I hate when like. Discourse seems to place skills as if they are simply a choice.

Like. “Why did you not simply choose to be better at drawing?”

“Why did you not simply choose to be multilingual?”

“You should choose to be able to write better.”

Like we’re really just out here like “Get Good loser” like none of this is difficult or inaccessible or something that takes time to learn???

“Smh fanartists don’t draw body hair.” Like that is not one of the more difficult things to draw and make look *good*. That is a skill not everyone has. It’s not like you just push the “turn body hair on” button. You have to be able to draw a lot of small details the right way and understand how body hair grows. Because body hair flows in certain directions and you have to have steady line control and hatching skills to get steady body hair to look right.

It’s easier to render in 3D or in sketches, in realistic styles, but if it’s very simple you run the risk of “your hair has more detail than the rest of your art and it’s jarring and unnatural” or “the body hair and the head hair are such dramatically different styles it takes me out”

It takes work and learning to develop a skill to adapt to a style. It’s not easy and it doesn’t always work. And that doesn’t always factor in how colours are going to work, how the full render works, what medium you’re working in.

And not all fanartists are professional artists. Most, in fact, are not. So like. Probably they’re not sitting down doing exacting studies where they get uncomfortably close and figure out how hair works, and how to adapt it into their style. A bunch are probably kids who get nervous and uncomfortable at the idea of body hair because some of them are still growing their own.

I know some of us grown ups got so much it’s embarrassing but some folks still feel squeamish and uncomfortable because it’s new and weird. Making people feel guilty about feeling guilty doesn’t make them feel less guilty, it just makes them guilty squared. There’s a whole skill tree that needs filling out.

Uh Oh (Sykkuno x F!Reader)

Oneshot (maybe part of a series??? idk we’ll see): The Prequel to “Impasta” in which reader meets the gang for the first time and experiences a betrayal. Mainly Friendship

Warning: non-beta, I wrote this in one go and full sent it. 

You were a small time Twitch streamer that had recently befriend a streamer with a much larger audience, ValkyRae.  You had been talking back and forth for quite some time, since Rae’s dm to you weeks ago. You were mainly an rp channel where you played games like GTA, The Sims, and Animal Crossing. Though you gained a lot of your followers from playing League, though it mostly consisted of hate-followers that would only critique your gaming, even though you were pretty good at it. But it doesn’t bother you too much *que sob*

You were streaming GTA on a RP server playing an amish girl on a Rumspringa and wreaking havoc. You and your ‘gang’ had successfully finished hitting a bank truck ,causing your character to rake in a few thousand dollars, when you got a message from Rae asking you if you had wanted to play a few rounds of the popular game among us. 

“Alright guys, a friend asked if I wanted to join her lobby of among us. I know it’s different from the stuff i usually stream, but is that something you guys would be cool with?” You asked your chat and watch an influx of people messaging ‘yes’ or ‘pog’. You take a sip of your Starbucks and picked up your phone to message Rae that you’ll be joining. “Fair warning, I’ve never played among us. So we’ll see how this goes, guys” 

While you waited to be invited to the discord and into the lobby, you chatted with your viewers for a bit. “I just realized that I’m really awkward around new people. Like when I’m playing on the GTA Rp Server, I’m not myself, I’m a character you know? So it’s easier to talk with other people, cause they’re also role playing. Plus I don’t think I can call anyone in the discord a musty dusty rat bitch lol or sell them drugs, it’s not that kind of game...unless?...” You laugh as you login to your discord and accept the invite to the discord “alright guys! here we go~”

You enter the discord call and hear people talking. 

“Y/N!” Rae exclaims “Guys this is my new friend y/n”

“Hi” Responding to the various voices greeting you

“OK, so the code is in the chat and so are the bubbles, so your chat can see who is talking and what not” Rae explains

You input the code and saw your little character in the space ship. “Oh god guys look at us!” You ran your little character around the ship “How do we change colors? I’m not feeling this blue and I saw Rae with her lil creepy mask”

You read your chat tell you what to do so you went to the little computer to change the blue to white and clicked through all the hats til you decided on the pink flower. “How about this guys? Yellow is my favorite color but its taken”

“Alright, you ready y/n?” Rae asked

“Yup” you respond by running circles around her character

“OK i’m starting. Don’t forget to mute and close chat. You can open it back up if your imposter or dead” Rae sang “Good luck~”

“Alright chat I gotta close you til the game is done? I guess” You hum as the words ‘crewmate’ pop up. “Well at least i’m not imposter, i know the game. I mean who hasn’t at this point. I just never played it, seems to be to nerve wracking”

You open the map icon and run to where the closet yellow exclamation point was, which was admin. You make sure to note all the colors around you in there as you swipe your card “Alright, green, yellow, brown,red, and orange” You repeated the colors over and over again as you make your way into electrical when you notice something “Ok uh green is following me? I don’t know why but its freaking me out.” The lights turn off and you start freaking out “Oh god, this is where I die. Don’t I? You know what do it. Kill me! It’s probably a good idea. I’m kind of an idiot and it’ll help me figure things out on my own without the pressure” You follow the arrow pointing to a panel and you click on it “What am i supposed to do? You know green, this would be the perfect opportunity to murder me in cold blood... is this how you do it?” You flip the switches so that they are all bright green and the lights turn on “YAS BITCH, I did it” 

The green character kind of just circles your body as you do tasks in electrical, you do download, wires, and power diverter. “Ok BUT WHY IS HE FOLLOWING ME!!” 

An orange body had been reported and that two others had died (bright green and pink) and the person who reported the body was black or as his name read ‘Abe’ “Ok, so this body was in admin on card swipe”

“Well this body couldn’t have been me or y/n” Sykkuno says “I was following her this entire time”

“Yea, I’d like to know why lol? You were kinda freaking me out dude” You laugh a bit trying to play off how nervous you were to call him out on it

“Oh No! I was protecting you” Sykkuno explains “I promise”

“Sykkuno? Are you already simping for someone?” Rae feigns exasperation 

“No really guys!” He explains nervously “The new person always dies first, so I was just trying to protect her.”

You hum and smile mischievously “Unless, your just trying to gain my trust only to murder me in coldblood in front of my bestie Rae, to prove your superiority over her!?!”

Rae gasps “Really Sykkuno!?! I’m voting you just for that!”

“Wah? No wait! It’s not like that really” Sykkuno starts laughing as Rae votes “Oh God did you really vote for me?”

“Yes” Rae says and you start laughing 

“So anyways, Leslie’s body is in admin?” Hafu says wanting to talk more about the body and get all the sus’s and clears

Though you gasp when you realized a few things “wait I have some info to share” teasing Sykkuno had loosened you up a bit “it was me,green,yellow,brown,red, and orange in admin. Then me and green, uh Syyykkkuunnoo? Sorry if i didn’t say your name right, left and went into electrical, then lights were called and I fixed them before finishing off my tasks in there. So the body must’ve died during lights unless she left and came back into admin after lights were fixed? which doesn’t make much sense, sooo yea” you smiled “look at me chat! being all smart and shit” 

“yes” Poki agrees “I left admin also with Rae just before lights were called”

“Ok, so I know that puts sus on me, but I went straight to lights when they were called” Hafu says “Someone on the right side must’ve vented when lights were off. Like I was entering the hallway from storage with Tina when lights got fixed and we went to reactor room together. So it couldn’t have been me. Maybe Tina? I dont know which way she come from, but it was not me”

“That is true. I did meet up with Hafu at storage, but I don’t know man” Tina says “ I was doing download in comms”

“Oh god” You tell chat “I don’t know whether to believe Hafu or not. I know she is really good, along with Toast, but he hasn’t said anything”

“Well it is seven and we don’t vote on seven, so we can skip. Just putting a sus on Hafu” Rae says

“Yes please do” Hafu says as she votes to skip

“Do we know where the other bodies are?” Poki asks as the seconds start to dwindle down to zero “Also Toast? Why are you so quiet?”

“I’m trying to figure out a new strat, so don’t you worry. I’ll catch the killers” Toast starts to evil laugh and that was the end of the meeting.

“Ok we’re susing Hafu for this.Though I don’t think it’s her only cause I remember watching one of her imposter plays and it would be a too obvious kill,since so many people were there, it just doesn’t make sense, so someone venting in and killing is plausible or could be a self report? I don’t know lol It’s my first game” You run with Sykkuno and finish up your tasks together. Though lights were called when you both were at shields, you can see the vent pop open and in your little vision bubble you see a flash of red “Whelp this is where I die, I’d like to rate Sykkuno an 8 out of 10 for protecting me, but obviously I am now died” True to your word Rae killed you and you saw Sykkuno running around like a headless chicken when he reports your body 

“Oh God! They got her when I was trying to protect her!” Sykkuno exclaims 

“Sykkuno! You were supposed to be protecting her!?” Rae shouts “What happened? Did you kill her in cold blood? hmm?”

“smh Rae, you murdered me right in front of Sykkuno” You sigh “Well chat looks like I’m dead and we can speak now”

“No!” Sykkuno denies “I said I was going to protect her. I wouldn’t kill her after saying that”

“Well she’s dead now Sykkuno! Where’s the body?” Toast dramatically says

“It’s in shields. It happened when lights were off” Sykkyno says “I’m sorry y/n, I couldn’t protect you”

“Aw that is so cute” You pout at his apology, it wasn’t his fault. It was dark, so obviously he couldn’t see

“Well I don’t think Sykkuno did this, He said he was protecting her to everyone, so I can say that he’s crew” Hafu says “I’m at light panel, I remember seeing Poki and Tina there”

“I can confirm this” Poki says “So Toast let’s hear your big brain play. What’s your strat?”

It was silent for a minute, before Toast admits that he doesn’t have one.

“Ok so we can all agree that Toast is the imposter right?” Rae says “Vote him outta here!”

“Yep” Tina agrees hitting that vote on him and many follow suit

“Wait guys! WAIT! I do! I do have a strat” Toast screams out “Uhhh... wires! The wires guys!”

“Lol they’re gunna vote him off” You watch people voting “Rae is probably gunna win this”

“Yea, you’ve done that pay before” Poki laughs

“Don’t worry I’ll skip Toast” Sykkuno says 

“Why would you skip if we’re on 6?” Rae asks “Is Toast your imposter buddy?”

“Wah? I said I was protecting y/n, why would I kill her?” Trying to make his innocence obvious 

“Unless you killed her by accident or Toast did and you’re trying to protect him like the Simp you are!” Rae accuses him

Tina starts to also question Sykkuno “Wait a second, I dont think I’ve seen you do a single task this entire game! You’ve just been following y/n all around! We should vote him off next!”

“Guys, I swear it’s not me, it just doesn’t make sense” You can hear him plead “Oh no guys, how did this get twisted? It’s Rae! But how did it go to thinking Sykkuno as imposter?”

The meeting ends with Toast screaming into the abyss as he is yeeted out with Sykkuno telling him that he voted to skip.

“Ok then chat, looks like the imposters are gunna win, lets talk for a bit” You sigh and start reading the comments “ I know that I didn’t talk much with them, but I’m just awkward in general and I don’t know what to say to them. This is the first time playing with a group like this where i’m supposed to be myself and not a character.”

The words Defeat appeared on screen and there was Hafu and Rae as imposter. “I honestly didn’t think it was Hafu”

“Hafu was that you that killed Leslie in admin? I didn’t think it was “You asked when you returned to the lobby

“NO! I got framed by my own partner” Hafu explains before taking her bathroom break

“How did Rae get that kill cause I was with her?” Poki asks

“I vented from Caf back into admin when lights were off” Rae laughs “and I vented into shields and killed y/n right in front of Sykkuno!”

“Im sorry for not being able to protect you” Sykkuno runs circles around my character “Next round I’ll do better! I promise”

You laugh and start chasing after him in the ship “What if you end up as imposter?”

“Then I’ll have to look away as my imposter buddy kills you” Sykkuno laughs behind his hand and clears his throat “Im joking, Im joking, I promise”

“Wow Sykkuno” You tsk and run over to the opposite side of the room “I don’t know if I want your protection services now”

“Uh” Sykkuno splutters “I’m joking I promise! I won’t kill you as imposter”

“Wait til Corpse hears you simping over someone else” Poki says before starting the game

“Wait Hafu is still in the bathroom!” Rae exclaimed, but it was to late to stop the game from starting, so she’ll have to jump in when she comes back. Though you swear you feel your heart jump out of your chest when the words Imposter read on you screen. The 1st of the night for you and another in a row for Hafu.

