confusing, at least not when you started to grow older. The vibe between you two could be really awkward at some times.

Chris meets your eyes and smile. "Aren't you tired?" he asks. "No, not really. I still have so many things to do." Chris arches his brow, "Do what? It's midnight for God's sake, even our moms are having a good time at their sleepover." you shrug as he walks closer, lifting you up to sit on the counter and helps you put your socks on. One thing about you that you think he will always remember is you can't sleep without your socks on, it has to be on 'till the morning.

You smiled at him, "Thank you." he nodded and said, "Sorry, but I had to get it for you in your room. Hope it's okay." Chris and you sat in silence. Your legs are touching his as he stands next to you. Chris wanted to get to know you more than just the girl he knew all his life that's labeled close as a sister. As she grow older I never see her that way, I always thought of her as my closest friend, and I grew fond and protective of her, but I was too embarrassed to admit that everyone is also very protective of her which made me have to follow their leads then.

We grew up together, well, or at least I watch her grow throughout the years. She turned out fine. Amazing, I would say. Chris thought.

There it is, the awkward silence, you say to yourself. It feels like there are so much things to say and you can only hear his loud mind yet nothing comes out of his mouth. "I better go, I have to catch a flight to New York tomorrow morning then straight to LA in the evening." Chris stopped and turn to you, "LA? What's in LA?" "I'm moving to LA to continue my Master's and I have to get some things from the office so I can have them with me." he tilted his head, he's still digesting the fact that you're moving to LA.

"So, you're not gonna work in New York anymore?"

You laugh. "I offer to help them as a part-time employee. But, they somehow managed to demand for me to stay and they'll give me the privilege of working anywhere until I finish my study, but it's too much, I have to focus so, I'm going to work from LA until the end of this year." He made a face as if he understands you now and end it with a shrug reaching out his hand to you. "Well, it's less than a month. Can I fly with you tomorrow?" he asks.

You take his hand which ends up being a trap cause he throws you like a sack to his shoulder. "What is all this?" "Letting you know that I'm a fun dude." he said, you burst out laughing, he could be so random at times. "What?!" "Just kidding, I can't hug you all night, so all I can do is tease you." Chris added.

You landed in New York, and you can't seem to stop yawning on your way to the HQ. You put your hair in a bun, you look at yourself and what you're wearing in the gigantic mirror right in front of the elevator of your floor's entrance. You shake it off and walk towards the office that you shared with 2 of your co-workers. "Hello, lady, what's the fashion theme here?" Andy your co-worker jokes, you smile sarcastically at him, "Comfortable, that's what I'm wearing today." he laughs and gave you a hug.

"I heard you were in Boston," Andy states, you turn to him knowing what he's going to ask. "My gay ass just had to know, Chris Evans came over to your house?" you chuckle knowing that you're right. You nodded your head, "Yes, Andy, his family, and he went over to my mom's house. Again, we grew up together so, no worries." He gasps and claps both of his hands. "Would you let me say hi to him if he's around?" "Will he ever be around when you're hanging out with me? I don't think so, but if we bumped into each other and we're hanging out, of course, I mean, who knows, maybe he'll fall in love with you." Andy squealed along with his laughter

You and Andy are close since the first time you work here, you two became too close that people think that you're going to be so unprofessional when it comes to an ongoing project together. But you and Andy are different people when it comes to working. You're not friends in meetings, events, or important projects, you're co-workers, you two disagree and discuss things professionally, but when you're not talking business, that's when you two are close.

You collect some of your things to bring with you and say your goodbye to Andy and the others. it's not emotional, cause he's going to school as well in Milan but he's staying and not resigning cause life in Milan is... as expensive as giving birth.

You walk out of the HQ, trying to stop a cab when your phone vibrates, you look down and find Chris texting you.

C: 'Dinner tonight?'

You chuckled looking at his text.

(Y/N): 'Too tired to go out, sorry, maybe another time?' C: 'I'll pick you up from the airport and drive you back.' C: 'I ordered Italian already' (Y/N): 'If Italian means pizza... I'm not up risking my sleep for it.' C: 'I hate you.' C: 'See you at 6.'

You laughed as you stopped a cab to go straight to the airport. You texted your brothers and Scott, to see if they're coming home on Christmas since the moms and their friends decided to went on a long holiday to Bali until the new year. All of them got plans, that leave you alone with no plans at all. You slept the whole trip to LA and didn't even get the chance to eat the snack you bought. The flight attendant woke you up as you looked around and found yourself alone on this plane. "Oh, I'm sorry." you said, the flight attendant smiled at you. "No worries, Miss. Hope you had a pleasant trip with us." you smiled back at her as you make your way out, turning on your phone and finding so many missed calls from Chris.

