#why did i redownload this dumb ass game

i redownloaded the Sims 4 because finals are Rocking My Ass and i needed to de-stress by playing a low-stake video game for 18 hours straight, and it’s been a,,, wild ride

i’ve only made Logan, Roman, Patton and Virgil so far because it was Taking Too Long to make characters and i grew impatient, but here are some Highlights from my first day of play

Roman spent like two hours talking to himself in the bathroom mirror, and in that time frame, both Patton AND Logan ended up needing to use the restroom, except while Patton refused to enter the room until I forcefully removed Roman myself, Logan marched right in and yelled at Roman to GTFO without any outside intervention

i started it in the wintertime because summer is dumb and i like snow, and even though Virgil kept getting cold and complaining about it, he refused to stay in his Cold Weather Clothing no matter how many times i made him change, defaulting to his everyday hoodie instead 

Roman ALSO kept complaining about the cold, which makes sense because he refused to do anything but walk around in his boxers

i left them to their own devices for like ten minutes with full autonomy for the laughs, and in that process, i learned that Logan will NOT shower on his own if he’s in the middle of a book; he’ll just,,, keep reading until the book is finished, even if the decreasing hygiene metric is making him miserable

Patton’s sim sings in the shower, which is incredibly wholesome and also on brand

i forced all four of them to go to a social event even though Virgil and Logan were both pretty exhausted, so Logan made the executive decision to sleep on a bench whereas Virgil just sat there Feeling Bad and Making Sure I Knew About It

Patton wanted a beebox, so i got him one, except the bees keep getting enraged over Literally Nothing and attacking all of the household members at random, so i ended up deleting it

i built a second bathroom once i had enough money so that these dumb dumb idiots could stop walking in on one another, and yet both Patton AND Virgil walked in while Logan was showering despite the fact that there was an unused bathroom Less Than A Hallway Away

for clarification: they walked into the bathroom together. why did they do this, you may ask? Hell If I Know

actually, Virgil technically walked in twice. he walked in, got embarrassed, walked out, and then walked in with Patton a second time; (”i am looking,” “i am looking away,” “...i am looking again”)

i love this stupid game