“Oh God guys. Hafu is in the bathroom, but she has to carry us” You start to panic “What we do we do!?! Wait is Sykkuno seriously gunna follow us? Should we kill him or would that be to obvious?” You see the chat tell you that it would be to obvious and that it would be better to maybe frame him, but it seems to mean to you “Should we kill someone in front of him? You know to test his loyalty? It’s a terrible idea”

Though before you go on to fake tasks, you see Sykkuno standing on top of Hafu’s body, so you also go ontop of Sykkuno’s and to the outside perspective you are protecting Hafu, but really for you it’s to ensure that your imposter partner is going to be walking around and killing people,once she comes back from the bathroom. It seems that Hafu is back from the bathroom as her yellow character starts making her way away from you both. You and Sykkuno make your way to admin when lights get called and Sykkuno starts to wiggle his body around into a corner. It seems as though he wants you to stack with him in a corner, but before you do you double back when you see a body pass by and kill them, though you start to laugh when you see your character kill Rae, before ‘stumbling’ into Sykkuno’s view in the corner. You both stay there as lights turn back on and go on card swipe. You think about juking Sykkuno, but realize that it’ll look sus on you for ditching him. So you two just walk around ‘completing’ tasks as every once in a while the lights would go off and you two will stack on each other or wait for doors to open which you had been closing alot of them. 

“Honestly guys I’m at a point were I just wanna murder someone in front of him” You start to evil laugh as you both stack in the corner of medbay as lights start turning on when a body got called

“It’s toast, it’s toast, it’s toast” Hafu chants as it was her who reported the body “I saw him kill Poki”

“oh she self reported” you note and click on Toast’s name but not locking in your vote just in case. You also noticed that four people had died “She killed three people!?! Wow she is beast in this game! Holy Shit guys”

“see, from my perspective it’s hafu. I didn’t see the kill, but I did see blood splatter and Hafu immediately reported the body and blamed me, so it has to be Hafu. I’m voting her” Toast explains and votes her

“no no no no no no no. I saw you kill her when lights got fixed.” Hafu describes her side and what she did in that round “ Ok guys I was afk for like the first 20 seconds and I see Sykkuno and y/n there standing on me in caf., and I’m just doing my tasks, which I finished by the way, so I’m just going back and forth going to cams and just walking around to find any dead bodies. So if you saw cams on in the last 30 or so seconds it was me. I’ve also been fixing lights too! Peter and Leslie should be able to vouch for me on that! But on this round of lights I’m making my way to go help fix them when i see blood flicker in my little bubble and as it starts to get bigger I see Toast walking away from it. Its Toast. It is 100% Toast.” She locks her vote on him “Vote him please. If you don’t vote then you’re either imposter or just throwing”

“I don’t know guys” You start and hover your mouse over the green checkmark next to Toast’s name “I’ve been with Sykkuno the entire round and we did guard Hafu’s body. For Hafu to say that she saw Toast kill, but toast didn’t see Hafu kill? It just doesnt make sense so I’m voting Toast” You lock your vote in when Hafu reminds everyone that crew has to vote together since it is on six. Reminding Peter and Leslie that Hafu has been fixing lights got their votes, but Sykkuno was hesitant “You know I can never vote Toast guys, but I have been with y/n this entire time and I know it’s not her. So, I’m sorry Toast but uh” He locks his vote in for either Hafu or Toast? Who knows if he’s simping over Toast hard.

“Sykkuno?” You can hear Toast tremble his voice “Sy-sykkuno? Who did you vote for? Sykkuno!?!?! Do- Don’t tell me...did you really vote me?”

“I uh “ He clears his throat as the votes get out and all of us had voted Toast 

Toast gasps “Sykkuno!?! How could you!?!?!”

“I’m sorry! I just trust y/n!” Sykkuno explains as Toast’s body once again gets yeeted out into space. 

“Wow guys, looks like we’re gunna win our first imposter game!” You wiggle around happily “and we literally did nothing...wait we killed Rae! We got our revenge from the last round mwua hahahahaha”

Sykkuno and I run circles around each other before walking back into medbay. You can see Hafu kind of trailing behind and the doors get locked with us three in it, but Hafu is just standing there. “Chat what is Hafu doing? Why is she just standing there” You can see Sykkuno step on the med scan “Wait she wants ME to kill SYKKUNO! Oh god that is so evil lol but i’m so useless as imposter, so I might as well get in at least 25% of the kills” 

Once Sykkuno steps off you just murder him and you see that you had won.

“I- I can’t believe you just killed me!?! I trusted you y/n” Sykkuno exclaims

“Sykkuno” Rae sighs “she KILLED ME in caf! Why did no one NOT SEE MY CHOPPED BODY IN CAF!”

You just laugh “I’m sorry Sykkuno, but my chat was telling me that Hafu wanted me to kill you”

“Yea, cause I did like all of the kills and sabotages” Hafu recounts who and how she killed 

“Sykkuno, you giant simp. I can’t believe you vote me” Toast tsk’ed 

“I can’t believe y/n was the imposter! and she killed me!” Sykkuno shakes his head “you know what i’m no longer protecting you anymore”

“Wait Sykkuno I’m sorry. Really” You giggle 

“No no no it’s ok, it’s all part of the game” Sykkuno reassure you that he is not actually mad and that he hoped you had fun “But i wont be protecting you from now on, I have scars now”

So, you play a few more games before calling it quits and end your stream. Later on, you find that Sykkuno started following you on Twitter and Instagram, You totally did not stalk both of his pages and you totally don’t think that he’s cute.....

SideNote: You totally murdered someone in front of Sykkuno and he totally didn’t snitch on you. Instead he protected you as you ran around killing more people in front of him and like the giant Simp he is he totally went ‘I neva snitch on you Daddy, I hold a brick for you Daddy’.

Ok imma be honest, this chapter moved me to tears and not the sad sobbing but the more inspiring kind. This chapter means the world.

David loved the New York Institute – especially the library.

Gigi of course loved the dining halls.

Dining halls, kitchens, food trucks, vending machines - if a place had food with it, Gigi loved it.

5. air temples - i finally realized, all of this time / it was in me / all along, it was in me

Faded. That was the word. Everything about the Northern Air Temple was… faded.

The murals had grown softer, paint peeling and splintered with jagged cracks. The walls were crumbling in many rooms, the insertion of metal pipes drastically changing the infrastructure. Spaces that had once been full of people, full of life, were abandoned. Desolate. Empty.

Aang’s memories were so - so vibrant in his mind. And now, the present simply… paled in comparison.

Faded. Everything had faded.

His chest was tight.

“Aang? Can I come in?”

Aang blinked upon hearing his name, turning around to see that Teo had wheeled up behind him. His new friend had come to a stop beneath a fractured wooden doorframe. “Uh… sure?” he finally answered. “I don’t think you need my permission, though.”

Teo shrugged as he rolled inside. “You seemed lost in thought. I didn’t want to startle you.”

Aang flushed. He’d definitely been caught up in the past. Or maybe he’d been agonizing over the present. Was there a difference? “Oh.”

Teo laughed. “Nothing wrong with being easy to read. My father tells me I’m the same.”

Aang smiled. “I guess it’s not too bad, then. Having anything in common with you is a plus.”

It was Teo’s turn for his face to redden. “Wow. Me, having something in common with the Avatar?” He shook his head, feigning awe. “That’s incredible. I’ve never felt so cool.”

Aang rolled his eyes, grinning. “As if you didn’t almost out-glide me all of a few hours ago.”

“‘Almost’?” Teo repeated, eyes twinkling with mischief. “I seem to recall that I did out-glide you, Avatar.”

Aang laughed, tilting his head to the side. “Then I guess we’ll just have to organize an official rematch, won’t we?”

“I’ll pencil it into my schedule. Hope you’re ready to lose again.”

“Ooh, fighting words.” Aang winked at him. “Don’t count your pickens before they hatch.” A beat passed, and he shook his head, realizing Teo had probably not tracked him down for small talk. “Sorry. I kind of took us on a tangent there. Was there a specific reason you were looking for me?”

Teo blinked. “Yes. Right.” He jutted his thumb behind them. “There’s something I want to show you in my room. I think it might… mean something to you.”

Aang frowned. “Should we get Katara and Sokka?”

Teo shook his head. “No. It won’t matter to them.” He hesitated, amending, “I mean, we can get them if you want, of course. It’s just -” Teo huffed. “Sorry. I didn’t think…” He met Aang’s eyes, and his next words made Aang’s entire body tense. “I found something from your people. The airbenders. I thought you might want to see it… in private.”

Aang swallowed hard, blinking back tears he both did and didn’t understand. “Thank you,” he whispered after a pause. He cleared his throat. “I really appreciate that.” He gestured to the door. “Lead the way?”

Teo nodded, and when he steered himself out the room, Aang followed.

“I found it recently,” Teo explained as he directed Aang through the temple. “Completely on accident, too. I had to get up super early one morning to help my dad with some work, so I wasn’t even half-awake when I got into my chair. I was pulling my hair up, but apparently I’d forgotten to lock the brakes, because gravity rolled me backwards with a little extra force into the corner of my room.”

Aang’s eyes widened. “Wait, are you -”

“Oh, I’m fine,” Teo reassured him with a dismissive wave of his hand. “I took way harder hits than that when I was first learning how to land with my glider.”

Aang laughed. “Yeah, landing is a lot easier when you can use airbending as a cushion.”

Teo sighed dramatically. “If only! I have to rely on favorable air currents and precise mathematical angles.”

Aang winked at him. “Which goes to show how brilliant you are, since you now land so effortlessly.”

Teo snorted. “Trial and error, Aang. Trial and error.” He gave him a crooked smile. “And all the math, too.” He paused, rolling to a stop. “Okay. We’re here.”

The room wasn’t too different from how Aang remembered the sleeping quarters of the Northern Air Temple to be. Minimalistic, yet comforting. Aang noticed there were a few mechanical gadgets scattered about the place that hadn’t been there a century ago, as well as a wooden desk with smudged blueprints resting atop it.

Teo must have realized what he was looking at, as his face went scarlet and he immediately flipped the sketches over. “Sorry. They’re nowhere near as good as my dad’s yet.”

Aang wanted to protest that Teo’s designs were fine and he didn’t want to compare them to his father’s anyway, but his voice vanished as Teo pointed to an open corner of his bedroom. A small space to the left of his friend’s sleeping arrangements.

“My chair knocked a brick loose that morning,” Teo explained, continuing the story he’d started in the hall. “At first, I thought it was just because the temple is old.” He wheeled over to the corner, running his hand over a stone slightly lighter than the rest. Indiscernible to someone not looking for it. “But when I tried to fix it…” Teo slid the brick out of the wall. In the space left open behind it were…

Scrolls?

“I found these,” Teo finished, pulling out three sheets of rolled-up parchment with his other hand and offering them to Aang. “I think they were made by the airbenders who used to live here.” He paused. “Your people, I mean.”

Aang accepted the scrolls with shaking hands. The edges of the papers had yellowed with time, age making them thin and fragile, but overall the pages were well-preserved.

Aang carefully unrolled each sheet, smoothing them out flat atop Teo’s desk. They were… Pictures.

Art.

Two were drawn by young boys, Aang presumed, based on the inexperience and bright hues of the art style. One was of a grinning sky bison, and the other was a color-coded collage of the symbols for the four elements. Both images radiated childlike glee.

The third was much neater, painted by the hand of someone gifted with a brush. It depicted the Air Nomads’ tattooing ceremony, Aang realized, where an unidentified airbender was being given their arrows and granted the title of an airbending master. Everything about the picture was - was vibrant, from the sky blue arrows to the warm tones of the monks’ orange robes, each detail bursting with memories of a peaceful time long since passed.

Aang hadn’t realized he was crying until Teo began to frantically ask if he was okay.

“I’m fine,” Aang reassured his friend, voice steadier than he expected it to be. He wiped his eyes, but tears continued to silently fall. “I just…” He glanced down at the three artworks a second time before turning around to crush Teo in a hug. The young mechanic seemed shocked, but soon returned the embrace.

“Thank you,” Aang whispered, his face nestled in Teo’s shoulder. “For keeping them alive.”

Teo squeezed Aang tighter. “I owe them everything. We wouldn’t have survived without this temple.”

The Northern Air Temple. Full of secrets and surprises. A painful past, a painful present, yet nonetheless possessing a hopeful future.

Faded, Aang had called it.

No. No, it wasn’t faded. He’d been wrong. The temple was vibrant. Bursting with colors contained behind gray stone walls. The temple was scarred, maybe. Aang couldn’t deny that. Bruised, even. Beaten and broken and blistered.