Pressing his name on your phone to dial him, "Hello?" "Are you okay? Everyone's out but you?" you rub your eyes, and the only thing you want to do is sleep now. "I'm on my way out, apparently the flight attendant lets me sleep and I was the only one here." Chris exhales, relieved knowing that you're okay.

Chris spotted you walking towards him sleepily. You can barely keep your open. He watches you walk, she's slouching, what a silly girl, he thought as he made his way to you, helping you with your bags. "Hi," you try to smile wide but ended up pouting. "I'm so tired." you added throwing yourself onto him as he gave you a hug. Chris laughed, "Alright, alright, to eat we go." you groan in frustration.

"Can't you just drive me home?" He shook his head no. "Dodger wants to say hi." "Why didn't you just bring him with you and drive me home?" you said, Chris stopped for a second, making a huh-face. "Huh.. that's a really good idea, wonder why I didn't go there." you fake a cry as he opens the door for you and you slide onto the passenger seat. Knocked out.

Chris turns his head to you and smiles. Maybe she doesn't know it but whatever it is that we end up having, I want her in my life for long. Longer than she had already been.

ok i have some silly and light-hearted ideas for this actually xddd

(also im limiting this to main ocs or ocs i consider to be important or fun enough for the purposes of this)

if not for the way the entirety of the main plot, i think Maffi and Huen might've gotten along. if this was in a vaccuum and not in any particular spot in the story, i think Maffi and Huen (and maybe even Seph who knows) would be in a corner just fucking talking about politics and philosophy and shit.

Ellie and Bitzy would probably be making friendship bracelets, or talking about comics or any sort of pop-culture interests that they share. probably would recommend fanartists and fanfics to each other too. a few people would try to join them, but they either dont understand the popculture of their worlds (which is very similar, if not the same) or dont care enought about it. theyre mostly left to their own devices. overtaken by the 'tism.

Angelica would probably be telling stories of her time as a treasure/artifact hunter and an actual godslayer. if Hinata's there with Bitzy, they would probably catch up and tell the stories together, since Hinata went on a lot of adventures with Angelica when they were younger.

David would be very... put off by Huen's mere presence. even if all of the plot didn't happen and this whole "get-together" wasn't canon, i think Huen's aura would just scare David shitless. you could even say he dislikes her on the basis of bad vibes alone. which is mutual, considering Huen HATES when someone is taller than her, and David's got a solid 10cm on her. yea, he avoids her like the plague and she does not mind (maybe intentionally sends him threatening looks across the room). actually i think almost everyone would avoid Huen to the best of their ability.

maybe Dots would hang out with David a bit? they have a sort of reluctant friendship in the later stages of the story. she feels pity for him, despite his own actions being the main reason why he suffers, so she helps him a bit when no one else is there to put up with him anymore (i might elaborate on that in another post, cuz i think its interesting lol). oh, i like to think she'd share her recipies with him? he can't cook, but he'd like to learn and she has a whole backlog of healthy meals to share :3 also she definitely recommends him some cool self-care products. also i think they share a love of home makeover shows (tho David wouldn't admit it). just wait until Ellie introduces them to the sims.

if TomJulCent are there... i have a headcanon that Thomas and Seph get along really well. in general i think Thomas Julia and Vince would like Sephoras and vice versa. Tom would drag Seph away from the debate going on in the corner and they'd get up to some tomfoolery (more or less legal, depending on the mood) or just talk and joke with each other.

Oh, Vincent would probably have a lot to talk about with Cyan, since they're both musicians! i can imagine them first hitting it off and getting along really well, until one of them says some "controversial" opinion about a certain artist or even a whole genre of music and all hell breaks loose. Julia and James (or Angele) would probably separate them, but it'd be too late and now they're sworn enemies.

speaking of, Julia and Angele would get along. they've both got "i am done with these idiots, but theyre my idiots" as their life motto and i think they would have a lot of fun complaining to each other, considering they would understand what the other has to put up with.

also, since David, Huen, Maffi and Seph all like playing chess, i could imagine them staging a mini tournament. no idea who would win, but it'd be worse than playing uno. Huen would definitely underestimate David, who is REALLY GOOD at chess, and it would piss her off. Seph and Maffi's duel would be the least "aggressive" and all in good fun (they probably play chess together anyway regularly so yk), Seph and David would insult each other (in good fun too, but it'd get brutal at times), Seph and Huen would be filled with easy conversations with an underlying meaning behind every word they say, trying to throw the other off (Huen would outmanipulate Seph pretty soon though, lets be real), Maffi and Huen would be dead quiet, not even a twitch of an eyebrow in sight, stone faced and focused on the game and nothing else, Maffi and David would be tense as fuck, but not in a negative way, since the two of them have played against each other countless of times, so they have a lifetime long score to keep updating.

James and Dots would be checking up on everyone. Lucy would be sitting quietly in a corner with a guitar or a ukulele to provide some ambiance, since she's not much for socializing in big groups. Angelica and David would have an arm wrestling competition at some point (David would call bullshit on some part of Angelica's stories and it'd escalate), which both Maffi and Huen would scoff at (but Maffi would obviously be on her wife's side all the way) while Seph would be ALL IN for this, give him front row seats and some popcorn, he's placing bets as we speak.

if Dominica got involved though.... pure chaos. she would shapeshift into every other fucking person and slowly, overtime make people think they were losing it. hallucinating entire conversations, missing important bits information, learning things that turn out to be untrue, until, eventually, everyone's at each other's throats over something they allegedly said or did. by which point Dominica would sit back and enjoy the view, with only Seph and Huen remaining, as they'd be pretty used to her bullshit and antics by this point and would have refused to fall for them again.

also i always loved the idea of my ocs singing and playing music together. ive had an idea of Lucy teaching Seph the basics of how to play guitar (he's horrible at it). i think Cyan would have the most random assortment or "hey I can play that", and so on. also i made Cyan James and Seph (and Ellie) into a band AU at one point for funsies but thats besides the point lol

also if this happened at ANY point in the story it would be a category five shitstorm, tears shed, feelings hurt, someone would die, the room would be trashed.

Oooh okay so my thoughts about Johnny. So, first thing is first, he took awhile to grow on me. I actually really didn't like him at first because I thought he was an abrasive asshole lol. Cuz, ya know, he is. And I didn't go into Cyberpunk knowing ANY of the lore from the TTRPG (I still don't really know any of the lore from the ttrpg).

When I first played V she was incredibly hostile towards Johnny throughout the entire game, the only reason she changed that tune is because I wanted to get the secret ending that wasn't-so-secret-to-me because my husband had played the game. So I chose V's dialogue accordingly. And it was during Johnny's quest line that he really grew on me and I love him even though he's a massive jerk. I think the concept of he and V becoming more and more meshed to the point that they don't know what parts were him and what parts were her is fascinating and I have a soft spot for their unlikely friendship and banter :)

This second playthrough, now that I've solidified my take on V more, has been not quite as aggressively hostile as it had been. She still really does not get along with JOhnny at first, but they grow on each other a lot more a lot quicker. And I think, deep down (and as the game shows), Johnny does come around to care for V and whatever complicated mess of feelings that opens up.

I discussed it somewhere in a post I cannot find, but I haven't really settled on one of the canon endings as 'canon' for my V yet because nothing truly fits exactly how she interacts with Night City. HOWEVER, pulling from some Phantom Liberty stuff here for Johnny and V thoughts and headcanons, I'll toss those and the Judy/V headcanons beneath a cut!

Spoilers for PL starting NOW

I found the post I rambled in so I am just going to copy and paste that for everyone's convenience (not PL, but the secret ending):

I cannot shake the horror of V waking up after Mikoshi and her head is just…dead silent for the first time in a long while. It’s deafening. It’s terrifying. It feels wrong.

There’s no Johnny materializing in the corner of her vision with some quick remark. Some ongoing internal monologue. It’s silent. It’s…empty. It feels like part of her has been ripped out of her, like there’s a hole that needs to be filled.

She’s been working towards this for however long. This has been the GOAL it’s what Johnny urged her to do, there in the end.

So why does she feel so empty? Why does she feel panicky and guilty and everything she shouldn’t be feeling?

If this was what she’s been working towards, why does her voice tremble when she calls out “…Johnny?”

And why do her eyes burn when there’s no response? Something in her has been fundamentally broken since the Relic brought her back.