But not faded.

Vibrant.

what happened isn’t he fifth year of the hogwarts au?

asdfASDF have i not mentioned it??? in their fifth year, Ben almost dies and Luther becomes a werewolf

needless to say... it’s a very eventful year for everyone

I figured a good way to mirror the show and Luther’s issues slash ape body would be to make him a werewolf

It definitely brings the siblings closer together in a way because here’s what they know about the wizarding world and werewolves: a) the wizarding world is like, super awful to werewolves and have a bajillion laws regarding them, b) an old DADA teacher was lowkey fired for being outed as a werewolf even though he was on wolfsbane potion and taking care of himself, and c) the only werewolf who attended hogwarts (according to Fred) was said professor who kept it a secret due to worrying he would be kicked out of Hogwarts

the family have no proof that Luther wouldn’t be kicked out of Hogwarts for his werewolf-ness so obviously they have to keep it a secret

on the bright side, they have access to a secret basement thanks to Five poking around that has been mainly cleared of booby traps and other unsafe things, that is also impossible for Luther to escape from considering his wolf form can’t exactly speak parseltongue

(because portrait!Dolores probably teaches the squad how to at the very least say “open” and “close” in parseltongue considering i’m pretty sure canon hp has non parseltongues being able to vaguely mimic enough to get in)

further bright side - Ben and Five are very good at potions and are capable of very very difficult potions, such as the Wolfsbane potion

(downside: Five is a very experimental potions maker and likes to try and improve upon current formulas. Ben complains but is secretly the same. The other siblings don’t think they should be experimenting with Luther’s anti-werewolf potion guys, come on what the fuck)

“This would be so much easier if you didn’t have a reputation for being such a goody two-shoes.” Five informs Luther crossly, because getting a mannequin to transfigure into a sleeping ‘Luther’ was harder than it should have been smh, if Luther had cultivated a reputation for never being where he should be like Five everything would be fine but no, Luther’s dorm mates would be suspicious if he was gone on every full moon night

(Diego, as the team resident bonus Gryffindor, gets to stay behind and make sure no one ‘wakes up’ Luther in the morning before everyone can smuggle the real Luther back into bed)

Ben blames himself honestly, because it’s theoretically his fault that they were in the Forbidden Forest on the full moon that night

(Ben has excelled in potions and herbology, he gets along with Neville like a house on fire, and he spends lots of time in the greenhouse. He wanted to gather some various plants and potions ingredients that you can only get on the full moon and - well - let’s just say the trip didn’t go as planned)

Five ends up doing a lot of the... I guess caretaking work?? He’s the one best equipped to go down into the Chamber of Secrets when Luther is wolfed out since he can just teleport if Luther tried to bite him or something (which he doesn’t because he’s docile on the wolfsbane potion

“I dropped care of magical creatures, this shouldn’t even be my responsibility.” Five complains, loudly

“Well Luther has the best grade in that class out of any of us.” Klaus points out, gesturing between him and Diego, who looks sour at the reminder that Luther does better at him in any class at all (though that rivalry died down a lot when Diego made the quidditch team tbh)

“Luther can’t take care of himself.” Allison says crossly.

“Hey.” Luther protests, “I mean, I know, but hey.”

“Well Fred says that the marauders - that’s the dudes who hung out with Lupin when he was a baby werewolf - became animagi so they could hang out with him on full moons and stuff.” Klaus interjects excitedly, “There’s this potion which should be totally easy for Five and Ben and - ”

“Absolutely not.” Ben cuts Klaus off, “We need to be focusing on getting ingredients for the Wolfsbane potion, and they’re not easy to come by. Plus the ones we can’t get are expensive.”

“We’re orphans, it’s not like we have our own money.” Diego points out grumpily, ignoring the weird look on Luther’s face that pops up every time Reginald is even vaguely referenced. 

“The money isn’t a problem.” Five says dismissively, because he’s been squirreling money away in weird places for years and has a solid ring of tutoring, essay writing, and homework providing in place to get them at least some funds, “The issue is disguising our orders so that people won’t look at our lovely list of ingredients and be like ‘who the fuck is making this quantity of wolfsbane at hogwarts, where there aren’t supposed to be any werewolves’.”

“We could buy other potions ingredients as well and hide the wolfsbane ones among them?” Luther suggests tentatively.

Ben grimaces, “The expense...”

“I already told you it’s not an issue.” Five snaps, “Besides, I can always just steal some of the super expensive ones from the potions cupboards.”

“Why do you always jump to stealing.” An aggrieved Vanya complains, even though all of them know it’s because Five’s ability to ‘apparate’ within Hogwarts grounds makes him the best person they have for moving unseen around Hogwarts

“Ha, jump.”

“It’s not like we have the resources though.” Allison muses, because she’s a slytherin and resourcefulness is important to her, “I mean, what are they going to do if they find out? Throw us in Azkaban?”

Diego shrugs, “This is Hogwarts, probably the worst that will happen is detention.” 

“We can handle detentions.” Ben says firmly, “We do what we have to do, to keep Luther safe.”

“Thanks guys,” Luther may actually sound a little choked up at the loyalty shown by his siblings.

Luther gets,,, very good at watching the moon ;3c

“I don’t think Luther will be able to be an astronaut.” Ben points out delicately, “You need like, really good science grades and stuff and... I mean, potions is sort of a science but not exactly one you can put on your muggle applications.”

“One more dream crushed.” Vanya mutters.

“Hear hear.”

6 Weeks Into The Talking Stage - The Official Confession

I, Aone Takanobu, am in love.

The 6’4” beauty finally admitted that to himself for the first time: right now at this very moment. He currently stared at himself in the dirty mirror in the bathroom of the bowling alley he’d taken you to on a second date.

You were waiting for him patiently in your lane, happy, and keeping busy. Even just thinking about how cute you looked trying to pick up the heavy balls meant for the professionals—his heart skipped a beat. (Also recalling how great your ass and legs looked in those tight jeans when you bent over to roll the bowling ball...... Aone had to start looking away whenever you rolled now as to not allow his hormones to get the better of him).

Sure, Kenji-san knew Aone was in love with Y/N about 7 months in to his crush when he made them go to a cheerleading competition of yours even though he was heartbroken that you were seeing someone else.

And sure, Kogenagawa knew Aone was in love with Y/N when he’d seen his mountainous senpai who never showed emotion practically beg him to sneak the cupcake he held on Y/N’s desk on her birthday last year.

And sure, Katana Oulle knew Aone was in love with Y/N when he had been so shockingly in-tune with her best friend that he ran over and caught her just in time before she hit the grass at a cheer practice you invited him to last week. He hadn’t been standing that far from the stunt, so that isn’t what made her realize. It was the look on his face when he caught her: like she was the most important thing in the world.

And maybe Aone always did too, from the first day that he laid eyes on you and automatically pointed......but he just refused to believe it.

As he stared at himself in the mirror, Aone knew he was in love with you right now, at this moment because he was willing to let you go.

For the past six weeks Aone Takanobu has considered himself to be the luckiest man on the planet.

To get the opportunity to spend time with you, to hold your books, to make you smile, to make you laugh, he never knew it was possible to feel such strong levels of happiness.

His heart soared every time you approached him, every time you called his name, and he literally went to school early sometimes because he just couldn’t wait to see you.

To court you was even better.

He was finally able to tell you how pretty you looked each day and to see your face light up slightly when you saw him. He literally thought he’d either faint one day by how much your attention meant to him or that it’d get easier to see you, but it didn’t.

On your dates outside of school you seemed happy to Aone, and he tried to play it as cool as he could, but inside, he just wanted to skip this part already. If he thought it was bad to like you and you not notice him, THIS was worse:

He could make you smile at him on a date but you two weren’t serious enough that he could give you a good night kiss like he so desired. You were serious enough that you grabbed his hand sometimes to lead him somewhere you wanted him to be, but not serious enough that you held his hand absentmindedly like he had to stop himself from reaching to do a dozen times. You were serious enough to tell eachother that you enjoyed each others company, but not serious enough that you wouldn’t stop yourself from asking him if that girl that just walked by was “so pretty! Right, Aone?”

Staring at himself in the mirror in the bowling alley, Aone couldn’t understand how you didn’t know that no one else was pretty to him. At least not in the way you were asking about.

Why?

Because, as all your friends could see, you were IT for him.

And he loved you.

But that was ONLY solidified when you two were just out there in the bowling lanes. It occurred after Aone came behind you after you asked so he could wrap his arms around you to aid you in scoring your first ever strike. 🎳 With his steering and added strength: you did!

Like the cheerleader you are, you screamed and started jumping up and down. Your eyes went as wide as saucers when all the pins dropped and without thinking you jumped into Aone’s arms excitedly, wrapping your legs around his waist and hugging his neck so tightly it almost hurt the muscular man.

“Great job, Y/N.” Aone chuckled, his entire body drowning in exuberance as he held you back tightly, never wanting to let you go. Your scent the only thing he could smell, your embrace the only thing he could feel: it was all he ever wanted.

All he ever needed.

An older couple next to you that Y/N had built a friendly relationship with tonight clapped for her first strike, telling her how she is lucky to have such a bowling pro for a boyfriend.

Aone’s face went bright red and Y/N stilled in his arms. Takanobu reluctantly set you down gently, feeling the mood change to awkward as hell.

“Haha, thank you.” You said to the elderly couple awkwardly. “Aone-san is my just my friend, though.” You added.

Cue the feels again:

Feeling his heart drop worse than it had when you had asked your teacher who on earth he was, Aone swallowed thickly.

Friend?

The older couples’ face dropped too, and they looked up at Aone sympathetically, as they were clearly able to tell throughout watching their date that there were strong feelings on his end, just by the way he looked at Y/N.

Playing it very cool even with a squeezed heart, Aone took his next turn then excused himself to the bathroom.

Now, After splashing water on his face, he was here. Looking at his hurt reflection in the mirror.

Admitting finally to himself that he was in love.

So in love, in fact, that he realized that what he initially thought about just being around you being enough was furthest from the truth. Takanobu couldn’t just be your friend. He wouldn’t be able to handle not showing you the full extent of his feelings, it was hard enough as is. It wasn’t like he was crushing from afar anymore, you were on a date with him right now.

Kenji: ’Aone, Stop torturing yourself,’

Aone could practically hear the sound of his best friend Futakuchi from when he was telling Aone not to stay in a stage he isn’t happy with back when you never noticed him.

Aone nodded at the memory.

Kenji was right then, and he was right now.

Poor lovesick mountain man always let you take the reigns in whichever direction you wanted to go because he didn’t want to ruin things.

Yeah well, nothing could ruin things more than the love of his life referring to him as a friend.

Friends don’t crush on eachother for years, Aone thought earnestly, thinking about the countless nights he wished you’d just return his feelings. ☹️

Enough was enough.

He had to tell you.

Splashing water on his face one last time, Aone wiped his face quickly then stormed out of the men’s bathroom. He look frightening to others, this determined giant strutting toward bowling lane 9 like he had the most important news in the world to share.

But Aone didn’t care.

You looked up from tightening your ugly bowling shoe laces as you were speaking happily to the elderly couple—to finally see your date returning from the bathroom. Feeling butterflies because he was coming, you waved at him.

Aone didn’t wave back. He approached the three of you, towering over y’all, he addressed the couple first.

“Terribly sorry to interrupt.” Takanobu apologized rapidly. Then, he turned all his attention to you. You felt your entire body heat up under his intense (and sexy) gaze.

“Aone? What’s wro-“

“I’m not your friend, Y/N.” Mountain man snapped, interrupting you.

You pulled your eyebrows together, awestruck.

“W-what?”

“I said: I’m not your friend.”

Your mouth fell open, feeling very hurt. “Aone, S-sorry I thought you liked my p-personality a-and I just thought—“

“The reason I can’t be your friend is because I like you so much more than a friend Y/N. You have no idea how much more.”

Your jaw dropped wider than ever before, immediately relieved that he didn’t despise you.

The elderly couple hid their smiles behind their hands and slowly stepped back to give you two what little privacy two people could get in the centre of a bowling alley 🤷.

“Everything about you drives me absolutely insane, Y/N. In the best way.” Aone’s eyes softened as he thought about the things he loved about you. “Your spirit, your kindness, the way you support your friends...... the way you look when you don’t understand what the teacher is saying, the way you put your all into simple fundraisers because it would help your team, even the way you can’t notice when a classmate who has been crushing on you for over two years feels heartbroken when you refer to him as a friend.”

A/N: TELL HER BABY!!!!!

You were speechless as he continued.