Now multiply all that previous sentiment combined with the PL ending where V goes through the surgery. She broke some kind of trust with Johnny when she did that if I remember correctly, but she did it to preserve the life she'd been trying to make for herself. Only for that to slip through her fingers like smoke. What she gave up to go through with that surgery, leaving things on "bad terms" with Johnny like that, only to wake up to have two years of her life gone. Judy's gone, moved on, like most everyone else V had close to her at the end...leaving her with nothing. No one. Hollowed out and empty with nothing but Night City around her. And I think in those times she probably wishes that she didn't go through with any of this. That she'd let Johnny have her body because she's alone anyway, she might as well have had him up to the very end ;--;

Judy/V Headcanons

-First and foremost I guess I should say that my V and Judy were never meant to last forever. I love them together in the time they have, I think they're sweet, but they're flame that fizzles out fast. They were a fire lit in the wake of immense tragedy and I think Judy was searching for someone, even subconsciously, to hold onto in the overwhelming ocean of grief and pain she was going through. It also just comes down to the fact that Judy was always going to leave Night City, V never was. V doesn't want to go out in a blaze of glory or become the queen of the Afterlife; that was Jackie's dream not hers, but NC is her home and she can't imagine herself anywhere else.

-Judy tries really hard to get V to leave NC, gets her perhaps halfway warmed up to the thought of leaving. Then the raid on Arasaka happens and V comes back a shell of herself. Judy thinks that maybe V needs time, but it becomes clear in her mind that V is more a ghost that haunts NC than herself anymore.

-Despite V being tied to NC, she would do anything to grant Judy's wish to get out of the city. Even if it mean that V wouldn't be going with her. She isn't lying when she says she's working towards it--I imagine that either in any ending that has Judy and V apart, Judy still gets a fat sum of eddies into her account from V. Her "get out of town fund".

-They have a great dynamic, they get along like a house on fire. To Judy, V is fiery, has a sense of humor like a whip, is a little dumb like an excitable golden retriever, and makes her feel safe and secure for awhile. She’s so intensely V in a Night City that tries to squash anyone who dares to live that vibrantly.

-V starts to change, as the Relic’s malfunctions get worse. She starts adopting mannerisms, ways of speaking, that aren’t entirely her. They’re Johnny. The cadence of her voice is off sometimes, she starts wearing different clothes–that ratty replica Samurai jacket Rogue found for her. She starts smoking more–the old V never would’ve touched a cigarette with a ten foot pole. And I think those subtle shifts raise alarm bells, raise some walls for Judy. Especially after the incident while diving and seeing exactly what V’s time running out looks like. I think as much as that date starts Judy and V's relationship for real, it also starts ticking down to the end. Because as bright and hot as those passion flames burn, Judy knows what's on the other side.

-Outside of the pits of angst lol, I can see V and Judy, ripping through the streets of NC on V's motorcycle. Judy clinging to V, wind billowing her jacket as V drives way faster than she probably should, to the outskirts of the city where they sit on an outcropping to watch the sun set over the skyline. That's the energy they have. The kind of relationship that sweeps you off your feet, the air out of your lungs.

-I don't really think Judy knows what to do with V lol. She doesn't know what to do with the big muscled merc who sings bad syth-pop at the top of her lungs in Judy's van and throws herself down like a big puppy on Judy's couch with a smile that lights up the entire room. And I think V is the one to get some of the most unfiltered Judy that NC ever sees.

-Looking at things from The Sun ending, despite the shadow that remains as V, I think for a moment Judy considers what it would be like to stay in NC with her. That perhaps NC wouldn't be so bad if she had someone she loved, who wasn't eaten alive by the city, to face it with. But then she realizes that she lost some part of V in Arasaka Tower that she won't get back, and realizes her days with V are still numbered. And that's when those walls come slamming back up, when she makes that choice to cut V off before she can hurt Judy, even unintentionally. In her mind she has to protect herself, there was always that last 5% of trust that she never gave to V.

Hi sorry I was going to leave a comment on that QPR post you made but my thoughts got too long for it lol.