“I’m not your friend. I don’t want to be. I want to be everything else for you. Everything more. Y/N, I have a confession to make.”

Mountain man chuckled stoically to himself because it was a little too late to announce a confession. Pushing on, Aone took a deep breath first. You looked so cute when you were speechless and it made his stomach flip.

“Y/N-chan, remember when you asked me after our first lunch together if the reason I spoke so much to you was because you might be special to me..? And I responded saying that if you let me take you on a few dates I’ll know for sure....?”

You nodded ever so slightly.

Aone stepped closer to you, wanting his confession to not be misinterpreted. He dipped his head down so that he could say this next part in your ear.

“Honestly, I cannot think of anyone more special to me than you, Y/N. I am absolutely crazy about you. I have been for years.”

The sound of his attractive voice in your ear so serious and unwavering, giving you such a groundbreaking and passionate confession, it made your knees wobble. You reached out to clutch his strong arms for support. Aone put his hands on your waist protectively, feeling you sway.

“Y/N. Are you alright?” There was concern all wrapped up in this beautiful man’s voice in your ear.

How much he cared for you was evident in his voice. Evident in his soft hold of your waist.......

After a few moments, you pulled back to look up at him.

How much he truly wanted to treasure you was especially evident in his eyes.

Like the lightbulb switch of the century, it finally clicked to you that you’d heard that same level of care in his voice before. The back of your brain that throws out memories that are not connected to cheer, specific ones—were brought to the forefront of your brain, flashing in bright lights. You recognized Aone’s voice now, his hold, his look:

His face now showed up in your mind as you remembered glimpses of seeing Aone through the years,

When Aone told Tsume to leave you alone all those weeks ago, the same care for you was evident in his voice. When you raced out of library after slapping Futakuchi across the face, you’d almost bumped into someone and the hold on your waist to steady you with care back then was the same hold Aone held you in now. That was him. And those eyes— the desire in Aone’s eyes were the same eyes that watched you when you slammed a fundraiser flyer on his cafeteria table and smiled at the table dismissively. He was at that table. Desiring you.

All those memories happened; days, weeks, months, even years ago: which meant Aone cared about you even then. He was telling you the truth.

You couldn’t believe it.

You leaned into him for support, into the man that made your heart flutter—something you’ve never felt before—the man you had told your best friends Katana and Kusa that you could happily spend the rest of your life with just this morning. Resting your head on his chest, you nodded in response to his question about whether you were okay or not because your knees had gone weak.

Aone gently moved you so that he could caress your beautiful face as he looked down at you, studying your features.

“You are perfect.....” He said softly. This big, giant, scary mountain man was being so soft....for you. “I wish I could be whatever you wanted me to be and just be platonic. But I can’t shut off these feelings. They just get stronger and stronger. Therefore, I can’t just be your friend, Y/N. It is killing me. I apologize.”

You stared up into the dark but sincere eyes of the athlete, searching for any indication that he didn’t mean all that he just said to you since he’d returned.

Of course, you found none. There was none in your newly clear memories of him staring at you in class either and definitely none now. The boy was as serious as a heart attack.

“Aone,” you whispered, surprised that any sound even came out.

“Hm?” He grunted.

You curled your finger at him again, and Aone automatically bent down so you could whisper in his ear.

You got super close to his ear, feeling heady because this is obviously where he spritzed his heavenly cologne that turned you into putty so it was strongest here.

You took a deep breath of his delicious scent before asking what you had told your girlfriends you would ask him next weekend.

“Aone Takanobu, will you be my boyfriend?”

You ask.

Aone gasps. Freezing his entire body, he looked like:

Mountain Man just stood there bent to your level, frozen like meat in the freezer—holding that cute just-got-electrocuted expression.

You don’t need me to tell you that this big baby was feeling as dubious as ever. He could not for the life of him speak because he was so in disbelief that this was real.

Feeling needed in this crucial moment, the elderly couple that you two have made friends with quickly shuffled behind you so that they could see Aone.

“Blink twice if the answer is yes!” Offered the elderly man with a smile as he held the waist of his wife of 30+ years.

Aone couldn’t speak but he thanked the older couple infinitely inside, before blinking twice.

“He said yes, dear!” Called the woman to you as she clutched onto her husbands shirt in excitement.

You smiled into Aone’s shoulder as you hugged your new boyfriend, kissing his cheek over and over.

Aone needed a long time to sit down and recover, seeing as this shock was more severe than the first time you kissed his cheek in the hallway. You thought it was so adorable how much you affected him and so you just ended up bowling with the elderly couple until your boyfriend was back to using words instead of blinks to communicate.

Half an hour later when the initial shock had sunk in, Aone called you over.

You happily obeyed, making yourself comfortable in his lap.

“Y/N. Am I dreaming?” He asked seriously. “Or did you really agree to be my girlfriend?”

You laughed loudly, wrapping your arms around his neck. You leaned in to kiss his cheek and a blush from his pale cheeks immediately greeted your lips.

“Actually,” you kissed the same spot again. “You agreed to be my boyfriend. But, yes!”

Aone nodded curtly, looking straight at the bowling pins as his cheek tingled due to your kisses.

“I see.”

He turned his head to lean down and return a kiss to your cheek for the first time ever. Along with him, your entire body felt like it turned to goo when he kissed you, you liked him so much.

“Well, Y/N, I still don’t feel like this is real yet, and for that I apologize, but please don’t get me wrong: I need you to know that this is the happiest day of my life.....” His words melted into your heart. He’s so romantic.

You beamed.

“Mine too, Aone baby... Mine too.”

Oh glob, what have I gotten myself into? Just some long updates lol XD

Well, the year’s almost over, and it’s already the second half. The first half was too much and to be honest, I had to swim with the circumstances I am in right now so I had to put this passion non-profit project on hold, like seriously. But I did started translating the first few pages as early as December last year, as my very nice benefactor actually sent me the rest of the entire set of the Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi series after sending off the first 4 volumes. Probably read the entire thing first. But hey, free stuff is free so why complain. Plus my benefactor actually got the entire set for a steal, won’t say how much but in Amazon Japan, the last time I checked the whole set is roughly around $150 or a bit around that. and that’s just the first 7 volumes. Probably there’s an entire set now that’s about $200, as the final volume was released around August 2019.

Spoiler alert: the entire light novel series is made up of 10 volumes, so if you read it, the afterword by Yuuma-sensei specifically says that volume 10 is the final one, and Yuuma-sensei feels sad about it.

Yeah I highlighted that part in red, just in case many Kakuriyo fans still have some extreme hunger pangs or are unsure whether the novel series has ended. Here you go, straight from the horse’s mouth. Yuuma-sensei also has another Ayakashi light novel series, 浅草鬼嫁日記, roughly-translated to “Asakusa Wife from Hell Diaries”. Seems fun, they’re literally ogres - Oni living in the real world, like a reverse Kakuriyo thing. Who knows, maybe someday I can score that series too lol. The writer really likes Ayakashi, if it’s not that obvious yet 草 草 草 草  yeah I write kusa lol oml I should stop... But returning to the Kakuriyo series.. I won’t spoil what happened lol but I will probably make a commentary on that once I get the translations up and running.

Which leads me to my next announcement:

I PLAN TO UPLOAD THE DIRECT TRANSLATIONS OF JUST THE INTERMISSIONS/INTERLUDES ( 幕間 ) AND THE AFTERWORDS (あとがき) OF EACH VOLUME.

Chapter 5 is the only complete and full English Translation that I will be uploading here, and the rest will be summarized versions of the chapters plus my translation notes and commentaries.

Bummer, right?

Well, to be honest, after starting my initial translations I ran into several issues which made me feel sucker-punched and added to the stuff I’m worried about:

Issues regarding plagiarism (either my stuff getting plagiarized or potentially being accused of it)

Translating everything actually takes too long, even for me (I’ll explain that later)

More serious issues like possible DMCA-ish complaints (won’t want my hardwork just getting flagged and killed)

Personal stuff piling up and affecting my momentum

To be honest, when I received the books, I was so excited to work with them and upload as much as I can. But lots of things happened one after another, plus the worldwide issue that we have right now, so doing fun stuff wasn’t at the front of my priorities. So at the moment, I am mostly offline, by necessity, like connection is slower and with data cap, so I mostly do my translations with whatever hardcopies of dictionaries that I have on hand, offline. It’s good and all since I can put my skills to the test, but it can be expected that not all of the words are available in the books so I still have to hook on Jisho just to find the missing words I need. So my stuff pretty much looks like this:

I could just take pictures of these and upload them here but the maximum number of pics that tumblr allows is 15, and good glob I have more than 15 pages of translated material. Plus, as you can see above, some parts are untranslated and I had to find them in Jisho once I get online, so right now I have about 50% word-processed with the raw parts cooked, and I only have 12 raw pages remaining to be cooked and hashed lol

Which leads me to my next issues: my slowness (yeah I have to surrender on my slowness) and my fears regarding plagiarism.

I actually only started doing these translations in full blast around 2 months ago, and eventually I had to slow down so I won’t get bogged down since I also do other stuff. But I found out that ploughing through it can get quite draining. I started thinking that fan-subbing and scanlating were easier because aside from working digitally, these were also mostly done in teams so work time gets cut. Well, those were the days lol But for this one, aside from flying solo, I had to use all of my offline resources a lot, like doing everything by hand. It finally broke me about half-way and I had to step away from it, like reaaaaally step away from it. I thought I could finish 50+ pages in a span of a week. Well, I wasn’t exactly wrong there, but I also had other stuff to do, and if I just read it like I would any book without having to do anything, it’s a done deal. But having to translate stuff was draining, I felt frustrated so it broke me. I have to write each page by hand, leave out the words I can’t find or don’t know, and move on to the next page until my body stops working. Rinse and repeat until I could finish about 10 pages and get on with the typesetting and completing the missing parts. That takes a while so I just do my best to be patient.

Then the thoughts of plagiarism popped in and out, like I started thinking how to ensure that my stuff doesn’t get stolen and reposted elsewhere, or worse, getting my site shut down because fan translations are ambiguously illegal, like fansubs and scanlations, and I think those were what got me the most, so I just gave up midway. I’d say ambiguously illegal because if a series or title wasn’t licensed elsewhere then translating it is a fair game. But if it’s already released as a translated version by publishers, then releasing a translated version is like labelled as stealing, even if it’s non-profit. Of course profiteering is the worst, some steal what others work hard for, that they did for free, and sell them off. Scumbags to the bone smh I do my best to be within the fair use thing since I understand how much effort is made in creating content, so at present I have just decided to just put up the intermissions and the afterwords because aside from these being only a few pages long, it’s less likely to get whacked. Plus it’s easier for my psyche to just sum up each chapter and add some comments on it so it won’t be taken down, plus I wont’ be too-attached so even if some nutjobs repost it elsewhere because some people are just unempathetic like that, at least I won’t be as resentful. Plus the afterwords are just so cute, Yuuma-sensei gives off an adorable and relatable vibe, so I feel like aside from just showing off her stories, I think she needs to get signal-boosted too, so people would have an idea on who wrote this hunger-inducing light novel series lol.  I only started to pick up the whole thing again about a week ago, and I still wasn’t fast but at least I got to add at least 20 more pages translated, plus I started to type the first pages and add the missing words so at the very least, I felt some sort of achievement. It gave me some hope, and to be honest I have been doing this to maintain my sanity even for just a bit, so I guess I will do my best to bring Yuuma-sensei’s work out into the world. It’s a really good series, and it got animated into 2 seasons, plus the manga’s out, so that says a lot on how the series caught on. It can’t be denied that it’s a really engrossing series, so I don’t see any reason why this really good series should remain hidden. It probably has a lot of fans but aren’t being too attached into it because of language barriers, and even in my own way, I would like to bridge that gap. I mean, I may have slow internet that can only open mails in basic html but hey, this is the least I could do for the fandom. It’s not like I spew out doujin stuff or anything lol

Please don’t expect any fast uploads lol it’s not like I do ctrl+A into Google translate and slap it in here. Nothing against doing that but.. uhm, sometimes AI don’t get the nuances translated, and a lot gets lost in translation, so at best, anything done by some trash enthusiast, even noobs can still have some oomph in it that soulless beings can’t even top off. But hey, that’s just my opinion lol

So yeah, there you have it, a long update. Oh, and I changed the name of this blog because I have other raw stuff that I may be able to put here without any fear of being taken down because they’re in the public domain, so they’re all fair game since I don’t get any profit from them anyway and others may also appreciate them too. Hint: One is a series of Japanese classic  fantasy short stories, the other one is a set of instructional manuals on how to write kana and kanji in ballpen and brushpens. They’re a bit lighter so once I get Chapter 5 up I’ll do them as soon as I get rested.

Day 1 of HOME ZERO; #FULL BODY EXPERIENCE

Pre Pre

Found Natacha’s channel thanks to another Youtube channel (someone was reviewing Natacha’s yum yum habits) a few months ago. I have liked her vibe and decided to subscribe especially since she didn’t seem to be recommending any of the usual ‘clean’ eating mindset that most of fitness gurus do. Yes, it was important to me and still is and my relationship with food is really too complicated so the fact that I found someone who just makes things easy and non toxic in any  way is amazing.

Day 0 (aka Tuesday)

 I have bought Natacha Oceane’s HOME RELOAD (yes, you are reading right) and I have figured while indulging myself in eating in the .... well basically everything I could get my hands on (because reading all these COVID news are not really inviting healthy coping mechanics); that I am not sure why I am waiting till Monday to get started with HOME ZERO (yes, bought second program before even starting first one, I must be a genius)... and while looking around the AFLETE app I felt excitement and I am the type to just ‘go for it’ if I really wanna do it.

My mindset and surrounding stuff

Current Relationship with food: It is still super complicated (I am clearly on binge side). I have read the nourishing ebook Natacha attached to the app and used the calculator thingie (with a bit of fear as I tend to get obsessive) and it said I am supposed to be eating 2020 kcal (34 y o; 165 cm, +-58kg). That has mentally stopped me as - well; according to it I must be undereating. I have decided to give it a chance (even if I am terrified of gaining further weight) and actually track my food throughout. LET’S MAKE IT SCIENCE. As of wednesday I live in tier 3 (means I am out of job until Tier 2 comes back, if you are confused check out UK’s COVID rules) I have nothing better to do.

Body health: So far HEALTHY. The only things is that 6 months earlier I got a mysterious kneecap injury and while it is nowwhere near as bad as originally,  SOMETIMES - SOMETIMES. SO yeah, Natacha’s plyo jumpin stuff makes me feel very tentative.

Fitness level: During Lockdown 1 - I lost 16 kgs, started practicing yoga (YES! ADRIENE) plus do another normal exercise regime, I got so into it that during lockdown 2 I started using DownDog app (check it out they have the whole range and I LOVE THEM). I was so fit that yesterday I felt super confident with Natacha’s ZERO program and started worrying about it being to easy and me being bored. I also missed saying during last 3 months I have personal trainer with physio background whom I decided to see because of my knee issues.

DAY 1 FINALLY (WEDNESDAY FOR CONFUSED)

I have woken up and measured myself from all sides

(all in cm: upper arm 24; shoulders 96; chest 83; Tummy 79; Hips 84; Thigh 49; Weight: 59; Body Fat% 23.2) I will just keep track of it weekly. No photos because... I am self conscious :)

Then went to work (relevant smh) and I yeah, didn’t think much of the fact that today would be quite fitness relevant. Anyways everyone at work were quite surprised by how strong I am (I mean I realized I moved stuff with ease, that stuff being the one I had issues with beforehand if we are honest)... so yeah, I really thought the program will be super easy especially since I was checking out the exercises and they seemed like a no-brainer.

I came back and then... well, I underestimated the power of Natacha ;).

First of all I had to outsource warm up exercises (she doesn’t provide them, and her ebook recommends so...) - youtube was a go, I went for stuff that doesn’t include jumping and off we gooo...

OKAY. Honestly, I knew my hands are weak. Like I am pretty wide in the shoulders for a girl (I am aware of that lol) so I have always thought something comes with it but naaa. Also. Exercises themselves are a no-brainer ...if you take only one rep and go to next one. If you do as she asks you to - you are stuck doing 12 reps and do it 3/4 times. Honestly 30s to 60s breaks became a blessing after 3rd exercise and my lord and SAVIOUR after 4th. Only one exercise I had to stop every 6 reps and give myself a breath because I just couldn’t and it was not even the one I have thought I would have issues with (spoiler alert: it was plank shoulder tap to sit up). Overall only once in the whole set I thought of stopping and it was then after I was done with it it became easier. Just my arms. UGH. Stretching after also was outsourced (AND VERY NECESSARY).

That being said. I have logged it on my iwatch as functional strength training, it took me an hour and 10 mins roughly t complete and it says I have burnt 210 kcal during that time. During the whole exercise regime my heart rate was anywhere above 100 BPM to 140 BPM in extreme cases. As expected my shoulders are a bit stiff but tomorrow is a Leg Day so that should not really concern me anyways.

As we are super late in the evening now. I have eaten 1800 kcal today and first time in 3 days I cant say I have binged.

Way to prove me that I am not as fit as I thought I am and I am so excited to see where this leads me!

⭐ BTS 2019 Outlook Reading - Oracle Reading

[For the sake of not cementing anything or putting cracks in positive potentialities I wanted to focus more on their integration process and soul progression, and just sprinkle in the potentialities that seem to already be cemented in place and carry the most energy. I am hoping that doing an actual set spread will make things much cleaner and easier to gauge than with the original OT7 2018/2018 Outlook reading that I did back in July. For this reading I am going to use the Wisdom of The Oracle, the Angelarium: Oracle of Emanations, Chakra Reading Cards, and the Tarotwave decks. This is an original spread by me based on an extended from the Floater’s Club reading that is featured in my shop. This reading lasted 5 hours. ]

This reading was performed on November 30, 2018.

Pre-Reading:

There is no way in hell I’m going to go through this reading without going through key points of the original OT7 2018/2019 Outlook reading because I just read through that shit again and the amount of information in there that didn’t make any sense at all prior to the whole Soul Body Map and Healing is astounding.

As I was reading it I was in a constant state of facepalm because there was so much that I was channeling but just wasn’t understanding fully. Like I said the divine intervention was the least likely thing to occur and that divine intervention was literally the Soul Body Healing that took place about a month later. Honestly, smh.

Just so we can keep things straight, the original outlook reading is what triggered that whole Soul Body Map thing. I think it was like a couple of days after I posted it, so about a month and a half or two months after I started seeing “The Wobble” I got the first image of the Soul Body. It was all a thing, very dramatic. If you were around for all of that, I’m sure you remember me crawling back to Tumblr dot com to let you all know that I was still alive but just hanging on by a thread after about five hours of some extremely intense energy shifting nonsense.

So, yeah, I’m going to go through some key points of the original reading to explain things from this much clearer perspective that I have now because good lord was I an idiot. I’ll include quotes and stuff from the original reading here so you don’t have to go back and re-read it, however, it is still a pretty interesting post nonetheless.

Timelines folding over — I’ve been going on about the timelines folding over for a couple of weeks now (as of November 30th) because that is literally what has started happening for the collective.

It’s why a lot of other readers are starting to get these very negative reads on BTS. Not only are the timelines folding over and bringing the past into the present moment energetically, people are also ascending, so their receptibility to those energies are getting stronger, they’re just not aware that it’s something from the past, that it’s hollow, and by posting about it they are seeding it into the current collective timeline that A LOT of the Soul Group is still on.

In the original reading, the very first card out was The Tower. It was a literal bright neon sign flashing in my face before I even started the readings telling me that the timeline I was going to be reading was one that was going to collapse. Like… why am I dumb? I mean I should have figured that since 2019 and 2020 are like big years for timeline merging and collapse, but like, what the fuck right?

But yeah, that was a bit of an obvious thing, so I should have known that everything up to 2019 was a soon to be an old paradigm, it was something that was already crumbling away specifically because it was not in alignment with what they were supposed to be doing.

However, the outside manipulation was slowing things down, it was causing problems, but whether or not the Soul Body Healing took place, it would have been taken care of. It would have all been fixed by way of the high vibrational beings, the high-frequency light beings that I mentioned towards the end of that reading. The Soul Body Healing literally just sped things up by a lot while also raising the collective vibration of the Soul Group.

So, it wasn’t really necessary, but it had an incredibly huge, massive, positive influence over the Soul Body, the Soul Group, and the guys on a conscious and physical level.

To best explain it, you could say that it was absolutely necessary within the previous timeline, the one that is currently folding over on itself and collapsing, but on the current one, it wasn’t at all. All that was necessary was for them to be able to jump timelines, which is what the Soul Body Healing did…

This would be why everything started to “jump forward." Like when I tried to do this reading at the end of September and everything I predicted for a three-month timeframe literally all happened within three days of me finishing it… do you know how mad I was about that? Omg.

It’s like as soon as the healing hit the conscious layers they started hitting the skip button and everything just ran through super fast to get them to this point that they are currently at. It was like shortcutting to the integration process that they missed before due to the previous timeline.

See, this is why I never brought up timelines in detail — it’s way too fucking complicated especially if you’re still looking at time as being linear and running side by side rather than happening within itself and all at once.

This is why I still insist on people not paying much attention to rumors or any of that low-vibe shit because that’s literally anchored into a collapsing timeline. It’s dead energy, it doesn't matter. It’s only projecting through collective perception.

Pretty much you can see it as a giant portion of the Soul Group and the general public playing hot potato with a rotting corpse. It’s cold and gross and you look silly tossing it around as though it actually means anything anymore. The only things that matter and have life are what you choose to focus on, especially now that timelines are shifting and people are projecting their reality more and more.

The Transition from Fire to Water — This was a big thing all throughout the original reading as well as within the Soul Body especially when it came to the healing process. I’ve explained it now in the Rap Line Relationship reading so I won’t go into here, but yet again, the whole Fire to Water things was another neon sign I missed when it came to what I was actually being shown.

Like, I got the gist of it with how things were going from the soul to the conscious mind, that was literally what disconnected Namjoon from the source energy, to begin with, but I don’t think I was considering all the layers of energy and consciousness.

Actually, I know I wasn’t because with that reading I was only using the Wisdom of the Oracle deck and the Rider-Wait deck, which means I was focusing on their Guides and their conscious alignment… IDIOT.

But it’s fine, I figured it out later through a month-long journey through a fucking soul map.

But yeah, the Water and Fire thing, the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine, shifting from one to the other, was all spelled out pretty clear there.

In the Soul Body, the Fire energy was being shoved in by way of outside manipulation and was causing even more instability. Literally, the healing was done by forcing “Water” through every single energy line in the body, spinning the energy to raise the frequency, and then reconnecting lines to where they needed to be in order to allow the restructuring to occur.

New Life and Regeneration — Literally, I was so fucking on point with that. If you’ve read through all of the solo readings for December, then you know that the “regeneration” that I talked about, the integration of the Higher Self into the conscious layers and the physical body is happening right now. They’re in that mode with the collective. They’re not all on the same level at the moment, but they are experiencing this process right now.

5 of Wands, Pressure — In the original reading within the timeframe of the first half of 2018, I talk about the signatures of that timeframe and what was going to be leading into the second half. The 5 of Wands was a card that came out in a set and this is what I wrote about it:

“This all comes to a head and clashes under The Tribe card with the 5 of Wands. This is aggression, fighting, and general conflict. There are tension and aggravation within a certain set of them that are getting more and more stressed out. A lot of pressure building up. I see this as being a physical manifestation of "The Wobble.””

This wasn’t a physical manifestation of the group’s energy, this was literally just Hoseok. The pressure building up at this time was his energy center in the Soul Body. Even the readings I did where his energy was present would have him coming out with Wands, Fire energy, in almost all of them. You can even go back to Hoseok and Yoongi’s relationship reading which I posted 5 days after the original outlook reading. And again in his Elemental Alignment reading which came out four days after the Outlook reading.

This here was something that I wrote in Hoseok’s EA reading when I pulled the 5 of Wands, the Knight of Wands, and the Ace of Wands in one go for him:

“Extremely Aggressive Energy - These were the first cards to come out while I was shuffling. Specifically, these three cards are the most WAND ENERGY of the Wand suit. Five of Wands is aggression and conflict. The Knight of Wands is like my idea of “double fire” and pertains to speed and action, all movement, no thinking. And of course, the Ace of Wands is like Elemental Fire on the level of Divinity — it holds a lot of potentials, a lot of BIG IDEAS that in this set here are just not possible. It’s just a lot, it feels very manic, it’s moving in a bunch of different directions in a small place. It’s very tense energy and very aggressive. With this I saw the image of the boxer again, trying to get this tension and aggravation out through aggressive action and inflicting pain on himself.”

Like, I swear to god, if I could go back in time and slap myself across the face and scream “WAKE UP, SHEEPLE” I would because how did I miss that? How did it take me a month to figure out that Hoseok’s energy center was where the fucking Fire energy was coming into the Soul Body?