I totally agree with the post itself! but you kinda lost me at that last tag there. Like yes defining a qpr as an “elevated” friendship is absolutely incorrect and devalues friendship, but I don’t think that queerplatonic is a “new dumb word” that was just made up for the sake of it y’know? The way I’ve always understood it, a qpr is an important friendship that is Different from your other friendships, not necessarily more important, it’s just different to you by a significant enough degree that you feel the need to differentiate it from your other relationships. By design the definition is not meant to be any more specific than that, because everyone approaches romantic vs platonic relationships differently, so what counts as “different” varies from person to person. So what exactly a QPR *is* also varies from person to person. Basically the term has been misused and misunderstood by a lot of people, but it absolutely still has a use and a reason to exist. It’s not for everyone but also it’s not really meant to be y’know? Anyway I hope I haven’t just made it sound more confusing, I worry I’m not good at explaining this stuff

Also I’m not upset about the take in any way and I hope I didn’t make it sound like I was, I just kinda had Thoughts about it that I wanted to share 💜 (and sorry for being on anon, I am a long time follower but I just get really nervous about sending these kind of asks. Feel free to delete this if you don’t feel like posting a response I totally understand )

I want to open by saying I understand I was really aggressive in my original post. Maybe I wouldn't have said the thing about a new dumb word if I had made it when I was calmer.

But to be honest I think I still don't get it. It sounds like what you're describing might be a Best Friend? This is another term that has been misused a lot; when I was a kid it was a fad for little girls especially to have a best friend that they did basically everything with -- this was viewed as almost a requirement and in the rush to find a best friend since of course you had to have one people often didn't manage to bother about whether or not the person they labeled their best friend was really a very good friend, or a friend at all. I'm also quite certain that this was in large part a marketing stunt by Big Jewelry who realized it afforded them the perfect opportunity to convince people to buy two bracelets/necklaces/what have you instead of one in the form of friendship sets. Not that I have anything against those by themselves, but you have to admit the potential profit for a number of less than scrupulous individuals makes how hard they were pushed suspicious. So I definitely see why people might shy away from the term, or not realize that it actually means something real and serious. But 100% when I have relationships like what you just described the word for it is Best Friend.

The reason why the word upsets me is sort of complicated and multilayered. The word "queer" was first used (and primarily still is used) to describe gay people, so to the average straight mind it comes with this romantic or sexual connotation. So right off the bat you are giving the impression that this is just a friends with benefits situation at best, and a normal romantic relationship but you don't want to use that word at worst. This is of course not what the word means, I've never seen it used to mean that, but that's definitely the impression it gives. And I don't really want to get into the specifics but this is an attitude that has hurt me and my friends and family in a lot of ways over the years.

Maybe I still don't understand and there's something else there. And maybe for people with a lot of trauma around the misuse of "friend" finding a different word is good. I wish they would pick a different one, though. This one is badly designed, and feeds (unintentionally) into the widespread idea that anything not straight and allo must just be a front for weird sex.

(I'm not upset either, for the record, at least not seriously and not at you, and you're fine on anon. I hope this isn't offensive at all, I just genuinely don't get it. The word seems unnecessary and harmful to me. Not intentionally so, of course, but there it is.)

Kisame is the type to burn holes into the back of your skull and not look away or pretend he was doing anything else if caught. If Genma or Shisui straight up asked "what are you doing?" Then Kisame would promptly reply "I'm being pretty clear" to shisui and "think again" to genma

Genma is more the type to enjoy riling people up and then later complain about threats to his continued existence, all whilst smirking and making the whole thing as excruciating as possible for everyone in the vicinity

Shisui has noped himself through the ceiling. He might be smart and loyal and popular and manipulative BUT Shisui also has a fucked sense of worth and he views Kisame so highly that he's definitely feeling way below his league. Kisame is staring at him? Ofc he is, they're in the middle of a match and kisame is just as competitive as Shisui is, he's planning on a killer backswing on that next bludger! Kisame is going to murder genma? Who wouldn't! Kisame wants to kiss shisui full on the mouth? Genma you're not funny that's invasive on their friendship

Shisui: *too busy chanting to hear him properly* IM BUSY

but stuff happened, lol. Multiple times. And Charles numerously times was acting passive aggressive towards max and there no way Max never saw it. I wish I could just ship them and think “wow, Max obsessed with Charles, how cute😍😍😍” but I’m just annoyed bitch who see it as Max wants some validation from Charles(of all people, him😦). He also was very neutral towards Charles so after 3 month seeing them interact gives me an ick. Okey, I’m agree, Max is the one who needs to decide to himself after all. also, what did you notice as Seb fan?

Brooo..... Max wanting validation?? Lol, that guy needs no validation from anyone. And I neither interpret his actions as being needy nor as seeking validation. Max is possibly the most "complete/whole" person I have ever seen. Let me explain what I mean.