This energy was literally his energy center, and it was starting to manifest on a conscious level, or it had been already, but it was just starting to get to a point where “pressure was building” because he, on a conscious level, was pushing it down as it was coming up as severe mood swings, stress, and anxiety — aspects of himself that he prefers to hide.

The Lovers and the 4 of Pentacles were Yoongi — In the second half of 2018 timeframe of the original reading I had pulled these cards as part of a set that would cover the last six months of the year. This is what I wrote about them:

“The Lovers - Some sort of connection with the Guides. Feeling Divinely Guided to do something, some sort of shift. First opportunity to shift or regain actual control. I saw Namjoon and Yoongi for this one so either Mr. Know-It-All-Virgo Man or Mr. Feel-It-All-Pisces Man is going to get the fucking hint and try to do something. This might be the collaborative work.

4 of Pentacles - The low vibration, earthly influence is going to step in. Literally just like the image, trapping them, controlling them for money’s sake. Really putting a stopper on whatever it is that Namjoon or Yoongi is going to do. Kind of tightening the grip, hands around the neck a lot tighter. It’s like if this happens their Guides are going to be fighting with whatever is guiding the people who are restricting them.”

Again it’s so obvious and I hate myself.

Yoongi was the one, as I’ve mentioned about a thousand times, who was the most coherent through the whole thing, he was very aware of something being wrong. He was the only one out of all of them to remain connected to the unconscious mind, and therefore stayed connected to his inner knowing, guidance, and awareness.

In the Rap Line Relationship reading, I shared images of what I had been shown just recently about how the energy was being exchanged, and there was a note on it about how Namjoon’s energy center was splitting the transmissions between the remnant and Yoongi’s unconscious mind. That was why I was seeing both Yoongi and Namjoon here.

They were working together on this, working on establishing a reconnect, but it was happening unconsciously.

The transmission Yoongi was receiving could have put ports in the music in a way where they could have been filled, but as we all know now, a lot of his work was rejected for the albums around that time. So, he was channeling, pretty much filling in for Namjoon, but in a low-vibe manipulated twist of fate, his work that carried the transmissions was getting shut down.

How interesting.

Again, I’m sure it would have fucking clicked if I had considered the layers of consciousness and energy here. I honestly can’t remember why I didn’t.

Brand deals overseas and “time to go” — Within the same time frame as the previous set I had gotten this whole thing about being so run down that the group collectively started to think about leaving or about changing things up in some way in terms of how they work. (December 20, 2018 Edit: Lol, Jin literally dropped the bomb saying that they thought about disbanding earlier this year.) It had to do with them getting sick during the tour, getting injured, being run down and all of this happening because their Guides were trying to get them so uncomfortable with that situation that they had to rethink their position and demand more.

Literally, it culminated around the contract renewal. All of them getting injured and sick or feeling overworked in that tight space of time while they were on tour is what helped them present their demands or conditions while renewing their contract, therefore putting them back (slightly) into a position of power.

The brand deals overseas that I mentioned as well were part of that as it presented more money that they would be aware that they weren’t getting a fair cut of or something like that. Something about the overseas deals making money and appropriate cuts a priority so that, in that way as well, they could take back control or a higher position in a sense.

This is what I wrote about the Time To Go card:

“The three cards in the middle are Imagine, Peace, and Time To Go. They really interested me because they came out like that on top of each other. I didn’t really understand it at first until I had laid out the other two sets and slapped them in the middle. Really, if you just read them out as they are the message is clear, “Imagine peace, time to go.” — They will be overworked and fed up with what is going on, so much so that they, as a group or as individuals, will contemplate leaving the tour, quitting the group, or something would happen to them physically that would literally just put one of them in the hospital again. Again this will be a challenge or a push from their Guides to get them to break away from the bindings that they would potentially be in at this time.”

Namjoon being a focus due to his disconnect — I dropped the ball on this one, I think. The mending aspect to Namjoon’s awareness, his “Deep Knowing” is what was actually being presented here, again, through the level of the unconscious rather than the conscious mind. That is why the focus was on him when it came to their Guides. He is literally the Crown Chakra of the Soul Body, if he is disconnected, they are all disconnected.

They were focusing on him, presenting things to him constantly to try and trigger him into reconnecting. This is why I was seeing the solo album with this set — they were using that as a means to get him re-integrate or merge with his Higher Self again through soul connection or inner awareness.

The reason I was seeing him as being the first or the one to lead the shift in awareness is that, well, he is the fucking Crown. He shifts everything, he leads everything on every level. This was not happening on a conscious level so him being the one to bring things up with the company was an absolute toss, and was more in line with what Yoongi would have been doing as he was more involved with this consciously.

The Leg Up and Go The Distance shit wasn’t something he was going to do or already doing, it was the literal timeline that they were meant to be shifting to. Literally, his Guides were very blatantly telling me that they were trying to “Mend” his “Deep Knowing” so that he could get “A Leg Up” — Jump — to the upper timeline which, as I get to, later on, is represented by Go The Distance.

This is what I wrote for this bit:

“This came out and once I laid them out I instantly saw Namjoon, so this has to do with him. I think he will be the first to really start thinking of ways out or he will be acting as the leader and bringing up his concerns with the company. The Deep Knowing and Mending are there in that energy, him understanding somewhat of what is happening and trying to fix it. This knowledge and understanding of the situation will make it difficult for him to be manipulated, giving him A Leg Up and allowing him to Go The Distance. This bit here read more as potential. Like, right now with the path they are on Namjoon will, for sure, get to this point, but the bottom two cards only stand as an option that he will have.

With this, I was also seeing solo projects or collaboration projects, focus on a solo album or a release of a solo album. I don’t know if that was specifically for Namjoon, but I fucking hope it is because RM was the best album of all time and literally no one can convince me that RM 2.0 won’t be equivalent to the second coming of Christ.

Either way, one of them is going to have some awareness or some sense of being stifled and will branch out and put a lot of energy into solo work around this time in order to speak. (I don’t have confirmation and I didn’t see or get anything about it, but I feel like this is definitely Namjoon because so far he is the only one in BTS that had full alignment with their Higher Selves in their Elemental Alignment reading. He is a highly developed soul, he’s had multiple lifetimes with all of the other guys, and he’s one of the more “Special” cases that their Guides are really focusing on — so I think he’s the one that will be doing this, but that’s just a thought from me.)”

Like, honestly, throughout this whole reading I was like right on top of things but then at the last minute, I would just veer the fuck off a cliff simply because I was focused on the conscious state.

See, this is a great example of why I always tell people that it’s good to be aware of the layers of consciousness whether you’re the one doing the reading or you’re just someone who is reading someone else’s work. Not being aware of all the layers can make what you are picking up on very cloudy and messy, and relatively inaccurate.

Keep that in mind, peeps.

The Soul Body Healing was literally right there — Right after the previous bit in the first half of 2019, the very first card I pulled for the timeframe was the 8 of Wands which I described like this:

“This bit here would be leading from the potential of one or more people in BTS having awareness of the situation and also having the balls to speak up about it to the company. Again, these are in order of how things could potentially play out.

8 of Wands - A lot of energy would swoop in, it actually feels very manic. Like, it would have all built up and the second just one of them opens the floodgates it’s game over. I was seeing connections happening here, like their Guides and their Higher Selves would have more connection to their subconscious and would then be able to give them a bigger shove in the right direction. They would really feel this happen and we as an audience might even see this, might catch it in things they say or do around this time if this is where they end up.”

This was literally the Soul Body healing, like plain and simple, this is what this is. Even the use of the term “floodgates” vibes so hard with the actual healing it’s embarrassing.

The connections were happening through the Soul group on a conscious and unconscious level which raised the vibration enough to direct the energy through to the Soul Body which allowed for the reconnection and restructuring to occur, and then for the connection and reintegration to start happening with the Higher Selves and for their Guides to be more involved.

And yeah, they really felt this happen and, no shit, we as an audience saw it happen, like what the fuck. I’m honestly so mad, I hate re-reading my posts because I’m always like “this is hard to explain” or I’ll say something and it’s just slightly off and I’m like WHY? WHY ARE YOU DUMB? YOU CAN LITERALLY SEE THIS WHY DID YOU WRITE IT LIKE THAT??

Like, honestly, the fact that my Guides literally told me that I need to study more so they can show things more clearly and so that I can understand more is probably due to this shit right here.

Collective shift and alignment with the Divine Feminine — Yin and Yang, the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine were a big thing in the original reading and at the time I was completely unaware of the fact that one of the biggest points to the ascension process is a collective (global collective) reconnect with the Divine Feminine.

A lot of people that talk about the shift and the ascension process were alluding to this most likely fleshing itself out more within the collective in the earlier half of 2019. The second half of 2019 is the timeframe that I pulled the Yin card out all on its own, separate from the Divine Masculine counterpart, Yang, and since everything is shifting forward for them, speeding up so that they can be ahead of their soul group and lead a smoother shift, it makes more sense of why that was there.

I was kind of on track with that, I guess, but for the most part, I was still focused on intuitive and emotional connection, which is accurate, I guess, as the “acting through soul/heart” thing is exactly how that would be presented consciously.

Alignment with the higher timeline — All throughout the original reading the “Go The Distance” card was presented as a representative of the higher timeline, the one they recently jumped to, the one that is NOT currently collapsing in on itself and making everyone who’s tied to lower frequencies get even more insane, and it’s very interesting that it's directly associated with the “divine intervention” that occurred through the Soul Body healing by way of raising vibration through the collective Soul Group.

Towards the end of the reading, the potentials were getting very spread out and weak, but the strongest ones were the last two which I wrote out like this:

“The Star - Divine Intervention. Call back to the “Go The Distance” set in the previous section with The Fates and Higher Power. Basically, something beyond their Guides, something of extremely high vibration would actually intervene and set them back to where they need to be. This would be an extreme shift. It’s very unlikely that this will happen, but in a sense, their Guides have already put out a “notice” that they are drifting and being manipulated away from their path, and if necessary they will need to be thrown the fuck back on it, which is kind of out of their realm of capability as Guides.

The Magician - Radical Rebellion. This could either be a solo thing, or this is the result of The Star. This is where they would decide they’ve had enough and basically go on strike or some shit like that. Demand more or just go against the company and low-vibe people every chance they get. Speaking out against them, making music to be released privately, leaking shit, just random things like that. They would take everything they had and use it to change their situation. Again, this is very unlikely, and I do think it really is with The Star and not something they would just do out of nowhere.”

Someone needs to shame me for this because like… I talk about independent layers of awareness and evolution of the human consciousness through ascension, yet I was severely in denial about divine intervention happening in a way that would be noticeable… and then proceeded to fucking man the ship of that divine intervention like a month later… amazing.

It was a “path of least resistance” thing as well, like the same reason my readings following the original outlook reading carried transmissions for the soul group is the same reason I was the one to get the fucking soul map in the first place.

Summation spelling shit out — The very final set of cards at the end of the reading were the most blatant and straight up way of saying, “no matter what happens, this shit is going to get cleared up.”

The ascension itself is a natural process like it’s literally evolution, it literally will happen to everyone no matter what. The stress and the issue with it were that you have all this built up energy, multiple lifetimes that were all leading to this moment in which they, as individually developed souls, would literally be the driving force behind millions of people’s ascension.

Like… would you not be pissed if you put in hundreds of years of work towards letting parts of your body that you cut off to grow into individual people so that they could change the world and shit, and then right at the last minute, in the last lifetime, everything just gets taken away and millions of people fall behind and have to take a slightly more pressurized and potentially traumatizing process towards conscious evolution.

I ask again:

WOULD YOU NOT BE PISSED?

So, in the previous timeline, the Soul Body healing was necessary not only for them to shift up, but for the soul group to maintain a heightened vibration while they were “incapacitated.”

With the current timeline, the one they are on and some of the people in the Soul Group are on, it’s almost like the Soul Body healing didn’t happen because it’s almost like the Soul Body manipulation didn’t happen. It literally doesn’t matter. It existed only to boost them up and to help the Soul Group maintain a higher vibration, and now it’s done.

Pretty much the collective station now is that you are where you are, and now everyone is just moving individually. So, if you jumped timelines already, great, if you didn’t, you will eventually. Just as it is with BTS, the ascension is just happening now. There’s no real need for anyone over a certain vibration or frequency to put effort into it or make a big fuss about it unless they want to.

For instance, I’ve been told straight up that I can stop with the blog and all the readings and stuff and just go back to living a normal human life because I’m pretty much done with what I was supposed to do, but I have the choice to stick around and help people that need it.

It’s on an individual basis now, it’s past the tipping point, so it’s more about being in that Divine Feminine flow, that receptive energy. Just in a space of allowing things to happen as they need to and not allowing yourself to literally stay in a collapsing timeline.

It’s all some shit, isn’t it, lol.

So, let’s get on with the actual reading.

Just to avoid making the same mistakes as last time, I am going to be using a lot of cards and a lot of energy analysis to be sure that I am reading the right levels at the right time. Jimin may have a harder time with this depending on whether Kook and Hoseok are in positions to help him through it.]

[Extremely comfortable. Resting period following the integration, very similar to where Yoongi is meant to be right now in terms of the Higher Self being asked to or allowed to chill out and relax while everything settles. On all levels, things will be very smooth and “by the moment.” He’d be in a great position to help any of the others that were struggling at this time. Lol, he can help Jimin.]

Higher Self: Peace Guides: Come To The Edge Conscious Levels: The Tower

[This seems to be one of those “hands off the wheel” kind of moments in which Guides and the Higher Self will literally take a step back and allow the individual on their own to consciously break through some of their own blocks. Based on the presence of The Tower, I assume that’s exactly what will be happening here. With Come To The Edge, it’s literally like they’re setting him up for exposure therapy, but allowing him to have complete and total control over the situation. This could be an extension of his previous state, may be much more stressed out with it as his own reality that he built up, that house made of faces, is pretty much getting smashed down and he has to actually look people in the eye without anything to hide behind. That's very scary for him, but the presence of Peace is the cushion that he'll have just like everyone else.]

[An “introduction” to rapid manifestation through independent pursuits. Coming into his own being after sticking to the paths that are laid by the other guys. Either planning or executing a solo project of some kind, trying to expand on it and grow it as much as possible. Wanting to see it expand past his expectations. Feeling more like an "adult" or feeling more separate from the others in a positive way. Some of those anchors that he has in Jimin and Taehyung may start to break away so that he isn't literally being dragged through everyone else's path, he can start pursuing his own. Depending on how this comes up, he could carry himself differently, maybe talk more in interviews. He'll really try to present that image of "independent adult."]

The To Be Fair and Between Worlds here really feels like this kind of "payout" for the physical and mental struggle and pain he endured through the process. Like, he'll have room to move through things independently as that receptibility will either loosen or become so open that it's not even noticeable to him anymore.]

This can come through solo ventures as well or separation from the group dynamic, sort of forcing him to be around more people in a vulnerable position.]

Where the fuck is our TFW reunion? Dean and a local lawman from Dodge City, Kansas are hunting something at night in a graveyard, when the sarge gets sucked underground by some particularly strong grabby hands. 

48 Hours Earlier

Dean and Cas are reunited and all is right in the world. (Sam. Sam is here too.) Dean asks Cas if it’s really him. Cas admits to annoying an ancient cosmic being into sending him back to Earth. Sam mumbles something about not knowing what to say, but Dean’s got this one.

“Welcome home, pal.” And Dean gives Cas a big hug ---and oh my, his face journey when he hugs Cas. What the fuck, Dean!? I know you’re in shock, but don’t pal-zone the dude. Your face is a menace.

(Sam. Sam is here too --and he gets a hug in as well.)

Cas asks how long he was gone (all calculations seem to indicate ~a month), and Dean responds, “Too damn long.” Like, when Cas finds out how long it really was, he better call Dean out on how dramatic that is. He tells the brothers that he was in the Empty. Sam surmises that Jack did something to wake him.

<Insert Fanfiction Gap where TFW discuss Cas’s new outfit, what serious pain Dean’s been in lately, the absence of Mary, and Jack not needing all those diapers after all.>

At the bunker, there’s a heartfelt meeting/reunion of Jack and Cas. This third Cas hug was really emotional for me, guys.

Jack is eager to prove to his new family that he’s studying hard, moving pencils with his mind, and finding cases to work. If he wasn’t so fucking cute, I’d have my supernatural sensors pinging right now. He wants so desperately to be good, but the more he learns about his powers, the more he’ll use them. We’re only at episode 6 --there’s a whole lot of time for him to go dark side. Jack lets the team know that “the dead are rising in Dodge City, Kansas.” Nerd Dean makes an appearance. And much to Sam and Cas’s reluctance, they decide to check it out. Off to the Stampede Motel and RV Park!

Dean books the best room in the joint (but only two beds for four grown men, smh). 

And Dean Bean really nerds out about all the western gunmen on the wall. (Sam. Sam is here too --wondering why he can’t enjoy serial killer trivia.) Also, I just about died watching Tactile!Dean touch the bison’s nose. 

While Dean and Sam prepare to crash for the night, Cas and Jack bond over not sleeping.

Dean opens the closet door to discuss how getting Cas back is a “pretty, damn big win.” Sam’s happy he’s happy, but his Dimples of Knowledge™ indicate he knows it’s more than that. And he closes the closet, conversation over.

Meanwhile, Deputy Kyle pulls over a stolen truck, only to be dragged under the vehicle for his efforts.

Later that night, Dean gets his first real good night of sleep in a month, while Cas and Jack talk about all that’s happened to Jack. Jack is just such a nougat-face wondering about heaven (angels are dicks, Jack.) They talk about Kelly, and Cas apologizes for not being there for Jack from the beginning. “Kelly would be so proud of you,” Cas assures his mini-me. It’s then that Jack sees the latest law enforcement development and runs to tell Sam and Dean. Cas, who’s watched Dean wake up angry so many times he’s lost count, runs to stop Jack from making the most egregious error, but is too late. Dean pulls his gun on him (thankfully Jack doesn’t blast him with nephilim power, right?), and then asks for someone *cough*Cas*cough* to make him coffee. 

After finding out that the deputy was found with bite marks all over, Sam and Jack decide to hit up the local graveyard while Cas and Dean check out the crime scene. After Dean’s coffee break, of course.

Classic Scene Alert

Dean and Cas pull up to the crime scene. Holy Hell, guys. I could watch this on repeat forever.

Dean bought Cas a cowboy hat --only it’s a straw hat!

Dean fixes said hat to look better, but Cas is dubious of that correction.

Cas touched Baby’s rearview mirror and lives to to see another day.

Dean is hella excited to act like he’s in the movie Tombstone.

Cas is Dean’s ‘Huckleberry”, i.e. man he’s been looking for.

Dean makes Cas watch movies with him.

Dean closes his eyes and swallows very dramatically when Cas lowers his voice and quotes Tombstone. (I don’t make the rules, that’s just canon.)

Dean is glad to have his angel back and his voice breaks when he says “Cas”.

<Insert dramatic exit from car set to the Steve Miller Band’s Space Cowboy.>

I have to admit, I’m not the biggest Steve Miller Band fan, so I was a bit meh when I first heard this, but after watching this scene a couple hundred dozen times, I’m cool with it. It’s certainly not their most played song and it’s jangly fun for the scene. I loved the record scratch at the end. And Cas’s “Howdy partner” and “Much obliged”? JFC.

Dean Agent Russell, and his associate, Cas Val Kilmer, meet with Sergeant Phillips about the victim. Turns out to be his nephew, and he’s wondering why the Texas Rangers are this far north. Dean rolls with his new role.

At the undertakers, rockabilly Athena is preparing a body for embalming while wearing noise cancelling headphones. She doesn’t hear Sam and Jack Agent’s Elliott and Paxton approach. Athena doubts Jack’s age (aww, remember when Sam was so young people doubted that he was an FBI agent? They grow up so fast.) Sam and Athena make a brief connection over Amanda Palmer and Jack fucks up and asks about cold spots. (He’s trying so hard. PROTECT.) 

At the grave, Sam finds a gnawed on hip bone. They’re dealing with a ghoul!

TFW 2.0 wonders if Athena is the ghoul, but quickly dismiss that idea. Athena, meanwhile, is busy at work, and busy being followed by a shadowy figure. Dean figures it out that they’re looking for Dave Mather, cowboy and outlaw and someone who’s been dead since 1886, “which makes this a little weird.”       

Athena’s mysterious stalker is Dave! It seems that Athena was accepted to a prestigious make-up school in LA. Dave is less than impressed. Athena spills the beans on the FBI visit, alerting Dave.

After Jack pieces it together that Dave is Athena’s boyfriend, they head out to the mortuary, looking for Dave.

Dave is busy robbing a bank.

Team Free Will 2.0 heads to the bank to stop him. They confirm that Dave is, in fact, a ghoul who's been chomping on ole Dave for a long time now. A regular Western-style shootout begins. Cas tells Jack to stay hidden but Jack's full of confidence now. He rushes out and gets shot full of lead for his trouble. But Jack's unperturbed by this. He holds up his hand and does a power blast, throwing both Dave and the bank guard violently backwards.

Dave falls to the ground but the bank guard gets knocked against a concrete pillar. When he falls to ground, he falls down dead, presumably killed instantly as soon as his head hit the pillar. Dave escapes on foot with Dean in pursuit while everyone else checks on the guard. Dean loses Dave (curse you, stray automobile!) and heads back to the crime scene where Jack is looking with horror on the dead guard who Castiel tries and fails to resurrect. This seems like a low power moment for Cas, but here's my headcanon. Cas could revive the body but the guard's soul already moved on. Since he isn't welcome in Heaven these days, Cas couldn't head up and retrieve his soul. You may say to me. Natasha. How do you explain Gadreel then HUH? To that I simply say that Cas and Charlie's souls hadn't moved on yet. (I also accept the more popular headcanon that Cas will never be max power again now that some of his grace was destroyed by Metatron’s spell.)

Anyway, the guard is irrevocably dead. They all head back to the hotel to figure out their next step.

We cut to the hotel where the camera closes in on Jack with an actual thunderclap sound effect. Yesss yes give me your heavy handed audio cues. Cas asks if it's happened before (and I'm getting some serious parent/teacher conference vibes here.) But it doesn’t really matter, does it? Because there’s a dead man in town and the police are gonna be sniffing around. Dean sends Cas and Sam home with Jack while he stays to take care of the ghoul.

Back at the mortuary, Dave stumbles in on Athena. He's bleeding, aggressive, and he's got a bag full of stolen money. He confesses to robbing graves for quick cash and a bank for mega cash. Athena hears all this, puts two and two together, and realizes that he killed the officer. Dave protests that the murder was okay because he “had it coming.” He grips her tightly and tells her that she should stick with him because he'll protect her. It's all very...UGH. Athena tells him that she'll never stay with him and I'm honestly fearing for her life right now. Because telling him she's leaving him will only lead to him rage-killing her, right? A car pulls up outside, interrupting Dave in what just might have been the knick of time.

We jump to outside the mortuary. It's the Sergeant, quickly followed by Dean! They greet each other laconically. “You here to shoot down a gosh durn monster?” “Yep.” They stalk through the cemetery and separate to flush out Dave when a hole opens up in the ground (yes, we're looping back to the opening scene) and swallows up the Sergeant. Dean rushes to the hole. It's deep and dark and Dean, bless him, hesitates at the lip of the sinkhole.

“Mmm mmm. Nope, I don't wanna,” he says and I one hundred percent back him up on this opinion. Going face first into a tiny crawl hole is the stuff of nightmares. To his credit, however, in he goes. He crawls through on his belly, shotgun in hand.

Back in the Impala, Sam and Cas try to make Jack feel better. “I've killed people who didn't deserve it,” Cas tells him. “My friends. I killed people I loved. I wish I could tell you that it gets easier...with time it hurts less but that would be a lie.” Jack ain't buying it and honestly...neither am I. I'm not convinced that telling newborn Jack that his role model isn't such a role model is the best strategy in this case. But ANYway. Cas tries to convince him that what happened was a mistake and he can still improve. “I have to believe it,” Cas says. And...AAAW CAS <3 Always swimming towards faith in something better. (High fives the Empty for drop-kicking him back to us.)

Jack is JUST DONE.

Dean finally crawls to the end of the tunnel and ends up in the undertaker's basement. He finds Athena tied up down there and the Sergeant injured but alive. A gun snicks behind Dean and he turns around to find the last player in the drama: Ghoul Dave.

Dave's wearing his cowboy hat (because why not) and orders Dean to hold his hands up high. Dave hits peak about-to-get-his-comeuppance smug, describing how he's going to kill Dean, when Dean steps aside revealing the Sergeant holding a shotgun. The Sergeant fires a carefully aimed round and takes off Dave's entire head. The blood cannon splatters across Athena's crisp, white shirt in what Boris described as cleverly staged costuming. “Happy trails, cowboy,” Dean says to the headless body.