Anyone going thru that childhood and with that guy as a father becomes a scarred person, and we all agree with it. Max is scarred, too. But he also seems to have reached to some sense of peace within himself about his family and his childhood. I won't presume how hard it must have been or how much hurt he must still be carrying, but again, he looks and acts much more in control of himself and his life and grounded and level headed than anyone I have ever seen. He is one of those people who have found his own self-worth and fulfillment in themselves and never in the eyes of others or how others see or perceive them. Max doesn't give a fuck about what others think of him at all. He isn't a people pleaser. He's the last person on that grid who would act against his principles/his thoughts just so that he can look more palatable for other people's approval. This guy has "realized" himself. He is a whole person. He doesn't need anyone to feel that way. And this is exactly why I adore him so much.

Him being fond of Charles doesn't mean he wants his validation and that's why he follows him around like a lost puppy. Growing up together, he knows Charles is a talented racer and he knows when he tells him stuff Charles would understand. Maybe that's just that. A camaraderie of growing up together and being passionate about the same thing in equal ardor and knowing the other understands you. That's all.

I think we all are looking at these people's friendships/relationships from shippy lenses too much. And I know you said you don't ship them, but I am not just talking about romantic stuff. We only see them as much as they let us, and we all interpret their interactions according to our own preconceived ideas about them and even do some self reflection/mirroring. Some people's headcanons affect fans' perception of these guys without even them realizing it. It is not so deep. They are just interacting. If they start to think they aren't the people they think the other guy was, then they can simply stop.

About Seb, I meant how Charles used to act with Seb and how the team fucked Seb over during those years with Charles manager always wearing Binotto's ears off in the garage, lol.

Hey, i'm just gonna do some musing on the last scene of the Mario Movie under the cut and how long I think it takes the brothers to get to that point, because I feel like my opinion on this is sort of at odds with others I've seen?

(spoilers, obviously!)

This is just my own opinion, no ill will intended to anyone who's done this, but every time I see a fanwork that's basically like "Mario and Luigi literally make the decision to move to the Mushroom Kingdom THE VERY SAME NIGHT AS THE FIGHT WITH BOWSER" or that they even go back to the Mushroom Kingdom immediately afterwards with everyone else and don't even have to think about it too hard, I am BEWILDERED and CONFUSED??????

I know that Mario saw a lot of beauty and wonder in the world, but the brothers were only there for MAYBE two to three days at most (if we're assuming the traveling montage wasn't longer than it seemed). I would assume they've lived their entire lives in Brooklyn, maybe even in that very same apartment/house we see, considering all the photos on the walls. Like, they GREW UP there. And while their family has its problems and general dysfunction like all families do, there's clearly a lot of love there as well! I just always think to that moment where they come home and everyone looks very happy to greet them/welcome them in. They clearly have relationships here and connections, and after maybe even thinking they'd never see their family again for a while there in the Mushroom Kingdom, you'd think they'd want to spend a little time after all that whirlwind just being close to their mom and dad and other loved ones, helping rebuild the street block from all the damage, etc.

(Maybe that's just really boring and other people don't care about the family stuff, they KNOW Mario and Luigi eventually end up as residents of the Mushroom Kingdom so just skip all the in-between already, but it matters to me, OKAY)

I like to imagine the eventual decision to live in a different world as one that takes weeks, if not months to figure out. And during that time, they still visit the Mushroom Kingdom plenty, of course! They have tea with Peach and explore Toad Town and visit the Kongs and go on little adventures and help out with conflicts and Luigi gets to have a good time and see the nice parts of the world, FINALLY, and all of this strengthens the friendships they've made. And as time goes on, they start to realize that they want to stay more and more until eventually, it's an easy choice to make. :)

And during this in-between part, I want Peach to come visit them in the regular world too!!! CONSIDERING SHE IS LIKELY FROM THIS WORLD AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN CURIOUS ABOUT HER ORIGINS, WHY WOULDN'T SHE???? She probably can't steal away TOO much considering her position, but I just have the biggest smile on my face imagining Mario and Luigi taking her to all their favorite shops/restaurants and her being endlessly fascinated by the silliest little things and the parents trying to AGGRESSIVELY matchmake every chance they get, lol. I just love the Mario & Peach & Luigi dynamic and want to see both brothers becoming closer with her in their own ways, what can I say. <3

Also, it's kind of funny to imagine that what pushes them over the edge re: moving is Peach's offer to build them a house for free. A WHOLE HOUSE??? FOR FREE??? WHILE THE GOING RENT IN BROOKLYN IS OUT OF CONTROL??? This may be the only chance the brothers get to move out of their parents' house without it costing an arm and a leg and by god, they're going to take it and run with it

(Yes, that last point is a little TOO real, sob)