Dean heads back to the bunker, gives the victory report, and tells Sam that he took care of covering up Jack's accident. This makes Jack angry. He's not ready to accept forgiveness and he's frustrated that everyone tells him to move on. He shouts and Sam backs away with his hands in the air. Jack recognizes their fear. “Maybe I'm just another monster,” Jack theorizes. To everyone's surprise, Dean disagrees. He's no more monster than Sam, Dean, or Cas. Jack, to his credit, doesn't think this is exactly a winning argument. Jack decides to leave so he doesn't hurt anyone else. He power blasts them all to the floor and then flaps out of the bunker.

Summary: Camping, a night under the stars, making smores at the bonfire and snuggling under a thousand blankets - sounds perfect right? Unless you hate everything about it then you’re pretty much screwed.

Author’s note: So, I finally found two seconds to sit down and complete something - it isn’t that amazing but it was legit all I had time to do. And I barely proof-read so there might be the odd error or two.

Honestly I thought I was at the peak of my anger. I thought I was at the point where I couldn’t be pushed any further. My veins were fizzling with my hot blood and my hands were balled into tight fists; I was borderline furious. However as we continued our hour-long trudge up the side of the muddy hill I felt a completely different degree of fury. 

“What. The. Fuck.” It wasn’t a question it was just the most simple exclamation of my rage I could think of. The two boys who were leading the little ‘expedition’ turned to face me at my sudden outburst but I had my eyes shut avoiding the disaster below me.

“What’s wrong now?” Sehun whined rolling his eyes in slight annoyance - he’s lucky I didn’t see it or I would’ve thrown him off the edge. 

“My fucking shoe!” They both moved their eyes to my shoe eyes widening once they realised the problem. “Is it bad? Please tell me it isn’t bad.” I definently heard the squelch of something much too thick to be mud but I was too afraid to actually glance down and examine it for myself.   

“Well, your shoes definently aren’t white anymore.” Chanyeol mumbled trotting down to where I was still standing. “Here just jump on my back and I’ll carry you to the campsite.”

“Why don’t you just carry me back home.” I retorted bending down to remove my now ruined yet very expensive trainers. 

“You know I can’t do that.” Yeah, I did know that but it never stopped me from asking. Sehun planned the camping trip because it was something he always wanted to do but never had time for. Now, that their promotions were over he decided to do it and drag Chanyeol along with him which meant somehow i got dragged into it as well. Chanyeol was well aware of my hate for anything outdoorsy that involved mud and bugs yet he insisted I joined promising ‘a night of fresh air and fun’. More like a night of no-heating and wifi. 

“Why can’t you just find a way to enjoy this?” Chanyeol said as we continued our way up the hill with me clinging to his back like a baby chimp. 

“Because I hate being more than 2 metres away from a fridge and you know that.” He laughed making me vibrate. We barely got anytime to spend with one another so the fact that we were wasting our rare free night camping made me a little more than pissed.“Why couldn’t we just stay home where it’s warm?”

Chanyeol sighed pulling me further into him. “Just try and have fun, please, for Sehun’s sake. He’s been nagging me about this trip for weeks and I just want to get it over and done with, okay?”

I groaned resting the tip of my nose in the nook of his neck. He was right, as per usual. it wouldn’t be fair if I ruined Sehun’s only free night so I may as well make the most out of my sticky situation. “Fine. I’ll put on my best toothpaste commercial smile whilst I shiver and die of hypothermia.”

“That’s my girl. Hey, maybe you’ll realise camping isn’t all that bad.”

As if.

The tents were set, the fire was crackling and Sehun had found new, magical ways to successfully piss me off even more than I already was. I was curled in a blanket by the fire stealing all its warmth whilst staring at ‘no signal’ in the corner of my phone when I felt a tickling sensation on my shoulder. Thinking it was my hair I just shrugged it off focusing on trying to stay warm. And that’s when I saw it. The hairy, eight-eyed thing staring up at me. I shrieked flinging the blanket from me to aggressively try and get rid of the creature. It’s little fingers were clinging to the fluff of my jumper and it wouldn’t budge.

“Help!” I screamed summoning both boys from their tents. They looked petrified when they saw me dancing around crazily waving my arms and hair. “Seriously guys this things gonna kill me!”

Chanyeol walked over to me slowly trying to swat it away with his hands but it was increasingly hard when I was twirling round in circles. “If you could just stay still this would be much easier.”

I froze shutting my eyes so I wouldn’t even see the giant thing. All I could feel was Chanyeol’s gentle hand float over my body before he was saying: “Done.”

With my heart-rate back to normal I opened both my eyes still in a state of fear and shock. Chanyeol looked generally concerned for my mental state whereas Sehun was having the time of his life doubling over in laughter. My mind went blank and all I could see was red. That punk really had the nerve to laugh when the only reason I was stranded in the wilderness was because of him.

“Sleep with one eye open Oh Sehun.” I spat marching past the cackling maknae to my sleeping arrangement for the night.

“Maybe you should there might be more spiders in there.” He chuckled holding onto a tree stump for support. I was so ready to strike his smug little face, in fact I was already making powerful strides towards him, but the look Chanyeol gave me made me simply breathe and turn back to the tent muttering curses under my breath. 

Later on in the ‘comfort’ of the tent Chanyeol returned with a bag full of snacks. I wasn’t even hungry but I still reached for the biggest back of crisps I saw. Maybe it was the anger.

“Thank you for this.” I shrugged tearing the bag open with vigour. “No seriously, thanks for doing this for him. It means a lot to me.”

Hearing those words instantly made my irritation fade away. I put down the bag of crisps to face him. He looked so cute with his nose slightly red from the cold and the tips of his ears blushing. Just looking at him filled me with comforting warmth. 

“Don’t worry about it yeolie, you know I would do anything for you and that spoiled brat.” He bellowed in laughter reaching forward to cup my chilled cheeks.

 “Jagi, you’re freezing! Let me keep you warm.”

Without warning he lifted my blanket and snuggled underneath it wrapping his strong arms around my torso. I relaxed into him reviling in the feeling of him so close. He was so warm despite the freezing temperatures outside. 

“How are you so warm when I’m literally a snowman?”

He chuckled pressing himself closer into my shivering form. 

“I don’t know, maybe it’s my winter heat?”

Fuck aight so I just saw a post on suicide and realized. I’ve never really talked about my attempt before, at least not in detail. A few of my friends found out when I was drunk once cause I couldn’t keep my mouth closed smh and I lightly told one of my friends after she said unknowingly said something shitty about people who commit. I’m just going to talk about it. I don’t really have a reason but I feel like I should finally let this out.

I was a sophomore in high school and shit was getting really bad with my family, particularly my dad. I’m not going to go into detail with that, but it was a bad situation. I was majorly depressed, and ended up getting diagnosed by my family physician a month after I attempted (she didn’t even know about the attempt). She theorized it was a hormone imbalance triggered by certain events that had transpired in my personal life. So when I should’ve gotten over it, the hormone imbalance instead made it worse and last for months. My mom was an alcoholic at the time and was riding me hard about school, gymnastics, and the shit that was going on with my dad. I didn’t really have any friends that I was actually close to and I felt really alone. My only joy/escape was reading and gymnastics but because of the depression I didn’t really enjoy them anymore. And with my mom riding me, it felt like a chore to do one of my only passions. I ended up hating it after awhile. It was like I knew I liked them but couldn’t even try without getting so tired. It didn’t feel worth it anymore. everything I did I felt like I was doing out of habit. There was no substance in my life. It was all just pointless, like in my head nothing was getting better and outside it was exactly the same. There was a stagnancy to where I was at the time that was really inopportune. Everything hurt and it didn’t feel like it would ever get better. Obviously that wasn’t true but I wasn’t thinking straight. and after months of feeling the same way I was just tired. I didn’t want to deal with it anymore.

After a particularly bad day I went home, grabbed one of those industrial sized bottles of ibuprofen, took it to my room, and swallowed about 3/4 of the bottle. I don’t know for sure, but I think it was about 250-300 pills. I kept pouring handfuls and then stuffing my mouth and downing it with water until I felt full and slightly nauseous. Afterwards I pulled on my most comfortable clothes and got into bed and cried for almost an hour. I didn’t cry because I regretted it, I was just scared about what was going to happen after. I cried with relief and fear and almost a sort of ‘ha fuck you’ attitude. As if that had been my only escape and no one could hurt me anymore. Like I had won a game or something. And then after calming down, I went to sleep, fully expecting not to wake up again. I didn’t dream, but I do vividly to this day remember this sense of “I’m done” that just came from nowhere. I know that sounds trippy like I was high or something and it probably was because of the drugs but, that’s what I remember feeling.

Unsurpringly (I only say this because I am obviously writing this now) I woke up the next day. I woke up by my dog jumping on my bed and curling into me and laying her head on my chest. I didn’t even remeber what I had done for a few minutes. I just sat and lazily pet my dog and thought about nothing until I remembered. Once I did, I jumped up and ran to the bathroom and forced myself to be sick to get as much of it as I could out of my body. What was surprising was that I was absolutely fine. I slept at least 8 hours with all in me and nothing was wrong. My body didn’t hurt or anything and I didn’t have any bad symptoms. I didn’t regret anything until that moment tho, that very moment when I fully understood that I should have died and didn’t. There was no logical reason as to why I didn’t. I couldn’t explain it. But once I was aware of the fact that I was still alive, I was just so relieved. I felt like I had a second chance, and even tho shit was still going on and I wasn’t cured or anything, I realized living even like how I was at the time was so much better than not living at all. I didn’t regret my actions until I realized what they really could have cost me. Looking at my dog helped me a bit with that. I remember cleaning myself up, taking a shower, and going downstairs to eat breakfast with my mom and acting like it never happened.

I was still depressed, don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to lie and say I was cured or some dumb shit like that. But I was more aware about it all and tried just a little harder to not give in. I looked for things to look forward to, like tv shows that I wanted to see the end of or books that were coming out that looked somewhat interesting. Stuff I knew I would enjoy normally. I looked for things to make me want to stay alive for another day, everyday. And at some point, almost a month later, my mom took me to my physician and told her she thought I was depressed. I was blood tested after getting asked a bunch of questions for almost an hour and at the end of it all I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder. They gave me ways to help, most of which I had looked up myself and tried previously, but with better instructions on what to do when they didn’t work. I was still depressed for 2 months afterwards, but things started getting better. I started developing small connections and found people to talk to, not about this stuff but just light mundane things. My mom had me start going to a therapist as well. I never told her about this, but I did talk to her about everything else. And it helped. I began to actually enjoy things again. Very slowly but day by day, sometimes week by week, it got a little minuscule amount better. I remember one of the things I was really surprised about was food tasting good again. I hadn’t even noticed but it had just lost all flavor to me.

Anyways almost a year later my diagnosis was changed to Seasonal Depressive Disorder, which I still have, and I learned to cope. I experienced things I’m forever grateful for and made connections to people I never thought I would have. I had my first boyfriend, and had my first heartbreak, and made some amazing friends, and ended up winning over my dad in court (yay). I’m in college for God’s sake. I never thought I would actually survive past high school, and yet here I am, living in a new state with new friends and taking the steps of becoming a family physician myself. I’m so very very thankful for whatever kept me alive that day. It was really a miracle. I’m catholic and I believe it was God but I don’t claim to know that as the truth.

I know I should probably write about how I learned my lesson and where my thinking was all wrong and what I shouldn’t have done and all this other shit to help people that read this that maybe feel similar. But I’m not going to, at least not right now. Maybe later, but for now I’m really tired, it took a lot to write this lol. I will say though that as inconceivable as it sounds, it does get better. Not instantly and not on its own. But through hard ass work and some outside help. You will get past that point in your life. At least if you make an effort. One thing someone told me that kinda helped me (even though it was meant for sports, I feel like it translates to everything in life) was that you should never quit on a bad day. I could expand on this but honestly I think it’s pretty straightforward. Wait till one of your best days, when you’re batting 100 and really ask yourself if you’re willing to give it all up. Days when you’re surrounded by people or pets or things that you love. And if you can honestly say you can give it up, then ask for help from someone else. Someone to point things out to you that are worth missing. Because we don’t always think straight when we feel that way. You can’t just wait a few days while thinking with the same perspective though, you need to try to change your viewpoint, think about it in a different way. Instead of looking for reasons to kill your self, try to argue with yourself why you shouldn’t. Build an argument based on what you would say to a friend and then use it on yourself. That’ll make it easier to see things and understand where you can get help and what you need to change in your life.
